i always sleep more in the day time during summer bc adhd babey but with how much more sensitive i am to heat on my new meds i am like. sleeping the early afternoon to late afternoon, dozing until the temperature drops significantly around 9-10pm, being active until like 2am
going to sleep
waking up at 4 or 5, being active until 8amish, then being SO sleepy and going back to dozing or outright sleeping until lunch, eating
then going back to sleep and repeat

I know I complained about the 30+ degree heat and all but can I. can I have it back. it's been raining off and on all day and there's maybe been 10 non-consecutive minutes of sunshine and if I thought the heat was draining my energy it's nothing compared to being cold and everything being grey and lightless and what do you mean it's only going to get colder and greyer for a few months and then only really slowly brighten up again how am I meant to function through all that I'm already tired

I spend 3-4 hours outside in direct or indirect sunlight now and it has helped my hormonal health so much. Reminder that Vitamin D is a biomarker for how much time you spend outside. Supplementation alone is not enough. You need to touch grass. & the darker your skin, the more time you need outside

October sailed from a languidly hot autumn into a sub-freezing, snowy last fortnight. And now on this, the first day of November, there was an inversion and thick frost.
Now every evening I daydream about showering in the morning with my diy sunshine lamp clipped to the curtain rod. Warm, sunshine showers bear me through the cold, dark winters.
