🌹. విష్ణు సహస్ర నామ తత్వ విచారణ - 911 / Vishnu Sahasranama Contemplation - 911 🌹 🌻 911. శబ్దాతిగః, शब्दातिगः, Śabdātigaḥ 🌻 ఓం శబ్దాతిగాయ నమః | ॐ शब्दातिगाय नमः | OM Śabdātigāya namaḥ

శబ్దప్రవృత్తిహేతూనాం జాత్యాదీనామసమ్భవాత్ శబ్దేన వక్తుమశక్యత్వాత్ శబ్దాతిగః

శబ్దములను అతిక్రమించి అనగా శబ్దములకు అందనిరీతిలో వ్యాపించి పోవువాడు.

వ్యుత్పన్న శబ్దములు ఏవియైనను జాతి, గుణము, క్రియ అను మూడు లక్షణములు - ఒకటియో లేక వాని సమూహముల అర్థమును చెప్పును. కావున శబ్దములు ఏదేని వస్తువునందు ప్రవర్తించ వలయుననిన - అందులకు హేతువులుగా అర్థమునందు జాతి, గుణ, క్రియలు విష్ణునందు అసంభవములు కావున శబ్దముచేనైనను చెప్పుటకు అశక్యుడు కావున అతనిని శబ్దాతిగః అనదగును.

'యతో వాచో నివర్తన్తే అప్రాప్య మనసా సహ' (తైత్తిరీయోపనిషత్ 2.4) -

'వాక్కులు మనస్సుతో కూడ ఎవనిని చేరజాలక నిలిచిపోవుచున్నవో' అను ఈ మొదలగు శ్రుతులును; 'న శబ్దగోచరం యస్య యోగిధ్యేయం పరం పదమ్‍' (విష్ణు పురాణము 1.17.22) - 'యోగుల ధ్యానమునకు మాత్రము గోచరము కాదగు ఎవని పరమ తత్త్వము శబ్దమునకు గోచరము కాదో' ఈ మొదలగు స్మృతి వనములును ఇందు ప్రమాణములు.

🌹. VISHNU SAHASRANAMA CONTEMPLATION- 911🌹 🌻911. Śabdātigaḥ🌻 OM Śabdātigāya namaḥ

शब्दप्रवृत्तिहेतूनां जात्यादीनामसम्भवात् शब्देन वक्तुमशक्यत्वात् शब्दातिगः / Śabdapravr‌ttihetūnāṃ jātyādīnāmasambhavāt śabdena vaktumaśakyatvāt śabdātigaḥ

The One whose expanse is beyond the reach of words.

He is inexpressible as the elements that enable being spoken of in words like jāti, guṇa and karma i.e., class, quality and action - cannot apply to Him; so, He is Śabdātigaḥ.

'यतो वाचो निवर्तन्ते अप्राप्य मनसा सह / Yato vāco nivartante aprāpya manasā saha' (Taittirīyopaniṣat 2.4)' - '

from Whom speech returns along with the mind without attaining Him' from śruti and

'न शब्दगोचरं यस्य योगिध्येयं परं पदम् / 'Na śabdagocaraṃ yasya yogidhyeyaṃ paraṃ padam ' (Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.17.22) -

'Whose supreme abode is to be meditated upon by yogins and is not within the reach of words' from smr‌ti are supporting arguments.
