like there are so many Shiv-Shakti, Radha-Krishna media but little to none for Lakshmi-Narayan. And there are just so many problems with the ones that do exist. Lakshmi is represented as being either so docile she might as well be a door mat, always needing to ask her husband what’s going on or it’s her arrogance being brought into play to put her down. What I don’t understand is - she’s Vishnu’s better half. A woman who can not only match such an intelligent, clever, enigmatic man in every aspect but be his true equal in every sense - why would she not be bold, brilliant and complex herself?
