Life Update: September 2024
I have truly experienced a lot of things for these past three months, from July-September 2024. Within the span of 3 months a lot of events in our lives has transpired in a fast-paced fashion, almost as if there is no time for long reflection until the end. In July 2024, I went to a certain museum in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) named Metropolitan Museum of Manila, and I attended an exhibition there entitled "YAKISHIME: Earth Metamorphosis", organized by The Japan Foundation, Manila (JFM), and there are numerous Japanese earthenware exhibited in the museum during my visit there. After my visit, a typhoon struck the Philippines, causing an inclement weather in our country for several days.
At the end of July 2024, I celebrated my birthday at a famous supermall in our city. I watched the film "Deadpool vs. Wolverine (2024)" which has been very amazing. Days have passed after my birthday, and I attended another event organized by the JFM, and this time, the venue is on AyalaMalls, Manila Bay in Pasay City. There is a film showing of the movie entitled "DitO" (2024) which is Filipino-Japanese boxing film, and it was a great movie. The film focuses on the life and boxing career of a certain Japanese boxer who went to the Philippines to further enhance his skills, despite the fact that he is already a great and well-respected boxer known by a lot of people. I was able to watch the movie for free and I even had the unique opportunity to meet the actors after the movie outside the theater together with a lot of fans as well. The next day, at the same AyalaMalls I attended a press conference of another Japanese film organized by JFM entitled "Kono Basho" (2024) even though I did not actually watched the film itself since I did not have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to watch this film. At any rate, the press conference was very informative and educational as I learned different perspectives on filmmaking and also I was able to take notes on some techniques the filmmakers used in making their films well-received by the audience. After the press conference, I was able to look around inside the AyalaMalls, Manila Bay and I saw that there is an international fencing event ongoing and outside the mall beautiful statues and Philippine boats perhaps made by local Filipino artists were displayed in various public spaces of the mall for the onlookers to see. After such events I decided to go home. Meanwhile, I also attended some online events organized by JFM, and it was an enjoyable experience attending these events.
Days have passed in August 2024 and the season of ordinary time allowed me and my family to experience what more this life has to offer. My mom celebrated her birthday this early August, but we do not really have a formal celebration to celebrate her birthday. We just greeted her on her special day. Every Mondays of August 2024 I was able to successfully purchased cold beverage promos of Starbucks at a discounted price. Also, the 2024 Paris Olympics also took place from end of July 2024 until August 2024, and one of our Philippine athletes, Carlos Yulo, has even won double gold medal 🏅 at Men's Floor Exercise and Men's Vault. Other happenings for the month of August 2024 have already been recorded at my daily journal, and I have been quite busy for this month pursuing my hobbies and job-hunting in a periodical basis.
Now it's time to provide an update for September 2024. This month is probably the busiest month that I have experienced for the past three months, as me and my family attended important milestone events, such as a debut of a cousin at a certain hotel in Manila as well as me finally landing a job at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) months after I became jobless and would keep me busy for the next month. Firstly, I was successfully considered at a certain company in BGC after applying to several companies online. Nextly, I attended another virtual meeting by JFM, which allowed us to further enhance our communication skills in Nihongo or Japanese. It was a fun meeting with different people and I was able to mingle with other people who are also interested in Japanese culture as well. Then, as days passed, we had the opportunity to accommodate a distant relative, who went home to the Philippines to visit us in Manila, as well as we had a late night bonding and drinks with this relative as well as eating puto-bumbong in the evening to end the night. After a few days, I attended for the first time in a while an on-site event of JFM, and the topic is "Kobanashi". I am sharing this post by The Japan Foundation, Manila to serve as a core memory as this particular event that I have attended last 14 September 2024 was my first time to encounter and experience what Kobanashi is. In this event, it is my first time to perform live in front of many people as well as I was able to learn everything about what Kobanashi is. Accordingly, Kobanashi are short jokes that performers tell to warm up the audience before launching the main story of Rakugo. They can be as short as two lines. Kobanashi could be considered as the preface act of Rakugo. Rakugo is a form of Japanese verbal comedy, traditionally performed in yose theatres (Amin Sweeney, 1979 "Rakugo: Professional Japanese Storytelling"). It was an enjoyable event overall, and I was able to make new friends from this point. After a few days, me and my family was able to attend the highly anticipated 18th birthday (debut) of my cousin at Winford Resort and Casino in Manila, and we were happy that we have been able to attend this important event of my cousin and even spend the night at the hotel as well. Our attire in this event was strictly formal, and we have been truly well-dressed to celebrate the occasion. It was perhaps all our first time to attend this event, and we have enjoyed our experience there as the party has an event proper and great food. Good times, great messages from the visitors, and also fun games happened at the party as many relatives and close friends of the debutant and her parents as well. There is also a photobooth where the attendees can take pictures of themselves, together with family/friends. There is also a mini-bar there and it was well-received by the people, especially the youth. After the debut has ended, we had the opportunity to stay at the hotel with our relatives, and some of us even visited the rooms of other relatives to bond and unwind for the rest of the evening as well. We eventually slept at the hotel and stayed there until next morning. After our hotel stay we decided to have a late afternoon lunch at King Chef at Quezon Ave. in Quezon City and to celebrate the birthdays of 2 of my aunts. The restaurant serves dimsum dishes and other Chinese delicacies, and since we are many, we occupied at least three tables of the restaurant. After we ate and enjoy the dishes, as well as bond with each other, we had a taste of a Dubai chocolate courtesy of the distant relative that I have mentioned earlier, and it was really delicious. We also sing birthday songs for our birthday celebrants. Afterwards, we went to the house of my cousin for the opening of her gifts on her debut, and it was really fun and exciting. Eventually, we all went home, thereby ending the day of fun-filled memories and bonding with family and relatives.
Finally, as I reflect on the things that have happened in the last three months, I am still thankful to the Lord for the unique opportunity that me and my family were able to experience such events our lives, which are also milestones for other people, especially our relatives and our society as well. As I look forward to the future, I hope that these experiences have enabled me to pursue the things that I want to do in life more as well as deepen my understanding of life itself. I expect that a lot of things will happen to me on the next few weeks, and I hope to live a better future for me, my family, and my friends.

Six Steps to Find the Perfect Office Space in BGC
Finding an office in a leading location can be a daunting task. So many options are available, and you will have to choose after doing a comprehensive research. You will also have to know where to begin and what you need. Without making it more confusing, let us delve deeper into the six key steps that help you choose the best option among the offices in BGC.
Six steps to choose an office in BGC
1. Find the needs
Your needs will define your future office space. Determine your needs first. Take your time to identify and comprehend those needs. Do you have any business expansion plans for the next few years? Are you looking for special projects or have to hire a workforce? Consider the factor of renting an office space after you have done your homework to determine your current needs.
2. Flexible infrastructure solutions
More than four walls and ceilings will define your office. It must have specific requirements that can support your business operations well. On the other hand, your employees will also have some expectations regarding joining an office. Hence, the infrastructure of an office must be up to the mark for well-acclaimed seat leasing facilities, enclosed private offices, and versatile coworking spaces. This infra must include amenities, services, car parking, seating arrangements, meeting rooms, etc.
3. Strategic Location
The next step is to check for the probable locations of your new office. Make sure you have chosen the leading areas in the city that employees and clients prefer visiting. The flexibility in commute also becomes a factor for the employees. Hence, your next focus should be on the location part of your new office space.
Determine a few leading locations and start scouting the best offices in BGC to rent. Check the services offered by these offices and jot down to make a list.
4. Seek information and compare
Ask for the correct information related to office space layouts from the service providers. Give them a call and explain what you need. Gather detailed information for all the leading options on your list and start comparing them.
Ask for quotes from the authorities and compare these names. Make a short list of those offices and check what amenities you can get in those service packages. Make sure you ask for the best pointers and features that make an office space a lucrative option from the service provider.
5. Visit or take a virtual tour
Visit the probable office spaces physically or take a virtual tour. Check the business and non-business facilities offered thoroughly.
6. Negotiate and put in an offer
Choose one of the suitable options you have found and make an offer. Explain the services you need and set a package you will have to afford every month.
Conclusion
This is how you can find the most amazing offices in BGC to choose from. Make sure you get customized office solutions.

ACTIVITY 1.2: APART BUT NEVER ALONE
Before the pandemic happened I had so many plans laid out for the year 2020, I am actually an extrovert so with the pandemic happening all of planned trips and parties were canceled. I am really grateful that we have a virtual space since I could connect with my relatives and friends.
During the pandemic, my grandfather was rushed to a hospital and we had to transfer him to a bigger hospital since he needs some equipment that was not available at our nearest hospital. We transferred him to the St. Lukes Medical Hospital – BGC and in the middle of the pandemic; we minors and my grandmother could not even visit him or simply have a glimpse of him since we are not allowed in the hospital. Communication really played a big part in our journey, through chats, calls, and video calls are my family’s hope to be updated with the condition every day. We constantly update our close relatives through landline and online messaging apps. Even if we are miles away through the virtual space that exists, we were still able to connect with each other in the middle of the pandemic.

September 15, 2020
For this activity, I am grouped with Jannele Jimenez, Lianna Cabigas, and Gianina Ng. I have worked with them in separate occasions and had a great experience, so I was relieved to know that they were my groupmates. Moreover, it’s been a long while since we last saw each other and it's great to start off the new school year with familiar faces. I do not possess the talent nor confidence to create a video to present my individual response to the three readings, so I will sharing my thoughts through this blog post.
The readings revolved around the various definitions of development communication, contrasting communication for development and communication of development (development journalism). What I got from them was that development communication pertains to a discipline, making use of communication theory to bring about development, while communication for development is a social process, aimed at empowering communities and facilitating their participation in decision making. Rogers (1976), in contrast with UNDP (2009) exemplifies this point. The latter’s definition of communication for development pertains to the actual process of communication between the community and the development practitioner towards social change, while the former’s definition of development communication studies that process.
To be honest, I’m still a bit confused whether to consider development communication as the overall discipline with two components (for/of), or if the two (development communication and communication for development) are totally separate from each other. In my perspective, the two fields intersect in many ways and there are some similarities with the tools used as well as their goals. This is seen in the definitions provided by the World Bank (2006) and the Rome Consensus (2006) wherein empowering communities to bring about social change is the apparent goal. I believe that we can make use of both fields to create and sustain social change.
The definitions are rooted in how the authors define development, which is reflected in the goals of the two fields. Both Quebral and Chatterjee’s definitions of development still put primary attention on economic development as the jumping point or end goal. While Quebral acknowledges the importance of social, political, and moral development, what often lacks is its measures. Understandably, economic progress is much easier to track (and more preferable for most people), however there needs to be some basis for other forms of development. Such is the case for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs, bouncing off from the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), recognizes the interconnectedness of the world’s issues and the need for an integrated approach to solve them. However, the metrics by which countries are measured are economic in nature, which sometimes glosses over issues on human rights, press freedom, social justice, and environmental sustainability.
Continuing with Quebral, she also takes into account the need to include everyone ‘especially those in the peripheries’ to achieve true development. For decades, development interventions benefit only a few members of society, leaving virtually nothing for the rest of the population. In the context of urban planning, this is seen in the stark contrasts between meticulously planned layouts of areas such as Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and exclusive subdivisions and densely populated areas like Tondo, Manila. We also see this in the vast difference between urban and rural areas. We have to involve other communities such as women, Indigenous Peoples, LGBTQIA+, PWDs and many more because they see and utilize their spaces differently, and we have to work diligently to ensure safe spaces for the whole population. However, my concern is how do we navigate the tensions and conflict between the very sectors we are trying to unite? This part I’m not exactly sure what to do. What Quebral also highlights in her work is the need to build the capacities of communities. I did research on technical vocational education and training (TVET) last semester and found that it is an effective way of capacity building. I hope that we will be able to break the stigma surrounding TVET and see its benefits. But more importantly, capacity building highlights the importance of community organising and development. It reminds us that local contexts matter, and that definition of development will differ from each community. As development practitioners, we have to be aware of our roles and take into heart the principles of empowerment, participation, and sustainability. We also have to be conscious about our privileges and work towards utilizing that for social change.
It was interesting to read about the role of community media, particularly radio in development. It reminded me of the plan released by the Department of Education to use radios as a form of teaching for students in areas without stable electricity and internet connection. But there is still the concern over the quality of education the students will receive. I’m sure we’ve all seen the video on Twitter about incorrect English questions presented during the technical dry-run of the government’s educational program. Now that I am writing about this, I realize that it has been a while since the government provided updates about the conduct of this mode of learning. I have not heard stories about how many students are using this mode of learning, whether the content has been improved, which areas are these students usually located, and others. Education is a vital right for every person, and honestly, what is going on right now is a mess, for students and teachers alike.
Shifting to Chatterjee (2010), he mentioned that one of the goals of development communication is behavior change. It should be clear that this pertains to behavior change on part of stakeholders who hold influence over certain community. However, I think back to our first session in sociology class, which stated how it can be sued to alter people’s behavior in order to pacify, and not address their concerns. While I do not think anyone in the class will utilize the tools learned in this class against communities one works with, it is a concern that I have that might happen. As development practitioners, we should be conscious about this and make sure that the work that we do will lead to genuine development.
What makes development journalism unique compared to other forms (as discussed by Chatterjee), is that it thoughtful and deliberate writing. More than reporting what has happened, it asks deeper questions and strives to establish the bigger picture. This is why ideology cannot be separated from the ‘tangible and measurable terms’ of development. The notions of development and community are rooted in ideas, which reflect people’s core values and beliefs. One cannot talk about the tangible factors without the ideological because they are connected and reinforce each other. Furthermore, development journalism has to be used to amplify the voices of the marginalized, to make noise about their plight, and urge leaders to take effective action to address their concerns.
Communication and development are still significantly influenced by Western notions, as we have seen in Chatterjee (2010) and Quebral (2015). We have to break free from these, and strive to create perspectives rooted in our own communities, values, and experiences, just as emphasized in grassroots or participatory development. That way we can effectively make use of communication for development and development communication for enacting social change. The huge role of media in society points to the amount of influence it holds, and thus we should be conscious about the way we use these tools, and always put the community and its people in mind.

AJay Jordan
AJay Jordan, has always been a person who likes to tell a story. She’s always sought to communicate with people in a creative way, having studied vocal performance for 14 years before moving onto film production and screenwriting which brought her back to creative writing. She loves writing magical revenge plots featuring “fantastical dope black girls and boys.” In an effort to make stories centering the experiences of marginalized people, she created The Bookshelf, an online database of 500+ books by underrepresented authors.
Black Girls Create: What do you create?
I am very self conscious about the stuff that I create, and I’m never sure if it’s enough, whether it’s good enough, or enough work, or enough quality. So I feel like I create, and beyond that I stop my brain from going into imposter syndrome mode. I can say I create websites and I create stories, but if I were to get deeper—I don’t know. It’s really hard. I can see everyone else and I can see everyone else’s purpose with their actions and what they create and what they’re trying to do but it’s hard seeing myself.
I hope that I create more space for marginalized people, more specifically brown and Black people, and more specifically Black people, and more specifically Black people with dark complexions because that is what my family reflects and that’s what my children will reflect. And I guess those are the stories I would have wanted to see as a little brown girl, brown Black girl, Black Black girl. When I was creating The Bookshelf I knew right away I wasn’t going to make it just for the age category that I write for. I also wanted to make finding those books accessible for parents finding stories that look like them.
About The Bookshelf
As a writer for the past couple of years I’ve gotten to know this writing community…and through it I found it was hard to find books by people of color. Usually Goodreads is my go to place to look for books, but even then our percentages are so abysmal. I would rather there be a place where I can find a book or even discover new books that are own voices because there are so many tricky people out there who don’t share ethnicity or marginalization with these people. Nothing against them. [I'm] not saying that they can’t do their due diligence, but they’re writing from a place where they’re not experienced and that’s inauthenticity. I’m sitting here with a book that’s not on the shelf and I’m reading your story that has to do with my culture and you’re profiting from this.
Long story short, I wanted there to be a way to find books easier. I was actually going to hold onto The Bookshelf because that was my filler name for the time being. I was going to change it to something but then Barnes & Noble dropped that bullshit changing all those classic white titles and putting brown faces on the covers and I was like, “Dang, I can’t even hold onto my database anymore and perfect it and make it better before I go live. I just have to do it now because I have to combat this issue with Barnes & Noble," because that is such a slippery slope and a bait and switch. I wasn’t here for it.
BGC: Why do you create?
I think very linearly and I imagine a line being drawn across the paper and you draw the line up, and you draw a line down, and squiggle it or you swirl it—that’s the trajectory of that one person. I feel like if maybe I had a second book as a child, not just the one [with Black representation], that trajectory that I had maybe would have been a little bit off; it may have changed the direction of what I would be today and so I feel like that’s why I do The Bookshelf, too. Because you don’t know what you don’t know and you never know where inspiration or where something will spark some level of interest in a child.
Black people don’t have all of the same experience. For me, I am a Black American and in turn an African American, but I don’t know my lineage enough to be able to connect to my culture. So, when I say things like, “Write stories about Black people even though Black people don’t all share the same experience,” it’s for all of those people like me who don’t know their own history. I’m seeing a little bit more stories feature African fantasies, which is still abysmal in the grand scheme of things, that Black stories are like 3% of publishing as a whole or whatever that percentage was. Although I love [African fantasy] stories, I want to write stories for those who don’t have those connections who would still be able to relate.
BGC: Who is your audience?
Definitely, I want to gear my stories towards Black teens, but I feel like you’re not going to find my book in the Scholastic Book Fair. Maybe some time in the future I'll write a middle-grade and you’ll find that at the book fair (you can get your little book and get your little bookmark to go with it).
I still want to gear toward a Black audience but at the same time I got so much inspiration from watching anime. When I watch it there’s a level of freedom. I want that freedom, but with Black characters. So I’m hoping that my audience would be those who like anime but also those who like to game (because I like to game sometimes and I get some inspiration from that, too). I want people to dress up and go to Comic Con in their costumes of my characters.
BGC: Who or what inspired you to do what you do?
"I want to create experiences but I want to have fun while creating those experiences as well." -- AJay Jordan
This is a fair question but the gag is I don’t know if I am inspired by anyone. It’s more like a self motivation for me because I want to create something fun for people to experience. I want to create experiences but I want to have fun while creating those experiences as well. You know how in high school people would be like, “Oh this is the person I look up to. I want to be just like them.” That was not me.
I’ve always been the person to go left when everyone wanted to go right. It’s almost like I was challenging myself to be my own inspiration. I am a competitive person in all things. I will kill you in Uno, Monopoly is my game. I can look up to people but it doesn’t give me the fire to create. It’s the competition with myself or seeing others do something terribly that makes me think, “Hey! I can do that!”
I want to be better everyday. Every time I do something I try to surpass what I created because I don’t have someone to look up to and gauge myself [by]. I just work hard and hope it works out for the best.
BGC: Why is it important as a Black person to create?
My first answer is representation, because that percentage in publishing is so low that it’s almost like we shouldn’t even exist. Animals will take a higher percentage than a person of color — I think in total, too. On the flip side, those in publishing that share the same marginalization of us querying authors is abysmal, as well. Which is why it’s so hard when agents say things like, “Oh I couldn’t connect.” You couldn’t connect because you don’t share these experiences. Your own biases are getting in the way of stories that are authentic.
Representation will allow those that come after us to feel like they have the ability to do what we do. A Black little boy isn’t going to know he can become a bio-engineer unless he sees one. It’s almost like feeling like it’s OK to be here, you deserve to be here, too.
BGC: Why is it important that folks, but especially marginalized people, have access to these stories?
I think that [The Bookshelf] is a great resource for writers who want to comp their own books because sometimes literary agents ask for two titles to see where your book would sit on an actual bookshelf. I’ve even had editors tell me that they use it as comps for the stories that they’re reading for.
I’ve had teachers and librarians tell me it helps them build their lists, that they would also maybe have their students come to the website and find new books. I always tell them to do their research before you have them jump on the site because I have books from picture books all the way to adult.
I’m hoping that it will create baby writers. So those who didn’t think that they would be a writer will see these stories and will be excited to write more. It’s like a virtual hand reaching back to pull up children of color or Black children to write these crazy fantastic stories and become authors.
But also to up the percentage of reading. Reading has definitely changed my life. I was not a reader when I was a kid. I had that one picture book [that had Black representation]. My godmother even tried to pay me per chapter to read this book. I did not finish the book. It was only because I did not have the right story in my hand. It wasn’t until there was finally a book that I was like, “Wow that was actually a good book.” It was that moment that I found a book I actually liked that it changed the trajectory of my career. I don’t think I would be a writer today, I don’t think The Bookshelf would exist, I don’t think I would be as passionate about representation and trying to make these books accessible to people. None of this would exist if it wasn’t for that one book. This is serious. My life could have been completely different if not for reading that book. If that happened to me, it can happen to someone else. And if it can happen to someone else, it can happen earlier in their timeline for their life and trajectory and change their life for good. I feel like books are good things and we have to uplift them especially Black and brown and marginalized voices.
BGC: How do you balance creating with the rest of your life?
I feel like I’m good but I feel like I’m not. I feel like I’m good because I think very linearly and I will be doing multiple projects at once and I’m like Go-Go Gadget, let’s-get-this-shit-done. Let’s do it and have fun.
At the same time when I work, sometimes I forget to eat, sometimes I forget to drink water, sometimes I forget to stretch, maybe go out into the sun and get some vitamin D. I don’t exercise because I’m so into my creative work. I’m always doing something and when I’m glued to my screen and I’m just going. I don’t feel like my health deteriorates, but I forget to take care of myself. I have to work on that because I’m not going to stop doing something until I finish X, Y, and Z and that can backfire. I have to learn to stop and be OK with stopping. But I feel like I have to keep going so I can have results.
BGC: Any advice for people who don’t see themselves reflected in the stories around them?
One thing I didn’t get to do growing up was shadow people. I didn’t get to see this job or this art, I didn’t get a chance to see what something was about. I was very much in the dark. I essentially felt along the walls and found a light switch. If you want to skip that, try to shadow someone or even interview someone who does what you want to do. Try to get as close as you can in regards to things you have similar with the person. Whether you’re a little Black girl and you want to speak with a Black woman who is an architect. If you just do the research and find them and reach out and interview them because there’s potential in you having interest in whatever that is then I feel like you will find your path to creating much easier.
Then, after talking with these people who are doing what you want to do, make sure to keep in contact with them…because if you keep those relationships you never know if it can help you down the line. If it’s a genuine interest in these different things, you never know.
BGC: Any future projects?
I am expanding The Bookshelf. I don’t know if I’m going to keep it under the same name, but it’s definitely moving in the direction of having its own website. And with that, I hope to add some other special things on that website too aside from just books. I am in the literary community and I know that writers struggle in the trenches and just struggle with writing period because writing is hard. So, I hope to add some tidbits on The Bookshelf for that and for those who just started writing and think they may want to write.
I’m drawing more. I can’t say that I’m the best artist but I feel happy with my work art right now, so I’m hoping to start doing some commissions with that but I’m probably going to limit my time on that because in order of importance The Bookshelf and my writing career take precedence.
I’m working very hard to find a literary agent that sees me and would be ecstatic to champion my book and champion my future stories. I’ve tried many different careers in my life and the only thing that has really stuck has been writing.

BGC: The Best Place for Services, Offices and Business in Manila
The Philippines is known as the BPO capital of the world. IT-BPO services drive more than 10% of its economy. The government is well aware of bringing international business to the top metro cities such as Manila by creating a business-friendly environment for foreign investment.
Over the years, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Manila has been an excellent platform for opening virtual offices, offshore development centers and outsourcing IT-BPM requirements. There are tailored PEZA spaces to rent offices in the BGC district.
Why is BGC the best place?
1. Business district
BGC is one of the most coveted business districts in Manila that most international businesses prefer. This location offers multi-story buildings with office spaces available in 15,000 sq. km. There are excellent options regarding large tenants, business destinations, leisure spots, residential options, cultural zones, etc. The government has also designed excellent commute mediums for employees. Affordable accommodations enable professionals to stay closer to office locations.
2. Excellent government policies
The government has designed excellent incentive plans for foreign investors and tax holidays to relax the financial norms to a considerable extent. It is done through PEZA and BOI so that international entities can find BGC, Manila, an excellent location as an offshore business site.
These government policies also benefit the local investors interested in investing in the betterment of the infrastructure of BGC. Thus, it is a win-win situation for the government, local investors, and foreign companies.
3. Talent pool and expertise
More than 92% of the population can speak English quite well. The accent of the people who work in the BPO segment is not an issue even for American, European and Asian companies. Hence, hiring skilled professionals and experts in different verticals is the new norm in this tech age. Due to this factor, most international investors and foreign companies are looking for offices in BGC.
4. Many business modes
BGC is where service providers offer excellent business modes for foreign companies. Companies either directly outsource the IT-BPM requirements or open a new offshore workplace. They can also find shared office spaces, virtual offices, and rental office spaces for business development. Many service providers lease co-working spaces at affordable prices.
Co-working spaces or shared office spaces come with excellent service packages that a company can easily avail of. It can also customize its requirements and choose a personalized package based on the available resources. Hence, the flexibility of such services makes BGC an excellent business address for opening a new branch.
Verdict
These four factors make BGC in Manila an excellent place to invest in an offshore office space. Developing a business becomes more accessible when an advanced infrastructure is available and ready. Such infrastructure covers all the aspects of a business ranging from reception to IT, office supplies to security.
The offices in BGC are customizable based on contemporary requirements too. Find a service provider for office spaces in BGC and kick-start your offshore operations immediately.
