This open house for licensed real estate agents and freelance brokers was included in Lamudi’s (the no.1 real estate marketplace in the Philippines) newsletter for July 2022, which was sent to its 40K subscribers of opt-in commercial real estate professionals.

MANILA – Increased demand from the information technology-business process management (IT-BPM) sector took up office spaces vacated by Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) since the second quarter this year, boosting opportunities for the real property sector amid the pandemic.
 In a virtual briefing Tuesday, Leechiu Property Consultants chief executive officer David Leechiu said improved fundamentals, along with government measures to address the pandemic and raise funds, and the resiliency of the domestic property market, among others, are seen to back the real property sector next year.
 He said demand continues to be high in Metro Manila, particularly in Quezon City, Ortigas in Pasig City, and Makati City at 69 percent, followed by those from Iloilo and Cebu. 
 He traced IT-BPM firms' office space demand to availability of buildings that are accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as tax incentives eligible. 
 "We are confident that they will continue expanding in the country, which remains a leading outsourcing arena for global business now seeking to cut costs and recover from Covid (coronavirus disease)," he said. 
 Leechiu cited the increased demand in Iloilo, surpassing Cebu and Clark/Pampanga for the first time. 
 This, after Iloilo was named as the most business-friendly highly urbanized city outside of Metro Manila last year by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). 
 Meanwhile, Metro Manila led the areas that were vacated since the start of the year as a result of the pandemic at 442,000 square meters, followed by provincial areas at 98,000 square meters. 
 Most of these sites are PEZA-accredited at 56 percent followed by non-PEZA sites, 30 percent, and under application for PEZA, 14 percent. (PNA)

Night at F. Ortigas Jr, Road
F. Ortigas Jr road (formerly Emerald Ave.) is a part of Ortigas Center a central business district located within the joint boundaries of Pasig, Mandaluyong and Quezon City and is the home base of Jollibee. The photo was taken during the night to show how lively this street is with all the mixed cultures from different nationalities can be seen. The vantage point of the street is the mini plaza located on top of a street junction at the very edge. From there you can see the whole street as taken from the cameras point of view. This is also the place for busy office people to socialize, relax and chill from their daily work schedule. The street\\\'s design were also changed on every holiday season which also transforms into a park during the week ends. Info about Ortigas Center: Ortigas Center began as the 4,033-hectare \\\"Hacienda de Mandaloyon\\\", an estate from the Augustinian Order. In the following years, there were several changes of partners. Then, on July 10, 1931, the company was incorporated “Ortigas, Madrigal y cia., S. en C.” as a limited partnership by shares (Spanish: sociedad comanditaria por acciones). The parties to the partnership were Francisco Ortigas (Don Paco), Vicente Madrigal, B.C.M. Johnston, Fulgencio Borromeo, Clyde A. Dewitt and Manuel L. Quezon. When Ortigas & Company acquired the estate, it was a virtual wasteland. The vision of the management, headed by Atty.
