First day of Season of Nesting and we can’t even do the first task. 🙄 Game froze too.

I barely remember the first task in beta, but I would remember if I were unable to complete it. It worked fine. (You needed to be able to buy something to complete decorating the Season Guide’s shared space)

Another problem I noticed is some tasks required friends to be online, and in a certain location. Similar to the Passage of Assistance(?) in the Season of Passage, you needed others online and cooperating to complete tasks. Unlike that season, they had to be friends, and we shouldn’t have to coordinate over Discord or other apps to manage it.

Beta has a lot fewer players, so I only made it about a quarter of the way through the season because no one was ever available to help me complete a quest, and one task that didn’t require others would never register my progress. I imagine this is what PC moths will experience, since they’re so new and most likely have very few friends.

The Witch, Lady Nikola Cogita.

A peculiar woman hailing from a secret village in Kalos, rumored to be found in a deep forest south of Snowbelle City. People say that she has been reported to be immortal, as she shows in photographs and accounts throughout history- but nothing is confirmed.

Her current residence is unknown, as she is a frequent traveler. She is never seen without her beloved Pidove perched on her head or shoulder, who she fondly refers to as "her little dove".

Her Indeedee are dutiful Pokemon who carry her things or open doors for her, while her Gardevoir and Gallade act as bodyguards. Her last Pokemon, a strange Pokemon only seen in old books, acts as her steed.

once again thinking about the post-canon dynamics on DS9

#star trek: ds9 #the strange depression and loneliness-induced friendship that springs up unexpectedly between Julian and Quark #which leads to Julian Quark and Kira becoming a more tight knit trio #Julian and Kira's bond really deepening and them spending a lot more time together #I think it'd be strange for Ezri #she's been there with them all these years but it wasn't HER #sometimes when shes with them she feels like theyre seeing a ghost #I dont think she lasts very long on DS9 and I dont think her and Julian's relationship lasts #she stays for a couple years #but once her and Julian agree to end things she leaves within a couple months #Julian Kira and Quark all bonding more with Kassidy #the three of them taking on different nurturing roles with Jake and helping him out #Kassidy finding herself in this single mother role with Jake but having the village of her friends on DS9 to help #and theyre all behind her and helping her when she gives birth #older brother Jake...#I think Julian leaves sometime after Ezri does #he holds on for a while- mainly for Jake and Kassidy and the baby- before he gets a certain letter from Cardassia #and he stalls for a bit but then he goes to visit Cardassia #and when he comes back after a week its just to gather what he needs to go back for a much more permanent position #assisting with the relief efforts wherever he can #maybe Kassidy and Jake and the baby move to Bajor #to that land Sisko bought #when he comes back- whenever that is- home is ready for him and waiting with open arms #Kira and Quark end up being really tight #still up to their old banter and butting heads but theres a new respect there on both sides #both of them will die before they admit it #but they've stayed awake all night at the bar #sharing a bottle between two glasses and talking about who they miss #Kira's the only one who's ever seen how Quark's eyes light up when he hears Rom or Nog is coming to visit #Ezri comes to visit sometimes

listening to how far i'll go from moana and thinking about suki and i'm. experiencing an emotion

#walked away from this rewatch really just stanning every character i never cared about before #i'm overwhelmed with the sudden desire to write a whole suki fic #like an extended suki story to go more into detail about her life growing up on kyoshi island #and really just dive into what it must be like to be someone who goes from growing up in this tiny isolated village #to literally assisting the avatar in taking down the fire nation #as a non-bender to boot #i'm Compelled #really i think it's the kyoshi novels that opened me up to her #bc it just adds to a kyoshi warrior being a part of the final team avatar - it's coming full circle #kyoshi didn't seem to catch onto the long game that fire lord zoryu was playing despite the threat to keep an eye on him #a kyoshi warrior -her legacy- being a part of stopping the thing she failed to see was starting?? *chefs kiss*#talking tag

#Maybe 84 Charing Cross Road had too strong an effect on me. As I turn my head this way and that #trying to figure out what I shall do with myself when the semester is over and ties are cut with the school I've been teaching for this pas #decade #it occurs to me that I might go - hat in hand as it were - to the old bookseller who runs my favourite used bookstore of all time.#The shop has the most wonderfully curated selection. The first time I walked in there #having been used to the used book section in value village #I almost had my breath taken away #I have to be careful not to go there too often because I am weak for spending money on books #but every Christmas I go and buy a ton as presents and usually something for myself #and I ask the owner if I can start a stack on his counter while I shop and he is always happy and comments on my finds as I bring them #He is kind and conversational on those occasions #My mom once struck up a long conversation with him when we were there together #and learned how he has owned that shop forty years or so and does not have an assistant because he's always managed on his own #And last night as I tried to fall asleep I got ridiculously ahead of myself and imagined the possibilities of employment there in #the detail of a novel without much regard for the probable realities - the realities that he has given no sign of wanting to hire and #having gone so far without an assistant probably doesn't want one #that there would be sides to the job which would likely be dreary #and that as with any job there would be all kinds of difficulties #BUT I often need these romantic imaginings to spur me on to take any kind of action. So - this might be silly - but I am thinking of doing #things the old fashioned way - of going round to the shop rather than emailing him - and asking if there is any chance that there might #be opportunities for work. It will likely all come to nothing and I'll keep looking #but I'll at least make a memory of having tried.

I had an old au no disbarment au in which kristoph gets the turnabout succession case except everything happens exactly the same and for some reason kristoph keeps Trucy, ig to keep up appearances or whatever and Klav and Trucy are horrible showbiz siblings. she's a vocalist for the gavinners and they incorporate stage magic more into their shows. and she gets a purple motif like his. do you see the vision

Probably a bad rpg idea: the players have entered a village to investigate some weird robin encounters. They find that the bartender is two goblins in a trenchcoat. In fact everyone else in the town are goblins in a trenchcoat. They discovered that human shiny money can be easily "stolen" if they are "lured" with goods and services. But now that they have been discovered they have become hostile towards the party in fear they dismantle the "scam". The objective: scape from this "fake" town alive.

#fake #if the playyers scape alive from the town in a peaceful manner and do not give a word about this to the authorities #you could make the word of this spread #and players sometimes could find these goblin towns #that work exactly as normal towns #except if you point that the villager is a goblin #fun ensured when you do this and there is a mew person in the campaign that didnt assist this session
