I don't understand the idea that Victor has no backstory. Like- yeah, his backstory isn't as horrifically tragic and detailed as Eli's is, but we do know a good bit about him from what he's said so far.

His parents are pretty successful, so we can assume he grew up rich. Victor states that they write all of these books about family but have never taken time out of their day for him, even saying something along the lines of the last time they put aside time for him was his birth (not exact quotes, I don't have the energy to look back through the books rn), so we can assume that they were incredibly neglectful, most likely leaving him at home for days, weeks, maybe months at a time and probably not paying much attention to him even in times when they were home. Whether they paid someone to take care of him in that time or he had to learn to be self-sufficient is debatable.

I personally don't think they were physically abusive, and there doesn't seem to be any evidence at present that supports that idea. Verbal abuse is more likely, but I still don't think it was the case. It doesn't seem like they were around him long enough to do either. I don't think those things really need to be a part of his backstory to make it interesting or compelling. His parents were neglectful, and it shaped pretty much everything about who he is.

The biggest and most obvious one is Victor's obsession with attention. There are multiple references throughout the books of Victor craving attention from those around him, namely Angie and Eli. More than anything, Victor wants to be seen. He wants to be a part of something. He wants to be remembered and acknowledged and thought about. He craves the attention his parents never gave him. He doesn't want to be left behind or forgotten.

Being left behind is another big fear for him (I'm mostly speaking about Lockland here, as he becomes a bit less dependent after he becomes an EO, though there can still be an argument made about him latching onto Mitch and Sydney and Dol and Dominic in a kind of makeshift family he never had). He hates seeing Eli succeed because it feels like he's being left behind. He wants to be so intertwined with another person that they can't possibly forget him. He wants to form a connection so deep that it's impossible to sever. To Victor, there's a connection between 'success' and being left behind. He doesn't want to just be an expendable sidekick or an accessory. He wants to be an integral part of someone. Victor's life revolving around Eli is a symptom of his upbringing.

His social skills and general demeanor are also something that can be analyzed. From the beginning, he's set up as the antithesis to Eli, from social class to backstory to appearance to demeanor. They're the same at their core, but opposites in nearly everything else. Compared to Eli, Victor is a total recluse. He hates being around people, he avoids parties, and we barely see him interact with or pay attention to anyone except the people he genuinely cares about unless he absolutely needs to. His demeanor is off-putting, and he doesn't really make an effort to hide that, although he does just enough to make sure he isn't a complete social outcast. Victor grew up in one home with no siblings and parents who were hardly around. Compared to Eli, who was carted from home to home, meeting new people and learning how to blend in all the time, Victor likely doesn't have much in the way of social experience. He didn't have to hide who he was nearly as much as Eli did because there was no one there to see it anyway.

This being said, he is described as being a good liar and able to fool those around him, although notably worse at it than Eli. This one is more of a longshot, but I don't think it's improbable. Victor's parents were successful published authors who garnered their success based on the books they wrote about family. It's possible that Victor had to make press appearances at some point when he was younger, and learned how to lie for the cameras, or he just spent so long out of the company of others that he started seeing other people as more objects to use and less real living people, making it easier to learn the motions of manipulating them. Either way, Victor learns how to do or say the right thing to get someone to believe him, but he states that Eli is much better at actually faking emotions than he is. This is because while Eli spent his life following his father's death surrounded by people and thus learned how to change his entire self to appear more presentable to the general public, Victor only learned how to manipulate people through speech or actions. He can tell you exactly what you want to hear, but he can't put on a fake persona the way Eli can because he never needed to.

In conclusion, Victor does have a backstory, and it informs every aspect of his character, including his relationship to Eli.

Vesna Urlai - Archfey Warlock, under the patronage of the Prince of Frost, Half-Drow, acolyte background, late 20s, they/them, chaotic neutral, side-eyeing master

Backstory:

Vesna was born in Baldur's Gate to a human innkeeper and an exiled Drow noble. The first few years of their life were relatively peaceful, until they began to sleepwalk, hear voices, have visions and strange, vivid dreams. Over the years these visions only intensified, making Vesna's life a living hell. The culmination of this came when Vesna wandered out of the house in the dead of night and was rescued in the nick of time from falling into the canal by their mother, all while in deep slumber. Unable to deal with their child's affliction, their parents sent them to a remote temple of Mielikki. The priests there discovered the source of their problem - Fey creatures. The same Fey who helped Vesna's father gain wealth now tormented his child. The family broke apart; Vesna remained at the temple, where their problem were kept at bay; their mother returned to Baldur's Gate and soon after died of a flu and their father, racked by guilt and shame, cut all contact with his wife and daughter.

Vesna's years spent in the monastery were very lonely. They were the only half-drow there, and they felt othered constantly. The only comfort they found was in a young half-elf druid in training, Merlannon. Over the years Vesna spent in the temple, the two grew closer and closer together. Their relationship with Merlannon was definitely the most deep and intensive relationship they had in their life. They were something more than friends, more than lovers, connected at every level. Merlannon would do anything for them, and they would do anything for him.

However, this was not meant to last. Vesna's problems with the Fey may have been supressed for a time, but once the Fey found out how to get through the temple's protections, the visions, dreams and sleepwalking resumed. One night, in the dead cold of harsh northern winter, while a blizzard raged outside, Vesna was beckoned by voices in their sleep. They followed them, to their death. But it was not Vesna's time yet. Merlannon came for them. He found them, half-frozen and attempted to warm them with his body. He froze to death. Vesna survived.

It was then, when Vesna was on the verge of death, cradling Merlannon's lifeless body, that the Prince of Frost sent his messenger to forge a pact with them. In return for bringing them back to life, allowing them to survive his snowstorm and keeping the tormenting Fey at bay, Vesna is to inform him of all the going ons of the mortal realm, since The Prince is not allowed to leave his realm. The messenger, Rime, in the form of a white raven was to stay with Vesna and allow them to communicate with their patron.

Vesna and Merlannon were found the next morning, he was given a druidic burial and Vesna was recovering from frostbite and hypothermia. They were in a deep grief, unable to do anything but weep for several days, and the priests gave them their space. However, the strange physical changes in Vesna (one of their eyes turning icy blue, their unusually low body temperature and a strange ice burn on their hand) and the white raven who began to follow them everywhere roused the head priest's suspicions. After an investigation, Vesna was exiled from the temple, given a pack of provisions to help them survive and a pouch of gold, and set out into the world. They were still grieving and in shock of how much their life has changed in such a short time, but they focused on survival and making it to Baldur's Gate where they believed their father still lived.

That never came to be. Just when the city was in view, Vesna was snatched up by a Mindflayer ship. And the rest was history.

tbh it´s the art style that lured me in, but i never expected that the story would be so intriguing! the characters oh my god they´re so messed up and traumatized, and so well-written. and i like the pacing. it´s slow, but both of them are complicated characters it´ll take some time to understand them

Prosím pamatujte, že to má být pro děti, takže to není žádné high art, ale spíš trochu simple a goofy :,)

Princezna Doubravka neustále odmítá prince nápadníky (proč asi, že), což rozčiluje princeznu Marii ze sousedního království ("Však mně je jedno, že žádné nápadníky nemám! Ani se vdávat nechci. Ale že všichni radši běží k ní, než ke mně." Rozhodně ne supressed lesbianism). A tak se Marie rozhodne vyjebat s Dobravkou tak, že se přestrojí za prince a bude vystupovat za nápadníka.

Doubravka skrz Mariino ("princ Marián") přestrojení okamžitě vidí, ale rozhodne se do toho jít. Jenom ze srandy, samozřejmě, žádný jiný důvod. Marie si mezitím zapisuje dojmy do deníčku (framing device) a dochází jí, že se začíná do Doubravky zamilovávat.

Teď trochu backstory, protože když bylo Marii a Doubravce, dejme tomu, deset, tak se setkaly a Marie políbila Doubravku na tvář. A jako správná yearning dyke, Doubravka od té doby nedokázala pomyslet na chlapce.

Zpátky do současnosti, pan král, Doubravčin otec, vidí, že Doubravka má konečně nějakého nápadníka ráda, tak v dobré víře sjedná svatbu. A Marii dojde, že Doubravku miluje a chce si ji vzít, ale musí jí říct pravdu. Bojí se ale, že už je pozdě, protože pomocí pohádkové logiky už je ve svatebním obleku dřív, než byla schopná Doubravku najít. Doubravka avšak Marii překvapí, když jí řekne, že všechno ví a že si na ní myslela od doby, co jim bylo deset.

Na konci Doubravka stojí ve svatebních šatech u oltáře, když tu vstoupí Marie, také ve svatebních šatech a oblekovém sáčku. Vzaly se a žily šťastně až do smrti.

Are LoolaLamb and CatNap dating or does he just like messing with her?

They have been engaged for years. They married out of convenience and their relationship isn´t fully romantic, but CatNap actually cares about her in a way and is kind of possesive of her.

How did you come up with the Midnight Mysteries AU?

Funny enough, the idea simply came to me one day in which I was listening to the Spy X Family openings, and since my previous hyperfixation was The Great Mouse Detective my mind suddenly thought "What if I made an AU inspired on both things?" That added to the fact that I always kinda imagined Bubba as a detective and knew I had to draw it sometime.

Does CatNap just manipulate or make deals with the Sugary Scoundrels to cause trouble?

Sort of! As those two grew up in the orphanage that he runs, it´s more or less their way to repay him the favor, even though they spend most of their days out on the streets roaming around. But they are also lowkey intimidated by Catnap... Though, Bunzo has it worse with Mistress LongLegs in comparison. PD: The girls, specially CatBee, really admire Loola! And the latter is quite fond of them too.

Will the Midnight Mysteries AU have a similar story to Poppy Playtime, or does it only have the characters in common with the original source?

It will most likely have a slightly different route as PPT´s story is not done yet, but there will be events of the AU based on it! For example, The Hour Of Joy took place as well, but the motives behind it will be different.

What year does the Midnight Mysteries AU take place in?

Historically wise, it would take place around 1930-50, I don´t have an exact year but I know it would hace to end in 5 given how Poppy Playtime takes place in 2005.

What was MM Catnap´s childhood like?

I still have to think better on it, but he was a wondering performer! Perhaps specialized in acribatics.

What sort of things did Huggy and his siblings do before working for the railroad? What were their parents like, were they even around?

Their parents died when they were still yound, so Huggy had to raise his siblings by himself. They were later taken into a circus, but things weren´t very nice in there... After leaving the circus he took part on several crimes, being the brute force of the villanous gang while his siblings were unaware of their brother´s felonies. But when he took part in The Hour Of Joy, Huggy decided to change his ways from then on and did his best to leave the past behind along with his family.

What are Angel´s pronouns in the AU?

He/They!

Is Angel close or affiliated to any of the characters from the AU (DogDay for example?)

Yeah! He is allies with Poppy, Kissy and DogDay. Angel shares a parent-son relationship with the latter as they practically raised the poor dog after he had gone through a negative moment in his life.

Is CraftyCorn in the MM AU, or does she have yet to be revealed?

Is Billie actually a boy looking for his dad, or a kid playing innocent to help CatNap?

He´s mainly looking for his dad! But I love that twist ngl...

Yes, he got it from CatNap in a fight.

Is Billy´s mom, by any chance, Mistress Long Legs? Does she know?

Yes, she does know but perhaps she wouldn´t recognize him at first as she didn´t raise him and Billie wouldn´t even know how she looks like. Darwin tried not to tell him much about her and her deeds, or at least he wanted to wait and tell him until he was old enough.

How did Darwin go missing, did Billie witness it?

He got kidnapped, and Billie did witness it. He caught sight of the kidnapper but couldn´t catch up to them when he tried to go after his dad.

What happened to Angel?

Many things...

Does Angel have the ability to die and revive in the past before they died? The Angels from the other universes are able to do that too.

No... Or at least, they haven´t tried out yet, so who knows!

"Traitor"? Did Angel used to work for the Prototype before rebelling against them?

Indeed, Angel betrayed their comrades in a very critical moment and since then they all have been searching for him... CatNap mostly. Which is why they usually remain hidden, outcasted and only keeping contact with selective people.

summary: in which your father manages to escape prison and makes it his mission to reunite with you.

warnings: typical cm violence like mentions of blood and murder, also reader’s father is an unsub (kinda like ashley’s backstory) and he escapes prison like the unsub in ‘the silencer’ episode. oh and not yet proof read.

notes: not sure how i feel about the plot/etc but enjoy!

You still remember that day. The day the FBI showed up to your door and arrested your father for crimes you never knew were committed. Brutal crimes, crimes that still make you sick to your stomach when you think about them now. Ever since that day, you’ve devoted yourself to helping save people from unsubs like him, working as hard as possible to achieve this and joining the BAU later on.

“What’s wrong? You said this is urgent.” You walk into the conference room, Spencer following behind you, just as confused as you.

The two of you were woken up in the middle of the night by the usual sound of a case alert, immediately leaving your shared apartment to go to the office.

“(Y/N).” Hotch starts, his facial expression even more serious than usual. “What’s going on?” You sit down next to Spencer and Jennifer. “Your father escaped from prison, he had a medical emergency and the ambulance that was transporting him to the hospital for proper care, ending up crashing. Police got to the scene and he wasn’t there.” Hotch continues, his words immediately leaving a bitter taste in your mouth. Everyone glances at you, Penelope finishing the debriefing of your father’s criminal history. You don’t even hear her, every movement and sound around you fading, except for your loud and rapid heartbeat.

“You can’t work the case, (Y/N).” Hotch explains. Those words catch your attention and you look up from the table to him, “You’re too connected, it’s dangerous.” Spencer interrupts, turning to face you and holding your hand in an attempt at comforting you. “Well, what’s happening then? Has he done anything yet?” You manage to breathe out, ‘anything’ referring to if he’s hurt anyone yet. “So far there’s been no signs of him, but we believe he might try to contact you.” Hotch replies.

“He doesn’t send me letters, he doesn’t care about me, never has. I can’t see him trying to talk to me, especially if he somehow found out I’m working with the FBI.” You shake your head. A part of you does believe he’ll contact you, but you don’t want that to be true, so you dismiss the idea. “You’re the only family member he has left. We’ll send agents back to your house to keep you safe and alert us if he tries to contact you.” The older agent nods. “He’s not family.” You stand up and quickly leave the room, your boyfriend quick to follow you, “Hold on, (Y/N)!”

You stop and turn around to face him. “Stay inside the apartment, keep your gun with you at all times. You know I wish I could stay with you but I need to-” Spencer starts, his tone sounding worried for you. “Spence, I know. Treat it like any other case, okay? I’ll be safe, Hotch said there’s going to be agents at the apartment as well.” You takes his hands into your hands and squeeze them to reassure him, pressing a kiss to his cheek and softly smiling. “I love you.” He says, “I love you too.” You reluctantly walk away.

“(Y/N).” One of the agents in your apartment walks into the living room, “Agent Hotchner needs you on the case, immediately.” He says. “What happened?” You immediately get off the couch, the other two agents leading you to your front door, “You father has been located, he has a hostage. He will only negotiate if he sees you.” Another agent explains, your eyes going wide, unable to speak, preparing yourself for the situation ahead of you.

Getting out of the car, you’re greeted by your team and numerous other agents, everyone surrounding your dad, their guns aimed at him. “Put this on.” Derek slowly walks up to you, his gun now holstered as he helps you put on a bulletproof vest. “You alright?” He asks, “I think you know the answer to that.” You let out a shallow laugh, trying to remain calm. “Stupid question.” His smile doesn’t relieve your anxiety, his eyes revealing the true nature of how uncertain he is at the moment. “You got this.” He places a comforting hand on your shoulder, before moving back to his position from before, everyone moving over so you can walk towards the unsub. When you see the man, he’s holding a knife up to a lady. You try to hide the disgust on your face, closing your eyes for a moment, wishing it was just a really shit nightmare. Unfortunately, that’s not the case, as you open your eyes seconds later, still met with the sight of your father in front of you.

“Darling.” His low voice sends shivers down your spine, a fake comforting expression on his face. “Hi, dad.” You fake a smile just like he did. As much as it pains you, you have to play into his games, rather than angering him. “Oh, I’ve missed you and your angel smile.” He steps slightly closer to you, the lady he’s holding onto letting out muffled cries as he places his other hand over her mouth. You slightly turn back to glance at Spencer, earning a nod from him before you move back around. “God, look how much you’ve grown. A big time FBI agent, you know, when you were younger you wanted to be a princess.” He laughs. “Yeah, dreams change when you grow up.” You pause, “Especially when you find out your own father is a serial killer.” This time you don’t bother hiding the anger in your tone, “Now, let her go, and we can talk some more.” You add. “I’ll let her go.” He pauses. You know there’s a catch to his offer. “If you replace her.” He seethes. “Fine.” You manage to mumble, taking your gun and tossing it to the side. You slowly walk towards him as he roughly shoves the lady away, gesturing for you to come towards him.

Just as you reach your father, you turn back around and make eye contact with your boyfriend, then quickly crouch down, covering your ears as Spencer shoots the unsub right in the chest. “It’s over.” You whisper to yourself, letting out a breath that you feel like you’ve been holding in for a lifetime. Your team runs towards the body, finding out if your father is dead or still alive, but Spencer runs to you, kneeling down and pulling you into a hug from behind, tightly holding you as you process everything, “It’s okay, you’re okay, I got you.” He whispers.

Problém Prince Mamánka spočívá v tom, že aby se na to lidi byli ochotní dívat, musí to být inzerováno jako pohádka, načež jsou lidi zklamaní, protože to pohádka není.

Já například si strašně přeju, aby to nemělo ty zbytečné pohádkově působící stopáž zabírající prvky a mohlo se to víc položit do psychologie postav. Snaží se Ludvík tím, že se chová jak děcko, potlačit svůj strach ze smrti? Odmítá kvůli tomu dospět? Co jeho rodiče? Přišli o nějaké dítě před ním, proto ho matka tak opečovává a otec to tak dlouho nechal být? Co Hudroval? Z toho chlapa čiší nějaké trauma na sto honů, celou dobu jsem se těšila, že ve scéně se smrtí se o něm něco dozvíme a dozvěděli jsme se prd (nebo já z těch informací nebyla schopná nic vydedukovat). A obecně mohlo být víc backstories.

Takže český národ by se fakt měl naučit koukat na jiné věci než pohádky a komedie. Bude to o dost zajímavější

Family members

Korey was born in Aakhan in a lavish yet unloving home. Spending most of her life trying to get her parents attention. The Adiel parents were very neglectful and emotionally abusive, to purposefully triggering Korey's episodes to guilt tripping Esra for leaving.

Korey has two brothers. The oldest is Esra, at 25 years old. The youngest is Noah, at 14 years old. They all get along greatly and have a very strong bond.

-Esra has already cut off his parents by now, and he absolutely refuses to see them again. He has a job and a loving wife and kid. He's not about to let them ruin it. He's always cool, calm, and collected, it's very difficult to really get under his skin. He graduated Thessla, the magic academy for mages, affinities being mind and water.

-Noah is kind of like a golden child, but also not really? He gets treated decently by their parents, unlike how his older siblings were treated, and he is very aware of it. He's very anxious and quiet, but can be brave. He has some big potential to use magic, but until he leaves the Adiel household, it's staying hidden.

Achara Hathai, the mother. She comes from a very strict family with a lot of traditions and rules to follow. She's the 5th of 6 daughters, she barely got any care from her parents, only by the maids. She was married off the day she turned 18 years old to Haneul Adiel. She's cold hearted, cruel, and is more than willing to manipulate others for her own advantage. She's a follower of Leo.

Haneul Adiel, the father. This man came from a very spoiled and entitled home. Raised by "loving" parents, who never once taught him punishment. His parents were the ones who watched over the kids. He was married to 18 year old Achara when he was 24 years old. He isn't a caring man, but a sadistic one. He's the one who'd torture Korey and Esra the most. Despite his spoiled unskilled appearance, he's a very talented mage, his affinities being lightning and mind. He's a follower of Daz.

-Their marriage was a loveless one, only conceiving children to keep the family line going. They both have no respect for each other, getting into arguments almost every day.

Important backstory events.

I. At 3 years old, Korey was pushed fell and sustained a pretty hard hit to her head— but thankfully, was found by a munite, they called themselves "Amaal". She was quickly healed by them, but too late as the right fusiform gyrus (for those who don't know it's a fold in the brain that coordinates the neural system that controls facial perception and memory) had already been too damaged, developing prosopagnosia due to the head injury.

After the munite told her parents found out about this injury, they... didn't care. Which of course caused Amaal to be even more concerned, that they made up an excuse to keep Korey at the temple for a little longer, just to make sure she doesn't have any more injuries they don't know about.

From then on, Amaal would visit Korey and her brothers in disguise, making sure they were okay and still alive. Even giving Esra a few healing spells to practice, and teaching Korey to mentally note vocal mannerisms and physical build so she can be able to identify them without relying on facial features.

II. At 8 years old, Korey meets Jay. I wouldn't get into too much detail about their relationship here, since I already did it in a different post.

Jay's family is very, very close to the Adiels <- them and the Akeins have a long history together. They were visiting the Adiels with his family before seeing Korey in the yard, playing by herself. So he approached her. And his obsession started a year later from there. She actually did not like Jay at all when they were younger, but Korey was basically forced to be nice to him as kids by her parents, and it unfortunately grew into a habit that developed into whatever they have going on because it's definitely not a friendship.

III. At 9 years old, Korey of course still couldn't understand why she couldn't see her parents, and why they wouldn't look at her. So, she had tried to gouge out her eyes with a pair of scissors to give them to her parents so they'd use them to look at her. As in her mind at the time, they didn't have eyes to use, to see.

Don't worry though! Esra found her before she actually gouged out her eye. Though she can still see, some serious damage was done to her right eye, he tried to heal it with what spells Amaal taught him, but unfortunately made it worse since healing was not his speciality, like at all. He ended up using a different spell on accident, causing the blood to flow in it drastically faster, turning it red.

Like I said— she can still see, but in her right eye, it's all tinted red and it hurt like hell. When Amaal visited again, they tried to heal Korey's eye, but unfortunately the damage from Esra's spell was almost irreversible, all they can do is relieve the pain in it.

IV. At 12 years old, Korey accidentally killed two boys who were about 3 years older than her at the time. The boys were bullying and hitting her badly, saying some pretty fucked up stuff, it was until one of the boys reached for her clothes was when snapped. Punching the boy off of her, before starting to slam his head on a rock over and over.

The other boy, too scared to intervene, but before he could run away, she ended up throwing a pretty hefty rock at his head. Killing both of them, and severely mentally scarring her. Thankfully for Korey, the murder wasn't pointed at her, but a violent halfblood who was roaming the woods. But still, even to this day the guilt still eats her from the inside.

Korey only told Amaal about what she's done, and safe to say they were not happy. They put her on community service duty for the rest of the year, while a very lenient punishment to killing two kids, they understood it was in self defense...also she was 12—

V. At 14 years old, Jay was brutally killed by a violent tiger halfblood, getting their guts ripped out as Korey could only helplessly watch. After it was done with Jay, Korey was also attacked by it, slitting her neck with its claws. But thankfully, she was saved by a hunter nearby called...'Warren'. influencing her enough that she decided to join the hunters. But of course, she was still too young to join. So for now she can only train.

Oh boy, were her brothers and Amaal very worried when they found out what had happened to Korey and her "friend".

Amaal, as a way to get her to stop from getting into so many dangerous activities, suggested they become a Dazinite recruit. Her entire family are ones, excluding Esra and Achara. So, she did, and it worked quite well. She stopped getting into too many fights, but was still quite the menace– pretty fitting for a stormchaser. And Amaal didn't have to worry as much about Korey getting severely injured, so it's a win-win situation!

VI. At 16 years old, she was quite literally struck down by lightning. Out of pity, the divine of Weather, Daz. Helped and gifted her a bottle with thunder inside of it..catch is, it was in liquid state. Essentially making her a muse. So far, only Esra and Amaal know about this.

Esra was very worried at first, but he'll warm up to it, eventually. Amaal was a little proud? I mean, their daughter figure just got gifted by a divine. But they were a little concerned about the potential repercussions and consequences..oh and her getting hit by a damn lightning bolt.

Noah has some suspicions of Korey being.. different. But of course he trusts his siblings too much to let his suspicions get in the way of their bond.

VII. At 18 years old, Korey finally meets Cersei. She's old enough to go on hunts now, but of course the older authority figures need to make sure she's ready-ready. And that authority figure happened to be mistress Fain herself.

The conversation was... something. Definitely not a normal interaction you have with someone. Lady Fain seemed to have been a bit suspicious of her being different per-say. But in the end, she was surprisingly very thoughtful of her and others, or at least she acted like that.

Circei had that motherly affect on Korey, but it felt so wrong seeing her as one.

Facts about her

—Korey's the type of person that would stab you as a warning.

—she is so ADHD and Autism coded it's not even funny.

—has a scrapbook with all the bugs and boys drawn in it so she won't forget what they look like and she will actually start sobbing if she ever lost it.

—she can speak Thai, English, and a lil bit of Korean.

— her episodes can either be violent (mainly to herself) or emotional. Her coping mechanism is finding an abandoned building and destroying it by taking her anger out on the things there. There are rare occasions where she talks about her feelings instead of bottling it up for so long it turns into an episode.

—she can barely remember what her parents faces look like, of course Korey pretty much relied on the person's voice to know who's who, but since her parents barely ever spoke to her, it takes her a while to recognise them.

—her grandparents, while mostly nice, were really possessive of her and her siblings. Never approving of her actions and choices, preferring for her to be more feminine and hide her scars. Korey kinda developed body dysmorphia from this, it was especially bad when she was younger

—she kinda had a grudge against halfbloods since she was attacked by one, but it was really only towards the more apex predators type of halfbloods. It was kinda resolved when she met the boys, but can be a bit suspicious if not paranoid meeting other halfbloods.

Of course she doesn't agree with the whole enslaving thing, but does agree that some halfbloods are too dangerous to be left alone, that some need to be put on a watch list by the hunters from how violent they can be. But, never drugged, enslaved and forced to fight.

—has very mixed feelings about Cersei. She understands where she's coming from. Her town got burned down, her family killed, and ended up having a miscarriage after trying to escape. All of that caused by a dragon halfblood.

Korey is an advocate for revenge, don't get me wrong! But she does think that Cersei's ideology went a little too far.

—she is very oblivious to more emotional feelings and weirdly observant to her opponents reactions. she was often mistaken as apathetic or heartless by the village people.

—best way to cheer her up? Cinnamon rolls. Or bibimbap! It's her favourite dish! Her grandparents used to make it for her before passing away

—don't let her anywhere near the kitchen though. She can help cut up the vegetables, but actually cooking? Yeah the place is getting burned down.

Her sense of direction is even worse than her cooking.

—she's both exciting and worrying to be around. Exciting because there will never be a dull moment with all the adventures and quests she comes up with. Worrying because she's a thrill seeker and will most likely purposefully put herself in danger just for the adrenaline.

—she's annoyingly good at fighting with insanely fast reflexes. One could argue because she's a muse, or because she's put herself in so many dangerous situations she learned it from experience. But either way, thanks to her risky endeavours, she's very agile and fast,

—but! While very reckless and careless of her self preservation. She always makes sure the others are okay, especially when they seem exhausted after a day out together. She knows not everyone can keep up with her energy.

he's her older brother, of course she has a good relationship with him! Even when he ran away to go live happily with his wife, Diana. He'd still come back on the weekends to check up on her and Noah, bringing all sorts of trinkets for them. He was the one who first encouraged her to join the academy when she reached 18 years old and not become a hunter instead.. but he understood her choices.

She did kinda hold the fact that he left them to marry a girl he just met against him. But he's made it up to her and Noah!

Esra is very quiet, always looking for ways to gain more knowledge, and stopping at nothing to protect his family.

Noah Adiel—ESFJ-T

Relationship: 10/10

Just like with Esra~ she has a very good relationship with him! Was very saddened when she couldn't be there for him as much. But she tries to visit him as much as possible! Taking every opportunity to go check up on him. She'd occasionally take him on her silly little adventures, just to spend time with him.

Noah is quite the anxious kid, preferring to stay silent then speak up his thoughts. But is brave when the situation calls for it, especially if it's to protect his siblings.

Diana Clair—ISFJ-A

Relationship: 8/10 only because she doesn't know her a lot

She never got to see her a lot, but she treasures her dearly! Along with her daughter, Ayla! Especially since she's her brother's wife. Was wary of her at first, but warmed up quickly!

Miss Clair is a very kind woman, eager to help anyone in need. Even if she's mute, she's more than willing to defend others!

She was very, very suspicious of him when they first met. But warmed up to him quite quickly. She first started considering trusting him at the end of episode 1...and fully trusted him at the end of episode 3.

The reason why she even told him the truth about why she came here was because the guilt was eating her alive. Especially after the third episode-

Thinks he's pretty cool, gator halfbloods are quite rare these days. She tries to help him with the cooking but stays at the cutting duty– it's for the best. Likes how understanding and caring he is, he's almost like a father figure to her.

He reminds her a lot of Amaal and Esra combined.

Timothy Wheat.

Relationship: 10/10

Wasn't that suspicious of him tbh, she just assumed since he was also a gator, he'd know and be close to Bodie, and she was right!

She thinks he's... unique. Was suspicious of the white scales constantly growing on him, but let it go after the albino excuse before finding out he was half an ice dragon— but either way she really likes him!

Thinks his little obsession with crystals and cool rocks is pretty cute, she likes shiny things too, so that's one thing they can bond over! They'll even sometimes go search for some pretty rocks and ingredients for Bodie together. Most likely teasing each other on the way, Korey is often the winner of these silly fights.

Honestly, she really only prefers his company over the others because he's closer to her age. And because she thinks he's pretty and cool.

Marco Palustris Cydarki.

Relationship: 7.5/10

Was pretty salty on the fact he almost crushed her when they first met– but the sketch he gave definitely made it up. She thinks he's also very unique, probably more than Timmy. Is very curious on where he keeps disappearing and travelling off to.

Definitely won her trust by the end of their first meeting. But, her trust did kinda get rocky when she saw him at the arena, but it was resolved after he explained himself.

She still doesn't have much of an opinion on him, but she likes him.

THE CAVE GANG!!!! from hit horror podcast "caving in" (the podcast in question does not currently exist and is a figment of my imagination)

lore stuff below the cut

adam's a younger caver with an obsession for going as deep into the earth as possible. she has a fixation on the very concept of it, she'll do anything to get deeper and deeper down. other than that, she's pretty chill, but around the s1 finale, she jumps into a hole they discover in the ground despite the other two warning her against it, and is never seen again until around the middle of s2, where she's found in the abandoned building they discover deep underground (this story is about things humanity has left behind or forgotten).

mel is an extremely quiet, hard-working, long-time caver, who likes to challenge verself with difficult missions like this one. ve's honestly the most competent one here, it's a real shame ve doesn't communicate well. at all with the other two. ve also has a bit of a backstory related to an infamous cave disaster, but i haven't figured all that out yet.

tive is the token failgirl, an eager geologist who decided to tag along because she lacks "real world experience". really, she just wanted to make new friends. she makes a lot of bad decisions very early on (most importantly not wearing any god damn gear), and essentially has to be saved by the other two several times over (she gets to repay them in a major way at the end). also her and mel have Something going on, haven't decided what yet but it is sexual.
