Dirty Boy (FC43 x m!reader)
Tags:- Cockdrunk Franco, oral sex (reader receiving), subspace, begging
Everyone was congratulating Franco for his outstanding driving. Even his idols, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc and Lewis fucking Hamilton congratulated him, acknowledged his talent and hard work. You loved that in barely three races, the world of Formula 1 had taken such a liking to your boyfriend. What was there to not like about him? He was funny and flirty and charming, and he looked like a complete hotshot.
"They all love you, Franco," you said with pride dripping from your voice. The two of you were lying on your bed, Franco with his head pillowed on your shoulder as you read aloud the tweets about him.
The tips of his ears turned red, a featherlight pink adorning his apple cheeks. "I didn't expect them to at first," he whispered, "with Sargeant being dropped in the middle of the season. I'm glad they do, otherwise I would not have survived James Vowles being such an asshole."
You laughed at his blunt honesty, kissing the top of his head. "Of course you would have survived, baby. You're a phenomenal driver, even Lewis Hamilton thinks so. He said it himself, didn't he?"
"Mhmm. I guess."
You say up to look at him. "What do you mean you guess? You don't think so? You've scored more in three races in half the grid, and that's far more than anyone else could have in that blue tractor."
He threw a pillow over his face and said something, muffled by the pillow. You took it away from his face and saw his flustered face. "Franco. What is it?"
"If I have been doing so good then why have you not congratulated me yet?"
You furrowed your brow, not quite understanding what was going on. "Franco, I've been congratulating you since you got asked to race in Formula One. Have I not said it enough? Because I'm sorry, baby, I'm so fucking proud of you, I couldn't have been more proud—"
"Not like that!" he whined.
"How then?" you asked exasperatedly. He looked down at your crotch, cheeks pink. You caught his gaze and his blush darkened as he quickly looked away. "Oh." Because if there was one thing Franco loved as much as racing, it was your cock. "Oh."
He met your eye with a copy smirk. "So? Are you going to give me my congratulations?"
"Oh yeah? Tell me what you want, baby, and I'll give it to you."
"Don't tease, amor," he scowled, "you know what I want."
You laughed and leaned down to kiss him. "Aren't you mouth today? I guess pretty boys like you are used to getting what they want." You say with your back against the headboard, throwing your sweatpants off. Franco settled between your legs eagerly. He eyes your half hard cock with hungry eyes. "Are you waiting for permission, Franco?" you asked.
He just never stopped being good for you, did he? Franco nodded.
"Good boy. You can have it."
There were two things Franco was exceptionally good at: racing and sucking cock. He stroked it a few times, getting it to full hardness before he licked the shaft from base to tip. Wet heat enveloped you and he sucked, creating a delicious vaccum.
"Ah— there you go. That's a good boy. You're doing so good."
Your praise spurred him on and he moaned around your cock. Soon, Franco was bobbing his head up and down, getting you deeper and deeper into his mouth, until the head hit the back of his throat. You grabbed his curls, not quite pulling, just holding him there.
"Franco? Can you breathe, baby?" He hummed, then met your eyes, nodded. "That's good. Stay like this."
You helped him relax his shoulders, letting him place his arms on your thighs and stroking his back. You saw the exact moment his movements went lax. His brain emptied out, no longer processing anything but the praise falling from your lips and the weight of your cock in his mouth. He forgot to even swallow, spit trickling out of the corners of his mouth and pooling at the base of your cock.
Franco closed his eyes. A calm, almost content look settled on his face. He looked so pretty, lips stretched wide around your cock, drool running down his chin, breathing slowly through his nose.
"You're so pretty, baby. So fucking gorgeous with your mouth full of my cock." You ran your fingers through his hair, scratching at his scalp. Franco sighed happily. "Do you want me to get you off too?"
He hummed, not answering your question. You gently pulled him off your cock. Franco looked at you in confusion like he had just woken up. His gaze was still cloudy.
"Franco, baby, do you want me to get you off as well?"
He palmed at himself through shorts as if noticing his own aching erection for the first time. He shook his head. "Jus' need you," he slurred, "just need your cock. Can I touch m'self?"
"Of course, baby. You can touch yourself. Here." You nudged his bottom lip with your tip. He opened his mouth, sticking his tongue out. God, he didn't even know what he was doing, did he? Franco took you into his mouth, fisting the length he couldn't swallow. Slipping a hand into his own shorts, he began to stroke himself off. What a fucking sight that was.
When his movements started to get sloppier, you grabbed the hair at the back of his head and took control of the pace. You held him still, fucking into his mouth as he fisted his cock.
"That's a good boy, fuck, Franco, so good for me, baby." He whined loudly, sending vibrations up your cock. "Oh fuck. You gonna come, baby? Go on. Come for me. You did so good."
Franco came with a cry that was like heaven on your cock. "Franco," you groaned, coming in his mouth. He swallowed messily, drops of cum dribbling out of the corners. You pulled out of his mouth with an audible pop and stroked his cheek softly.
He nuzzled into your hand and murmured, "m'dirty, came in my underwear."
You smiled at him, picking him up to carry him to the shower. "Yeah. Dirty boy."

thought abt an au i doodled up months ago but never fully explored, so here's some concept designs for that. im gonna ramble about it now
+ height comparison under the keep reading!
god okay i gotta admit: i, unfortunately, kinda love game of thrones. truthfully i dont care for the sex and inc*st part of the show, but i really enjoy the interconnected weaving plot lines, drama, and utter bullshit that happens in that show. its amazing, i love it, its so fucking stupid. so earlier this year i doodled up some ideas for a game of thrones inspired post-totk au. those are here, and here!
I then dropped it and didnt return to it until now, because i started season 2 of house of the dragon and yknow. why not.
as for actual details about the au: i said in the past it was a got-loz au, but im gonna go ahead and say that i misspoke then because i mean more like, post-totk/loz au INSPIRED by got, because i would never want to do a 1-to-1 au of that god awful show. i mostly think exploring a hyrule that is peaceful, but secretly on the brink of civil chaos and how bad humanity could truly get would be really fun to explore!
i struggled to pick a single role for link to have in such an au, so i said fuck it and divided him up into four parts, in universe the hero's spirit has been split amongst four brothers. to nod towards this, and because i'm cheeky as hell, the first letters of each of their names spells link. Laurent, Irving, Nymos, and Kiran. (im so fucking funny (<- is not funny))
they're all noble born to Arthur Hearth, current lord of House Hearth which basically controls and sits on the Great Plateau, and their mother was Eyla, a member of the Sheikah from Kakariko Village who unfortunately passed away shortly after Kiran was born. Arthur btw is named after the King Arthur legends from Europe, as those served as inspiration for the series in general!
I think a plot would follow them all after the death of their father and how they cope with it and move forward, and how they combat suddenly being labeled traitors to the kingdom for their father's acclaimed crimes.
this is getting long, so I'll do some misc bullet points next on their personalities:
Laurent, as the oldest, had to mature pretty quickly after the death of their mother, Eyla. Which has caused him to grow protective of his younger brothers almost to an overbearing degree. He gets nervous when they're not home, which sucks because Irving is a knight, Nymos studies in Kakariko often, and Kiran wants to explore the world via the survey team. Other then that, he's responsible, quite serious in most situations, and still very kind hearted. After his father's death he starts to spiral into a rage-filled depression, determined to get his brothers back and make the king pay for killing his father.
Irving is the most middle child ever. Due to Laurent being in line for lord of their house and is never gonna back down from that, he sought his own purpose in being a royal knight / royal guardsman / kingsguard. It hasn't really worked out well for him honestly, his higher ups hate him for being Arthur's son, seemingly so naturally talented in combat, and charismatic amongst the ranks that some knights ignore their orders just to follow Irving's instead. So as punishment he's been assigned as the former princess Zelda's bodyguard / retainer. While it disappointed him to not serve his full duties at first, he's come to accept it and treats her kindly. He's proud, a little over-confident, just, and secretly a bleeding heart. After the death of their father, he's forced to choose between his family and Zelda, and knowing that Zelda will most likely die without him, he stays with her.
Nymos, oh poor fucking Nymos dude. As a child he fell into the depths and somehow survived, which was fine, but then he came across a patch of gloom that seemingly never faded, and ever since he's been cursed with doomed visions of the future and a talent for magic. No one believes him about the lingering gloom, and claims that he simply has PTSD from the incident in general, but he knows what he saw. He's sought out magical-based physical therapy in Kakariko because of this, and he's pretty much regarded as a local there. He's quiet, a bit withdrawn, pessimistic, but has a strong sense of justice and genuinely wants the best for those around him, even if he doesn't know how to say it properly. When Laurent and Irving are away, he's the one looking after Kiran and keeping him safe. When his father dies, he immediately starts to investigate the current monarchy for signs of dark magic tampering, which leads him down a rabbit hole he never even knew existed, all the while he's being tormented by visions of his brother dying gruesome and horrible deaths. he's forever an internal nervous WRECK
Kiran!! The baby!! Might be the most dangerous brother of the four, but we'll cover that later. As the resident youngest sibling he's naturally gotten away with pretty much everything and anything, because who can say no to those big baby blues. Thankfully he's not actually that destructive or ill-mannered, but he isn't above pulling a prank on someone for the fun of it. He yearns to leave home and explore the vast continent of Hyrule though, and shortly before everything goes wrong he's accepted into the Survey Team and gets to enjoy it for a bit. He's excitable, energetic, optimistic, and somewhat a handful (get this teen a child leash please) but he means well and is determined to get whatever is on his mind done and finished. He's the last to be told his father is dead as his team didn't tell him about the incident until suddenly there's a group of bandits attacking them and demanding they had Kiran over for ransom. Kiran goes willingly of course, as he doesn't want his team members to get hurt. He later falls into the depths and survives via the sail cloth around his shoulders and meets a strange little fox he calls Todd.
I have so many notes in my head about these guys but again, i'll shut up for now :] here are the heights!
Tumblr media
btw; they're all based on a previous incarnation of link and a got character, if you figure it out I'll shake ur hand.

hihihihiihiihhi i saw your reqs open and uh uhm male!reader (he/it if possible!!) x charlie x vaggie?? fluffy but i’d appreciate it if it started a little angsty :D,, also maybe reader has wings if thats ok ^^
Gender : Male
Pronouns used : He/it
Little message of Raccoon : hey hey ! You didn't say if you wanted it to be a one shot or a headcanon, so I write it as a one shot, I hope you don't mind !
TW : Bad english, english isn't my first language. I never know if it's 'Luth' or 'Lute'.
Tumblr media
No, no, that wasn't supposed to happen- you didn't do anything wrong !
"Angel Y/N, you are now banned from the Heaven for helping sinners survive execution." Said Sera, Adam was laughing behind her.
No ! Couldn't they see how false this all sounded ?! They were supposed to be the good ones, the ones who help ! Not the bad guys who exterminate people, who banish people just for helping !
Was he the only one that see how false how all of that is ?!
As the seraph opened the portal to hell, throwing the angel in, he woke up.
"Again that nightmare ?" ask Vaggie, looking at Y/N, who had woken up with a start and a shout of terror.
He didn't answer, not that he need to.
It was a scenario they were accustomed to; Vaggie or Y/N waking up with a start following a nightmare, often linked to their past as an angel, Charlie going to make tea while Y/N and Vaggie stayed in the room, waiting for her.
"It was worst." Y/N said, even if its nightmares were always bad, this one was, in a way, worse than the others. "Adam was here, and Luth too ! Adam was laughing, and Lute- Lute was just watching, disappointed.. And she wasn't even looking at me in the eyes !"
Lute and Y/N, when the latter was an angel, were very close. They were like a big sister and a little brother.
Lute was the first angel he met in Heaven, after St. Peter of course, it was her who taught him the rules of Heaven, who taught him the art of the spear, of fighting..
All of that was just memories now.
Vaggie didn't say anything, just hugging him. She wasn't the best at comforting, it was usually Charlie who was good at that.
They only parted when Charlie came in the room. Charlie gave them both tea before sitting on the bed next to them, tea in hand.
"You want to talk about it ?" ask softly Charlie to the h/c haired.
"It's the same as always." he said after a moment of silence, taking a few sips of its tea before continuing.. "Sera banning me from the Heaven for having helped somes devils.. But that time, Adam and Lute was here too." He was calm now, well, more calm than before.
"Oh.." said Charlie, she didn't know Lute as much as Y/N or Vaggie did. She only know that she was like Y/N's sister. "And did she say something ?" she asked, hoping she wasn't asking too much.
"She didn't talk. She didn't even look at me in the eyes.. But I could tell that she was disappointed.." said the boy, drinking his tea.
Okay, that was bad. She looked at Vaggie, mentally wondering what to do.
"Well.. What do you think of going to that restaurant you talked about last time ?" ask Vaggie, not really sure of that idea.
"At 6 AM ?" ask the h/c haired.
"We can go there at noon and do what Angel called a, uh, morning off ?” Charlie suggested.
"That sound good, I supposed." said the h/c haired.
Charlie gave one of her many characteristic smiles before quickly finishing her tea, Vaggie quietly finishing it in silence, happy that the calm of the morning was coming, one way or another.
<----->
I suck at writing Vaggie and Charlie. I will try to learn how to write them. Not proofread.

So I wanted to wait and let the new Bad Batch trailer sink in before posting about it.
Warnings: Spoilers, some thoughts/opinions will be critical
Alright so I don’t think it’s any secret that I don’t care for the Bad Batch. Even ignoring the horrible, incredibly RACIST clone model, the writing is mid/passable at best and not even watchable for me. Most of S1 and 2 combined is the typical ‘mission of the week’ type of story where only a few Empire-focused episodes stand out. There are also instances of ableism concerning Echo in particular (CF99 are also super dismissive of him in general—going along with that whole fucking ‘superiority over regs’ thing—seriously wtf).
Most episodes were very bland and predictable. S1 had no stakes despite its finale. By Mando/ST it’s clear that something has happened to Kamino. Didn’t really need to see a 2pt ep of the city getting wiped. Plus AZI should’ve been sacrificed. Even Ahsoka learns the lesson that you can’t save everyone in S1 when she disobeys Anakin and Admiral Yularen. TBB S2 had no character development from anyone besides a little bit for Omega (and Tech—but that was always speculated by fans since S1 and he’s dead now so it doesn’t really matter). A lot of the dialogue felt…basic. I think the only thing that TBB does well is the music. It’s really amazing and beautiful along with the smooth, crisp animation/scenery. Shame they ruined it with racist clone models, racist tones with the ‘reg’ dispute in both seasons, and being ableist and dismissive towards Echo.
Which brings me to the trailer. Oh boy. First, right off the bat I noticed how similar the trailer opening is compared to the S2 trailer. I do like that Phee is back. She did take time to grow on me but I do like her character and am curious to see where they will go with her.
It’s interesting we are seeing Crosshair back with the group so soon. Personally I do believe that is Crosshair and not just someone else wearing his armor like some think. I like the idea of Omega and Crosshair escaping early on but Omega gets recaptured/separated and taken back to Tantiss.
I’m interested in Hemlock and his backstory (is his gloved hand robotic?). I wish they’d create more interesting and unique characters like Phee and Fennec Shand instead of relying on cameos of established characters/fan-favorites like Ventress. I loved Dark Disciple and I thought it was a great ending for her.
I know it’s officially said that Ventress’ story will follow Dark Disciple but I don’t see how unless they retcon her death or pull a ‘somehow she survived’. Either way that sucks. Reminder!! DAVE FELONY DIDN’T EVEN FOLLOW REBELS FOR AHSOKA. SABINE IS NOT FORCE SENSITIVE IN REBELS. DAVE RETCONS THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYTHING. I have no faith that they will remain loyal to DD. Anything that will be ‘canon’ will be mid at best because even Crosshair’s arc has been messy (which is due to the weird S1 ‘reset’ the characters go through. Like they totally should’ve appreciated ‘regs’ by the end of TBB arc in TCW S7–there was no need for that awkward food fight scene in S1).
I hate that this show has to rely on cameos to get the viewing numbers. Here is a list of every character cameo we’ve seen so far:
—Rex*
—Tarkin*
—Palpatine*
—The Lawquane Family
—The Syndullas/Chopper
—Nala Se/Lama Su*
—Cad Bane
—Bail Organa
—Riyo Chuchi
—Gungi
—Gregor
—Wolffe
—Cody
—Scorch
—Saw Gerrera
—Martez Sisters
—Kanan/Depa*
—Muchi/Rancor from RotJ
—Taun We/Halle Burtoni
—Ventress
*I consider these important/relevant cameos and am not bothered by them like the others*
What a list right? I might even be missing one. These were just off the top of my head. Some are big players, others smaller and almost not-relevant to the plot. Not counting the one’s I asterisked, it’s 15 characters. There are original characters but a lot of them, especially in S1 felt like one off, not important characters. And I hate Cid so much—glad to see she was absent in the S3 trailer. I’m really starting to love Phee and I’ve always loved Fennec Shand, and Hemlock is definitely an intriguing villain and Emerie feels like a total mystery (though the reveal was not shocking due to the similar design and accent to Omega). Like why can’t they create more characters like these? The rest just feel forgettable. And it’s clear that characters like Saw, Gungi, Scorch, Cad Bane and even the Syndulla and Lawquane families just felt like fan service. The rest kind of make sense that they’d show up but it also feels a bit like fan service.
Moving on..
I know a lot of people think that new weird dark trooper at the 1:40 mark is Tech. While I’m inclined to agree as I think the ‘Winter Soldier’ story is an obvious choice to pick, I also think that Tech is dead. I’ve changed my mind and kind of hope that Tech isn’t brought back.
I hope this is someone new. I also wouldn’t mind if it was a bounty hunter we’ve seen before. Due to the frame and stature, I could almost think of Boba due to him being older than Omega but it’s definitely more likely to be Tech than either of these choices.
It’s interesting a lot of cameo characters from S2 do not make an appearance in the trailer. Bail, Riyo, Gungi, Gregor and Cody are all absent from the trailer. Trailers usually show action shots to avoid story spoilers, but with Gungi, Gregor, and Cody all being capable fighters, I’m surprised they didn’t appear (usually stuff with politics is a story spoiler).
Overall I’m skeptical of the trailer. I don’t like Ventress being alive/in TBB being a Dark Disciple lover. There’s a lot of mystery surrounding the story of S3 so I don’t feel like I can give an accurate take on that. I hate how Omega’s longer hair looks. Curly haired Omega is adorable!! The animation (everything but the clone model) is definitely getting better. However, based on how S2 was marketed as a ‘darker story compared to S1’ and was like 80% fetch quest I’m definitely skeptical.
Those of you that made it through this post, thank you for your time and I hope I gave you something to think about. If you wanna learn more about the racism and ableism portrayed in this show, check out @unwhitewashthebadbatch for more info.

Who’s going to die in s5 and does anyone even need to die?
putting my thoughts on this out there now because i'm curious how they will hold up with s5 canon or if the characters that i think are narratively untouchable will bite it in the opening
because objectively, no, no one needs to die. not every story needs to kill off major characters to be "dramatic". strangers things has even gone out of it's way to avoid doing that since it’s first season. the characters that Do die are always ones that were introduced in the same season with the specific purpose of dying. Barb, Alexei, Eddie, all the vecna victims
they even skirt killing main characters, like how Eddie in s4 seems to be the placeholder for Steve since they didn’t want to kill him yet. there’s also interviews saying they wanted to kill him in s1 or 2 but then didn’t because they liked his character and wanted to keep him in the story. (also a fan favourite character too yk). similarly El was also supposed to die in s1, but even before st becomes a multi season show it's implied she’s alive right in the last minutes of s1
so while St sure loves killing people (see just how many people died in lab massacre 1 in 1979, lab massacre 2 in 1984, and the flesh flayer human meat incident) you’re pretty save as long as you’re a main character and survived your first season on the show
so s5 continuing with that and not killing any main characters is definitely an option, they don't need to kill. no matter how much the audience is waiting for "stakes" to be set, not every story needs to kill it's characters
on the other hand, there’s also a lot that suggests they might kill someone for real this time. challenging the perceived safety of main characters in the last season with a world ending stakes set up in s4 seems reasonable. there’s also the more theoretical perspective that we're in the final season now and there’s no coming back for any of these characters anyway, no matter if they live or die. the logic of making it to the next season that saved some of their asses before no longer applies
it would also make sense and not be uncommon for a story to kill someone important during the final installment to make it apparent how BadTM it is. most of the audience is also aware by now that the show isn't killing long running mains so changing that rule would serve the final season well (especially if it happened before the last 2 episodes and put people more on edge for the finale, now that mains apparently aren't completely invincible anymore)
so leading up to s5, I really think the chance of them killing at least one major character for real this time is the highest it’s ever been. the question would just be, who? and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone agree on this ever so I just want to go it over myself, get my thoughts on this out pre s5 spoilers rolling in. trying to evaluate how solid a build up for a death would be
going over various characters under the cut
there’s obviously some side characters that could reasonable die but I think would be the weakest choices, if not an outright joke at an attempt of “emotional impact” on the story
for example, they could kill Murray, there’s really nothing stopping them, but it wouldn’t be a very impactful death. the only one who has a real connection with him is Joyce. if they wanted to kill more than one character I can see them going for it, especially if they killed Murray earlier and had a bigger character die towards the end of the season. but otherwise, if he’s the only one dying it’d be funnily underwhelming. this also goes for Dimitri (depending on if he will be back for s5). easy to kill but would suck phenomenally as the only death
same for characters like Vicky and Argyle, who are both incredibly new characters so killing them would be very underwhelming. here with the added aspect of them both being minorities, and while you can obviously kill minority characters just fine, if they were the only characters dying it would look pretty bad compared to the 90% white and het cast that’d be alive. killing Vicky with her ongoing romance plot where they need to establish an entire relationship first would also be obviously stupid
moving to main and secondary characters of the show that have more significance. secondaries like:
Robin, who like Vicky and Argyle, would also be a weak choice. killing her at the end of her romance arc set up for s5 would be extremely unsatisfying in a way that doesn’t fit any of the shows themes. also again, killing just her would look horrible, and even if two people died, she’s been the public queer rep of the show before they officially had Will too post s4, would be kind of an insane choice to kill her
Steve on the other hand has much more merit to him. he’s the character we know the Duffers wanted to kill years ago and only held back due to the actors charisma and potential they saw for his story. and both of these points would be moot in a final season of the show. there’s also been enough foreshadowing of a death that would stand out on a rewatch and make it feel more planned. like the funnily long handshake he and Dustin have in s3 including Dustin stabbing Steve and him “dying”. killing him would also work to impact a significant number of characters as well as the audience since he IS a fan favourite. on the other hand, it would be a bit questionable to kill the other "guy that's close with Dustin" right after he had Eddie die on him. Eddie was a pretty clear place holder for Steve in s4, so killing Steve the season after wouldn’t be very different from a storytelling pov. but I could see them go for it, easy death, enough set up, potential to be upsetting, not whole show-vibe ruining
because compared to that, Hopper is someone I honestly don’t see dying at all. he not only had a full fake out death, the whole of s4 russia arc was about getting him back alive. if they just kill him anyways most of s4 will feel pretty pointless, especially after he’s Just at the point where he might see that he isn’t a curse on all the people around him. killing him would negatively impact his character growth AND fall flat with him already having died and come back right after. killing him fr right after he came back would honestly just be really funny, like, i don't know how serious people would even take it, i'd just expect him to come back again tbh
Joyce… is just kind of out there. killing her off would be brutal with how central of a character she is. her and Mike really were the two plot leading characters all the way back in s1 and her character seems to be a bit of a face of ST alongside with characters like El. it would also be rough on Will and Jonathan, like, character altered forever rough, so if she died these characters would have to change drastically. which would need her death to happen before the last two episodes if they wanted to do it justice. and killing her that early on would also feel odd with how much she’s a part of the core story. and of course there’s the whole deal with her just having gotten together with Hopper which should at least give her a few episodes of protection to explore that. overall, I think they could do it, but they would have to be insanely careful to pull it off well and I’m not sure it’s something they’d go for or something that's even possible to do well with only 8-9 episodes
Jonathan is someone a lot of people seem to think could die, but I also feel like a that idea comes from general lack of interest in his character. he Could die, yeah, it would also be interesting how characters dealt with it, but just like with Joyce, killing him off in the last episode would very much feel like a cheap kill for shock value since the strongest aspect of killing a character like him would be seeing the ripples it has over the story. and killing him would also put an extremely tragic end to his character arc which he hasn’t finished yet. he’s constantly parentified, steps back in favour of other people, he still couldn’t tell Nancy he wants something different than her for college, and so on. his s5 arc would have to focus more on his own growth over the series and accepting himself and his worth, so dying would be insanely tragic for him. again I feel like they Could do it, but it’s questionable if they’d be able to do it justice and not make it feel like his character is from a Shakespearean tragedy while everyone else is from a different genre
Just on reflex, Nancy is someone I don’t see dying. killing her would be really bold. all with her being one of the few women, and a character that's always been near the center of the story, and with her being the deciding party in the middle of a love triangle. but on the other hand, I could see some merit in killing her. she was the main leader in s4 and arguably already had her moment to shine when she shot Vecna (even if they still lost, it was arguably the most epically framed “win” moment of the season). she also finally got some closure on Barb’s death, ie. knowing Vecna killed her. you could also definitely argue that it would be interesting if Nancy was the one to ultimately die instead of the vision where she saw her mom, Holly, and Mike, dead (or implied to be dead, she doesn't say the word). so the longer I think about it, the more I could see a positive impact on the story. but it'd still be rough, and it would mean upsetting both Jancy and Stancy shippers by having neither have a happy ending, which, actually, would be kind of interesting, but I’m not sure the Duffers would go for
and then there’s of course the kids where it gets really hard imo. both based on the tone of ST and how it would be insanely dark
Erica is just someone I genuinely don’t think they can kill, ever. she’s the absolute youngest, also one of their 3 poc characters. don’t see any reality where she dies. they already didn't handle her character particularly well since her introduction so, no way they're insane enough to kill her
similar to my point about Hopper earlier, I also don’t see Max dying at all. she almost died in s4 during her initial encounter with Vecna, barely survived, and then got got for real and was dead pre El reviving her. her dying for real in s5 wouldn’t hit particularly hard anymore after she starts the season lost in some variation of a coma. her s5 arc already has to be about finding her, and presumably her dealing with the trauma of waking up. also whatever role she plays in the season, since we don’t know how many episodes it'll take before we can get her thoughts and actions again. killing her at the end would be kind of repetitive and absolutely fuck her character arc over since she just realized how badly she wanted to live regardless of her depression
El's character would also not have any benefit from dying, it would actively cut her character arc short, which has been a central point of every season up to now. her whole deal is learning that she’s not a monster that’s responsible for everything and figuring out who she actually wants to be as a person that can make her own decisions. her ending the series dying or sacrificing herself like so many people seem to think she will would be very weak writing imo. having her finally reach a point in s5 where she's free of Brenner, and guilt over what happened, and her het relationship with her boyfriend who doesn’t love her, and finally starts to realize who she wants to be, only to have her make the decision to die for the people she loves would just suck. it’d be compelling... if ST was a drama story and trying to tell a story of hopelessness. which is not at all what ST has been up until now and is also not what anyone involved has said s5 to be
Will is also unkillable without completely breaking the genre of the show. people are right that him dying in s5 would be full circle to s1. and showing the inevitability of the UD killing him after all and how he couldn’t get away would be fun sure, but it’s not stranger things. aside from actors already having said Will gets some form of happy ending, killing him just wouldn’t work. everyone was trying to get him back alive all the way back in s1. him eventually dying after all is a cool concept in theory, but it doesn’t work with the show at all
Mike is also hard to kill. with Byler happening, it would be insane to kill either of the two parties right after having them get together or confirm each other’s feelings. Mike is one of the characters with the most consistent allusions to something bad happening, especially in s4, with the whole set up of “hasn’t unpacked yet”, jaws poster, “death count is going to rise”, and Nancy’s whole vision about him presumably dying, but it’s much more likely he just won’t have a good time in s5, not die. he already had a fake out death as far back as s1 with the cliff, so if they want the show to go “full circle” they could just have him almost die again, or have someone Think he died for a bit. perma killing him just doesn't work with the mleven to byler arc they set up for s5
Lucas doesn’t have any death flags and there would be no benefit in killing him. killing Will for example would at least be interesting on a meta writing level if you disregard the genre of the show, but killing Lucas would just… feel insanely unjust, he's just a kid who already went through writing fuckery in s4. he also almost lost Max, and his s5 arc seems to be very focused on her and helping her. killing him off right after Max survived would just be plain bad. do not see Lucas dying in any reality
And Dustin is my "if they had to kill a kid". there Are some lines you could definitely catch on a rewatch post death that would make it feel less out of nowhere, be it the “if you die I die” said to Steve, or Suzie talking about Dustin feeling like it could foreshadow a death. Dustin also doesn’t have the protection someone like Mike has, where he’s in the central gay childhood best friends to lovers plotline
overall, I think Vicky and Argyle are essentially guaranteed to be fine. there’d be not much emotional payoff for the audience and only the killing of the few diverse characters of the cast. Robin would also be hard to kill without making it look weird with her just introduced romantic interest. Hopper and Max are too much “been there done that” to die for real. and the kids dying would at best seriously derail the expectations the show set until now and negatively fuck some of their character arcs over at worst
so. tldr, my thoughts on this: killing Joyce is possible imo, but extremely hard to do justice. similar sentiment about Jonathan, even more so bc it directly conflicts with his character's core struggle. killing Nancy would probably be the most interesting choice to go for, to me, if done well, but it’s something I don’t really see happen in the show. Steve seems like the most likely choice to die since he’d be a pretty easy kill, the audience and a significant amount of characters like him so it would have impact, there’s enough death flags to make it seem foreshadowed… would just work really well. and if any of the kids died it would have to be Dustin imo, even though I’m still of the belief that they won’t touch the kids when it comes to killing characters
also, Murray's just a free kill to me, not impactful enough on the characters to fully derail character arcs but still with the show long enough to be a bit sad to see go. if they’d kill only him it would be a bit wasted because it would feel like a copout of killing an impactful character, but if they want to kill a primary character and make stakes higher by killing someone else, Murray is the easiest to turn to for that, especially if they want someone to die in the earlier episodes
and this is just about the "main" characters (as a broad term here). characters that could also ofc die are other kids parents, police officers we know like Callahan, other side characters like Mr Clarke or the mayor. but most of these would not really have much impact on the story and would pass more as casualties along the way
the Wheelers are a bit of an in-between here, because while none of them get regular main character focus and don’t even know about the UD, they still come back every season on a personal level and have the most solid characterization out of side characters. Karen even has a noteworthy character arc, which none of the other side characters have. Holly will be fine honestly, Ted is really just there, not much screen time, i don't really see much benefit in having him die, if he did it would most likely have to be in passing or in mass casualties. so Karen would be the one I could realistically see be compelling to kill. as a side character I’d put her on a Murray level, where she’s consistently on screen and everyone knows her but she’s not really someone people would be upset for days about
the Murray treatment also goes for someone like Owens btw, where I could easily see him die as a side note (not as the main death). he's been with the show for a while but doesn't have enough impact on the story to really force you to keep him alive. there's for sure info we can still get from him in s5, but after we have a full picture of what happened with El and Henry at the lab and how Owens was involved there's really nothing keeping him alive as a character
and everyone's done, wall of thoughts over!
that’s where I’m at with all the characters as of now, especially from looking at their past arcs up to s4. I’m just really curious how this will hold up with the actual s5. Maybe they’ll just go in bold and kill someone I would have said has a 0 chance of dying right away, who knows who knows

Ok good you've finally seen it. What gets me in atsv (at least the version I watched) Miguel isn't even stated as having and loosing a family BEFORE he just up and leaves for that other dimension. Like dude decided he wanted a different life and a family and went and took up someone else's, instead of starting his own.
I was thinking about this last night and I eventually went back and watched the scene and it's like. Yeah bro you're right they do in fact never specify if he even had a family before
In the comics, he loses his pregnant fiance, and I, assumedly with a bunch of other people, was just kind of assuming that he had the same backstory in ATSV and it was sometime after her death that he tried a second time around. I'm assuming the canon he broke by going to another universe was HIS OWN canon: as a Spider, you are apparently supposed to lose your first love/first crush and move on, but by him jumping ship into another universe, that was breaking the rules (*cough cough* "but what if Miguel realizes being with Reader in his own universe doesn't break canon and he goes apeshit with it" *cough cough*)
But GOD wouldn't it be fucked up if it really was as literal as the way he phrased it. "I found another universe where I was happy" not "I found a universe where my family survived" is kind of sus phrasing. Like yeah bro you technically uh stole the life of a completely different person and helped raise his daughter and presumedly fucked his wife
But one thing a few people have mentioned that kind of took a while to sink in was like. Him losing that second family was RECENT. He didn't form the Spider Society until sometime after Miles became Spiderman, which he's only been wearing the mask for about a year and a half. Peter B was in the flashback where Miguel lost his second family, so like. It's literally been less than two years since Miguel accidentally broke canon. This man has some piping hot FRESH TRAUMA like he's probably still in a stage of grief???
Like I understand he's an antagonist but I'll be legit angry if he becomes like monstrously evil and it becomes "oh no we gotta defeat miguel" in the third movie because his trauma and his actions are completely understandable, like he could be an antagonist but he better not be like Final Boss. Like yeah yeah "he's technically killing people by not letting people break canon" but I mean as far as he's concerned, for all that he knows, what the evidence shows and what he's lead to believe, saving one person could potentially kill an entire universe and destabilize others so like. YEAH it sucks but no one should have to explain the math. Like the man literally had a small child he was helping raise literally vanish in his own arms as she cried "dad help" and people are like "UGH MIGUEL IS EVIL" like bro at the WORST he is obsessed with making up for his sins, dude isn't DELIBERATELY tryna cause shit. Like when you really get into analysis mode you can completely understand why he's so angry at Miles, Miguel was literally chanting "no puedo mas" ie "I can't anymore" at the concept of another hole being torn in the multiverse, like he's literally shouting and throwing shit around because for him it's "oh great here we fucking go, tons and tons of people will die if I don't get this under control, when does it end, how do i fix this"
His line on top of the train really kind of cements it, where he's all "and I'm the only one who's been keeping everything together" because he's not saying that from some source of narcissism, he's BURDENED by this, he's TRAPPED by this, but he feels a responsibility and a duty to make up for what he did. The man is essentially using his role leading the Spider Society as a punishment for breaking canon.
"Miguel is selfish" "Miguel is evil" bro Miguel is literally just one really really bad accident away from straight up killing himself, like tearing his own hair out as he beats his head into a wall. Miguel is like when you're so extremely stressed out that when you dropped your fresh toast on the floor jelly-down you legit contemplated suicide "because why can't even one thing go right for me". This man is hanging on by a thread but like I'm convinced the third movie will have a happy ending because it just. Doesn't feel right if it doesn't? The entire first two movies were about finding your own identity and making your own expectations and I feel like the whole canon event narrative inherently challenges what the movies stand for, so, really interested in seeing how the third movie goes, waiting will fucking kill me, and also with all the articles coming out about ATSV having insane crunch, I have a good feeling Beyond The Spiderverse is gonna be delayed. I kinda like that though because like, idk, do you guys ever get sad when a show or series ends. It's like the journey is over and then you move on and kind of forget about everything. I'm enjoying these movies and these characters and I don't mind marinating with em a little while longer

In honour of Noah getting the first 3 scripts for Season 5, this is my Season 5 bucket list (I may be very early so this is my early one) I’ll try to make it as realistic as possible 😭
- Nancy survives.
This is the number one thing I need to happen, I will not be able to handle it if she dies
- I’m also very much on the side of I want everyone to survive.
Stranger Things is very much about the relationships between all of the characters, and it might not be the main part of the show but it is an important one and it’s what makes Stranger Things so great. I think it would massively suck if they were to kill any of the Hopper-Byers family after everything they’ve been through and Hopper losing anyone would just confirm his theory that he’s a “curse”.
- Ronance hug.
I need this like I need air. Nancy Wheeler needs a hug and I need Robin to be the one to give it to her.
- More Ronance scenes.
I mean obviously I ship Ronance so of course I want more scenes of them together, BUT I also really love their friendship. After Nancy lost Barb, Robin is the first girl she’s befriended that didn’t have romantic intentions and I think their friendship is really something special.
- Nancy to finally get closure with Barb and realise it wasn’t her fault
I realise she kind of got closure in S2, but I don’t think she really did. She clearly still blames herself, and what happened shaped her into who she is today. And we know she never really spoke to anyone about what happened because when she tried to talk to Steve he brushed her off. So I think she needs someone to tell her it wasn’t her fault.
- Nancy/Robin/Jonathan/Steve/Argyle team up.
This would be the team up of the CENTURY.
- Nancy/El scenes
I’ve needed this since S1. I think they’re quite similar in some ways and it’d be so nice to see them have some scenes together
- Jargyle scenes
I mean… they’re literally hilarious together. Imagine Nancy, Robin and Steve having to put up with high Jargyle 😭
- Not St*ncy endgame
Okay. Don’t hate me, and I’m sure this is pretty well known by now but I’m very much anti St*ncy and I’m not even sorry about it. Those two getting back together would feel like ten steps backwards and a dishonour to both of their characters. Steve’s character for the past two seasons has revolved around finding a girlfriend and I think he needs to realise that he doesn’t need a girlfriend and it’s okay to be on your own. It would also be a very misogynistic ending for Nancy. I could talk about this forever but I’ll just leave it at that. 😭
- JOPPER DATE!
Pretty sure David Harbour already confirmed this but I’m so excited to see Jopper in a relationship!!
- Mike being a complete menace to society and Robin getting to experience it
I mean, Robin hasn’t spent much time with Mike yet and I just think him being the little shit he is would be so funny for Robin to witness. I can just imagine her turning to Nancy and saying “You’re related to him?”
- Will/Robin scenes
This is an obvious one, but I think talking to Robin would help Will a LOT. I don’t know how likely it is to happen but I think it’d be really nice for Will to know he’s not on his own.
- LUMAX DATE!
I NEED IT. They arranged it last season and Max DIED so it’s only right they get their date in Season 5!!
- More Erica
Not much to say about this, we all need more Erica.
- More Hopper-Byers family
El finally has a family and somewhere she belongs, Hopper just came back from the dead. I need this family to be happy more than anything.
- If not Byler endgame, I need to see Will accept himself (at least somewhat) and finally be happy.
I like both Mileven and Byler, and honestly my opinion on who should be endgame changes on a daily basis based on the fans lmao. It would be awesome to see Byler endgame, but I would like to see Will accept himself and maybe come out to his mom??
- Nancy & Mike hug.
This has to happen. It has to. And not right before one of them dies either. Give me more Wheeler siblings. Perhaps a parallel to S1 when Nancy rushes out of the Byers to hug Mike but this time Mike rushes to hug Nancy??

those are what you call a cartoon network. at the same time of events happening in the pilot is what you make sense of where the show went first (bar is actually a good place to go if you want to study scenery in politics is how you manifest your goals better), so your visions were taken place in the home of HSJ before her fame looking like a bar, so the interactions there were scripted. now how do you identify that to your body of research (my lessons build up on your fragility in patience in the long run.

Male leaders: position assignment - weakness focused.
how are you that good to establish numbers if you were gone and forgotten as a man in your place cannot do (what will your Adam think of you if you died right now)
2. Male leaders: praise - strength focused.
how are you able to cope with anxiety without an eve, so who is who and if you were to try the 'devil' association, then how are you able to try and look for the 'right woman to kill first openly', what is your tactic in suicide bombing?
Female leaders: position assignment - weakness focused.
if your mother decides to talk to 'your voices' then are you able to cope in a stress filled situation alone, or are you able to cope 'without your men of Hollywood Hills to cope with you', so who is the bigger bitch?
2. Female leaders: praise - strength focused.
okay, now you're menstruating. who is the pregnant man and how will you try and evade his emotional turmoils in your body, is he the one taking you down during sex or are you working too hard to keep 'him' alive, so the solution being present is don't answer my question, you're dead to me either way, now how are you going to marry your father's pussy if you spoke to me that way in person, who is the honorary judge in your theory to speak like that about your lady not being 'alive' to tell that tale online (actual proofs of your 'theory'), so who's the bigger bitch here???? huh?????? are you... okay???????????
son, wake up *slaps*
now that's the bar and HSJ is not into you. shut the fuck up

Hello hello, and happy STS! :D For either of your 'verses (or both!): If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their backs and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
oh my god I love this
For A Rival Most Vial, I'm gonna assume that the trio drops in together:
Ambrose: would be failing at adapting. first off, he looks like he just dropped out of a Ren Faire in his potion master robes. there are no potion shops here. he has no pharmacy or chemistry degree. he'd probably work as a grocery store clerk until he could figure out how to get into school. (I don't think he would survive McDonald's. His potion store customers are far more polite.)
Eli: probably adapting the best. he's good at charismatically getting into jobs, then bouncing around and working his way up. I think if he landed somewhere where adventure-y seasonal work is available (like kayaking guide or hiking guide), he'd do really well. but he'd really miss his family. :(
Dawn: socially, she'd be better at adapting, but would be really frustrated that she has to go back to school in order to get an engineering degree, so she can resume blowing stuff up in an orderly fashion. (she would survive mcdonalds if needed, but lord, at what cost?)
also i petition that I stuff them all in my guest room and feed them hot cocoa and waffles until they adjust

Hello and happy STS! :D This would be especially hilarious for The Astral Chronicles, but feel free to choose which WIP you inflict this question onto. ;) If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
Oh my god this question is great
The funny thing about this for Astral is that I actually have a half-canon storyline where this actually happens. And considering Aiden is from our world, the answer ends up being "find Aiden and enlist his help in getting back to Astral"
If they're tossed into our world with no way of getting back tho, hmm... Rose would be doing her best to adapt, but also be having several breakdowns of "oh god I left my brother behind D:". Jared would absolutely get fired from most minimum wage jobs because he has a problem with authority, but he also has the energy of "will scavenge garbage cans if that's what it takes."
Will and Finn would be the ones to end up working at a McDonald's, as an "ok, this is what we have to do to survive I guess." There would definitely be a lot of I'm so done with this shit looks happening between them though. Customer service yo *jazz hands*
I also thought of Space Pirates for this question, because there's a lot more differences between that world and ours and it's very entertaining, so here goes:
Reizora, Artemis, and Deva adapt the best. Reizora spends the first hour or so straight up crying because Artemis has her body back, then she kicks Artemis onto bed rest and starts figuring out how the hell to make sure she and her crew survive this new world.
The answer is basically the same way they survived their world: Robin-Hood-type piracy XD They'd end up with a reputation for fucking with corporations and helping out the local community of wherever they end up.
Artemis would accept the bed rest mandate for maybe a week before she gets tired of Reizora's overprotectiveness and insists on joining the shenanigans. There are things she misses about her old world, but she can't deny she likes having a body again and seeing that associated guilt lifted from Reizora.
Syl (the Medic, alien with many tentacles) and the Engineer (unnamed so far, round and fluffy with many arms) are both annoyed with their lack of appendages. The Engineer will use her mouth and feet to hold things instead.
Aeryz has the hardest time adapting. She has a hard time adjusting to the fact she can't shapeshift anymore, she hates not being amongst the stars, and depending on where they all end up, she might not even be able to see them. She really just wants to go home :(
As for the Imperial kids, I think it would be really funny for Caelan and Rossano to be working at McDonald's in this scenario. I just have this image of Rossano as a wannabe influencer who's always like "I'm gonna quit the second I get enough followers, just you wait." Meanwhile Caelan is just like "ya know what? This is 10 million times less stressful than the rest of my life has been. I'm content staying here forever."

hello hello!
been a minute since i popped in here (i think? maybe not that long since my tron thoughts lmao but it feels like a month cuz ✨stress✨)
how’ve you been? i’ve been… surviving 😅
sleep token presale was possibly one of the most stressful days of my life. but i secured a ticket! and it’s pit! i get to try to look at iii again and redeem myself from my first ritual lmao
i’ve also been mad stressed about school, i have a debate on tuesday and lowkey forgot how triggering public speaking is?? so that’s fun. think i’ve got it together and can get it done so that’s okay i guess lol
but! (i’m assuming it’s from the mild stress relief i got yesterday lol) i had another sleep token dream! i cannot remember much of it, and i do not know what the context was but vessel unmasked? he looked different than my fun cult dream, but still 😮‍💨 the funny thing is that dream me was still focused on his mouth even though i already knew what that looked like lmao. apparently i just like mouths😂🙈
but yeah. kinda glad to have them back in my unconscious mind, it feels dumb but it’s lowkey comforting lol
hope you have a good day!
hihi Exie! it does feel like its been awhile, haha.
I too am surviving at the moment, I had a painful day yesterday, and my anxiety has been through the roof, oof. But I get to relax today, hopefully. I need to relax today, so maybe the tension headache will go away, and I won't get a migraine again.
I'm super excited for you!! about tickets!! I'm honestly a bit ok with not even trying to get any this time. I hope there will be a next time, and I'll have the money to go, but dang. It seems like it was a bloodbath for tickets in the US. I think there might still be St. Louis tickets?? but I'm not even gonna look, oof.
I saw your post yesterday about college stress, dang that sucks, and I wish you didn't have to go through it, goodness knows I hated just the little speaking things I had to do for my high school classes. Give yourself a little, like.... reward for doing it. Not even doing it 'well' just have a little something to look forward to after haha. You deserve it.
I haven't had a sleep token dream in a while either, i told you of the last one, but honestly? I think I like the casual ones better than the ones with huge plots haha. No stress, just chill. Glad you got to have one! Also, mood, i too would probably be focused on his mouth 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣.

oh my god aqua this one's going to be amazing for you but HELLO HAPPY STS. 8) If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
Haha, thought you'd get a kick out of asking about my characters. Let's concentrate on the 'Main Cast', so to speak, for this one. So Selene, Edwin, Meredith and Yoruk. Putting the rest under a readmore because this is going to get long. I am assuming that all four end up in the UK to make things easier on my brain.
Selene: She would almost certainly struggle with the idea that there's absolutely no magic in our world whatsoever since she relies on it so heavily. As she's already human, that won't be so much of an issue, but the culture shock would almost certainly get to her. I think she would be the quickest to adapt to the idea of technology though and would marvel at the ways we manage without magic. She would almost certainly find the nearest library to get an idea of how the world functions and try to get a job in one so she could survive. Once she got fully on her feet, she might go to university to study the sciences and get a job involved in that in some way. As for her connection to her familiar.... It is very lucky that Chrackle is a magpie and can speak in a limited sense already. This means the two of them can still communicate to a limited degree, but they would be extremely hampered by the lack of empathic/telepathic connection and they'd struggle a tonne with it. On the plus side, Selene can probably get away with getting him registered as an emotional support animal if she can find some way to prove that he's not just a random wild magpie she picked up from somewhere. Magpies are extremely common in large parts of the UK now so....
Edwin: Again, since he's already human, that part won't be an issue. He wouldn't struggle with the lack of magic quite so much, though he would miss the ability to easily heal minor ailments. He would be utterly horrified at the way we treat nature though and would be the first to get involved in the activism circuit surrounding that. He'd also severely miss the ability to randomly talk to animals and plants; he might keep trying anyway because you never know. As to how he'd survive... I think he'd eventually try to go to college to become a nurse because he would not be able to stop himself from wanting to help and heal people.
Meredith: As a dwarf, my dearest Merri would struggle with the idea of no longer having a beard at all. She is not bothered by the fact that human women don't have beards generally, but suddenly being bereft of one herself would be the biggest hurdle to get over. She'd also need to adjust to suddenly being a lot taller than she currently is, though probably still very short by human standards. Another big struggle would be the lack of intimate connection to Moradin. Assuming she did manage to adjust to all that with her sanity intact; Merri is another one that would likely try to work out how to best get into a job that helps people. Given her background as a cleric, it's very likely she would get into something like social work as she at least had some training in similar work back on Titan.
Yoruk: Would adjust to everything a lot more easily than his wife. He's already pretty tall by dwarven standards and is likely to only be, at most, a foot taller than he already is, and he won't have to deal with losing his beard. The culture shock would be real though because all the institutions he's used to are just not present in our world. He's probably the most likely out of the entire group to get a job at a McDonald's, at least until he works out what kind of work he would best be suited for while he's here because he is incredibly pragmatic and would realise very quickly that he'd need some sort of income while everyone adjusted to their new circumstances. I think he'd go for some sort of professional security job in the end because the idea of our modern police force (even in the UK) wouldn't sit too well with him due to the types of oaths and vows he took as a Paladin.
Thanks for the ask, it was a lot of fun to try and work out how any of my lot would manage. To be fair, they'd probably all need copious amounts of therapy to adjust (and in the case of the girls and Yoruk, to work through all the ptsd they've accumulated because their world, in comparison to ours, is horrifying), but that was probably a given ^_^;

Hello hello, and happy STS! :D For a WIP of your choice: If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
Ooh, this is actually a really fun question!! Thanks for sending it my way! I'm going to answer for Call of Shadows.
Dorian would honestly be relieved to not have his powers or his status, as both of those things have really only brought him harm in the past. He loves learning new things, so though the adjustment would be a big one, after the initial shock, I think he'd like exploring and learning about our world. I've said before that maybe he would be a professor or something in our world, so I can totally see him going to college. (Which would probably also make him the person working at McDonald's, not gonna lie.)
Ashlin would probably be a little worse off than Dorian. She's a talented thief, but her ways aren't going to work in the age of modern home security and credit cards. Also, they would not be a fan of cities, and how they are now, because in her world, even the biggest city has less than 100,000-ish people. They would probably pickpocket people for a while, since that's what they grew up doing, and it's what she knows best. But that would only work for so long.
Theo would absolutely hate our world. They're autistic, and everything about our world is incredibly overstimulating, even if you've grown up here, let alone being transported here from a house in the woods on the outskirts of a tiny, tiny village. They would definitely be very, very overwhelmed, and it would take them a very long time to feel even somewhat adjusted. Also, for them, their magic is a very important part of them, and they would feel kind of lost without it, at least at first. They would definitely want to live as far out in the middle of nowhere as possible.

Hello and happy STS, Cryptic! :D This is for a WIP of your choice (though as a light suggestion, given the content of this question, Hell's Casino would be hilarious here): If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
I can not even begin to describe the absolute joy this ask has brought me! The Devil is a Part-Timer is one of my absolute favorite animes and as such, I don't think I can resist the urge to talk about this for multiple WIPs. This is probably going to get long as I ramble on in my excitement, so I'm going to be nice and put a read more here
So, Hell's Casino is honestly pretty easy because my partner once pointed out that The Demon, Sainsevalurius, is kind of a demon Ariel! Hector is from our world, so he would fall into it pretty well, but if they were working together, he'd have to put Sainsevalurius on a child leash or he would lose this little human culture obsessed idiot demon. And that's not to say that Sainsevalurius couldn't take care of himself. He's been finding ways to survive amongst much more traditionally stronger demons for quite some time. However, he would forget that he's lost his powers sometimes and end up lost, and possibly hurt. If he were alone, however, he would definitely get into a lot of trouble. He could hold a job pretty well though and would likely be more than happy to end up at McDonald's. He would absolutely play mind games with rude customers though.
On the Cross Over front, much like Hector, Agent is from a world too similar to ours to have much trouble. Mortimer and Michael, though, would both be interesting. Mortimer would have to have a human face instead of a radio head which would be its own adjustment. First of all, eyes are not a thing he has or wants to have. He would likely need a lot of time to adjust to having senses like sight and smell, only to then have to grapple with the loss of his steampunk style of technology. For him it would just be blow after blow to what he's used to, leaving him sitting at home and trying desperately to catch up constantly. Meanwhile, Michael used to be an adventurer. He is very much adaptable and loves nothing more than to help. He would absolutely end up happily working at McDonald's so that they could eat, but he would also be every staff member there's favorite coworker. If you've ever seen the comic panel of Superman, in his Clark Kent disguise, smiling politely at someone as they realize that shaking his hand hurts, that's Michael at rude customers. So overly polite, but exuding an aura of "Knock that shit off"
And now, I haven't talked much about the characters I'm about to mention, but I have to address them. In a recent snippet, I revealed Alastor and Asterius. I don't have a name for their story, and really it's only Alastor's story, but. This kind of IS the plot of Alastor's story. Alastor tore his own world apart to remake it to be "better", then couldn't put it back together. I haven't decided what kind of world Alastor ends up in. I keep going back and forth between a world that also has magic, but that he can't use or a modern day our world type world. However, I do know that in a world like ours, he would struggle constantly, always be miserable, and curse every god his world had had to offer.
Asterius, on the other hand, would welcome the lack of magic, having believed all his life that he would be the one to tear their world apart and leave it in shambles. The poor boy would probably cry upon being told that the magic of the prophecy he felt bound by is nothing more than superstition and he could find work pretty easily considering their parents were farmers before their birth. He's quiet and shy, but he would do good work. He'd get overwhelmed somewhere like McDonald's but he would be more than happy to just do farm work for the rest of his life.

Hello and happy STS! :D Dropping by because you reblogged that one post about the fantastic STS question, soooo: If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?
I'm just going to use Dragon's Daughter for this although I'm sure I could come up with a variety of answers.
First of all, we have to get this out of the way, Patrice would get arrested. She would probably get arrested so fast that it would count as some kind of isekai world record. There is absolutely no way that she would not get arrested almost immediately just because of her attitude. The only reason that she doesn't get in trouble already is the fact that most people are too afraid of her. If she was actually just human like everybody else…all bets are off.
Errys is probably the most capable person of surviving because she's very levelheaded and hard-working. She would figure it out, and honestly I think she would really enjoy having a life where so many paths are open to her because she wouldn't be hampered by her family status anymore. She really likes physical activity though so a desk job probably isn't for her. I can honestly see her still doing something with her hands like construction, landscaping, or possibly something like being a mechanic.
Oliver would figure out some way to go to college and get an absolutely useless degree and just be Johan's trophy husband. This is not far off from where he is actually headed anyway.
Johan would also go to college but unlike Oliver, he would get a much more practical degree. Honestly I could see him going for something like a law degree, or maybe a business degree. In the end he is still a regional Lord of a kind, and I think his head for governing would probably take over and maybe he'd be a mayor somewhere.
Rothert would be on social media, no question about it. He loves attention more than anything. Although he takes his job seriously when he has to, if he could make a job out of just being charming and flirtatious and handsome he absolutely would. Imagining him as a streamer or something is also so funny to me.
Felisjyta would end up working at McDonald's. Not because she's any less capable than the rest of them but she is markedly less ambitious than most of them and mostly just wants a calm life that allows her to do as she pleases. Therefore I could see her holding a variety of temporary jobs whenever she needs money and probably doing the vanlife thing the rest of the time.

OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST QUESTION AND I'M SORRY I DIDN'T GET AROUND TO IT EARLIER!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so I'm thinking like, the Dalion family as a whole because I feel like that would be the most chaotic. Not gonna analyze every single one of them bc there are. a lot. but that's the gist of it.
Jamos would have a lot of trouble coming to terms with not being someone in power and being seen as just some guy
Laedir would probably have a bit of a breakdown at first but as long as he's got his family with him he'd get used to it and find a way to make things work
(and probably would actually thrive a lot more here ngl. Therapy?? Hello???)
I think Jerod would actually be the one to scout out the general area and figure out stuff from the people who live there
He'd probably go "well, fake it til you make it" and just pretend to the best of his ability that he does in fact know where he is and everything is perfectly normal thanks very much I was definitely born in this world and this century *dying inside*
Obsesses over maps though
Would want to know everything
Gevin would do drugs
Not even kidding he'd cope by trying to find all the many ways to piss off his dad and be Edgy in a different world so he'd mayyybe also end up starting a gang
Or an emo rock band, one of the two
Keep him away from spraypaint
I don't think Ciaran would really care at all so long as he doesn't have to live in a city
I think Bronwyn would be so relieved at the amount of options young women have compared to where she's from
She'd probably try to go to college immediately
(Which would require...a *lot* of work seeing as she's literally not from this world and has no money or knowledge)
Esme would try a goth look just because she can
Nurei would test out different aesthetics on her to see what kind of look would be the best on them in this new world (to Esme's extreme reluctance)
She'd probably also try to start a makeup Youtube channel once she figures out what either of those things are
LOVES cottagecore
I think Nurei and her mom would be the ones to actually figure things out at the beginning, find them some kind of place to live and manage to get money somehow
...I think Cassian would end up at McDonalds lol
And he'd have so much fun honestly. He's make it a competition no one asked for to try to whip up the best burger anyone's ever seen
Also he's good at being loud
Quinnton would get really into sports, he likes the strategy aspects of it and just getting to be a littttle violent without an actual battle going on
....whoops I did the whole family like I said I wouldn't do
