the way that diff languages sound r so fascinating they're all different and all so vivid

I wish I knew more about music or like how to talk about it in depth because the tsp soundtrack literally makes me feel so many emotions and I don’t even have the words to express why it makes my heart claw out of my chest (major rambling in the tags lol)

DOES SO WELL AT CONVEYING THE EMPTY LONELY WASTELAND THAT WAS ONCE THE MEMORY ZONE……#like it’s not chipper or upbeat like how it usually is #it’s empty. it’s lonely. it’s looking for something.#<- AND MAYBE ITS A REACH BUT. it sounds eerily close to the freedom ending track #the way it opens at least has that same sort of tone but just the beginning parts #and like. idk if that’s just me feeling that way but. I AM THINKING ABOUT IT.#also a very fun neat one but the bottom of the kind control facility song-#-having a cute simple version of it playing in the background of the bucket version of that ending #idk it’s just so fun I love it. So I wrote this next song a few days before my nineteenth birthday. And, um, back then, I was so terrified of change, and I was especially afraid of growing up. And I'd, like, cry at all my birthday parties as a child. Very, very emo.

Now that I'm 21, I don't feel afraid of growing up at all. In fact, I'm really, really looking forward to it. And, um, if I could give any advice to the 18-year-old girl who wrote this song, I'd tell her not to worry so much, and that she has no idea how many magical, magical things are waiting just around the corner for her. ooooooh I love the vibes of this song, it's really quite upbeat for how the title would suggest too

it kinda gave me the vibes of someone dancing in the moonlight? and overall it felt like it fit wars the most to me, so I decided to run with it in this!!

“Wars? Where are we going? I thought we were settling down for the night.”

“Come on dearest, I know you aren’t that tired to settle down this early.”

What is he planning right now, smiling like a dork and dragging me out into the middle of nowhere as the sun sets? With how he’s been acting the whole day, anyone would've thought he’d be the most eager to go to sleep. Then again maybe being in his own Hyrule has given him some extra energy.

“We’re almost there I promise.”

A clearing by the river, what on earth - in hyrule is he planning. He’s clearly got something in mind if all the grumbling he was doing earlier wasn’t about getting to bed like we all thought it was. Maybe it’s something to do with why time and legend were teasing him so much today, or well time seeing how much legend teases him anyway.

“Finally, you’ve no idea how long I’ve been waiting to do something like this”

“Like wha-at!?”

“To have a place to dance. Hopefully soon I won’t have to chase the stars for this though.”

I’m sure that any moment they’ll be trying to pull us away from this, when the chain can find us that is. But for now I’ll just hold on to him as he leads. Just being able to take in his boyish grin as he lets loose for the first time in who knows how long? As he’s taking the time to feel himself in the rhythm he’s leading us both too, I don’t think I could have fallen more than now.

I can't believe that Krypto is going to be on the big screen! I also heard that he is absolutely not a survivor of Krypton. My guess is that he is a result of Lex's early stage genetic experimentation with stolen Superman DNA. He's certainly not above illegal animal testing. That could pave the way for Conner to be brought to the big screen down the road.

can we just appreciate how absolutely gorgeous Metropolis looked like in this movie?? Honestly my fav modern depiction of the city so far. If only the kitten was a bespoke reference to Double Stuff,,, J'onn's beloved pet cat, but alas. J'onn's not in this movie,, sigh!!

Oh right James Gunn's universe uh. It's definitely a dog. That Krypto design looks like the version in the comics where it's just a dog that happens to be named Krypto (who ends up with Superboy at some point)- but it's not. Because Gunn's Krypto has powers so um. Yeah I don't have enough eggs in the basket to really care about what's done to Krypto if I'm honest.

The idea of him being another clone experiment isn't gonna help the way Superfam already feels like it has redundancy in origin and the way each member is characterized. So I hope they don't do that. My expectations have been lowered plenty by now, though.

#&juliet #had the absolute luck of watching this live the other night and it was. truly amazing!!! aaah #rough character designs for the younger leads (excluding like the Grown adult duos..) because?? idk #this is how it always starts. once the character designs start getting simplified like this that's when it all begins #which is hmmm timing but i really can't shut up about this musical it was so so fun. absolute vibes and energy #made me laugh and cry and was such an Experience. i adore them all but may specifically made me sob at some parts dfjkldfh #lots of thoughts! but one of the favs is how they wrote it so the existing songs and actions fit so well.#like in a rhyming bit they had frankie accept a drink and then the song was like ''drink in hand'' and i was all !!!!!!#also maybe it's local censorship? but there wasn't the kisses.. they replaced it w kissing hands and then holding hands #which is like a cute nod to the ''hand to hand holy palmers kiss' or smth but also maybe two guys doing that would not have made it past :/#oh my god i. the way rnj parallels the shakespeare duo... whdskjfhgh. may + not being a Girl kdjhgf. frankie and may. aaagh.#angelique being so so badass. i . the speech about Gender by anne and the Proposal by angelique both made the whole theatre cheer love that #also rotating stage lives in my mind rent free i ADORE the set holy moly.. also also the actors were so good. also the Projections.#also the music and costumes and special effects and aerial moments. and the ensemble. and the choreo #also the cast is so talented. and pretty. and the whole confidence part vs the vulnerability of some bits... whshjfgjkl. hhh #im just listing stuff now but it was so vibes. what an experience ever. it's also shot me directly into 14-years-old again so #spent the morning alone vibing to the soundtrack intensely... i just... sometimes things hold special places in your heart idk!!!#i don't know what to do with these designs though... like the show is such a lovely Spectacle but also idk where to branch out by myself no #there's so much to Absorb again and again. i get the feeling any true work from this i would do in a form of an animatic though.. oops #tldr? 1. &juliet very good just as itself 2. we have History 3. i got to see it live which always propels me into bonkers over musicals!#so so rough but i needed to get smth out and . whatever. an art blog is an art blog. back to hiatus now i think #<reminder to myself: this is essentially an artchive.. there's no quality control if you don't want it! have fun!! ily>

actually stunned by how gay The Beatles has been all this time and I just never knew

#like its always just been there in my life but i just never paid attention #my university roomie was obsessed w them and had several beatles posters that i looked at every day #so stuff like the pictures of them from the let it be album are like engrained into my brain #and yet i never knew the lore??#nor did i know until recently that they were actually all high school buds nor did i know they wrote their own music #nor that they genuinely basically invented modern bands n using the studio the way they did etc. so all that was very impressive and cool #but THEN on top of that omg the angsty gayness of john and paul #like all i knew previously basically was that john was a thing w yoko ono and paul had a young wife recently #i had at one point heard of people shipping j&p together and was just kinda like wow i guess people will ship anything #I DIDNT KNOW #that they were actually like that cute and that insane together and that their song writing together was like an actual marriage #anywayz the old pictures and videos of them are just like jesus look how they look at each other i dont think it was just being bros #i am sort of in the camp of they prob didn't act on it for real but there was def some insane tension/chemistry going on #and then ofc once youre aware of this their songs take on so many possible meanings outside of just singing about their gfs and wives....#anyways i just have to vent about this somewhere bc im actually shocked at how this has just passed me by all these years #and it definitely was not on my bingo card for 2024 to fixate on the beatles but here we are lol #more proof to me that my ultimate fave trope or wtv is 'besties to enemies when really they actually probably wanted to be lovers'#gets me every time!!!!#whats been fun about this rabbit hole is how just every single one of my expectations has been reversed as well #i went in assuming i would like them best in this order:#(1) george (2) ringo (3) paul and (4) john #i was sure i would hate john i thought he sounded so pretentious and like such a douche #but no actually he is my fave one and it's literally in reverse order for me i find george my least fave #(i like his music and feel bad for how he got ignored in the band but i like him the least)#and then i literally am john paul ringo george in order of faves now #i just love when i get surprised like that idk it keeps me on my toes and keeps things exciting and fresh #and yes john is indeed pretentious and a douche but i didn't know he was also funny and vulnerable and that i like his voice and songs #the most in the bunch almost every time as well #the beatles #p
