She nonchalantly tossed it over a shoulder—right out of one of the open windows of the 'managerial office' and off Grid 086 entirely—before retrieving a strange-looking device, emblazoned with the Rubicon Research Institute's logo, from a nearby shelf. Perhaps... a cappuccino machine? "Guess you just can't beat the Institute..."

So, ironically, as far as I'm concerned, Yoruichi is already canon to Armored Core VI anyway, because she's standing right in the middle there, from the ponytail to the short-sleeve jacket over the revealing bodysuit feeding into the jeans.

These guys are Branch. The fourth member who isn't present is [REDACTED], I'm pretty sure the one on the left is the operator given what looks more like a suit jacket and skirt, and that leaves her at center as Chartreuse (05/A) and the guy at right as King (03/S). (I had some speculation here previously but alas, I was wrong.)

Carla's 'office' was not really what one would imagine from the word. It wasn't a particularly white collar kind of space. There was a desk—it even looked to actually be made of wood—but aside from various displays, it was covered in schematics and various finer tools, while the bare metal and workbenches of the rest of the room suggested a technical workshop. A good-sized window to one side was, curiously, entirely open, and didn't seem like it could be shut.

The woman herself sat upon a pretty cushy looking office chair behind that desk and was tinkering with some kind of circuitry with her bare hands, suggesting it was nothing particularly fancy. She didn't look up when Hayden stepped inside, and took a second to respond to his statement.

"Only just cleared to walk around again and already up and looking for something to do. Guess it's fate we happen to make a set of legs called the SPRING CHICKEN. They carry about as much as the WRECKER, which is good, because your set can be renamed to just wrecked." She finally set whatever doodad down and leaned back in her chair, looking at Hayden—sizing him up.

After a few moments her attention turned up and aside. "Chatty, did we finish our production run on those HAL parts yet?"

A disembodied voice immediately replied: "They're ready, boss."

"Great. Well then. Your AC decided to take RIP pretty literally, and after coming to rest in pieces, there's not a lot left of it. I appreciate the business, by the way." It hadn't escaped her notice that it'd had two RaD major subassemblies, and a lot of BAWS export parts—perhaps it was also fate Hayden had wound up on Rubicon 3.

Not that she believed in any such thing.

"I don't usually endorse our competitors' work, but then again I don't normally meet customers or play handler either, so you're in a real special position today." She beckoned him closer with one hand while pressing a button on the desk with another.

The surface glowed to life below various bits of paper and kit. It was clearly an inset display, and it was displaying an industry-standard AC design interface.

"A whole lot of interesting 'new' gear hit the market after the recent kerfuffle here. Play around with this for a while. Don't worry about the budget. If you've got questions, I'm right here."

He was lucky.

He had shattered several bones, pierced by broken metal, and had nearly died enroute due to Heat Stroke. But he was alive, and nothing that was broken couldn't be fixed. He supposed he owe'd Cinder his life in that she managed to get to him before the Corporations did.

The door opened to her office.

"I need an AC. If I'm to be of use."

        It‘s almost the end of the year, and the charitable organization had earned enough to move forward with their plans to feed the homeless and provide them necessities ( such as thick clothes for the winter ). It‘s a short-term solution but it still helps them nonetheless.

        Needing all they help they could get, she had invited them here the last minute. Thankfully, they have gotten enough manpower, and things have gone smoothly.

paint needs more work but gettin' somewhere with it. the idea is charged Coral missiles do the real damage; you secure them hitting by going in and being a menace with the laser dagger and WUERGER using melee combo tech, as well as Coral-boosted ASSAULT ARMOR. since the WUERGER is used in combo, no need to use anything but BASHO. it's really just pure aggression to facilitate big explosions, which I think is on-point

so Bambietta's AC is going to have Coral Missiles to evoke her Vollständig because they're a similar red and explode big and I don't apologize

im not sure what we're really expecting from the show at this point with all the human only mandos, the talk of mandalorian "bloodlines," no mention of the resol'nare, and no mando'a. it's just neat armor and neat scenarios. i guess that's all it has to be, but i gotta confess i for one feel cheated

For once, the stoic expression of her helmet aligned with the one she held. The Glaive before her was a familiar face, she's seen him in battles where she had to step in for General Glauca to keep up appearances. She had a feeling this was one of the General's own students when he was in Insomnia.

She greatly disliked having to fight against the Kingsglaive for two reasons; one was that they were similar to her own unit in a way, victims of a war that has been going on for so long where they've been put into a position either to fight or to die. The second was that being in such close proximity to magic like theirs made her blood cry out as her ancestors once held such magic, only for it to be taken away by the Astrals centuries ago.

There was no conscripting this one. If his conviction was as strong as what she's seen, then he would be able to make it out of this prison one way or another.

"I will not argue that, Glaive." The woman waved for her medic and her soldier who came with her to leave the cell, seeing no injuries on the man to attend to. Just as she was about to leave, she turned to the other once more. Perhaps some motivation for him to break out of there faster before the next day comes.

"Do give it some thought, Glaive. Joining my unit to live another day is a far kinder fate than being taken to Gralea." With that, she continued on conscripting the other prisoners.

Got around to reworking Yoruichi's AC for her Armored Core VI Verse after the latest patch finally nerfed dual Stun Needle Launchers and buffed recoil control on arms. To be honest, charged FASAN is gross; if you manage an ACS stagger and land a double charged shot, that's pretty much game. The lingering AoE damage is insane.

Also fairly happy with this paintjob.

Ok I have woken up and had food.

Consider:

The Justice League have to defend earth from an oncoming alien invasion, but at the same time there had to prevent a summoning for an ancient evil in the form of a Ghost King.

The time frame for both events was exceedingly short.

So what did they decide to do?

Interrupt the summoning and instead make a deal with the Ghost King to aid them in the alien invasion.

When they do summon him, however, the Ghost King seemed offput that he was even summoned at all, despite the previous track record of him waging war with various worlds.

Pariah, looking at Superman: Ah, I have heard about you, child of Steel.

So the Ghost King agrees to help them, to repay a favor that was owned to his parents. Everyone, even Superman thought it had to due with his parents on Krypton that, ya'know, exploded and are questioning what kind of thing they did to get the Ghost King to owe them a favor.

When the day of the Alien invasion came too, they expected either the Ghost King coming down himself, one of his soldiers or a small portion of his army.

Oh, they got an army alright. But not the army they expected.

The Ghost King himself even appeared, in Farmer's attire no less. He struck that pose where a person leaned back and looked to the sky and shouted a war cry, followed by loud, maniacal laughter.

Pariah: GO FORTH MY CHILDREN! DROWN THE EARTH IN THE BLOOD OF YOUR FOES AND BRING HELL DOWN UPON THOSE WHO DARED TEST YOUR MIGHT!

And what followed after his war cry was a flood of horses, both living and undead, covered in ghostly armor that ran through the streets and ascended into the sky to fend off the alien invasion throughout the city.

Of course, the Justice League also fought alongside the Ghost King's 'army' and succeeded in defending earth from the alien invasion. Surprisingly, or perhaps not surprisingly, none of the Ghost King's horses faced any significant injury.

Of course, the news took to it like sharks that smelled a drop of blood within the sea currents. Questions of who the meta is, where they found him and if he were a newfound member of the Justice League, some of the rich even asked if the Justice League could acquire them one of the horses.

Not that Pariah Dark, resident Ghost King and Farmer on earth, would let anyone by any of his children. They wouldn't even know how to or put in the proper care for them!

The favor he owned to Superman's parents weren't of his Kryptonian heritage, no. It was instead a one-sided repayment to the Kent's for gifting him a few rare living horses he didn't know how to acquire, they said he didn't need to pay them back, but he couldn't just leave such considerate and valuable gifts such as these without giving something in return.

Such opportunity came in the form of defending their home planet from an alien invasion.

On another note, the Kent's recognized the man on the internet is currently going crazy about as one of their neighbors. They were worried when they saw him on the scene, and after asked if he was okay.

14. hiya! for the fic finder, i'm struggling to find a fic i read a few months ago - not sure if it's been deleted or not. i am fairly certain it was an a/b/o au where wwx was carrying lwj's kid by the time he ended up in the burial mounds and basically he kept control of the spirits by asking the female ghosts to help him protect him unborn baby. wen qing also refused to take his golden core because of the baby and jiang cheng ended up with wen ning's core instead going into the sunshot campaign. the wen siblings and the wen remnants live in this au and help wwx raise his daughter after she's born. somewhere along the way wwx tells his siblings and lwj about his daughter too.

second fic i've been looking for, but not as much of a priority to me as the first one, all i remember about this one was lwj found out about wwx giving up his core almost immediately after it happened and wwx lets lwj help him sooner. one scene i remember was wwx and jiang cheng were arguing and jiang cheng uses zidian on wwx and mortally wounds him and stops wwx heart (i think?)

Writing Notes: Loyal Knight Characters

Hi, you can consider using some character tropes as a guide. Found a few examples for you:

"Knight in Shining Armor" Trope: The medieval knight who fights baddies, whether villains, knights, or dragons, and in The Tourney, charms ladies without deliberately seducing them, behaves honorably, and saves the day with his sword; but also, any hero who behaves similarly.

The "shining" originally referred to the way his armor and weapons were kept in good condition, as opposed to the rust that accumulated for less competent knights. Most knights will be depicted wearing plate armor, despite it appearing relatively late in the era of knights. Them using a Knightly Sword and Shield is also pretty likely, though the usage of plate armor with Knightly Sword and Shield is actually historically inaccurate since shields were considered redundant while wearing plate armor.

"Lady and Knight" Trope: The brave, chivalrous knight defends and falls in love with the fair lady.

"The Paladin" Trope: Paladins are warriors dedicated to furthering the cause of all that is good. Holy crusaders, they combat the forces of evil wherever they are found, and defend the helpless as much as possible. Above all else, paladins are good.

"Knight in Shining" Tropes

This is the set of tropes that cluster around Knight Templar: the forces of light in hardcore mode, excessively or otherwise.

This mentality is all the way over on the Idealistic side of the Sliding Scale of Idealism Versus Cynicism.

The Trope Codifiers are the Chivalric Romances of the medieval Matters of Britain (Arthurian Legend) and of France (Charlemagne) — especially the innumberable fantasy novels and verse epics of the 15th through 17th centuries which were based on, set in, or vaguely inspired by the older Carolingian myths.

The Arthurian myths have a less militantly idealistic style than the Carolingian ones; the Arthurian work most completely of this style is Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

This pattern is rarer outside of Europe (and before the Middle Ages) than within it.

The closest analogue to European chivalry was bushido, the code of the Japanese samurai, but the Japanese code emphasized loyalty to one's lord, even to the point of doing evil,

while the European one emphasized loyalty to one's conscience, even to the point of treachery.

Of course, that doesn't mean that non-European heroes can't act like this—and it doesn't mean that European heroes always do, either.

The Roman-derived tradition of "My Country, Right or Wrong" was always present in Europe.

Originally, the word knight was a job description with no connotation of high birth or status: it merely meant a warrior who was skilled and wealthy enough to fight on horseback, and owed their service to someone powerful.

The English word knight is derived from an Anglo-Saxon word for "servant", while most other European languages use a word meaning "horseman" (e.g. German Ritternote or French chevalier).

The word began to take on new meaning in response to social changes at the dawn of The High Middle Ages: the flourishing of merchants and cities gave them new wealth and power to compete with the nobility, while the increasingly independent Catholic Church became more assertive in trying to curb the misbehavior of the warrior class.

In order to maintain their distinction from the class of people who worked, and to reconcile the violent nature of war with the ideals of courtesy and piety, the nobility and gentry absorbed the military role of knighthood while turning it into a more exclusive and regulated order.

A noble child would usually start as a page in order to learn discipline and manners, spend their teenage years as an arming squire taking care of a master's horse and equipment, and when they had grown into a fine warrior, they would be recognized as having earned their spurs. Not everyone became a knight through such careful grooming, though.

Commoners could be rewarded with knighthood for exceptional service, and rulers facing a shortfall of heavy cavalry would sometimes make laws requiring anyone who possessed a certain amount of property to present themselves to be knighted whether they liked it or not.

“Brienne take me, I’m yours I always have been.” Her only response to your words is her hand moving towards your clit and rubbing tight circles onto it. You hissed at that and did your best not to scream.

Her thrusts grew needy and desperate, as she chanted your name over and over.

“Destiny you’re mine, I’ll never let you go.”

Her thrusts become erratic as she cries out your name, you know you can’t take much more, so you call out to her.

“Brienne I can’t… I’m going to…” She understands your meaning and kisses you roughly, in that moment you can feel her fill you to the brim with her seed. Your whole body reacts and you can’t help but cum on her cock, as you scream her name.

About the Other/Cybertronian!TFP crew in Jack, Raf and Miko…

What would their alt modes be like, do you think? Would they be more Autobot, Decepticon, or Predacon in nature? Also, what kind of shenanigans would each of them get into?

Personally, I do enjoy the thought that cyberized!humans would have a slant towards 'military' upgrades and beastial traits. Like a tribute to humanity's ties to the animal kingdom and their capacity for arms (tool usage lol). Think of it how a lot of civilian equipment, vehicles, fashion, and architecture, as well as groundbreaking discoveries, had a lot of roots from warfare or military applications.

Shoot, I'm thinking that Aligned verse cyber!humans could be considered throwbacks since the initial generations of early Cybertronians didn't have T-cogs!

I think it would be really fascinating to build on the Cybertronians' form of ableism (as seen with Bumblebee and Starscream with their stolen T-cogs) compared to a cyber!Agent Fowler -who was an Army Ranger-or a cyber!random human that lacks a weapon system and/or conventional armature. Plus, the massive culture clash between American views on social mobility versus Golden Age Functionist-held caste system.

(So much shenanigans there.)

Generally, my thoughts for their Cybertronian forms are consistent across the various Other aus with some tweaking on the plot and the world-building:

Jack has deep ties to blackbirds and corvids, so he's capable of flight. May have multi-forms as an ode to a fae heritage or something strange as a direct descendant to a Prime of Chaos upon a planet caging the Unmaker. Dark frame with a pale face. His (and his mother's) optics would be a grey-blue hue.

Miko is a War-Forged Seeker femme. A lot of is due my headcanons on Seekers (and their kin) and her yōkai roots. War-Forged is what I'm specifically calling Elita One's frame-kith. Cybertronians used to bleed pink, so the bright pink armor is callback their Primal Age and their ancient roots. War-Forged are mecha with extreme combat-related programs that modern science as yet to come close to surpassing them.

As for Raf, he's a dragon. Not quite a Predacon, but it's definitely aligned. Or, weirdly enough, a satellite. I think it would be funny if he's similar to Soundwave in some ways there. The Autobots would need to deal with his data-cables. A dragon shape as it's a call his family's roots to being adventurers to Elsewhere, his dad being a dragon himself, and the old warning: "Here be dragons."
