Discover 10 creative recipes using moringa paired with vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and potatoes.
Tumblr media
At Pura Vida, we are passionate about the incredible health benefits of moringa. This powerful superfood is known for its rich nutritional profile, providing essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to support overall wellness. The best part? Moringa can easily be incorporated into your meals, enhancing both the flavor and nutritional content of your dishes.
In this blog, we’re featuring 10 creative recipes where moringa pairs with a variety of vegetables. From cauliflower and potatoes to bell peppers and zucchini, you’ll see how easy it is to add moringa to your meals for a health boost. Let’s dive into these delicious, nutrient-packed recipes and discover how Pura Vida’s Moringa products can elevate your cooking.
Nutritional Profile of Moringa
Moringa is a true powerhouse of nutrition, offering a wealth of benefits for overall health and well-being. Every part of the moringa plant, from its leaves to its seeds, is packed with essential nutrients that support various bodily functions. One of the key highlights of moringa is its impressive vitamin content. It is rich in Vitamin A, which supports healthy vision, skin, and immune function. Vitamin C, another key nutrient, helps boost the immune system, promotes collagen production for healthy skin, and acts as a powerful antioxidant. Additionally, Vitamin E in moringa helps protect cells from oxidative damage, supports skin health, and may assist in preventing the signs of aging.
In terms of minerals, moringa is an excellent source of calcium, which is essential for strong bones and teeth and supports muscle and nerve function. It also provides iron, a vital mineral for red blood cell production and oxygen transport in the body, and potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure, supports heart health, and ensures proper muscle and nerve function.
Moringa is also packed with over 40 antioxidants, including quercetin, chlorogenic acid, and beta-carotene, which help combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammation in the body. These antioxidants contribute to overall health by protecting cells from free radical damage and promoting a balanced inflammatory response.
Another standout feature of moringa is its protein content. It provides a complete plant-based protein, containing all nine essential amino acids required by the body, making it an excellent protein source for vegetarians and vegans. In addition, the fiber found in moringa supports healthy digestion, promotes gut health, and helps maintain a healthy weight by increasing feelings of fullness.
Finally, moringa contains a mix of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids. These healthy fats contribute to heart health, reduce inflammation, and help maintain a balanced, well-functioning body.
By incorporating moringa into your diet, you're fueling your body with a wide range of nutrients that work synergistically to promote vitality, energy, and well-being. It’s a truly remarkable superfood that supports a healthy lifestyle from the inside out.

Get Your Morning Started 🤍
I bet you already read dozens of morning routines but maybe I can offer you a few different tips and tricks with my step by step morning routine.
waking up early is essential to make the most out of the day. If you aren‘t an early bird, try different kinds of alarm clocks (light, nature sounds, etc).
After waking up make sure there is some water on your nightstand and drink it. Start hydrating!
Try to avoid your phone as long as possible - no one needs your attention that early in the morning. Be considerate and put your attention on yourself!
Don‘t make your bed. Srsly! Open your window and air your bedding first. Making your bed right after getting up is a safe place for mites. While ventilating the bedroom you can go the bathroom, prepare your drinks/breakfast, journal or meditate. Make your bed 30 min after leaving your bed.
Meditate. Light a candle or incense sticks. Roll out your fitness mat and choose between guided meditations or non guided meditations (I recommend guided for beginners, you can find some on YouTube or Spotify) meditation is key try to stick to it daily!
Journal for organisation and personal growth. 5 to 10 minutes only (!!!) there are many journals out there, I personally use the 5 Minute Journal but any journal would do. You can use a plain notepad and look up journaling ideas on pinterest I really don‘t want you to spend money on stuff you don‘t necessarily need just for the aesthetic.
Move your body honey! Do a YouTube workout or go for a run. Walk your staircase up and down do whatever you feel like doing but try to ignore your lazy bum trying to make you skip this. Get stared on this one you can thank me later.
Breakfast, baby. Nutrition and hydration is non-negotiable! Have your vegetables and fruits, drink your coffee or matcha, don’t forget to drink your lemon water. Don‘t skip breakfast to loose wait angel. Your organs need the calories to function during the day so treat yourself with love and consideration.
Keep calm and moisturise. Quick shower or wash to get ready for the day. Skincare is everything. I’m currently investing (and testing) Korean skincare for myself but a few products are key: cleanser -> toner -> antioxidant serum (vitamin c) -> eye cream -> moisturizer -> sunscreen
Make up and dress up. Find your personal style you feel comfortable with and you‘re good to go. You can look up outfit capsules on pinterest for wardrobe ideas. In terms of make up I personally think less is more. Mascara, lip oil, some rouge on the cheeks and vaseline and you‘re fine. I personally prefer a sleek hairstyle.
Listen to podcast. This step is easily combined with breakfast or getting ready. I‘m currently listening to Confessions by Anastazia but I’ll probably make a playlist with my fave podcast episodes from various podcasts and share it with you.
Bisous!

You Never Come Back, Not All the Way [Yandere Shigaraki x Reader]
Title: You Never Come Back, Not All the Way [Yandere Shigaraki x Reader]
Synopsis: You haven't thrown up in months, but all you want to do is eat. Part of the It's My Party series.
Word count: 2500ish
notes: yandere, kidnapped reader, graphic eating disorder behavior including internal thoughts & actions
Tumblr media
Outside, the world is moving and shaking, or so you hear. Villain attacks, media censorship, frightened people that don’t want to stay out late at night.
All of this is told to you by Tomura, who murmurs these things at an almost lullaby pace at night. Like it should lull you to sleep to know that he is (or he thinks he is) closer to his goal than ever before.
Inside, none of that matters. Attacks, heroes, villains, none of it makes a dent. All you can think about--all you know for certain in this capsule of a room you’re kept in is--
You want food.
No, not just food. You want something rich and hearty. Something you can dip into chili or stew, something that will pair well with watching a cooking challenge show or a scene from a restaurant in a movie.
Bread would be nice. Nice bread would be even nicer.
Not stale sandwich bread found in dumpsters or last-chance cheap brand pre-sliced white bread that was priced down to practically nothing (and it was stolen before it made its way to your plate, anyway).
But real bread, the kind you buy in loaves, the kind you can rip into hunks before spreading rich butter on it. The kind you stick on top of a bowl of stew so that it gets soft and the butter melts into the bread a little bit.
The kind you dip into a stew, sopping up all the delicious rich beef and hearty vegetables before taking a big, chewy bite.
Oh, fuck. Just one loaf of that kind of bread, please.
It would be bliss.
If you asked, Tomura might try to get it for you. “Try” being the key word. You’d probably get a dented can of beef stew and one of those pre-sliced loaves of “French bread” that was always too soft and tasteless to really be satisfying.
That’s what your life is, at the moment. Always having to settle for not-quite-the-same; settle for things that aren’t what you wanted but you’ll take them because it’s as close as you’ll get.
It’s not fair. None of it is.
For another more pertinent example, you would also really love to throw up right now.
Yes, yes, you’re supposed to be recovering. You’re not supposed to want to do that anymore. Tomura sits on you and distracts you and tells you that he likes you, so you don’t need to worry about things like weight. (He doesn’t get, no matter how much you try to tell him, that it’s not about how you look. Not really. It’s about what’s inside, literally, and you want to rip it all out.)
You think it’s the hunger that makes you want to throw up. Ironically enough. You’re not starving, exactly, but Tomura doesn’t exactly have an abundance of food. It’s not just you that needs to get fed, but the rest of the “League,” too.
So those little hunger pangs that used to make you crow when you achieved them on purpose are now, instead, frustrating you. Making you sad. Making you feel weak.
Making you want to eat.
Right now--
You’d love to stuff your face with as much food as possible (the thought of ordering multiple pizzas comes to mind, or making a vat of something rich, spaghetti or a stew, and devouring it one night) and puke it out into the toilet.
You’d love to feel the rush of adrenaline when you’re mid-session, the lightness that comes from emptying the contents of your stomach and watching it flush away. That feeling of power (however fake, and you know it’s so fucking fake, you’re not in control and never have been) that flushes your chest while vomit swirls down the toilet.
But you can’t, for various reasons.
One, the toilet here is very unreliable. It clogs sometimes with just a little pee and paper, never mind what it might do with thick clumps of carb-heavy vomit. You’ve had to convince Tomura regarding the concept of a “courtesy flush,” something you never want to relive again on pain of death.
Two, you don’t have enough food to actually binge and purge. There’s no abundance of food like there used to be, before he kidnapped you. So the act would just leave you empty, empty, empty--with nothing to fill it with later. Whether you keep it down the second time or not.
You just have to settle for not-quite-the-same. Which, at the moment, means chewing a muffin topped with possibly just-about-to-turn butter as slowly as possible. Savoring it. Imagining that you’re back home and you have an entire tray to eat.
In reality, you have just three, and they’re supposed to last you all day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Combined with pre-cooked egg cups that taste smelly when you microwave them, and a few scattered bags of chips. But chips and eggs aren’t great for this not-quite-the-same activity. The texture isn’t the same… chips get stuck in your teeth, and there’s nothing satisfying about chewing an egg.
So a muffin it is.
You chew slowly, licking at your teeth with every bite so that the muffin doesn’t stick as much to your molars. The slowness, the solitude, gives you too much time to think.
How long has it been since you threw up, anyway? Tomura (a small part of your brain says: you’re calling him Tomura? This nasty villain who has kidnapped you and wants to destroy life as you know it--you’re calling him Tomura?!”) went from positioning himself in front of the bathroom door to laying on you to keeping a watchful eye whenever you eat a decent meal.
But even his watchful eye had more or less vanished, since you’ve been eating and… doing nothing after.
And now, he trusts you to be alone. Even with food. Even with meals. Like he doesn’t even consider the idea that you’ll do it, because you haven’t, and you haven’t really wanted to, not in the same way, not-quite-and-all-that.
He trusts that you’re getting better. And some part of you is, but not in a way that leaves you feeling good. It’s a way that leaves you feeling--what? Pathetic? Like you’ve lost? Like you gave away something about yourself that made you better (it didn’t--it doesn’t) and now you’re just some good little moron who eats and keeps it inside.
And it makes you feel empty. Not in the way you like.
You just feel so hollow, whether he’s here, whether he’s not. Whether he watches you after you eat or doesn’t bother to look or leaves you alone, trusting that you’ll be fine.
You’re alone right now, in fact, aren’t you? Until late tonight, if he comes back when he says he will.
The thought hits you too hard, and your hand pauses, half-eaten muffin trembling in mid-air.
He’s not here. He won’t be back for a long time. You could eat this muffin. You could wash it down with sink water, then eat the rest of the muffins, and all of the microwave egg meals, and every bag of half-eaten chips in this messy room, and then lean over the toilet and--
Before you know it, the heavy temptation has you sitting in front of the toilet, knees pressed hard against the tile. The half-eaten muffin is still in your hand, and you hold it up, tasting the clumpy crumbles stuck to the bottom of your front teeth.
The familiar scent of the bathroom, the feel of the hard tile pressing against your knees, almost makes puke come up on instinct.
But, fuck, it’s been so long since you did it. You’ve been so good.
What if…
What if you just don’t puke? That would be okay. It would be safer. You wouldn’t get dizzy, and he wouldn’t be able to smell the vomit, there’d be no chance he’ll find the splashback under the rim and get pissed off afterwards.
Because you’d just be chewing and spitting it out, right? No biggie.
So--you chew. Chew and chew until the crumbs are all wet and stuck together. Then you lean forward, open your mouth, and push it out with your tongue; the clumpy mess slides into the toilet with a splash.
It’s a comforting, familiar feeling. The scent of toilet water, your knees pressed against the floor, the splash of technically undigested food hitting the water.
You take another bite. And do it again. And again.
You don’t even hear the door to his room unlocking--the thunk of the lock covered, perhaps, by the splash of another lump into the toilet. You don’t hear him call your name. You don’t hear him walk, slow then faster, to the bathroom--
You don’t see his expression when he first stands in the doorway, seeing you kneeling before the toilet, mostly-gone muffin in hand, small mounds of food resting in the toilet bowl.
You only see his expression once he’s got four fingers wrapped around your upper arm--his pinky flies out at the last moment--and he yanks you up so hard you drop the muffin to the ground. He doesn’t waste time tugging you out of the bathroom, your socked feet slipping on the floor, and he doesn’t let go until he’s got you flung onto the mattress.
There are a few moments where the world feels topsy turvy, all buzzing and strange, before Tomura begins to pick at his neck and spits out the words, tinged with months of worn-out patience--
“What the fuck is wrong with you?”
It makes your guts feel weak; it drains every ounce of high you got from spitting down to your toes, where it fizzles to nothing. Really, truly--
You wish he would have just slapped you, instead.
Tears sting your eyes and you sit up straighter on the mattress, pretending something like dignity.
“What’s wrong with you?” His eyes widen and his fingers still at your tone. Not angry, like he might have expected. But worse than that: low and guttural and hurt. “You kidnapped me! You don’t let me--you don’t let me do what I want, I can’t talk to anyone, I can’t even…” And the words go unsaid. You can’t even puke up your own damn food.
Whatever words might have come next are lost when you simply begin to cry. Low, stupid, whimpering cries, the kind that choke up anything else you’d like to say.  A nasty, ugly cry that you know makes you look awful.
And just like that, his own attitude clicks and shifts, and he’s kneeling on the mattress at your side. Rough knuckles rub against your tears and he mumbles apologies that all blur into one big “Hey-shit-I’m-sorry-I-was-too-rough-you’re-okay-fuck-hey-calm-down.”
It’s not until he pulls you close to his chest, forcing your cheek against it, that you can begin to calm down. It’s a ritual. Something done before, earlier on in your kidnapping. Not for a while, not until now, when all your awful thoughts come rushing back like a wave on an abandoned beach.
“I don’t want anyone to hurt you,” he says, quietly, when you’ve stopped crying enough to let him be heard. “If you’re here, no one can hurt you. So that’s why…” He doesn’t finish, and he doesn’t need to; he’s told you all this before.
If he hadn’t caught you throwing up, maybe he wouldn’t have kidnapped you at all. Or maybe he would have but a month down the line, or two months, a year. You could’ve enjoyed freedom just a bit longer.
Doesn’t matter, because he did catch you, and you are kidnapped, and you’re here now, on his mattress, getting comfort from his touch and words.
Sniffles are childish as hell, you think, even as you sniffle and rub your nose.
“I didn’t throw up,” you mumble. Against you, he stills. You move your head back to look up at him and he looks at you like he’s about to say “Do you think I’m stupid?”
Before you can actually say it, you lick some food from the back of your teeth and move back a little more, intent on the truth.
“I was just chewing it. And spitting it out.” Somehow you keep eye contact with him--maybe because it feels right to explain it. To try to make him understand that it’s not like you were throwing up. He should be happy, even, that you were doing something like this instead. “It’s not a big deal,” you throw out, almost lightly, a half-laugh catching the edge of the last word.
Tomura looks at you like it is, in fact, a big deal.
Which means you won’t be able to do it and I mean, fuck, you didn’t really think he’d be okay with it--you’re not that stupid. Not that naive. Just desperate, you think. Desperate for something to make you feel better when your mood takes this inevitable turn down food-control-food-control-food-control road.
All of it makes you want to cry again. It makes those stupid tears come back to the corners of your eyes, making your eyes feel all bulging and warm. It makes your mouth quiver, as you begin your pathetic complaint.
“It’s not fair. I can’t do anything--I should be able to do this.” You gesture towards the bathroom, towards the mess you’ve left in there. Towards your chewed-up food in the toilet bowl. “I can’t live where I want or eat what I want or go to a movie or talk to my friends or--or--” There is an endless list of things you can no longer do, but Tomura doesn’t let you list them. Instead he gets off the bed.
It makes you stop crying, at least. If only out of surprise.
“That’s enough,” is what he says, voice strained, tired. The edge of patience is a thin one, apparently. You watch from the mattress as he walks into the bathroom; hear the toilet flushing, the sink running.
He comes back into the bedroom with a damp towel. There’s no gentleness as he, without an ounce of warning, straddles you against the mattress and wipes up your mouth.
“Tomu--” you begin, spluttering between wipes. “What--I don’t--you can’t--”
But he ignores you until your face is cleaned, until it feels refreshed if not scrubbed a bit raw. He drops the wash cloth on the floor--you cringe, thinking about how you’ll have to pick it up later--and keeps you pinned against the bed.
His hair falls towards you, framing his face, ghosting against your scrubbed skin. He’s tired. You’re tired. It shows in the way he speaks now, in the way you give in without another struggle.
“You gonna do it again?”
You bite your cheek, tasting a bit of leftover muffin glob, and shake your head.

“What game do you want to play?”
You blink at Tomura and don’t have an actual answer. He doesn’t usually let you pick the games. Especially when it’s a two-player game, and he’s usually picking the ones that make him look the best. Or so you assume; he’d denied it, when you felt lighthearted enough to make the jab once before.
“Why?” He frowns, and you press. “I mean. You usually pick.”
He shrugs. “Just decided you can pick it tonight. Tomorrow, too. If you want.”
Oh. It all slides together, like a children’s puzzle.
You don’t have a lot of choices in your life, anymore. You don’t pick where you live or who touches you or who you talk to or what you can eat. But tonight--tonight you get to pick what game you’ll spend the next few hours playing, before you tell Tomura it’s late and you want to go to bed.
Your choice.  For a few hours.
He’s throwing you a lifeline, or he imagines he is.
It’s not much.
But you have to take it for what it’s worth--which is, in the grand scheme of your little world, is a lot.

quick life tips that aren't worthy of a whole post
Your to-do lists are menus, not marching orders. I've gotten so much out of doing a weekly brain dump and then just selecting a few things out of it. Like "here are all the things I could do, not I'll pick a few that would improve my life in a meaningful way and a few that I just want to, the rest can chill". Unless you achieve enlightenment, we all die with unfinished business. It's chill. You're not a failure. It's just an option.
Create a capsule menu of shelf stable and long lasting fridge foods for when you don't feel like menu planning. Like a capsule wardrobe. Cooking oil is like your underwear, it's a base necessity. Then 3 sources of protein, 3 sources of fiber, 3 sources of volume. For us, proteins are canned chicken, eggs, and yogurt. Fiber is frozen vegetable mix, chia seeds, and legumes. Volume is rice, frozen bread, or oatmeal. Pick three spice mixes (Taco, Curry, and Cajun for us) and mix and match. Add some fun items like cheese, jam, and a condiment or two. Mix and match, throw something together. You can even roll on a dice table for it.
Morale items aren't pointless or wasteful. I spent entirely too much on coffeemonsterzco stickers recently. Guess who's updated their bullet journal and memory keeping calendar for several weeks now? Me. Guess who's already had it uncover and recontextualize medical issues? Also me. It's not pointless. Get the damn stickers.
Listing three good things everyday/gratitude is not overblown hype. It's not meant to dismiss negative feelings or even make you feel good - it helps you correct for you brain's negativity bias and create cognitive flexibility which in turn improves resilience and decision making. Way too many people get the wrong read on it. It's genuinely helped me lately even through some real unfun shit.

Extremely long post about how you’re now allowed to erase your neopets faces (NEOPETS IS GOOD AGAIN: YOU CAN ERASE THEIR FACES.)
I have just learned that neopets recently added some wearable (neocash only though) items called the “be-gone cans” that let you hide different body parts, so there’s like eyes-be-gone and wings-be-gone.
Tumblr media
There’s a lot of caveats (the mouth one for some reason is locked behind a gacha capsule, the “body” one only removes minor extra details from the torsos of a few species, they don’t all work on all pets and they don’t even work on the same exact parts of the same species in different colors because of how they were coded) but at minimum ALL pets can at least have the eyes and mouths removed and this alone improves countless, countless designs. For instance if you didn’t like some of the invertebrate variants stuck with the pet’s usual face, now you can fix it:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Same for the fruit and vegetable chias, they're SO good without faces, for reference here’s the mushroom chia with the horrible face all chias normally have:
Tumblr media
Awful. Just ghastly.
Now you can correct him and make him good:
Tumblr media
Look how fucking cute some of the other chias are this way:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a fucking game changer, I actually care about neopets for the first time in a decade because I can take their faces off. They were born for this. They were waiting almost 30 years to be freed from their disgusting foul orifices. “Help me, mother” they say, “I am cursed with a mouth and can therefore all too easily scream!” as their famous catchphrase always went I think. At last their salvation is here. I mean, look at this sad lenny:
Tumblr media
We all know exactly why he’s canonically always so miserable! If there’s one thing he hates more than having legs to touch the earth’s filth and corruption it’s being able to see it.
Tumblr media
Now he’s happy! He wants this!
Tumblr media
And now he’s even happier i’ll bet!!!!!!!!!!
If you take the muzzle piece off the scorchio it even liberates their whole head from their neck as their god intended:
Tumblr media
Legit though some pets actually make better serious designs besides the nudibranch one, like if you take the eyes off any of the (already badass) transparent pets you get their deep abyssal cave version:
Tumblr media
Now look at some of the transparent pets with everything taken away that can be taken away:
Tumblr media
The uni is finally almost unrecognizable as an equine, its life long dream
Tumblr media
This isn’t like any of the dog designs in any of the silent hill games but it could exactly have been a dog design in a silent hill game, you know??
Tumblr media
God bless whatever artist refused to give the insectoid Ruki a normal vertebrate skeleton so you can make this gelatinous flying space angel
Tumblr media
But god bless whoever DID give the insectoid Buzz a vertebrate skeleton so you can make this HR Giger parasite embryo. Actually cannot pick between the two bug pets here as my new favorite neopets that are still technically available. THESE WINGS HAVE BEEN RETIRED SINCE 2012 OR I WOULD MAKE THIS PET:

Short Days, Long Nights: 1
Tumblr media
Joel Miller x f!Reader
Rating: none — I’ll change it to E when we get there (slow burn, forced proximity, age gap — no age actually mentioned but rather more implied, competence kink)
Summary: Part of a band of travelers, your party is slowly picked off one by one, until there are only two of you left. Finding an abandoned cabin in the woods, you decide to make camp there until you figure out your next move. As the seasons change, the nights get longer and longer…..
A/N: Thank you endlessly to @mourningbirds1 for the incredible feedback, beta, and comments. As always, I couldn’t do it without you. Thank you also to @write-and-buried for her TLOU knowledge and constant support, and @the-ginger-hedge-witch for reading this one over and making me confront how much Joel Miller has rotted my brain 😉 Enjoy!
SPRING
The copse of trees surrounding you is dense, and from the overgrown path you’ve been following by groove alone, you almost miss it. A flash of muted, dingy blue in a sea of green.
“Hey,” you call to him. “What’s that?”
He turns, his features and body already taut with a practiced, ready tension and when he sees your face isn’t one of concern but rather curiosity, he relaxes. Walking over to you, he follows the line of your finger with his eyes.
At first, he sees nothing. Just a wall of clustered vegetation: sturdy trunks that hide behind branches heavily weighted with rain, the floor beneath them obscured by ferns that brush against your legs and growth that softens your footsteps. His eyes catch on something too angular for the setting and he frowns, focusing on it.
Barely visible in the distance and seen only through the filtered sunlight that catches the sharp edge: a moss covered roof. A structure, isolated like the two of you.
He glances over at you for a moment, reflexively reaching back for his rifle.
“Let’s take a look.”
Weapon out with his steps steady and slow, he approaches the cabin with a careful, defensive slink. As it slowly comes into view, you brace yourself for any type of movement. Second nature to now activate the constant thrum of self preservation inside you, you check for visible traps as you follow him, your eyes flitting between the building and the ground.
A specific sort of tension fills the air when something is close: you know that feeling now, have become so sensitive that it can wake you from dead sleep the second you feel it. Like a sixth sense forced to emerge due to evolution, you focus on it and feel none of that tension here:  just the trilling sound of birds, the soft crunch of pine needles underfoot and the peaceful silence of total seclusion.
Joel catches your attention with the jerk of his head, motioning to stay close.
You approach the front of the cabin together. His hands white knuckle the gun, the butt tucked tight against the worn strap of his backpack where it curves around his shoulder and as his fingers flex in anticipation, you hold your breath.
There is a weighted beat as you wrap your hand around the knob and turn.
In the end, it’s all for nothing - the cabin you find, after roughly working the warped door open, is abandoned.
It’s like a time capsule in the middle of the woods.
A thick layer of dust covering everything, motes of it swirl lazily in the beam of Joel’s flashlight as you wander from room to room. His boots scrape against the floor with heavy footfalls, the two of you silently surveying the causally cozy and completely still disarray: a moth bitten handmade quilt thrown over the back of the couch, outdated magazines in a stack on the counter, cobwebbed toothbrushes by the bathroom sink. Bookshelves packed with faded spines, grime covered windows, dead plants in pretty pots lining sills.
Someone loved this cabin once.
Used to your partner through circumstance by now, you anticipate an order to scavenge for everything you can carry and then move on, so you’re surprised when he sets his pack down on the floor and lets himself fall back onto the couch. A cloud of dust bursts into the stagnant air, his hands coming up to wearily scrub his face. They rake through his damp, messy curls as he closes his eyes before laying his head back and letting out an exhausted sigh.
“This should do for the night,” he says. “Could stay until the rain lets up, at least. Be nice to sleep on something other than the ground for a change.”
You nod in agreement, rolling out the kink in your shoulder you woke up with. Your eyes drift over the exposed line of his tanned throat, lingering on the hollow just above his collar. You force yourself to look away. “Yea, the beds didn’t look too bad.”
There had been two of them, across the hall from each other and the idea of a mattress - no matter how old - had you yearning to climb into bed already. Nothing saying you can’t, you reason with yourself. Not when time is more of a concept than anything else these days but the gnawing hunger in your stomach immediately disagrees, knowing exactly how long it’s been since you’ve last eaten.
“I’m gonna go look for some food,” you tell him and he hums in acknowledgement, seemingly indifferent.
Not really expecting to find anything of substance, you feel a swoop of scarce felt joy when you discover a cache of canned goods in the pantry. A treasure trove.
“Hey Joel,” you call, wiping your thumb over a peeled, dried out label. “I think I found dinner.”
He doesn’t answer, most likely asleep given his ability to succumb whenever and wherever he can when he gets a moment and you take several, bringing them over to the counter. Brushing away the dust that sticks to the labels, you survey your choices: baked beans and peaches, two of each. Just what you would expect at a lake house.
Letting him rest and holding the beans in your hand and a spoon you find in another, you take bites straight from the can as you wander down the hallway of the cabin, looking at the pictures on the walls. Using the heel of your hand to wipe away the dust that covers the glass, smiling faces emerge from the fog. You study them one by one, slowly chewing.
They look like stock photos you used to see in stores: generically bland smiles, posed to perfection. An elderly couple with their children of various ages, a large family gathering photo, parents with children sitting between them. You try hard to picture those people here: sitting in the living room, sleeping in the bedrooms, playing outside. The concept seems too foreign to grasp, too far away to be real and you take another bite of food, pushing away the sudden unbidden reminder of similar photos you once had in your own home, now lost.
You hear the couch protest as Joel gets up, coming to pass you in the hallway. He stops for a moment behind you, looking to see what you’re staring at and when he sees what it is, he frowns. Letting a deep sigh escape him, he keeps moving down the narrow space and with his pack in his hand, disappears into a bedroom.
Wanting the safety of his nearness and given that it’s the only other bedroom, you set up across the hall when you’re done eating. Placing your own worn pack on the floor, you start to methodically strip the mattress, shaking out the bedding. Minimal creeping mold darkens the seamed edge of a mattress in otherwise good condition and you flip it, hoping for the best. Shaking out the pillow to make sure there is nothing hiding in it, you take the pillowcase with you, wanting to air it out on the deck now that the rain has stopped.
Wanting to do the same for him, you walk into the bedroom he’s claimed and even though he’s not in there, it already feels like an invasion of privacy to be standing in it. His pack slumped on the end of the bed a visual claim, you grab his pillow off the bed and start to tug off the case.
What does he look like, sleeping in a real bed? Does he bunch the pillow or tangle himself in the quilt? When he gets up, is there a rumpled form left behind, still warm with the heat of his body pressed into the sheets?
For all the time you’ve spent with him, the majority of Joel is a mystery to you. He gives away more than he knows, but that’s still not a lot. You knew of him back in the QZ: his broad frame a hard one to miss, his reputation even bigger and while your paths rarely crossed within the borders of those high walls, once you set out, it was hard to stay out of his orbit.
His handsomeness drew your eye initially, but it was his usefulness that made you stay in his shadow. His determination to fight for his own made you feel protected by proximity, even more so when he extended it to you.
Had to, once your group got picked off one by one.
You had been thankful, in a sick way, that he was the one that remained. The best one. The most ruthless one. A ruthlessness you admired, then revered, then thought about at night as you tried to drift off to sleep.
Without needing to sleep clothed to protect himself from the elements, does he still sleep in them, or will he be in less? If so, how much less?
Sharply snapping the pillowcase in the air, the sound brings you back to the present and you shake away the thoughts, leaving the room.
“Whatcha got there?” He’s sitting on the couch, a can of peaches in his hand and when you face him, you have to look away from the glistening juice on his lips.
“Oh, I was going to hang these outside, see if I can get some of the dust smell out.” Your nose crinkles and he smirks, taking another bite and shaking his head.
“Thought you’d be used to that by now.”
You shrug, taking a seat in a chair by the woodstove. Leaning forward to inspect it, your chair wobbles; the front leg rotted.
He nudges his chin in the direction of the stove when you open its door. “I thought about lighting it, but we better not. Don’t want the smoke showin’ people someone’s here.”
You nod, sitting back in the chair. “I can’t believe what a good find this is. There’s all sorts of stuff. I found some clothes in the closets, some more blankets too, if you need one.”
You watch him chew, his jaw flexing under the salt and pepper of his beard.
“There is more food where that came from, if you’re hungry. The pantry is pretty full.”
He acknowledges it with a nod, taking another bite and you glance towards the windows that run the length of the room. A miracle none of them are broken, thanks to the secured tarp that lined the outside.
“I think I’m gonna clean some of these and see if I can get a better view.”
“Cleanin’ the windows, doin’ the laundry. You lookin’ to move in?” His teasing tone is a dry one, and you smile, shrugging.
“Just so we can see what’s out there. In case someone comes.”
He looks at you, his eyes narrowing for a moment before he finishes the can, drinking the juice.
“Well don’t wear yourself out too much,” he says, standing with a soft grunt of pain. “We ain’t gonna be here that long. Not worth makin’ it all homey.”
He sets the can down on the counter, grabbing his bow and supplies off the surface. You watch him check his stock of arrows before reaching back to feel for the knife strapped to his belt.
“I’m gonna go see if I can find us something for dinner.” He gives you a look, his eyes quickly sliding down over your form and then back up. “Yell if you need me, okay? I’ll stay close.”
You nod, holding his eyes for a minute and when he goes, you use the pads of your fingers to wipe clean a clear circle on the window.
A creek lines the edge of the property, one that you didn’t even hear from the path with how thick the vegetation is and you watch him walk down along the edge of it for a moment, his head bowed. His hair is lighter in the sun, ruffling slightly in the wind and you keep watching until his form disappears behind the trees.
Searching the cabinets methodically for anything of use while he’s gone, you find them buried deep in a junk drawer, sealed inside a faded, dirty ziplock.
Seed packets. A lot of them.
“Holy shit,” you whisper to yourself, opening the plastic pouch. You handle each pack delicately, spreading them neatly and carefully out on the counter and marvel silently at the whole vegetable garden you’ve found in this tiny bag. The haul would be worth more than you can imagine back at the QZ, but the potential for it is even higher here, in this dim kitchen, with that patch of moist, fertile soil outside.
You pick them up one at a time, sorting them by recommended growth timelines and a thought takes root in your mind; the paper packets eventually gathered and put neatly back into the bag.
You let it stew the rest of the afternoon, into the evening. As the sky dims, then darkens, as he comes back with a skinned rabbit and cooks it, as you both sit in the living room after dinner, your dirty plates resting on the coffee table between you.
He’s sprawled on the couch, his arm behind his head with his thighs spread wide and the denim around his thighs is molded tight; his other hand resting limply against the inside of his thigh. When his eyes close, your eyes drop from his face to his hand, and then back up again.
“So I found something today,” you begin, and he answers with a slow drawl, content and full.
“Oh yea? Anything good?”
“Really good. Like, something really, really good.”
He opens his eyes then, looking over at you with a tilt of his head.
“Well? You gonna tell me what it is?”
You draw one of the packets from your pocket, holding it in your hand and he sits up immediately, leaning forward on his elbows to reach for it.
“Careful,” you warn, scared some will leak out of the thin, dried out paper.
“You found these here?”
“Yea, in a drawer. In the kitchen.”
You can tell by the way he is looking at them that he knows their value. His hands hold them more tenderly than you thought his hands capable of, and he flips the packet over, reading the front.
“I would kill for a fresh squash right now,” he mumbles, more to himself than anything, as he studies the front.
“Well…” you start, suddenly unsure of your idea when he brings his eyes back up to your face. It’s intimidating when he looks directly at you normally, but you feel it tenfold now. He’s always been the one to call the shots, his experience in this world outweighing yours and while you’re nervous to throw yours out there, thinking of the alternatives nudges you forward.
“I was sort of thinking this afternoon. About this place, and about these seeds.” You pause, looking away for a moment and then back at him. “About us, maybe staying here.”
He immediately frowns, scoffing to discourage the idea. “You can’t be serious. Stay here?”
Though you expected it, his immediate dismissive tone flares annoyance in you.
“Where else is there to go, Joel?” you ask, your voice gaining confidence. “Be serious. Every settlement has been a nightmare, every place we’ve tried —“
He shakes his head, cutting your argument off. “I said we could stay for a night, not stay forever goddamnit. We’re like sitting ducks out here, just waitin’ to get killed. In the middle of fuckin’ no where —“
“Exactly!” you say louder, before bringing your voice down. “Exactly. We didn’t even see this place from the road. Not even from the path off the road. Who is going to find us here? No one knows about this place, or else it would have been looted ages ago. The tarps hid it, the trees block it, the –”
“And then what, huh? The second we light that wood stove, it’s gonna give us away. Even so, what then when someone wandering down that path sees the same thing we saw, and they decide to come take a look for themselves? They are gonna see everything we have – everything you’re suggesting we start – and they are gonna kill us for it.”
He pauses, the next statement forcing you to look at the ground. “Just like we would have done if we found someone else here. Just like we do.”
You say nothing, letting the words hang in the air.
“Just —“ you pause, looking down at your hands. Flashes of the last few months play back in your mind: the hangings, the strict enforcement of rules for all made to benefit the few, the bleak apartment you live in. This mission, all the things you’ve seen along the way, all the fear and terror you’ve felt and how the only person who has ever made you feel safe since the Outbreak began is sitting right here in this room.
If ever this could work, it would only work with him.
You bring your eyes back to him, pleading. “Aren’t you tired of it? So restless, always fighting against everything. For everything you have. Aren’t you sick of it, Joel?”
“Don’t worry about me. I’m just fine.” His tone is clipped, but you can tell he’s thinking. He glances at his watch, the broken face staring back at him. It’s been broken for as long as you’ve known him, but he’s always treated it as carefully as his weapons, his supplies. You can see him illuminated by the moon profile in your mind, his fingers skating around the face as he kept watch, or brushing it with his thumb to delicately keep the dirt off. Seeing your opening, you take it.
“I’m not saying forever,” you press. “Hell, I’m not even saying a month. But let’s just stop for a second. Let’s… just stop. Nothing says we have to go back there. We could be dead, for all they know.”
He brings his attention back to you and placing his hands in his pockets, he straightens his spine. “Probably will be, sooner or later, if we stay here.” He looks you directly in the eye, holding your gaze. “It’s not just the supplies they’ll take. They’ll want way more than that.”
You raise your chin, ignoring the tightening of fear in your chest. He hasn’t let that happen yet, and even if it's foolish to believe, you know he won’t let it happen. When he sees you’re not going to answer, he sighs.
The lantern is bright between you, illuminating the room in a soft glow and his deep brown eyes study you. His expression is stern, like he wants to say no…but he doesn’t.
“It’s a dumb idea.” His statement is said with resignation, but with the authority of the last word and deciding not to push it any further tonight, you stand.
“Well, good thing it was just an idea.” Glancing over at the seed packet, you chew your bottom lip while he watches your face with a frown and your voice gets softer, quieter.
“I’m gonna get some rest. I’ll see you in the morning.”
He isn’t there when you wake up, and finding his bow gone, you know he’s out hunting again.
You wander over to the coffee table to pick up the packet of seeds you left there last night when you see a book facedown next to it. Like he was reading something he found on the shelves after you went to bed, and left it there.
Picking it up and turning it over in your hands, a smile unfurls at the edge of your mouth and you sit down on the couch, opening it to the first page:

What happens when you accidentally break a curse
Tags: smut, mdni, f!reader, witch!reader, cursed prince!nanami, oral (f receiving), fated lovers, fingering, praises, names (love), nanami making sweet sweet love to you, sudden love confession, creampie, just me being feral for this man,
Author's note: I kinda got inspired from real life because when I wake up I hit every single object in front of me and I can bearly stand on my feet. So try to think of someone who was asleep for a few good years. Might as well not get up from the bed at all.
Author's note: I'd suck the soul out of this man.

You were looking for some plants that grow in a very specific region. It wasn't something new for you, since you do that all the time. Unfortunately, this time you woke up with some complications.
You were walking around looking for what you needed when you saw a castle a little bit away from where you were. It looked abandoned, vines and all kind of vegetation taking over it. It had lot of cracks and it looked old and very much damaged.
You couldn't ask for a better place to make as your temporary home.
So, you went there, happily preparing everything you needed to accommodate yourself in a tower that looked in a presentable condition and then left to look for the plant you needed once again.
Everything went smoothly, you found what you were looking for, no one disturbed you and now all you had to do is prepare the potion you wanted to make so badly. However, you needed to do the potion on a sunny day, and outside it was raining. And since you didn't had the perfect environment to complete your quest, you decided to explore the castle.
It was indeed old. From the furniture to the decorations. You haven't seen that style in a good couple of years.
It had its own charm though. It looked like a time capsule.
You won't be able to find buildings like these anymore, and even if you do, it was just some cheap imitation of how things used to be. It won't look as authentic as this.
This place was huge, outside and on the inside. Rooms after rooms, and windows so tall that it reaches from the floor to the ceiling. Paintings bigger than yourself and long rugs that looked like they needed some cleaning. You could do a few spells here and there, but was the pain really worth it when you won't spend a lot of time there anyway?
And besides, you liked the place just the way it was. Forgotten by humans and full of dust.
"This place stinks of magic." you said after you walked into a corridor far away from where you placed your little laboratory.
The hallway you just walked into was getting absolutely no light from outside, no windows could be seen. And the walls were full of green and plants, long spiky vines that went to a door, blocking any access to it.
Not for you though. With a hand movement the door was free to use, now being wide open leading to a room with a single large window and a bed.
The moment you stepped into the room you could sense the source of the magic you kept feeling, and it lend you to the bed.
There was something in it, but you couldn't see what exactly it was. Maybe it was a ancient relic, or a very rare magic object that would go good with your collection of antiques. Whatever it was, it got your attention and you moved closer to the bed.
You expect to see something unseen before, since this place was filled with this overbearing magic that was playing with your senses, but instead, you saw a beautiful man sleeping.
You blinked a few times, trying to understand what's going on. Why was he the source of this bad feeling, why he reak like evil magic.
You were about to step away, not wanting to get caught in the middle of this but when you tried to turn around you lost your balance and fell on top of the sleeping man, your face right into his, lips touching softly. You quickly got up, wanting nothing more than to run away from there. But he woke up.
Eyes looking at you and at your failed attempt to get out of there. Now stuck in that room and owning an explanation on why you woke him up.
"Um-" you bite your lower lip, not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry for waking you up."
He didn't said a thing, slowly getting up, still sitting in bed and looking around the room for a moment. He looked confused at first, he looked confused at his surroundings and at you.
The room felt a lot more clear now that he woke up, the bad magic disappearing a little with each second that pass by. And he seems to regain his consciousness too, now looking less confused and at peace somehow.
"It's you." he said after a while, making you jump when you heard his deep husky voice. He got at the edge of the bed, looking like he was about to get up, but he didn't. "I never thought that you'll appear." he said, a hand going over his face, massaging his forehead for a moment. "I apologize." he sighed. "I just woke up and I'm a bit dizzy."
"No, it's alright." you said, surprised at how calm he was to wake up with a stranger in his room. "I'm the one who should apologize for entering your home without permission."
"It's alright. I'm sure you had a good motive." his words only made you feel guilty for staying without even checking if someone lives in the castle. "Plus, it's raining." you forgot about that.
He was way too understanding, and it was suspicious.
Was this a trap? Was this a big elaborate scheme to get rid of you in a complicated way? You don't remember getting on anyone's bad side so this whole situation was confusing.
"W- well..!" you had to get out of there. "I will take my leave now. If you excuse me." you said, ready to run away from there.
"Where are you going?" he tried to get up, but ended up falling back on the bed. "Come here, let's talk." you were on high alert, waiting for anything to jump out the shadows and hit. You were extremely paranoid and the fact that the room was magic free now was even more suspicious. "How long have I slept?"
"I don't know." you answer truthfully.
"Aren't you sent here by my parents?" you shook your head. "Then why are you here?"
"I'm doing some research about the local flora." you weren't lying, but you weren't saying the truth either. It was better to not reveal too much.
"I understand." he didn't sounded like a bad guy, but you couldn't trust him completely. "You see, I was cursed right after I was born." that explains the unpleasant magic. "I fell into a deep slumber. And I couldn't be woken up no matter how hard people tried."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because you broke the curse." but how?
"I didn't do anything though?" he shook his head.
"Only the true love's kiss could have saved me." he chuckled at your dumbfounded expression. "You don't have to believe me. I had doubts about it too. However, I see that it was indeed true. And personally, I'm glad it ended up like this. I'm happy your my savior." he spoke with such a calm voice. For a moment you actually believed his words, making your heart skip a beat and your face getting hotter.
Was he saying the truth? You might consider any of his advances if his words were true.
"I really didn't do much." you said, playing with your fingers. "I tripped and fell on you. It was an accident, I swear."
"It's alright. I'm not mad." this was only making you feel guilty. "I hate to ask this, but can you help me get up? I'm a bit rusty from all that sleeping." your body moved on it's own towards him, grabbing his hand in yours and helping him stand on his feet.
He was tall. You didn't noticed that when he was sitting, but damn, he was really tall. And now that your closer to him, he looks a lot more muscular too. Broad shoulders, and the way his hand was a lot bigger than yours. His touch was gentle, while his steps were clumsy.
"I want to get closer to the window." he said and you stayed by his side until he got to the closest window.
The castle was surrounded by ruins. Not a single civilian could be seen. Anything human related looked like it was slowly evaporating, getting destroyed by time and nature.
"This place used to be full of life." he said, a hint of sadness could be heard in his voice. And it was very much showed on his face.
"The king moved the palace somewhere else."
"I see." so they forgot about him. They chose to leave him behind and continue to move on.
"The new location is much worse, if you ask me." you tried to console him in a way or another. "And the kingdom is not doing as good as it used to be since they moved the palace. It's their lose, if you ask me." he could only sigh.
"It still makes me feel useless."
"Don't be. I'm sure you'll do much better without them, if that's what you want. I can take you there if you wish to." why were you trying to please this man was a mystery. Whenever he looked at you your knees would go weak, you wanted nothing more but for him to be happy and in a good shape.
"I want to take a look around the castle before I decide." and his wish came true. You showed him around, you cooked for him and when the night came, you even looked around for a better room for him to sleep in. "I'm not weak, you don't have to look after me." he said that but he couldn't even stand on his feet on his own.
"Say that when you can get out of bed without my help." this situation was making him feel even more miserable. He was abandoned, being way too useless for anyone's help and now he couldn't do anything on his own because his body felt like gelatin.
How much time did he actually slept? It couldn't be one or two days by the way this place looked like, it couldn't be weeks or months either.
But you were there for him. You helped him with anything he needed, you even forgot about your own research and only focused on him. And your help did wanders because a few days later he was like a brand new person. He was back to his own self. But if you're being honest, you're a little sad about it. You couldn't be as close to him as before. So you had no choice but to watch him from afar.
"Have you decided what are you going to do in the future?" you asked him while you were walking around the castle.
"Ah.. Well." he forgot about that.
"Do you want to go to the palace? You don't have anything to do here anyway." he knew that. "Or.. You could come with me." he looked at you, not sure if it was you who said those words or if it was his imagination playing with him. "I'm planning on leaving this place as soon as possible." being around him was not good for your heart, plus, if he never planned on being with you then you're only playing with your feelings.
"You're leaving?" he asked. You nodded and kept looking right ahead, too flustered to look at him or in his direction.
"I finished my research a long time ago. I was waiting for the right time to leave."
"I want to come with you." he said, still not believing that you're the one who suggested him to come with you.
"You're sure? My place is not as luxurious as this castle." he'll lit this place on fire without even blinking if that means he'll be with you.
"I'll go to the end of the world if you're there. I'll come with you wherever you plan on going." you smiled softly. He was too much for you. He said whatever he wanted to say without thinking twice and it always took you by surprise.
"Then, how about we leave tomorrow? I have to gather my stuff and then we can leave once the sun is out." he'll do whatever you want him to.
He helped you pack and by the time you were finish it was already dark outside.
For a moment, you managed to slip out that room, going somewhere further away from the tower, back to where you found Nanami sleeping.
The room looked the same, the big bed in the middle of the room, the window that was still open from the last time you went there and the big moon shining on the sky. Tonight it was full of stars.
You could see this scenery from anywhere in the castle, but it looked extremely beautiful from that specific window.
"I knew you would be here." his voice could be heard from behind you.
"I was exploring the castle for one more time before we left." he stopped next to you, looking out the window in the same direction as you did.
"You look beautiful tonight." you giggled. "You look beautiful all the time." oh, but could he stop for a moment. He was always complimenting you.
"You look beautiful too, Kento." he smiled, being more happy with the way you said his name than the compliment.
"You're more beautiful." you could only laugh at his stubbornness.
"You are."
"Let me kiss you." one of his hands went to your hips, waiting for your answer before he would continue to do something.
"Sure." you laughed, still a bit surprised by his words.
Dragging you closer by your hips, his free hand went on your cheek, softly placing his lips against yours. He stood there for a second, liking the way your body feels before getting his face away to look at you, enjoying the expression you had on your face even more.
Your big eyes, and the way you're looking at him. Your lips looked like it was calling him back, and he couldn't get enough of you.
His lips went back on yours, placing a small kiss before another came, and then another, and the more your lips touched the more hungry it became.
That soft delicate kiss was now a much more passionate one. One where your mouths were open and tongues touching, hands traveling on the other's body to discover more. Soft sounds leaving out your mouths when a particular spot was being touched, when it felt too good.
"Stay with me tonight." he said between kisses.
"Mm." you hummed something in response. Too horny to even think of a sentence to formulate.
With small steps, you were walking towards the bed, clothes being taken off and all naked by the time you got to there.
"Lay down." he said, helping you get in bed. "I want to taste more of you." you'd let him explore your body however he wanted.
You nodded, looking at him get in between your legs, placing them on his shoulder and leaving a small kiss on your lower stomach.
He looked up at you for a moment before he lower his head, another kiss placed on your pussy before he took a better look at you. "You're so wet." he said all happily. "For me." he placed another kiss. "I'm going to take good care of you." he slowly kissed your entrance, and then went up until he found your clit, kissing and sucking it as one of his fingers went inside of you.
He kept moving his finger at a low speed while he was giving your clit the attention it needed. And after some time another finger was added, trying to stretch you out as much as it's needed.
"Ken.." you sighed his name. "It feels good. Keep it just like that." if this is how you like it then this is how you'll receive it.
Your hands went to his hair, gripping it softly, making him to curl his fingers.
What was he doing out of you. It was so good that you couldn't even think straight anymore, your mind blank as you felt something building up inside of you. Somehow, you wanted him to stop. Too embarrassed to let him see this part of you. But at the same time you needed that release. It was so close, you could practically taste it and you'll start crying if he actually stops.
Your thighs almost closed, lucky his hands were there to stop you from trapping his head.
"You did good." he said and got up, finding a good position in between your legs.
"Oh, Ken.." he could listen to you and your voice for hours. The way you say his name was more than enough for him.
"Tell me if it hurts." with his cock in his hand, he slowly got inside of you, stopping when just the tip was inside to see if you're in any kind of discomfort. Then he kept going, stopping not even halfway through just to make sure everything was alright.
"Just get in already. I want to feel you." you were impatient. You felt like he was playing with you by how slow he was going.
He dropped some of his body weight into you, his arms placed on either sides of your head, caging you between him and the bed after he got all the way in. He stayed like that for a moment, enjoy the scent and warmth of your body.
It was nice, it felt nice. For him it was the way you were to tight, the way your warm walls were hugging him so nicely. And for you it was the way he split you open. His cock touched so many good places. But he didn't dared to move just yet, he wanted to stay like this for a little longer.
"Ken." you said his name so sweetly.
"Yes, love?" he kissed your forehead.
"Can you move?" he could, but he liked the way things were like at the moment. But he couldn't complain when you looked so lovely for him.
So, he slowly moved his hips. Getting out of you just a little, pausing, and then getting back inside. It wasn't anything wild, but it was enough to make your body heat up even more. Soft sounds leaving your mouth every time he moved, the friction being too good.
The pace was painful slow, truly. But from how he stuffed you up it was more than enough for the moment. The places he touches, the way he felt inside of you. God, he could stay like this forever.
"You feel so good." he praised you, his lips on your forehead, placing a soft kiss before he moved his hips a little faster. Again, it wasn't something too much. It just a little faster, it was still the same old enjoyable pace.
It was more than enough, but you wanted more of him. You wanted to leave kisses all over his body, to touch him more, you wanted his body even closer to yours.
He was killing you softly. You needed something more, you wanted him to go faster, but he was so painfully slow. You wanted him to go deeper, but he seems to hold back.
"Ken." you said his name, placing a kiss on his cheek. "I need more." he hummed, nodding his head and placing his arms somewhere closer to you.
He kissed you before starting to move again, this time deeper, hitting your deepest spot just right. It took you by surprise even if you knew what he was about to do. You couldn't help but gasp every time the tip of his cock was touching that spongy spot.
He wasn't even applying any kind of force, he was just moving in and out of you, not getting even halfway out. He wanted to stay inside of you, he's not stupid to leave you alone when you were so good for him.
Your arms went around his neck, one of your hand going to his hair when his lips touched yours. His kisses were so passionate, full of love and lust. It was full of his feelings for you, making it up for the time he couldn't express how he felt when you two meet. It was his mixed feelings, it was for the way he loved you as a person and for the way he loved and craved for your body and more. He might not say it out loud, but he fell for you the moment he open his eyes.
"I love you." he said after he broke the kiss, giving you time to give him a response. You looked at him, big doe eyes and blinking slowly, trying to understand what he just said. "I'd sleep another hundred of years if that means that I get to meet you again and again." he stopped his hip movement, still inside you. "Ever since I opened my eyes, I loved you." you had a dumb smile on your face, giggling and looking away for a moment.
"Oh, Kento." your laugh was so colorful. "I love you too." he kissed your cheek, then your forehead and then your hair.
He slowly started to move his hips again, somehow, this time more passionately. His lips never leaving your body, kissing every inch on your skin that gets in front of him. He was so determined to make you feel good. He wanted to know that he did well, that he's giving you more pleasure than you ever received.
Maybe he's dumb for being selfish, but he didn't cared when your voice sounded like the best melody he ever heard. The sounds you made, so sweet and melodic, making him to want more.
"There, just right there." you said out of breath when he kept hitting a spot that got you trembling. His lips on yours once again, kissing you hungrily while a hand of his went between your legs, moving his thumb on your clit, making you moan into his mouth.
He kept going, the room filled with filthy noises made by your bodies. Wet sounds of skin against skin, too obscene for anyone else to hear.
"Cum with me, please. Cum with me." you begged, out of breath and too desperate for your sweet release.
He was close too, hang in there for a moment. He'll give you what you're asking for. He won't leave you alone.
A low groan left his body, and with a few more thrusts, he came inside you, going as deep as he could, filling you up.
"We might have to stay here tomorrow as well." he said after a while, both of you finally having somehow more clear minds.
"I don't mind where I am as long as I'm with you." you said, cupping his face with your hands and kissing him.
"I feel the same." he said, kissing your forehead before he started to move his hips again. "You can do it one more time, can you? I haven't had enough of you just yet."

Why Choose Empty Vegetable Capsule Pills to Store Medicines?
In the ever-evolving world of pharmaceuticals, the choice of packaging plays a crucial role in the efficacy, safety, and convenience of medication. Among the various options available, capsules have emerged as a popular choice for storing and administering a variety of medicines. In this blog post, Wecaps will share with you why choose empty vegetable capsule pills for medication storage.
The Appeal of Vegetable Capsules
1. Natural Composition: Unlike gelatin capsules, which are often derived from animal sources, vegetable capsules are made from plant-based materials such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). This makes them a suitable choice for vegetarians, vegans, and those with dietary restrictions.
2. Digestive Ease: Vegetable capsules are designed to dissolve more quickly in the stomach, which can be beneficial for individuals with sensitive stomachs or those who experience difficulty in digesting traditional capsules.
3. Purity and Allergen-Free: The absence of animal-derived ingredients reduces the risk of allergen reactions, making vegetable capsules a safer option for those with allergies.
4. Environmentally Friendly: With a growing consciousness towards sustainability, vegetable capsules align with eco-friendly practices as they are derived from renewable resources.

Benefits of Empty Vegetable Capsule Pills for Medication Storage
1. Customization: Empty vegetable capsules allow for the customization of dosage. Consumers can fill them with the exact amount of medicine they need, providing a tailored approach to medication.
2. Dissolution Control: The rate at which these capsules dissolve can be manipulated during the manufacturing process, allowing for controlled-release medication delivery systems.
3. Masking Unpleasant Tastes: One of the primary benefits of using capsules is the ability to mask the taste of bitter or unpleasant-tasting medicines. This is particularly beneficial for pediatric formulations.
4. Portability and Convenience: Empty capsules are lightweight and easy to carry, making them a convenient option for those who need to take their medication on the go.
5. Versatility: They can be filled with a variety of substances, from powdered medications to herbal supplements, offering versatility in treatment options.
From natural ingredients to versatility and customization, empty vegetable capsule pills offer a variety of benefits for medication storage and administration, making them an attractive option for a wide range of applications.

Fake blood recipes
Hey fronds -- I've been meaning for years to put together my recipe book for all the kinds of make-it-in-the-kitchen fake blood that I have tweaked/perfected over the years.
For LARPers, theater nerds, prop makers, etc -- all using things that 1) you can buy in most standard grocery stores or 'health food' stores with maybe one exception 2) you can buy year-round 3) are generally safe to handle (ymmv with allergies, kids, pets, etc, but in general nothing toxic)
yes, SFX makeup is pretty freely obtainable these days, but there's something nice about the DIY and the quick and easy
So just off the top of my head I can write about the following -- any questions I might be missing? Any strong opinions?
(stick the word 'fake' in front of blood for all these):
Materials:
standard corn syrup blood
honey and other syrup bloods for people with sensitivities to corn
blood that drinks well (using thickener, etc) even over several hours
blood that tastes good (cocktail garnishes, maybe some straight up cocktail and mocktail recipes)
blood that's not sweet (most are somehow sugar-syrup based, but there are vegetable juice based bloods that won't make your teeth ache)
Colors:
blood isn't plain red -- good dye balances to use
allergy friendly food dyes
Examples of matchable color swatches of real blood in medical settings, spilled, dried, etc. -- clipped as pure color swatches so you don't have to have possibly uncomfortable pictures lying around
examples of blood variations (blood banks separate red cells from plasma for instance)
making 'other blood' -- edible ways of making green, blue, and glowing blood
Problems to solve:
blood that flows vs blood that dries nicely (the actual material)
blood that looks new/wet even when the material is dry
blood that looks old/dry/scabbed but is still comfortable to touch or wear
Permanent staining blood (for costumes, art projects etc) vs washable blood (for LARPs or stunts at halloween)
Blood that is thin and writes and sprays smoothly (I start with soy sauce, usually); recommended dip pens and brushes
Blood that makes good fingerprints and other shapes
Make your own blood capsules (mouth friendly and otherwise)
Maybe with an extra index on how to make blisters, bubos, and such just with things you can buy at your local drug store.

Hello! I have a vegan cooking dilemma. I'm a baker professionally and a vegetarian. I'm trying to incorporate more vegan meals into my diet, but using locally-produced whole ingredients like butter, eggs, cheeses, and milk is something I really value, and I notice that lots of vegan baking doesn't seem able to avoid using very processed substitutes (e.g. vegan butter, vegan cheese) with basically untraceable supply chains. I'm open to the solution just being that I have to bake less in a personal capacity and experiment with other kinds of cooking, but I'd love to know your thoughts—I don't want my efforts to live more ethically to disconnect me from my local food scene, but I'm struggling to find vegan baking ingredients that don't cause that to an extent. Is this something you have advice navigating?
(Would-be vegan baker continued) I'm lucky here to live in an area where there's lots of agriculture, so I'm already using locally-grown and produced flours, vegetable oil, fruits, honeys, and so on in my baking. I'm just struggling to find or make substitutes for animal fats that don't involve spending lots of money with corporations totally divorced from the rest of my food landscape :(
It would be helpful if you told me a little more about what kinds of things you'd like to bake! Off the top of my head, I can't actually think of a single recipe that would be impossible to make without store-bought margarine or vegan cheese.
Muffins, cookies, most cakes:
The egg is being used for binding and a little bit of leavening. Replace one egg with 2 Tbsp water + 1 Tbsp vegetable oil + 2 tsp baking powder.
Meringues:
(Or any cake where you're whipping air into 4 or more eggs as a significant part of building structure)
You can make your own aquafaba (the soaking / cooking liquid from chickpeas) for this purpose if you have a source for dried chickpeas.
Pie crusts and other pastry shells:
Make an oil crust. Vegetable oil or refined coconut oil will work for this purpose.
Vegan cheese:
You can make your own cultured 'cheese' out of cashews or almonds, and probiotic capsules. If you don't want to buy probiotic capsules, you can make your own starter culture out of wheat berries.
If recipes are using store-bought substitutes for eggs and butter, it's likely for reasons of quickness / convenience—it probably isn't because the recipe author doesn't see a way to avoid it. Vegan bakers have been getting by without these pre-fab solutions for a long time!
