Why does Peri use a cane in ur AU?

I know other fop artists have there Headcanons on why and I was curious what urs was! c:

Ooh, good one! I’m sure Perry receives a diagnosis at some point in his life, but I’ll refrain from choosing a specific irl condition both for lack of knowledge and bc it’s actually magic related! (I imagine human doctors would have no way to properly identify trace amounts of magic in his system lmao)

The FULL reason is a spoiler so I’ll put the doodle under a cut, but the TLDR is- like canon Poof, Perry is a WISH baby, and later in the AU timeline he has ALL the magic drained from his system for plot reasons (surviving ofc but just left very tired for a while) and when his body slowly started building back up his residual magic, his human immune system had already gotten used to the magic being gone, and starts ATTACKING the ‘foreign bodies’ in his system ☠️☠️, resulting in him needing his cane, and later, his wheelchair. The amount of magic in Perry’s system gradually plateaus over time, but never QUITE returns to the power level he had as a child- I think his medical problems started in high school tbh, when the magic has had some time to replenish- and one day Iris has to unexpectedly CATCH his boyfriend in the hallway bc his knees randomly give out and neither of them have any idea why. Perry suffers flareups like this for the rest of his life, seeming random to human doctors, but usually the magic is actually reacting to other magic around it, or particularly magical times of the year-

Sometimes though, in quiet moments when he’s older, Perry will feel his body start to react, but puts the pain aside, because somewhere deep in his heart, he knows it’s just someone he loves dearly paying a visit, even if he can’t remember them 🧡✨

Lmk if this sounds similar to any IRL condition yall know of- like I said I’m sure Perry HAS a professional diagnosis, it’s just not QUITE accurate bc magic ☠️

With her eyes closed she looked like an angel.

Her voice was sounded just like a sirens song.

Her eyes sparkled in the shadowy mist of the ship. They were the only beacon of light he had.

Her skin was a garden of flowers; her skin was as soft as a cloud

Lies.

They had all been lies coming out of his mouth and into her ears. Words laced with desperation and a longing to survive. He'd played her emotions, found all her weaknesses and exploited them like a scheme for tax evasion.

She had willed herself not to listen but she couldn't help it. She couldn't stop her heart from filling with joy when he'd complimented her, when he'd been kind to her. She couldn't avoid the pride and confidence slowly seep into her heart, evicting the insecurity that had subtly lived there for the longest time.

His words were copper laced with gold. A golden crown made only out of aluminium and zinc.

She could't believe that she'd fallen for him, for his beautiful words.

She now wished that she could throw her fist at the same lips that lied to her, fooled her for their own survival. She wanted to hurt him, to make him feel the same excruciating pain that she did whenever she saw or even heard the daily announcements from his home.

Aria will get her revenge. No matter how long it takes.

She shall make The Prince understand all the hurt he's brought upon her.

Thorin's head jolts into an eager nod as Skoll begins to speak. The eldest Jansen brother is known for spinning captivating tales of gods, lessons, and the intricate threads of fate. The years without the blessing of Skoll's apparent wisdom have only intensified Thorin's curiosity now, rendering him all the more receptive. "Jeg er ikke sikker på hvilken leksjon jeg har lært. Eller skulle lære." Thorin confesses, his words carrying the weight of reflection on the years previous. He had morphed into an unspoken leader, orchestrating a betrayal of his own kind and supernaturals, herding them into camps and facilities in exchange for freedom. A subtle grin flits across his lips, a dutiful acknowledgment of Roan and Rineike's leadership. "Selv om de ønsker en outsider velkommen nå?" he probes, unable to resist teasing out Skoll's thoughts on the matter. "Han var en Beta en stund. Høres ikke det sprøtt ut for deg?"

A scoff echoes through the air as Skoll playfully pats Thorin's head, the action emphasizing Thorin's height. An indignant swat dismisses the attention. "Slutt med det. Jeg har det helt fint! Og hvis du synes jeg er liten, er Esje enda mindre enn meg!" Thorin protests with a mixture of annoyance and pride, his voice resonating loudly. Nevertheless, he can't resist the opportunity to gloat, raising his arms to flex in a display of muscle and a coarse yell. "Ingen ville stille spørsmål ved min styrke!" Thorin laughs heartily as he and Skoll venture away from the town, disappearing into the shadows of the trees. In the embrace of nature, a certain tranquility settles around them, and Thorin's eyes keenly observe his brother. "Tror du? Vel, søker vi eller går vi bare? Som om det kommer til oss?" he quizzes, a curious glint in his eyes as he anticipates the mystery.

Skoll's laughter ends abruptly to Thorin's words and just as fast as it can arrive, it's replaced with a deepened frown. "Leksjoner." he answers, because it apparently means he had one to learn with Nanna. "Det er vanligvis årsakene. Men noen ganger vet vi ikke leksjonen før mye senere." he moves swiftly along topics, aware that dwelling on it will only unearth an insanity that even he considers too intense. Skoll's scoff is more of a snort, it too ingrained in him to find a natural distaste for patience. He's better now that he's older, although some would argue that he's not necessarily wiser. "Vel, vi må stole på henne og Roan. De vet bedre enn oss." his voice is soft again, eyes fixed to the passing Cross that he gives a slow forming smile.

"Størrelsen har ingenting med det å gjøre. Vel ... kanskje hva Loke tenker. Men størrelse har ingenting med styrke å gjøre. Du er ikke så høy." Skoll laughs, turning slightly so his hand can drop to Thorin's head in a quick little pat pat. His focus turns just as quickly as his laughter can become a frown, Skoll pushing onward to leave the town boundary and disappear into the shadow of the trees. There's excitement in his movement, laughing out to Thorin's words. "Bare oss, tror jeg. Vi får se." and when they finally approach into the forest, Skoll feels the air is fresher, cleaner. Immediately, he feels closer to Nanna, a laughter that takes over his entire body for a moment and he skips in place before continuing on. "Jeg tror det er noe her ute som ønsker å bli funnet."

"Sacrifices... had to be made..." - the hero whispered, cowering under the supervillain's murderous stare as they knelt before them. "I- I had to-"

"Had to what?" - Supervillain spat angrily, interrupting Hero and making them flinch in fright. The ropes binding them restricted their panicked breathing even more at the sudden movement as the master criminal snarled down at them. "You think any of your bullshit excuses are going to make me forgive you for nearly killing Villain?"

"I- I had no choice!" - the captive exclaimed, only pissing the other off even more. "I- I h-had to leave them-"

Their words were cut off by a hard slap to their face that sent them reeling backward, falling onto the floor. They tensed up and prepared for more pain as arms landed on their body, the henchmen hauling them back into their previous position.

"Get them out of my sight." - the supervillain hissed, watching as their minions dragged the hero out of the room, the doors shutting with a light thud before silence took over. After a couple of seconds, they turned around to face their currently unreciprocated love, features, and tone of voice softening as they noticed the tears on the other's face. "Villain? Are you okay?"

The villain sniffled and wiped at their face, getting the wet tracks off only for them to be replaced by new ones moments after. They had been holding onto Supervillain's arm throughout the entire exchange, hiding behind them as Hero tried to justify abandoning them to bleed all alone in a dirty alleyway.

Villain opened their mouth to respond, instinctually going to mutter that they were fine, but thinking twice about it as the master criminal's hand gently cupped their cheek and made them lock eyes. A hiccup caught in their breath, followed by a dozen more which quickly morphed into sobs as the supervillain carefully pulled them into their warm embrace, running a hand through their hair and whispering comforting nothings in their ear.

The smaller criminal's face was hidden in Supervillain's shoulder, shaky voice muffled by their now damp shirt. "I- I rea-lly thought t-they- they l-lo-ved me-"

"Shh, it's okay." - the supervillain reassured, letting the villain mumble and cry about their betrayal until they felt better. Eventually, Supervillain guided them onto a couch, getting them to sit down and allowing them to collapse properly in their arms.

The two of them stayed like that for a good hour or two, Villain letting their emotions out while their rescuer comforted them and made sure none of their wounds reopened.

PAC Transactional Analysis Was a theory suggested by Canadian Psychologist named Eric Berne. This theory suggested grown up (people with fully developed mental cogitation system) thinks in generally 3 different states. Parent state (caring or dominating), Adult state (logically reasonable), and Child state (Emotionally indulge). Eric Berne suggested all these states were developed and modified by childhood experience.

So what happened to Yashiro’s childhood?

As we all understand, Yashiro was violated by a grown man at a very young age. A young age when his personality was still in the developing state. While a child was still forming his lifelong personality, the education he received was lust and violence and betrayal. What personality can this child develop?

In CP 35.5, Nanahara made a very powerful statement (Despite he was stupid and idiot and...) : “If he was forced to do it as a child, then he could be twisted into ‘That kind of man’ even if he wasn’t...For him, doing it is like smoking cigarette. It’s not that he wants to do it. He just couldn’t stop.”

Yashiro was twisted into a shameful man at his very young age, and once his personality was fully developed (Usually at 10~15 for regular teenagers), there is no going back for him.

Yashiro knew it is bad to mess around like this. Even he himself feel shameful for his deeds (”I am a twisted man who, even in this twisted path of Yakuza, I can still make out a more twisted path.” CP 42), but this is his daily routine, his personality formed by his twisted pedants. A characteristic that carved into his bone, like the basic system written in a computer as it was created. If there is any changes needed to make in this computer, the only way is to destroy the whole system and start anew.

“If I am to accept him, I will have to abandon myself. What is this meant for me, he will never understand.” (CP 32)

The damage to Yashiro has done. His mental state has finished developing. No matter he felt shameful or prideful for himself, his fate was sealed. If he was to change into a regular man, he will need to abandon his whole personality and develop anew as a child. But who will treat a 40 years old as a 4 years old?

As I see in the story, there is no rescue for Yashiro. I really Really hope Doumeki can do anything to save his broken soul.

Monteriggioni is a town and commune of Tuscany, Italy. It was built in the year 1213 by the overlords of Siena and was actively involved in the defense of Tuscany against Florentine attempts to gain more territory.

At the front of this conflict was the Auditore family, who later became the town's rulers and protectors. The largest building within the town is the Villa Auditore.

Monteriggioni also served as the headquarters of the Italian branch of the Assassin Order from the early 14th century, when Domenico Auditore renovated the villa, to the year 1500, when the town was besieged by Cesare Borgia.

After the death of Dante Alighieri in 1321, Domenico Auditore bought and renovated the villa using funds he had gained from Marco Polo. From then on, Domenico and his son used Monteriggioni as a base of operations in the Assassin’s war against the Templars. During the villa's restoration, Domenico changed its exterior and added a painting gallery. He also hid the armor of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad in the Sanctuary underneath the villa.

In 1296, what would become the Auditore Family Crypt was built in the town. Domenico's memoirs, which told of how he had arrived in Florence and had taken the name "Auditore", would later be inscribed upon the crypt's walls.

At some point in the early or mid 14th century, the Shroud of Eden was brought to Monteriggioni by the Assassins. They faked church records to claim that the artifact was merely a forgery, before hollowing out the well of the town and leaving the Piece of Eden to be protected by elaborate traps.

In 1454, Mario Auditore was made sole ruler of Monteriggioni when his brother, Giovanni, moved to Florence. Mario eventually discovered that a man named Luciano Pezzati was causing conflict within the town, by turning families against each other. After he was captured and interrogated, Luciano revealed that Florence was planning a large attack on Monteriggioni. Mario rallied his forces and successfully managed to repel the Florentine forces led by Federico da Montefeltro. The purpose of the Florentine attack was to acquire an ancient artifact hidden underneath the town. With the help of several architects and historians, Mario eventually discovered the Shroud in the hollowed-out well of the town, and had it removed from Monteriggioni with the help of Giovanni.

Mario began to completely devote his time to the Brotherhood and Monteriggioni gradually fell into disrepair. By 1476, most of the town's shops had closed, the number of visitors to Monteriggioni had decreased, and the upkeep of the Villa Auditore had been neglected.

On New Year's Eve 1476, Mario's nephew, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, took shelter in Monteriggioni along with his mother and younger sister. Ezio later became the town's biggest investor and co-ruler with Mario. For over twenty-three years, Monteriggioni prospered as Ezio used the funds he had gathered during his travels around Italy to reopen the town's shops, barracks, brothel and thieves' guild. The town's church, well, and mines were also reopened.

Significant improvements were also made to the town's infrastructure, and the Villa Auditore was gradually renovated. By December 1499, Monteriggioni had become a vital headquarters of the Assassins. Cannons were also added to the fortress walls.

On January 2nd, 1500, Cesare Borgia – Captain-General of the Papal Army – led a siege on Monteriggioni in order to recover the Apple of Eden that Ezio had taken from the Templars. Though the Assassins were able to temporarily hold off the attack while the citizens were evacuated, the town eventually fell; resulting in Mario being killed, and the buildings of Monteriggioni suffering significant damage.

Following this, the Assassins abandoned the town, relocating their headquarters to Rome, although one Assassin by the name of Lo Sparviero stayed on Monteriggioni, protecting the citizens and guarding the town's secret vaults.

By the 21st century, the town remained largely unchanged from the way that it had appeared during the Renaissance and had become a tourist attraction, with a plaque in front of the ruined Villa Auditore commemorating the siege of the town by the Borgia.

On September 9th, 2012, a small team of modern-day Assassins, composed of Desmond Miles, Lucy Stillman, Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, arrived in the town of Monteriggioni to seek refuge from the Templars of Abstergo Industries. They set up a temporary hideout in the Sanctuary beneath the Villa Auditore.

In Real Life:

Monteriggioni is a comune in the province of Siena in the Italian region Tuscany. It borders on the communes of Casole d'Elsa, Castellina in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Colle di Val d'Elsa, Poggibonsi, Siena and Sovicille. The town is architecturally and culturally significant; it hosts several piazzas, and is referenced in Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

It is a medieval walled town, located on a natural hillock, built by the Sienese in 1214 through 1219 as a front line in their wars against Florence, by assuming command of the Via Cassia running through the Val d'Elsa and Val Staggia to the west.

There were many different conflicts between Siena and Florence in the Middle Ages, so Monteriggioni was strategically placed as a defensive fortification. It also withstood many attacks from both the Florentines and the forces of the Bishop of Volterra. In 1554 the Sienese were able to give control to Giovannino Zeti, who had been exiled from Florence. In 1554, in an act of reconciliation with the Medicis, Zeti simply handed the keys of the town over to the Medicean forces - considered a "great betrayal" by the town's people.

In modern times, Monteriggioni has a "Festa Medievale" that takes place on the first and second weekends of July. It is one of the most famous medieval pageants in Italy. Local people (and professionals) dressed in medieval costume play the roles of farmers, merchants, soldiers, crossbowmen, friars etc. displaying ancient arts and crafts along the few narrow streets and in the piazza. There are also magicians, astrologers, ballad singers, jesters, jugglers and acrobats coming from distant cities, and medieval dishes and drinks are available.

I hope you guys are ready to actually DO stuff in Danish, because this time I present to you: VERBS This post is going to be long, so the rest will be under the cut.

Let’s be real, you can’t talk about verbs without talking about conjugation. In this post I am only going to cover infinitive, present, and past, as it otherwise would be WAY too much grammar. I do plan on making an elaborate post on the tense of verbs though. While there are lots and lots of irregular verbs in Danish, I have good news for you; the conjugation is the same for each person within a specific tense.

Infinitive (infinitiv/navneform): Not much to say here. The infinitive of a verb will often end in -e. If you remove that -e you have what I am going to call the root* (in Danish, stammen), which is the most basic form of your verb. Example: to catch - at fange you remove the -e and tadaa “fang-” is the most basic form of your verb.  Like in English, you have to have the word to, which in Danish is at, in front of a verb in infinitive (i.e. “I like to run” → “Jeg kan lidt at løbe”) *my dictionary is not very helpful concerning grammar words

Present tense (præsens/nutid): Regular verbs add -er to stammen in present tense. Example: sentence - I catch dogs to catch - at fange dog - hund, fk. translation - jeg fanger hunde It is also worth noting that Danish rarely uses expanded present tense, and if it does it is usually expressed as sitting/standing/lying and just doing something (i.e. “i am eating” → “i am just sitting and eating” → subejct + present + just + and + present  → “jeg sidder lige og spiser”).

Past tense (imperfektum/datid): Regular verbs add -ede or -te to the infinitive with out ending in past tense. Example: sentence - I caught dogs translation - jeg fangede hunde Also a lot of verbs that are seemingly regular in present tense will betray you and become irregular in past tense. Do regular verbs even exist in Danish? Who knows? (not me)
