I am super stressed out about everything. But looking at my Shepard helps. Honestly. I’d take on a thresher maw over dealing with family around the holidays.

My he/him friend! I am a secutor of small renown, and I was wondering about your opinion on certain skitarii infantry tactics. See, considering the recent issues in the quality of skitarii equipment, I've had to be creative - and found surprisingly effective the tactic of advancing Rangers to first capture objectives and then move forwards to suicidally charge any enemies that threaten to take them from us. It is their duty to die, but do you think I am being harsh on them?

Rangers are no strangers to suicide missions. We fight and die for the glory of our Omnissiah.

What was once the strategy of Vangaurds has fallen to us. Do we mourn this? No. We see this as an opportunity to show the Vangaurds how it's supposed to be done.

By charging first capture objectives and beginning a push to the next, we give our brothers a head start in victory points. Our capturing ability makes us far better at securing objectives than any Vangaurd could before. We can also force our foes into a choice. Either be more offensive to meet our push and possibly leave their defense less prepared for another attack, or send a small detachment to meet us, which we may have a chance at stopping. If the former, pushing their defense hard while they are foghting our rangers is a good strategy, as they'll have to split their efforts between the two, and the later means you have a shot to win a head to head if the dice are kind to you.

While we are fighting, our brothers also have a chance to bolster defenses and prepare for the onslaught we are attempting to weaken. If we fall in battle it is not for nothing, we are bringing victory, and that is the ultimate goal of every skitarii.

However, I'd argue that when it comes to 10th edition, the best place to look for learning new strategies is to see what tournament goers are planning, as the higher levels of play are the best places to learn.

Might I recommend the pretty savvy strategy tournament organizers are planning on utilizing called "playing a modified version of 10th or just... not playing 10th edition at all"?

The Battle Of Traekach Maximus (pt 1)

Bolts rained above the trench, the Korps gaurdsmen within playing card games whilst waiting for the Chaos Marines to tire their ammo supplies before mounting an offense. They were waiting not out of fear, but because the last offensive push they had ordered had been cut down within seconds of leaving the trenches, without gaining any ground, and so they waited for the bolts of the enemy to grow slower before they charged once more.

Weeks ago, Chaos had come with its soldiers and traitor Astartes to the industrial world Traekach Maximus, bearing death and heresy. They decended like a plague, bolter and rifle fire slaying all who rose against Chaos and their gods.

Then, the Death Korps had arrived.

With a storm of lasgun fire and artillery, heretics fell under the boots of the mighty legions of Krieg, bringing hope to the eyes of the inhabitants of Traekach.

That ceased as the first Traitor Astartes legion had lowered their bolters to aim at the Korps, their heavy calibre bolts ripping the soldiers apart. However, the sheer numbers of Kriegers had overtakan the first, second, and third legion, las rounds, bayonets, and shovels ripping apart heavy war-plate and the flesh beneath, sending heretics back to their dark gods in a cloak of shame and defeat. But that streak of impossible wins soon ground to a halt as Chaos pushed back with rage, with determination in taking Traekach and it's factories.

And that brings us to now.

The krieger by the tag of 3867103 and by the nickname of Earl lay his last cards, winning the game, and a shovel that also doubled as a pickaxe, useful for breaking stone and breaking through helmets. As he was looking over his new shovel, the Commissar walked through the trench, his metal boots emmiting a clank with each step he took. He looked over his soldiers, the metal skull welded to his gas mask excentuating his gaze. At that moment, Earl found that the bolter fire had slowed, if not ceased alltogether. The commissar had noticed this too, and his next order reflected that.

"Ready your weapons, fix your bayonets, and say your prayers. For we charge in a quarter hour"

Earl turned to his fellow Kriegers, and nodded. He stood, and went to ready for the charge. He sharpened his bayonet and fixed it to his rifle, and put his shovel in his belt for when his lasgun ceased to work, either due to running out of ammo or it being ripped away. He made sure his mask was fixed to his head, and then reported to the Commissar for orders.

"When your brethren arrive, then you will join the 32nd and 48th and charge the enemy gun positions. If you succeed in this endevor, then you will be rewarded in a way of your choosing."

Earl nodded, and awaited the rest of the Kriegers who would charge with him.

A short time later, all the Kriegers in this section of the trench were ready, and the order was given to charge. Men pulled themselves up over the walls, and the first wave of them were cut down, heads and torsos exploding the enemy's bolts and lasguns, ruind bodies falling back into the trenches. As this happened, the Commissar ordered for the bodies to be shoved over the edge of the trench to be used in place of sandbags for cover. It was done, and more men began to come from the trench, releasing las shots at the enemy, and falling as the enemy returned fire. However, despite this, the Kriegers had enough cover to begin gaining ground though sheer numbers as they pushed forward. As they got close enough to see the individual insignias on the armor of the Traitor Astartes, the men of the vangaurd began to charge, swarming the Astartes and the sparse mortal soldiers like ants, knives prying off armored plates, guns being jammed into cracks in metal, and one by one, the astartes began to fall, as they were overrun by Kriegers.

But as the last Astartes fell, the ground began to shake. The Kriegers turned to the horizen, and saw the towering shapes of Titans in the mist, marching towards the masses of men.

"Reload your weapons. After the first artillery barage, we charge."

The commissar then took his own advice, releading his bolt pistol as the men around him reloaded their lasguns and cleaned the blood off of their barrels to discourage jamming. Then, they heard whistling in the air. Earl looked to the Titans in the distance, and saw the artillery hit before them, causeing two of them to tip, the explosions having caused their legs to crumple, and he watched as they exploded once they hit the ground.

The commissar also watched, and pointed his sword at the massive engines of war, and said, with utmost calm that comes from serving with the Korps for years:

"Charge."

with a roar, the massed men charged, and lasgun rounds peppered the iron hulls of the Titans, but shot after shot found the exposed mechanical parts in the hips, shoulders, the knees and elbows, and the Titans began to slow, became stiffer as their joints grew weaker. Then, the second artillery barrage hit, and Earl watched as both his comrades and the titans were caught within the explosions. However, that was just part of Krieg life, and he wasn't phased by it, instead having found a ladder on the back of one of the titans, used by heretics to enter the massive war maschines. He climbed it, and wrenched open the hatch at the back of it's torso. Inside was a heretic, forged into the machine, and as they turned around with a look of surprise, hate, and horror on their face, Earl unhooked a grenade from his belt and tossed it into the room within, and quickly climbed back down.

He hit the ground just as the explosion ripped through the torso of the Titan, sending shrapnel outwards, and with the absence of a pilot, the titan tipped, and smashed into the titan next to it, sending them both to the ground, the reactor of the caught titan exploding upon contact with the ground, sending both machines up in a tower of flame. As Earl looked around, he saw that more Kriegers were following what he had done, and the other titans began to fall in quick succession.

With the enemy having been extinguished, the Commissar turned to the men that were left. Only a third of them were left in the wake of the enemie's superior weaponry, but they had won. The Commissar looked over them, and nodded.

"Move up. We re-dig the trenches closer to the city, for that is our next objective."

The men nodded, and unholstered their shovels. The trench began to take form, and Earl looked to the massive city beyond, filled with enough heresy to make the Inquisition sick. As he looked, it seemed to look back at him, beckoning him to free it.

So Ive been thinkin about how Yata is the 3rd most powerful member in Homra and how he was never as strong after Fushimi left. Like the power is meant to protect. Yata wanted his power to protect Fushimi more than anything. Then he assigned himself as Vangaurd to protect everyone. So yeah Yata is powerful because he wanted to protect his loved ones. 

 That brings Kusanagi as 2nd most powerful. What did he protect? As literally the one in charge of everything he protects everyone but as the same time he couldnt keep best friends alive.

 Then it should be mentioned the weaker people which are Tatara and Fushimi. Fushimi is very interesting since with Yata he is super powerful. I think its because he no matter what he wanted to protect Yata. Which really makes me cry when he uses the red power to hurt Yata in the anime. 

 So Tosuka why is he so weak? He doesnt want to protect anyone? No he doest need the hottest flame to protect the person he loves. There would never be a reason for him fight for Mikoto. He protects Mikoto from Mikoto. That why doesnt need anymore power than he has. That is why Tosuka could never be burned. He need that more than red power to protect Mikoto. Im gonna go cry about this now.

Another two I vibe with are the white scars and sallymanders. With the dark Angels and iron warriors coming in a soft vibe.

But yeah, especially recently they've been pushing marines towards a strick cqb role. Which, I dunno. I kinda get? Put your beefiest boys in your vangaurd, but like, your whole strategy shouldn't be based around the charge of the light brigade.

Have you ever thought about a space tf2 AU and Scout with a space jet pack?

Kinda sorta??? I’ve thought about a M.ass E.ffect AU if that counts??

Like-- I know Scout would be a biotic (mostly because of the vangaurd configuration and that sweet sweet charge ability), so instead of using a jump jet like they use in Andromeda, she would use the biotic jump instead (again because of the vanguard configuration in me:a).

In addition to the whole biotic thing, I feel like she’d be the only one in her family to be a biotic since apparently the more common way of being born biotic is if your mother is around element zero a ton while she’s still carrying you, and I feel that fits so well with Spy being her mother since?? She’s a spy??? Probs going to be around that shit a ton.

I mean, it’s not a completely fleshed out AU, but I do know that she would be apart of the Alliance military due to her biotics and skill with it. Don’t think she’d be apart of the N7 though? But maybe? Like a lower rank like either N1, N2, or N3. Def a Vangaurd tho. But from there, I don’t know exactly what I want to do with it since I’ve thought about three things:

1) She leaves the Alliance to become a smuggler/mercenary, but does fight against the reapers in the main series for the Milky Way2) Continues in the Alliance and again; fights the reapers for the Milky Way3) She joins the Andromeda Initiative early and went through the uprising. Undecided if she would leave or not though.

Like-- Playing ME:A did give me some muse for the AU but just-- undecided on so many things because so many things change depending on what’s going on, and I can see her doing a ton of different things like the big two: leaving for andromeda and staying in the milky way

Another 1000 word Jaal x Ryder fic, filling the prompt- ‘May I touch your hair?’ 

Slight spoilers under the cut.

Jaal and Fiona were working on their sniper rifles together- ever since she'd used Jaal's gun in a pinch, she'd fallen in love with sniping. Her gun, a black widow modded to all hell, was swiftly becoming something of a pet project. She took pride in hauling the heavy weapon around, and while it didn't mesh with her fighting style ("Why carry around a sniper rifle, Fiona? You're a vangaurd, you should have a shotgun," Cora had said), it was more than powerful enough to put a round through whatever they came up against. In fact, it was her go to weapon for dealing with Architects. The carnifex pistol packed punch, sure, but there was nothing like the black widow. Besides, she had a flaming sword for those close quarters engagements.

Fiona noticed a distinct lack of noise as she was calibrating her scope, glancing up to see Jaal staring at her, pupils wide. 

"What?" She asked, coming across slightly more defensive than she meant to. Jaal blinked once, his eyes narrowing again as he broke from his train of thought.

"Your hair is... interesting. The angara don't have it. What is the point?" He wasn't one to mince words, and Fiona raised an eyebrow. This was a common question among the Milky Way species, of course it would come up here.

"You know, in all of my travels, humans are the only space-faring species with hair. I'm not really sure why we still have it- it used to provide warmth, when it covered more of our bodies. Now it's just kind of there? I don't know. I like it though." She ran a hand through her brown waves and shrugged, a small smile on her face. Jaal turned his head to the side slightly and narrowed his eyes, observing her closely.

"May I touch it?" He asked, and Fiona blinked, surprised.

"My hair..? I mean, I guess," she replied, blushing as Jaal stepped closer. The soft, spicy scent that surrounded Jaal intensified with the shift, warming Fiona from the inside. It smelled amazing.

He was hesitant, his hand hovering next to her cheek; she took the opportunity to look at the details of his face. His eyes were blue, yes, but they had a violet tint to them, a burst of color around his pupils. There were speckles of color that wound through his skin, and they almost seemed to change. ‘Maybe because of the electric field they generate?’ she thought, her mind constantly stuck on overdrive. That same field had started to affect her, her hair reacting as if his hand was charged with static. It clung to him as he took a wave between his fingers ever-so-gently, and his brow furrowed.

“It’s soft,” he breathed, running it between his fingertips. “Why does it stick to me like that?”

His touch had sent shivers across her scalp, and Fiona took a moment to regain her composure.

“Your bioelectric field, I think. Hair clings to static.” It was the best theory she had, and Jaal seemed to accept it.

“That… would make sense, yes. It’s much lighter than I thought it would be.” He took more into his hands, this time letting it fall through his fingers. “Other humans on board have different colors, different textures. Can you change that at will?” Jaal had started playing with it now, obviously unaware of the number of boundaries he was crossing. Fiona decided to roll with it, enjoying the feeling.

“We can use artificial dyes to change the color, and we sometimes use heat to style it in different ways. My hair tends to take this shape by itself though, and I don’t dye it.” She was thinking of the last color her hair had been- bright cyan. Not a good time in her life.

“Hm. It smells sweet,” he observed, and she raised her eyebrows.

“You can smell my shampoo?”

“Is that a scent you put in it? Angara use perfumes and lotions as a symbol of status, is it the same for humans?” He was intrigued, as was Fiona.

“No, not quite. We use different cleaning agents to keep our hair healthy. You know, soft and shiny. I use one with a honeysuckle scent. I actually need to buy more next time we’re on the Nexus.” She mentally told SAM to put it on her checklist.

“Honeysuckle?” Jaal had released her hair, but he hadn’t stepped back. Fiona didn’t really mind.

“It’s a species of plant. It has sweet nectar that you can drink from the flower.”

“That is fascinating. We have similar plants on Havarl, but there are also poisonous varieties that look very similar.” Jaal paused to contemplate something, scrutinizing Fiona before she had a chance to reply. “Humans are very soft.”

“I- yes, I suppose we are. All the other Milky Way species say that. ‘Squishy humans, made of water, can’t take a hit,” she snorted, but Jaal wasn’t making a jab.

“No, not ‘squishy,’ soft. Your hair, your skin. You are not rough or dry. The angara value that, it is why we use lotions so much. You are very soft, Fiona.” Jaal watched her carefully, eager to see her reaction.

“Oh,” she murmured, realizing he was paying her a compliment. She could feel the heat up to the tips of her ears- she had to have been bright red. “Well, thank you. I moisturize,” she joked, diffusing the tension; she swore she could cut it with a knife.

“Humans use lotions too?” Jaal’s eyes widened again, his visor flickering- obviously she’d piqued his interest.

“Yeah, some of us. I do after I shower, it’s very relaxing.” That was a blatant flirt, Fiona thought, kicking herself for being so obvious. Jaal took it well though, his fringe turning a deeper shade of blue. Was he… blushing?

“That is intriguing. You will have to show me what types you use, I will see if we have any that you would like. Floral scents, I assume?” He finally stepped back, if only slightly. Fiona immediately felt the air around her change as his bioelectric field moved away, and she missed the way it made her hair stand on end.

“How did you know?” She laughed, turning back to the workbench.

“The room smells sweeter when you walk in, scents I don’t know. I assume they are plants from your galaxy- they must be lovely, by the aroma.”

Jaal’s genuine response made her stomach flip, butterflies jumping from her stomach into her throat.

“W- well,” Fiona sputtered, focusing on her rifle, “I’ll show you some time.”

“I would like that,” Jaal rumbled, and they carried on with their work.

December 28th 2016 - March 12th 2017. Hiroshima Part 2, New Year, A Visit From Some Old Friends, Birthdays and a Few Long ‘See-you’s!’.

Opps. I got lazy. What else is new? As per usual a bunch has happened since I last wrote. Things got busy basically as so as I started back after Winter Break and I haven’t had time to think. Or sleep properly. But hey, that’s being an adult right?

On the 28th I got on the Ferry and took myself to Hiroshima for a few days of shopping and just wandering around. I met up with an old Uni friend and her sister. We went out for dinner on my first night in the city, I took them to the big Okonomiyaki tower and then Hannah and I walked around the Heiwadori Illuminations.

We hit the Itsukushima Shrine on the 29th and I climbed up Mt Misen from the top of the Ropeway station. I had taken like three steps into the bush track when two Pheasants ran out in front of me. I nearly had a heart attack because at first I thought they were snakes, because all I saw were their tail feathers, but then they started clucking at me/each other and I spotted the rest of their bodies as they bolted up the hill. The view from the top of the mountain was pretty amazing. It would have been better if it had been a clear day though. There was snow on the mountains on the mainland, but the sky was pretty grey and you couldn’t see out to the other islands as well as you can when the sun is out.

On the 30th we got on the Ferry and came back to Matsuyama. We climbed up to the Castle for the sunset and then I took them out to my fave Izakaya. I think we went our own ways pretty early that night in prep for doing stuff the next day. On the 31st they explored Matsuyama a bit, and I sorted my life out before meeting them at their hostel. We watched the Kouhaku (Red and White Singing Wars) together with the other guests in the house plus the lady who was in charge. At a little before midnight we went up the road to a wee pub behind the Dogo Onsen and saw in the new Year with a beer, and then we climbed up the stairs to the Shrine on the top of the hill for Hatsumode.

On New Years Day Hannah and I met Jiovaane and a few other ALTs to go “Fukubukuro” shopping. Basically this is when you get to the mall as soon as it opens and the go and buy a pre-bundled lucky bag from a shop. You can pay anywhere from 1000yen to over 20000yen for a bunch of stuff. I got bags from Right On, Village Vangaurd and a sports store. I basically paid 25000yen and got over 40000yen worth of clothes and home goods. It was a cool experience.

Hannah left on the 2nd or 3rd and I celebrated my birthday on the 4th. I’m 24 now apparently. Probably should start planning what I’m going to do with my life from now on...

Nothing much other than work happened between then and the Tsubaki-Matsuri on the 3rd-4th-5th of Feb. I went down with my mates on the 4th. A bunch of my students were there and said hello. A group of my third-year JHS kids stuck around and tried to figure out what we were saying. During that weekend we went and saw a concert/live show that one of our Japanese friends was playing with his new band “Seaslugs”. It was pretty cool!

On the 11th of Feb, the Chuyo RA held a “Harry Potter” Murder mystery night which was a heap of fun. Props again to Jiovaane and his imagination for making the night enjoyable.

On the following weekend one of the other ALTs had a game night at his house, where a bunch of JET Program ALTs, Private ALTs, Eikaiwa teachers and University Students were massive nerds and played board and card games. We also ate a heap before going back into town and hitting the bar. The following night was also a game night, this time at Mat’s, as him and his girlfriend were getting ready to leave for travel. Both nights were a blast even if I was shattered by the end of the weekend.

On the 25th, my mate from Uni came and visited. She took me out to a wee station on the ocean front famous for it’s sunset. Shimonada was the name of the place. We got out there and enjoyed the view with a surprising number of other tourists. It was such a great day for it though. The sun was out and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. It was a bit hazy out towards the islands, but as the sunset drew near, it got easier to see out to where the islands were. There was lovely older couple who volunteer out at the station who made an effort to come and talk to us both. The old dude was super keen on photography and helped Misa out with a few cool angles and shots of the station and the islands. The Iyonada-Monogatari, a local sight seeing train, pulled up a little before the sun started to properly set, and everyone scrambled to snap photos of it. It was about twenty minutes after that that the sun started to do it’s thing. We snapped a few shots and then jumped back on our train to Matsuyama.

That night we went out for dinner and then walked into town to meet up with my mates. There was a birthday/farewell party on for Mat, Miku and Paul. It was a good night, albeit a bit sad. But that’s what happens when you live in another country. People come and go fairly regularly.

Misa and I went up to Matsuyama Castle in the morning and got some shots of the plum blossoms and the castle itself before we walked down to JR Station and parted ways. It was really cool to catch up with someone from Otago. It’s amazing how far everyone has come since graduation.

On the 4th of March I went and watched my Baseball boys play a game. Basically the pitcher had been bugging me to come and watch them play since I watched them lose a game at the fall tournament. This time they played fiercely and stole a last minute win. It was really neat to see how confident they’ve become since September. I’m hoping to catch the Girls Basketball team play next weekend. I havent watched them play yet, but a few of them have been bugging me to come watch since they heard I went to the soft tennis tournament to support their classmates there. Which is fair enough - and I am honestly looking forward to it. It’s really awesome that they want me there, and that even if the hate English as a subject, they’re not opposed to interacting with me in English outside of the classroom.

This Friday night, a bunch of us went and had nabe (hotpot) at Dillions in celebration of his birthday. Basically we cooked, ate, played card games and just enjoyed each others company. After how hectic the last few weeks have been, it was really nice. The food was fantastic too, Yukie made the soup base and it turned out really well.

Last night we all met at Pauls place for another game night/the actual birthday party for Dillion. We played Dixit (which is a fantastic abstract concept game), at a bunch of junkfood, watched a bunch of youtube and then got on our bikes and headed into town to continue at the bar. I got home fairly early bar.

Today I basically woke up and hit the ground running to get chores done before rolling out the door to do a bit of exploring. I finally stuck my head into the shrine by the castle park moat. It was super cute, and the lighting was really nice. There was also a part where you could hang over and photograph the fish from close up, which was really cool. I also went up to the big cemetery on the hill. I wanted to take photo’s of the cats that hang out there and live off of the offerings people leave. I found a few but wasn’t fast enough to get pictures. Still it was nice to get out into the sun and see parts of the city I hadn’t.

Basically in between the busy weekends, there’s been even busier weeks. I go to Karate twice a week from 7pm-9pm and I have a Japanese Lesson every Tuesday from 4.30-5.30pm. I study, clean and plan lessons on the other nights, so I haven’t really had much in the way of a proper break for a couple of months. Being this social really takes it out of me. Not that I hate it, I’m just not used to it after so long being a hermit Today was the first time in forever I had some time to myself and could ride my bike around for the sake of it.

I finished teaching my 3rd Year JHS students on Monday this week. I have one lesson left with all the other classes from ES grade 5 to 2nd year JHS. My ES kids have done so well over the last couple of months, the 6th graders surprised me with their creativity when doing the Momotaro unit of Hi Friends and also with their dreams for the future.

Graduation for my JHS kids is this week on the 16th. I’m going to cry so hard. I really hated teaching them last year, but something changed this year and they became really cool to teach. I think because I’ve known them for nearly two years now. that it will be harder than last year. ES Graduation is on the 23rd, but that’s not so hard as most of them come to the JHS. A couple of my favorites are leaving to other schools though, largely for special needs or sporting reasons. Which is really cool but sad at the same time. The teacher shuffle happens in April too, which will be interesting.

I’m going to Osaka South Korea with one of the other ALTs on the 25th of March. So I’m looking forward to that and the three day weekend next weekend. Hopefully the political situation will stabilize a little bit there so we’re ok.

This has been a bit drier/disjointed than the last couple of entries, but to be honest I am so tired. I just wanted to get everything down before I forgot it all and had some time to think.

In an old Clovis Bray lab laying on a table we see figure. Next to the frame is a body clothed in old hunter armor. We hear some soft wirring and see the eyes light up. The exo gets up and stares at the long dead hunter before pulling on the garb. They find a ship and head towards earth. As they dissapear towards Earth we pan to Mars. Slumped inside a dilapidated building we see a body. As the ghost revives it we see arc energy crackle up one arm and void flow up the other. The camera pans up and we see a black woman return to life. She gasps and coughs before grabbing her helmet and nodding at her ghost. Together they head towards Fire Base Rubicon and steal a ship to head to Earth. Finally we go see our warlock wake up. He's an awoken laying in crashed ship. It has markings of the reef on it and we see the familar moutain pass of Twilight Gap. Arc and Void energy swirld across his body as he awaken and slowly pulls himself out of the wreckage. He turns towards the tower in the distance and begin on foot. All the while we hear either "radioactive" by imagen dragons or "centuries" by fall out boy playing.

First we see the gaurdians struggle as a team. Not knowing how to work together or wield their light. They dont just jump to "god tier" and we get to see them learn how to BE GAURDIANS. They die dozens of times (just from what we see) but eventually we see see them finally in those classic year 1 vangaurd armor, stepping up to a montage of ass kicking from the mothyards to the world's grave to the gate of The Vault of Glass. Song for said montage ass kicking montage? "Hey mama" by the black eyed peas.

Now, we skip further into the movie and see our gaurdians enter the black garden. And we hear the original boss music start up as they defeat the darkness there. We see the celebration and the screen fades to black again. The speaker's voice comes to us again. "We did not heed the warnings of Toland. Of Ikora. And so our gaurdians had one more job left." We hear gun shots and blasters as he trails off and we are back infront of the Vault of Glass. They get it open and as they reach the oracle stage they show struggle again. Our titan stands over her wounded fireteam, ward of dawn straining to hold back the onslaught when all of a sudden a flash of purple blue and yellow blinds her. The smoke clears and standing in the middle of scattered vex husks we see Commander Zavala, still charged with arc energy. Coming from the left of our fireteam we see Ikora, her hands glowing with void energy, and Cayde-6 with his golden gun flickering out of his hands. "Thought you could use a hand" we hear from Cayde. The now raid team regroups and pushes on. "My songs know what you did in the dark" by fall out boy plays as they fight their way to Atheon. Together, the 6 of them defeat the vex "god" and start to return to the surface. Our movies ends there.

I am convinced that if done right, Destiny and Destiny 2 could be badass movies.

It would start with the vanilla story, but add in all the lore from the grimoir cards. We would see an Exo wake up and meet their fire team. The titan would be a POC girl and our warlock could be a guy who turns to Ikora as a role modle. We could see this team grow together and even lose fights. None of the “well they’re the heroes so they never lose” bullshit. We could see the vangaurd warn them and have Cayde-6 show up to rescue them with Zavala and Ikora. See the vangaurd flex a bit. Then its Vangaurd teaming up with our new heroes to go fight atheon in the vault of glass!

The second movie would be “The Dark Below” and climax with the Crota raid. We meet 3 new gaurdians and instead of any of them forming the standard love intrest they juat become a fucking team. The end of this one is the raid team in the tower and Ikora’s ghost recieves a distress signal from the reef. BOOM! HOUSE OF WOLVES.

We start the 3rd movie “The Taken King.” It drops into a battle of the reef vs the house of wolves. We finish off Skolas then we get the Phoboes distress beacon. BOOYAH WE SEE OUR TEAM FIGHT THE TAKEN. Again we end in the raid. Seeing Oryx float off into space.

Next is “Rise of Iron” and the first scene is Saladin recaping the legend of the Iron Lords. It slowly fades to the vangaurd talking about Felwinter. They reach out to the gaurdians again, but now it’s 3 new gaurdians we havent met. We have a black human hunter with the dope ass “iron man inside helmet” view at first. And where are these new badasses? The prison of elders bitch! They get summoned to the tower and told to go check out the iron temple. Now one of the big moments we get in this will be that for the big raid, Saladin Shiro and FUCKING SHAX join our gaurdians to fight siva!

Im gonna stop here but…please gaurdians add on more of what you think would be amazing in said movies!

First of all, Alice didn't kill anyone during her time in the Vangaurd and while it doesn't excuse Brute for what he did with the Blood Purge, he wasn't in his correct sate of mind when it happend. I don’t think she’d be responsible for what they did. As I said in a previous post, it boils down to what I think COULD happen to her because her failure to seek help could be construed as being complicit in her father’s crimes. Laws are different everywhere though. So perhaps places like Aselia won’t prosecute against a minor who fails to alert authorities to criminal activity. But it’s also possible to construe Alice’s death as vigilante justice which is usually frowned upon by the law. I do agree that Brute isn’t entirely at fault. It’s unclear how quickly a centurion core deteriorates a person’s sanity, so it’s possible he could have been aware the core wasn’t safe but kept using it because of its powers. But I presume that most of his actions could be justified as ��insanity” but that depends on whether or not the people of Aselia believe the cores can influence people. If Lloyd and the others testified to that effect, I’m sure Brute could be cleared of most charges.
