When Should I Take a Private Yacht Charter
Where do you want to go on a private yacht charter vacation? There are limitless possibilities, according to crewed yacht brokers. Popular destinations for a United States sailing vacation include San Diego, Chicago, Yachts Cayman, Honolulu, Hilton Head, Martha's Vineyard, Fort Lauderdale, Galveston, Long Island and Annapolis, yet why stop there? A whole lot more awaits you, which are all discoverable by power boats and luxury yacht charters!
A Mediterranean private yacht charter has much to offer. In Spain, you can discover the passionate flamingo dancers and proud matadors, sip sangria, eat delicious olives and enjoy modern marinas from Barcelona to Valencia. Euro club goers and party animals can't miss the amazing entertainment venues on Ibiza, where vibrant beaches are as world renowned as the nightlife.
Some of the other Balearic Islands offer a quieter respite, from the secluded beaches of Formentera, to the cobble street village of Cindadella, to the culture-rich fishing village of Mallorca to the National Park on Dragonera. Other Mediterranean destinations include Greece, Croatia, Turkey, France and Italy.
For those chilly winter months, why not take a private yacht charter to the warm Caribbean waters? Travelers come to the Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas for the white sandy beaches, the pleasant trade winds, turquoise waters, West Indian cuisine and fun activities year-round.
There are more than 100 Virgin Islands, offering a plethora of coves for snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving, surfing, marine-life watching and lounging. On the shores, you will enjoy dancing, frozen blender drinks, crafts from local artisans and the dramatic mountain peak topography.
In the Bahamas, you can feast on spicy cuisine, fish on beautiful beaches, snorkel underwater grottos, gaze upon a habitat of 60,000 flamingos, star gaze the midnight skies, dance in nightclubs and splash around at the world-renowned Atlantis water-park and culture center. A sailing charter in the Cayman Islands will whisk you away to the famous Seven Mile Beach (one of the best in the world!), the historic Pedro St. James castle, scuba diving shipwrecks in Cayman Brac, bird watching the rare red-footed Booby on Little Cayman and partaking in the museums and shops of George Town. Nothing beats the winter blues like a Caribbean yacht excursion!

The Commonwealth of Valencia is silent tonight after it was confirmed that Her Majesty Queen Grace has passed after a plane crash over Belomisia, in Selvadorada General Hospital. The Selvadorian Government announced her death just before 2 o’clock this morning; Geraldi Palace confirmed the news not long after.
His Royal Highness the Duke of Cannes survived his minor injuries and was told the news first. There is no word on when HRH will be returning to Valencia.
The royal family, who have been spending the rest of their winter vacation at Lanova, will be making their way back to the palace first thing in the morning. They ask the people of Valencia for privacy during these heartbreaking times, respectfully.
His Royal Highness, now His Majesty King Philip, is expected to address the nation in the coming days. Flags will be flown half mast as the entire Commonwealth is set to observe a 12- day mourning period.

Valencia x Windasia Royals Winter Getaway
It is not a secret that the Duchess of Trent and the Crown Princess of Windasia are very close friends after the both of them made each other the godmother of each other’s sons. So it was no surprise when several photos of the two royals on vacation with their families went viral online. Both the Crown Princess couple and the Duke and Duchess of Trent were at Queen Helena’s coronation yesterday and has been planning for a joint holiday between the two families since before the war broke out. Right after the coronation event ended, the Crown Princess couple rode on the Duke and Duchess of Trent’s private jet and flew to Esnea to begin their short getaway and take some time away from their royal duties.
Both royal families have agreed that they will be spending their winter break at the Windasia royal family’s winter home and go-to honeymoon destination where the Crown Princess and her husband went to a few years ago. From the photos that went viral, the two families looked cozy and it seemed like they enjoyed spending their time together after being so busy in the past few months. Even the two little Prince’s seemed cheerful as they ran around the place ahead of their parents.
Tumblr media
On the first day of their trip, the royal families only went sight seeing and the Duchess and Crown Princess went Ice skating while their sons were being watched over by their husbands and nannies. Sofia was seen teaching Sophie how to skate and seeing how hesitant the Duchess is when skating, it looked like it will take her a while before she gets used to playing on the skating rink.
Tumblr media
After a while of skating on the rink, their sons’ nannies came to them with a sleeping Alfie and a still energized Prince Andrei in tow. Both were looking for their ‘mommies’ and Prince Alfie reportedly wanted his mommy to tuck him in bed for a nap.
Tumblr media
On the next day, it was their husband’s turn to have some fun in the snow and the two Princes opted for a ski on the snowy mountains. Both were seen chatting with each other before riding the cable car to reach the top of the mountain and skied from there to the bottom of the snowy mountains.

Exspaining Spain: regions
Valencian Community (Comunitat Valenciana/Comunidad Valenciana)
Tumblr media
The Valencian Community has three provinces, Alicante (Alacant), Castellón (Castelló), and Valencia (València). The capital city is Valencia.
Tumblr media
(The map shows a territory marked as Castile and León, but it is in fact Castilla–La Mancha. Also, it should be Catalonia, not Catelonia.)
Architecture
The traditional architecture of the region is characterized by plastered white walls, gabled roofs, and rounded entrance arches.
Tumblr media
Climate
The predominant climate type is the Mediterranean one, characterized by hot summers and cool winters. There are heavy rains in spring and the fall. The average temperature throughout the year is 17.4 °C (63.3 ºF).
Economy
Agriculture has significantly decreased in relevance in the past century, but citrus fruits are still the main crops.
Tumblr media
Tourism is the most important economic activity nowadays, attracting both nationals from inland Spain and foreigners.
Famous people
Anabel Medina Garrigues - tennis player
Camilo Sesto - singer
Gabriel Miró - writer
Isabel-Clara Simó - writer
Nino Bravo - singer
Raúl Bravo - soccer player
Santiago Calatrava - architect
Vicente Blasco Ibáñez - writer
Vicent Ferrer - saint
Gastronomy
The Valencian diet is based on rice, fish, seafood, vegetables, meat, and citrus fruits. Typical dishes include paella (rice dish with vegetables and either chicken and rabbit or seafood), arròs negre (rice with squid and squid ink), fideuà (noodles and seafood), coques (salty pastries), and fartons (pastry fingers usually dipped in orxata, a drink made of tiger nuts).

5th century CE - Alans and Visigoths
711 - Muslim invasion
13th century - Kingdom of Valencia

Languages
Spanish and Valencian are the official languages of the region. Valencian is a dialect of Catalan that differs from the latter in phonology, morphology, and vocabulary. Although most of the population has at least passive knowledge of Valencian, its social use is declining, as only one third uses it at home.
Monuments and landmarks
There are three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia (Valencia), Palmeral of Elche (Alicante), and Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin on the Iberian Peninsula (shared with other regions of Spain).

❊ ◜WEST ORLANDO .// demographics

❊ ◜WEST ORLANDO .// windermere
population //. 3261 median age //. 46.6 years median household income //. 114k careers of residents (most popular) //. management, sales, office and administrative, arts/design/sports/&media  about windermere;; windermere consists of luxury gated neighborhoods with winding roads leading to homes that start at 800k on the lowest and range up to several million dollars. tiger woods used to call windermere home, though he’s since vacated the property. following the back roads through windermere can lead you right up to the back of magic kingdom, which can be a little bit eerie to see. for those that aren’t wealthy enough to own a million dollar home, you can still find home in windermere for the low, low price of about $1700 a month for approximately a thousand square feet of living space. nonetheless, windermere is a safe area close to disney ... so a great many cast members will suck up the high cost of living, stack eight cast members on top one another, and cram into an apartment for the sole purpose of being close to work.
❊ ◜WEST ORLANDO .// winter garden&ocoee
population //. 142k  median age //. 36.6 median household income //. 60k careers of residents (most popular) //. teachers, school administrators, nurses, managers, servers, cooks  about winter garden&ocoee;; winter garden and ocoee are as different as night and day, yet they so often get lumped together because they quite literally slam right into one another and it’s difficult to tell where winter garden stops and ocoee begins. winter garden is a great deal more middle class than windermere is, with more modest homes that go for around $500k. on average, rent is about $1400 a month for 997 square feet of living space. it’s a fairly quiet place to live, far enough away from the theme parks that you can get some peace and quiet from the tourist life but close enough that you can drive to disney in about twenty minutes and you don’t even have to get on I4. you’ll find a lot of small families here. this is another popular living destination for cast members. ocoee, on the other hand, is on the lower middle class to poorer side of things. your average house will go for around $200k, and while there are definitely nice parts of ocoee ... parts of colonial (ie: the west oaks mall) lean on the less-safe side of things. ocoee does have the first oriental market, the largest asian grocery store in central florida and a very small “china town,” with a bubble tea store, a noodle bar manned by underpaid college students, and several other retails. the shopping center is in a state of disrepair, but those that frequent the area don’t seem to mind.
❊ ◜WEST ORLANDO .// metrowest/millenia/oakridge
population //. 115k median age //. 34.1 years median household income //. 36k careers of residents (most popular) //. customer service, cashier, retail, server, cook, janitor, landscaping, housekeepers, truck drivers about metrowest&oakridge;; the metrowest, millenia, and oakridge area is easily identifiable as one of your less affluent parts of orlando. metrowest is a mix of middle class and more impoverished residents. home to valencia college, the area directly surrounding valencia is home to young students, universal team members, and some young families. there are some higher end apartment complexes and gated neighborhoods leading closer to dr phillips, rent averages about $1400 a month (the price being driven up by complexes closer to dr phillips) for a decent sized apartment. head down conroy-windermere road and you’ll be in millenia which is another mixed bag. the millenia mall is the focal point in this area, housing luxury and brand name stores that cater to wealthier shoppers and tourists who have traveled from abroad for a good american bargain. there is also the only ikea in orlando, if you need your swedish meatball fix. surrounding the mall are apartment complexes that throw various labels of “resort style living,” and “luxury” onto their name to drive property value in millenia sky high. surrounding millenia, however, are oakridge and orange blossom travel where you’ll find lower income apartment complexes, government subsidized housing, pawn shops, thrift stores, and more strip clubs than you could ever count. while the apartment complexes are run down, the streets in need of repair, and the crime rate high ... there is a strong culture in this general area. if you want good hispanic, cajun, or creole food ... this is the place to come. this is also one of the few places in orlando to find bodegas and ethnic grocery stores. rent in the millenia and oakridge area averages $1200 a month, with rent closer to millenia being higher and towards oakridge being lower.

Marseille, a port city in southern France, has been a crossroads of immigration and trade since its founding by the Greeks circa 600 B.C. Travelers visit the port city of Marseille, the third largest city in France, for the meeting of style and history.
Marseille is the  "oldest city in France"  and indeed one of the oldest in western Europe. The city was founded as Massalia in around 600 BC, and soon developed into an important port in the ancient Greek world.  Rather in the same way as Genoa or Naples, Marseilles' importance as a port, rather hindered its development as a tourist destination; and while other Mediterranean ports like Barcelona, and Valencia began to develop their tourism in the 1970's, Marseilles  did not. Why do you only tip 6 percent in France? Why don't we tip the same way in France, as we do in America then? In France, waiters are paid a living wage. That means that they don't depend on tips to supplement their salary, like waiters do in the US.
Do French restaurants include tip? Unlike in America, cafes and restaurants in Paris, and the rest of France include a 15 percent service charge in the check, which is required by French law. The words service compris indicate that, the tip has already been included, so take a good look at the bill when it arrives.
Can I just move to France? Yes, as with anything administrative in France, moving here as an American involves a lot of paperwork. However, those wanting just a taste of France won't need a visa, if the trip is for fewer than 90 days, (unless you're a diplomat, or a journalist). All you need is a passport that's valid for at least three months.
Which is the richest city in Europe? Luxembourg, the capital city of the small European nation of the same name, was named as the richest metropolis in Europe. The city is the richest city in Europe in terms of GDP per capita, according to the study.
The city of Marseille was created in the 6th century BC, when Greek explorers met with the local tribes, in the north bank of today´s Vieux port, and decided to settle taking advantage of the natural conditions to stablish a port. The colonist from Phocaea named the new town Massalia. Later on, in the year 49 BC, Caesar conquered the city in the expansion of the roman empire. The name changed to Massilia, and the economic activities focused on the port continued to expand.
Nowadays the city of Marseille is the second, urban agglomeration in France, after Paris. It has a population of 850 thousand inhabitants, and almost 1,8 million in the metropolitan area. The port still plays an important role in the economy, and the labor market. The city has stablish itself as an important tourism destination, and is integrated in the PACA region, (Provence, Alpes and Cote d´Azur), which is one of the most attractive regions for tourism, and leisure activities. The physical geography is typical from this part of the Mediterranean, with an accidental topography, including mountains entering directly into the water with very few flat area.
Marseille, the oldest city of France, overflows with cultural, architectural, and artistic treasures to discover. It is a tourist destination particularly appreciated by the French, and foreigners. Between tradition and modernity, the city of Marseille is waiting for you. From the Vieux Port (Old Port), to the Calanques (rocky inlets), by way of the Panier district, and the Corniche facing the sea, you will certainly be amazed by the beauty of the cosmopolitan city. Beyond the game of Pétanque, and its football club Olympique de Marseille (OM), Marseille reveals itself behind its emblematic monuments, such as the Château d’If, Les Docks, the Palais de la Bourse, the Fort Saint Jean fortification, Notre-Dame de la Garde, the Palais Longchamp, the Marseille Cathedral of la Major to name just a few.
European Capital of Culture in 2013, Marseille aims to be a destination of choice for art, and culture enthusiasts. Still in 2013, Marseille inaugurated the MuCEM, a museum dedicated to the Mediterranean civilizations of the 21st century. It is today one of the most visited museums. In the historic center of the city, you can also go to La Vieille Charité. There, you will find many cultural structures: the Mediterranean archaeology museum, the African, Oceanic, and Native American art museum (MAAOA), but also a cinema, a bookshop…
While exploring the city, alone or with a guide, immerse yourself in the local culture, and discover the traditions of Marseille. Relax on the terrace of a restaurant, under the southern sun, to taste Marseille’s cuisine. Let yourself be tempted by the bouillabaisse, a fish specialty, or by the pieds paquets, the panisses, etc. If you were to bring back only one souvenir of Marseille, no doubt you would choose the famous soap. Particularly effective, and renowned, it can be used to clean skin, hair, clothes, floors, walls… Ideally located, the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, is a starting point for various tourist destinations accessible by train, plane and boat.
Shop at La Canebière. This famous avenue is the wealthy shopping heart of Marseille. It’s sometimes compared to The Champs Elysees in Paris, where luxury brands alternate with cafes and restaurants. This wide street starts from Le Vieux Port, and stretches all the way to the Capucin neighborhood. La Canebiere is not as glamorous as it used to be, but is still one of the most important streets of Marseille, and was featured in the movie French Connection 2.
Try the most famous Bouillabaisse soup. Bouillabaisse is Marseille’s most famous dish, and the way they serve it here is surprisingly different from what you may have seen outside the Provence region. Here, the broth is served separately from the fish, and the stew is made with 3 local, bony fish that originally could not be sold at the market. Many restaurants around the old harbor serve it the traditional way, but don’t be surprised if it’s not as cheap as you may think.
End the day at La Caravelle in the old harbor. End the day at the harbor where you started it, with a traditional anise-flavored spirit from the south of France called Pastis. A great place to conclude your exploration of Marseille, is by relaxing on the terrace of La Caravelle, with a view of the Vieux Port, and the illuminated basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. The bar also hosts jazz concerts 3 times a week.
Corrupt, dangerous and brutal to its poor – but is Marseille the future of France? The truth is Marseille is the one city, that possesses the dynamism the rest of France seems to have misplaced. Mémain rhapsodises: “When my friends from Paris, and Bordeaux take the bus here, they start crying. C’est la force! Of hearing people struggling to survive, – it’s drama, it’s magnificent theatre. And it’s free. In that sharp light, you understand nothing, but you’re dazzled by everything. It’s very, very beautiful, and the political project is always to shatter this beauty. It’s appalling.”
Marseille is the place for people, that are not afraid to discover a real place, with real people. From colourful markets, (like Noailles market), that will make you feel like you are in Africa, to the Calanques, (a natural area of big cliffs falling into the sea. - Calanque means fjord), from the Panier area, (the oldest place of the town, and historically the place where newcomers installed), to the Vieux-Port, (old harbor), and the Corniche (a road along the sea), Marseille has much to offer.
Marseille-Provence International Airport is located about 30 km from Marseille. Buses, taxis, and a train connect in less than 30 minutes. Soccer-Real Madrid look to bounce back against Valencia
aLiga leaders Real Madrid will host Valencia on Saturday as they try to rebound from a disappointing 1-0 loss to Getafe last weekend when coach Carlo Ancelotti slammed his players after a sluggish performance.
They will face a much improved Valencia side, whose coach Jose Bordalas Jimenez has received much praise after they went undefeated in LaLiga from late October until they suffered a 2-1 home loss to Espanyol in their last league outing.
“Our team took a few more days of vacation after Christmas,” an angry Ancelotti said after Real’s loss at Getafe, adding that what he saw “was not the same team” that managed to build a comfortable lead at the top in the weeks prior to the winter break.
Real were flat again as they rode their luck to edge past Alcoyano in the last 32 of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, winning 3-1 with two late goals that helped them gain revenge for their defeat to the third-tier side last year.
Real are still league leaders with 46 points from 20 games, but second-placed Sevilla are now only five points behind and have a game in hand. เว็บตรงไม่ผ่านเอเย่นต์ฝากถอนไม่มีขั้นต่ำ

When Should I Take a Private Yacht Charter?
Where do you want to go on a private Yachts Cayman vacation? There are limitless possibilities, according to crewed yacht brokers. Popular destinations for a United States sailing vacation include San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Honolulu, Hilton Head, Martha's Vineyard, Fort Lauderdale, Galveston, Long Island and Annapolis, yet why stop there? A whole lot more awaits you, which are all discoverable by power boats and luxury yacht charters!
A Mediterranean Cayman Yacht Charters has much to offer.
Some of the other Boat Rental Cayman Islands offer a quieter respite, from the secluded beaches of Formentera, to the cobble street village of Cindadella, to the culture-rich fishing village of Mallorca to the National Park on Dragonera.
The Indian Ocean has a lot to offer a private yacht charter. Luxury yacht charters in the Maldives are a rare, exotic winter adventure. Clear-water lagoons, coastal coves brimming with ecological diversity and colorful coral gardens bring many that love to snorkel here. The Seychelles are referred to as "the jewels of the Indian Ocean" and offer more than a hundred islands to explore.
The Coco Islands hide black parrots and giant tortoises in misty forests, while simultaneously offering warm tropical lagoons and white sand beaches. The pleasant trade winds are best during the winter and summer months. History buffs will be amazed at the pirate graves, leper hospital ruins and colonial plantation houses. Creole food and French influences also make the Indian Ocean private yacht charters intriguing.

Over the past month, I have enjoyed scrolling through photos of our journeys. This brings me back to the original idea of Misplaced Map Case, comprehending the memories of travel. One thought comes to mind is our conscious decision to provide our daughter with experiences more than things. Nothing so original about that idea, but here are a few photos that brought back fond memories of the results. Most of our photos include her but I only post a few of those here.
Monaco
At 6 months old, we went to Malaysia to visit pillion rider’s family. After that we continued on to Europe for three weeks visiting London, Paris, San Sebastian and Valencia Spain, Lisbon, Montpelier France, and Monaco. Today, her memory of these experiences has completely faded. Here’s one showing the November weather a little milder on the Mediterranean.
Iceland
With a 3 month contract in Germany that lasted almost five years, we crisscrossed the Atlantic a number of times. Twice we stopped in Iceland, once in winter, once in Summer.
Gullfoss waterfall in Winter
Whale watching at 11 PM in summer.
Ecuador
In 2007, I had a few extra days of vacation and decided crossing the equator would be a good experience. We traveled to Ecuador so we could do it on foot. We stayed in Quito and then at an Eco Resort in the mountains.
One of many journeys between the hemispheres
We swam under the water fall in the rain forest
Ecolodge in Rainforest
Sometimes following was a little more gnarly. This took us up and over the Basilica of the National Vow in Quito
Wales
We traveled around the world with her several times when she was quite young. In 2009, we decided to book Round-The-World Tickets to give her memories to remember. We started in Minneapolis and visited: London, Zurich, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Tokyo, Honolulu, and finally back to Minneapolis. Besides side trips to Oxford, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, and the Southern Jurassic Coast, we headed up to Cardiff Wales.
Jurassic Coast England 25 July 2009
Stonehenge
View from Cardiff Castle
Puerto Rico
In 2010 we made a research trip investigating whether to relocate to Puerto Rico. I would be able to work remotely, but still be in the United States. Along with this, we checked out a couple of high schools. High priority on our list was the access to fresh roasted coffee. Here are beans collected at a co-operative ready for processing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some observations about traveling with children
We kept the focus on experiences and sights interesting for her age.
Priority was on activities more than seeing. Parks and playgrounds took priority over museums and buildings.
The pillion rider always had creative toys, books, and art materials whenever we went out. One flight of 13 hours (Kuala Lumpur to Frankfurt), she brought PlayDoh type clay. At three years old, she played with this until she slept, then played some more.
Adjusting schedules for meals and activities according to her internal clock.
We let her help out with packing, pulling luggage, carrying groceries. We let her choose a few things to pack in her bag, a few things to buy when we were out
Our daughter took us on many adventures when she was growing up. Over the past month, I have enjoyed scrolling through photos of our journeys. This brings me back to the original idea of Misplaced Map Case, comprehending the memories of travel.
