In the quest for a healthier and safer community, vaccinations play a crucial role in preventing the spread of diseases. Recognizing the importance of immunization and the need for accessibility, Health at Homes is reshaping the landscape of healthcare in Hyderabad by offering Vaccination at Home services. This groundbreaking initiative not only prioritizes public health but also ensures that individuals can receive their vaccinations in the comfort of their own homes.
The Significance of Vaccination at Home:
Increased Accessibility: Health at Homes is bridging the gap between individuals and preventive healthcare by bringing vaccinations to their doorstep. This increased accessibility is particularly beneficial for those with mobility challenges, busy schedules, or concerns about visiting healthcare facilities.
Convenience for Families: Families, especially with young children or elderly members, often find it challenging to coordinate vaccination appointments for everyone. Vaccination at Home makes it convenient for families to ensure that all members receive the necessary immunizations without the hassle of multiple trips to the clinic.
Reducing Barriers to Immunization: By eliminating the need to travel to a vaccination center, Health at Homes removes potential barriers that may discourage individuals from getting vaccinated. This contributes to higher vaccination rates, fostering community immunity and protecting vulnerable populations.
Minimizing Waiting Time: Traditional vaccination centers can sometimes involve long waiting times, deterring individuals from getting vaccinated. With Health at Homes, waiting time is significantly reduced, allowing individuals to receive their vaccinations promptly and efficiently.
Tailored Vaccination Plans: Health at Homes provides personalized vaccination plans, taking into account an individual's age, health history, and specific immunization needs. This ensures that each person receives the appropriate vaccinations based on their unique health profile.
How to Schedule Vaccination at Home with Health at Homes:
Contact Health at Homes: Reach out to Health at Homes through their website or customer service to discuss your vaccination needs.
Provide Relevant Information: Share information about the individuals requiring vaccination, including age, health history, and any specific vaccination requirements. This information helps Health at Homes tailor a vaccination plan to your needs.
Schedule a Visit: Once your vaccination plan is determined, schedule a convenient time for the healthcare professionals to visit your home. Health at Homes' team is dedicated to providing timely and efficient service.
Vaccination Administration: During the visit, the healthcare professionals will administer the required vaccinations. They follow strict protocols to ensure the safety and efficacy of the immunization process.
Record Keeping and Follow-up: Health at Homes maintains detailed records of vaccinations administered. This information is valuable for future healthcare needs, and follow-up appointments can be scheduled as necessary.

forgive me if you've been asked this before or if its annoying, but how did you learn to use colored pencils like that? your art is so special to me.
ty :) I took an art class for a few years where our teacher had us buy prismacolor pencils as one of the art supplies and had us use them kinda like paints, pressing down hard right away and blending the colors together. its not how youre supposed to use them she was just trying to teach us to use color and ig this was more to the point. I picked them up again years after i stopped going to that class just bc they were there and i wanted to play around w them a bit and ended up actually enjoying it when doing it on my own terms lol
#it was a weird class#it was just this russian lady doing private lessons in her house that my mom learned about somehow#I did NOT like those classes all we did was still life and they were hours long which is esp rough when im in high school and busy#and she wanted us to stand while working the whole time bc tradition i guess?#she did allow me to work sitting but thought i was lazy for it. idk dude i dont want to exhaust myself fast for no reason#standing is a lot more tiring than walking#i def did still benefit from those classes just from learning to accurately draw from life#did not like the teacher tho#on one hand shed paid for the art supplies for kids whos families were too poor to (and these are nice expensive supplies)#which is very nice#but on the other she was very homophobic and open about it#like when they legalized gay marriage she went on a rant about how horrible it is that they can adopt kids now#and also kind of racist#she was telling me how she got blocked from a facebook group bc she made a post asking if she could speak to a white person#and she didnt realize she was posting that publicly she thought it was a private message to the group owner#im honestly still not sure i heard/understood her correctly bc it was so bizzare and the only time i ever remember her being racist#she talked abt it like she genuienly was unaware it was racist#she described it as a misunderstanding bc she accidentally posted it publicly instead of privately#like it wouldnt have been racist to ask that at all#also one time she talked about how she saw demons in her home once#also she doesnt vaccinate her kids bc of microchips#she was like a walking russian stereotype lol#anyway heres some ink the artist lore

The Stigma of the Dark Ages.
What they’re talking about here is a society which has moved backwards, and is paying consequences already.
NPR - As the respiratory virus season approaches, where does the vaccination rate stand? November 27, 20244:47 AM ET Heard on Morning Edition By Rob Stein , Rob Schmitz Part of it is the lingering skepticism and outright hostility from the pandemic toward the COVID vaccine specifically and vaccines in general. Another factor is that people tend to underestimate how dangerous both viruses can be while overestimating vaccination risks. There's a lot of misinformation about how well the vaccines work and how safe they are. And finally, a lot of folks are just sick of vaccines because of all the shots they've gotten over the last few years. You know, put it all together and a lot of people are just feeling kind of done with vaccines. I talked about this with Dr. Gregory Poland. He's president of the Atria Academy of Science and Medicine in New York. GREGORY POLAND: “As a society right now, we're in a phase of rejecting expertise, of mistrust of any expert, whether it's science, meteorology, medicine, government - whatever it is.”
This is not unusual, there is no guarantee that society progresses forward. The Dark Ages happened, and that period was not the only time of regression on science.
MedPage Today - Nursing Homes Fell Behind on Vaccinating Patients for COVID — Billing complexities and patient skepticism partially to blame by Sarah Boden, KFF Health News December 5, 2024 Loveland has seen patients and coworkers at the nursing home where she works die from the viral disease. Now she has a new worry: bringing home the coronavirus and unwittingly infecting her infant daughter, Maya, born in May. Loveland's maternity leave ended in late June, when Maya wasn't yet 2 months old. Infants cannot be vaccinated against COVID until they are 6 months old. Children younger than that suffer the highest rates of hospitalization of any age group except people 75 or older. Between her patients' complex medical needs and their close proximity to one another, COVID continues to pose a grave threat to Loveland's nursing home -- and to the 15,000 other certified nursing homes in the U.S. where some 1.2 million people live. Despite this risk, a CDC report published in April found that just four in 10 nursing home residents in the U.S. received an updated COVID vaccine in the winter of 2023-24.
Going forward is a choice.
Public comment to CDC HICPAC committee November 2024 Infection control in healthcare. Chloe Humbert Nov 15, 2024 The Dark Ages was called that because society moved backwards from the technological advances that had come before. The fall of the Roman Empire was marked by elites who only cared about the status quo; they could’ve developed a steam engine as far back as Heron in 15 BC but didn’t bother. Going forward is a choice. In an article in the Journal of Infectious Diseases & Preventive Medicine there’s a description of what happened back then. “In medieval times, hospitals were hazardous places, Epidemic infections killed large numbers of hospital patients during this period. Hospital infection and death rates were high. When a sick person entered a hospital, his or her property was disposed of, and in some regions, a requiem mass was held, as if he or she had already died.” Going backward is a choice.
Stigma is part of a backward slide, and even if people don’t choose to go backward, we are all subject to community level leadership influences.
It’s called STIGMA. - wat3rm370n on tumblr - Oct 4th, 2024 When you hear that “people are tired of it” - that’s also part of stigma. And it’s not necessarily true that people are actually just sick of it - but they keep being told they should be. Informational learned helplessness can do that to us. Stigma is leveraged and reinforced on purpose by big money industry interests who think any reminder of danger at all is bad for business. So it’s to some degree manufactured stigma.

Hamas Are Evil. The World Will Be A Better Place When It Does Not Exist.
And it is important to remember, now and always, that Hamas does not equal All Gazans, or All Palestinians. Nor does it reflect the views of all Gazans or Palestinians- especially since about half the population of Gaza wasn't even alive the last time they had an election. Indeed, no people on Earth has suffered more cruelly because of Hamas than have the people of Gaza.
I support Israel's right to exist and defend itself. I understand the NECESSITY of Israel's continued existence for the security of the Jewish people and the stability of the world. I condemn Anti-semitism in any form that I see it, and when I do not see it, I hope to be better educated and more aware in the future. I do so, as a non-Jewish, non-Israeli Leftist, as a consequence of a belief in the value of peoples' lives, in opposition to bigotry and collective guilt/punishment, and in the rightness of defending basic rights even of enemies, and of challenging hypocrisy and dishonesty and ignorance even when it's on "your side".
So when I see posts portraying all Palestinians, Gazans, Arabs, or Muslims as enemies/terrorists/Nazis, or calling for their deaths, I will report it and block. Just as I do when I see such posts targeting Israel or Jews.
This especially goes for anyone who argues that Polio vaccines should be withheld from Gazans, or used as a bargaining chip. POLIO IS CONTAGIOUS. And it does not care about where a border is or which side you're on. It just infects, and spreads, and maims, and kills, because that is what it is evolved to do.
The world is well on its way to finally eradicating it like smallpox, and it would be a previous injury to all of humanity to backslide on that, even a little bit.
There is little enough that the Netanyahu government has ever done that I agree with. But credit where credit is due, deciding to at least pause the fighting to vaccinate people for polio is one. An act of both pragmatic reason and moral clarity in a situation which is horribly bereft of either.

So this is pertaining to my story Meta Assassins on AO3. Summary to follow so you can have context:
The very franchise we know exists as games within the games themselves and Desmond Miles isn't sure how to feel about this. He owns the first five games and soon Black Flag drops along with a new never-released game. It is there that Desmond meets Altair, Malik, Kadar, Ezio, and Federico. Desmond finds solace in the games given he now works at a gas station and has a crappy boss. While working one day he unknowingly meets Giovanni Auditore who gives him his contact information because he thinks Desmond is hard working and dedicated. Assassin’s Creed: Quadrivium, a MMORPG, drops and that's when he starts to figure things out. He eventually wants to go to Italy to visit Ezio and Federico during the winter holiday, which he does. Currently he is hanging out with Claudia Auditore at the local market.
Eventually I will have Desmond get hurt on the job at the gas station. A wet floor he didn't see, and there was no wet floor sign. He was carrying some heavy product that landed on his chest and left leg pinning him to the ground. His friends find it odd that he doesn't join them that night, but eventually a week goes by before they decide to go to New York to find Desmond. Which is how they discover the poor conditions Desmond has been living in. I am just stuck on how to write the accident scene and the twist of Desmond being fired for having the accident. Typically I have Kadar be the one that kicks them in the pants, cause I like to think he would have studied people's behaviors which would be useful as an assassin, but considering that I now have him dating Claudia, I could have her bugging Federico and Ezio about it since it's very uncharacteristic for Desmond to not answer her for more than a day (he did that once, called her to explain he was exhausted and apologized, he was yawning the entire time which made her realize he works himself to the bone.
Anyway, take your time and get to this when you can. Though I look forward to it, cause honestly I forget what I have asked so it's a nice surprise treat when you answer, like "Oh my Goth I asked that?" Thank you for all these lovely ask and answers. Safety and Peace upon you my friend.
Thank you and upon you as well, friend! Here's the link to the fanfic for those curious: Meta Assassins, please give it a try if you're interested and leave some love :)
If you want to keep it a suspense, one way would be to not write the accident scene at first. Shift the narration to Claudia or Federico or even Ezio and how they haven’t heard about Desmond for a while. Create a mini-mystery of some kind perhaps?
Then when they decided to fly to New York, that’s when the narration shifts back to Desmond. If you’re having problem writing the accident itself, you can set the narration to the same day that they set off to check Desmond and make it something that Desmond internally muses about. Focus the narration on what has happened after he was fired and how he’s holding up. Depending on how long it took for them to decide to fly to America, maybe the timeline was long enough that he needed to sell some things to pay the bills which included his computer and phone. Maybe he had to give up on paying his internet provider to pay the other bills using what he had saved up. Those would be valid reasons why he couldn’t say anything more to his friends.
Now, if you truly want the accident to be a central scene…
Well…
I’ve been clumsy since I was a kid (hence why I had to get a tetanus shot this month) so I can tell you that it might seemed ridiculous but one can do a lot of damage thanks to flailing limbs while ‘sliding’. He doesn’t have to be carrying the heavy product. He could be on his break and leaving the gas station when he skids across the floor and grabbed the first thing he could, which turned out to be the nozzle attached to a nearby car. The nozzle goes flying off the car and still dispensing gas and Desmond smacks his head hard against the car and his head bleeds.
Head bleeding tend to be heavy so they had to call 911 because they freaked out from seeing all the blood.
Of course, Desmond has no health insurance so now he has medical bills to pay for a head injury that he could have probably (probably) treated himself and, when he returned to his work, his boss fires him and tells him he has to pay for the wasted gas. And, because he was on his ‘break’ when it happened, his accident wasn’t covered by his ‘previous’ job (to be fair, Desmond is pretty sure that was just an excuse to not pay him squat).
Hope this helps and, even if you don’t use this, this gives you an idea of how to write this scene :)
(Also, instead of the gas, gas stations usually have convenient stores and you can make Desmond have his accident there where he grabs a shelf to stop his fall, breaks his ankle and crashes lots of merchandises that he has to pay for)

apple butter recipe 🍎
10ish apples
~1 cup apple cider (the cloudy non-alcoholic stuff)
~1 cup maple syrup
cinnamon (optional, measure with your heart)
pinch of salt
peel, core, and chop up your apples, keep the pieces on the smaller size so they're easier to break up
combine your apples and cider in a pot with a heavy bototmand place on the stove over medium low heat. keep an eye on it so nothing burns, and break up the apples with your spoon as they soften. keep cooking for about 30 mins, until it gets to an applesauce-like consistency (see the first pic). it's fine if you still have some chunks of apple at this point, it's all going to be blended later
add your maple syrup, turn heat to low, and let the apple mixture reduce and caramelize until you get something like the second pic (about 2 hrs). stir frequently so nothing burns, about every 10ish minutes for the first hour and every 5ish minutes for the second, that's especially important towards the end.
once it's reduced, add your cinnamon and pinch of salt to finish it off. you could also add some vanilla but I prefer it without
using a blender or immersion blender, blend the mixture until smooth (if using a blender let it cool a bit first so it doesn't explode 😭). it'll set to a firmer consistency & deepen in flavor as it chills. enjoy on toast, bake with it, use it in a marinade, or eat it by the spoonful to your heart's content 😌👍

Spicy Death Broth
As we rock up to cold, flu, and vaccine-side-effect season, I offer this. It doesn't taste that nice. But it will burn out mucus, pain, and germs. Pinky-swear. This recipe is intended to have dumplings in it (I use frozen pot stickers, for ease, but you can also put noodles of choice or nothing at all.) All of this is dry/prepared because I don't usually make this unless I feel like shit. I'm cutting zilch. IF USING RICE NOODLES, cook them in the broth but double everything, because those babies suck up liquid like nobody's business.
-1 cup broth (I use beef, vegetable would probably be fine)
-shake of dried onion flakes OR onion powder (have a care with the powder, it can easily get out of control!)
-squeeze of ginger; probably about a teaspoon (ginger is for anti-inflammation!)
-garlic (friend of your immune system: be generous. When in doubt, What Would Greg the Garlic Farmer Do?)
-few dashes of Worcestershire sauce (oyster sauce might do you)
-two dashes of teriyaki sauce
-a splash of sesame oil
-splash of chili oil (WARNING: chili oil will burn the mucus out, but if you're not used to spicy food, tread carefully, it can hurt you)
-soy sauce, to taste
-handful of shredded carrots (optional)
***
Bring ingredients to a rapid boil. If using as a sipping broth (no extras), boil for one minute. If adding dumplings or noodles, add them and heat through. This is not recommended for gastrointestinal distress for obvious reasons.
