HBO Max New Releases: August 2021

Back when WarnerMedia (which technically no longer exists in the same form) announced that it would be premiering its entire slate of 2021 films on HBO Max, this is the kind of month they likely had in mind. For HBO Max’s list of new releases in August 2021 is highlighted by an honest-to-goodness blockbuster.

The Suicide Squad is set to premiere Aug. 5 on HBO Max. This film featuring some of DC Comics’ most curious villains borrows its name, format, and many of its characters from the David Ayers-directed 2016 film Suicide Squad. This time around, the rogues gallery is directing by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) and his colorful disposition. In addition to The Suicide Squad, August sees the arrival of the Hugh Jackman-starring Reminiscence on Aug. 20.

It’s a good month for movies overall on HBO Max. Many intriguing library titles arrive on Aug. 1, including Collateral, The Fugitive (1993), The Shawshank Redemption, and Spawn. The Jurassic Park trilogy (Aug. 14), and Godzilla v. Kong (Aug. 17) make their return to the Warner streaming service a little later on.

HBO Max’s original TV offerings can’t compete with The Suicide Squad in August 2021, but there is still plenty to enjoy. The third season of erstwhile DC Universe series Titans premieres on Aug. 12. That will be followed by the second season of former Comedy Central delight The Other Two.

Astrology Observation - Nakshatra Edition ✨

Hello! Here’s the promised Nakshatra post, over the course of my learning and just interacting with people, there’s a lot I’ve learned and I’d like to share em! Feel free to correct me, I’m still very much a student when it comes to these, lol.

⚡ The nakshatra of your rising often dictates what life is going to throw at you and HOW you need to approach each issue. Example: Krittika risings might need to deal with situations that comes up by cutting out the unnecessary things in their life, Chitra might need to compartmentalise, organize and focus on the details, Jyestha might need to focus on self-preservation etc. 

⚡ I feel like the reason Purva Bhadrapada is such a “be care of that one” sign when it comes to interpretations, not because of the two-faced symbolism/nature but because of this nakshatra being the last of the Jupiter-ruled Nakshatras. Jupiter is at its peak of expansion here, to the point that it becomes uncontrollable and as a result Purva Bhadrapada individuals often feel like there isn’t a natural limit, anchor or restriction to their actions. These individuals mimic the “dark night of the soul” in a way, that is detached from attachments outside their personal choice. This often leads to two kinds of manifestation, an individual that is uncontrolled in the eyes of society because there’s truly nothing that compels them besides their own motivation, or a highly spiritual person, who ends up utilizing this innate detachment to the outside world as spiritual elevation/motivation through discipline that is brought by true choice. (Saturn’s energy bringing spiritual balance)

⚡ Dhanista is often a very good nakshatra for professional fame, mainly because the nakshatra itself demands attention BUT while these individuals tend to be very talented and often loved, they have a tendency to suffer in their private lives, as their focus and “good fortune” usually comes in their work/professional life. (mann, dhanista celebs are so captivating thoughh) ⚡ Dhanista individuals are actually the nakshatra least present in murderers/serial killers, as explained by Claire Nakti, Mars last nakshatra is the highest form of expression of Mars and it also falls in Saturn ruled signs (Capricorn & Aquarius), refining the aggression and energy towards a more work orientated attitude.

⚡ Jyestha and their tendency to suppress emotions because they(or generally not express them) until it’s too much to the point that they completely break down, and end up going into an almost “berserk” rage. Not to say it’s violent (but can be if mars is involved in anyway, or aspecting the moon itself) but when they do have these anger breakdowns, they tend to act like a pissed off Scorpion placed in a dark hole, striking at anything that is within their reach. Of course, depending on the placement their “world” might shift to specific focus of that planet, but they are very much in the me vs the world mindset.

⚡ Also, Jyestha is an excellent money-making or business-minded position.

⚡ I think the parallels between Purva Bhadrapada and Jyestha are so interesting, they tend to naturally gravitate towards each other, I wonder if it’s because one (Purva Bhadrapada) is radical freedom while Jyesthas usually are distrustful to the point of taking responsibility all by themselves, lol.

⚡ Purva Bhadrapada are attracted to the self-responsible nature of Jyesthas but I think, Jyesthas tend to be attracted to Purva Bhadrapada due to the other’s ability to be so completely free and un-resentful of their emotional expression. Purva Bhadrapada exists fully in their emotions without consequences, unaffected by other’s grievances or the world’s sorrows unless they choose to be, unmoved almost. In a way, they are intrigued by the other’s extreme. 

⚡ Look at your DK’s aka Darakarka’s nakshatra (the planet with the lowest degree in your chart), often times, the nakshatra manifests quite literally in your spouse. Also, the ruling planet of that nakshatra might be prominent or present in their chart.

⚡ Ardra truly embodies the mutable boredom, in a way, they can only be moved or interested by things that particularly interests them and that’s it. They don’t care about what they need to do, they only care about what they’re interested in or what they want.

⚡ Might not seem like it but Chitra nakshatra loves to poke at society’s boundaries, there’s a prominent in presence of perfecting and constructing illusionary forms to the greater masses, often times it’s done for acts of unrestrained self-expression.

⚡ The most auspicious nakshatras aren’t Jupiter ruled ones, like many people would think, it’s the Saturn ruled nakshatras.

⚡ Revati has the ultimate “out of this world” vibe, to the point that they often might feel like they don’t belong in this world.

⚡ Krittika is probably the reason why Taurus gets the underhanded reputation of ghosting, they are not afraid to cut unnecessary things out of their life and it often happens really seamlessly. 

⚡ It’s been said by many people but Rohini IS the ultimate sugar baby nakshatra. I think it also has to do with the fact that Rohini tends to be the placement of indulgence, in a way, there is a want or tendency to gain attention, to have the most comfortable/luxurious life. (also very captivating eyes!)

Astrology Observation 💅

Because I'm bored and waiting for my blueberry tea to finish cooling, also, disclaimer this is from my perspective & you can point out any mistakes etc if you see 'em.

❤️ Aquarius placements (particularly in major planets) can give an almost "cooling" element to any explosive or mars-ruled sign. Like combos of Aquarius sun - Aries/Scorpio moon, for example. Don't get me wrong, the avoidant quality that Aquarius have does influence who or when they express their anger, they hide their more emotional side because they themselves see it as a "detriment" despite, acting in accordance to the more passionate side of the sign. They don't really have a tendency to open up but I honestly implore these people to do so when they're in the midst of a boiling point/when they're at the edge, you're not less for feeling anger or letting emotions overwhelm you, trust me. Not to mention your Aquarius placement, in such moments, will be more likely to listen to detached/or logical opinion and advice, which might help you not make a decision that would've been bad in the long run ™

🧡 Taurus placements need to be careful in regards of their basic needs. Often times, the earth sign depression can get too much and it might end up with them landing into unhealthy or neglectful habits, or out of the sheer inability to start. Yes, this is a call-out for myself too. Not taking care of yourself & your basic needs first before tackling anything else can make you feel worse and degrade your sense of self, as Taurus is a sign that works through the body and intuition, with the emphasis on the body (because material), taking care of your basics and some more is vital to having a stronger and more functional sense of self, it might be a drag but easing into a routine of self care would be best for the long run, trust me. (2nd house also rules basic needs). You suddenly feel like you hate everyone? You're probably neglecting on eating. You suddenly think everyone hates you? Get some rest & good sleep girl.

💛 Pluto, its placement & sign, can be indicators to how people try to usually manipulate you. But, the catch is, Pluto makes your eyes wide-open about where & how, it's intentional. Through exposure of the darker sides of life through the house & sign, Pluto wants you to learn, grow and be BETTER than any of your manipulators ever were. It's the thing with Pluto, that's almost similar, you will often feel like you need to change (intentional) to properly meet the challenges it places on you, eventually of course, it produces a stronger person, but this process will be ongoing until you truly master the house it's placed in - some people can, some can't, you can't discount the scorpionic ways of Pluto who demands change, to be better, to be stronger.

💚 Libra are often more responsibility driven than many give them credit for. Saturn is exalted in Libra, after all. They don't come off as it, not initially, but internally they often hold a standard to themselves - the people and situations that have served them and demands responsibility in return? Even if the thing/person/situation that does can often be toxic as hell? You know for sure that they're always considering it while making decisions. It doesn't matter if they don't need to be responsible, they feel obliged to. There's a sense of prioritizing other when it comes to Libra placements, so they can often stumble into toxic situations because of that. Libra babes need people who are good and can appreciate the effort they return. Look at the house where Libra sits, it's often a place where you feel a willing obligation to things (more prominent with Libra placements).

💙 Pisces, and placements, can often have difficulties with reality vs fiction, to the level that it physically manifests. They already have blurred boundaries, with an exceptional ability to access anyone's or anything's emotional/or imaginative state. There's a reason Pisces can often be guilty of falling in love with fictional people, for them, there's no boundary when it comes to what they consume. Their exceptional imaginative powers can cause intense bodily/or emotional reactions that can overwhelm rational thought and observation if they don't have any other placements to anchor it down. These are probably the people who hate gore, or like watching it (depends on other placements), because they can literally FEEL what the characters in the horror/gore setting are feeling, their skin crawls when those scenes are imagined or seen. Also, to add onto this, their emotional states can change completely if they think/daydream/imagine certain situations. There's a reason they need to shut away from people, it can get intense, their ability to literally be in other people's (fictional or real) shoe is unreal.

Geminis put so much effort in learning and trying to understand about things around them, it's just unfair that they get pushed into a convinent box, as if their personality - in its beautifully varied variety - is too much for people.

🖤 Capricorn placements/Saturn influence can have trouble with feeling things. Astrology Observation ✨

This is my first time writing this and consider this more of a fun observation rather than anything too detailed (feel free to correct me, I’m still in the process of learning)!

✨ Tight Uranus aspects to either the ascendant, sun or moon can definitely give the “Not Like Other Girls” energy, individuals with this aspect often feel like they need to go against the norm or they’re perceived as weird or unusual in one way or the other. Only after they realizing that they can be original and authentic in just existing and living normally, they’ll feel less inclined to be pressured by a need to be perceived as eccentric or being seen as an outsider in one’s inner circles. (You are naturally weird in your own way, don’t worry about it❤)

✨ Some asexual placements I’ve notice; Saturn in 8th, Weak Mars being aspected by Saturn (or Mars being aspected by Saturn in general), Chiron conjunct Mars.

✨ Mars in 3rd house tend to have a naturally low ended or deeper voices, the true influence of Mars perhaps can probably be seen more prominently during fits of rage - when their voices get so loud and low that it almost gets reduced to an intangible growl.

✨ Also, they have a tendency to appear forthcoming or aggressive even if they’re speaking normally or without intending to. 

✨ Virgo and Pisces are probably the sister signs that truly need each other in their life. Due to being the highest point of material and spiritual side respectively, there is a stubborn tendency in both that almost refuses to learn beyond their ways. In a way, they can complement each other by caring about the things that the other tends to neglect (plus both of these signs care so much more about other people than themselves sometimes, I swear). Of course, if they can stand each other’s presence lmao, because, for it to work, they must realize that it’s a fool’s errand to try to change the other. 

✨ I’ve seen this in 8th house placements but generally 8H suns tend to prefer lower light settings, or places/time-frame when the natural light is close to dim. This is because the sun(also a signifactor of the body) is lurking in the depths of the 8th house and generally hates being forced into bright places or spotlights. Also they look better in lower light settings or dark colours :3

✨ Venus in 6th house is the ultimate “I’ll love you through etching each and every part of you in my memory, under my fingertips, any flaw and quirk, I’ll keep it in my heart and cherish it forever” placement.

✨ Fire signs have a tendency to like people similar to them (naturally similar, if they feel like the other person is faking it, that’ll turn them off), especially Aries and Leo. 

✨ 8th house Moons and their obsession with using death as a comfort, lmao.

✨ Mars-Moon aspects, especially conjunction, always has that “aggression shimmering under the surface” vibe. You’ll accidentally get into debates with this person even when you’re conversing normally and it might end with them getting aggressive with their voice to the point of the conversation/topic just ends up in a dead-end. 

✨ Aquarius suns have great hair! Usually, there’s like, a fluffy and/or thickness to them. There’s definitely something unique about them, though.

✨ 11th/10th house stelliums always have a strange sort of problem in their childhood, like they’re behind in what is averagely expected from a child their age. The truth is, these planets take a bit more time to mature and people usually don’t have patience to wait for that.

✨ Also, they tend to tan very easily! If they don’t naturally have a darker skin colour already. 

✨ Okay but have you seen a Pisces Venus conjunct mercury sing? Their voice is goddamn angelic.

Let me clear this up for you:

Since no one seems to understand. Time to rant. 

CONCEPT OF KARMA

I absolutely hate how western practitioners have twisted the meaning and bastardised it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely rooted in my roots and I’m not an extreme traditionalist but people using the concept of karma by first misunderstanding its foundations and then using it to justify horrendous shit is unbelievable. Which then, leads to people trying to divorce karma from its associations.

Okay, let’s just break it down. Idk how they just reduced Karma as “what goes around, comes around” & treated it like a cause and effect deal, because it isn’t. Using Karma to justify suffering and oppression was NEVER it’s original purpose. Looking through Hinduism & Vedic teachings, Karma is a law that human in the centre of responsibility, in every way, shape and form. There is a reason Karma is tied with Saturn (Shani), the God of Karma, Justice and Retribution, and ANY astrologer can tell you how Saturn operates in similar principal. Karma doesn’t teach people to shut up & suffer because they deserve it. Karma says that the cycles that exist are created by and through humans, their suffering & good fortune accordingly and by virtue, it is in their hands and will alone on how they want to cultivate their actions.

It DOESN’T discount systematic oppression.

It DOESN’T tell you to sit on your hands and suffer because it’s your fault.

It DOESN’T tell you that you’ll get good things after suffering.

What Karma does is present you with the situation of your life, then waits and watches what YOU choose to do with it, how YOU work or manage it. Ultimately, being tied to Saturn, it expects you to take responsibility on creating your own situation.

And no, I’m not saying this in the way that the way people are, and how they’re suffering is because they somehow “were a bad person in their previous life, etc etc”, I’m saying that it acknowledges that people have different situations & personal suffering, yes, a LOT of things in life are fundamentally difficult but you need to understand, the planets or the gods didn’t create suffering on such a global scale, it was ultimately humans/men themselves that perpetuated and continued the cycle of suffering, and it is, ultimately, in our hands to make it better or worse. Karma treats everyone equally this sense, but it is very difficult to understand this if you don’t realise that the concept of Karma is deeply tied with cycles, especially as Hinduism treats time as a cycle itself, and often times people really can’t and don’t have the knowledge of comprehending anything but their own/current life while they’re alive. 

Karma isn’t an immediate slap in the face (unless you have those placements that make it so) as you know, the GOD OF KARMA is literally called the slowest/slow moving planet and is symbolised by a tortoise, the effects of your Karma accumulate and thus it usually manifests in the various cycle of lifes. I understand that western practitioners or those growing up with largely Christian themes/society can’t understand because we don’t have a definite “end”, the only “end” that comes from cycles of reincarnation is through burning the ties of Karma and liberating the soul. There are three types of Karma:

1. Sanchita karma, the sum total of past karmas yet to be resolved. 2. Prarabdha karma, that portion of sanchita karma that is to be experienced in this life. 3. Kriyamana karma, the karma that humans are currently creating, which will bear fruit in future.

There are some things in life you can’t control, there are also things in life that you can control. Karma is a continuous cycle until you achieve moksha, which is the ultimate goal of liberation.

Hinduism/The Vedas has recognised and understood the way the Law of Karma works, that’s one of the main reasons Dharma was made one of the aims of life, the act of good deeds, performing proper responsibilities & personality that ultimately gears you towards attaining (good)karma that will make it easier for you to pursue the other “Purusartha” aka aims of life, and of course, the path towards liberation in general.

From this perspective, we see life as fundamentally connected with everything, including people, action, deeds, nature, planets, the universe etc etc, Karma is just a law that explains one part of such. Astrology has always been one of the main tools used to deeply study the bond between the planets and a human existence (soul & body), one of the main reason Karmic Astrology exists is because the intrinsic ties our existence has with different elements of life, and of course, the soul that has & will be going through everything. Now that you’re in the end of this post, I hope you never misuse the concept of “Karma” because I’m going to arrive there with Saturn to slap a bitch.

For if any sign indicates space exploration, it’s Aquarius.

When studying the Great Conjunction of 1603, Joannes Kepler. thought that the Star of Bethlehem might be the occurrence of a Great Conjunction, which occurred in 7 BC.

(If so, I imagine the Star of Bethlehem included a conjunction of Mars, or maybe Venus for a short while, to give that bright spot in the sky extra punch for the Three Wise Men.)

What’s important here, is that Great Conjunctions of  Jupiter and Saturn, the two planets that function as a bridge between the individualized consciousness (short cycled planets, including Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, Mars) and the planets of the collective unconscious (Uranus, Neptune Pluto and beyond), concern the manifestation of goals, plans, structures (Saturn) that are granted extra oomph (Jupiter) during each 20 year period.

And when did the last Great Conjunction begin? May 2000. We are only a few weeks from a 20 year anniversary during this month of June 2020. And what sign was it in then? Taurus, the most earthy earth sign, fixed, security-oriented, stable, and stubborn as hell. If there is any single sign that correlates with the natural world, it is Taurus.

And how far have we come in manifesting the Taurus expression? Another way of asking that question: how far has permaculture spread and grounded itself into millions of tiny projects during these last 20 years?

More personal: how attuned are we to our own bodies, and to the Earth herself?

I sense that the recent Covid-19 phenomenon showed us just how far we are from truly fulfilling the Taurus mission of the last Great Conjunction. For most people seem to have fallen for the psy-op of FEAR — fearing both death (a natural part of the life cycle) and fearing their very own bodies! And yet, the plandemic also helped many who were formerly oblivious to realize that we do need to connect more to the natural world. How many gardens were started during the months when we weren’t supposed to leave home? How many people now realize that local food is a top priority when supply chains can snap at any minute?

Though I don’t have any articles at my fingertips, I have noticed that more and more industrial farming methods are being criticized, even by Big Ag -oriented universities like Purdue!

Even so, I do sense that most of us did not utilize this 20 year cycle to fulfill its grounding mission and so, when the next cycle begins in December, will have lost a valuable opportunity. Meanwhile,  hold that thought.

Back up to a few days ago, when, in my ongoing Recapitulation Project (to find, retype if necessary, and eventually archive on-line the entire corpus of my writing life over the past 40 years), entry #332 into my Excel spread sheet happened to be an essay called “Grounding for Lift-Off” that I published as one of a quarterly series of newsletters called Celestial Navigtions sent to astrological clients via snail mail on a subscription basis.

And guess when that essay was composed? May 2o00, during the last Great Conjunction, when Jupiter/Saturn were in Taurus. I include a selection from that essay below.

For me personally, that conjunction was extremely significant, since my own personal Moon happens to be situated at the exact same degree as that Great Conjunction: 23° Taurus.

It was during that conjunction in May 2000 that I realized I had to leave Jackson Hole. After 18 years in that magnificent wild land, I recognized that the energy there was so electric that I couldn’t energetically drive my own personal root into the ground. What that meant, I didn’t know — not then. But I told my husband Jeff, and two years later, one Mars cycle later, we moved.

If you have any planets or other important points at or near 23° of  the fixed signs —Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius — I suggest you do what I did, review what you’ve been up to since May 2000. What overall long-term project, goal, attitude, expression, etc. was initiated then and followed through over these past 20 years. Whatever it was, this will serve as the foundation for what lies ahead, starting at the next Great Conjunction at 0° Aquarius, on December 21, this year.

I suggest you do this because I did this, and was utterly astonished at the result. Ommigoddess! This little Green Acres Permaculture Village, where I now make my very grounded, stable, earth-centered home, was the result! Here are two pics from this morning.

First, the original Overhill house, where we moved when husband Jeff wanted to leave Jackson Hole for law school at Indiana University, and then died six months later, leaving me with a legacy, that I first used to create a screened porch (to say hello to neighbors passing by) and then gradually ploughed into the ongoing emergent creation of what has transformed into this little permacultural paradise on earth.

When did this very Taurean manifestation begin to fulfill itself? in 2010, with permaculture workshops to transform the lawn of the house next door, which I had just purchased. When did that commence astrologically? At the opposition between Jupiter and Saturn in this Great Conjunction cycle!

Here’s the main garden now, which feeds nine people in our three village homes plus surplus to neighbors and friends. Keep in mind that this little paradise exists smack in the middle of a suburb that looks like any other suburb, i.e., lots of grass.

Now what’s remarkable about this recent find, of the May 2000  essay called “Grounding for Liftoff,” is that retyping it spurred me to look at what I have done for the past 20 years! Whew!

Here’s a selection from that old essay. I head it up with a photo of one of our current cats, Tiger, who just happened, this morning for the first time, after a very active night hunting, to punk himself down on my desk.

BTW: the essay itself segues back and forth between Taurus and Aquarius, the new energy we will be experiencing even more powerfully in the coming 20 years. I focused on Aquarius along with Taurus then, because the two outer planets Neptune and Uranus were then transiting through Aquarius. And look how much digital acceleration we have had to undergo since the year 2000? Truly, given what’s coming up, we simply must ground and center ourselves if we don’t wish to be electrocuted and/or turned into AI transhumans by the upcoming intense Aquarian energies.

So get those permaculture paradises flourishing folks! And if you haven’t begun yet, there’s still time. Simply begin. One step at a time. Center yourself enough to attract what you need.

I speak here from a decidedly Taurus point of view. If my concentration on this subject seems extreme, it reflects the fact that May’s Jupiter/Saturn conjunction took place exactly on my natal 23° Taurus Moon. Nevertheless, given the current triumphant spreading of malignant narcissistic and short-sighted values, I feel that a continued emphasis on the original natural earthy values of Taurus is needed to heal a culture that is so heady, so preoccupied with communication and transportation technologies, so bent on bloating the individual ego through money, status, things, and gambling of all kinds, including the stock market.

And I am Sagittarian, one who has for most of my life pretty much ignored my Taurus Moon. As I tried and failed not to ignore my young sons, and then, in 1972, when they were five and seven, abandoned them to the care of their narcissistic father. This most unnatural and wrenching decision shut my emotional body down. I talk about our problems as a culture because they have been my problems too. And, being Sagittarian, I both speak my truth and generalize.

In this essay, I speak from the perspective of one who has only recently — during the period spanning the two rare Taurus meetings of May 2000 — moved down into my body and pretty much stayed there. At the end of that month, during the week surrounding the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction,  I experienced the peculiar paradoxical expansion/contraction evoked by those two planets, operating together. One day I would be Saturn, feeling low, depressed, leaden, worried and frustrated about time and my goals and needing to figure everything out right now! The next day, inexplicably, I would wake up as Jupiter — expansive, optimistic, full of faith and gratitude —  for all my blessings, knowing that everything will work out perfectly in a benevolent universe which holds me in her hand like a precious child. As the days went on, these polarized moods alternated in more rapid succession, until finally they came to rest within me as an integrated circuit.

The end result, the final conclusion that I reached during this period was a recognition that I have no roots into the Earth, and that whereas I didn’t need them before, I do now. Moreover, I sense that I cannot put real roots down here, in dramatic, spectacular, rocky and extreme Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I entered this valley 18 years ago, and I thank the gorgeous wild land for confronting me to heal my addictions, and plunging me into my work. Now I long for what I thought I would never need: a closeness to children and grandchildren, a soft and gentle, more forgiving land, one which can support a more “ordinary” life.

Kneeling there in my garden during May 2000, my bare knees feeling the damp prickly ground, morning sun warming my back like a lover, I worked the mulched soil with bare hands, ears attuned to the trickle of the tiny creek, skin sensing the breeze lift individual hairs.

Ever since last August’s fixed cross solar eclipse I have been descending deeper into my own body, settling into the natural world as never before. I thank my teacher for this, who arrived in late September, at our doorstep. He was a tiny kitten then, born during that fixed cross eclipse. Now Lukas is an alert, sleek, graceful hunter and explorer of his wild territory. Through his eyes and ears and nose and skin I have been initiated into the wonders of this tiny plot of land around our yurt. He has led me to appreciate weeds as they brush against bare legs; to marvel at water skippers as they scamper across the current, each delicate leg’s placement subtly disturbing water’s surface tension. Lukas has guided me to see which trees have branches close to the ground, which do not; which one’s are close enough to leap from one to the other. I too now quiver to the choirs of birds, the slight rustle of mice, the dark s pot of spider, of buzzing bee or fly. Everything that moves is his delight and mine, the subject of intense concentration. His body and mind are one, centered deeply into the moment, moving according to internal rhythms rather than external controls. He teaches me to expand and contract in the present, and to still myself into the dreamtime where I hear my name being called. Above all, he teaches me to center into my own body as a sovereign being, beholden to no one, sensitive to my entire environment, expressive of all that is my nature as it pulses into creation.

P.S. For me, the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius will occur directly opposite the midpoint of my Jupiter/Pluto in Cancer/Leo. What does that portend? I have no idea. Trust. Love. Allow the universe to breathe through me as this Great Conjunction Taurus cycle completes. Only then will the world open. Only then will we learn what is in store for us next.

I remember my own long term motto: FOLLOW YOUR NATURE, AND NATURE TAKES CARE OF YOU.

Opposition Relationship Pitfalls

Aries-Libra: This relationship often begins as very loving, caring and... #goals, essentially. It's quite beautiful, until it takes it's nasty turn. Just as in EVERY teenage movie from early 2000's and before, the Cheerleader and Jock don't work out, however, one of them finds out they fit a lot better with someone new. The two are constant chasers, and when they aren't chasing one another, you can bet it's someone new.

Taurus-Scorpio: This relationship starts out bad and ends bad, like most Fixed Sign relationships. Taurus is possessive and Scorpio's obsessive, so it bubbles over with toxicity from... just about the beginning. This relationship is very often sex and object based, and Taurus is quite often on the losing team. Keep in mind your partner is a person, and you can avoid that. But, the never ending stubborn-ness of both sides is equally as heartbreaking to live in. Cause the love never ends here - but tolerance does.

Gemini-Sagittarius: As neutral people, they're naturally distant and absorbed in their own lives, ways of thinking, and ideals. They often come at odds end with these things, especially being that they both feel their backed by logic - however Sagittarius's way of thinking is often much more creative than Gemini's, who's a master of wits. This relationship can be a game of chess - one manipulating the other and the other retaliates - until the relationship meets it's end. If you're lucky enough not to have this problem, the distance you create will inevitably be the death of it.

Cancer-Capricorn: Good ol' Mom and Dad never fight until... they do. Forcing themselves into solitude together, this relationship is based on a Support-Support system, as well as a Submissive-Dominate system. Often enough, if Cancer makes more money and shifts the balance a bit, Capricorn's hatred for change in power may just turn the relationship from positive to negative. Cancer may feel suffocated, or at very best - Capricorn feels powerless.

Leo-Aquarius: The people pleasers of the zodiac want you to be happy. And you... and you. Everyone. But while both do it for the feeling of pride and goodness in their hearts, one is a lot more vindictive than the other, and can be awfully selfish (or the other is). This balance tends to tip - and one's distance often becomes the downfall, as if Leo doesn't get the attention they feel they deserve, they'll find it somewhere else.

Virgo-Pisces: While Creative Thinking is wonderful, it's difficult to have the two together on their own. Creative and Dreamy Pisces is often neglected and put down by logically and hope-bogging Virgo, turning the relationship from balanced to pessimism vs. optimism.
