A few summers back I visited #utö with my dad and it was one of the best trips I've ever had (i'll be embarrassingly real- I spent one evening bawling my eyes out on the high rocks just because I was so overwhelmed by the feeling of adoration 💀 like a little wuss.) The archipelago is expensive area to live, but truly if I have one wish in life, it's that I can live there or at least a similiar place, because I'd never felt as much at home somewhere. The air there felt dense like a warm blanket on a good morning, and the cool wind was sensory heaven. The stones felt good to walk on. I didn't talk to anyone much- didn't want to be a botherful tourist ™️ but the people were also very cool 👽 I didn't actually swim on the islands, but I did swim on main land, and that too.. Salt water feels like a hug, I love the ocean so so so much!!! I really hope I get to visit soon again... i can't afford it right now, but maybe after I'm done studying.

I did draw a bunch on the trip too, but unfortunately I have zzero idea where to find those studies.

10. Favourite animal?

I'd say horse, I was obsessed with them as a child. I can still remember all that different breeds and some extensive info on horse care and horse sports.

13 Favourite climate?

That's hard to tell because I haven't lived anywhere to experience different climates... I imagine I whould enjoy a temperate climate, or even just mountainous climate. I like rain and snow, and some wind too. I just want a lil bit of everything I guess?

23. Talk about a WIP

I'm currently, as I have mentioned before, working on a lil P:F&R oc insert, and I'm debating editing it and posting it. It's a fairly wholesome story, in which Niki's not-quite-nameless husband applies to train to be a firefighter under Blade, and in the process learns to handle his own issues and help the team handle theirs too. There are a lot of problems with the original text though and it needs work to be posted. The certain thing is that I will continue to write it indefinately, i love it unreasonably much ❤️

my drama and creative writing teacher in lukio told us to strip ourselves of our manerisms and commented that the way i wrote about the sea in my poems was one of those manerisms. i was sailing like every other week at that point and taking a cold dip in the sea every week i didn't sail so it was all i knew. a girl commented "i don't get it" when i wrote that they had to bring sand from the mainland to the utö cemetery to bury the people who desperately wanted to be buried there, on the furthest island of our archipelago. another time i wrote about wearing a kevlar vest and the teacher said she had to google what kevlar is so i should scrap the line. i haven't written a serious poem since i was 16 but i sometimes think about the short while i was a poet and what it taught me about writing and feeling and who i am.
