More than a majority of humanity is standing at the threshold of hearsay.⁣ ⁣ The moment you initaite into spirituality and your heart is awakened and has started producing divine light, your spiritual calibre changes. This is when you jump to Stage 2 of belief. ⁣ ⁣ If I say, ‘Don’t touch the coffee mug ☕️ because it is very hot’, you will believe me because generally, hot drinks go in mugs and cold drinks go in glasses. But I could be lying. So in this scenario, your belief is based on what I told you; it is shaky and doubtful. This is like Stage 1 of belief. ⁣ ⁣ But if I tell you to touch the mug for yourself, if it is hot, you will feel it. Naturally, you will take your hands off because it is really hot. This is like Stage 2 of belief. Lies will not live forever. Don't just want to talk about the truth. The truth may be misleading, get to the bottom of the truth, where the truth originates. When truth is carried by people, it depends on the carrier, how truthful that carrier is. The truth can only be believed when the truth comes out from the mouth - who himself is part of the truth. Only then you will be able to see the truth in its full bloom otherwise the carrier of the truth will pollute the truth before it is uttered out from their mouth. This is why you're not supposed to read the Qur’an until your lower self is completely purified.

The Qur'an curses upon people who want to recite, read and study it without first purifying their lower self. Why? Because the dirt from the lower self will pollute the meaning of the Qur’an. It was said by Mujaddid Alf Thani: those who have an impure lower self in their body are not worthy of reading the Qur'an. They should first engage in loud remembrance of God so as to purify their lower self. Once the lower self is purified and the heart is awakened, now the coast is clear you can study the Qur'an and understand it without polluting it. Listen to the truth from the one who is part of the truth, who is one with the truth!
