So Louis showed up with Nizam again

Don't know about this year, but up to last year Nizam still liked and retweeted a lot of homophobic and transphobic shits like these:

Louis is a queer person who is in a love term relationship with a queer and trans person (though he could be probably still be closeted with him), so I personally do not think Louis actually likes him. The two things cannot cohesist.

But this being said there could be a lot of reasons for why Louis still keeps Nizam near. They were childhood friends, and we do not know nothing about what happened then. The reason could be found there.

Or, and personally as I am a cinic ass I lean towards this, Nizam is one of those "friends" to show him with every now and then to maintain a certain image. And yes, Louis has been to his wedding and we had pics, so it never meant to be an actually private thing.

Everything we see is work with them, and this values for every single thing. Some are harmless, some are meh and some are shit.

Soo, I didn't say anything last night about this because I wanted Louis to have his moment but people are already talking about it so why not

And I think it makes the question "what's the point of the film?" even harder because it is for the fandom, the GP doesn't even probably know he released a doc, so they perfectly knew we would either recognise the pice of shit or find him

So, why is Nizam in it? Why was he given a platform, even if it's just to speak about Lou? And most importantly, why is Louis friends with him??

It's just doesn't make any sense putting him in the film and at not even, idk, at least make him go private on his account

I feel like they should have thought twice before putting Nizam in. I don’t care about him and his awful beliefs. But it’s complicated and l/harries in particular are turning Nizam into a reason to question or blame Louis.

Seeing the timestamps from the tweets, chances are the documentary was already completed by that time. We don't know if Louis is aware and how he might have reacted

Nizam has like.... one line in the documentary?!?! Should we do background check on JD's political affiliation while we're at it? Louis isn't responsible for the political beliefs and behaviour of the people around him. Is any of this reflective of Louis' personal opinions on the matter? Should he call him out? Are we supposed to agree on everything with our peers? What is it that people expect? What is Nizam's tweets influence on Louis' music and career? Are you unable to enjoy Louis' songs because some guy he grew up with and hangs out with from time to time has anti-trans views? That's totally valid, but that's your choice and not a reason to blame Louis.

Fandom has always been too involved in his personal life.... if you want to cancel Louis for the behaviour of his entourage, his sisters and ex-girlfriend are right here lol.

Don't listen to larries and more especially, please don't give a fuck about what they say. They'll always find a way to blame Louis. He is held up to impossible standards.

Any theories as to why Louis is friends with Nizam?

Yes, i do. The same reasons why i'm still friends with my childhood friends who's got opposite political and social views than i do.

Our friendship is strong and we have unlimited trust in each other. We're loyal. We have shared years together as friends, have years of shared experiences, we support each other, have fun together, have internal jokes and references and we reminisce about our childhood together. You can talk about anything with them, there is no secrets between you. Even though we've grown apart as people and have wildly different lives, jobs and social standing, political and social views and got new friends we've got more in common with, your childhood friends are lifelong friends.

It's possible to be friends with people you don’t share the same views as. You just acknowledge each others differences and leave it at that. I do wish Louis would publically say that he doesn’t support Nizams views. Nizam reflects on Louis' image whether Louis likes it or not.
