Sufism, unity of being, unity of witnessing. تصوف, وحدةالوجود, وحدةالشهود
These interconnected topics often evoke interest among scholars and laypeople alike. These are hard to grasp due to pre-disposition, pre-conception, or a lack of basic knowledge. Therefore, I tried to explain these concisely and in the easiest way possible. Sufism is usually pursued under the vigilant guidance of a Sufi-Master/Murshad through a rigorous regimen over a long period, traversing…

Hezbollah's Attacks and Israeli Displacement
The sound of sirens and rockets has become an all too familiar backdrop to our lives. Living in northern Israel, my family and I have experienced the constant fear of Hezbollah's attacks. The situation has become unbearable, pushing us to make the difficult decision to leave our home and move to central Israel.
Leaving behind our community, friends, and the place we've always known was heart-wrenching. The journey south was filled with uncertainty, as we joined countless other families seeking safety. The central region, now overcrowded and strained, has become our new, albeit temporary, home.
Despite the government's efforts, it seems no one can put an end to Hezbollah's relentless aggression. We live in hope that peace will return and we can go back to our lives in the north. Until then, we remain displaced, yearning for the day when we can safely return to our home.

System Saves and a "New" Game
A problem with cross-save information is that naturally precludes being able to have a truly fresh new game without erasing all save information, including "system/global data".
When it comes to Witness to Unity, we have a "Manage Data" option to allow the sharing of bestiary information between saves. We feel that such information, even if progressively unlocked through a game mechanic, is still in the end like an in-game wiki. A player could just look up weaknesses/etc online instead of bothering to analyse an enemy at all, especially on replays. So why now provide an option to make things easier if they want?
This does however get a bit more complicated with regards to anything else though.
Now maybe this is slight spoilers, but we do have plans for this function to do more than it first appears. The problem with this however is that while transferring Enemy Analysis is purely utility, anything else may be more narrative-based. And that is where we get into the issue of locking the player out of a truly fresh new game.
Our choice ends up being keeping it obtuse what this function does, and so a player wanting a fresh save cannot use it for enemy data without also transferring information they might not want to transfer. Or, we indicate what else the function retrieves, perhaps provide a secondary list of saves containing that information.
...
Or perhaps a third option, we could implement an extra selection in the above modal for "Just Give Me Enemy Data"... though we'd have to finagle the UI a bit to achieve this...

“What God Expects From Us” The Prophet’s Pulpit: Commentaries on the State of Islam Vol iii
#saw this on ig the other day#it made me cry#I’m not a Muslim#but this year it was Muslims and it was their principles their steadfastness and their unity as Muslims#regardless of variation of practice#that showed me what it means to be principled and fight for justice#and when I felt lost in my ‘settler void’ I believe I know why that is now#and I do not respect the dogmatic atheism of the west#I do not respect spiritual voids#this year after everything I’ve witnessed even as a settler in the imperialist core I’ve realized what real justice and real unity means#when I see the resistance axis and the devout Muslims and know their Al Thawabet#I know for certain now that everything I’ve been borne from here in the settler state of US is what is demonic#and all the Islamophobia is an intentional evil#and a few months ago I heard ‘a voice’ of a higher power for the very first time#and I never felt that before in my life#I had a thought then that I could never pray for someone without taking action#and I had no idea that this was a principle in Islam#people have said that a theologians natural conclusion is Islam#I’m not a Muslim but they have my respect for life

Jesus Prays for All Believers“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may…

harglblarghs in UI design
Wanted to swap out the previous design that was reminiscent of the PS3 or PSP save interface, as I didn't think I could think of enough varied stuff for the little slabs to the left.
So I thought a character portrait would be less work, have it be randomised or contextual or something. I'll at least have those assets on hand.
Still not entirely sure about it though.
