Mahi mahi, Dolphinfish, Dorado & Lampuga, all names for the Coryphaena hippurus! These colourful fish are found in the Mediterranean Sea at this time of year (August-November), often aggregating underneath objects floating on the surface.

They live for up to five years, and can get to a meter in length!

Es war Anfangs September, und wir waren gefühlt die Letzten, die Sommerferien gemacht haben. Diesmal stand wieder Tauchen auf dem Programm. Wir hatten schon lange vor, wieder einmal nach El Quseir ins Mövenpick zum Tauchen zu gehen. Wir waren das letzte Mal 2009 dort und speziell das Hausriff hat uns damals super gefallen. Darum ging es dieses Jahr wieder dort hin. Nun sind wir auch schon seit ein paar Tagen wieder in Zürich zurück.   Uns haben viele Fragen über die Anreise, die Lage, die Anlage, das Essen, das Tauchen, das Schnorcheln, aber auch über das Wetter, usw. erreicht.
