Essential Checklist for Umrah in August
Umrah, the holy journey to Mecca, is a significant task for Muslims wanting spiritual renewal and connection to Allah. Muslims can accomplish the sacred pilgrimage to Mecca at any time for 12 months. They are required to make careful planning for the pilgrimage, whether they perform it at any time of the year. So, in this case, planning Umrah in August requires careful consideration of various factors, including weather conditions, travel plans, and personal preparations. In this article, we provide an important plan to help visitors through the difficulties of performing Umrah during the month of August.
A comprehensive checklist for performing an Umrah trip in August is below:
Weather-Appropriate Clothing:
Packing comfortable clothing is an important component of an essential checklist for Umrah. You must bring your attire for the pilgrimage according to weather conditions in Mecca and Medina. If you want to perform a holy journey during summer, packing breathable and light clothing is suitable. During summer, the temperatures in Mecca can range between 40 to 49 °C. Packing light and breathable attire is advantageous for departing during this time. The summer typically lasts from May to September in mostly part of Saudi Arabia. So, if you travel to Mecca during August, bring light and breathable clothing for Umrah. During this month, the temperatures in Mecca can range between from 29 to 43 °C.
2. Comfortable Footwear:
It's important to have the right shoes for your Umrah trip. Pilgrims should pick shoes that fit well and aren't too tight or too open. Women can wear closed shoes, but men can't. But sandals or shoes with open toes are also fine.
3. Travel Documentation:
Pilgrims must bring the required travel documents for Umrah. These documents may include:
A valid passport and its photocopies
Visa
Non-refundable flight tickets
Accommodation booking confirmation documents
Passport size photographs
Travel itinerary
Travel insurance
4. Financial Planning:
Going to Mecca, the holy city, is every Muslim's dream vacation. The beautiful act of worship is called Umrah. The trip is one of the most important things Muslims will ever do. So, they need to plan and get ready for it in many ways, such as mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. You must bring enough cash and debit cards when you pack for Umrah. It is important for travellers to bring enough local currency (Saudi Riyals) before embarking the religious travel to Mecca. This consideration will protect you from any financial issues during the pilgrimage.
5. Electronic Devices and Connectivity:
Make sure that all of your electronics, like smartphones and cameras, are in good shape. Bring the chargers and plugs you need with you. Having a solid communication plan with foreign talking and internet choices will help you stay in touch with family and friends.
6. Personal Hygiene Items:
Pilgrims must bring personal hygiene items when packing for Umrah in August. These items include the following:
Toothpaste and toothbrush
Soaps and shampoos
Sunscreen lotions (for protecting from scorching heat)
Towels
Other Items
You must bring a reusable water bottle to avoid dehydration during the pilgrimage when performing Umrah during August.
Carrying a first aid bag, which includes suggested medicines is essential.
Conclusion:
When you do Umrah in August, there are some difficulties and chances that you might not have had before. By following this important checklist, travellers can concentrate on the spiritual meaning of their trip instead of the details of how they will get there. If you travel to Mecca for Umrah as a lady, knowing about your checklist for Umrah is essential. If you want to acquire the authentic knowledge, read this: The Ultimate Umrah Checklist for Ladies: Everything You Need to Know Even though it may be hot in Mecca during August, visitors can still experience the life-changing power of Umrah in the greatest month if they plan and prepare well. Everyone who goes on this holy trip should experience a lot of spiritual growth and grow closer to Allah.

Jumu'ah Sohbet: 30 August 2024
Alhamdulillah ours is a never-ending and profound ocean of spiritual learning as limitless as Allah! I, therefore, begin in that very name, Bismillah:
#1. Your Wakil Abbu adeptly conducted our Jumu'ah Sohbet, Alhamdulillah. He provoked deep thinking in us by reflecting on some of our basic haq (truth / reality):
- In Arabic, the word Islam means submission or surrender. In life, it implies giving up something, but do we only do that as a matter of convenience? As murids (followers of a Sufi Tariqa), he asked us to reflect on our ability to surrender.
- Furthermore, do we observe an adab (etiquette) of surrender, or is it habitual?
- He quoted Shaykh Taner in remembering that when we choose to surrender, we hand over our affairs to Allah and we have to trust the outcome as good. When we truly surrender, we are choosing to be Shahid (witness) where we're watching Allah enact through and around us!
Your Abbu struck these deep reflections in your Ammu pertaining to surrender:
- When physically "disabled," she was made to surrender at all levels of her being, often without a choice on convenient matters, Shukran Ya Allah (Divine gratitude!) Moreso, your Aunty Pontso who is her Caregiver even reflected how it doesn't seem as if your Ammu is an accident survivor, Subhana'Allah 😅
- Where loving Allah was magnetically drawn into herself by unconscious, then obliging, to an eventual peaceful surrender to the process of our daily devotions. Shukran Ya Allah, for her being palpably rewarded for it!
- She equally surrendered to connecting like no other time to our entire spiritual chain, such has been Allah's generosity in opening her consciousness as per her Divine plea, Shukran Ya Allah!
- Through her daily devotions taking priority over her nafs's desires, has she experienced the benefits of handing her affairs to Allah. Shukran Ya Allah!
- Finally, Khalifa Rubina through Sura Waqiah in our Monday Qur'an Contemplation session made her aware that beyond physical and material sustenance, she has gained spiritual sustenance. Where, she simply cannot stop the insightful contributions pouring from her mind and heart as per her desire and dua'a to connect with the Qur'an. Shukran Ya Allah!
#2. Thereafter, Anne (our spiritual mother) blew your Ammu's perceptions away as a Hajjie and Umrahtie herself. Anne described the differences between Hajj (Pilgrimage) or Umrah (a visit to Mecca and Medina) in Shariah (Islamic cannons) vs. Tariqa (spiritual path). It left your Ammu craving for a return of her physical ability so that she can consciously circumambulate around the Kaaba, which is the house of Allah within her, as all our respective hearts. Anne relayed Allah's poetry:
'... When you witness Dervishes, their left foot stays in, and you turn around that. There is a lot more to the whirling, this Samawat (Heavens), Planets, Angels, and everything in this world. We all turn around Allah's energy, whether willingly or unwillingly, because when the Planets turn, we are turning too, whether we want to or not.
We have the bigger blood circulation and the smaller system, which are all also turning around our respective hearts. The heart keeps pumping all the life-giving energy to our whole body. In that sense, we are physically experiencing that tawaf (circumambulation). Our spiritual tawaf is consciously circumabulating the heart.'
youtube
#3. In conclusion, Anne powerfully reflected that most of us humans naturally, especially Sufis, come to realise our incompleteness and the impossible goal of complete enlightenment. While there might be enlightened posts that we can achieve, there is no ending because Allah is unlimited! Allah created us incomplete, but through this journey of inner Pilgrimage, Allah will complete us with His blessing, insha'Allah!
Even us being incomplete is a blessing from Allah. We are like empty cups filling ourselves up with Allah's Nur (Light) intentionally. Therefore, Wakil Abbu, Baba, and Ma make dua'a that I can complete my inner Hajj more richly than my outer experiences of both Hajj and Umrah. I suspect that my later acquired Sufi eyes will enrich the consciousness of my inner Kaaba more than my original, outer experiences. Therefore, I have even surrendered my nafs's craving for just one more experience of a Hajj or Umrah as a matter of convenience, albeit conscious, with your Wakil Abbu! 😅😉 Eyvallah (as Allah wishes), of course!
In conclusion, Bismillah to Abbu's upcoming work commitments that will lead him to serve away from us, but for us!
Shukran Ya Allah
Ya Muqtadir Ya Qadir Ya Nafi
Ya Ghalib Ya Azim
Ya Wadud Ya Salaam Ya Jami Ya Nafi

Queen Rania of Jordan celebrates her 53rd birthday on 31 August 2023
The Royal Court has released two new portraits of Queen Rania for the happy occasion.
The past year featured a number of joyous occasions for the Hashemites: the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein, the wedding of Princess Iman, the university graduation of Princess Salma, and the high school graduation of Prince Hashem.
In the days and weeks preceding their children’s weddings, Their Majesties were eager to share their happiness with their country’s people, involving the Jordanian public in the various celebrations marking the marriages of their first-born son and eldest daughter.
Her Majesty hosted a Henna party for Princess Iman, as well as a dinner party held in honor of the Crown Prince’s wife, Princess Rajwa, where the Queen and members of the royal family were joined by women from across Jordan’s 12 governorates to celebrate the two happy occasions. Both events spotlighted the richness of Jordanian culture and included several folkloric musical and dance performances by local female artists.
Throughout the year, Queen Rania continued to follow up on issues of importance to the Jordanian public by carrying out a number of visits to charitable associations, home-based businesses, startups, and other organizations across the country’s cities, villages, and rural areas.
A celebrated advocate for women and youth, Her Majesty’s local engagements included meetings with women artisans and young entrepreneurs, as well as visits to a number of women-led initiatives and associations supporting women’s financial empowerment.
During the holy month of Ramadan last March, for the second consecutive year, the Queen organized a mission to Umrah – the lesser Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca – for 500 women from across Jordan, a group of whom the Queen joined to perform the sacred pilgrimage herself. Earlier, in December 2022, Her Majesty took part in the lighting of the Fuheis Christmas tree among members of Jordan’s Christian minority.
Alongside her work within Jordan, over the course of the year, Queen Rania participated in several distinguished global gatherings, and accompanied His Majesty on a number of regional and international working visits.
At the invitation of the Her Majesty Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom, Queen Rania attended a reception at Buckingham Palace in London aiming to raise awareness of violence against women and girls. She also met with U.S. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden at the White House while joining His Majesty and Crown Prince Al Hussein on a visit to Washington, D.C.
While in D.C., the Queen delivered the keynote speech at the 2023 National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) Gathering’s International Luncheon on Capitol Hill, where she affirmed that religion is not “a shelter for hiding,” but “a launch pad for living.” She also posited that, in the face of widespread polarization, the act of prayer can lead us towards a better, more nuanced path that she described as “the third way.”
“This third way is not the average of extremes, but rises above the binary, elevating us to higher ground that can become common ground as well,” she said. “Our win doesn’t need to be someone else’s loss. And being right doesn’t mean that the other side is wrong — only that we need other points of view to see a multi-dimensional picture.”
The Queen also spoke at the 2023 Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, where she underscored the potential pitfalls of humanity’s increased reliance on technology. “I am concerned that we’re undervaluing the most precious currency of all – our time,” Her Majesty said. “I am concerned that, even as virtual reality improves by the day, we’re neglecting the needs of our actual reality.”
In her capacity as a member of the Earthshot Prize Council, the Queen delivered remarks at the first-ever Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, hosted in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. In her speech, Her Majesty called for mobilizing collective action and ingenuity to repair the planet, cautioning against claiming that “climate change is somebody else’s problem,” or leaving it for future generations to address.
This year, Queen Rania continued to use her global platform to advocate on behalf of refugees in Jordan and beyond. At the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in New York, Her Majesty explained that a refugee crisis is “not just a short-term humanitarian crisis,” but rather a “crisis of human development” that requires long-term solutions focusing on growth, building resilience, sustainability, and job creation.
Additionally, the Queen repeatedly underscored disparities in the treatment of refugees based on their country of origin. Speaking at the Paris Peace Forum, she noted the difference in reception of refugees from Ukraine to those from countries such as Syria, Myanmar, and South Sudan, who had also been driven from their homes.
“What accounts for the contrast in compassion? Does skin color make all the difference?” she asked.
In May, Queen Rania attended the coronation ceremony of the King Charles III and Queen Camilla in London alongside King Abdullah. Their Majesties also attended the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in September.

Saudi Arabia tourism hits record spending by foreign tourists in 2023
Foreign tourists visiting Saudi Arabia spent a record SAR 45 billion ($12 billion) on hospitality facilities in 2023.
This accounted for 32% of total tourist spending, the Saudi Ministry of Tourism reported on 14 August.
Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector is experiencing unprecedented growth as the kingdom continues its efforts to diversify its revenue sources beyond oil and the traditional religious Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage tourism. The country is also investing heavily in new technologies to demonstrate its ability to shift away from traditional tourism-led transport systems.
The ministry reported that total spending by foreign visitors last year reached SAR 141 billion, of which SAR 25.5 billion (18%) was spent on shopping.
The tourism component of Saudi Arabia’s balance of payments recorded the largest historical surplus of SAR 48 billion in 2023, driven by strong growth in inbound tourism. The upward trend continued in the first half of 2024, with the number of tourists reaching 60 million and expenditure approaching SAR 150 billion.
Vision 2030
The growth is in line with government initiatives to develop the sector as part of Saudi Arabia’s broader economic diversification strategy in its Vision 2030. The tourism boom comes as the kingdom seeks to establish itself as a global tourist destination by launching ambitious projects and easing visa restrictions to attract international visitors.
According to Anita Mendiratta, Special Advisor to the Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, Saudi Arabia is seven years ahead of its Vision 2030 tourism goals, attracting 106 million visitors and surpassing its target of 100 million tourists.
Saudi Arabia has achieved this both materially through transportation links and immaterially through its hospitable reception of the world.
In 2019, Saudi Arabia launched an e-visa system for travellers from 66 countries, allowing them to explore the kingdom’s vast tourism potential and take part in various activities.
The high prices are aimed squarely at wealthy holidaymakers from the Gulf and wealthy East Asians, who don’t mind that the country’s new resorts are dry locations, as alcohol is currently banned even offshore.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. Muslims around the world observe fasting in this holy month. It begins and ends with the appearance of the crescent moon. Because the Muslim calendar year is shorter than the Gregorian calendar year, Ramadan starts 10 to 12 days earlier every year. This way it falls in every season throughout a 33-year cycle.

Hajj and Umrah Packages from Bangladesh
Hajj is a special wish of a Muslim man or woman. Hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime for those who can afford it. One of the five pillars of Islam is the holy Hajj. Prayers and fasting are obligatory for all Muslims, rich and poor, but in the case of Hajj and Zakat, they are obligatory only for those Muslims who are financially able. When performing Hajj, a Muslim must go to a place chosen by Allah and perform certain rituals.
Millions of Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh travel to Saudi Arabia for Hajj every year. If a pilgrim wants to go for Hajj from Bangladesh, he cannot go alone. Pilgrims must go for Hajj through Hajj Agencies of Bangladesh involved in conducting Hajj. Hajj Package is announced by the Ministry of Hajj of Bangladesh Government. In light of this announced Hajj package, Hajj agencies involved in private Hajj management are announcing Hajj packages from Bangladesh. Anyone can go for Hajj if they want through government management or private management.
How many steps does a pilgrim have to go through in preparation for Hajj?
First, they must pre-register. After pre-registration, you have to wait for the transition to the relevant year. He is scheduled to hit the road that year after reading his series within the quota set by the government.
Pilgrims can make detailed agreements with agencies about their facilities. The pilgrim gets full benefits from the private Hajj agency as per the contract. If the Hajj agency from Bangladesh does not perform the Hajj service properly according to the contract, the Hajj agency must calculate the penalty according to the law.
Why take a Hajj package?
Cannot a pilgrim perform Hajj without a Hajj package? What is the difference between private and public Hajj? We usually get so many questions.
In its 10 years of existence, Zamzamtravelsbd.com has helped hundreds of Bangladeshi Muslims to make their Umrah packages from Bangladesh. With our customized cheap umrah packages, Zamzamtravelsbd has become the best hajj company in Bangladesh.
The Umrah Hajj tour from Bangladesh is starting again after two years due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Umrah pilgrims are traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah from August 2021. Devoted Muslims from all over the world eagerly perform Umrah. Umrah packages from Bangladesh are selected from various umrah agents. Hajj Agency Bangladesh will help Bangladesh if it is still required to get a visa for Umrah packages. Hajj from Bangladesh is performed only once a year, but you can perform Umrah Hajj at any time of the year. For example, Hajj from Bangladesh costs at least three million and fifty thousand takas. Umrah packages from Bangladesh cost 1 lac to 1.40 lac taka. You can also go for the price. People who can afford it feel more comfortable with a customized umrah package.
Why go for Umrah in a package?
There are many clients who want to go for Umrah on their own without the help of an agency. Can I go for Umrah in this case? If someone wants to go for Umrah, he has to get an Umrah visa with the help of some agent. To apply for an Umrah visa, you must apply for an Umrah visa approved by the Saudi Embassy. Once you get your visa, you can buy a ticket and travel on your own.
But traveling alone to Saudi Arabia for Umrah would not be wise at all. For a good reason, you should go to an agency or Umrah packages from Bangladesh.
Travel agencies in Bangladesh announce different types of Umrah packages. You can take the Umrah package of your choice. Keep in mind that you need to know the details of the agency before taking the Umrah package. Because it is your responsibility to know the details before accepting any service. Then you will not be deceived. Since you are going to perform Umrah for the sake of Allah, it is better to take everything clearly. Umrah fringe travelers usually cannot contact an Umrah agency directly. They carry the Umrah package through local agents. In some cases, they go to perform Umrah with the leader of a local group. They do not understand or feel the need to understand what Umrah package is. They just package Umrah at low cost.
Best Umrah Package Provider in Bangladesh
Find the best Umrah package providers in Bangladesh in this article. Dear readers, let me tell you in advance that the name of any such best Umrah agency need not come here. If you read the article, you can choose such an organization. The article is intended for Bangladeshi readers. It will be very helpful for all Hajj or Umrah pilgrims around the world.
Whenever a Muslim intends to perform Umrah, he must contact one of the Umrah agencies. Most of the Bangladeshi Umrah travelers cannot contact the Umrah agency. Because most of the Umrah pilgrims in our country are from rural areas.
Are we the best Umrah package provider?
We try to use our experience and expertise to announce the best Umrah package. We inform umrah pilgrims about all things about the umrah tour. A service contract is concluded with each. This is a way to ensure the best service. We are always ready to fulfill our duties and responsibilities. So our announced Umrah package is the best.
Finally, we can say that the umrah pilgrim can find the "best umrah package provider". Analyzes some criteria of an umrah agent. Details already written above. Umrah pilgrims must know all steps of the umrah tour. Follows KSA government umrah policy. Keeping spiritual facts and patience in your mind. It can find the best umrah package provider in Bangladesh.
