"Stay." He orders as he looks at you, almost disdainingly. His eyes are dark, looking at you with tiredness. You remain sitting on your knees over the comfortable mattress he laid out for you to sleep in, inside a locked room to which there's only one key, no windows. Only a television, the mattress, pillows and blankets and some books to keep yourself entertained.

You obey, because you're terrified. You only nod, looking at him wide eyed as he sets the plates of food in front of you. White rice, some kind of meat, a glass of water.

"Can I trust you with a real knife? Or do I have to hand feed you so you won't get any stupid ideas," The word stupid is said with anger, as if he's daring you to try and attack him. You only shake your head in disagreement, he frowns. "Use your words, I won't kill you for talking... just for screaming." He murmurs the last part, averting his gaze.

"I can use the knife, but... whatever you feel most comfortable with." You answer him in a meek whisper, and his expression relaxes. He hands you a small knife by the handle, well mannered as usual. He stops for a second, only staring at you, making you fluster, heat rising to your face just a bit.

"Do you want me to leave or do you want to eat with me?" He asks, rather curtly, he always sounds upset, like he's mad at you for some unknown reason.

"Ah? Oh. A-At a table?"

"Where else?" Both of your brows furrow, and nervousness makes you look away from each other.

"Well- Uhm... If- If I could that would be nice, I suppose..."

He takes the knife away from your hands, and stands tall over you.

"Carry your plate to the table, I'll be there in a minute once I serve myself." You nod, he nods. You both go to do your own thing.

The house he has you in is modest, elegant almost. The only decorations he has are some strange artwork using what seems to be resin hands and eyes, your own face at times looking at your soul from paintings you don't know when he painted. You carefully set yourself at the table, looking at your feet in fear of what he will do if he finds you staring at his bizarre decors.

"Eat." His voice gets you out of your train of thought, you only nod again, and slowly start to eat. You don't look at him, and neither does he look at you, only focusing on the task at hand. The sounds of silverware clanking against each other the only thing preventing you from going mad, and him from pouncing over you. You do that to him, get him murderous for some reason. "Is it to your liking?"

"Yes, it's quite alright. The flavo-"

"Not the food. The art." He asks, now staring at you from across the table. You look around, taking it in. You try to mask the deep breath you're taking.

"I... I don't know much about art to give an opinion. But... but it's interesting." You murmur, not knowing what else to say. It's bizarre, disturbing even, but you don't know if he would explode at you if you told him so. His eyes narrow into thin slits as he takes in your words, but his expression relaxes ultimately.

"I will educate you, don't worry." He answers, putting you at ease for the moment. "You will learn to like the art... and to like me." You don't say anything, only nod at his words. He's standing next to you in a second, tall and menacing, his hand, veiny and calloused from use grips at your jaw with force. "Look at me when I'm speaking." Your breath hitches, and you do your best to avoid breaking eye contact as you nod. His expression is hard, unreadable, you wonder why he's this way. He's young, he's handsome, but there's this strange, underlying darkness that surrounds him. If it were another situation, you would look at him, really look at him, and try and gather the courage to ask for his number. Unfortunately, the situation isn't that, it's this... mixture of emotions and bloody messes. He steps away from you, letting go, not looking at you as he speaks again. "After you finish eating go and get cleaned, I'm painting you, naked." You try to not cry, sniffling as quietly as you can. "I'll wash the dishes."

His studio has a single ceiling window in multiple colored glasses, the sun light is nice, it's been a while since you felt it. Your body feels exposed, maybe because it is. You're naked, sitting on a soft, velvet vanity sofa, it's almost cliche in nature. He's setting up his equipment, paintings, brushes, water, chemicals.

"Wrist." He orders, and you immediately show it to him. He chooses a small blade, sharp and glinting under the multicolored light of the ceiling window. "Stay." Another order, you comply, and he presses the tip of the blade against your skin, he looks at you, his expression soft. "Breathe in." He whispers, and you do as told, you inhale, and he drags the blade through your skin, blood starting to fall out of the wound. "Breathe out." You exhale, tears in your eyes. He almost seems proud as he collects all of the crimson liquid that falls from the open wound. He presses an alcohol soaked cloth against it once it has stopped bleeding, holding you close as you try and wince away from the sting. He hushes you, a soft, tender kiss pressed over your hair as he carefully bandages the wound. "Good girl, good job. You're so good to me."

He goes back to his station, orders you on how to pose and you comply. Your face looks cute after you've cried, red in the nose, puffed up lips and teary eyes, he smiles. Once you're all set, he stops before painting, considering something.

"I've already painted you crying..." He murmurs to himself, the back to you. "Masturbate."

Your eyes widen.

"Eh?"

"Do it." He orders, growling.

"But- I-" He stands up abruptly, his stool falling as he walks over to you.

"And here I thought you were starting to understand. I'll just have to do it myself," He spreads your legs apart, spits over your cunt and shoves two fingers inside your entrance. You squirm, a choked scream leaving your lips as his free hand traps your wrists. You try and close your legs as he roughly thrusts his fingers in and out, a squelching sound invading the room. Keep them open," His eyes are intense, only staring at your leaking entrance as he continues to finger you roughly, a thread of slick and blood mixed together coating one of his fingers. Once his hand tires, erratically he reaches for an instrument. The handle of a knife, expertly held by the blade, is shoved inside you. You cry out, cumming around it. You feel disgusted, violated. And he breathes heavily, still staring at your entrance.

He cut his hand with the knife blade when he did that, but he can ignore the sting of the cut, more blood to paint if that's the case. He pulls it out, you're staring at nothing, sniffling, glowing after your orgasm. He throws the knife away, and sits back on his stool, in front of his canvas. He takes a deep breath, ready to start painting, giving you one last order.

"Stay."

I will not take submissions of real-life magicians, as this is not real, reality-bending magic, it's misdirection. So, sorry Houdini, and sorry Penn and Teller, you're out of this one!

Hi yago! I read your tags! And I just wanted to take a moment to say: it is good that you're drawing things you both like and don't like! I know it's a bit discouraging, especially when you want to make weirder or more cartoony things, but part of building your art style is finding out what you dislike, just as much as finding out what you do like.

I love seeing your experiments. I love seeing how other artists think, and grapple with shapes and expressions and points of view. I realized recently I don't sketch very often? I don't draw a lot just for the sake of playing around. I normally draw as a means to a larger piece, and watching your sketches always makes me want to try to sketch more often myself.

Goodness, this turned into a ramble. Whoops.

In short: I'm sorry you're struggling with your art style! But I love seeing your thoughts, and I think your thoughts are stepping stones to something greater. I hope you continue having fun experimenting, and playing around with your art.

and i very much agree with everything you said. it's not a bad thing if you like some drawings less than the other, every one of them still helps to move you forward in way. even though it sucks when a drawing is not as cool as you hoped it would be x) we learn from our mistakes and stuff! not that a bad drawing is a mistake, but you know what i mean. every experience is a learning opportunity! sometimes it just takes a bit of time to realize that you're moving in a different direction. and it takes time to change course as well.

i dont think it's bad that im drawing things more "realistically" or at least with more uhm, normal proportions idk. generally it's a norm for artists to have many different styles they can switch between, and both realistic and cartoony styles are part of me and my skill pool. i just sometimes forget that i can do more than one thing and get hang up on stuff, and it feels like im trapped in one style even though I really am not.

about the sketches actually! yknow i noticed some time ago that i developed a habit of coloring every sketch i do? and it's not a bad thing, but it's certainly odd, and it used to upset me if i couldn't color something, it felt unfinished and not good enough. and I've been slowly trying to break out of this habit and sketch more and try to... loosen up? i guess? maybe to lower my standards or expectations for myself, something like that. it's very hard still but i can say im definitely enjoying drawing a lot more right now!

and im really happy that my sketches make you want to sketch too, i definitely know the feeling of seeing a drawing and just wanting to draw something yourself, so its very flattering :3

we should hang out in magma or something like that some time, just to sketch together! ive seen a lot of artists organizing those but they're always in the middle of the night for me hdhjdhs

Analysis of why I think my oc works oddly well in assassination classroom ♡

Tldr the way she gets put into the place is accidentally seeing the kids trying to assassinate Korosensei when she just went on a hike to kinda bird watch / see the scenery, debating on if she moved to Japan or if she's a tourist type who ended up getting abit more stuck than intended

either way she didn't realize there was even a school in the mountain alongside doesn't even realize Korosensei is. Alive. "Oh mascot costume" / "Oh a Kraken???"

Overall she assumed the kids and some guy in a costume were playing or something and was about to leave and carry on her life before karasuma catches her and. Now the government is having her work at the school as legally a teachers aid because (still IFFY) but . Probably cuz need more eyes and maybe keeping an eye on her via karasuma?

Either way she arrived after Irina does and before the assembly maybe adding a day or two between those in some sorta fake epside 4.5 or smthn

Now that that's over with, for the people who dont know scarlette herself is a monster hidden in plain sight, a human turned into one after an incident, alongside is surprisingly strong and lethal in her own rights, very good at avoiding killing people, and happens to have inhuman capabilities of her own. And she is hiding it from the government and everyone in E-Class, terrified they are going to kill her too

Korosensei and Scarlette parallels on the surface is very fun!

Both are monsters in some form and end up being better for it even if originally it was against their wills alongside have to deal with the government doing things

Korosensei is nearly unkillable and the governments desperate to slaughter him enough to listen to his demands

Scarlettes honestly also really hard to kill due to her own capabilities, and accidentally got herself into this mess, and now she's hiding herself from everyone so the government doesn't give her the same treatment as Koro,

As Koro himself states. "The world wouldn't let something like me live" and all

Korosensei having been the Reaper originally. Intimately familiar with how to kill a man. Finally as his new life as a teacher, using those skills to help rather than Hurt now

And my funky gal scarlette, is also very aware of how to kill a man, the thing is however her mother trained her to Avoid the vitals in a fight

Scarlette is a skilled fighter due to her mother's insistence she learn for her own safety, and in the end scarlette ended up keeping all that knowledge and skill in her mind, before she became a monster she had strength but after? She got stronger, in the end she's unassuming. A small lady who's chronically socially anxious, so pitiful, and surely can do no harm. Meanwhile she's aware of how to beat someone up and not kill them.

Annnd I like to think, she was able to hit Korosensei

Hear me out I swear I have a reason.

I think its fun and I'm being self indulgent here

She has enough simularities to Aguri i like to think that when Korosensei had been interacting with her that clouded his judgement abit, bonus her being genuinely distressed about having to be at the school early on, plus her general endearingly pathetic nature.

rambling ingeneral now its more how I picture interactions going .. this isn't even parallels anymore woops

His guard was let down when he reached over to make sure she was okay after seeing her quiet in the corner having a moment, and grab her attention, however she had been disassociating due to stress and the overwhelming overstimulation of wearing clothes she hated on her skin just to hide her inhuman features, and she swung as soon as she realized someone touched her. Landing a successful hit on him, and also gaining the respect of the students, and Korosensei realizing he shouldn't be looking at who this new woman reminds him of, but rather at herself. And he saw that punch was full of unbridled Terror, no bloodlust at all.

He ends up praising her, afterall, she landed a hit so hard it slightly launched him before he dashed to a safer area, however she's deeply distraught and genuinely apologetic. Now people want her to join the assassination and she's coming up with many excuses on why her capabilities wouldn't work out, he knows her tricks now so it wont work a second time, he doesn't have human anatomy her knowledge wouldn't work, she's bad with proper weapons she's better at fist fighting, etc etc.

He was the kindest person to her when she got stuck here, Irina being herself scared scarlette off and Karasuma also being regular also scared her off, the two likely begrudgingly having accepted babysitting duty towards a civilian

Korosensei however was kind from the get go, letting her feel welcome, giving her a chance to not feel entirely out of place. He likely wanted to see what she'd do, curious enough, and was pleased she was genuinely respectful towards the students, even if some were at first more against a new athoritive figure and kinda easily bullied her

Why would she want to hurt the guy? She sees him as a friend. Which ya know. Might be a bit concerning considering he says he'll blow up the earth like he did the moon, but.

He treats the students like people rather than simply lesser. She herself never had any adults in her life beyond her actual parents who helped her or were that understanding towards her, so him being kind to both her and the children makes her deeply respect and trust HIM quickly after just afew days most likely

Later on? He tries joking about her attack. If shes sure she doesnt wanna join the assassination. And she would be blunt about how she doesn't WANT to hurt him, and how she's genuinely sorry for attacking before, and how she shouldn't have been so outta it then, she will be more alert from now on and won't repeat her mistakes, but she also doesn't want to hurt Korosensei.

"If you want me to kill you, act like someone who I'd want to kill"

They both likely respect each other and, Korosensei definitely sees Aguri in her, but.. he definitely is starting to properly grow fond of the person scarlette is. An anxious violent but kind and well meaning individual, who would never be able to assassinate him, because she had no drive to kill. A drive to survive yes, but she has no capability to want to use her knowledge to kill unless deeply unwell in the moment.

Now a different segment....

Scarlette as a child was bullied and outcasted by her peers, she fought back when she was bullied and terrified her peers over winning them over, a child who eventually lashed out and tried desperately to gain the attention of anyone if she couldn't have affection. Her parents supported her but she was still deeply lonely.

Eventually growing quiet and self contained, she ended up finding a friendship in a boy around her age, but his intentions were to use her. he hurt her, made her his attack dog, and she just believed she deserved this since he was her only friend . Eventually confessing a crush, He rejected her so harshly she broke her self esteem . It's not that she loved him romantically, but that she was proven that she could never be loved. soon after she moved schools again, and found new people, but she was so desperate to escape the schoolyard purgatory she graduated early at 17 and became a shut in. Desperate to not have to be hurt again.

Sounds pretty good and close to E class

The outcasts shunned from the main building because they couldn't keep up with the crowd, who are always bullied to "set an example" and what not. The "low lives" of the school.

Scarlette understands these kids deeply because she was in a similar enough situation at their age, she wasn't in a classroom specifically FOR it, but she had no one on her side when she was all alone and being hurt by her peers and teachers who labeled her a problem child

Compared to Irina Karasuma and Koro-sensei, who do all have tragic pasts, never really had pasts similar to the kids from what I know?

Scarlette may slightly project onto the kids.. but she means well, and she's going based off of how she would have felt if something like that happened to her as a kid

Scarlette got called "sadly one of the better outcomes if an e class kids grew up" by lunanitic and . Yeah she really is

When Koro threatens to abandon the children if they don't ace the midterms she gets very very mad and yells at him, slightly projecting, but all the same aware that he's the reason they're okay, and if he leaves she will be forced to leave, and Irina and Karasuma won't stay most likely... so who would those kids have?

She herself never says her past due to how she "knows" someone will state it "wasn't that bad and she should have gotten over it by now"... but having told no one what happened to her, never telling her parents anything, her friends don't even know. She fully believes she deserved it all because she's an inherently bad person. And there's no one to tell her otherwise

I think it's funny, putting in someone who never thought they'd make it past 30 years old. Scarlette desperately wants to but feels it just isn't possible, like she doesnt deserve to, and then she learns of Korosenseis threat. And she just knows, she was probably right

Deeply self sacrificing to a concerning degree, getting harmed for the sake of others because she will survive the pain anyways, she will recover quicker than a human can. She would lay down her life for those who are important, and isn't that a beautiful thing to add to the series, when Korosensei is reminded of Aguri with scarlette :)

This Kieran is in AU as to what happens if Florian doesn't lie to him about Ogerpon and whatnot! Kieran still doesn't get Ogerpon and is fine with it ( kind of, as in this made him feel inferior to having friends and will always be chosen over by other people. ) His way of thinking is that maybe he should try to be nice and kind to others so that will help him get friends as he sees Florian do this the same to others. ( The only thing Kieran thinks he's not good at is having a funny personality. He is very awkward in person. ) Blueberry Academy was hard on him as he was almost practically as ignored and students tend to forget he is the champion because of his cowardly personality. Florian took over later as champion. Okay there.

I've been working on this for about a month! Hiding from it for about 2 weeks!

Honestly I just figured if fanfic is by it's very nature self-indulgent, why not go all in and just use it for introspection and therapy? 🙈 So I've writteeeeeenn 5k words on Ellie and Emmrich's relationships with death. + dwarf shit, because you know I can not resist!!

The ever lovely @bharv got first dibs on my mess of a WIP and gave such good notes!! Which I will act on!!!!!!! ... Eventually!!!! Here is an exert of 456 words that had limited "needs fixing things":

He watched her gutting a fish. Provisions were tight at the Veil Jumper camp and “every little bit of sustenance helped”, he was told. Compelling as the argument had been, Emmrich had still chosen not to partake and instead opted to work on his notes at a safe distance.

Rook had been excited reeling her fish in, but was clearly upset as she gripped it against the cold, hard rock. He watched its beautiful red scales glitter in the sunlight as it flailed against her hold. “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!” she told the fish, while she fetched her knife. Emmrich was well practiced and looked away just in time.

A calm seemed to wash over Rook after the killing. She removed the hook from the fish’s mouth and picked it up to examine her prize.

“Now that… is a big fish!” Rook celebrated, beaming with pride. Emmrich noted a train of scales where Rook must have swiped her brow. The fish continued to twitch, muscles still unaware they had expired.

Brutality out of the way, now came the part he actually liked. Filleting was just another type of autopsy with purpose. A clean cut was a show of reverence, and only possible by a devoted understanding of the recipient's anatomy. He watched as Rook cut along the fish’s spine towards its tail, biting her lip as she focused, only snagging on a bone once.

It reminded Emmrich of when he used to watch his father as a boy. Butchery was not a respected line of work in Nevarra, though the demand for it persisted. It was many years later that he truly came to appreciate his father’s choice of profession. It was work that others wouldn’t do, but it was work. It was a means to provide for their family, and his father was a great man for that. Though he was often spared from helping with exsanguination, everything that followed after the loss of life had fascinated him. His father would point out the arteries, bones and various muscle groups, and Emmrich would wonder at the miracle of life.

For some reason, Rook had taken out the fish’s heart and held it daintily in her palm., it was still beating. It was quite.. Curious. After a moment of examination, she tossed it into the water and sectioned the rest of the fish’s leftovers into small pouches.

Rook must have noticed his confusion as she was overcome with a need to explain herself. “It’s not weird! It's for crab traps.”

“How very utilitarian.” Mildly impressed and curiosity somewhat sated, he returned to his notes while Rook flung another cast with her rod. He supposed this was one way to help support their comrades while killing time.

... It's winter and I miss fishing and I don't like killing fish, but it is... amazing seeing how they work. Always gotta be grateful though!! Whisper thank you to their still beating hearts Be super normal and just use everything you can + help their habitats!

2025 FIRSTS BUT I HAVE BAD MEMORY

First bit of arts and crafts: UHM. It's almost certainly not the first thing I drew this year but it is the first thing I properly worked on.... Here are my bbgs! They're so silly goofy I want them dead!

I don't remember when exactly I started it this year but It's taken so long (it's not even done ;-;) cause I switched out one of the characters halfway through the process

First movie watched: OKAY funnily enough. I'm in the middle of my christmas break but the first movie I watched (Look Back - Tatsuki Fujimoto) was for school work.... I had to make a reaction paper on a movie to make up my grade since I was absent for a presentation... ANYWAY WATCH LOOK BACK IT MADE ME ALMOST CRY.

First song I listened to: Fuckin,,, I don't know it was definitely something from The Offspring because I had the Smash album cd on my portable while we were waiting for the countdown?? it's between Come Out and Play and Self Esteem

First TV show watched: I. I rewatched all of Squid Game. I have nothing to say for myself. Season 1 Gi-hun I MISS YOU <<</3

First book read: God, technically it would be the Deadpool V Gambit comic, but I'm going to say Framed Ink 2 by Marcos Mateu-Mestre because I finished Deadpool V Gambit before the countdown and was just skimming through by the time it was past 12!! And I've been using Framed Ink 2 as an excuse to not think of school...

First fanfic read: WHATEVER IT WAS IT PROBABLY HAD PORN. I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I JUST REMEMBER THAT ONE DETAIL

I think she saw Neve and went appreciative. "Damn that's a pretty lady", but that was it. Surely not love at first side (of either part).

For love love, I think that it was the cutscene pre-Tearstone Island. Mind me, she was not there with her just to pass time and have fun. But surely how serious that story was was most definitely a thought for "after". She just wanted to take her time and fun as they both could. Neve stepping back from her because she's scared? Oh, oh no no no she realized THEN that maybe it was less playful than she thought it was, that it wasn't just a "like". "Trouble, I'm terrorized". And that was it, love with the sudden realization that you maybe are loved back.

6. What is their favorite thing to do together? Do they share any hobbies? Does your Rook teach their partner their own hobbies? Does the partner teach Rook theirs?

Priscilla is big on fashion, and *looks at Neve's nails*. I think they went big on nail art when they have time to spare, and as a side activity as they talk. I picture Priscilla entering Neve's room with bottles and brushes and toothpicks, and they start doing each other's nails as Neve works through a case and Priscilla helps her think, makes questions, goes to conclusion. Eating out and junk food also would be something in common. Priscilla grew up by the sea, so it's all a matter of deciding wish fish-based street food is better. You must taste them all to decide, and then you have to start back, Minrathous is big, so when you're done with the tasting you don't remember the first ones. Lucanis' caffé keeps being a favourite, of course.

All in all, after everything will be over, Priscilla will love to help Neve out in her work: she likes a puzzle, and cases are puzzle. It's her job and she liked her job, instead of hunting treasures she looks for missing people and clues. And it also helps out people.

Most likely Priscilla will try to teach Neve to do her hair and sew clothes, but I can see her just managing basic hairdos and to sew buttons before getting restless. They're good at parallel play and Priscilla is happy to make fancy new clothes for both ("Another tailored suit? Can't I make you a dress? I just have the perfect. Ok. :(" )

Rolling out the Red Carpet for the Cinema branch!!

Hello,hi, it's me that one person who makes the funny videos and thinks she can draw(she cannot) Inspiration hit me in the middle of my film studies course while watching Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock and I thought "what if I made my own LCB branch where every sinner is based on a movie I've watched in my film class (and just general classic Hollywood cinema) and so I did it! The branch is currently VERY unfinished,as I add a new sinner each week for every film we watch in the class,so lemme introduce you to the guys that I've at least doodled so far(awful art incoming lol)

First up,we need a manager,or should I say,director(get it, because it's based on movies?) anyway here's Dorothy! If it wasn't obvious, she's based on the Wizard of Oz,She may or may not have come from the Outskirts and now she's running around with these sinners,and her little dog too! Oh and her red slippers(boots now,IG lol)? Those have a use, clicking her heels 3 times allows her to bring her sinners back to life!

Our guide is Glinda! Also based on Wizard of Oz,I have....not drawn her yet! But she is ultra hands off,she mainly communicates by sending Dorothy letters in bubbles,oh and did I mention she's a color fixer? ...yea I probably should have started with that

Now onto our actual sinners, don't ask me about major plot details about them,I haven't worked it out yet,

Sinner #1,This is Chaplin! Based on Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin,this guy is more of a fusion of the two main characters of the movie since uhm...neither of them have names and frankly their stories are both so intertwined that You could easily mix them together so here we are. They are the most comical of the sinners,I have described them as having a lot of cat like behaviors to a degree, and they are selectively mute(silent film lol) They have a white board they write on like it's Lethal Company and they have Heelys(mainly for the funny)

I haven't uhm.....finished sinner #2 yet because everytime I try to draw him my art style makes him look like the Pringles mascot lol but it's Kane! Kane is based on Charles Foster Kane from Citizen Kane by Orson Welles! Right now currently he's like "god I'm in a company of all women...AND CHAPLIN" He's rich like....richer than Hong Lu rich,he does seem to offhandedly mention something Rosebud and it seems almost like he's searching for it...wonder what that could be?(Btw go watch Citizen Kane, I'm not telling you what Rosebud is)

Finally out last Sinner at the moment: Sinner #3 Judy based on Judy from Vertigo! Yessir this is the reason for the branch, her source got my imagination spinning (she may or may not be mine and Amia's favorite atm of the branch) I would have made Scottie a sinner but......I hate his ass and need him exploded and not in the cute way(JUDYYYYYY YOU DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER GIRLLL) Judy is also 20x more fun as a character than Mr. "I'm gonna stare at women for 70% of my screentime" Honestly I could gush so much about her but I won't to keep this brief... essentially by the end of Vertigo Scottie convinces her to change everything about herself to turn her into his lost love/obsession Madeleine (ai know there's more too it but uhm....Go watch Vertigo, I'm not spoiling the movie)[PS, Ignore the doodle in the corner, that was from an idea that Amia's OC Tessie and Judy would get along well]

Tomorrow we'll actually have Sinner #4 who's gonna be based on someone from the movie Sunset Boulevard ( I don't pre watch these bc my attention span actually increases so much when I analyze movies for Limbus)

Uhm uhm first off, thank you so much I can't rlly put into words how sweet this is and I totally don't mind the rambles because me too. And also because its been YEARS since I last used Tumblr or did anything answering Ask is a bit tough for me.. MmMM

Although I don't have many HC at the moment.. I can however give you a little insight I have regarding my Human DCA :]

Moondrop (Moon) and Sundrop

- when I first designed Moon (after the game came out) he had a much wilder look to him, especially the face because I was really into the idea of him being simply insane hence the red.

- later when i got back to his design and adding colours I thought that it would be fun to make it Blue and white themed, which I actually didn't see a lot back then

- he wasn't supposed to look human even as a Humanoid, I liked to think that Sun & Moon simply had a renovated body. They are just as much Animatronics as they had always been, robotic parts and everything but with a bit of twist

- So then onto Sun.. the thing is its sad to say but I never explored much with Sun's design back then as much as I did with Moon, so I can't provide a good reference

- although I had a rough idea of how sun would look like I never quite liked the way I drew him, so he's always somewhat been stuck in this unfinished stage

- Then there was eclipse, who was my absolute FAVORITE at that time, I don't think I loved a character MORE THAN ECLIPSE EVER when I was drawing him out

- yes!! It was very much inspired by the 3D render shown here as the ref, though I did make some changes of my own to the design as well

- I had a lot in my head when I was drawing him, but the one thing that I loved most about this design still to thisq day is rhe face. The way I him to look back then was sort of a mix between my Sun and Moon designs, only leaning more towards Sun in colours and Moon in appearance with the crazed look in his eyes

The height was just a funny little thing I thought of, cuz imagine this giant fkn ahh robot just comes in here and picks you up 💀 god I would piss myself

So in regards to the new design, I did kind of get rid of the animatronic feel to him that I had done with the DCA and his old design, all of them now look a whole lot more Human which is what I intended for

Eclipse has a few scars around his body; right forearm, left side of his torso that leads all the way up to his chest. Plus a bit of his face that is burnt which you can't exactly see because of the Black spots

Overall I like my newer designs quite a lot and has also changed a lot, this is probably the most insight you'll get out of me abt my art 😭😭 cuz I don't usually ramble this much otherwise

I might come up with some head canons at a later date, but they'll be fun thats for sure ;)

hi i recently just found your blog and have been enjoying scrilling through the gf tag you have and seeing all your wonderful art! i’m curious if you ever have any other interests that are as long, or even almost as strong as gravity falls since i think i’ve seen your art that was back in 2017! really like your passion! passionate people for the win!

UHM. EXTREMELY GOOD QUESTION. I don't know actually... there are a number of things I can say I've been invested in since then-- some of which I've done fanart for, like wander over yonder, various moomin stories, adventure time-- hell I even draw art for things I used to be passionate about before gravity falls, like old mcyt stuff I grew up with (despite not engaging with them much anymore)... but I can't say there's anything I've cared about for both as long and as strongly.

I think around 2021-2022 is when I realized that if I didn't feel really passionate about something, I couldn't force myself to draw it. for whatever reason, gravity falls has been a cornerstone of whatever inspires me to draw, and I've been trying to embrace it rather than feel really self conscious about drawing a lot of one thing.

Other than GF, I draw a lot of my own original stuff- I've had escape velocity (a comic I'd like to make) on the backburner for a while but I still feel very strongly about that, and it's the only other art folder in my drive I have sorted into individual years because there is a Lot of it. I'd also say I'm very into drawing natural scenery, which goes all the way back to me wandering around on hikes as a kid. I'm very passionate about life/environmental sciences and nowadays all my notebooks are full of trees and other weird stuff I see or think about.

well as previously mentioned I've only written three but of those it goes don't you want to share the guilt, no charming smile no violet eyes, and lastly a heaven so sweet you don't have to die for it young (<- guy who can't stop using rlly long titles)

4) what fandoms do you write for?

just cql because it has an iron clad grip on my brain like nothing else

5) do you respond to comments? why or why not?

no which I feel bad about now but I started out not responding because I suppose I wasn't sure how?? and now it feels too late to start 😭 but know that if you've ever left a comment on a fic I love and cherish and appreciate it and think about it often 🩷

6) what's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

a heaven so sweet you don't have to die for it young.... it's unfinished at a sad part but it was also never going to have a happy ending because it's a speculation on jiang chengs grief in the years that wei wuxian was dead, and the end of that thought is just the part of the canon story that we know is miserable and sad for him. it was also written at a very very difficult time in my life and that for sure comes through in the writing

7) what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

uhm probably ncsnve. I think even dywtstg leaves some things unsaid and a lot of grief unhealed but everyone is doing pretty solid at the end of ncsnve lmao

8) do you get hate on fics?

I've gotten exactly two hate comments on a fic. one was incest appology so it doesn't matter and the other was immediately clowned on by other people 😭 and honestly that one was a compliment to me because it was an "ugh why is the author so Mean to jiang cheng" kind of comment and I was scared that I had been too forgiving to him in that fic so shoutout to that person

9) do you write smut?

no because I refuse to be a virgin writing porn and also I'm full of shame. the best you'll get from me are some flowery illusions to sex 👍

10) do you write crossovers?

no and I'm not rlly a crossover fic reader either. it just doesn't rlly do anything for me I don't care about my guys being in a different universe. I think also like the reason I write fics is to explore the themes and feelings that could not be explored in the show, and a crossover doesn't really fulfill that purpose in any meaningful way to me

11) have you ever had a fic stolen?

not to my knowledge? I don't think anybody cares enough to steal my writing 😭

12) have you ever had a fic translated?

again not that I know of? I wouldn't be opposed to it tho

13) have you ever cowritten a fic before?

no I would hate that so bad. I write for me and me only baby I'm not letting anybody else in here. I also have a very uhm. let's say Strong Personality and I think if I tried to write something with another person I'd kill them

14) what's your all time favorite ship?

15) what's the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

shoutout to jiang sect mo xuanyu au you are so fun and also dead

16) what are your writing strengths?

uuuhm I think that I have a very strong writing "voice" and a good grasp of tone. I'm very articulate and a big stickler for not using the same word multiple times in the same section of writing + finding just the right word for what I mean which I think results in good word choice and interesting prose. I like to believe that I'm good at motifs, parallels, and symbolism, but who knows if thats actually true. at the very least I am very dedicated to them 😭 I've also been told that I'm very good at accurately capturing emotions, which I think is a goal I have in any art I make. one of my favorite compliments I've ever gotten on a fic is that I had written a character with a lot of compassion, and I hope that that is a strength throughout everything I write. at the very least, I put a lot of love into everything I create. also I'm hilarious

17) what are your writing weaknesses?

I struggle a lot w dialogue, both in making it sound the way actual human beings speak, and in keeping strong and consistent character voices. I tend to not know how to separate My voice as a writer from the characters voices and how they actually speak. the barrier of cql being in a different language where everything is translated for me and thus changed also makes this a challenge. I will also be the first one to admit that I am not really a plot guy when it comes to fics. I struggle with plot in my original writing as well and I think that fics as a medium are more forgiving of this weakness but it also limits what I write about when all I'm doing is exploring emotions and not really telling a story. it's a lot to ask people to read 50k words of absolute nothingness 😭 I think my strength of being articulate can also be a weakness at certain times? sometimes I read things I've written and just cringe because certain things come off as gratuitous or miss the mark of being eloquent or poetic and just sort of end up being pretentious or silly. at a certain point it's better to not know all of those synonyms. there are also some grammar things that I simply don't understand. like there are some things that I have a strong grasp on and that I'M very picky about but there's just some writing conventions that I know are a weak point and I'm sure it pisses some people off lmao. as is made evident by these answers I have also been known to sort of go on and on, which I'm sure can get tiring at a certain point

18) thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

20) favourite fic you've ever written?

ncsnve I put a lot of love and heart into it :^) there are things I don't like and wish I could go back and change because they make me want to tear my hair out but overall I think it's a strong piece of writing. you should read it btw xoxo
