If the US Government did not want the people to have military arms, Why...
Did they give and sell US Government military weapons since the founding of the country and still do today? Black Powder single shot Muskets, pistols, and (Revolvers were deemed too slow to reload), they perfected and used, then, Turn of century- cartridge single-shot rifles and single-shot pistols and revolvers, mid-century cartridge lever repeating rifles, revolvers and shotguns, early 1900, bolt guns revolvers and semi-auto pistols, then semiauto rifles and pistols and shotguns, and machineguns, then in 1986 the machine gun sales stopped but was never outlawed. And still today, as a citizen of the United States, you can still buy weapons of war from the US government from the vaults of the US Army stockpiles. In conclusion, if the US Constitution and the founders of the United States did not want the public to own weapons of way, they really did a bad job of it because most of the firearms from the US government were free after service, free to shoot clubs and youth shooting programs. The Left lies every day until the fools believe them; their job is then done.
Right from the left-leaning Ghat GPT;
It's true that throughout history, the U.S. government has provided military arms to citizens, especially during times of conflict or for purposes of national defense. The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution also guarantees the right of citizens to keep and bear arms, although interpretations of this right have evolved, The factual intent of the right has not.

Finding your instructor!
When seeking private instruction, you should expect that your first interview (lesson) is just that.
Basically, an introduction to safety protocols, not necessarily just at the range with the guy you paid to teach you stuff. His job is to make certain that when you leave you have learned other things besides, grip, stance, sight alignment, breath control, trigger squeeze, and trigger cycle.
That they teach you that this is a lifestyle addition to the current lifestyle you are in. You need to understand home, family, and work dynamics as well as the universal safety rules, etc.
The instructor you hired is basically responsible for what you learn and needs to make you aware of the decisions you make at home should be without negligence.
If you want to learn more, please contact us!

Pt. 2. Legality
Good morning! Today we’ll be talking about some of the legal aspects you may want to consider when getting into firearms.
Firstly, I am not a lawyer. This is just my hobby. You should consult an attorney if you have any doubt regarding laws whatsoever. Secondly, laws regarding guns vary to an absurd degree between states. I’ll provide some basic guidelines based off of my personal experience but none of this should be taken as legal advice. I’m just some dude on the internet.
That said, the first thing to consider is whether you can even legally posses a handgun. In most places in the US the minimum age to own a handgun is 21. Some states the age is lower. The USCCA has an interactive map[1] where you can look up your state.
So you’re old enough. That’s the easy part. You must also be a US citizen, not be under indictment for, or convicted of, a felony or violent misdemeanor, not be addicted to, or an unlawful user of, any controlled substance (including marijuana, it’s still illegal federally), not have been adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to a mental institution, not have been discharged from the armed forces dishonorably, not be subject to an order of protection, not have renounced your US citizenship, not be purchasing the firearm on behalf of another person. [2]
Of note, in most states, even where marijuana is legal or decriminalized, it’s a separate crime to be under the influence while in possession of a firearm. Where guns are concerned, weed is something you might remember them talking about in a DARE program once. Impairing your judgment and then handling something that can put holes in things a mile or two away is monumentally stupid. Don’t do it please.
Also of note, when you purchase a firearm you will fill out a form called a ‘4473’ which asks you about all of the previously mentioned things. It is a felony to lie on that form.
“Corvid,” you say, “I’m a prohibited person but I’m scared. What can I do?”
You have three options of which I am aware. The easiest is to bow to the will of the law and give up. The second is to file for a restoration of rights. The third requires some philosophy and risk analysis.
If the law prohibits you from possessing a firearm you are not allowed to possess one. There is a difference, however, between allowed and able.
If you are a prohibited person I cannot recommend that you possess a firearm anyway. If you get caught the maximum penalty is 10 years of prison and a $250,000 fine. [3] If you’re here you’ve already thought about the potential consequences of getting caught without one. Your choices are your own.
The next thing to consider is whether or not you can carry a gun legally. In some states you are required to have a license or permit to conceal a firearm, in some you can carry without one. (frequently referred to as ‘constitutional carry’)
The previously mentioned USCCA map is very useful for determining your situation. You can also, of course, read through your state’s laws or contact your attorney.
Something to be aware of is how state lines can impact the legality of your carry. For example, the state of Oregon does not recognize any other state’s carry permit. But the neighboring states of Idaho and Nevada both recognize Oregon’s permit. So a person living in Nevada but close to the Oregon border may be better served by obtaining an Oregon permit rather than a Nevada permit.
Another situation you may run into is two states that don’t accept each-other’s permits. For example, neither California nor Oregon recognize any other state’s permit. So a person living in California but close to the Oregon border may need to obtain permits in both states.
Permits are generally available via an application process through your local Sheriff’s office.
Alright, so you have a permit or permits as your situation demands. You can carry anywhere you want now, right? Nope. It gets even more complicated.
Even with a permit you are federally prohibited from carrying in any building owned, leased, or rented by the federal government, including visitors centers in national parks. You are also prohibited from carrying in the secure area of airports, in prisons, property owned or controlled by the US Army Corps of Engineers, national cemeteries, military bases, United States Postal Office property, and public or private schools. Additionally, carry on reservations is governed by tribal law not federal or state law.
Many states will also have state laws on where you can and cannot carry. A prime example of this would be government enforced private gun free zones. In some states posting a gun free zone sign on a business elevates the penalty for carrying in that location to a state crime. In other states the worst they can do is trespass you from the location.
One other consideration is specific firearm restrictions in your state. The most common being magazine capacity restrictions. As far as the author has seen the majority of magazine restrictions set the maximum amount of rounds in a handgun to ten.
If you attempted to purchase a Glock 19 as suggested in the introduction you may already know this. The default capacity for a Glock 19 magazine is 15. Individuals living in states with such magazine restrictions may consider the Glock 43x or the Glock 48 instead as they are slightly smaller and come with 10 round magazines.
