Here in Canada it's considered rude/racist to expect people to speak English at all, letalone with the proper pronunciations and accent.

So I've never taken an ESL course so I'm making an assumption here, but why does it seem like, whenever you learn a foreign language, a large part of those lessons are how to pronounce the words properly and in the proper accent, except when people are learning the English language? Almost every foreigner I've ever heard speak English speaks it with their native accent. Do ESL classes really just not even try to teach a proper English accent? Why do Americans constantly get shamed for not having a perfect accent when they're on vacation and sounding out words from a book, but everyone who comes here and stays for 30 years can't be bothered to lose their accent?

All I got from the meme is that Trump should crush dissent with extreme prejudice and force the citizens of the US to treat him like a god. Kinda like what the Democrats wanted to do, and will likely do once they get back in to power.
