Anyway, Peter Parker is Bi, and I Won’t Be Convinced Otherwise.

Firstly, we have to get our bases covered. What exactly is Bi-sexuality? What is sexuality? 

Sexuality is defined as a persons identity in relation to gender(s) they are attracted to. Why is this important? Peter’s sexuality has never been specifically stated in the comics, nor in any other form of media. It’s assumed that he is straight because of his popular relationship with Mary Jane Watson in the comics, and the movies. 

Now that we have a bases for what exactly sexuality is and how it’s defined, let’s go over Peter’s partners. 

Obviously Peter and Mary Jane are a piece of comic book history. They eventually get married, though sadly, during the events of Civil War II (I think, don’t quote me) Peter and Mary Jane sell their marriage to Mephisto in order to save Aunt May

They later had their memories of their marriage restored, they have yet to get back together and it’s been a few issues if I remember correctly. Next we have Peter’s first, and most unfortunate love, Gwen Stacy. 

They dated in high school where she later died. Of course, Peter has dated other people (namely, Black Cat, Betty Brant, Carol Danvers, Anna Maria, Cindy Moon, Lian Tang, and so on). Since we have his known history of heterosexuality out there, we need to move onto another important part of Peter’s Bi-sexuality. An important implication in any media, especially queer media though, and that is the homoerotic subtext. 

Homoerotic subtext is important part of queer culture, a lot of the time it’s used to portray a characters queerness without saying it out (see: Dorian Gray by Oscar Wild or Great Gatsby By Fitz). In current decade, homoerotic subtext is often used for queer baiting or creating more realistic male friendships. 

So what’s the difference between someone creating a health male friendship (or a character comfortable in their heterosexuality) and implying a character is queer? 

Here are some examples of a healthy male character, both with himself and his friendships.  

Clearly he’s just taking the shit, and messing around with Reed. He’s comfortable enough (or as I like to see it, so traumatized because good god this guy has been Spider-Man since he was 15 good god that’s awful. He probably doesn’t care anymore). Here are some examples of Peter a little more than just a straight man shooting the shit. 

This has three meanings. Two of which I will take, one of which is just deeply embarrassing. Despite Peter’s history with humiliating events, I don’t think he would get his own spunk in his eyes. Leaving the other two options, he has experience getting spunk of - some kind - in his eyes, and/or he’s taking the shit again. Which is very likely. 

Kissing a cop? For....no reason? A little not so hetero of you Peter. 

You can practically hear his disappointment in his voice. Also could be read as taking the shit, but why would you. 

Making out with The Thing? Gay. 

This one is the most important. Peter is clearly tired, annoyed by his teammates (see wolverine being wolverine in the corner). Shits on fire, its mid battle, and Peter has the audacity to mutter “I hate men” to himself. The only people I have every heard say this in that was are lgbt and straight women, and lgbt men. This kind of expression only comes from people who date, or deal with men in a completely different world than straight men. Straight men use this phrase as an endearment, “Oh have you seen Bill today, I hate that guy.” “Man Jerry can do so many push-ups, I hate that guy.” Very different language, and implications (I also, obviously don’t know how straight men speak). 

 Now that we’ve gone over our bases, and homoerotic subtext. How else could we gather that Peter Parker is Bi? There are many tropes in media - queer media - that allure to a characters queerness. Like homoerotic subtext, there are ways to tell an audience something without specifically saying it. 

This is a gay wedding Peter went to in the recent comics. I don’t know if any of you have been to a gay wedding recently, but Peters face (the first panel above the wedding) is the same exact face I made at my first gay wedding. It’s the face of excitement for not only the couple, but for yourself. The hope that maybe, you too can actually be in a same-sex relationship. 

I’m also going to allure to queer tropes as stated previously. Such as the real, and fictional trope of lgbt people sticking together. Thousands of years of belittlement and oppression will make groups of people not want to wonder out, and subconsciously look for others like them. 

Johnny Storm (and Wade Wilson since he comes in later but I couldn’t find a picture of the confirmation) is cannon Bi-sexual (Pan-sexual). 

Their friendship is deeply homoerotic as most queer friendships in media and real life are. Johnny flirts with Peter on many occasions (saying his ideal women is a female version of Peter, inviting him over to watch is sex tape, and so on) and of course oh my god they were roommates. 

Some other popular queer tropes are: Found Family, Soulmates, and Enemies to lovers. Because it’s superhero related, this includes the Identity Porn tag as well.  

Peter Parker and Wade Wilson have a famous Love/Hate relationship. I mean, how could you expect anything less when your first meeting with this known mercenary is him throwing your civilian persona out the window of a car. Now, Wade still doesn’t know Peter is Spider-Man in the current run of comics, but that doesn’t make anything about them any less gay. 

For the Found Family Trope: 

Because it’s Peter and Wade, their whole development can be read as Enemies to Friends to Lovers, so I wont bother backing that up because, uh, it speaks for itself. One panel really does to add that cause though 

I’m not going to explain what a free-pass list is.

The Soulmates part I know I have to back up. 

For SoulMates:  

Now this panel requires a little explanation. Wade kills Peter, not knowing he’s Spider-Man. Weasel takes over for Peter (they don’t know its him) so no one suspects he’s dead. Deadpool begins to feel guilty he killed his best buds best bud, so he tries to bring Peter back to life. Losing his stunning good looks (switching back to how he looked before Weapon X making his wife Shiklah estranged (then she married Dracula but thats beside the point)). Spider-Man is Peter’s “true self” or patronus for Harry Potter fans. Wade is stupid and hasn’t connected the dots yet, effectively making him the biggest simp in history. Seriously, who destroys their marriage for the c h a n c e for getting some with their idol? A Simp, that’s who.

Peter forgives Wade for killing him (and for saving him from killing their genetic daughter itsy-bitsy). If someone killed me they better be hot as fuck before I even thing about forgiving them. Ignoring Peter’s super sexy forgiving nature, uh, he’s kinda simping. 

Died in each others arms. Nothing else is needed. 

They’re heartmates. From what I read, the feeling has to be mutual in order for it to work. The witches (long story, comics are hard to explain) that captured deadpool were expecting his wife so they could get the headmistress back. Instead, they got Peter. Basically Heartmates = soulmates but chosen for you instead of chosen by you.

The FBI on Thursday raided three churches associated with the House of Prayer Christian Church in Georgia and Texas.

The FBI has not released a statement regarding the raids.

The House of Prayer is owned by the foreign nonprofit company House of Prayer Christian Churches of America Inc., which registered with the Georgia Secretary of State in 2004. The business's listed officers are affiliated with the Georgia churches and use Hinesville, Georgia, post office boxes as mailing addresses.

Its churches, which are primarily located near military bases throughout the country, have been accused by former members and a veterans' advocacy group of operating like a cult and targeting soldiers.

In August 2020, Veterans Education Success, an advocacy organization based in Washington D.C., asked the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Georgia Veterans Service to investigate alleged abuses of the GI Bill program by House of Prayer Christian Church’s bible seminaries.

Veterans alleged the House of Prayer Christian Church "deceives the VA during inspections and targets veterans in order to access GI Bill funding, VA disability compensation, and VA home loans," according to the organization's letter to the VA and Georgia SAA.

Raid near Fort Stewart

The FBI on Thursday raided The House of Prayer Christian Church in Hinesville. The raid took place just after 8 a.m. on the 2500 block of Airport Road.

Onlookers observed FBI agents with weapons traveling to multiple buildings while a group of women were being guarded by an officer with a weapon.

Jenna Sellitto, an FBI spokesperson, confirmed the agency was executing a court-authorized search warrant. She said no arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.

The House of Prayer Christian Church in Hinesville is located less than 8 miles from Fort Stewart in Liberty County.

Raid near Fort Gordon

Half a dozen FBI agents were seen in the back of the Assembly of Prayer church on Tobacco Road in Hephzibah during a raid that started at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday and continued into the afternoon.

According to a search of property records, House of Prayer Christian Churches owns 2952 Old Tobacco Road, the address of the Assembly of Prayer church in Richmond County.

At about 1 p.m., agents were seen using stairs at the back of the building during the investigation, according to Sgt. William McCarty with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

"We were there to assist them, but referring everything over to the FBI," said McCarty. He said he could not confirm if there were any arrests.

The Assembly of Prayer church in Hephzibah is located just outside of Gate 5 at Fort Gordon.

In an email sent Thursday, Anne H. Bowman, deputy public affairs officer at Fort Gordon, said "Fort Gordon was aware of the organization called the Assembly of Prayer Church through our law enforcement channels but the installation had no bans against the organization or any official dealings with them (despite their websites claims)."

Bowman confirmed "there were reports made to Fort Gordon law enforcement of recruiting/solicitation attempts by the church members but there were no incidents, confrontations, arrests or anything of this nature as a result," she said in another email Thursday night.

Raid near Fort Hood

The Assembly of Prayer Christian Church on Massey Street in Killeen, Texas, was also raided by the FBI on Thursday, according to the Killeen Police Department.

The church is located less than 4 miles from Fort Hood.

Killeen officers arrived to assist the FBI with traffic diversion just after 7:30 a.m., according to officials.

Ashley Demorest, a former member of the church who observed the raid, said she was a member of the church from age 15 to 23, "until I finally escaped."

Amber Fitz-Randolph, leader of The Ft. Hood Fallen Facebook page, which was started in 2017, said members of the church in Killeen have snuck into the barracks and threatened soldiers.

In a text message Thursday afternoon, Christopher Haug, chief of media relations at Fort Hood, said they are aware the FBI is investigating the church and their police are looking into it.

Demorest said she solicited soldiers on base as a member of the church.

"When I was 16 I would go with other members to [Fort Hood] and do what the church would call 'soul winning' to invite people to the church," she said.

In the Veteran's Education Success's letter to the VA and Georgia SAA in 2020, the organization cited similar solicitations.

"Soul-winning is an organized event coordinated by HOPCC’s clergy," noted the document. "Five days a week, individuals are paired up and sent out to recruit new members on or around military bases. ... Students would recruit at Post Exchanges, barracks, and on-base housing."

The document also cites specific members' experiences recruiting on bases in Georgia.

Headcanons that buttered my baguettes

-Duke has gotten thirst mail before. He's also been on one of those BuzzFeed videos where he had to read thirst tweets. His reactions are usually light-hearted and he laughs at most of them but he has gotten flustered

-Despite growing up under the rules of science, Petrona is an avid believer in the paranormal. Her belief was only strengthened when she moved to New Pepperton during adulthood, which was notorious for ghost hauntings and unexplained events

-There was even a time where she swore on her life that Iggy (her nephew) had spoken to a ghost before. This happened a long time ago when Iggy was really young and apparently he kept talking to “the tall man” which Petrona would never see, and sometimes she’d see him talking to “him” even if he was alone. However, Iggy doesn’t remember this and Professor Fitz just scoffs at her

-She also happens to be the one to tell ghost stories or urban legends to the other staff or the other “higher up” ladies during lunch. Some people really enjoy her stories, whether they believe or not, while others just tell her that she’s full of crap

-Emmlette names her chickens after her friends so she has chickens named Kayla, Quinn, Yuko, and so on

-Didar is one of those people who will hit things or clap their hands whenever they laugh super hard

-Mary made a skillshare class, one because one of her friends asked her how to paint, and two for a little extra coin

-Mary likes head pats… yeah, that’s the hc. Also Sue thinks that Mary might be a dog trapped in a person’s body.

-Taylor has a bad habit of accidentally ignoring people whenever he’s listening to music. Sometimes people will try to get his attention in public but he won’t notice them because of his music. Some of his friends have ran up to him and yanked out his earbuds because they’ve been wanting to get his attention with no luck

-No one has ever seen Timm cry… He’s a very sweet and understanding guy, and is always there to comfort his friends and tell them that it’s okay to cry when they’re upset. But when it comes to Timm, it’s either cry while he’s alone, or just don’t cry at all. He’s always had the reputation of the silly, cheerful guy, and there’s a reason why he doesn’t wanna ruin it…

-More angst? Ok sure. Boopsy’s puppet, Bill, is modeled after his son, Billy. Billy died a long time ago from an accident. It’s rumored that the reason Boopsy clings so tightly to the puppet is because he’s not over his grief yet

-Ok angst is done. Sue has 2 younger brother’s named Leon and Lukas (based on my friend’s hcs) and they were the first people she came out to. They were supportive of it and still are, and now in modern day they are in their late teens and whenever she’s with them now they’ll make her watch anime with her and ask her to rate whatever waifus they liked which annoys her because they have trash tastes/hj

-Sue used to be fandom-obsessed. Back then during middle and high school she commonly went on the internet to relieve stress, and she found the world of fandom. She especially liked it for book and movie franchises she liked like Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Warrior Cats, Ouran HighSchool Host Club, and others, though this was a very closeted side of her. She has lost interest for some, but gained others, and does sometimes get a little fangirly or nostalgic whenever she hears her peers bring up her favorite fandoms

-Some of the Fluffmart staff at the moment are queer in some way, including Sue, and they all agree the pride merch kinda sucks (but the candles are nice)

-Sometimes Fernanda and Franco will flirt with each other casually. They’re almost like a young couple in love (and they may get a little spicy every now and then, but only alone, cause that’s weird in public)

-While Sue was the floor manager of Mocharia, she was very chaotic good/neutral, and everyone knew about her short temperament, which usually wasn’t bad, just rants and sarcasm (though she’d sometimes yell at people), but there were a couple of times she almost got physical with people, usually the problem actors/crew people, and it got to a point where Petrona threaten that she either discipline herself of she’s getting a leash

-Petrona never lies. Mainly because she’s terrible at lying but also she’s just very straight-forward, so when she threatened to put Sue on a leash, she wasn’t playing (thankfully she never had to go through with it)

-Any character that has that weird little curve at the end of their mouth when they smile (like Simone or Duke) have dimples (I’m not sure exactly what that little curve is about but I always just associated it with dimples even if they don’t look like that)

-Mary likes galaxy/nebula aesthetics because they have all her favorite colors

When did you start writing Olitz? 2018, after the show ended.

Tell us about yourself! What do you want readers to know about you? I'm from the Philippines, the capital which is Manila specifically. I feel like there's not that many scandal and olitz shippers from where I'm from and I haven't interacted with a local scandal fan haha. Greys and HTGWM are very much more popular here so I guess there's that. I'm basically your regular Millenial girl - balancing work, bills, finances, shopping, the pros and cons of single life hahaha. That's it. I live a boring life!

What drew you to Olivia and Fitz? Firstly, a lot is really credited to Kerry and Tony's chemistry. They seriously have the most potent chemistry that I have ever seen when it comes to tv couples and it's very hard to forget combined with their great acting. I feel like they were really born to play Olivia and Fitz. Next would be the very raw, deeply flawed, and realistic portrayal of their epic love story but dysfunctional relationship. Olitz is a very controversial couple. I would even argue that it is Shonda's most controversial couple in Shondaland. When you go outside of the fandom, they are deeply hated to this day and people have a lot of energy (and apparently are willing to spend their time) to criticize them. But all that hatred and negativity towards them shows how very spot on their story was. There's a lot that could have been improved on but the issues that stemmed out of their relationship and their flaws I think resonated with many people which is why a lot hated them. For a ship to get so much hate even years after show ended, it goes to show that a lot really payed attention to them and were moved by their story. ps. you don't get that much attention with olake haha. that pairing appears to be only relevant when it involves fitz/olitz.  

What made you want to write about them? I was really hoping that someone would write a long-form post-canon fic about them. I really thought their ending would spark a slew of fanfic! So with its absence and after back-and-forth consultation with my writer friend, Nina, I decided to just go on and write (my very first attempt ever!) what I would want to read. Canon olitz doesn't have a good rep understandably but there's really a lot of room to unpack in it and at the same time get a deeper insight on why Liv and Fitz acted that way during the show. There's still a lot of story to tell because as cheesy as this sounds Liv and Fitz storyline as seen in scandal will never be over.  

How would you describe your writing? Angsty, problematic, realistic, raw, hopeful even when it feels not (I hope I do convey these!)

What inspires you to write / create? Olivia and Fitz characterization and their relationship in the show.

Favorite movies, shows, music?

Films - In the mood for love, Fight Club, Parasite, Clueless, Bridget Jones Diary lol. Any films really by Wong Kar Wai, Davin Fincher, and Nancy Meyer 

Shows - Sex and the City, The OC, Succession, Skins UK 1st and 2nd Gen 

Music - Too many but mainly The Strokes, Daft Punk, The XX, Phoenix, Britney, Kylie Minoque, etc.

How long does it take you to write a chapter? It really varies! The shortest was like 2 weeks-ish and the longest was like 8 or 9 months. Aside from how my life is going, it really highly depends on my mood towards the subject-Olivia and Fitz. Admittedly I'm an on-and-off shipper, sometimes I enjoy them or get in my feels and then there are times that I highly dislike and regret shipping them to the point that I wish they never got back together or argue that Fitz should have been written off the show. "Fitz back then always thought that once he has fulfilled his father’s predetermined life for him at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave that he’ll be back home to this cozy beach town. That was of course before that one fateful day on February in New Hampshire when a tornado stormed into his life that was ornamented by the California sun." (Chapter 3) 

To me, it sounds nice when you read it haha Their fight scene in chapter 10. Even before finishing chapter 1, I knew that I was going to write a big fight scene and one that is similar to 509. It's a very very important scene to me.

Fave Olitz moments? The 'I hate you. I hate you too' phone call, 'I would cross that line again', those small moments when you could see how deeply and conflicted in love Olivia was (eg. watching him and Mellie dance during the first inauguration ball) - Liv is known to be not "accepting" of their love and whether she love him or not was always questioned, but a lot her actions and expressions when you look back showed how deeply she fell in love with him.

Fave Olitz fanfic moments? I forgot the title and the author but there was this one shot back then about Olivia who decided to end her engagement to Jake because she had unresolved feelings for Fitz. This fic took place a year I think after Fitz presidency. So she went all the way to Vermont regardless if it's years since her and Fitz last encounter and how bad their relationship ended - they fought about him going to war for her I think. So yeah she went all the way to Vermont not knowing what to expect and the writer did a good job of piecing them back together.

Do you like it when readers engage with you via comments / social media? Yes.

Story Reviews: Love them, hate them? BOTH! The reviews reminds of me of the live tweets when the show was on and the energy back then so I like that aspect. I appreciate readers that are grateful to authors and those that show how curious they are with the stories. I hate the intentional and consistent badmouthing to the point of bullying and creating competition among authors which made some quit or removed their stories. The nonstop attacks by some these "guest" reviewers really says a lot about their character. My friend Nina would always say that the writers don't owe themselves to anyone and that is highly true. We do it because we want to write and we make time for it without expecting anything in return really. Don't like it, then don't read it. Read and review the story you want to read then.

What advice would you give to a new Olitz writer? Just write! Don't care if you don't have experience at all or if you're too conscious about how not perfect your grammar is. The olitz fanfic community I think has a consistently growing audience so there will always be readers. Also most importantly, write the story that you want to tell. It is your work and only you will know how to go about it. Don't focus too much on the reviews/criticisms and don't let it solely dictate you on how to write your story.

Outside of your fics, do you have any fave Olitz stories or authors? PurplePineapple, torri.oats, Only You by anonolitz, that one shot I mentioned above.

Do you talk to other Olitz authors? If so, do you like the camaraderie? I've only interacted with like 2 I think hahaha. It's a very supporting and encouraging group! I think we're just excited to read each other's stories which is a nice feeling.

Have you made friends (people you talk to outside of fanfic) because of Olitz / Scandal fanfic? Yes and we've been friends for almost three years! She knows so much of my life honestly compared to my irl friends.

Jemma sat on an exam table in the school clinic, her jumper pooled around her waist, her vest sticking to the small of her back with sweat. Either the heat was turned up too high, an aggressive attempt to make people comfortable with the Massachusetts winter battering outside, or she was nervous sweating. It was probably both.

The room was small and stark, white washed walls that rattled every time a door shut in the hallway, and nothing like the family clinic her doctor back home worked out of; here there were no cutesy pictures of babies wearing flowers as hats on the walls, although maybe that would have made her feel sicker, rather than comforted. The walls were too thin, just slightly, and she could hear the rumble of voices bleeding through the wall behind her. It was her first time in the clinic, despite a year under her belt already, she kept her yearly check-ups for trips home, because the American medical system scared her. She’d heard too many horror stories from kids in her classes about getting their stomach pumped, then getting the bill. But this time she hadn’t had much of a choice.

The panic rose again. She focused on her breathing, counting each inhale and exhale so she wouldn’t hyperventilate, and the door swung open. The doctor was tall and thin, handsome for a woman, with an expression that somehow straddled caring and stern. She sat in the chair at the desk and flipped through a file. Jemma’s file.

“So based on the bloodwork, you’re probably between four and six weeks, do you know the date of your last menstrual cycle?”

Jemma’s heart froze. Her breath caught in her lungs. Her stomach clenched with nausea. “I’m pregnant.”

The doctor looked up, “I’m sorry, the nurse said you’d taken a home test.”

Jemma nodded, it made her dizzy. “I did,” she’d taken six, they’d all had the same result. “I just, I guess I was waiting for confirmation.”

“Do you need a minute?”

She shook her head, still dizzy, getting worse too. But this was just science, she could handle science. “What’s the hCG level?” The doctor looked confused so she explained. “I’m in bio.” No use explaining that she was already through one PhD and onto her second, she didn’t have time for those questions the way her stomach was threatening.

The doctor nodded, flipped through the paper again. “HCG is 427 mili-units per millilitre, which is what we’d consider normal for anywhere in the first month or so, as I’m sure you know.”

“In a healthy pregnancy hormone levels can double over the course of 24 hours.” She couldn’t wrap her head around pregnant, she couldn’t wrap her head around how she was pregnant.

“Yes, but given your medical history, there’s no need to do a follow up test. Do you remember the date of your last period?”

“The eleventh of November.” She’d had class that morning and had almost been late because she’d had to run back into her room for a tampon.

“That would put you at just over five weeks, so your due date is mid-August.”

They’d had sex three weeks, two days, and twelve hours ago, but pregnancy was based on menstruation, not ovulation, which is why it was ten months, not nine like people thought, gestational age was fertilization age plus two weeks. Ten months, forty weeks. Five weeks from forty. Her mind turned it into a fraction, 5/40 was equivalent to 1/8 which was 0.125 or 12.5%. She was twelve point five percent through and she hadn’t even known it.

She’d been silent too long and the doctor looked at her gently, “I can schedule you an appointment with a counsellor to discuss your options.”

She shocked back to her body, to the hard table beneath her and the blast of heat coming through a vent in the ceiling and the low chatter from the waiting room that she could hardly hear. The words came spilling out of her mouth before she knew what she was saying, “I can’t get an abortion.”

They both sat startled, Jemma wasn’t even sure if she believed it. She’d never had to consider it before. She figured that wasn’t what the doctor was used to hearing, she figured most girls who came in here, accidentally pregnant, wanted to get back to their classes, back to their work. It was MIT after all. That’s what Jemma wanted too, she wanted to be thinking about her lab that afternoon and the paper she was writing on bioluminescent applications, but it didn’t seem that simple, she felt like there was a variable she was missing.

“Miss Simmons,” The doctor said very gently, softer than her face indicated she was capable of, “You’re seventeen.” She paused back on herself, like maybe she shouldn’t have said that. She blinked and started again. “You have options, and I’m sure you have a bright future ahead of you. I would highly suggest you talk with a counsellor, just to make an informed decision.”

Jemma nodded, gnawed at her lip. “I have class this afternoon, then all tomorrow.”

The doctor turned to her computer, Jemma realized she didn’t actually know her name. They sat silently while the monitor loaded. She felt exhausted, like her brain was the white static on a TV, like she’d just written a four-hour test and all her thoughts had been left on the page, like she was empty.

“How about Thursday at ten in the morning? You’ll be meeting with Dr. Sanders.”

“Yes, that works. I have all of Thursdays free.” She and Fitz usually spent the day at the library studying or working on papers or lab reports. It was quieter there during the week as opposed to the bustle of the weekend, they usually snagged a whole long table to themselves and spread out with snacks. It was their main day for bookwork. She had plans to outline her final projects that week and Fitz had two reports to write that he’d been avoiding.

Her stomach dropped out from under her, like a rollercoaster cresting over the top of a hill, sending her down for the long drop, her heart in her throat and her limbs left behind.

She had to tell Fitz.

Can you do a breakdown of everyone few episodes of season 7 like big things you think will happen

Hi Anon,

Not much has changed since I did the big breakdown when we were able to find the ‘leaked’ titles.  However, please bear in mind the only two we are 100% confident on are 1 and 13.  I’ll repost it here and add anything that might have popped into 

1. The New Deal

Aired at D23.  Cliffnotes Mack, Robo Coulson, Daisy, and Deke have to save Freddy Malick from being kill by the Chronicoms.

2. Know your Onions

Well this is one of those weird titles that makes little sense.  There is a song by The Shins  But its also a saying for being very knowledgeable about something.  So this is where we’re really going to see Robo Coulson really showing how invaluable to this.  Also might speak to the learning curve the team is facing with all the new stuff.  Also a good chance we at least get a glimpse of FItz here before he disappears for a bit.

Written By Craig Tiltey AKA the OUT OF THE BOX dude.  He’s given us great episodes like 4722 Hours, Uprising, personal fave Hot Potato Soup, Rewind, and SPACE VEGAS!

3. Alien Commies from the Future

Well the Chronicoms take over some Russians or they think they are Russian, people were pretty paranoid back then.   And I’ll put the time period they visit here anywhere between the 50′s and 80′s due to the “commies” reference.  Good chance we’ll see lots of Military here based on who is already in IMDB.   This may also be when we see Enver show up…or two…depends on where they go after saving Freddy. Also trying not to think of Killer Clowns from Outer Space here.

I throw in this could be where we could see Stoner.

Written by the Zuckermans have given us episodes Lockup, Boom, A LIfe Spent, Option Two, Code Yellow, and This Sign.  They do have a decent amount of Philinda under their belts so this could be where we see May on a mission with Robo Coulson for the first time.

4. Out of the Past

Well something from someone one the teams past is likely going to come back to haunt them here.  And it also might tie into the 1947 movie bearing the same name about a small town gas station that has his life turned upside down when figures from his past return.  So they’ll be going for someone who ‘got out” and now is being pulled back in.

This would be the first opening I see for Afterlife and those involved in it to come into play.

Written by Mark Leitner, relatively new to the writing team he did Inside Voices and Toldja.

5. A Trout in the Milk

Guys I swear my google history for this show.  Another title based on a saying.  The meaning is that although you did not see the dairy farmer do it, he most probably dipped the milk pail in the stream to water down the product. It’s not direct evidence but a very strong circumstantial case.It is attributed as follows: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk. ‘ (Henry David Thoreau)  

So the team will have strong evidence on something but can’t be 100% on it.  This could speak to who they feel the Chronicoms are after, if there is a traitor in their midst (its an annual tradition after all), or this could be where something could be wrong with Fitz and Jemma is starting to worry more/pick up on it.

Written by Iden Baghadadchi also relatively new she’s done Rise and Shine aka Hale’s Back story and squee inducing we are invincible and Collision Course Part II.

6. Adapt or Die

Raise your hand if this SCREAMS when we are gonna see Ward/Hydra again!   Because he said that a few times when he was discussing why he followed Hydra.  I just have no idea WHAT Ward we are dealing with…preturn Ward, Hydra Head Ward, Squidward (yay I got to use it again).  

If not Ward someone has to adjust to the new situation and fast in order to survive.  This could speak to someone being captured, gone under cover, or something out of left Field.  Knowing who the writer is…could me buckle up for some Fitzsimmons feels people.

If it is heavy Fitzsimmons, this could be the where we learn more about “we had time” and possibly the Secret Child Theory gets some legs.  Adapt or Die could also speak to Fitzsimmons having to drastically change their lives in order to survive and move forward saving the others and the world.  

Written by DJ Doyle…and a favorite with Fitzsimmons fans as he has given us some of the most iconic Fitzsimmons moments.  Past credits include The Things We Bury, Melinda, Purpose in the Machine, Many Heads on Tale, The Team,  Deals with Our Devils, INESCAPABLE!!!!!Also worth pointing out the sixth episode of each season has a history of being big FItzsimmons Episodes.

7. The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and the D

OMG are we getting a Bill and Ted esque Mack and Deke Team up. EEEEEEEEE!!!!!  I do believe this is where we are going to get “The closest thing to a Musical Episode the show will ever do” and Deke in the Red Leather pants Chloe talked about.  

Bring on the 80′s/90′s nostalgia folks.  I don’t even care what is happening this one is gonna be awesome.  Also considering the writer we need to be on the lookout for a FItznapping….this is the dude who has written most of them.

Written by Brent Fletcher who has done some major major episodes.  The Dirty Half Dozen, Closure, Broken Promises, Farewell Cruel World (IE thank goodness we are FINALLY out of the Framework), FUN & GAMES, Space Vegas, and New Life.  

8. After Before

I wanna lean flashback here and this could be another option where we get some answers from Jemma as to what happened during “we had time” and the fallout from that.  It could also speak to a comparison or a change in someone, a play on a “Before and After” King of Reveal.  Once again the writers lean towards something happening on the FItzsimmons front as they are the other resident Married couple with Jed/Mo on the writing team.

Also worth noting this is the first episode that Enver is in IMDB in so they’ll need to go back in time to meet up with him and I think they’ll find him at a point well after Agent Carter had ended.  Meaning there could be some critical early days of Shield backstory here as well.

Written by James and Sharla Oliver they’ve done Paradise Lost, The Patriot, The Honeymoon.

9. As I have Always Been

Episode LIL Directed…YAY!  

Clark said this was one of his favorites of the season.

Lil directing means Jemma will be light in both it and 8.

This screams something to do with Enoch to me (like i hear him saying it when i read it), its pretty much what he said to Fitz before he gassed him.  In the trailer we see Enoch seemingly getting left behind as the the Zephyr Jumps away, stranding him in time.  It also means if we lose sight of him for a bit we might need to be concerned about him getting co opted by the evil Chronicoms and used against the team.  It should also be said that Enoch was on the planet for centuries, it could be only a matter of time before they come across his past self.

I feel this could also speak to Robo Coulson doing some soul searching about who he is now and coming to terms with the whole LMD thing.

Written by Drew Greenberg, another one of the long time heavy hitters.  Dirty Half Dozen, Who you Really Are, Absolution, Wake Up, All the Comforts of Home, and Leap.

10. Stolen

Well this screams someone getting kidnapped and/or having their memories messed with.  It could also speak to an item stolen or stolen time.  This is the point where we really could see Fitz coming back into the mix more.  This is also the point in the Season where everything typically starts to go to poop and the team suffers a major loss.

Targets for kidnapping for me are Robo Coulson as he’s what Shield has been using to keep ahead of the Chronicoms.  Fitz because well it’s Fitz and he’s in hiding for a reason.  Enoch to be used against the team.  

Also worth noting this is the last episode that Enver is listed in IMDB for.

Written by Mark Leitner who is completely new to the writing team.  However vet George Kitson (yes the one they named Kitson after) did the screenplay.

11. Brand New Day

So I think that just like in Season 6, Episode 10′s Stolen is going to be a real kick in the teeth to the team.  In Leap they lost Davis, Piper shot her had, Sarge’s true self really got released, Izel escaped with the “monoliths”, and Mack and Elena were kidnapped.  Out of the Ashes was the team picking themselves back up and starting to fight back.  

Brand New Day also represents new beginnings and a fresh start.  So after suffering a major loss in 10, they are gong to pick themselves up, regroup, and fight back.  But this all but confirms someone is getting kidnapped in 10 for me….looking at Robo Coulson and Fitz still.  

Written by Christopher Fryer he’s another new writer but based on IMDB has been on the production team for a bit.

12.  The End is at Hand

Yeah that is not ominous at all.  And just like The Sign this season hold onto your hats because its going to be a major run up to the end.  I’m fully expecting a two hour series finale event.  

The Chronicoms and if a new baddie is in the mix will have their plan in full motion (I fell like the we need to save this point in history kind of thing will be abandoned in favor of something bigger and scarier), the team will be scattered, some could be prisoners, and my stress level will be through the roof.  

Expect it to end on an insane note just as The Sign did (with May being killed).

Written by Jeff Bell.  As doom and gloom and generally no fun he can be in interviews he has given us some amazing/huge episodes and his last one shouldn’t be any exception.  It may be worth nothing he has a knack for putting Fitz/Fitzsimmons in danger.  Previous credits include 084, Ragtag, What They Become, SOS 1, Maveth, Good Samaritan, World’s End, Real Deal, and Collision Course Part 1.  

13.  WHAT WE’RE FIGHTING FOR

Pause for screaming with @eclecticmuses because this THIS is what we wanted from that first tease!

It’s the PERFECT title for a final episode and all cards are going to be on the table here.  I feel like not only will the team be fighting to save the world as usual but every single one of them is going to have a more personal stake in the game.   

They are literally going to be fighting for THEIR futures as well.   Perhaps even their Past, Presents, and Futures depending on horrible plan they are trying to stop.

There is only one I am willing to theorize on right now because I don’t know what character arcs are coming and how things could change over the season for a lot of the characters.  FItzsimmons. They are going to be fighting for their future, their family, their happily ever after.  Come on Secret Kid Theory!

This is going to be action packed, major fight scenes, emotional as all get out as 7 seasons come to a close.  Their will be wins, their will be losses.  Mack is going to give an epic speech before he falls (sorry still don’t think he makes it) and Daisy will rally the team after he does.

Hiya Gal - How did Fitz find out about Beth and Rio? This makes me think he knows more intimate details because he’s the one that’s been like “you either need to get control of her or put her six feet under” to Rio cuz he’s top dawg. What do you think ?! I like to think Rio’s boss is the kind of dude that has a good vlog on YT when he’s now t running a crime empire. Fitz fits this bill for me.

Well the obvious answer is that he used his psychic skills (as we all know gg is a fantasy show, set in a realm where time moves differently) but tbh, I think he knows because Beth told him?

Mr hit man clearly enjoys dramatics, and I'm not convinced he actually meant for the original date he put in place to go ahead?

He keeps moving the dates, and I think he'd want Beth to pay in full before he went ahead? (like yea he threatened her about it, but still... Why take on the job if you don't believe peeps can pay?) And he gets to keep charging her for incidentals the longer it goes on ahaha.

And even without the crime of passion angle, Beth seemed pretty clueless/reticent in their diner scene last ep, so I doubt he would've just gone and done it. I think the way he threw the date and other deets at her then were also kinda a 'test'.

I think he suspected Beth and Rio's history based off of Beth's vibe and body language and maybe got more of a concrete sense of it from following rio around?

And then he threw it out there, and Beth confirmed it!

Hunter was quiet when he came into the house, slumped over as he fell onto the couch, face first. Jemma looked up from her laptop and exchanged a look with Bobbi.

“What’s wrong, love?” Jemma asked.

“Today fucking sucks,” he said into the couch cushion.

“Why?”

“Job hunting is the fucking worst.”

The tie he’d put on that morning was pressing into his throat, and he almost couldn’t breathe around it. It was fine.

“I’m sorry, Hunter,” Jemma said.  

“I just want to have a job already.”

“I mean, we have the bills covered if you need some more time.”

He shook his head.

“Baby,” Bobbi said, walking over from her desk and sinking onto the cushion beside him. She stroked over the bank of his head, her nails scratching at his scalp just the way he liked. There was a benefit to being with someone who knew him so well. With Bobbi, he didn’t have to say what he wanted, or what he liked. She just knew. Fitz and Simmons were learning them, as they were learning Fitz and Simmons. It was exciting with Fitz and Simmons, something new. He loved them, loved feeling their skin under his hands, hearing them moan and call out his name, feel their kisses across his body. He was learning that Fitz had this tendency to wait for an invitation to join their play, and that Jemma had ideas that she still wasn’t comfortable voicing out loud but would whisper them into Fitz’s ear to offer. “I know you want to feel useful, but if you need to take some time, figure out what you want to do instead, you can. You are useful to us. You clean the house, and cook us dinner, and the orgasms you give are the best of my goddamn life.”

He laughed, but it was quiet and humorless.

“It’s true,” Jemma said, but she seemed distracted. “Do you hear that?”

Just then, the front door opened with a bang against the wall, and Fitz’s voice shouting in a language he didn’t understand. They all turned towards the noise.  

He threw his briefcase into the corner and kicked off his shoes. Hunter had never seen Fitz so angry, and he could see Jemma’s spine straighten at his tone.  

“What language is that?” he asked Bobbi.

“Gaelic,” Simmons answered instead. “His dad taught it to him when he was growing up, before Alistair left. His mum doesn’t speak it.”

Hunter looked up at Fitz, the hard line of his mouth, the cold angry in his eyes.  

“Then,” he said, but didn’t need to finish it because they were all on the same page. He went to stand, but Jemma caught his wrist and shook her head.

“Don’t. He’s not fun to talk to when he’s angry.”

He sat back down and she leaned in to kiss him softly.  

“We’ll deal with him in a moment, but how are you? Are you better?”

“I want to take care of you guys,” he said, nuzzling the underside of her jaw. “I don’t like feeling useless.”

“Bobbi is right, though, Hunter. You do so much for us. We don’t need you to be the breadwinner or whatever if you’re here to take care of us.”

She trailed kisses over his jaw, and curled her hand around the nape of his neck.  

Jemma was a quick learner, watching Bobbi, watching Hunter, learning their ticks based on how they responded to her, to each other.  

“I don’t need you to be a bigshot corporate whatever, you know,” she said. “I love you here with us being you.”

“Thanks, Jem,” he murmured.  

Fitz in the background snapped something that sounded harsh, and Hunter could see Bobbi watching him intently. She was better than the rest of them at languages, but he wasn’t sure Gaelic was ever one that she learned.  

She might after this.

“If I ever meet Alistair Fitz, I’m going to throttle him with my bare hands.”

“I understand,” Jemma agreed. “I certainly understand. The first time I saw Fitz flinch when someone went for a high five, I was ready to find him and throw him into the Thames.”

There was a moment of quiet, and then Fitz’s voice, low, in English, said, “I never asked for you to come back. You’re the one who decided you wanted to reconnect. If you don’t like me for who I am, you are free to leave the way you always do.”

And then, he hung up, calmly set his phone down on the table by the entryway, and let out a long, slow, deliberate breath.

“The next time I have the bright idea to answer the phone when my father calls, just kick me in the shin. It’ll end the same way,” he said.

“Since when does your father have your number?” Jemma asked. Fitz froze, and his eyes found Jemma’s. “Leopold.”

There was a wrinkle to his nose but he didn’t reply.

“Fitz,” Hunter said. “Have you been talking to your father?”

Fitz looked at Hunter, the only person in the room who knew what having a garbage father was like.  

“I was afraid to tell you.”

“How long have you been talking?”

“Not, not long. This time. He pops in and out, has since I was 18.”

“Fitz!” Simmons said. “You said you haven’t heard from your father since he left.”

“You talk to my mum too much for me to tell you. She’d be so angry if she knew, but he says he’s changed every time, and I don’t want to be the asshole who doesn’t give someone a second chance.”

“He only deserves so many, though,” Hunter said. “If he keeps hurting you, you can’t keep letting him in. Block his number. You don’t deserve this, Leo.”

This time when he stood, Jemma didn’t stop him. He crossed the room and caught Leo’s face in his hands.

“I have been here; you know I have. Dad wants another chance, but he’s always just looking for something. Money, a bail out, booze. Whatever. You told me the last time he called to block his number, and you were right. Now, you need to listen to me now. You need to block his number, because Alistair Fitz does not deserve you. He doesn’t deserve your time, or your sympathy, or your second chances. He’s never deserved you, and he should rot in every hell for what he’s put you through.”

He kissed Fitz’s forehead, and then the space between his eyebrows, the bridge of his nose, the tip of it, his lips.

“Let him walk out,” he said softly, “let him walk away and regret ever leaving you behind, because you are smart, and sweet, and kind, and so unbelievably perfect.”

Fitz smiled, the anger gone from his expression entirely.

“You’re right.”

“I know. I always am.”

This is like, my 4 time editing this?! With all this new stuff coming out this year, I had to fix this! (Plus some info my new followers should read!)

Let's start with personality:

The most beautiful mountains in the world have captivated climbers for centuries. Here, we examine their lethal appeal.

“You are not in the mountains. The mountains are in you,” said John Muir, the renowned naturalist, author and environmental philosopher.

If our resident seven-summit hopeful is an apt barometer, Muir makes a valid point. Those who spend time in the mountains seem to be driven by a deeper force. These brave men and women will face vertiginous vertical falls, sub-zero temperatures and 8,000m death zones in pursuit of their summit dreams. It’s in ode to them that we present this list.

1. Cuernos del Paine

Height: 2,600m (8,530ft) Location: Andes, Chile

Los Cuernos del Paine or ‘Paine horns’ refer to a set of sharp granite peaks in Torres del Paine National Park, all of which rise above 2,000m.

The spiky peaks have delightfully fitting names – among them Aleta de Tiburón (Shark’s Fin), La Espada (The Sword) and La Hoja (The Blade) – and are located halfway along the W trek, one of the best hiking trails in Torres del Paine.

2. Mount Thor

Height: 1,675m (5,495ft) Location: Baffin Mountains, Canada

The hulking Mount Thor is simply extraordinarily. Located on Canada’s remote Baffin Island, Thor is home to the world’s greatest vertical drop. It would take a terrifying 36 seconds for a 170lb (77kg) person to fall the 1,250m from the cliff face below the summit all the way to the floor.

3. Alpamayo

Height: 5,947m (19,511ft) Location: Cordillera Blanca, Peru

Often referred to as the most beautiful mountain in the world, Alpamayo lies in the heart of Peru’s Cordillera Blanca. With a steep pyramidal shape and Viennetta flutes that look practically edible, Alpamayo remains a highly coveted summit.

4. Matterhorn

Height: 4,478m (14,694ft) Location: Pennine Alps, Italy and Switzerland

The Matterhorn is clearly one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Often credited with the birth of Alpinism in the mid-19th century, the iconic pyramidal peak is successfully summited by thousands of climbers every year with up to 150 attempting an ascent every day during peak season.

5. Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Situated in the heart of Everest’s Khumbu Region, it looms directly above Thyangboche Monastery on the Everest Base Camp Trek.

Ama Dablam is so picturesque, Google used it as the background of an early version of Gmail while Apple used it as a wallpaper in iOS 7 – high praise in modern times.

6. Half Dome

Height: 2,694m (8,838ft) Location: Sierra Nevada, California, USA

Half Dome in Yosemite National Park is one of the world’s best big wall climbs. The first technical ascent was in 1957 via a route known today as the Regular Northwest Face. The ascent – which took five days – was the first Grade VI climb in the US.

Today, the route has been free-soloed in a mere few hours. The fastest ascent was completed in 1hr 22m by Alex Honnold in May 2012.

7. Ulvetanna Peak

Height: 2,930m (9,612ft) Location: Queen Maud Land, Antarctica

Ulvetanna is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Tolkienesque in appearance, it rises crown-like above a landscape of white.

Ulvetanna, which means ‘the wolf’s tooth’ in Norwegian, was first climbed in 1994. Its north-east ridge was conquered almost two decades later by British climber Leo Houlding and his team.

8. Mount Asgard

Height: 2,015m (6,610ft) Location: Baffin Mountains, Canada

The twin peaks of Mt Asgard seem to have emerged from a fictional realm. Fittingly, they have been used for several fantastical feats. In 1976, stuntman Rick Sylvester skied off the mountain with a Union Jack parachute for the opening sequence of the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.

In 2009, Leo Houlding and his team made a bid for the first free ascent of the north face, a story told in award-winning film The Asgard Project. Houlding later BASE jumped off the summit – an illegal feat for which he was fined.

9. Laila Peak

Height: 6,096m (20,000ft) Location: Karakoram, Pakistan

Laila Peak with its needlepoint summit vies with Ama Dablam for the title of the most beautiful mountain in the Himalayas. The first ascent (made without permits and therefore unofficial) was by a four-man British team including Simon Yates who climbed the peak in 1987. It was Yates’ first big climb since the dramatic events on Siula Grande depicted in Joe Simpson’s Touching the Void.

10. Ketil

Height: 2,010m (6,594ft) Location: Kujalleq, Greenland

The vast west face of Ketil is another of the world’s biggest near-vertical walls. Located near the southern tip of Greenland, the peak is becoming increasingly popular among the world’s big wall climbers.

Ketil rises above the valley of Klosterdalen which, on the face of it, seems idyllic but is actually a mixture of boot-sucking marshland and thick birch woodland – though climbers are likely to have other worries while bivvying on the wall.

11. Huayna Picchu

Height: 2,693m (8,835ft) Location: Andes, Peru

The iconic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu wouldn’t be half as beautiful without Huayna Picchu looming above it. For many trekkers, climbing this picturesque peak is the highlight of their visit. The views of the citadel – one of the seven Wonders of the World – are extraordinary from the summit and well worth the extra effort.

12. Denali

Height: 6,190m (20,308ft) Location: Alaska Range, Alaska, USA

Denali in Alaska is arguably the most difficult mountain of the seven summits after Everest. It is particularly tough as climbers need to carry heavy loads or pull them on sledges. The notoriously stormy and unpredictable weather on the mountain only makes matters worse.

Denali’s stunning aspect makes it just a little bit easier to understand why it unfailingly attracts climbers to its slopes.

13. Cerro Torre

Height: 3,128m (10,262ft) Location: Andes, Chile/Argentina (disputed)

Cerro Torre is a sheer and sharp pinnacle jutting vertically from the Patagonian Ice Field, fortified with a perilous layer of rime ice and buffeting winds. It is both undeniably beautiful and deeply lethal.

In 1959, Italian climber Cesare Maestri claimed he had successfully climbed the mountain. However, his partner Toni Egger had fallen to his death along with the camera that proved their ascent successful. When every subsequent expedition to Cerro Torre in the following years failed – bringing further death – doubts about Maestri’s summit emerged. He, however, has doggedly maintained his version of events.

14. Machapuchare

Height: 6,993m (22,942ft) Location: Himalayas, Nepal

Majestic Machapuchare is a sacred peak in the Hindu religion, associated with the god Shiva. In 1957, British climber Wilfrid Noyce set out to climb the mountain, but the king of Nepal asked him to respect Hindu religious customs and not set foot on the summit. Noyce and his climbing companion, A.D.M. Cox, turned back 45m (148ft) short of the summit.

It’s said that no human has ever set foot on it, but it seems to be an open secret that New Zealand climber Bill Denz did so illegally in the early 1980s. Denz was killed in an avalanche on Manaslu in 1983 and the truth died with him.

15. Tre Cime di Lavaredo

Height: 2,999m (9,839ft) Location: Dolomites, Italy

The distinctive peaks known as the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks of Lavaredo) depict Italy’s Dolomites at their iconic best.

The peaks made the news in 2018 when the BBC erroneously used them in a documentary about yak herders in the Himalayas. A viewer spotted the error and informed the broadcaster who apologised and later edited out the footage.

16. Polar Sun Spire

Height: 1,438m (4,717ft) Location: Baffin Island, Canada

The Polar Sun Spire is notable for its stunning 1,300m north face. The team behind the first ascent spent a full month on the mountain and summited after 36 consecutive nights in a portaledge.

The peak has been called ‘the mother of all headwalls’ and reputedly features an even larger uninterrupted cliff face than Mt Thor though this has not been officially confirmed.

17. Fitz Roy

Height: 3,405m (11,171ft) Location: Andes, Argentina and Chile

The Fitz Roy range with its imposing peaks and shark-tooth summits has beguiled some of the best climbers in the world.

In 2014, Tommy Caldwell (of The Dawn Wall fame) and Alex Honnold (of Free Solo fame) completed the first ascent of the ‘Fitz Traverse’, climbing across the ridge-line of Cerro Fitz Roy and its satellite peaks. The route is 5km long and includes around 4,000m of vertical elevation.

18. Huangshan

Height: 1,864m (6,115ft) Location: Huangshan, China

The Huangshan mountain range in southern Anhui province is one of the most iconic images of China. The towering granite peaks shrouded in wisps of mist are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s most popular tourist destinations.

The range has inspired scores of poets, painters and filmmakers, among them James Cameron who took inspiration from Huangshan in designing the fictional shangri-la of Pandora in his blockbuster film Avatar.

19. Mount Roraima

Height: 2,810m (9,219ft) Location: Guiana Highlands, Venezuela

Fair Use Roraima serves as a tripoint for Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela

Another mountain immortalised in film, Roraima is said to have inspired scenes in Pixar’s Up. This hulking slab has a summit of 31km2 and serves as a tripoint for Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela.

Unexplored until 1884, Roraima has occupied botanists ever since with its diverse range of flora. Needless to say, it is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.

20. Mount Fuji

Height: 3,776m (12,388ft) Location: Honshu Island, Japan

According to the Japanese proverb, ‘he who climbs Mount Fuji once is a wise man, he who climbs it twice is a fool’. This is not without merit for the climb itself offers little of Fuji’s beauty as seen from afar. On the mountain itself, one will find a barren landscape trod by 300,000 people a year.

From a distance, however, Fuji maintains an arresting equanimity that secures its place on this list of the most beautiful mountains in the world.

21. Mount Assiniboine

Height: 3,618m (11,870ft) Location: Canadian Rockies, Canada

Mount Assiniboine is a pyramidal peak, often referred to as Canada’s Matterhorn. Located on the Great Divide on the British Columbia-Alberta border, the mountain was named in 1885 by Canadian Surveyor George M. Dawson. On spotting the mountain, Dawson saw a trail of clouds rising from the top, which reminded him of the plumes of smoke emanating from the teepees of Assiniboine Indians.

22. Mount Kilimanjaro

Height: 5,895m (19,340ft) Location: Eastern Rift mountains, Tanzania

Kilimanjaro is the world’s highest freestanding mountain, meaning it is not attached to a mountain range. The ‘Roof of Africa’ boasts myriad landscapes and climatic zones, each with its own distinct flora and fauna.

Ascents begin in dense rainforest, followed by a more scrubland setting with low brush. At around 4,000m, this gives way to a rocky, almost lunar-like landscape before finally, on summit day, a fine glacial scree.

23. Mount Whitney

Height: 4,421m (14,504ft) Location: Sierra Nevada, California, USA

Mount Whitney is the highest summit in the contiguous United States (i.e. excluding Hawaii and Alaska). It looks intimidating on first view but the popular Mount Whitney Trail starts at an elevation of 2,550m, meaning the summit can be reached in a day or two.

24. Stetind

Height: 1,392m (4,566ft) Location: Nordland, Norway

In 2002, Stetind was unofficially selected as Norway’s national mountain. Author and mountaineer Peter Wessel Zappfe described its smooth, steep shape as “an anvil whereupon the Gods can hammer”.

Meanwhile, British mountaineer William C. Slingsby called it the ugliest mountain he ever saw – but we beg to differ. Slingsby failed to achieve the summit which may explain his gloomy view.

25. Aiguille du Dru

Height: 3,754m (12,316ft) Location: The Alps, France

Aiguilles du Dru in the Mont Blanc mountain range is striking for its jutting peak, aptly name ‘aiguille’ which translates as ‘needle’. The peak of granite rock stands at 3,754m and is coupled with a lower peak at 3,733m: Petit Dru which offers one of the world’s most stunning big wall climbs.

26. Trango Towers

Height: 6,286m (20,623ft) Location: Karakoram, Pakistan

The Trango Towers in northern Pakistan offer some of the world’s most difficult big wall climbing due to a combination of altitude, height and steepness. Here you’ll find some of the most colossal cliffs on Earth. In fact, the east face of Great Trango Tower is the world’s greatest ‘nearly vertical’ drop at 1,340m.

27. Tsaranoro Be

Height: 1,910m (6,266ft) Location: Tsaranoro, Madagascar

Madagascar may be famous for its wildlife, but it has more to offer than lemurs. Dubbed Africa’s Yosemite, the Tsaranoro Massif features orange-streaked granite walls that have drawn climbers since the late 90s. The majority of the walls can be tackled in a day, but the Tough Enough route is considered one of the hardest multi-pitch routes in the world.

28. Uluru

Height: 863m (2,831ft) Location: Northern Territory, Australia

Atlas & Boots Uluru in the red centre of Australia is worth the epic trip

The huge rock formation in central Australia is actually an inselberg, which literally means ‘island mountain’ and refers to isolated rock hills, ridges or small mountains that rise abruptly from more level surroundings.

From 1873, this particular inselberg was widely known as Ayers Rock, a name coined by European explorer William Gosse. However, the local Aboriginal people had called it Uluru for centuries. In 1993, a dual naming policy was adopted and it was renamed Ayers Rock/Uluru, before being changed in 2002 to Uluru/Ayers Rock.

29. Eiger

Height: 3,970m (13,024ft) Location: Bernese Alps, Switzerland

The arresting Eiger is deceptive in its beauty. As well as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, it is also one of the most dangerous. It’s north face is possibly the most notorious in history. The combination of extreme weather, risk of avalanche, rock fall, technical climbing and freezing temperatures inspired the nickname Mordwand (‘Murder Wall’ in German). In recent years, the Eiger’s menacing reputation has somewhat dissipated, but the legend of the Mordwand endures.

30. Table Mountain

Height: 1,085m (3,559ft) Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Table Mountain is said to be one of the oldest in the world. Its formation began circa 280 million years ago and some of its rocks date back 600 million years (long before the Himalayas).

Standing at 1,085m, it’s not the mountain’s height but its breadth that’s most impressive. The stark, scarred northern face hulks across the skyline, topped by a vast plateau that stretches for three kilometres.

Some Thoughts on “The Devil Complex”

All right.

That episode was not what I expected, and I suppose in a way that’s good. As much as I love fluff and I want to know my favorite scientists are going to be okay, I also know AoS can’t entirely be about FitzSimmons. There are other characters out there after all and other parts of the story to tell. I’ve said it before: this is an ensemble cast which means ensemble storytelling. No one gets to take precedence, as frustrating as we may find it.

Also, I must admit that I may have gone into watching this episode with a much different mindset than other people. Watching the next day means I got to ask if I should be upset last night. Going in with that in the back of my brain let me take a step back which means less of a knee-jerk reaction to some really upsetting shit.

Here be spoilers. Bail now if you’d like.

That was an awful representation of mental health, but that’s Hollywood. As someone who works with young people who are often facing serious mental health issues, it bothers me that movies and TV don’t bother to be more accurate; however, that’s not their job. They’re here to tell stories and to give us an escape from reality, which the episode did accomplish. Or at least it did for me.

There were hints of this during the season if you look back. The first one to jump out at me comes from “Rewind,” when Fitz suggested he had a mental break and killed Jemma and the rest of the team instead of them being taken. On first viewing it seems like it’s just a throwaway line, something he’d say to get Hale and the rest off his back, but looking back it’s clearly more significant than that.

He’s just escaped from the Framework, a traumatic enough experience for someone with a clean bill of health, but that’s not Leopold Fitz. He’s suffered hypoxia and a dozen other traumatic experiences all without receiving mental health care (at least from what we’ve seen on screen). And then instead of being treated or processing the Framework, he’s thrown into yet another adventure to get the team back. He’s been going non-stop (without sleep which is another factor that’ll aid in the decline of someone’s mental state) and he hit a breaking point. Again, not good science or a good representation of mental health but it does fit Hollywood standards.

That operation scene with Daisy was wrong on so many levels. Consent being my biggest issue with it all. As I sat and watched all I could think was, “Man, this shit could have been resolved with better communication skills. Like, ‘Gee, Daisy, could we please see about getting the inhibitor out of your head? We need this gravitonium to work this way with your powers so we can stop the base from going to shit. Please?’”

I think that’s going to be the reason Daisy and Jemma struggle to forgive Fitz. Not because he wanted Daisy to use her powers, but because he didn’t give her a choice. That’s not the Fitz we know and it makes you wonder how many other things he’s done as a result of “hearing” The Doctor. His wedding vows come to mind.

I imagine some people may be disappointed by him not having something as romantic to say as Jemma did, but remember how charmed by it we were two weeks ago. Also remember that even him saying he doesn’t deserve Jemma has its own sweetness: he likely had The Doctor telling him that the entire time he was alone in his cell. But he still went to rescue Jemma and the others. He still proposed and accepted her proposal. He married her because he wanted her, even with his own inner demons telling him he didn’t deserve that kind of happiness. Maybe I’m off here, but I think that’s plenty romantic in its own way.

I thought Jemma was pregnant by the end of The Real Deal.

C’mon, are you really going to tell me I’m the only one that thought that as soon as she said she was ready to start their next adventure of having a family? Even when it was revealed right after that their freaking grandson was in attendance at their wedding? That was pretty much a giant, flashing sign that Jemma was with child (hello paradox of likely conceiving your daughter at a point in the timeline when she’d already died, but that’s a post for another day). Her throwing up at the end of the episode pretty much confirmed it for me (along with the packets of crisps!), although I will say it’s possible that she just threw up from the stress of the situation.

Deke is here. He’s been confirmed to have both Jemma’s and Fitz’ DNA and the timeline works if you look at it. Our favorite scientists are 30 and Deke is roughly the same age (Jeff Ward is 31 for those of you playing at home). That would mean having a child at 31 and raising her on base would set things up nicely (or not so nicely depending on your view) for her to meet a man her age at the Lighthouse and have a son with him before the Kree manage to feed everyone “sterilization pellets.” And all within the 74-year timeline, too.

That means that they’re still heading toward the future they saw at the moment, complete with the destruction of the human race. But an optimist like Jemma and believe they can still have their happy ending, even while saving humanity from a future of being enslaved by the Kree. They’ll find a way to band together and bring everything back to a happier place. Even if that happier place means we’ll have to suffer through watching Deke “disappear” when they create the better future since his mom won’t be as likely to meet his father then.

In fact, I would say that is definitely going to happen this season. Bonus points if Deke makes the decision to sacrifice himself the way he though he was back in his time. Bonus bonus points if someone points out how much like his grandfather he is during or after the fact.

Bottom line, I get why people were upset and disappointed. I would have been, too, if I’d gone in unspoiled. However, these writers have never let me down before (we’ve made it through the bottom of the ocean, Hydra, space boyfriend, Hydra again, a bizarre mashup of magic and physics, and oh yeah more Hydra) and I’m willing to stick it out with them some more. I’m going to trust the process and let it ride from there.

Ok, here are some of my first impressions of you, NYC:

It is said of you that you are the entire world into one city. Could it be real? You have a platter full of food options! As you are being the hub of internationals and a known place for storied history, you satisfy anyone’s taste bud, I can’t make up my mind. How can I decide between a casual French bistro (Bagatelle, 1 Little West 12th St.), delicious house-made Italian pasta (La Sirena, 88 9th Ave.), Exotic Moroccan (Cafe Mogador, 101 Saint Marks Pl #1), spicy Korean (Kori Tribeca, 253 Church St.), fun cocktails and Mexican food (La Palapa, 77 St Marks Pl.), Barcelona-style tapas (Toro, 85 10th Ave.), German’s pretzels and beer (The Standard Biergarten, 848 Washington St. just outside of the Standard High Line Hotel and I’ll tell more later), Green Juice (Yep that’s also food trust me!) and far more as if I was in the mood for a health conscious Californian style (not just green juice) there is Dime (49 Canal St.). And let’s not omit American sandwiches (Tiny’s & the Bar Upstairs, 135 W Broadway), and comfort food made of shakes, fries and burgers (Bill’s Bar & Burgers, 16 W 51st St.). There is also the Michelin starred Chef Gunter Seeger at Gunter Seerger NY (641 Hudson St.) and for the gluten free folks there is Friedman’s Lunch (75 9th Ave. at the Chelsea Market which I’ll speak more about in this post). Alas, due to my devoted ramen international tour mission, my friend and I set our minds towards Ippudo Ramen (65 Fourth Ave.) as soon as we set our feet on you.

Shook off the night away at Le Bain (848 Washington St.), the penthouse club and roof top bar with an outstanding sweeping city and river view located at the Standard High Line hotel. You blew us away! The vibe was electric between the sparkly giant disco ball, the Afro kinetics music, the sweaty dance moves, with the sticky cranberry vodka on my hand. I’ll remember this moment for a while 🙂 Not to mention our pre-game with gin-based drinks at this speakeasy bar Bathtub Gin that is disguised with a front panel as a regular coffee shop. How dare you tricked us!! Fortunately a friendly local had mercy and pointed the place out to us. Piouf don’t you know I have the fear of missing out syndromes!!

The Maritime Hotel (363 W 16th St.) is one of your best places to spend the night in my opinion; friendly, quirky (how I personally like it) and cozy. Located right in the center of the Meatpacking District. This 24-hour neighborhood is found on the far west side of Manhattan and is bordered by Chelsea to the north and the West Village towards downtown. It’s a formidable plant for fashion and graphic designers, architects, artists, restaurateurs, stylists and even corporate headquarters. I enjoyed staying at this hotel in that unique style, it has a nautical-themed landmark with the signature view porthole windows and how I love the white and blue tiles at the restaurant bar and the outdoor terraces seemed just perfect for spring time. In the morning a modest continental breakfast was served at the hotel restaurant so I grabbed myself a quick bite of the bagel with some flavorful orange spread, a mini pain au chocolat, a hard boiled egg, a cup of black coffee and a fresh squeeze glass of OJ. I love the serene atmosphere there with plenty of sun rays through the large windows illuminating the brass surfaced pending lamps.

You are so walkable in lower Manhattan and it was a great way to see your beauty (your wall graffitis, your modern architectures, your red bricked walls, your apartment stair cases, your lively people, and your multi-culture). But if I didn’t care for strolling around in the cold, then there was the world known yellow cab which was very affordable too! Besides the hotel’s cool white-tiled exterior, I can find within a short walking distance anything ranging from roof top night clubs around the corner, espresso bars, bakeries, as well as street food stands (one in the front of the hotel), yummy late night pizzas (Brunetti Pizza, 626 Hudson St.) (especially required after too much drinks at 4 am), and have I already mentioned great restaurants and bars?!

The Chelsea Market (75 9th Ave.) to me is where anything can happen and is only a block away from the hotel. You are spontaneous like that! If I ever get too lazy to walk out there into town and/or there is a snow storm alert coming, this covered venue is very special! One is expected to find anything ranging from espresso bar, pastries and freshly baked bread. A crave for fresh oysters there is The Lobster Place!! There, it’s a retail fish market with omakase sushi bar but also a raw bar where people can order and eat at the counter nearby the living seashells. There is even a German wurst place!! There are plenty of cool shops for gifts giving. I love this market!

Sight seeing to me is so boring but we strolled around town and set our sight towards The Flatiron Building then marched towards the Empire State Building. I got remotely distracted by the Museum of Sex and ought to call out Grant on this! Our last Vegas trip during thanksgiving holiday failed on us in finding adult shows for some sort of sex Ed haha I’ll skip the details there 😉 but anyone can read this post here! The Empire State Building was incredibly crowded (uncool!!) so we evidently ditched the queue and headed out towards the world known Times Square. Bright lights, giant billboards and honking everywhere! It was to say the least chaotic. Gotta get away now! Who really hangs out in Times Square aside from catching a Broadway show or… yeah tourists!!

  If anyone needed a breath of fresh air when the concrete walk way and the stinging sound of sirens and honking felt suffocating and exhausting, there is fun and relaxation in strolling in your parks. Aside from the obvious green area of Central Park, I loved the Brooklyn Bridge Park where my friend and I got to have a humble picnic; with the magical view over Manhattan in the dark contrast of what you do best which is to gleam lights and inspire us with your beauty. We hopped on a yellow cab and asked to go to Pier 11. I had the idea of getting on a ferry to have a good gaze at the scintillant Brooklyn Bridge by the night. My friend and I cheered with red wine in plastic cups (lack of sophistication here, not me!) set ourselves up on a butt- frozen stairwell of the Brooklyn Bridge Park. We had some crackers dipped in olive paste and some (unidentifiable) cheese. Despite the blazing cold where my fingers and toes stopped responding to my commands, I very much enjoyed taking you in for a brief and calm sudden moment.

After filling our stomach at Mr. Tuka Ramen (170 Allen St.), we needed to walk it off a bit right so we headed towards world renown Comedy Cellar to test your sense of humor. Are you that funny? Unfortunately you are ever so crowded so we again ditched the queue and got some late drinks at the hotel. I served my friend some of the ice wine I got from my trip to Montreal the weekend before. It was so sweet but so tasty.

More sight seeing followed on our last day photographing the one World Trade Center and the memorial site, stopped by Wall Street to find the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl. Finally walked towards the Battery Park to have a peak at the Statue of Liberty from a far distance. But on our way to Sunday Brunch, not Egg Shop,151 Elizabeth St.), not the Butcher’s Daughter (19 Kenmare St.) (the queue estimated to be 1 hour waiting time so no thanks!!) got a green juice (must have Matcha Fizz made of matcha, fresh lime, honey and rosemary ) at the Cafe Integral (149 Elizabeth St.) and amazing classic Persian food instead (Ravagh Persian Grill, 125 1st Ave.). On our way there, I got to see life through Greenwich village. Kids playing at the playground and youngsters shooting hoops. And other people brunching too. The Persian grill was phenomenal! I’d recommend to anyone! And finally time was up!

1. The New Deal

This seems pretty legit, especially because FDR is in it and that was his thing.  New Deal also speaks to the teams new lives and mission here.

2. Know your Onions

Well this is one of those weird titles that makes little sense.  There is a song by The Shins  But its also a saying for being very knowledgeable about something.  So this is where we’re really going to see Robo Coulson really showing how invaluable to this.  Also might speak to the learning curve the team is facing with all the new stuff.  Also a good chance we at least get a glimpse of FItz here before he disappears for a bit.

3. Alien Commies from the Future

Well the Chronicoms take over some Russians and I’ll put the time period they visit here anywhere between the 50′s and 80′s due to the “commies” reference.  Good chance we’ll see lots of Military here based on who is already in IMDB.   This may also be when we see Enver show up…or two…depends on where they go after saving Freddy. Also trying not to think of Killer Clowns from Outer Space here.

Written by the Zuckermans have given us episodes Lockup, Boom, A LIfe Spent, Option Two, Code Yellow, and This SIgn.  They do have a decent amount of Philinda under their belts so this could be where we see May on a mission with Robo Coulson for the first time.

4. Out of the Past

Well something from someone one the teams past is likely going to come back to haunt them here.  And it also might tie into the 1947 movie bearing the same name about a small town gas station that has his life turned upside down when figures from his past return.  So they’ll be going for someone who ‘got out” and now is being pulled back in.

5. A Trout in the Milk

Guys I swear my google history for this show.  Another title based on a saying.  The meaning is that although you did not see the dairy farmer do it, he most probably dipped the milk pail in the stream to water down the product. It’s not direct evidence but a very strong circumstantial case.It is attributed as follows: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk. ‘ (Henry David Thoreau)  So the team will have strong evidence on something but can’t be 100% on it.  This could speak to who they feel the Chronicoms are after, if there is a traitor in their midst (its an annual tradition after all), or this could be where something could be wrong with Fitz and Jemma is starting to worry more/pick up on it.

6. Adapt or Die

Raise your hand if this SCREAMS when we are gonna see Ward again!   Because he said that a few times when he was discussing why he followed Hydra.  I just have no idea WHAT Ward we are dealing with…preturn Ward, Hydra Head Ward, Squidward (yay I got to use it again).  If not Ward someone has to adjust to the new situation and fast in order to survive.  This could speak to someone being captured, gone under cover, or something out of left Field.  Knowing who the writer is…could me buckle up for some Fitzsimmons feels people.

Written by DJ Doyle…and a favorite with Fitzsimmons fans as he has given us some of the most iconic Fitzsimmons moments.  Past credits include The Things We Bury, Melinda, Purpose in the Machine, Many Heads on Tale, The Team,  Deals with Our Devils, INESCAPABLE!!!!!Also worth pointing out the sixth episode of each season has a history of being big FItzsimmons Episodes.

7. The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and the D

OMG we are getting a Bill and Ted esque Mack and Deke Team up. EEEEEEEEE!!!!!  I do believe this is where we are going to get “The closest thing to a Musical Episode the show will ever do” and Deke in the Red Leather pants.  Bring on the 80′s/90′s nostalgia folks.  I don’t even care what is happening this one is gonna be awesome.  Also considering the writer we need to be on the lookout for a FItznapping….this is the dude who has written most of them.

Written by Brent Fletcher who has done some major major episodes.  The Dirty Half Dozen, Closure, Broken Promises, Farewell Cruel World (IE thank goodness we are FINALLY out of the Framework), FUN & GAMES, Space Vegas, and New LIfe.   

8. After Before

I wanna lean flashback here and this could be where we get some answers from Jemma as to what happened during “we had time” and the fallout from that.  It could also speak to a comparison or a change in someone, a play on a “Before and After” King of Reveal.  Once again the writers lean towards something happening on the FItzsimmons front as they are the other resident Married couple with Jed/Mo on the writing team.

9. As I have Always Been

We do believe this is the episode LIL Directed…YAY!  

Which means Jemma will be light in both it and 8.This screams something to do with Enoch to me (like i hear him saying it when i read it), its pretty much what he said to Fitz before he gassed him.  And in the trailer we see Enoch seemingly getting left behind as the the Zephyr Jumps away, stranding him in time.  It also means if we lose sight of him for a bit we might need to be concerned about him getting co opted by the evil Chronicoms and used against the team.  It should also be said that Enoch was on the planet for centuries, it could be only a matter of time before they come across his past self.

Written by Drew Greenberg, another one of the long time heavy hitters.  Dirty Half Dozen, Who you Really Are, Absolution, Wake Up, All the Comforts of Home, and Leap.

10. Stolen

Well this screams someone getting kidnapped and/or having their memories messed with.  It could also speak to an item stolen or stolen time.  This is also the point where we really could see Fitz coming back into the mix more.  This is also the point in the Season where everything typically starts to go to poop.  Targets for kidnapping for me are Robo Coulson as he’s what Shield has been using to keep ahead of the Chronicoms.  Fitz because well it’s Fitz and he’s in hiding for a reason.  Enoch to be used against the team.

merry christmas eve!

To: @strangelypensieve   Hello! I hope that you like this fic, I took it from a Christmas prompt and I hope this is fluffy enough for you! And hey, we have been following each other for some times, so I'm glad I'm writing to a follower I know :) Merry Christmas, and if you're not celebrating Christmas, let me say, Happy Holidays! 

“I get caught with one of my friends under the mistletoe and you literally sprint from across the room to shove them out of the way and take their spot” AU

Daisy takes a sip from her eggnog and look all around the base, there are happy faces everywhere. Most of the people gather at the base to have a small Christmas celebration and there are happy faces everywhere. There is one particular face that she has been looking for the entire time but she is not there. Daisy huffs and takes another sip off her eggnog. She is kind of excited to spend Christmas with the team since they are making some “Secret Santa” event and she got Jemma’s name and she had prepared a special gift for Jemma. They have been through hard times these year and Daisy feels Jemma deserve some happiness. So she has prepared a day full of activities for them and in the end of the day Daisy plans to tell Jemma about her feelings for the past 4 years. Daisy is nervous but excited at the same time, so she keeps looking for Jemma and it turns out Jemma is not there.

“Hey everything alright, Tremors?” Mack nudges her and Daisy realizes she has been spacing out.

“Everything’s great Mack, at last we got some peace and quiet,” Daisy replies.

“Ah yeah, that’s right, it means you can get your some of your own peace and quiet,” Yo-Yo suddenly appears between them, winking to Daisy.

“Wait, since when are you here? And what do you mean?” Daisy crinkles her eyebrows.

Yo-Yo smirks at Daisy, “I see that worried face you make looking for Simmons, and don’t forget that I’m fast, I know things you are too slow to know,” she grins as Mack puts his arm around her and chuckles.

“Forget it you guys,” Daisy shakes her head, “it might not happen,”

“Stop saying that. Everyone knows about you two,” Yo-Yo says as she sips her beer.

“What? Nothing happened between us,” Daisy shrugs but she looks a bit surprised. Mack then smiles, shaking his head, “Tremors, if you could just see the way she looks at you and you look at her, you two are meant for each other, I’m not being a cliché but knowing your history, damn, I don’t even know how you two are not together by now,” Mack pats Daisy’s shoulder. Yo-Yo grins and punches Daisy’s shoulder playfully because Daisy is starting to blush.

The encouragement from Yo-Yo and Mack are helping Daisy to be braver in telling Jemma her feelings. She smiles a little and she walks around the room to chat with other operatives, getting to know the people outside the team. Right when Daisy is talking with Agent Koenig, she spots Jemma entering the room from the corner of her eyes and she is talking with Bobbi, her eyes so bright and full of expectations. Daisy bet they are talking about some biological development on the alien organism from Maveth. Daisy wants to directly go to Jemma and just talk with her, hearing about newest development of some organisms or newest chemical toxin from aliens, she doesn’t care as long as she can watches Jemma talk about things she’s passionate about. However, Agent Koenig doesn’t seem to catch that Daisy has lose interest and he keeps on ranting about his twins and their Christmas family traditions. Daisy tries her best to nod and smile at what Agent Koenig says and then she looks that Jemma and Bobbi are approaching some mistletoes that hanged over the ceiling of the base. Daisy panics, seeing that Jemma is blushing at what Bobbi says and Bobbi putting her arms around Jemma. No, she can’t let that happen. She interrupts Agent Koenig, “Sorry Bill, I think I need to pee, had to much eggnog, catch you later bye!” Daisy starts to sprint, finding her way through the people gathering in the room. Jemma and Bobbi are almost at the mistletoe and they have not realized it, Daisy hopes that they won’t so they don’t have to kiss. Sure, it’s a tradition, but who knows if both parties enjoy it right?

Daisy runs as fast as she can, trying not to knock out the champagne glasses or people that are scattered around the room, laughing and talking with each other. She dodges Coulson that is talking to May, causing them both to shake their heads looking at Daisy sprinting around the room. Daisy can hear Yo-Yo shouts, “RUN, DAISY RUN!” at her, she chuckles and she will actually give Yo-Yo credits for her Flash reference, but now what matters most is stopping Jemma and Bobbi from kissing under the mistletoe.

Meanwhile, Jemma feels very happy since she can talk with a person who actually understands new topics she has been dying to talk about. She beams at what Bobbi says and it turns out that they both have the same opinion about certain things regarding xenophobia. She doesn’t realize it but then Bobbi stops suddenly to tie her shoelace, Jemma immediately bumps toward Bobbi, but Bobbi is fast enough to keep them both from falling down.

“Sorry,” Bobbi says, “ shouldn’t have told you I’m tying my shoelace, we got so caught up on these new policies,”

“It’s quite alright Bobbi,” Jemma grins, “I’m just happy that at last there is someone I can talk to about this that seriously understands and can give more opinions about it,” she continues, “not that I’m complaining about my audience,” she trails off.

“Hmm, Simmons,” Bobbi raises her eyebrows, “I think I know who would like to listen to your crazy rants but did not understand a thing you said,” she bursts out laughing.

“What? How? I am not implying to a certain person,” Jemma blushes, her nose scrunching.

“I think everybody knows, Simmons,” Bobbi winks.

“About what?” Jemma tilts her head slightly.

“Your so-not-little crush toward Daisy,” she smirks triumphantly at Jemma and Jemma blushes very hard until the tips of her ears are also red.

“No,” Jemma responds, “i-it’s not, w-wait, I-I don’t know!” she waves her hand frantically.

“Okay here, let me tell you, I think she really likes you, for these past years I ‘ve seen the way you look at her, and hell, when I heard the story about you two being the last one remaining against the LMDs, and how she swore to get you out of this place,” Bobbi continues, “it is fucking crazy and I think she loves you, Simmons,”

Jemma’s jaw drops as she processes what Bobbi says, thinking that she misheard what Bobbi says she shakes her head and she is only able to get out a word, “What?!”

“Urgh, you’re so dense for a person who have god knows how much PhDs! I’ll just show you,” Bobbi takes a few step and Jemma follows her, and then Bobbi looks up, Jemma also looks up.

“Okay…?” Jemma looks at Bobbi awkwardly.

“Mistletoe means we should kiss right? It’s the tradition?” Bobbi dares her, her eyes are mischievous.

Jemma is super-confused but she just goes with it, “Y-yes, sure,”

When Bobbi starts to pull her closer suddenly Bobbi is shoves off her spot and Daisy is in front of her. Her eyes expecting and she is breathless, catching her breath in between grasping Jemma’s hand. “Mistletoe!” Daisy exclaims. Jemma then smiles giddily, cupping Daisy’s face, leaning in and pressing her lips toward Daisy’s. The kiss lasted for a while, Jemma does not know how long but she just feel that it is perfect, and she does not care if the whole base is directing their eyes toward them, she got Daisy holding her, their lips connecting with each other. They pull apart and Daisy looks at her with a soft smile and red cheeks, then she turns toward Bobbi and offers her a hand to pull her up, “Sorry, but it’s my spot,” she grins cheekily toward Bobbi. Bobbi takes her hand and gives her a fist bump, “You owe me one, Johnson!” Daisy just laughs as she drags Jemma’s hand to move to a more private place. Yo-Yo and Mack raises a glass toward Daisy, Coulson and May smile contently looking at them, Fitz is in the corner of the room giving them thumbs up.

“So…” Jemma starts to speak as soon as they get to a more private place.

“So…” Daisy answers, pulling Jemma closer to her, “do I need more mistletoe to kiss you, or what?”

Jemma blushes, “I don’t think so,” she answers confidently, grinning as Daisy kisses her again, then Jemma pulls apart and says, “It’s not like I was the one who sprints across the room to kiss somebody right?”

It is now Daisy’s turn to blush and she smiles sheepishly, “I thought I can wait ‘til I give you your Secret Santa present, but after all the things happening I just don’t think I should wait, I love you Jemma,” she says sincerely, “I have been in love with you since I see you on the first day I was transferred to the Bus, and I never stopped, the problem is I have been too much of a coward not to tell you,”

“Daisy, you do not know how many nights I’ve wished you say that to me,” she feels her eyes watering, “I love you too, Daisy,”

They pull apart to catch a breath and Daisy takes out her present and gives it to Jemma, “Merry Christmas, Jemma” she smiles sweetly, kissing Jemma’s forehead.

Jemma caress Daisy’s cheek as she leans in to give a peck toward Daisy, “Merry Christmas too, Daisy” then she continues, “By the way, did you quake Bobbi a little while trying to shove her?” she asks curiously.

“Well, hey, I’m not The Flash! I am not that fast!” Daisy sticks out her tongue and intertwines their finger together. Jemma laughs at Daisy’s response and guiding her back to the room to celebrate the ‘proper Christmas event’ until the end. They both walk hand in hand to the room with a big smile, beaming at each other. For now, they are happy and content.
