Varys, Tyrion and Sansa
Remember that scene when Varys told Tyrion, "The Seven Kingdoms need someone stronger than Tommen, but gentler than Stannis. A monarch who could intimidate the High Lords and inspire the people. A ruler loved by millions, with a powerful army, and the right family name…"
It doesnt fit only D. It fits for Sansa, too.
Okay. Let's start with Varys.
So I've read an anon ask saying that it might be Tyrion and Varys that will play part in D's treason. Also said that maybe Jon is the "once for love" treason, but it can also mean Varys. Sounds nonsense, I know, but if you will think what does Varys loves the most? What is his dream? What has he been after eversince? The good of the realm. He loves the realm. He loves their country. He love peace and he will do anything for it. Thus, if Varys will betray D, he did it for love.
Remember when he talked with Tyrion about D being on her way to being his Father's like? That if with the right counsel, she wont be like him. And seriously, this season, Varys has been very quiet. It's like he's contemplating. What if, what if Varys will betray D? What if he chooses someone who fits that line bolded above? And who that may be? Sansa. Sansa is stronger than Tommen, after all her loved ones death and the pressure put in her, she's still alive. She is gentler than Stannis, to rule without burning people alive, without shoving in their throats that she is their ruler. Sansa is respected by High Lords after winning back Winterfell. She's seen as a good leader, thinking about the supply for the coming winter. She inspired people and is loved by them. Not in the level of D since she's been called Mhysa and breaker of chain, but she has her own way. The North will rally for her, especially now that she has won back WF, and she is backed up by the Vale and, if they can, the Tullys will too. And amongst all, she has the right family name. She is a Stark. Who would the people prefer? A Stark or a Targ? A Stark who is known for their honor or a targ who has been bringing fire and blood?
When Varys sails to WF and he sees what a good leader and Lady she has become, he might prefer her over D.
And what if this happen? It will support a prophecy. The prophecy about the Younger More Beautiful Queen and the Valonqar.
Varys and Tyrion is a team, even if they admit it or not, they are. They've been working together for the greater good. The burning of Tarlys, bringing 3 dragons against the NK, and falling in love with Jon are some of the things that Tyrion highly disagreed and with the last, as what Peter, Tyrion thinks its gonna be dangerous. And we know that Tyrion is fond of Sansa. He knows her and what if he sees what Sansa has finally become? A great ruler and a Lady? What if they decide to chose her over D?
And back to the prophecy for Cersei, if Varys and Tyrion, will root for Sansa. Sansa will have the Seven Kingdom's most cunning and intellegent advisors. Two of those who outlived kings. Two of those who are great players of the Game. Not to mention that Jon is there to protect her. Sansa might be able to beat Cersei and D after the Great War and/or if Cersei and D will insist of continuing their warㅡ even though Sansa will take no part of it since she is busy preparing for the Great War against the NK and the WWㅡ she will still be involved whether she likes it or not (and if the leaks about Sansa being kidnapped, she will really play a big role for the prophecy). She will be the YMBQ and if Tyrion will help Sansa, he will be the Valonqar. Not directly, maybe. Not that he will choke the life out of her neck, but the decisions that Tyrion will make, will choke all the chances she will have and thus killing the life out of her.
This isn't supported with clear datas, photos, gif, book quotes and such. Somehow, this is show-wise. This is mainly about how i think its gonna be by how the characters acted in and is cinematized by the show. So yeah. Fuck season 8. I need it sooner so my mind will stop with these ideas and theories.

Ahem,
Tyrion Lanniester was always kind to Sansa, always aware of and supportive of  her intelligence, and respected her physical boundaries
their bantery mind games based power couple dynamic is everything i want for Sansa. Not a romance that sees her as a delicate lady who needs to be protected, but one who sees her as an intellectual equal with the political savy of littlefinger, but the kindness of a stark, and loves her for it
She would just destory the political game and Tyrion would be there on the sidelines going ‘yeah that’s my wife, isn’t she awesome’

Fictional Character ask
I was tagged by @steve-harrington-deserves-love thank you so much, i was bored in the class as usual
Who I tag: @pembrokebitch @crazyfangurll @sweetwaterwaldorf @sweet-fogarty-topaz @steroline-sk @void-jughead @bitchbiii @anotsobeautifulname-deactivated @altczarina @aerishey (two of them are not mutuals but i am curious 😊, also i added some people later on)
Fictional characters you relate most to?
Arya Stark, Tyrion lanniester (GOT)
Dee and Charlie (mines the VERY offensive behavior) (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
Rosa, Terry and Boyle (b99) JSGDSHJDJ
Mike Wheeler, Jonathan Byers (not that creepy i hope tho) (Stranger things)
Christopher McCandless (i know he was an actual person but he was a character in the movie so) (Into the Wild)
Book you can read over an over without getting tired of it?
I don't do repetitive reading but if i did i'd read the Game Of Thrones series, The Catcher in the Rye ('cause you can't really understand that book fully) and Into the Wild.
What’s your favorite comfort show/movie?
Comfort shows: It's Always Sunny in
Philadelphia, Fargo
Comfort movies: any lego movie
Which fictional character are you the most defensive over?
Veronica Lodge. I hate myself for this but i was a bughead shipper in season 1 and not a big fan of Veronica (not hateful of course but i was just not into her at that time, don't hate me pls 😕) And the Bughead blogs that i was reading was really hateful towards her and i guess they effected me so that was one of the reasons i don't ship bughead anymore (not all of the bughead fandom is like this) So, now i am very protective over Veronica because she is very complex and cute and doesn't deserve the bad treatment she gets.
Also, i am very defensive over Hvitserk from Vikings, early days of this blog i shared some of it but i die a little when Ivar threatens to kill him.
Show you fell out of love with?
I'm so sorry but every dc tv series i watched (the flash, arrow etc.) They just feel flat.
I used to watch Teen Wolf and Vampire Diaries but i never finished those.
Not any recent show cause i am very busy with my school.
Show you’re most excited about?
I would say b99 but i didn't finish with the seasons yet.
New season of It's always sunny duuuh
And 5b of vikings
What’s your aesthetic?
@toolateforacreativeurl Check this blog that i have if you wanna find out also i don't know what to call that aesthetic so there is that.
Favorite Fanfic tropes?
Not a huuuuge fan of fanfiction, i know it's not the norm around here but i read too many when i was a fan of bands and stuff. BUT i like love-hate relationships that are cute not abusive obviously.
I AM SORRY IT WAS TOO LONG I HAD TIME IN MY HANDS

I agree about Littlefinger not caring at all about anyone else, but I’m not so sure that’s true of Varys. Varys has been shown repeatedly to make dreadful choices that had deadly consequences for others, but I’ve always had the impression (at least for Show!Varys) that they were hard choices made in the service of (what Varys thinks is) the greater good; I don’t think Varys is misanthropic, although perhaps it’s fair to say that his connection to “the people” is remote and unemotional.
The difference between Varys and Doran that I see is that Doran has children and siblings that he cares deeply about, while Varys has no one. I think Doran is somewhere in-between Varys, a consummate game-player who’s unhindered by familial love and the fears and hopes it engenders, and Ned Stark, a bumbling political novice who avoided the game for as long as he could and who does a dreadful job balancing his love for his family with his political aims once he finally does step into the arena. Doran sees the game and understands it quite well, he doesn’t scorn it and avoid it the way Ned did for a long time (also when Ned did finally start playing, he was holding his nose in disgust, as if politics were beneath him).
But like Ned, Doran’s love of kin and people makes him hesitate or seek happier solutions where someone without an emotional stake in things would have acted more ruthlessly and decisively. I think the story presented by the Martells is a great examination of how even a politically astute family (i.e. not the Starks) suffer because of their love for each other. I think the other contrast to make with the Martells are the Lanniesters, whose cut-throat ambitions and ruthlessness aren’t weighted down by familial love. The thing about the Lannisters, and Littlefinger, is that their aim is personal power and prestige. Tywin is all too willing to sacrifice his children’s happiness - even their lives - in service of maintaining his power and status. Cersei and Tyrion are cut from the same cloth. It’s a selfish and individualistic pursuit of power. The Martells, on the other hand, are thinking about the welfare of their family, and their people, and so their equations are always messier and never unilateral.
doran’s entire thing is that it’s difficult to play the game of thrones and care about civilians at the same time. varys and littlefinger don’t care what happens as long as they achieve their goals, doran is paralysed by the possibilities.
had doran been a gambler, he would have been close to his goal but he makes every step knowing that people won’t die because of it. and that hinders him a great deal. he can’t let his sister’s murder go unpunished but he also can’t act recklessly because his people will suffer the most. that is why he is very careful, should varys tell robert about doran’s plans, they could go to war. it’s not like doran has many options when it comes to allies- robert has the lannisters, the starks, the tullys and the arryns. the reach are racist towards dorne but they might follow a targaryen except that targaryen is viserys who is paranoid and who moves from place to place. doran’s situation doesn’t allow for successful long term planning because the pieces are scattered across the board.
the entire point of doran (and even arianne) is that you have to be a misanthrope to play the game of thrones. doran isn’t and that is why he failed- not because he is dumb.

Since the GoT season finale...
Things that have been on my mind….
I’m not really sure why people are so surprised that it took Jaime all this time to finally leave Cersei. He’s spent his entire life loving her – as a sister, as a romantic/sexual partner. She’s been the world to him. You don’t just…you can’t just turn those feelings off. It’s not a fucking light switch. And toxic relationships can be hard to get out of. First you have to recognize it’s toxic. Then you have to accept that it’s toxic and that you can’t fix it. That’s a process, and it’s not always a linear one. Not to mention that Cersei is manipulative as hell – she knew how to get Jaime to stay (like with waiting for a good moment to tell him she’s pregnant; she knows how much family means to him.) I think he’s had the understanding that things were beyond repair for a some time now, but it’s finding the strength to walk away, it’s clawing out of denial, it’s getting through that first stage of grief…it takes a fuckton of time.
And aside from just that, there’s another layer to this. Mainly this: Jaime didn’t really have anywhere else to go. I mean, ok, maybe, he could have walked away completely. Gone to the Rock, taken the Lanniester troops with him… But, two things:
First, at this point the Lannisters aren’t powerful alone and Jaime doesn’t have the political skill or desire to pull the kind of feat he would need to pull to get enough allies behind him for the House to survive without being linked to (the power of) the Crown. And Jaime cares about family and the Lannister name. Not in the psychotic, obsessive way Cersei does but it means a lot to him. (Hell, it even means something to Tyrion.) Separating from the Crown would have been disastrous for both.
The second thing, and probably more likely here, is that Jaime hadn’t quite built up the resolve to walk away from Cersei before Daenerys and her dragons happened. And once they did? I mean, look, he can see Cersei’s is crazy or at least getting there. But he was clearly having some traumatic flashbacks of the Mad King when Daenerys was burning his army. So…he’s got a choice between two mad queens. Except one is also his sister and (up until now, anyway) the love of his life (and then the mother of his future child) and the other is a ~foreign queen~ and a stranger and woman who clearly (or at least likely) wants the destruction of his entire family.  Like, can you really blame him for holding on to Cersei in those circumstances?
But then in the last episode the stakes change. Suddenly, it’s not just Cersei vs. Daenerys, it’s not just House Lannister at stake, or even his own life. It’s the life of all of Westeros. A battle of life and death. Once the stakes are existential, Jaime has a reason to walk away, a reason he can live with under all circumstances and outcomes.
I understand why Jon feels the way he does re: Theon and Theon taking Winterfell, but I’m a kinda annoyed that it seems like we’re supposed to agree with him. Because, like…no? Theon is a Greyjoy, was always a Greyjoy. Ned may treated him well, but Theon was still the Stark’s hostage and I doubt that he wouldn’t have been executed if the Greyjoys had stepped out of line. And I doubt this fact was lost on even a pretty young Theon, not to mention a teenage/adult Theon. He didn’t owe the Starks shit re: personal loyalty. (Bannerman-wise is a different story maybe, but that’s not why Jon’s pissed. He’s making it more personal, and that’s where it goes off the rails.) Also, who was more of a father to Theon, Ned or his real father, isn’t the only consideration. Like, Theon’s siblings (like Yara) are also his family. They count. He’s a Greyjoy.
And on the note of Theon – boy kicked ASS. Finally <3 (You’re doing great, love!)
I’m totally side-eying all the people who were just appalled at the very idea of Jaime/Cersei ~because incest and are now cheering their heads off for Jon/Daenerys. Like…so, can you stand incest or not? What’s the truth?
When the fuck are Tyrino and Jaime getting their hug? I They better get my their hug before this show ends, I s2g.

A GUERRA DOS TRONOS - VOL. 4
(George R. R. Martin)

Game of Thrones: Do Luxo ao Lixo
