Headcanons | Jasper Hale | You're a Newborn In Maria's Army

A/N: Just wanted to write something Jasper! Love this character so much and my first ever fanfiction (that I wrote at 14!) was an OCxJasper Hale! This idea is inspired by one of my longer fics but I was just antsy to write something now. That fic is still in the works rn because of my Paul Lahote fic Touch The Soul. So, really, this is a little sneak peek at the vibes of my next Twilight fanfiction :) Without further ado, please enjoy and make sure to request if you like my stuff! So basically you were a mistake. He shouldn’t have distracted that newborn while he was feeding.

But with hindsight, Jasper said your change was a happy accident.

When you woke up you were partially feral, with blips of control- you had strong morals though

Jasper would have to chaperone you during feeds- he knew if you saw a child or woman hurt you’d go ballistic

When you were in control he managed to find out you were the only child of a blacksmith

Made sense when it came to fighting- you were strong, he had to give you that

What was the difference between chaperone and mentor? Well, to Jasper, there wasn’t one.

He personally trained you with the intention of keeping you past a year

At first it was serious, but once you exceeded his expectations it became an excuse to enjoy each other’s company.

You would go swimming in the nearest lake you could find, stripping off and enjoying the water

Although you didn’t sweat, the blood, mud, dust and other human secretions dirtied you.

Jasper made a habit of chasing you around the lake with his stained shirt

You knew if he caught up he’d rub it in your face, “Get a good whiff for me” he’d tease as he straddled your hips.

You’d splash each other, dare each other to drink animal blood (you always forfeited though and would just play fight) and you’d rate the cannonballs you’d do

You would wash his hair, running your hands through the gold strands with utmost care

You weren’t very talkative unlike Jasper, always the charismatic, southern gentleman- it was easy to see why Maria claimed him

From fighting like you did nudity was no big deal, bathing was necessary and newborns only really thought about blood, it was no big deal

He’d always plait your wet hair when you’d finished.

You asked Jasper how he learned to plait hair, he said it was a vague memory

From then on, as the most literate between you, you encouraged Jasper to share about his human life before it completely slipped away

This was once you could hold a pen without breaking it, it took over an hour of tantrums to manage it

You only got to write three pages chronicling his human life- he couldn’t remember much

But that didn’t stop jasper from folding the paper small and keeping them in a leather pouch in his breast pocket

When everyone’s emotions got too much Jasper would trace the way you wrote his name.

The dress you wore after the change was stolen from Nettie’s old things, Jasper wanted you to have nice things

He would say thank you for being his comrade with new pencils, a comb, shawls and ribbons for your hair

Jasper was bad at expressing himself, he thought actions spoke louder than words- after all his charisma did make him talk a lot of bullshit

You would do the same with words, combating your quietness with a new compliment.

He would leave you always smiling while he left Maria renewed as her merciless-monster-of-a-lover

Jasper had to hold you back a lot from storming up to your Coven Leader and giving her a piece of your mind

After, you’d strop (as Jasper called it). Silent treatment was a given so avoiding him entirely was what brought you two back to normal

He didn’t know when that was, you’d just suddenly be there next to him like you popped out of thin air. You wouldn’t admit you had Jasper Withdrawals

Jasper would ruffle your hair with a smirk like he was saying ‘You done pouting now?’

You’d slap his hand away (thankful you couldn’t blush) and look up to glare at him, but his smile was what you really wanted to see. Your strange addiction

When feelings started to develop between you being amongst an army of newborns made it hard for Jasper to pick them up

It was a very confusing time, and with Maria breathing down your neck it stayed ‘more than friends, less than lovers’ for decades.

He would stare at you just too long and Peter would whack him around the head

Because of that Peter actually managed to beat Jasper in a fight- he’s always held it over his head.

When Jasper saw you attacked in a fight he was right at your side and vice versa. After one fight in particular you both realised how much you cared for each other.

Downside? Maria was starting to notice

He let Peter and Charlotte go at the price of taking you

It wasn’t easy but his promise to come find you settled your heart

“I promise I’ll find you. If not in a few days or even decades, know I’m still coming… then we’ll never part again”

And he meant it when he said decades.

At least the 80s were good for one thing- Jasper with a shaggy mullet was something you’d never let him live down

aro is an obsessive yandere. he isn't the worst of the kings to get but isn't the best either.

he will keep you at his side at all times, in bed or in the throne room with you beside his throne, he wont ever let you have a moment without him.

he wont give you the choice of mortal or immortal he will turn you upon meeting. after all you'll be his forever so names and dates can happen later.

he wont allow anyone besides those he trusts near you, and anyone else who dares try to speak to you will die.

you'll never escape him, he practically has the entire volturi guarding you so theres no chance of ever leaving him.

of the three kings, Caius is the worst to get, both as a soulmate and yandere.

Don't get me wrong he will still love you and give you subtle affection but nowhere near as much as the other two.

he would keep you close, practically locked away in a room for his eyes only in fear of you running away or someone stealing you.

like aro, if he ever saw anyone who he did not approve of you talking to then he will not hesitate to tear them apart, even if you're standing there.

if you ever by miracle managed to escape from him expect that you will lose any bit of freedom when he catches you. because he will lock you away.

you will not be given a choice to turn or not. he will turn you and you will accept it or he will lock you away until you do.

he would be the best of the kings to have as your soulmate and yandere.

he would never lay a finger on you to hurt you, the worst punishment he will ever give you is forced affection.

he will turn you, but he would be gentle about it, apologizing the entire time and talking of how he had to turn you so that he wouldn't lose you.

he will spoil you, giving you presents like jewelry and books. he would give you the world if you asked for it, he just wants to see his mate happy.

it would break him if you ever escaped, he would be so hurt that after all he did you left him.

of course he wouldn't let you leave for long, he would send Felix or Demetri to return you. and once back he wont punish you, he'll just claim that he hasnt been giving you enough love and that hes not angry for you leaving. after of course chaining your leg to the bed so you cant do it again.

if you had all three of the kings as yandere's and soulmates then you are never seeing the light of day or anything out of the castle again.

they are obsessive and impossible to escape on their own but together you'll never be without at least one of them.

aro and Caius will ensure that no one besides them talks to you, while marcus try's to convince them not to kill anyone who does.

you will be turned by them, no matter what you will. just hope that its marcus or aro who does it because caius will be quite rough while doing it.

they will of course become jealous of each other, marcus is the nicest so the other two will be jealous of how you lean to him more. aro keeps you by his side most of the time and the others get jealous over him spending the most time with you. caius is the type to lock you in his room and keep you to himself for however long he pleases which causes anger more then jealousy in the others.

youre not escaping, there is no way that you can manage to escape them unless you have some insane gift that can fight off the entire volturi.

you're theirs for all eternity it doesn't matter if theyre together or separate you will not escape them.

Today I woke up and thought ... what if the Twilight Saga was a horror franchise?

There’s a quiet choreography to it, the folding, the tucking, the deliberate creasing of yourself into corners. Not all at once, but carefully, slowly, with an artisan’s precision. You fold yourself in halves, then quarters, then into shapes so small they can fit into the margins of someone else’s world. Their part of the picture remains untouched, pristine, brilliant in its wholeness, because of course it does. You see them in sunlit colors, smoothed out of imperfections, a constellation too sacred to rearrange. But your side? Your side crumples inward, unworthy of the same space, as though the part of you that stands beside them demands to be erased. It’s not their doing. They didn’t place their hands on you to press you down. You did it yourself. They shine so effortlessly, you dim yourself, shrinking into quiet, convincing yourself it’s safer this way. Safer to leave them untouched. Safer to pretend they were never meant to hold all of you. You press your edges down flat, whispering to the soft parts of yourself, stay still. It’s not self-destruction, it’s preservation.

Headcanons | The Cullens | (Horror) Movie Night

A/N: Omg another request! I have a feeling you're not a stranger and I'm happy you requested! I had soooooo much fun doing this one and had just watched paranormal activity today so it really got me in the mood. Requests are OPEN so if you like Twilight, TVD, TO, Harry Potter, Arcane, House of the Dragon or Game of Thrones check out my blog! Without further ado, ENJOY!

Alice sees it before Bella even picks it up, she knows they're gonna hate it.

Edward does as well, but he knows once Bella gets that look in her eye there’s no stopping her.

She moves for the DVD player quicker than they thought she could- she knows Edward and Alice will try to stop her.

Vampires are so set in their ways it left only three places in the living room for Bella to choose from- they all had an assigned seat.

Emmett decides tonight will be his lucky night to not burn the popcorn- they mark another 0 on the ‘days since Emmett’s burnt something’ sign.

When they all get seated on the sofa and see Blumhouse Studios pop up on screen they all have a different reaction to what's coming.

Jasper tenses up like he’s ready to run- he’s seen real horrors but ghosts are a big no no, especially around his family.

Yeah, ghost movies are banned in the Cullen Household, Vampire ones aren’t even a close second.

Alice and Rosalie both lean in closer to their husbands- Rosalie more stealthily than the former.

Rosalie puts on a brave face but both Edward and Jasper know it’s an act.

Emmett tries to hide his fear as well, but unlike his wife he fails immensely- he looks almost human fidgeting in his seat.

Jasper and Edward dread the fear and potential jump scares waiting for them- it’s so much worse with their gifts.

Alice can’t see anything, nobody decides to be jump scared and movies don’t make decisions. She dreads the next 2 hours.

Horror movies are so much worse than usual and having Bella there means they have to turn up the volume way louder- it’s usually at a 1.

Meanwhile, Bella loves horror movies and gets giddy with anticipation.

She doesn’t notice the family’s side eye as she falls onto the sofa next to Edward- her smile is cheeky as she stuffs sweets into her mouth.

When the movie starts they’re all chill but they know it’s the calm before the storm.

Carlisle is fast, only the vampires notice him leave and return with ear plugs.

Esme sees it as a sign of betrayal and decides to pull them out before throwing them out the window. Sure, she didn’t play baseball but that’s not because she didn’t have a good arm.

Alice hides behind Jasper, Jasper is a rock- like he literally won’t move.

Rosalie is the same but it’s more out of pride- Emmett wins with the most jump scares

Surprisingly, Carlisle is a close second and he’s tempted to leave. He refuses, Esme tells him it’s rude and he needs to set an example.

Esme runs her hand through his hair after every scare. She seems to be handling it a lot better than her family. They never guessed it.

They all placed a bet on Jasper not being scared. It's the first time they can bet against Alice, why wouldn't they?

Bella laughs at them but she tries to hide it the best she can- Edward is now the one fidgeting, he can see everything the family is imagining.

Edward and Carlisle hated ghosts/demons the most, maybe it was their upbringing, they don’t know. It’s unnerving.

Bella gets giddy and starts jumping in place as she anticipates another scare.

Jasper and Edward send a look to each other, they’re planning a coup d’état to dethrone Bella’s authority over movie night.

Alice recalls saying Bella’s human so she should get to choose what they watch, ‘it’ll help them understand modern pop culture’ she thought.

Alice regrets it... immensely.

Mid-way through Emmett grabs Rosalie and sits her on his lap, attempting to hide but she shoves him off- there’s no way he’s getting out of watching and she isn’t.

Bella starts talking to the victims in the movie like they can hear her, while they all flinch at the scare and gore Bella groans that they’re all stupid.

“Who the hell walks toward the noise after watching your friends get massacred?” Bella boos, she is so frustrated she splits a bag of skittles as she tries to open them.

She stopped asking the family to open anything since they lost control of their strength out of fear.

She follows it up by telling them the three no's of horror movies, “no sex, no drugs, no alcohol”

Rosalie hears Bella and decides no sex for a week, Emmett perks up at that and frantically scrambles for the remote to turn off the telly.

Edward, even though he hates it, loves Bella enough to endure the movie- he decides to sit on the remote.

As payback Emmett repeats the scariest parts of the movie in his head, Edward flinches each time but doesn’t budge.

When the movie is over Emmett and Alice release a cry of relief, Jasper finally appears more human than before and Edward throws the remote at Emmett’s head- it breaks and Esme makes them run a perimeter of their land as punishment.

Carlisle’s reaction is the most shocking, he trips over the coffee table in his attempt to escape the room, saying he has work to rush off and do.

Esme distracts herself by clearing up all the remote control pieces and sweet wrappers.

The lights stay on for a solid week, Bella giggles thinking vampires are scared of the dark.

Edward realises, on the run, for the last 20 minutes of the movie he wrapped his arms around Bella, crushing her to his side. If he could blush he would stay permanently red-cheeked.

When he gets back the night ends with Bella laughing as she gets in Edward’s car to go home, “Oh my God we have to do that again! Remind me to buy a ghost mask!”

She doesn’t hear them all groan.

When Bella comes back the next week she notices all the horror movies are gone from their collection.

Jasper and Emmett smirk at each other- it was astounding they even waited a minute before burning them all.

Platonic Yandere Cullen family x sibling reader (headcanons) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

(this takes place before the timeline of the books and movies)

OVERPROTECTIVE. like seriously the definition of the word. No matter what your age your family will not stand for anyone hurting you in any way. someone insults your outfit? expect one of your sisters to 'accidentally' bump into them and spill lunch on their clothes. someone is mean? next day all of their embarrassing thoughts spilt to the school.

also no friends. your family has jealousy issues loves you to much to let you spend time with anyone but them. They convince you that a friend well only hurt you and it's better to just stay with them.

and any type of date you might want to go on is instantly shot down. Edward can read thoughts so he will say no before you even get the words out. and if he's not in the room and you get to actually say something then that's shot down to even if you cry and fight them on it. they just want to keep you safe, why cant you accept that?

most likely carlisle and esme adopted you as a baby so that they could raise you to keep their secret from a young age. but no matter how old you get esme still well treat you like her baby, so prepare to never go to any party or dates ever. even if you beg carlise to talk to her about it, he probably won't since he loves seeing his wife happy.

once, you snuck out to a party that you heard someone at school talking about after your parents told you no. they sent emmett and jasper to drag you back home and you got in trouble with every member of your family. plus got grounded for a month

when your grounded your family keeps you home from school and spends every moment with you, since of course it was the lack of attention you received that caused you to break a rule.

it is hard for them since you are human still, your brothers cant mess around with you because your so fragile. once they tried playing catch with you but emmet threw the ball to hard and it broke your arm. he felt horrible and spent the next few weeks apologizing in different ways, he also got in a lot of trouble with carlise and esme.

like said in another yandere twilight oneshot of mine, they want you to live a human life but their selfish desires well overcome them. although, you would probably have to have gotten hurt in some way for them to think about it.

they well ask you first. and if you say yes then they'll be thrilled and plan a day to do it where they can all be there to comfort you.

if you say no then they would probably do it unexpectedly, one of them would distract you while carlise or edward does it.

if that was the case then the second you wake up and feed they well shower you in apologys. seriously for the next few months they well get you whatever you want to earn your forgiveness

after your turn they well teach you everything about being a vampire, if you end up getting a gift then they become more protective then ever (if that's even possible).

maybe one day they might let you date another vampire. but of course it would have to be someone of there choosing.

and when bella comes into the picture a few years later you can completely expect her to become a platonic yandere for you aswell.
