It’s a dream he’s had all his life, always the same. A well lit room, pale whites and blues, a window open with a fresh breeze, and a boy in a bed with a smile on his face and sunlight streaming right through him. His hand is in the air like he’s reaching towards something, and Buck can see through it to the leaves on the tree outside. He realizes that the something he’s reaching towards is Buck himself, and he tries to reach back, but their hands never touch before he wakes.

Buck opens his eyes in the dark of the bunk room, station alarm going off overhead, and rolls out of bed.

Hi! Sorry, it took me a bit longer to get to this than I intended. I'm probably not the best person to ask for whump recs from as it isn't my first choice of genre, but I'll see what I can come up with. This fandom is also heavily buck-whump oriented, so I'm afraid not all of them will be that long.

19, which sounds like a made up number given that I only posted my first podfic in July 2023

What's your total ao3 word count?

404 words 🤣 but that's podfic for you. My total run time is roughly 8 hours and 10 minutes

Mostly 9-1-1, but I also have a podfic of an amazing Lucifer story.

Or i have dreams where i kiss you and it’s pink (written by fleetinghearts) with Buck in the pink princess dress? Those two are I think the sweetest for entirely different reasons 😘 But honestly most of them because i love friends to fiancés and bedsharing and idiots to lovers, just happy happy stories 😁

I think my pacing is usually pretty good? At least I like listening to myself 🙃 and I like to think I can do feelings pretty well

voices, accents and smut

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

English is my L2 so all my recording is "in another language", I hope I could do passable French, Spanish if it were more than a word or two I'd definitely be asking a friend to check my pronunciation
