Not sure if the new Prime Duggar documentary has been mentioned here yet? It’s terrifying how the evangelicals (IBLP & Bill Gothard specifically) have been brooding massive numbers of children & ‘training’ them to be Christian militants to take over the US/world for many decades. via /r/atheism

“ Whenever a Trump supporter asks you to "name one time Trump was racist," feel free to link to this....
1973: The Nixon administration sued Trump for refusing to rent to black people.
1980s: Trump's casinos were accused of hiding the black staff when Trump visited.
1989: Trump took out a full-page ad, arguing for the death penalty for a group of black men (The 'Central Park Five'), effectively putting a bounty on their heads, and plaguing them with a lifetime of death threats. He was sued by the Justice Department for discrimination.
1991: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kinds of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day… I think that the [black] guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is.”
1992: Trump's casino was fined $200,000 for transferring black dealers off certain tables to appease racist patrons.
1993: Trump said Native American casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
2000: Trump ran a series of attack ads against Native American casinos alleging (with no proof) that they were guilty of crimes.
2004: Trump fired a black contestant from 'The Apprentice' for being over-educated.
2010: Trump argued in favor of segregating Muslims in Lower Manhattan.
2011: Birtherism. Trump alleged that Obama was Kenyan based on nothing but skin color. He never apologized nor renounced that claim.
2015 (1): Trump called Mexican immigrants "rapists" who are "bringing crime and drugs" to the U.S.
2015 (2): Trump called for "a ban on all Muslims entering the U.S."
2016 (1): Trump called for a Mexican judge to recuse himself based on nothing other than his race. Paul Ryan said this was “the textbook definition of a racist comment.”
2016 (2): Trump regularly retweeted material from white supremacists and neo-Nazis during his campaign.
2016 (3): Trump tweeted a picture alleging that Hillary was Jewish, or controlled by Jewish people.
2016 (4): The Trump campaign adopted Nixon's "Law and Order" rhetoric which was based in racial fearmongering.
2016 (5): Trump told black voters "What do you have to lose?"
2017 (1): Trump asked a reporter to set up a meeting with the black caucus simply because she was black.
2017 (2): "...some very fine people on both sides" said Trump of a violent Nazi rally.
2017 (3): Trump said people from Haiti "all have AIDS" and people from Nigeria would never “go back to their huts” after seeing America.
2018 (1): Trump called Haiti and African countries shitholes.
2018 (2): Trump referenced the trail of tears to mock Elizabeth Warren.
2019: Trump tweeted that four black and brown congresswomen should go back where they came from. Then attacked Elijah Cummings. Then Baltimore. Then Al Sharpton.
2020: Trump called black protesters "THUGS" just days after calling white protesters "very good people." Then he threatened to direct the military to shoot the black protestors in the street.”-Translate Trump

I'm not thrilled about Biden or Harris, but you know what? I'd rather vote for candidates that "I'm not thrilled about" than allowing a literal NAZI run this fucking country for another four years. Trump's father was a prominent member of the KKK, and he takes after his old man down to the letter. Biden is an out of touch joke of a politician but Trump is a fucking white supremacist and far more dangerous and unfit than any other old white dude with outdated ideas. He's killing Americans because his money and power are more important than his people. He went golfing during a global pandemic and an unprecedented social revolution, then hid in a bunker like a goddamn coward when the people went to his house to confront him about his incompetence. I will vote for Biden, or whichever Left leaning candidate is nominated because the alternative is the American version of Nazi Germany.

Because I live with a bunch of racist cunts, I have seen the new Trump 2020 ad like 20× and it's killing me.
"Due to police defunding, there is no one here to take your call" okay, fine whatever. Zero fucks given.
"To report a rape, press one" nope. STOP RIGHT TF THERE BITCH.
As someone who was raped, and who reported it to the police only for them to do NOTHING about it, DO NOT. FUCKING. TRY TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO VOTING FOR YOU BY TELLING THEM THAT THEY'LL NOT BE ABLE TO REPORT A RAPE OTHERWISE.
The cops don't do shit about the rapes that they do get reports on. The cop I talked to about my rape, rolled his eyes at me mid discussion. HE. WAS. NEVER. GOING. TO. "investigate". IT.
So, no, Trump2020, I will not vote for you out of fear that there won't be someone there to take my call the next time I am raped. Nonononono. You CANNOT scare me into that because I know the truth, that even if there were 1,000,000 cops on duty the night I was raped, if I called them, the man who did it would still be free today. I would probably be in custody for *pull reason out of hat*, and we all know by now that cops routinely rape people in their custody.
So SHUT THE FUCK UP trying to make us think that you will protect us from rape when YOU (the whole stupid male-dominated government) ARE THE ONES RAPING US.
I rely on NO fucking authority to protect me. Guess what, Amazon and Wish sell cheap as fuck knives. If a man won't respect "no" then he'll learn to fucking respect my right to choose whether or not to gut him for putting his hands on me.

Shared from Start: As COVID-19 cases rise and US death toll tops 1 million, Biden says Americans 'must not grow numb'
One million killed, millions more sickened, and countless millions grieving the loss of loved ones. All because an incompetent, self-obsessed Republican "President" thought only of himself. Republicans who sat silently complicit were accomplices to mass murder of innocent people. Trump and the Republican party showed the entire world that they care absolutely nothing about Americans. File criminal charges against them for Criminal Negligence, Reckless Endangerment, Dereliction of Duty for ignoring their sworn Oath of Office, and Voluntary Manslaughter. All of them should be facing life sentences behind bars.

Trump Rushed to Reopen America. Now Covid is Closing in on Him
Donald Trump said last Thursday’s jobs report, which showed an uptick in June, proves the economy is “roaring back”.
Rubbish. The Labor Department gathered the data during the week of June 12, when America was reporting 25,000 new cases of Covid-19 per day. By the time the report was issued last week, that figure was 55,000.
The economy isn’t roaring back. Just over half of working-age Americans have jobs now, the lowest ratio in over 70 years. What’s roaring back is Covid-19. Until it’s tamed, the economy doesn’t stand a chance.
The surge in cases isn’t because America is doing more tests for the virus, as Trump contends. Cases are rising even where testing is declining. In Wisconsin, cases soared 28% over the past two weeks, as the number of tests decreased by 14%. Hospitals in Texas, Florida and Arizona are filling up with Covid-19 patients. Deaths are expected to resume their gruesome ascent.
The surge is occurring because America reopened before Covid-19 was contained.
Trump was so intent on having a good economy by Election Day that he resisted doing what was necessary to contain the virus. He left everything to governors and local officials, then warned that the “cure” of closing the economy was “worse than the disease.” Trump even called on citizens to “liberate” their states from public health restrictions.
Yet he still has no national plan for testing, contact tracing and isolating people with infections. Trump won’t even ask Americans to wear masks. Last week, Democrats accused him of sitting on nearly $14 billion in funds for testing and contact tracing that Congress appropriated in April.
It would be one thing if every other rich nation in the world botched it as badly as has America. But even Italy – not always known for the effectiveness of its leaders or the pliability of its citizens – has contained the virus and is reopening without a resurgence.
There was never a conflict between containing Covid-19 and getting the economy back on track. The first was always a prerequisite to the second. By doing nothing to contain the virus, Trump has not only caused tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths but put the economy into a stall.
The uptick in jobs in June was due almost entirely to the hasty reopening, which is now being reversed.
Arizona’s Republican governor, Doug Ducey initially refused to order masks and even barred local officials from doing so. Last week he closed all gyms, bars and movie theaters. The governors of Florida, Texas and California have also reimposed restrictions. Officials in Florida’s Miami-Dade county recently approved reopening of movie theaters, arcades, casinos, concert halls, bowling halls and adult entertainment venues. They have now re-closed them.
And so on across America. A vast re-closing is underway, as haphazard as was the reopening. In the biggest public health emergency in US history, in which nearly 130,000 have already lost their lives, still no one is in charge.
Brace yourself. Not only will the virus take many more lives in the months ahead, but millions of Americans are in danger of becoming destitute. Extra unemployment benefits enacted by Congress in March are set to end July 31. About one in five people in renter households are at risk of eviction by September 30. Delinquency rates on mortgages have more than doubled since March.
An estimated 25 million Americans have lost or will lose employer-provided health insurance. America’s fragile childcare system is in danger of collapse, with the result that hundreds of thousands of working parents will not be able to return to work even if jobs are available.
What is Trump and the GOP’s response to this looming catastrophe? Nothing. Senate Republicans are trying to ram through a $740 billion defense bill while ignoring legislation to provide housing and food relief.
They are refusing to extend extra unemployment benefits beyond July, saying the benefits are keeping Americans from returning to work. In reality, it’s the lack of jobs.
Trump has done one thing, though. He’s asked the Supreme Court to strike down the Affordable Care Act. If the court agrees, it will end health insurance for 23 million more Americans and give the richest 0.1% a tax cut of about $198,000 a year.
This is sheer lunacy. The priority must be to get control over this pandemic and help Americans survive it, physically and financially. Anything less is morally indefensible.
