Transiting Venus enters Leo
Thursday, July 11 - Sunday, August 4, 2024
Hot girl summer up here, north of the equator - I guess south of it, the days are warmed by Venusâ rays?
This transit, like summerâs lease, hath all too short a date - it really is (or can be) a fun time. We donât quite take things so seriously, weâre a little more forgiving of others and ourselves. How it plays out through Venusâs areas:
Art - tending for the performing arts here, dance and drama as well as music. We can get very creative, maybe expressing ourselves a little more openly and honestly than usual. If we want to try something new, this encourages us.
Beauty - fun, spa-type treatments during which we are royally pampered. If Venus aspects your Ascendant or its ruler, this is an excellent time for a makeover.
Love - oh, Venus here loves, all right. We behold our loved one(s) and literally light up. Weâre lavish with them; we canât do enough to show the strength of our ardor. (Downside: we canât always accept that other people get to exercise free will, too, ie, nobody has to love us back.)
Money - can be an utter tightwad and miser; also can joyously piss away every last penny for one momentâs pleasure. Weâre inclined to spend on luxury items, and to make sure everyone is having a good time.
Weâre starting and ending the transit with challenges from two of the transpersonal planets - all three, if I were to add Neptune (an inconjunct on August 4, maturing about seven hours before Venus enters Virgo). Remember what I wrote about other people having free will, too? I think thatâs going to be a theme. Anyway, the following aspects are valid a day or so on either side.
Friday, July 12 - Venus/Leo opposite Pluto Rx/Aquarius, 1°07â. Weâre rebuffed, rejected, &/or refused. Or, weâre trying like hell to rebuff/reject/refuse someone who wonât take ânoâ for an answer. Someone else (itâs an opposition) thinks we need to be taken down a peg, or we make that call about someone else. Issues about authenticity and honesty.
Friday, July 19 - Venus/Leo trine North Node/Aries, sextile South Node/Libra, 10°14â. This can be a teaching moment during which we discover that being direct and honest can be just as effective as being manipulative and passive-aggressive. We could charm our way into something, but we could also be a little bolder and more open. And speaking of charmâŠ.
Sunday, July 21 - Venus/Leo sextile Jupiter/Gemini, 12°30â. The two âbeneficsâ flowing together can be very lucky. Itâs a sextile, so we need to actively do something about/with the good fortune.
Tuesday, July 23 - Venus/Leo conjunct Vesta/Leo, 15°10â. Adds a bit of dedication and devotion to Venus. Might be to an artistic project as well as to a person. We can also work on loving ourselves!
Sunday, July 28 - Venus/Leo square Pallas/Scorpio, 20°57â. Hang-ups and blockages in sexuality and intimacy. Are we coming on too strong? Tension between a creative project and a relationship is another potential manifestation.
Tuesday, July 30 - Venus/Leo trine Chiron Rx/Aries, 23°31â. Great energy for apologizing, and really meaning it. And for forgiving others, too. Make-up sex. Deliberately doing something fun that heals by making us feel happy.
Thursday, August 1 - Venus/Leo trine Eris Rx/Aries, 25°29â. Womenâs rights! This is another aspect that encourages us to be honest and authentic. Itâs still disruptive, but in a fun way.
Friday, August 2 - Venus/Leo square Uranus/Taurus, 26°51â. About this aspect, astrologer Steven Forrest wrote, âLove and trust should enhance our freedom rather than diminishing it.â To which I add, for both partners equally! Not everyone is going to love us back the way we want them to - and if we keep âpickingâ people who donât, we need to ask ourselves if we really want any relationships in the first place.
And since I mentioned it:
Sunday, August 4 - Venus/Leo inconjunct Neptune Rx/Pisces, 29°38â. Adjustments needing to be made - maybe taking off the rose-colored glasses and seeing reality? Disillusionment. A reminder (a nudge) from our spiritual sides.

loving all this strike action while pluto is stuck in retrograde at the anaretic degree of capricorn sometimes it really is too uncanny
#and while venus is stationing retrograde at 28° leo!!#forming an inconjunct between leo venus and capricorn pluto damn#capricorn representing of course overarching structures and power#pluto associated with wealth and exchange of power and transformation#venus the planet intrinsically involved with social relations#and in the sign of leo which also governs authority but also self expression#self expression such as the expression of ones needs falls under here in my interpretation#which actually side note that makes sense? never made that connection#moon being the nurturer and intuitively understanding others needs vs sun being the expression of ones needs#hence why sun can have a reputation for being self centered#anyway also#retrogrades are times of review#i think chris brennan mentioned that venus retrograde in leo has previously brought about political changes#gay marriage legalization was one such#(in the us specifically but i think a number of other countries too but icr which ones)#idk this is just fun and cool to witness and make the connection!#if anything it implies that this is THE time to be engaging in strike activities#hoping that itll actually bring about positive changes before pluto moves back into aquarius and startd dealing w other themes#capricorn is the economy sign pluto entered cap in 2008 aka when the big recession hit#i hope the astrology podcast mentions all the strike activity next time they talk about transits im curious to know more#neptune and saturn are also retrograde in pisces and neptune is sextile pluto + inconj venus so theres a yod too#which puts a looot of pressure on venus#oh and cant forget the square to uranus which will become exact twice during the retrograde cycle so that might be interesting#astrology#dargonpoops#sorry the special interest kicked in#lots of connections to be made and analyzed

astro notes: taurus season focus
Taurus season begins with the sun entering Taurus as Jupiter and Uranus align, promising an auspicious start. After a period of eclipses and Mercury retrograde, there's a chance to cultivate peace and presence. Venus in Aries before April 30 adds urgency to desires, but when it moves into Taurus, a sweeter, more attuned phase begins. The sun's crossing of Jupiter and Uranus' alignment on May 11/12 suggests reactivation of opportunities from the conjunction, potentially leading to confidence-building breakthroughs.
đ„Aries Rising (Taurus 2nd House): Focus on finances and material possessions. It's a good time to review your budget and financial goals. You may feel a stronger need for security and comfort, leading to practical spending and saving habits.
đ±Taurus Rising (Taurus 1st House): This transit highlights your self-image and personal goals. It's a great time for self-care and setting new intentions. You may feel more confident and grounded, attracting positive attention from others.
đŹGemini Rising (Taurus 12th House): A period of introspection and reflection. You may feel more inclined to spend time alone or engage in spiritual practices. Pay attention to your dreams and subconscious thoughts, as they may reveal important insights.
đŠCancer Rising (Taurus 11th House): Focus on your social life and connections. You may feel more drawn to spending time with friends and participating in group activities. This is a good time to network and collaborate with others towards common goals.
đŠLeo Rising (Taurus 10th House): Career and public image take the spotlight. You may receive recognition for your hard work or feel motivated to pursue new career opportunities. Focus on long-term goals and how you can achieve them.
đŸVirgo Rising (Taurus 9th House): This transit highlights education, travel, and philosophical pursuits. You may feel a strong desire to expand your horizons through learning or exploring new cultures. It's a good time to plan a trip or enroll in a course.
âïžLibra Rising (Taurus 8th House): Focus on shared resources and deep transformations. You may need to review your finances, particularly those shared with others. This is also a good time to delve into your psyche and address any emotional issues.
đŠScorpio Rising (Taurus 7th House): Relationships and partnerships come into focus. You may feel more committed to your existing relationships or seek to establish new ones. It's a good time to work on communication and compromise in your relationships.
đčSagittarius Rising (Taurus 6th House): Health and daily routines take center stage. You may feel motivated to improve your physical well-being through diet, exercise, or other health practices. Focus on creating a balanced and sustainable routine.
đCapricorn Rising (Taurus 5th House): This transit highlights creativity, romance, and self-expression. You may feel more inspired to pursue artistic or creative projects. It's also a good time to enjoy leisure activities and spend time with loved ones.
âĄïžAquarius Rising (Taurus 4th House): Focus on home, family, and emotional security. You may feel a stronger need to create a peaceful and comfortable environment at home. This is a good time to connect with your family and address any domestic issues.
đ Pisces Rising (Taurus 3rd House): This transit highlights communication, learning, and short trips. You may feel more inclined to engage in conversations and share your ideas with others. It's a good time to expand your knowledge through reading or attending workshops.

Uyu's Astro Observations IV
Some observations are +18
áŻâ
Do I have playlists for every mood ever or do I just have Leo placements?
áŻâ
Boda conjunct Boda in Solar Return Synastry... you are either getting proposed or getting married lol.
áŻâ
Vertex is so important in any chart, look at it always please!
áŻâ
I was wondering why people found Jack Harlow so attractive with the way he talks, and I found out he has 3H Leo lol! True rizz placement.
áŻâ
Erda (894) is an asteroid that tells you about your past life. So Erda conjunct Erda in synastry means you were def in each other's past life and played an important role towards each other.
áŻâ
I'm studying Transits these days, and the day I met my FS, I had North Node in 7H, he had Sun, Mercury and Venus in his 5H. His Groom was also conjuncting his DSC. My Moon was also exactly conjuncting my IC.
áŻâ
Boda in 7H synastry: Boda person could want to marry 7H person and is most likely to propose in the future.
áŻâ
Also, Jack Harlow has Ceres conjunct Mercury, this could explain also why he is so smooth with the way he speaks to people.
áŻâ
Sun in 7H in Solar Return Synastry means this person wants to marry 7H person, and may realize it this year, or propose. If Saturn is also there, something is blocking this union, and this person may see obstacles.
áŻâ
Your Neptune & Venus falling in another person's 11H in Solar Return Synastry means you are stalking their social medias a lot this year because you have crush lol.
áŻâ
If your Neptune & Venus fall in your person's 8H, you are obsessed with them, you can't stop thinking about them and fantasizing about them either. Might also stalk.
áŻâ
Mars in 1H synastry... Mars person wants to do 1H person so bad.
áŻâ
If you have Boda falling in another person's 3H in Solar Return Synastry, you might propose to them this year. Or you will want to.
áŻâ
Vertex conjuncts Vertex in Solar Return Synastry means something will happen this year between you two that will change your life forever. The themes are the houses where the Vertex are. For ex: 5H for both means you can enter in a relationship, or get engaged, or have a baby...
áŻâ
The year I wasn't working, I had Saturn 10H in Solar Return.
áŻâ
In the same Solar Return, I had Moon Scorpio 20°, I was depressed, I did tons of tattoos and dressed in black every time. I was looking very cold and detached too.
áŻâ
This Solar Return I met my FS, Groom conjuncted Vertex this year.
áŻâ
Also, Groom conjuncted Vertex in the 6H, and this meeting forced me to realize my toxic patterns and heal myself. It was the start of a healing journey.
áŻâ
Any years I had a toxic relationship, I always had Venus 8H in my SRC.
áŻâ
Gemini Moon in 8H is an insane placement, people like that can really get in dark places when they overthink or are depressed. Their mind can be scary for other people. But those people need the most help in the end.
áŻâ
While Vertex 5H means you want and will have children, Chiron in 5H means you are scared to have children, some traumas will prevent you from having some.
áŻâ
Juno/ Groom/ Briede conjunct Jupiter means your FS will make you very happy, and cheer you up. They will bring you sunshine. You will feel more lucky after marriage.
áŻâ
Juno/ Groom/ Briede conjunct Pluto means they will totally transform your life. If it is in the 6H, it means this person will heal you, despite that it can be scary for you.
áŻâ
Vertex PC will tell you way more about your destiny. Check it to see the whole ride.
áŻâ
Asteroid Kreusa (488) can mean where you escape in life, how you escape, and what you abandoned, what abandoned you. It's a theory of mine since the asteroid never had an observation before. I checked it for me and my friends and it is in fact a verified theory! Give credits for @uyuforu on this one please!
áŻâ
I noticed my MC PC and Briede PC looks very much the same, and I have Sun & Mercury Capricorn in my Briede PC, I'm gonna be the leader in that marriage lmao.
áŻâ
In my Boda PC, Part of Fortune conjunct Union, meaning a lucky marriage that will make both of us happy.
áŻâ
I also have DNA asteroid (55555) in my 7H in my Boda PC, there are high chance to be pregnant when I marry...
áŻâ
Moreover, my FS has Vertex 5H in his Boda PC, so the child theory for the wedding can be very true lol...
áŻâ
In the Child PC, my FS has a stellium in 7H and Boda is inside of it ;-;
áŻâ
If we continue on the child theory, my FS has DNA asteroid in his 7H of Groom PC, he also has Juno and Vertex there, so it's reassuring lol!
áŻâ
Juno 7H in Groom/ or Briede PC means you marry your destined person. My FS has Juno 7H in his Groom PC, and I have Juno 7H in my Briede PC. We will both think we married "the one".
áŻâ
Saturn in 10H transits is a hard time to find a job... or to get a promotion.
áŻâ
Last thing about Jack Harlow: he kept saying he wants 8 children, so I checked his chart. Vertex 5H lmao, am I shocked?
áŻâ
I lied, it wasn't the last thing about Jack. He also said he was into sweet girls. I am not shocked, he has Briede Cancer. He will def marry a sweet girl.

Astrology observations đ€đ«đ€
Credit goes to @astroismypassion
đ€ Scorpio Juno often regrets losing virginity before entering marriage. The wish they would have lose it in a more meaningful way with a meaningful partner, their spouse.
đ« Libra Chiron might have been shamed by others for losing virginity before marriage.
ïżœïżœïżœ Women who have Mars in the 12th house often get âthe bachelorâ, that one man a lot of women wished to marry. If Mars sign is Cancer, it also indicates a lot of hate coming from women because of that.
đ«Venus Conjunct Pluto in a Natal chart: You can be obsessive in love. You have cycles in your partnerships. Your partners have a tendency to come back to you even after you spent years apart. They always seem to return. You transform your lovers.
đ€ The sign of your Vertex shows the Sun sign of the person that will have a role in your awakening. One celebrity example is: Prince Harry has Leo Vertex and his wife Meghan is Leo Sun. Being in the 7th house, you will likely have this awakening while in partnership, marriage or through being a part of a team.
đ« 4th house shows the father in a womanâs natal chart. 10th house shows the mother in a womanâs natal chart. So itâs just reversed for women.
But in a manâs chart 4th house is the mother. 4th house shows the mother in a manâs natal chart. And 10th house shows the father in a manâs natal chart.
đ€ Iâve noticed a lot of Capricorn Rising people tend to attract, be in relationship or even marry a person who is older than them. Which I still donât fully understand how and why with Cancer over their Descendant. It would make more sense to marry younger, but this is often not what I observed.
đ«In Synastry chart your Sun in someone's 5th house: You might dream of having children together or you could be good at it. You see each other as your personal vacation. You might enjoy doing hobbies together. You share similar interests. You might be more romantic with each other than you are with other people. You could go or have really extravagant dates. You might go all out when you are together, because you want to impress each other. You will compliment each other a lot and these compliments will come very naturally to you. You will want to praise each other. You will feel like you are a star, a celebrity when around each other. You will feel like their spotlight is on you as well.
đ€ I noticed people who have Ceres in the 3rd house, their love language is not that often words of affirmation, but more so just âšhand holdingâš.
đ«Venus Conjunct Uranus in a Natal chart: You could be a part of love triangle at some point so be mindful. You could have a friend to lovers transition. Or a lot of your acquaintances have a crush on you. You might have a long-distance relationship at some point. You could also not see your partner due to the fact that their job might keep them away, like they could be a pilot and you donât see them for 3 months. You might like quirky, eccentric and unconventional lovers. You go for the weirdo in the room that seems really interesting. You value communication the most in your relationship.
đ€ If your Mars is in the 5th house, you might particularly care for disadvantaged children, those who lack school supplies could be one example.
đ«In Synastry chart Moon in someone's 8th house: You might have sexual awakening with this person. Before one of you or both might have considered yourself aromantic or even asexual, but with this person you will feel awakened. You will feel passion, lust and desire. You will just want them. You might be quick to merge your finance, living situation or even become physical. With this overlay, I suggest getting physical as late as possible, try to prolonge it and donât give into desire too soon. Because as soon as you merge with this person, obsession, jealous and being territorial might begin. You will experience power struggles, but also understanding on an emotional, physical and mental level like never before. You might have sex dreams about this person, a lot of sexual fantasies (and vice versa of course). Itâs an intense, strong bond, but a lot of times unbreakable. You could become too easily dependent on each other and learn to nurture your own individuality and have your own individual lives as well. You will mirror each other a lot. You will challenge each other and learn your mistakes, short-comings. You might be a bit unwilling to change. One might change a lot (8th house person especially), but you will feel like the other person is always the same. But this will not be true, Moon person will go through psychological, inner changes, while you (house person) might change in your actions, outlook on life. You will know each otherâs desires, secrets and fears with time. But at first there might be a lot of frustrations, miscommunication and misunderstandings. You might be very vulnerable around each other. You could feel like the other person see right through you. You could feel like are naked in front of each other.
đ€Mars trine Pluto in a Composite chart: This is an intense, but magnetic connection. You enjoy working from the background. You are subtle. Others can sense tension around you, even if just sexual. You might have power struggles and ego death. You also feel like you need to one up each other. You might have tit for tat behaviour towards each other at some point. You feel vulnerable with this person. You think this person sees right through you. You feel like you can hide from this person, they always find you. You feel easily rejected or ignored by this person.
đ«Eros Persona chart: Sun indicates where your pride lies in your sexual desires and intimacy, itâs your basic sexual identity. Moon indicates what traits partner have to have for you to be comfortable with them. Mars indicates how you behave when aroused, what you feel energized by in intimacy and where you are likely spontaneous. North Node indicates the general direction of your sexual desire, what you are meant to learn, who you will likely encounter in life that you will be sexually involved with.
đ€2nd house shows which brands and designers you buy clothes from. It literally shows which brands, designers and people you "give money to" when you buy their clothing. If you have Moon in the 2nd house or even Cancer Venus you could be a fan of Hugo Boss (Cancer Sun) brand. If you have Venus in the 2nd house, Taurus over the 2nd house or Taurus/Libra Venus you might be Fred Perry (Taurus Sun) or Ralph Lauren (Libra Sun) fan. You might like Tommy Hilfiger (Aries Sun) brand if you have Aries Venus or Mars in the 2nd house.
đ«Capricorn Midheaven in Eros Persona chart: Your sexual partner with time will see you as someone who enjoys control or is controlling. As someone who is like a parental figure to them almost. And you will be seen as serious, mature, detached, impatient, reckless and bold. You will be respected. You could enjoy power plays in sex. You will focus more on reality rather than fantasy. You could be seen as less romantic, but your love and sexual attraction are astounding.
đ€Venus trine Jupiter in the Synastry chart: You are generous with one another, always ready to help each other, and you have a great respect and appreciation for one another. You also allow one another a lot of freedom to develop other friendships, rather than clinging possessively to one another. You may also benefit from one another materially as well as emotionally.
đ«Venus in the other's 10th house in a Synastry chart: Both like to be seen in public together. You might enjoy present this person to your parents. If this is a romantic situation, you might be a slow burn. You will take time to get to know this person and to introduce them to your parents. You want to see this person in your future as well. You see this person has a potential for a long-term connection.
đ€Sun conjunct Uranus in a Synastry chart: You inspire each other to try new things, experiment, and investigate alternatives. You may have met each other, for example, during a time period when both of you were breaking free from traditional values and exploring new possibilities. There is a lot of excitement and spontaneity in your relationship. The two of you may find it difficult to settle down into a stable home. There will always be surprises and unexpected turns in your relationship. You encounter lots of new ideas, unusual people, adventure, and exciting times together. You both enjoy a good measure of freedom and independence in this relationship, but either of you may wish that there was more commitment, devotion, seriousness, warmth, and closeness.
đ«In Midheaven Persona chart Juno shows traits of ideal people that you would like to connect with at your workplace. Vesta shows your »sacred fire« what you will feel overprotective about at your job or about your job, career and reputation. Lilith indicates people in your workplace that you can have power struggles with, because you will feel like they donât want to cooperate or you canât âtameâ them. Vertex shows where you will encounter fated relationships in your career or at your job. Those relationships that will make you think like it was meant to meet them. It might also indicate people that you will likely âcommitâ to in a way that youâll become great work friends.
đ€In Synastry chart one's Venus conjunct the other's Sun: The warmth, appreciation, admiration and love between you is very strong and you enjoy a high degree of harmony and congeniality in your relationship. You have much in common in terms of styles, tastes, and enjoyment of the same pleasures. In many ways Sun person embodies all that Venus person finds attractive and beautiful and Venus person also makes a special effort to please the Sun person. So Sun person responds with much generosity, love, and loyalty. An excellent match!
đ«Mars trine Saturn in a Natal chart: You could like and prefer older people. You might often be the group leader. You might have tension with authority figures. You could also be a bit impatient, especially before first Saturn Return (so before the age of 30). But you will learn patience with time. You could be a late bloomer.
đ€ In Synastry chart someone's Sun trine your Saturn: Saturn person is very dedicated and loyal to Sun person, with a strong desire to fulfill the responsibilities and demands of this relationship. Saturn person is willing to go the extra mile and make sacrifices without complaining, for the benefit of the Sun person and the relationship. Sun person is encouraging and supportive of Saturn, inspiring a sense of security and well-being. If the two of you engage in business activities or marry, you will find that you work well together on meeting the problems that arise and you can count on each other to be responsible and trustworthy. There is a deep sense of mutual commitment and dedication that holds your relationship together, even when you go through difficult times together.

tw sexual abuse & diddy
diddy getting outed & raided with the tuesday eclipse on his north node⊠with his tattoo of ezili dantor on his back. the loa of tuesdays and the protector of women & children. & heâs an avid sexual abuser of women & children.
the back is associated with leo/libra. leo is children, libra/venus is justice. and the back/unseen part of things is ruled by saturn, which is the planet of karmic distribution. tattoos are martian, the planet of protection.
itâs divine timing. bc what the hell was that man thinking. i applaud whatever diviner encouraged his ass to get EZILI DANTOR of ALL loa permanently etched into his skin, because his abuses of children & women will follow him forever.
heâs currently in his seventh house year, the seventh house year is a year dealing with others, fairness, & balance. imo, itâs a karmic house since the seventh is a reflection of the self. what u put out is reflected back to u. heâs also about to enter his eighth house year, the house of inactivity, psychological illness, debts (including karmic).
his mars is also in capricorn at the 29°, which is a universally critical degree. it can show domineering, thoughtlessness, lack of control, impulsiveness, etc.
thereâs no confirmation on his ascendant, but iâve seen people suggest cancer ascendant (with a virgo moon & scorpio sun). that would mean that:
but i could totally see a 10h lord in the 7h, because it shows status is tied to relationships / justice / fairness
i also see charts floating around suggesting that heâs a capricorn ascendant, which i also think makes sense because of:
a first house mars
a 10H in libra shows that the public image is tied to fairness, grace, harmony, & relationships especially to women
my partner was like âmaybe a sag rising,â mind u⊠my partner not an astrologer but they are super intuitive with that 3h scorpio moon so i considered it & lowkeyâŠ
pisces eclipse illuminating the 4th would mean that all of the illusions revolving around his private life are dug up. the 4h is the subterranean, itâs the least visible house imo
2h mars in capricorn @ the anaretic degree can show a thirst for power, but the 2h is the gate of hades. it leads to demise (the 8h)
8h lord would be in the 10h, which would show this hidden misdeeds becoming publicized preceding the eclipse in his 4h, since the natal 4h lord would be the eclipsing pisces moon. hope that made sense lol
i often see pisces rising speculation. which, i also could understand because:
this recent full moon lunar eclipse conj his north node illuminated & essentially âexposedâ his heart/spirit/soul. it also exposed the qualities of the greedy, obsessive, manipulative north node
& this isnât to say all nodal people are this way. but when u donât know how to moderate the greedy & obsessive nature of the north node, its malefic qualities will overtake the self
pisces ascendants tend to not really be âseenâ, especially with the lord in the unseen 8H. but again the eclipse illuminated this & just how corrupted his moral compass is
the other end of the eclipse would be in his 7H, the house of justice, which would have his moon conj the transit sun
lastly i can see aries rising because the eclipse in the twelfth exposes the consequences and results of self-undoing. itâs also the house of prisons.
anyway. just my theories. i stand in solidarity with all abuse victims of the world, & it feels good to see them get justice because a win for one is a win for all. AsĂš
here are some aid resources for marginalized abuse victims, please consider donating or reblogging!
Black Trans Femme SA/Abuse Victim. this gfm hasnât moved in 5 months!
Black Childhood SA Victim. this gfm has been up since april & hasnât gotten a single donation!
Aid for Haiti.
Aid for First Nations/American Indigenous People (Salt Lake).
Aid for Gaza. every day, isntrealis abuse Gazans (in a lot of ways, not just sexually). please consider helping them thru providing healthcare & aid
Aid for Sudan. refugees often experience higher rates of trafficking, rape, & violence. please consider donating!
Aid for DR Congolese Women/Children. consider giving aid to women/childre who are being forced into slavery & the exploitative sex trade.
Aid for Sex Workers. thru whorephobia, misogyny, & other forms of marginalization, the violence towards sex workers is enabled due to the âless deadâ theory.
Support for SA/Rape/Trafficking Victims.
Consider donating to abortion funds such as AidAccess, INeedAnA, etc so that people (including rape victims) have autonomy over their reproduction.
avoid red cross. u can always scroll thru gfm & just search up keywords then just go through and donate $5+ to each one until u canât no more. that way, u directly provide aid.
also, help the people within ur physical community. if u know any black, native, palestinian, trans, disabled etc women, be the community they are so often denied.
power 2 da people :)

Energy Update: Mercury Retrograde, August 2024
Starting on August 5th, Mercury enters retrograde 3/4 of 2024. The retrograde runs from 04° Virgo to 21° Leo and makes thrice repeating trines with our Wounded Healer Chiron in Aries and squares to Uranus in Taurus. Retrograde Mercury will also conjunct the Sun and Venus once (as it does most retrograde cycles) and sextile Mars in Gemini once, as well.
The Basics
Mercury, our planet of communication, technology, and travel, is the fastest-moving planet in our solar system and retrogrades 3 to 4 times every year. This means that Mercuryâs retrograde cycle is âbusiness as usualâ and isnât something that should be feared but it is a change in the energy signature of one of our personal planets, so itâs worth paying attention and making adjustments where necessary.
Retrogrades donât mean that the planet ACTUALLY is moving backward, of course. It is a perspective shift in our perception of the planetary movement through our skies. In this way, our perspectives and perceptions can get a bit twisted during these times and it is easy to miss key details or communicate ineffectively.
During Mercuryâs retrograde, Mercury traces its path backward in our skies and it is considered better to go over your work rather than start something new. Mercury passes over these degrees in the sky thrice: the first time during its pre-retrograde shadow, the second time while it moves backward during its retrograde, and again a third time while it moves forward in its post-retrograde shadow. Because of this, we all get the cosmic opportunity to relearn and refocus on certain things that are going awry in our lives.
By looking at the degrees of Mercuryâs retrograde and comparing it to your birth chart, you can understand how Mercuryâs retrograde cycle might affect you. If you donât want to do this yourself, you can always purchase a Mercury retrograde transit chart from me on Kofi.
Mercury retrogrades affect some people more than others. By order of significance, these people are most likely to be affected by a Mercury retrograde:
If you have Sun, Moon, Ascendant in Gemini and Virgo, or Mercury closely conjunct (within 2°) to your Sun, Moon, or Ascendant
If your natal Mercury was in retrograde or out of bounds
If the current retrograde crosses over your Sun, Moon, or Ascendant (in conjunction) or makes a square or opposition
If the current retrograde crosses over your Mercury, Venus, or Mars or makes a square or opposition with them
If the current retrograde makes a trine with one of your personal planets or a sextile to your Sun, Moon, or Ascendant
If you work in a job that involves technology, communication, or travel or are currently undergoing a task that involves one of these domains during this retrograde cycle
If you live with, are in a relationship with, or closely work with a person who meets the above criteria
One can assume that the more of these factors in play, the stronger you may experience the effects of a Mercury retrograde cycle. This isnât to say that what you experience will be bad or wrong â some people experience a lot of freedom from Mercuryâs journey. The more open you are willing to give up control and stay open to the ever-changing landscape of a Mercury cycle, the easier it will be.
The Nitty Gritty
Now that weâve gone over the basics letâs take a look at the specifics of THIS Mercury retrograde cycle. Mercury will retrograde backward from 04° Virgo to 21° Leo. This puts the stressors of this retrograde on the early mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) and late fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius). The switchover from Fixed to Mutable signs can be viewed as the energy of relaxation, both of effort and intent. Itâs important that we need both types of energy in our lives (both fixed/controlled and mutable/relaxed); this retrograde cycle is likely to bring up issues of imbalance between these two differing energy signatures. You may find yourself stuck on one side of this equation (all relaxed and unable to accomplish anything or all fixed and unable to stand down).
Mercury will interact with all of our other personal planets (the Sun, Moon, and Venus through conjunction and Mars in sextiles), which shows that this retrograde will take on a more personal nature. Although we experience Mercuryâs retrogrades 3-4 times a year, not all of them pack as much punch as others. This Mercury cycle will be inside our homes and likely impact our daily lives and our interactions with our Others.
Additionally, Mercury will make three trines to Chiron in Aries (sitting on top of that touchy point from our total solar eclipse back in April) and three squares to Uranus in Taurus. Unlike our personal planet aspects, these donât influence our personal lives as directly, but they will impact the general energy of the world at large, which sometimes can trickle into our personal lives. [Note here that if you have personal planets that interact in aspect with these Mercury-Uranus and Mercury-Chiron moments, this may impact you personally.]
Letâs start with Chiron because itâs the energy weâve already stewed in. Chiron isnât one of the planets but an asteroid that has caught the interest of many astrologers in recent years. Often called the Wounded Healer, it represents a pain point or an unhealed wound. Back in April, we experienced a Mercury retrograde that coincided with our eclipse season, and during the total solar eclipse, the Sun was conjunct with both Mercury and Chiron. This was a whopper of a day that many people are still reeling from. Although Chiron has kept moving, it is still only 4° from this fate-filled spot. That means that, to a greater or lesser degree, each connection between Mercury and Chiron is another chance for us to revisit this energy.
âRevisit,â being one of the big reâs, is one of the keywords to understanding Mercury retrograde lessons. We are being given a chance to revisit, revise, rework, and reimagine. With Chiron involved, itâs likely to hurt (at least at first). It may feel like too much. But its worth remembering that Chiron isnât something that happens TO you, it is considered to be a force of strong healing energy working FOR you.
Itâs also worth remembering that Mercury will pass over this point with Chiron three times: once in forward motion during its pre-retrograde shadow, a second while moving backward in retrograde, and a third time in forward motion during its post-retrograde shadow.
Newsflash: you donât have to get it right the first time through.
A common metaphor for imagining retrograde cycles is as a lesson or âholeâ in the ground with which we must fall in/pass over/encounter trice to gain the full experience of the situation.
The story unfolds something like this:
Oh, thereâs a hole in the ground! I fell into it because I didnât know that it was there. Itâs not my fault. (pre-retrograde shadow phase)
Oh, thereâs a hole in the ground. I fell into it again. I did know it was thereâŠmaybe I should learn to avoid this hole? (retrograde phase)
And, if all goes well: Oh hey, thatâs a hole in the ground! Itâs the same hole I fell into before. I know how to walk around this now. (post-retrograde phase)
If the solar eclipse in April passed by uneventfully, you may find that this Mercury-Chiron set of trines also does. If the eclipse was especially difficult, consider this a chance to gain better insight into what happened and why. We can re-frame these transits to be for our own good by being open to the experiences of Mercuryâs underworld journeys.
Lastly, we should discuss Mercury square Uranus. Mercury and Uranus have a lot in commonâthey both involve and control our brain processes to a certain point. If Mercury is the thinking brain, Uranus can be viewed as pure inspiration. Mercury is quick-moving and changeable; Uranus is slow-moving but enacts drastic and lasting change. Many modern astrologers view Uranus as the higher octave of Mercurial energy; it is Mercuryâs energy infused with the beyond.
For the most part, Uranusâs energy simply happens to us. It is the lightning bolt in the Tower card, the hurricane that washes away a whole floodplain, or the volcano that awakens to bring destruction and rebirth. What I mean by this is that it is so far beyond us that it can often feel catastrophic, but â like the eclipses â Uranus has a way of blowing open opportunities that we couldnât even have imagined. We are all stuck little humans who donât like to change our own lives and sometimes something beyond us seems to reach down and make that change FOR us so that we are forced to move.
We donât get a choice in what happens to us in situations like this, but we do get a choice in how we respond.
Two out of these three Mercury square Uranus days are full moons, which puts extra emphasis on their energy signatures. On one of these two days (8/19), the Sun in Leo will be conjunct to Mercury and also square to Uranus in Taurus, making a fixed t-square in the sky. Of the three days, this is the one to watch out for and potentially lie low through. The other two dates are days to encourage divine inspiration if that is your thing.
Watch out for how you speak during these rough squares, as misunderstandings will run rampant, and tempers may be at an all-time low. Uranus is never a patient planet, but in Taurus, it can become a raging bull in about six seconds flat. Give yourself and your others as much grace as you can during this time. Shut your mouth entirely, perhaps, and work on listening (something Mercury in egoic Leo definitely can have a problem with at times).
Any time a retrograde bridges the cusp between signs, you can guess that we will need to dig deep into the differences between the two signs somehow. Virgo is our mutable earth sign, often concerned with work, perfectionism, and effort. Leo is our fixed fire sign, more likely to be the lazy lion basking in the sun while the gruntlings do the work. Remember here, there is no judgment on these energies: there is a time to do the work and a time to bask in the Sun. The problem comes into play when you only do one and not the other.
Standard Mercury retrograde warnings apply:
Technology tends to go a bit wonky, so save your work often and proofread twice before you hit send on an important document. Mercury retrograde is considered the ideal time to edit: reread, rewrite, rework. Travel will take twice as long and almost inevitably involve detoursâpack your patience and determination to enjoy the ride. If a person from your past shows up again, look into the unfinished business, but donât expect it to last past Mercury stations direct. Mercury is a trickster: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
All that glitters is never gold during Mercuryâs retrograde cycles, but Foolâs Gold can be its own reward.

week of october 6th, 2024
these are written predominantly for the *rising* signs but they are also intuitively "channeled" enough that they should work for any dominant energy you have! (try your sun if you don't know rising, or more advanced readers can try moon, anywhere you have a stellium, etc and see what works best for you!)
aries: your personal life and your professional life are on different schedules right now. what may seem like a setback is actually guiding you toward a better path.
taurus: expect your week to have a lot of romantic notes, but don't expect them to really pan out, at least not in the ways that would seem obvious. these vibes come in from some other realm and are not really quite of this world. just enjoy them while they are here.
gemini: jupiter is positively aspected in your sign by your ruling planet (in libra) as it goes retrograde. you may have one day or so that seems unlucky or particularly clumsy. yet these minor mishaps are somehow helping you to dodge a more sinister bullet.
cancerians: while pluto stations are not frequently cause for fanfare, this station direct at the very end of capricorn means pluto is about to (in november) move out of your 7th house of relationships/"the other" for the rest of your lifetime. pluto is always out there up to something, but it will be refreshing! between now and november, there may be a few last little death throes. or at least twitches. have patience and hang on.
leo: someone at the fringe of your circle can turn out to be unexpectedly a helpful person or even a lifesaver. this is not someone you know well, more like someone you know vaguely about, a friend of a friend (of a friend?) or a kindly mentor just entering your life around now. let them help you even if you know you can be independent.
virgo: let yourself have two big goals this week. first, have fun even if it seems to be in a manner that will meet with some social disapproval. you don't have to broadcast it. if it's within your own ethics, don't fear judgment. second, apparent setbacks in career or reputation are not as disastrous as you may initially fear, so try to stay calm and do whatever damage control you can. (these two points may or may not be connected.)
libra: when it rains you have options, right? stay inside and pout about it or dress appropriately and go about your life, for example. whatever happens this week isn't all about you, just like sometimes an inconvenient rain storm is needed for the flowers outside. draw on your resources to get through it and try to appreciate some facet of it.
scorpio: mercury makes an auspicious and spiritually lucrative trine to jupiter before joining charming venus in your sign. this week people may see you as quite human. later they see you as powerfully enchanting.
sagittarius: in a few days your ruling planet jupiter goes retrograde in your opposite sign. while overall the retrograde just slightly mutes jovial effects and turns them inward, the day of the station (see the transit posts for more) can be a bit hectic in your relationships/partnerships.
capricorn: this week is when pluto goes direct in your sign for the last time (effectively forever - no one now living will be around the next time it happens). this provides you with forward momentum if there is any system you need to take down and destroy, whether in order to rebuild it or because it needs to disappear forever.
aquarius: this is not exactly the best time for you to *have fun* per se, it is a bit more serious and better suited to work and deep thought. but this doesn't totally exclude a good time, as long as you are dedicated to things that really matter to you.
pisces: perhaps your home life and your social life are both undergoing changes. what you can rely on better at this time is the long game. build your reputation and your health.

Transiting Venus enters Leo (pre-retrograde zone)
Monday, June 5 - Monday, June 19, 2023
Spoiler alert: this isnât going to be off to a great start. Venus makes a bunch of very difficult aspects, as she begins her lengthy sojourn in Leo. So this is more a post of caveats, about all of Venusâ areas. All that glisters is not gold:
Art - we tend to go for flashy, performative pieces. Subtleties are lost on us. We get lazy about technique and may have to bluff our way through the piece.
Beauty - at times we witness the inappropriate cleavage or chest hair displays, and way too much makeup and hair product. Especially hair product - Leos and their manes, you know. We try to get attention through our looks, and if it doesnât work we try harder, inevitably with ridiculous results.
Love - really ardent and passionate, but not necessarily taking ânoâ for an answer, being very demonstrative in public but perhaps not in private - it can get performative here, too.
Money - if there is a common denominator to all the above, itâs the belief that ostentatiously spending a lot of money proves that you are better than others. Hmph.
Something I havenât done enough is to keep track of what aspects a transiting planet will make, to the other transiting planets. It gives us a good idea of the plot:
Monday, June 5 - Venus/Leo opposite Pluto Rx/Aquarius
Wednesday, June 7 - Venus/Leo square North Node/Taurus and South Node/Scorpio
Sunday, June 11 - Venus/Leo square Jupiter/Taurus
Tuesday, June 13 - Venus/Leo inconjunct Saturn/Pisces
Saturday, June 17 - Venus/Leo sextile Mercury/Gemini
A lot of drama, and an inability to cope with it or to be gracious about it in any way. We may not want to have to cope.
But if we can get over our own vanity, we can figure out what we need to work on during Venusâ upcoming Retrograde Zone. In The Book of Fire, Steven Forrest wrote that a positive use of Venus moving through Leo involves, âRevealing and underscoring the parts of your personality that are attractive in non-physical ways.â My hunch is that these first two weeks of Venus/Leo will show us the immediacy and urgency of that challenge.

my very VERY impromptu Trump-Kamala thoughts
I wanted to have a proper look at both of their charts and analyze them with respect to the elections and so I thought I'll share with you guys some notes that I'm making in my head.
So if you're not familliar with Trump's chart, he was (kinda famously among astrologers) born on a lunar eclipse in Sagittarius - his a Gemini Sun is conjunct Uranus and north node (which helps his leadership qualities) and Sagi Moon conjunct the north node (which brings misfortune to women around him⊠in one way or another). He also has Mars on his Leo ascendant, which just makes his Gemini self be even more yappy and arrogant know-it-all.
Currently he's in his Saturn profection year and I've talked about it in my previous post but his natal Saturn is in the 12th house of secrets, loss and succlusion. We still don't know what his felony conviction in September will be but what I will say is that Saturn, not only in the 12th but also on exile in Cancer is like double banishment - it's not only themes of being isolated because of the 12th but planets that are in the sign opposite to its domicile often act like rejection of some sorts - and it's either something that rejects you or that you reject yourself, depending on the topic involved.
On the election day, Jupiter will be right on top of his north node and Mars will barely enter his 1st house, giving him more energy and power (mind you that Mars will later retrograde back to his 12th!). Saturn will move away from t-squaring his luminaries but it will still quietly do its malefic job from his 8th house. What's also worth noting is that Uranus will still hover over his MC and square his Mars. So that disruptive energy will linger and Jupiter's influence over his planets might just blow it out of proportion even more.
Interestingly on November 5th we'll have two major transits: Venus opposite Jupiter and Mars opposite Pluto. This is a very strong push and pull and kind of like a battle of the feminine and masculine.
Kamala on the other hand, was also born during a lunation - she has Libra Sun directly opposite Aries Moon (feisty lady she is indeed!). So she's also a full Moon baby. Not an eclipse one but her nodes are just as prominent with the north node right on her Gemini ascendant - she's here to evolve and to do things for the people. And make silly remarks about coconuts Gemini-style.
There we have it guys, the battle of Geminis!
She's currently in her 12th house profection year, where her natal Jupiter is placed. Funnily, her Jupiter is where Uranus currently transits and where Trump has his MC - the Mars-Uranus conjunction surely affected her in a good way. Because she's a Libra, at the time of the elections she'll already be in her 1st house profection with Jupiter transiting her 1st, elevating her as a person. So both of them have support from the benefic.
The beginning of November will also be a notable Saturn transit for her with it opposing her Uranus, Pluto and Venus. As well as Pluto and Mars making a grand square to her luminaries (and to her ascendant ruler, Mercury!) This is a make or break kind of transit but will it give her enough clout and power to push through with the votes or will it bring her defeat?
What's worth noting with her is that soon she'll start having eclipses in the 4th-10th houses, which can bring changes in her living situation and career - but again, it's hard to really guess if that change means stepping down and leaving the White House or upgrading her status.
One thing that is for sure is that starting next year, the US will go into its Uranus return, which historically brought a lot of upheavals and wars every time so no matter who wins, shit will most probably go down.
My guess is that'll happen under potential Trump presidency - somehow he may be that trigger whether willingly or not or some other shocking stuff happens in the meantime and THAT will be the root of the american shitstorm???
Another interesting point is that on the inauguration day Sun will conjoin with Pluto - so we have the theme of forceful power and leadership or some other unpleasant things yet again. Venus will also just move past Saturn, which makes me think of the defeat of the feminine - OR maybe because Venus is exalted in Pisces this is the feminine stepping into authority and a moment of a metaphorical cease-fire and ease.

aquarius full moon 8/19
The Full Moon in Aquarius is a highly charged astrological event, marked by intense planetary configurations that bring both tension and opportunities for breakthrough. Occurring on a Monday, this Full Moon is central to a period of heightened activity, catalyzing significant shifts, particularly in areas where change has been slow or resisted. The key astrological feature is the formation of two major T-squaresâone in fixed signs (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus) and another in mutable signs (Virgo, Pisces, Gemini). These T-squares create a powerful dynamic, highlighting the need for transformation in both entrenched and transitional areas of our lives. The presence of Uranus in the fixed T-square, combined with Mercury's recent cazimi and square to Uranus, underscores the themes of sudden change, disruption, and revolutionary insight. Meanwhile, the mutable T-square, involving Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and Venus, emphasizes a period of adaptation and revision, where the old is being challenged, and the new is emerging, albeit in an unclear and evolving form.
Key Influences
Full Moon in Aquarius: Culmination and Disruption in Fixed Signs: The Full Moon in Aquarius brings to a head the energies that have been building, particularly in the fixed signs of Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus. Full Moons are always a time of culmination, and in Aquarius, this energy is focused on collective issues, innovation, and breaking away from outdated structures. However, the fixed nature of these signs means that change has likely been resisted, creating tension that now demands release. The Moonâs opposition to the Sun in Leo, forming a T-square with Uranus in Taurus, underscores the need for transformation in deeply rooted areas of our livesâespecially those related to personal security, values, and stability.
Sun and Moon T-square Uranus: Revolutionary Change and Disruption: The T-square involving the Sun in Leo, Moon in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus is the most significant configuration during this Full Moon. Uranus, the planet of sudden change, disruption, and innovation, is near the end of its transit through Taurus, suggesting that we are reaching a critical point in the transformations that began when Uranus entered Taurus in 2018. This alignment pushes us to break free from entrenched patterns and embrace new possibilities, even if the process is uncomfortable or chaotic. The involvement of the Sun and Moon emphasizes the personal and emotional impact of these changes, as well as the broader collective shifts that are unfolding.
Mercury Cazimi and Square to Uranus: Clarity and Disruption in Communication: Before the Full Moon, Mercury passed through its cazimiâa moment of clarity when Mercury is at the heart of the Sunâwhile also forming a square to Uranus. This aspect suggests sudden insights, breakthroughs, or disruptions in communication, technology, and thought processes. The square to Uranus emphasizes the revolutionary energy at play, bringing unexpected news, surprising revelations, or shifts in perspective. This influence is particularly potent because it occurs just before the Full Moon, setting the stage for the disruptions and changes highlighted by the T-square.
Jupiter Square Saturn and Mars Square Saturn: Tension and Drive in Mutable Signs: Adding to the intensity of this period is the ongoing square between Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn in Pisces, a major transit that represents tension between expansion and restriction, optimism and realism. Mars, having recently conjoined Jupiter, is now squaring Saturn, adding further tension and drive to this configuration. This creates a mutable T-square involving the signs of Virgo, Pisces, and Gemini, which represents a period of revision, adaptation, and transformation. The mutable signs are associated with change and flexibility, but this T-square suggests that the process may be challenging, requiring patience and perseverance as old structures are dismantled and new possibilities are explored.
Venus Oppose Saturn: Challenges in Relationships and Values: Venusâs opposition to Saturn further intensifies the mutable T-square by involving Jupiter and Mars. This aspect often brings challenges in relationships, finances, and values, highlighting areas where we may feel restricted, disappointed, or undervalued. The opposition suggests a need to find balance between our desires for connection and pleasure (Venus) and the realities or limitations imposed by external circumstances (Saturn). This dynamic adds to the sense of being in a transitional phase, where old patterns are being confronted, and new possibilities are emerging, but not without difficulty.
Integrating the Influences
Fixed T-square Dynamics: Embrace Change in Deeply Rooted Areas: The fixed T-square involving Uranus demands that we confront areas of our lives that have been resistant to change, particularly those related to security, stability, and entrenched values. This is a time to embrace the disruptions and breakthroughs that Uranus brings, even if they feel destabilizing. The key is to recognize where change is necessary and to be willing to let go of outdated structures or beliefs that no longer serve our growth. This Full Moon is a turning point, signaling the culmination of long-term changes that have been building, particularly in the fixed signs.
Mutable T-square Dynamics: Navigate Transition with Flexibility: The mutable T-square highlights the ongoing process of adaptation and revision, particularly in areas related to communication, relationships, and personal growth. This configuration suggests that we are in a liminal space, where the old is being dismantled, and the new is not yet fully formed. Itâs important to approach this period with flexibility and patience, recognizing that the path forward may be unclear and that adjustments will be necessary. The mutable energy encourages us to remain open to new possibilities and to embrace the changes that are unfolding, even if they are challenging.
Mercury’s Role: Use Insights Wisely: The clarity gained from Mercuryâs cazimi and the disruptions suggested by its square to Uranus should be used to inform our decisions and actions during this period. These insights may reveal new perspectives or information that challenge our existing beliefs or plans. Itâs important to remain adaptable and to use these revelations to guide our choices, especially as we navigate the tension and uncertainty highlighted by the T-squares.
Venus-Saturn Opposition: Reevaluate Relationships and Values: The opposition between Venus and Saturn calls for a reassessment of our relationships, finances, and values. This aspect may bring up feelings of limitation or disappointment, but it also offers an opportunity to clarify what is truly important to us and to establish stronger foundations in these areas. Itâs a time to confront any imbalances or unmet needs and to take practical steps to address them, even if it requires difficult conversations or decisions.
Practical Applications
Embrace Disruption: Allow Change to Unfold: The fixed T-squareâs emphasis on Uranus suggests that change is inevitable, particularly in areas where we have been resistant. Rather than fighting these disruptions, try to embrace them as opportunities for growth and transformation. This may involve letting go of old patterns or beliefs that no longer serve you and being open to new ways of thinking and being.
Adapt and Revise: Stay Flexible: The mutable T-square requires flexibility and adaptability as you navigate this transitional phase. Be open to revising your plans or approaches, and recognize that the path forward may be uncertain. The key is to remain patient and to trust that the changes occurring now are part of a larger process of growth and evolution.
Use Insights: Act on New Revelations: The insights gained from Mercuryâs cazimi and its square to Uranus should be used to guide your actions during this period. These revelations may challenge your existing beliefs or plans, but they also offer valuable information that can help you navigate the changes ahead. Be willing to adjust your course based on these new insights.
Reevaluate Relationships: Clarify Needs and Boundaries: The Venus-Saturn opposition suggests a need to reassess your relationships and values. This is a time to clarify what you truly need in these areas and to establish stronger foundations. Be willing to confront any imbalances or unmet needs, and take practical steps to address them, even if it requires difficult conversations or decisions.

Iâm writing a general post for the weekend through Monday. Times are busy for us light workers and this Moon is already bringing out some interesting behavior.
The Moon will enter the humanitarian centered sign of Aquarius this afternoon at 4:44 PM CST and roll through Monday afternoon. The Full Moon goes exact at 27° degrees, at 1:25 PM CST on Monday.
Today the Moon enters Aquarius and it will immediately meet up with Pluto (rx) bringing out all the deep and truthful feelings within us. How you handle that is up to you. Do what you can, this one is an emotional hit. Iâm going to fill my weekend and those around me with high vibrations to counteract it. No one is escaping this powerful moon cycle.
Over the weekend, Mercury (rx) in Leo will square Uranus in Taurus which is gonna cause mental tension and possibly a rigid mind. Weâll see radical views being challenged and interrupted communication.
The Sun in Leo will join this party on Sunday in a conjunction to Mercury (rx) making it an auspicious time for communication of all forms. Think before you act is all I can say about that one. Expect even more technological disruption.
The Sun and Mercury continue to square Uranus and then the Moon gets involved on Monday. Uranus, the energy that rules over Aquarius is challenging this Full Moon to a duel. You know the term âLunatic?â This lunar event is a fine example of why that term exists. You may feel restless so please try not to revolt. A little restraint will help us all. Make appropriate choices.
Venus in Virgo will square Jupiter in Gemini creating distraction. While this transit makes us want to party, and go after our heartâs true desires, given the rest of the energies and the fact that whatâs in most peopleâs hearts isnât a general love for thy neighbor, just watch out for the intentions of those around you.
Saturn (rx) in Pisces joins this mix in an opposition to Venus so hopefully this will help you stop, reassess and stick close to those truly in your corner but this could seriously cause rifts in friendships because all loyalties will be questioned.
In summation, the energies rolling in are filled with tension and personal insecurity. If you use this energy in a positive way it will bring in a realization of what your true and authentic self is giving you a true sense of your identity. Who you truly are will be revealed. So see people for who they show you to be this weekend and especially on Monday.
The point of all this is, itâs time to decondition from old patterns and ways of being and understand that humanity as a whole is meant to come together. I sure do hope we get the point. Change isnât easy but it is upon us. Lean towards the side of kindness please, for humanityâs sake. Peace and Love to all! đđ«

Venus in Leo 2024: Invitation to Shine
Venus is going to be an evening star for the upcoming nine months or 263 days. This phase of the Venus cycle represents a time of integration and digestion of the experiences we had in the previous months, a time to connect with the deeper meaning of what we went through, particularly in the area of relationships and finances, and acknowledge the corresponding shifts in our value system.
Venus from Cancer to Leo: The Value of Play, Creativity, and Celebration
In Astrology, Venus is associated with the connection between how we relate with ourselves and how we relate with others. The natural ruler of both Taurus and Libra reminds us that whatever we experience in our relationships with others gives us information about and is a reflection of something that is happening in our relationship with ourselves. Venus is also associated with the way we relate to money, prosperity, and abundance, and with what wealth means to us. Because of Venusâs association with Taurus, she is also connected to our system of values and to issues of self-worth and self-esteem.
While Venus was in Cancer, we were reminded of the value of vulnerability and of the importance of cultivating relationships that represent safe spaces, where all of our parts are welcomed and honored. This transit offered us an opportunity to refine our ability to both give and receive love, nurturance, and care, deepen our capacity to be compassionate, and improve our attunement to both our and othersâ needs and emotions.
Venusâ ingress in Leo brings our focus toward ourselves and our need for creative expression and self-actualization. This transit highlights our desire to be fully expressed, to be seen, and to actively participate in life, leaving our mark or creating our legacy. Venusâs journey through Leo is a reminder of the value of creativity, pleasure, and celebration. This combination of energies underlines the power of being intentional about aesthetics as they can represent doorways to the embodiment of a specific frequency and state of being.
Venus opposite Pluto and sextile Jupiter
As Venus enters Leo, she immediately opposes retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. This aspect, already active but exact on July 12, brings to an extreme any power plays, control dynamics, or underlying manipulation attempts that may be present in our connections with others. These days, we are experiencing an increasing need for intensity and high-sensation experiences. We are also experiencing equally strong desire and fear of allowing our relationships to transform us, as that would mean being vulnerable, relinquishing control, and accepting the risk of getting hurt.
The Venus-Pluto opposition is an opportunity to acknowledge how our unconscious, unprocessed pain as well as our fears and insecurities are dictating our decisions and actions in both romantic and financial matters. It is also a chance to look at our relationships and financial choices from a birdâs eye view, from an objective stance.
The Venus-Jupiter sextile, exact on July 21, invites a generous and open-hearted approach to life, love, and learning. The activation of Jupiter in Gemini reminds us of the role of relationships as catalysts for growth and of the value of direct experience, of trial and error. The Venus-Jupiter sextile inspires us to expand our social circles, get to know new people, and share what we know, think, and feel with others.
Venus trine Chiron and square Uranus
On July 30, Venus in Leo trines retrograde Chiron in Aries. The Venus-Chiron trine offers us an opportunity to recognize wounds that impact our self-worth, self-love, and our ability to form and sustain healthy relationships. This aspect encourages healing through self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance and brings chances to release old pain. The Venus-Chiron trine inspires us to take care of ourselves by investing time and energy into what we love, what energizes us, and what we are passionate about, and reminds us to acknowledge the value we bring to our connections.
On August 2, Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. Around this time, we are likely to experience a period of unexpected changes, shifts, and disruptions in our relationships and finances. The Venus-Uranus square can ignite a sudden desire for more freedom, space, and independence, as well as a need to rebel, detach from othersâ expectations, and challenge the status quo in both romantic and financial matters. From an evolutionary perspective, this aspect highlights the need to break free from ways of being in relationships that represent a result of early conditioning and choose instead to discover and honor our unique needs and desires.
Venus enters Leo: Invitation to Shine
Venusâs journey through Leo represents an invitation to let ourselves be seen in our authentic expression, in our unique beauty, an invitation to make sure we are showing up without holding anything back and without misrepresenting ourselves. This transit reminds us of the value of play, encourages us to deepen our ability to live with an open heart, and motivates us to instill more creativity into our relationships.
The upcoming weeks are a powerful time to focus on sharing our creative practices with others and prioritize connecting with states of joy and playfulness, making sure we are enjoying and celebrating the gift of life, the gift of having a human body, the gift of being able to experience giving and receiving love.
Venus in Leo reminds us of our inherent ability to create, to be creators of our lives, to play, to feel, and to make art for artâs sake, without expectations or attachment to any goal. The upcoming weeks are a favorable time to explore new social circles, new creative outlets, and new hobbies, get on a stage, and share our light with others generously. --Moon Omens

November 2024 Important Dates
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's November Forecast hosted by Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. It's been a minute and I'm glad to be back!
November 1st - New Moon in Scorpio
This lunation at 9 degrees of Scorpio highlights the two big oppositions that will dominate the month: Venus (17â)-Jupiter(20â) and Mars (29â)-Pluto (29â). These aspects culminate just 2 days later on the 3rd. Placements in mutable signs will see great help while late cardinal signs are getting challenges, and these two configurations aren't very connected--our hosts predict about half the population will be exuberant and the other half distressed. Jupiter and Venus bring enthusiasm, hope, rewards, victory and triumphs over long struggles, especially in the vibrant signs of Gemini and Sagittarius (although it may be a little too much chatter and information or putting too much faith in limited data with Jupiter retrograde).
November 2nd - Mercury enters Sagittarius This is the sign where he'll retrograde (discussed at the end of the post).
November 3rd - Venus opposite retrograde Jupiter, Mars enters Leo Venus-Jupiter discussed above under the lunation. Meanwhile, Mars (29â) opposes Pluto (29â) right before he enters Leo...a story that has been connected on the world scale to ruthless warfare and excessive deployments of military force. It's the first of 3 Mars-Pluto oppositions we'll get in the upcoming months, but the only one in Cancer-Capricorn. Mars presides over conflicts generally, and Pluto brings in the shadow element--think sneaky power plays, spying, and information warfare. On a personal level, Austin cautions us not to confuse feelings of powerlessness and paranoia with the real thing and be aware that this configuration will make us blow things out of proportion. One piece of advice for working through such a transit is to name or shed light on the metaphorical demon--don't let your worries stay nebulous, oppressive and all-encompassing. Seeing things for what they really are will bring it back to scale.
There will then be a huge tone change as Mars ingresses into Leo (for example, Mars in Gemini and Cancer brought big shift in US politics). Until the 19th, Pluto and Mars are no longer opposing each other by sign. The volume is turned down for a couple weeks...but it'll be back. Mercury will also join Mars in retrograde later this month (enters the shadow period, or the degrees it will revisit, on the 7th), so we're definitely going to be revisiting things. For example, we can expect delays and complications around the US election. Overall the Mars retrograde story doesn't wrap up until April (plus some personal zodiacal releasing stuff for Trump), which means some part of this story isn't gonna be over until the spring. Probably this means events we don't think are important now will come back to haunt us months later.
We're going to have 2 months of Mars in Leo regardless of anything else going on. Mars in Cancer is very emotional and internal and in personal lives can show up as being concerned for the safety of one's home or family, while on a larger level has indicated turf wars and disputes over origins or homeland. Mars in Leo will externalize and move very quickly; think showmanship and exuberance. Mercury is also moving from a water sign (Scorpio) to fire (Sagittarius), moving us from defense to offense and thinking forward. Additionally, as a fixed sign Leo usually has more certainty and staying power, but because of the retrograde it may take awhile to see what will last and what won't.
November 11th - Venus enters Capricorn She'll apply to a sextile with Saturn that culminates on November 21st. Though sextiles are weak aspects, Saturn is receiving Venus, making this a notable positive aspect of the month. Venus-Saturn helps us set and enjoy good boundaries.
November 15th - Saturn stations direct, Full Moon in Taurus
This lunation occurs at the same time that Saturn stations in Pisces, intensifying its significations. (For example, the Titan submarine disaster occurred during the first Saturn station in this sign). Positive manifestations of Saturn in Pisces involve setting necessary boundaries and restrictions: the Mars-Saturn conjunction in this sign included the first US laws about restricting forever chemicals in the water. Bet on problematic water stories in the news around the 15th.
The other major signature of this lunation is that the Moon (24â) conjoins Uranus (25â) immediately after, so there's a curveball or unexpected twist set to happen mid-month. Uranus and the Moon are also both on the fixed star Algol (as they were together in July), a star with dark and gory associations. Usually an exalted Moon in Taurus would be stabilizing, but something is disruptive this time around. In personal charts unexpected disruptions and plot twists can turn out to be exciting or work for our benefits--great news, you don't have to go to school because a pipe burst and it's closed for 3 months!
November 16th - Sun opposite Uranus
November 19th - Pluto enters Aquarius This is a major shift in world astrology. Pluto's been going back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius for the past few years, but now he's in Aquarius for good (he won't return to Capricorn for ~237 years). Chris says cyberpunk dystopia scenarios are playing out, such as billionaires controlling mass media and other hi-tech means of control. The flipside of major corporate control is people using the technology available to them to improve their own lives. Unlike the noir unhappy endings of cyberpunk media, though, we know that there will be a new phase after this: Pluto in Pisces 15-20 years down the road. Thus the adaptations we make today can lead us into the future. Pay close attention to what happens around this ingress to see what the next decade or two will be like. Pluto's ingress to Capricorn in 2008 coincided with the banking crisis/recession and creation of bitcoin--things like AI, robotics, and possibly space flight will start coming into serious play.
November 21st - Sun enters Sagittarius
November 25th - Mercury stations Retrograde Placements from 6-22 degrees of Sagittarius (and other mutable signs) will start something this month that will be revisited, revised, or repeated on December 15th, the day Mercury stations direct. The story won't completely wrap up until Mercury exits his post-retrograde shadow period (that is, goes past 25â, where he stationed,) on January 2nd. With Jupiter and Mercury in each other's signs there is mutual reception, bringing us victorious and enthusiastic messages...maybe too much so. Be wary of announcing good news too soon. With Neptune squaring them both from Pisces, there's an element of deception or confusion imparted to the beginning of this retrograde. Especially with Mercury in detriment in Sagittarius, there's a risk of telling tall tales or confusing myths for facts. Also coming up during this retrograde: Mercury has his cazimi (exact conjunction to the Sun) on December 7th at the same time that Mars stations retrograde, 12/6-12/7 is an important turning point. Overall, November ends on a cliffhanger that will resolve partway into December.
November 26th - Electional chart (if you must...!)
Between the Mars-Pluto opposition at the beginning of the month and Mercury retrograde at the end, so it's a difficult month to do things. But if you have to while Mercury is stationing, Chris recommends the 26th around 9AM. Having Capricorn rising in your location means the Ascendant ruler Saturn is in the 3rd house in a day chart with a sextile from Venus (17â) as well as a square from Jupiter (17â). The Moon is in Libra in the 10th house, applying to a square to Venus with reception (Moon is in Venus's sign) and applying to a trine with Jupiter. Thus, even though Mercury is stationing, the Moon is in good condition and you can get a halfway decent rising sign. It's also about as far away as we can get from the Mars-Pluto opposition. The downside is that with Mercury static you'll probably have to do revisions or run into delays with what you're starting, so keep in mind that you'll have to redo things. (It's still better than having to work with the Moon squaring Mars a few days later.)

Energy Update: September 2024
September is an â8â Universal Month [9 (September) + 8 (2024) = 17 = 1+7 = 8] in an â8â Universal Year. 8 months are represented by the infinity symbol and the ouroboros â they are everything, and nothing, all at once. Everything comes full circle in an 8 month, often represented by the highest highs and the lowest lows. What comes up must go down. But, alternatively, what goes does must come up. In this way, 8 months can be seen as a type of equalization. This is very in line with the astrology of the month, where we return, on an astrological level, to what has gone before â in more than one case, for the last time. This will be a month to revisit unfinished business.
The Set Up
We begin the month with the Sun in Virgo, Mercury moving through its post-retrograde shadow in Leo, Venus in Libra, Mars and Jupiter in Gemini, retrograde Saturn and retrograde Neptune in Pisces, Uranus in Taurus, and Pluto just barely in Aquarius. By monthâs end, the Sun and Mercury will have entered Libra, Venus will have moved into Scorpio, Mars into Cancer, and Pluto backward into Capricorn.
The Nitty Gritty
Everything comes full circle this month as we enter our first â8â themed month in our â8â themed year. This may feel like a homecoming for some, but for others, it will be a roller coaster ride straight into unfinished business. If the feeling of the year has been âchange before you have to,â this is your astrological reminder that we are approaching eclipse season, which always strongly emphasizes the HAVE To side of that equation. Not only will we be experiencing a lunar eclipse, but we will also see all of our personal planets change signs and Pluto transition back into Capricorn for the very last time. The world is shifting again, and we may need to find that solid ground will be difficult to come by in the weeks ahead.
Pluto
This year has been colored by Pluto, our dwarf planet of death, change, and transformation, which has been slowly transitioning from the cardinal earth sign Capricorn (where it has been sitting for the last 15 years) into the fixed air sign of Aquarius. Our outer planets move very slowly and dictate the overarching feeling of the times; their transitions from one sign to another generally coincide with intense societal changes and times of turmoil and transformation. On the 1st, Pluto moves back into Capricorn for the very last time.
Pluto plays the long game. Like its namesake, it slowly degrades the area of life it touches. In Capricorn, Pluto has been breaking down our outdated systems of government and institutions. Pluto is a cosmic reminder that all things must die in their time so that something new can be born in its place. We are experiencing the final death throws of what was â but it wonât be pretty. Like all earth signs, Capricorn can get exceedingly stuck in its ways, and it often takes more than one quake to shake things loose.
Because this happens on the first, the energy of Pluto entering Capricorn from the back end will set the tone for the entire month. You may feel like you are regressing in some way in your life. A situation may arise that you thought was taken care of. This will be strongest felt by those with personal planets around 00° in the earth or cardinal signs. Where Aquarius rules innovation and the future, Capricorn rules the past and tradition; society may take a step or two back away from progressive measures or future-focused thinking.
The good news is that this Pluto in Capricorn retrograde wonât last long. Pluto will station direct in October and reenter Aquarius for the final time (for the next 248 years) on 11/19/24. The 80 days in between may be quite challenging, though. Something may need to change â inside your life and in the world. Itâs decision time. The big flex throughout September (and into October and November) will be to let go of what needs to leave your life.
Our Lights: the Sun and the Moon
Our Sun will be in Virgo and Libra all month long, which means that this month marks the transition from Summer (Virgo) to Autumn (Libra) on 9/22. Also, because our lunar nodes will remain on the Aries-Libra axis through the new year, we are entering our second eclipse season. The Sun in Virgo will oppose retrograde Saturn in Pisces on Sunday, 9/8, which may show up in our lives as a check-in with our goals and what we must do to stay in alignment. Remember, we are in an â8â month in an â8â year, so things may feel all over the place at times â itâs okay, now come back to the center.
Virgo season tends to be about cleaning up, physically and metaphorically. The summer is drawing to a close, and it is time to prepare for the new season. As mentioned above, this whole year has been about endings and the hint of new beginnings (represented by Plutoâs planetary movements), and it may feel like we are down to the wire. This monthâs big flex will be to take the new moon on 9/2 to clean up what you can and then let the lunar eclipse on 9/17 take you where itâs going to.
Our new moon on 9/2 is at 11° Virgo and is a 3/2 new moon.
6 (Virgo Moon) + 6 (Virgo Sun) = 12 = 1+2 = 3. 3 (Virgo New Moon) + 8 (September 2024) = 11 = 1+1 = 2.
The new moon is relatively unaspected, so we look back again to the numerology. Notably, the new moon carries â11â energy twice over; first, it falls in the 11th degree of Virgo, and, secondly, it is an 11/2 new moon. This is one of three Master Numbers in numerology â it heightens the energy of the final number (2). The number 2 is one of movement and connections â with the number 2, you are either adding (1+1=2) or subtracting (2-1=1). Through this, we can infer that this is a new moon that will get things moving.
Remember, Virgo is a sign of refinement. As the second of our two Mercury-ruled signs, Virgo lives in the mind, but rather than being the Idea Man (Gemini, nongendered), Mercury begins the work of perfecting and honing down in Virgo. This can feel like criticism (especially if you donât have Virgo in your natal chart), so stay aware of touchiness in yourself and others around the new moon. Clean it up. Fix it up. Do what youâve been putting off. Future-proof your life. Virgoâs new moon energy has a lot in common with the energy of Mercury retrograde, but it will pass far more quickly.
The Sun in Virgo will square off with Jupiter in Gemini around 9/12, which may feel unlucky but is, more likely than not, simply a bit challenging. Remember, Virgo is LOOKING to refine. That challenge is there so that you will better understand what you have to do.
Our lunar eclipse on Tuesday, 9/17, will be at 25° Pisces and is a 9/8 full moon.
12 (Pisces Moon) + 6 (Virgo Sun) = 18 = 1+8 = 9. 9 (Pisces full moon) + 8 (September 2024) = 17 = 1+7 = 8.
This is the real deal (even by Eclipse standards) due to a couple of major planetary aspects happening around the 17th, most notably Mars in Cancer forming a rough cardinal square with our lunar nodes in Aries and Libra.
But wait, Minx â how come the lunar nodes are in Aries and Libra, but the eclipsed moon is in Pisces? This is our first indication that our lunar nodes are reaching the end of their stay in their current signs. The lunar nodes are sitting at 06° and will move on to the Pisces-Virgo axis early in 2025. While this switch happens, we often see off-element eclipses that fall in the âwrong signs.â In this way, we can use this early Pisces lunar eclipse as a bit of an augury of what will come in the three years ahead when the lunar nodes transit Pisces and Virgo.
The eclipse wonât be close to the lunar nodes (11°), but Mars will be in a tight t-square, so expect tensions to be high. This is undoubtedly red-flag weather, so lie low and stay out of the arena if possible. When Mars is poorly aspected, the chance of violence goes up. We are also experiencing two strong oppositions on either side of the eclipse â Venus in Libra will oppose Chiron on Monday, 9/16, and Mercury in Virgo will oppose retrograde Saturn on Wednesday, 9/18. Note that all three of our personal planets are involved in the days around this eclipse â it will feel personal for most of us.
Standard eclipse advice applies here: Eclipses (like the sign of Virgo) tend to be a hit of instant alignment. The lunar nodes can be viewed as an arrow in the sky pointing from the South Node and towards the North. In our natal birth charts, the nodes show the natural flow of energy in our lives, and in the transits, they show the natural flow of energy happening at the time of the transit. Age-old astrological advice is to TRUST what happens on the days of the eclipses and, to a lesser degree, on the days between the set of eclipses, which dictates the âseason.â Eclipses have a way of opening some doors and closing others. Iâll write more about the eclipse as we approach this lunar event.
Mercury
Mercury has finally exited its retrograde at the end of August and will chug its way quickly through the last bit of Leo, through Virgo, and into Libra by the end of the month. Virgo is the sign of Mercuryâs domicile, so 9/9 to 9/26 will be an excellent time for all Mercurial pursuits (writing/language/technology/travel).
Keep in mind that before we get there, Mercury still needs to retrace the last dregs of its post-retrograde shadow. This includes the third of its trines with Chiron in Aries on 9/2 (the day of the new moon) â this could bring up some touchy bits from our total lunar eclipse back in April, which included a conjunction with both Mercury and Chiron not far from the spot where Chiron still sits in Aries today. Chiron spots can feel very touchy if you arenât used to them (see also: donât have a strong Chiron element in your birth chart or havenât undergone a serious Chiron transit). A good way of looking at it is that the pain is there to show us what isnât working so we can fix it. Again, this will be a month of refinement.
Mercury exits its post-retrograde shadow at 04° Virgo on 9/11 and doesnât make any other aspects until it opposes retrograde Saturn in Pisces on 9/18. This is our planetary check-in or check-up. As mentioned in the section about our Luminaries, this happens a day after our lunar eclipse, so it may serve as the cosmic right time to take stock of what has happened and what we can do about it. Mercury in Virgo is very proactive, and Saturn wants us to be our best selves â we CAN use this opposition to our advantage even if, on the outside, it doesnât seem advantageous.
Mercury squares off with Jupiter in Gemini on 9/22, making for a tense day of many misunderstandings. You may wake up the next morning to realize those mountains were mere molehills. Donât take things too seriously, and it will pass quickly.
As Mercury moves towards its ingress into Libra on 9/26, they will trine Uranus in Taurus, oppose Neptune in Pisces, and trine Pluto in Capricorn â this is business as usual and will probably pass unnoticed.
Once Mercury enters Libra, they will meet up with the Sun and the South Node in an early stellium, which may illuminate (the Sun) new ways of thinking (Mercury) about our past (South Node). We are deep in eclipse season and should meet the last days of September with our eyes wide open.
Venus
Venus will be in the sign of her domicile, Libra, until 9/22, when she enters Scorpio, the sign of her detriment. In Libra, Venus can be entirely consumed with the ideals of traditional relationship roles, and in Scorpio, she turns her eyes towards secrets and â in the worst-case scenario â revenge! The first half of the month strongly supports relationships (at least the easily codified and societally acceptable ones), but things are not always what they seem with Venus. Keep in mind that Venus in Libra can sometimes be a bit controlling â especially regarding how she wants her relationship to appear. As Venus enters Scorpio, she can quickly become the scorned lover â even if she hasnât actually been scorned!
In Libra, Venus can become so obsessed with her ideal of a relationship that she refuses to look at reality. This may come to a head on 9/4 as she meets up in conjunction with the South Node at 06° Libra. Relationships of all kinds will be on the chopping block that week, but most significantly, those that arenât built on mutual support and understanding. Our lunar nodes on the Aries-Libra axis have been forcing us all to confront our personal biases around Independence versus Togetherness, and this time may be especially fraught for couples with different needs on this spectrum.
On 9/15, Venus trines Jupiter in Gemini, which is a good day to have a good day. On 9/16, she opposes Chiron in Aries, which might be a wake-up call to where we live in excess or otherwise outside our means or comfort zones. We may have to pay for the overindulgences of the day prior. She will trine Pluto in Capricorn right before she enters Scorpio, a reminder that we canât always carry our past into the future.
While she is in Scorpio, we have to remember to watch our tongues and keep a check on our revenge fantasies. If the person did you wrong, fine, but if your own expectations just hurt you, you may need to check yourself through the end of the month.
Mars
Mars spends most of the month in Cancer, the sign of its fall. That means from 9/22 to 9/30, both of our relationship planets will be in uncomfortable positions. Itâs worth noting that Mars will be in the sign of its fall earlier in the month, while Venus will be in her domicile.
Relationships may be tense all month long. Mars in Cancer is naturally square to Venus in Libra. Though the two wonât meet up in exact aspect with one another here, it still shows that partners in any given relationship may not see eye to eye with one another (regardless of gender). Mars will be better aligned with Venus in Scorpio, but neither is a peaceful or kind placement for relationship continuity. Just be aware and stay aware all month long. People, in general, are likely to be moody and a touch emotionally manipulative.
This spark exists all month long, and when Mars in Cancer forms a cardinal t-square in the skies as we enter eclipse season, we add the fuel. The problem that Mars in Cancer has is that Cancerâs natural motis apprendi is to move in a sideways direction (like its namesake, the crab), which often appears to be subversive or manipulative to others. Aries is all forward motion and wants nothing to do with this sidestepping, and Libra can tolerate it, but itâs not quite their way, either. This is a battle of the Cardinal Giants, and of any of the modalities, cardinal signs are the ones that donât back down.
Mars is our problem child of the month; emphasis on the term child here. Mars in Cancer can be at his most petulant â throwing a full-on âDonât tell me what to do! Donât tell me what to do! Donât tell me what to do!â temper tantrum because he didnât get his way. Whatever comes up for us during this upcoming eclipse season, Mars is not going to like it. Not one bit.
Mars never likes giving up control, thatâs for sure. Itâs worth noting that we are working our way towards a Mars retrograde in Leo in December. You could say that the pumps are getting primed for a very real meltdown yet to come.
At the end of the month, on 9/30, Mars trines retrograde Saturn in Pisces, which is yet another cosmic check-up on ourselves to round out the month. We end the month in the middle of an eclipse season that spans the line between Aries-Libra and Pisces-Virgo, which means that from a lunar nodal perspective, we are about to pass from sign 1 back into sign 12. This mimics the energy of Pluto reentering Capricorn for one last stay. As above, so below.
The month ends much as it begins. The double loop of the 8 always completes itself.
Looking Ahead
October is Libra and Scorpio season. We will have an eclipsed new moon in Libra and a full moon in Aries later in the month. Jupiter will station retrograde, and Neptune will station direct. Once eclipse season ends, we will have a bit of a reprieve until Mars enters Leo in November.
