Transformers Animated x Captain America![Reader]

[Synopsis]: After coming back from an errand run with Bumblebee and Sari, Captain [Y/N] “Buddy” [L/N] witnesses Optimus being berated by Sentinel who came to Earth for some orders. The Leader of the Avengers didn’t like the whole ordeal they’re watching so they step in to shield Prime away from unnecessary drama.

[(A/N)]: The author I’m basing off of their work uses “Buddy” as a placement for the readers until they come up with an official name, depends on the requests they received. So, I thought of using this aspect by making it as the reader’s nickname in this piece. Like Bucky Barnes from the Marvel franchise.

[Bumblebee, Sari and Captain [L/N] had came back to the Plant after an errand run. The three stepped inside only to witness Optimus being talked down by the most unlikable Elite Guard who just so happened to be assigned for some business on Earth.]

Captain [L/N]: That’s the jerk who you guys told me about?

Bumblebee: Yeah, that’s Sentinel Prime. He and Boss-bot had history together back in their academy days.

Sari: He sounds much harsher than last time.

Captain [L/N]: I don’t like what I’m seeing. *Marches over the two*

Bumblebee: Whoa whoa whoa! What are you doing?

Captain [L/N]: Putting this mech in his place.

[Then the captain approaches to Optimus and Sentinel.]

Captain [L/N]: Hey! *Throws their shield at Sentinel to get his attention*

Sentinel: *Gets knocked to his helm* Ow! Who threw that?!

Captain [L/N]: *Catches their shield as it bounced back* I did.

Bumblebee & Sari: *Awestruck* You have to teach us that.

Captain [L/N]: Now is not the best time, guys. Maybe later. Optimus, are you okay?

Optimus: Oh, I’m fine. You surprised us with that shield of yours.

Captain [L/N]: At least you’re good. I need to have a word with this mech. Could you do me a favor?

[Optimus lifts Buddy up to Sentinel’s optic level.]

Captain [L/N]: Thanks. *Clears their throat* Son, you need to stand down and listen.

Sentinel: Oh, I see. You’re the one organic with the shield helping this team. Why should I hear you out?

Optimus: *Looking at him with the “You better listen because they don’t mess around” type expression on his faceplate*

Sentinel: *Groans* What?

Captain [L/N]: Do you know why you’re given the Prime title? Because you believed you earned it, which you did. However, you should have used it wisely.

Sentinel: *Scoffs* Wisely? Of course I’m using it wisely. I got the title because I worked hard to earn it.

Captain [L/N]: Just because you gained it doesn’t mean you can boast it around or use your position to abuse your colleagues, your subordinates, your comrades. It damages possible connections, plus you look like an aft-hole from that behavior of yours.

Sentinel: Hey, watch it. What do you know about positions, anyway?

Captain [L/N]: I earned mine back in my world during one of the great wars and became a leader of the Avengers. I use those titles to not just save civilians from danger, but also build better communication with my team and act accordingly with one another for a brighter future. As of what I’m witnessing here is you acting like someone with poor leadership skills.

Sentinel: Can’t believe an organic is talking down on me.

Captain [L/N]: *In a stern commanding tone* What was that?

Sentinel: *Spooked a bit* Nothing! It’s just unbelievable I’m being lectured by a flesh-ridden organic. I mean, why is this happening? Why are you intruding my business with Optimus?

Captain [L/N]: Because I have the right in this situation. I’m captain since the 1940s, sacrificed myself to save my world, my home, the people I cared about and…someone I didn’t get the chance to dance with…

Sentinel: How old are you, exactly?

Captain [L/N]: “This son of a b*tch…💢” Old enough to be someone’s grandparent, but that’s not the case. You need to stop belittling Optimus and his team since they’re doing you favors by foiling the Decepticons’ plans of destruction. Where’s your sorry aft when they risked their Sparks?

Bumblebee: Wow, they’re pulling in our words.

Sari: Buddy told me they were studying your vocabs during downtime. They thought it’s easier for you guys to talk with each other.

Sentinel: That’s because…

Captain [L/N]: There is no excuse to behave like that with anyone, especially to Optimus who even I can see potential in him.

Sentinel: *Struck his already fragile ego* You’re really going for that, huh?

Captain [L/N]: Not the first time I seen people with potentials greater than they assumed.

[As some time passed while Captain [L/N] lectures at Sentinel of what truly makes someone a great leader, they let a final saying towards the end.]

Captain [L/N]: One more note: Optimus Prime is a better leader than you. He and his team had fought the enemy countless times on Earth while your Elite Guards are busy dealing with Cybertron. He even cares about them and their well-beings as well as people on Earth. Don’t ever talk down on him or anyone else. You’re dismissed.

[After the talk and Sentinel returned back to Cybertron, the young Prime approached to the captain.]

Optimus: Buddy, you didn’t have to stand up for me. I can handle him.

Captain [L/N]: Optimus, I worked with people like him and nobody else stood up for me back in my day. I had to fight my own battles when my best friend wasn’t around on time. Someone has to do what’s right by sticking together and not repeat the cycle.

Optimus: I’m sorry you went through that, Buddy.

Captain [L/N]: It’s all in the past so I’m okay. You’re a great leader, Prime. Don’t forget that. And never mind the unnecessary comments Sentinel has said.

[Buddy then walks off and returns to Bumblebee and Sari.]

Bumblebee: Wow, you really talked him down..

Captain [L/N]: I thought the guy needed some humbling. Or what my friend, Peter explained back home.

Sari: Speaking of your friends, you got any more stories to tell?

Captain [L/N]: There’s plenty to tell from my universe. One time when Bucky had to sneak out…

Reincarnation of Tony Stark.

So here's the idea, after his death, Tony reincarnated as a Seeker on Cybertron, some time before the war.

But he ain't the only one, Natasha is too, but she, similar to her old life, is made to be an assassin, but she's actually given an inhibitor chip that forces her to follow orders.

During his life with his Trinemates, Ironjet would strive to help his Trinemates look to brighter pastures, all while trying to help them move up in life from being mere Seekers, Ironjet even desiring to be a scientist like he was in his past life, even having the idea of creating the Arc-reactor again for the purpose of replacing energon as the fuel source of machines, possibly even for helping Cybertronians as a secondary fuel source. He would even build himself a "matrix" built with an Arc-reactor and even implementing the coding for the time machine, giving him minor Temporal Manipulation(speeding up), and implementing his tech to himself. His Trinemates are Skydive(Femme, shorter then her Trinemates, meek but friendly, becomes the medic) and Nightflight(Mech, strong silent type, a nack for Science like Ironjet, but is more CNA sciences).

Natasha would be reborn as Shadowburn, a 1.1 presenter with Spacial jumping, entering the Shadow zone at will, and can forcefully pull things with her through the Shadow zone, for silent take downs. Shes actually a member of the Rescue-bot Caste. She was made an assassin for the Counsel, being trained to take down those the counsel want offline, those they want to stay in line, like Ironjet. When she's ordered to Assassinate him, as soon as he's pulled into the Shadow Zone, he immediately recognizes her body language, and deactivates her Inhibitor chip(you know he'd upgrade his Transwarp net thing so he can hack devices), and they have a tearful reunion. They and Ironjets Trinemates would then sneak off Cybertron as the war starts, stealing a Larger research vessel, which Ironjet would upgrade.

On there travels, I think Ironjet should find a Arachnicon Sparkling and take it in.

I should note that Ironjet Cold Constructed a couple of Minicons, one of which is a Spider Cassetticon called Web//tech. Cyber, a Minicon that turns into a Datadrive to interface with machines and computer systems(she would be Ironjets new JARVIS/FRIDAY). The other 2 would be similar Weaponizers. Wolfshot, a canid minicon that becomes a Sniper rifle. System-crash, a Gorilla shaped Minicon that turns into a hammer, that emits a short range emp on contact. Along with new versions of his old life robots, U and Dum-E.

They later go to earth. And eventually meet team Prime, when Nightflight meets Cliffjumper during an Energon mine raid(the one where Starscream was gonna kill Cliffjumper, but Nightflight saves him. Or they meet one of the Terrans(depending on which Continuitys you choose)

Oh hey! That’s me! Thanks for the HCs! I really enjoy this fun read.

I really loved that you added Sentinel as a bonus. The mech would absolutely fear the Avengers’ leader from the Marvel universe.

Sari and Bumblebee trying to cook fried rice with Buddy’s shield. 😭 I don’t think a Vibranium shield is the best choice for cooking. 😂

Oh, imagine Buddy telling stories of the wartime adventures back home and ones with the Avengers.

Stories like how Captain Buddy helped foil H.Y.D.R.A.’s plans of world domination and how they help saved New York from The Chitauri while defeating a Norse god who led the army (which is also confusing for the ‘Bots to understand how it’s possible in their home universe).

Optimus would be in awe and fascinated to hear the stories about a team of remarkable people. People plus another Norse god related to the first one mentioned earlier.

Teaching them how to throw like Buddy would definitely be a fun experience. Just hope Team Prime doesn’t cause too much damage when practicing.

At least they had their shield when they fell from the sky.

Bad news was that they were falling from the sky.

They were thankful enough that the Bots who saved them from being a pancake on the pavement were ready to help them get back home.

Not a lot of people, or beings, were so kind.

Now if only they could get Bumblebee and Sari to stop trying to cook rice on their shield…

Bots who were a bit cautious of the newcomer

These bots are rightfully cautious of the human that randomly falls from the sky. They are surprised to hear about the human being from a new universe. It sounds fake as their description of a ‘super soldier’… until Buddy caught Bumblebee after he tripped. Yes, they were struggling with the new weight, but they held on relatively well for any human they’ve come across. But for the sake of certain bots on the team, Buddy is not allowed to carry anyone. They sympathize with the hero when they mention being frozen for years. The Bots knew what that felt like to a certain degree. Whenever a villain shows up, the super soldier does their best to help. They are a bit of a fan of them tossing their shield and using magnets to retrieve it.

Bots who find Buddy to be cool

Whether these bots outwardly say it or not, they all think Buddy is cool. Not only are they kind and polite, but they are a Super Soldier! Their time on Earth has introduced them (whether against their will or not) to comics and Buddy fits the soldier’s profile. The bots sometimes find themselves using Buddy’s phrases. Some have nicked named the soldier ‘Capicle’ after they heard about them going into ‘stasis’. If a villain shows up, they know they need to keep an optic out for Buddy. They always go headfirst into every fight and it’s going to give them a spark attack! Have asked Buddy to teach them how to throw things like their shield.

Dan as Angel Danielle as a fallen angel and Danny as Devil

It started with learning shapeshifting, which then just turned into a prank and Danny enjoyed it much more than he thought.

Danny had no idea why Dan had angel wings and he got devil wings. Anyway, Dani got black angel wings and she loves them.

And after a while, the trio of siblings decided to have some fun, not that anyone would find them.

Dan as Angel told a hero to beat up the villain worse and worse. So he can't heal fast. Danny as Devil works hard to get people to help others. By giving ideas on how to fix the problem from the beginning.

And Dani was just making chaos and having fun. Not helping and not making it worse.

After a while Most heroes choose to follow the little devil on their shoulder instead of the angel. Around 3 villains got rehabilitated!

And Cass found a fun to make the devil blush. Danny looks adorable with that cute blush.

jazz is so in love with earth music that he sincerely believes interrupting a song is a rude gesture on his part... guys, he's so cute, i can't, i love him so much... prowl doesn't fully understand it, but you can tell from his gentle expression that he welcomes his friend's passion, even if such behaviour seems a bit odd to him. the main thing is that it makes jazz happy <3

it seems a little strange at first, the way jazz reacts to human's fear towards cybertronians. not really... understanding, yk? it's a surprise to see him like this, he's kind of a person who should realise why things happen the way they do right now. he doesn't show his displeasure in front of the earthlings, of course not, he keeps trying to make contact with them, kindly and openly, but at the same time he's being quite harshly in their favour? reacting pretty roughly sometimes? there's never anything truly negative about it tho. he doesn't act out of anger, but out of frustration, determination and hope - he wants to get rid of misunderstanding, to explain himself, to open people's eyes to the truth, to clean autobots' name. he's pretty enthusiastic about it. maybe even a little too much, because, well, in his attempts to fight injustice and make things better he kidnaps a person... oops. although it works after all! my guy is just SO charming. plus at least he's not as critical and irrevocable as the rest of his comrades and doesn't curse the whole planet for the mistake of one "undesirable" person (the autobots sometimes are the ultimate drama queens, lmao)

btw, prowl, on the contrary, understands perfectly why people are so wary of all giant scary robots. he behaves in this situation with restraint and tact. yep, here's the upside to sticking to logic rather than emotions! he doesn't rush to judge and berate the humans, he looks at the situation more deeply than the others, he's one of the few who is sensible about their state of affairs and relationship with humanity. he even defends the honour of the earthlings to the rest of the autobots, and more than once, not letting some individuals go too far in expressing their displeasure :D and he's trying to explain his point of view to others, trying to help them to understand what is really going on, help them to look at the situation from a different angle

True Sight

So I've seen this concept and this concept that Danny can somehow see the true nature of supernatural things.

This can be applied to SO MANY crossovers.

He meets Jake Long, and sees a silhouette of a dragon.

Juniper Lee looks like a she has a flaming shield on her back, shackled to her by rusty chains.

Steven Universe somehow looks like a 100 m monster, a giant princess, a large woman, and a really big pink guy all at the same time, depending on the exact angle he's looking at.

He almost goes blind when he meets Sakura Kinomoto. Her power is overwhelming and bright. Oddly enough, he's almost invisible to her.

He has no idea what to make of Q when he somehow ends up in an alternate 24th century. All he knows is that he's never seen anything that powerful, and never will again.

He can't see the true form of cybertronians the same way he can see through the paranormal, but energon leaves an odd taste in the air that makes their vehicle modes ineffective against him. He freaks out a little when he meets Sari.

Johnny Blaze feels every level of wrong imaginable and looks even worse.

Constantine is literally wrapped up in litigation.

I need a Transformers continuity where it's like X-men, where the conflict stems from their conflicting ideals, AND the fact that they're bitter exes. Like, I need EVERY Megatron and OP fight to have an AGRESSIVE amount of sexual tension. Like, technically their talking about the lives of humans, or the fate of Cybertron or whatever, but it's PAINFULLY obvious that it's about them. I want their begrudging team up against Unicron or whoever to have Wolverine and Cyclops levels of passive-aggressive flirting. And at LEAST one "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you" moment. This is a NEED. A NEED, TUMBLR!!!
