My take on cybertron Mirage. I tried to reference his G1 shape for his chest but honestly took inspiration from Dino/Mirage from dark of the moon ! I think since they’re going with his G1 backstory he’d have smooth plating and shine given his ‘aristocratic nature. Kept his helm the same since Bee’s doesn’t change much from cybertron to earth. I’m kicking around at least a mock cover of a one shot on cybertron so I needed a reference.

If you could, could you do dating headcanons for bayverse mirage/Dino? I know he doesn't get much screentime. He only has a couple of scenes, i wish he had more. But he's still really cool 😎

He is really cool, I agree!

Lots of compliments all the time. He loves complimenting his S/O. Listing off all his favourite things about them and everything he loves and finds beautiful.

He likes to whisper words of love in Italian, often caressing their face at the same time.

If his S/O learns Italian he will be extremely happy. He will smooch all over their face, saying how brilliant they are and how he loves them and how sweet they are.

Very handsy, loves PDA. He'll touch, kiss, and dote on his S/O all the time no matter if they are surrounded by other people and bots.

If his S/O is as handsy as he is he goes feral. He adores having them touch him and kiss him. He'll take all the affection and just lap it up. It will also make him return the affection ten fold to show his S/O he appreciates them being as affectionate as he is.

Very passionate. He loves deep sensual kisses. He can and does do quick pecks. But he needs to go deeper, he needs to show his S/O just how much he loves them, and he can do that with a kiss.

Extremely romantic. He goes all out on dates, nothing is too much for his love.

Gifts, so many gifts.

He gets jealous pretty easily. He's not insecure of himself, but he knows his S/O is amazing and can imagine other people want them too. He hates that. He wants his S/O all to himself.

Being jealous means he can get pretty clingy. When in public he likes to have his servos on his S/O. It gives him comfort, knowing they are there. And he also just loves being close to them.

Loves to cuddle and snuggle. He loves to fully entangle himself with his S/O. He'll wrap his arms around them, put his legs in between theirs and bury his helm into their neck. (If it is a human S/O he just loves to hold them close against his chest, both servos wrapped around them.)

Constant terms of endearment and nicknames. Usually uses these more than his S/O's actual name. "cuore mio (my heart)" "luce dei miei occhi (light of my life)" "vita mia (my life)"

transformers fans are not ready to be told that Heatwave from Rescue Bots (despite being depicted in the show as smaller) is logically bigger than Optimus Prime. OP is only the semi half of a full tractor trailer but Heatwave is the entire firetruck, caboose included. draw him big as fuck u cowards

Ok, but to answer the question, yes, he does in fact like King Kong, along with many other pieces of human cinema, especially the ones with giant monsters or dinosaurs. wheeljack is always looking for inspiration for new projects/inventions, and being on Earth has provided him with tons of new inspiration.

Dino Bot Optimus

Dino Bot Optimus Prime from Rescue Bots deserves wayyyyyy more screen time. He's mentioned all the time in Rescue Bots, but in Prime??? Not once.

But to be fair, I would also fear Ratchets' response to someone randomly getting a third partially organic based altmode on a fragging random tuesday. So I get hiding it from him.

So, heres Dino Bot Optimus AUs:

(These can be seen as separate AUs, or in one)

In RiD 2015, when the Primes take back their power from Optimus after they defeated Megatronous, becuase Optimus's body is becoming weak from this, they reformat him to completely take on the Dino Bot form he had. Now Bee got to deal with two Dinos.

In TFP:

-The Prime team as the Nemesis

Megatron: You'll never get in Prime! I know all your little tricks!

Optimus: -Transforms into Dino mode-

Megatron: ....what??

Optimus: -Drills through the walls with his tail-

Megatron: W H A T

In TFP, anytime Ratchet walks by, his tail wags

In RiD 2015, Optimus and Grimlock chew on eachothers tails when they are teething.

Optimus in Dino Mode, his body is very expressive. He hates it.
