Side Character Election - Story Prompts
As the Side Character election is over we are already aware of the winners and the 10 stories that we are going to get. However, among the election options, there were quite a few interesting plot prompts! Some are a bit like fanfictions, others feel like trolling, but some are also interesting because the plot prompt alone tells us more about some characters. So I thought I'll combine all the stories that we will get and those that we could have gotten
Top 10
Tumblr media
These are the character prompts that will get a story! You can look forward to their stories soon!
Takeru Momose Her Love in the Force "What if you fell in love with Momose instead of Tsugaru?"
Hayato Miyayama Her Love in the Force "What if you didn't date any of the instructors and started to fall in love with Miyayama?"

Takatomi Jinguji When Destiny Comes Knocking "Upon receiving a revelation from the Moeki Shrine, you decide to play pretend lovers with Jinguji. Every date with this hidden high-spec guy is a first-time experience. Could this person indicated by the gods possibly be your destined partner?"
Daisuke Agasa Metro PD "Story about falling in love with the master of Monkey Station"
Eito Ichinomiya Kissed by the Baddest Bidder "What if Eito met the child of another bidder? The next generation will have a spectacular crossover"
Not-Elected Story Prompts
These are the characters that haven't been chosen, so they sadly won't get a story. I'll still list the prompts because some are quite interesting and tell us more about the characters, or the routes if they would have ever gotten one.
Also it might inspire someone to write fanfiction, and maybe just maybe they will be more popular if Voltage did another side story election. I will group the prompts by title and have a miscellaneous section at the bottom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My thoughts
The Masquerade Kiss stories are quite interesting and some seem to tease more about the story or relation to other characters! You can tell by the amount of context of Blood Moon and Kasatsubaki, that this is most likely how their routes would have been like if they weren't cancelled. Especially Blood Moon sounded interesting to me. Together with Chaen they might be one of the few Yandere types in the app. Chaens prompt holy moly. I would have been very intrigued how that would have played out. I'm curious what else they have planned for him. Also why can't Chiba just be happy. He got a story but it looks like he is STILL in the unrequited love dilemma :') Also happy to see more content about Mitsuharu! Though i wish it was a what if story with MC or maybe a story with Sen, as we already know a bunch about Kasumi and Mitsuharu, but that's complaining on a high level. Any Mitsuharu content is good content! Speaking of Plust, i was surprised by the sudden amount of steam when you jump to X (gosh he sounds like twitter)! Almost like MC became a groupie ohmy! I can only imagine the drama. The manager being a place short of Tomohiro is almost insulting xD It seems like PLUST or Throne in that matter did not appeal as much as hoped. I still hope we get to see more of it! It's even funnier that Furuya of Liar is that popular even though he is just as much cheating scum like Tomohiro. I guess people actually wanted to see a redemption arc for him?
Another story I would have loved to see is Fuzzys? Because I love her a lot and i want her to be happy as well. It would have been so funny to see how she hunts for men! Also Tatsunoshin! OHMYGOD There were so many good options!!
Now onto the winner I COULDNT BE HAPPIER IT'S MOMO. Sure a CG would have been nice but i keep my hopes, up that we might get one with Tsugaru together eventually or maybe we would even get his own route! But... BUT... they just had to have Tsugaru comment on his win. And he says he's pleased, so Momo is also happy that he entered. PLEASE he's about to get your girl haha Agh. This will be a very interesting story. I really wonder how they'll handle his girlfriend and Momo connection to Tsugaru. I GOT WAY TOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS ELECTION. I am a side character afficionado. Also Miyayamaaaa!!! Last but not least: Where's Tokyo Love Hustle at :') I'm not sure if I'm happy that the rest of the cast is not listed as side characters (would mean their routes got cancelled) or if i'm sad because we might have been able to get some more content with it if they were?
First thoughts on a Fantasy High Dead Boy Detectives AU:
Ayda is in Edwin's role as the brains of the agency and the ghost from 1916 who escaped Hell. Her father was wealthy enough that she was able to go to a private all-girl's boarding school, but as the only Black girl at the school---who was also visibly queer and neurodivergent to boot---she was treated as an outcast, right up until she got sacrificed in a prank gone wrong. Now that she's escaped, Ayda uses the skills she's picked up and her love of mysteries to help out her fellow ghosts, though she's... not exactly the best at processing her feelings. Especially when those feelings involve her partner in solving crime.
Fig is in Charles's role, because there's no better fit for our lovely, heart-on-her-sleeve punk than the lovely, heart-on-his-sleeve punk---and let's be real, Fig is the most 80's Bad Kid. She attended the same boarding school as Ayda (just, y'know, seventy decades in the future), and while she fell in with the popular girls easily, it didn't take long for them to turn on her once she stood up for someone they were bullying... and, well, that led to her death. While Fig acts carefree and wisecracking, she carries a lot of guilt with her over the fact that she'd written off her family once she found out that Gilear wasn't her real dad, and not only did she never get to reconnect with them, but the experience was jarring enough that she made a lot of bad decisions, which led to equally bad relationships.
Adaine is in Crystal's role as our favorite psychic that is full of rage and anxiety. Her "David" is Penelope, who posed as a cool, older girl who gave Adaine the attention that she was lacking at home---and eventually became her first girlfriend, though that relationship was... not great. Now without a lot of her memories, Adaine's stuck with the Dead Girl Detectives, much to Fig's delight---and Ayda's, eventually. She gets over her jealousy way quicker than Edwin did. While Adaine wasn't a "make someone walk into traffic" kind of person pre-amnesia, she did carry over a lot of bitterness that curdled into something worse when she got swept up into the popular crowd, so... yeah, Fig and Ayda are kind of a blessing for her.
Figuring out the Niko equivalent was a bit harder, but I eventually settled on making her Lucy. She kind of fits the bill of someone who has a lot of sadness but is still unflinchingly kind, and between the pale hair and being dead-but-not-really-dead... yeah, Lucy's wonderful, and it means if I ever write this, I get to figure out who she is as I write her. Also, her dandelion sprites are Kipperlilly and Ruben, because I thought that'd be hilarious.
Thinking more into that, I decided that Sam would be a pretty good Jenny, seeing as she's got the bitchy-yet-loving energy that we all need. She's tired yet protective, closed off yet oddly kind... it works. Even though her style's more of a, uh "mermaid academia" type than goth, I think she'd make a really good Jenny.
And here's where you're gonna have to hear me out... Kristen is the Cat King, or rather, the Cat Queen. As tempting as it is to make her the church girl lesbian who's just come out and is struggling in a small town, I really wanted to hone in on her energy in Junior Year---a confident, easygoing, and hella flirtatious butch who's still a total mess underneath her swagger. I like to think that she was a human girl living in a religious family once (say, when settlers first arrived in Port Townsend), but she got really into witchcraft and wound up devoting herself to the cats, becoming an otherworldly being with nine lives as a result. As it stands, Kristen is hella fun, even if most of what she does is cause trouble.
With that in mind, Kalina was really the only character who I felt matched up with Ester's energy---except for Aelwyn, of course, but seeing as she's Adaine's sister and all, it didn't feel quite right. It could also tie in with Kristen's backstory---say, maybe Kalina was the person who taught Kristen about witchcraft, Kristen wound up getting the better end of the deal, and Kalina's still burnt out about two hundred years later. And in an irony of ironies, that resentment led Kalina to have a wolf familiar instead of a cat... who is, of course, our lovely girl Tracker. (Yes, Tracker has been turned into a girl before, and yes, she and Kristen are exes.)
I'm not quite sure who I want the Night Nurse to be, and you can tell that I'm saving roles for Gorgug, Fabian, Riz, and Ragh in case we meet characters like them in season 2---though, I have been fiddling around with the idea of Riz being an angel and a former agent of Heaven who Ayda and Fig have basically adopted into the agency. This is a first draft, so... yep!
Do you have any more Katya headcanons?
Aww Katya! I love her so much so thank you for asking and getting my brain juices flowing! Hehe
Katya is as smart-assed as her father when she’s comfortable around you. As soon as she feels like she can let her guard down around you she quickly becomes the most sarcastic one out of the bunch! She’s also very opinionated like her mother, you will know if she doesn’t like you. (Although that’s rare, because she’s genuinely a pretty laid back person.)
She gave a kid a black eye at the age of eight, which greatly alarmed Clint who was fully prepared to give her a stern talking to. His rehearsed I’m disappointed in you talk however flew right out the window upon the news that the kid with the black eye was also the ring leader of a group of bullies. A group of bullies that were harassing Katya’s new friend Daisy, a deaf child. Once the principal told him that, Clint shrugged his shoulders and told the principal, “Actually I think my daughter is the one who deserves the apology for having to do your job for you! And I deserve an apology for you wasting my gas, Principal Townsend!”
Katya later asked him, after a pit stop for some ice cream, why some kids were mean to those who couldn’t defend themselves.
“Sometimes it’s because at home they can’t defend themselves so they take it out on other people. They think it makes them feel better.”
“But that’s stupid, daddy.”
“Yeah, it is stupid ain’t it? If you promise not to tell mommy, do you wanna do something fun with daddy tonight?”
Later that night on a secret spy mission with daddy Katya learned that the bully, little Kevin Granger, couldn’t defend himself at home. She also believed that her daddy was a hero for real that night and that there were far scarier monsters than aliens in New York. Mommy was NOT happy with daddy when they got home.
Katya almost caused an international incident when she went on a ski trip to Finland. Having grown up around little influences of Russia via her mother’s heritage Katya was insanely curious about her maternal country. Natasha, however forbade her from ever visiting, and discouraged her at every turn to learn more out of fear that someone or perhaps the Russian state might kidnap her for testing or training. Katya was after all the daughter of a Widow. So, when Katya and her friends have some free time, Katya ever so carefully persuades her friends into a quick in and out trip next door. “Come on! They won’t even find out! I just want to see it! Please!!”
They make it in just fine and are visiting St, Petersburg Square when she gets the FaceTime call from her mother. It all goes to shit shortly after that. Katya tries to hide her surroundings with the help of all of her friends hoodies dumped over her head, but the call quality is shit and all Natasha sees is Katya’s slightly alarmed face with what looks like a black bag over her head. Then Natasha hears Russian voices in the background and the call cuts out. (Russian police had started to approach them to question what they are doing and spooked Katya. She jolts and her phone flies out of her hand and skids right into a rainwater drainage grate!!)
Tony stark nearly kicks off WW3 (Russia had restricted their air space, because of course they would!) Clint severely injuries eight police officers and one train conductor. And Nat, well…Nat slaps her daughter across the face for the first and only time in her life. It was intense and a very fraught time for the Barton-Romanoff family. It’s after this entire mortifying fiasco that Katya learns what exactly her fearless mother fears the most in the world. Ultimately it brings Katya closer to understanding her mother on a very deep level.
Katya didn’t start officially dating until her junior year of high school. Can you guess why? Starts with a C and ends with a T. She’s a daddy’s girl alright! She loves her father so so much. Not more than her mother or anything but she just understands Clint better. Clint is also a girls dad too, which such a combination does not for vivacious blossoming romance make! She tried of course, but after Clint met her date to the middle school dance by sharpening his knifes on the porch, Katya realized she had to play things a little differently than her peers. This of course doesn’t mean that she didn’t come home at three in the morning a little high or drunk with hickies on her neck once or twice. Her mom, of fucking course, was waiting for her on her bed.
“Sit, before you wake up your father. We need to talk.” “Are you going to tell dad?” “Only if you don’t tell me the truth, are you going to lie, Katya?”
She really hates it when her mom uses mind tricks on her, because damn it they work. After that Katya stops sneaking out. She brings her boyfriend over for breakfast two weeks later. Clint’s cordial on the surface, but obviously doesn’t really like him.
“He’s got a tongue ring Nat!? Do you know who has tongue rings these days! Bad boys! Boys who think no means yes and—“ “Do you trust our daughter, Clint?” “Of course I fucking trust her, it’s him I don’t trust! Look at him! He smells like weed!” “Trust her, Clint.” A sigh. “I just miss my little girl. When did she grow up so fast?” “All things grow old, honey, even you.” “Yeah?You still like this old man?” “Play nice tonight and I’ll prove it.”
Katya would later erase this conversation from her memory, and sleep with her headphones in. Eww. Parents. Are. So. Fricken. Gross.
Eventually, Katya and her high school boyfriend drift apart. She is now dating a young med student at Princeton. She’s planning on bringing him home in the fall.
I might have to fic some of these! Thanks for getting my creative juices flowing!! 👁️👄👁️
*   🌸  𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒛
* cierra ramirez, cis female + she/her  | you know valentina sanchez, right? they’re twenty-six, and they’ve lived in irving for, like, twelve years? well, their spotify wrapped says they listened to lover by taylor swift like, a million times this year, which makes sense ‘cause they’ve got that whole color coded to-do lists, a calendar app with appointments scheduled down to the minute, eating leftover cake for breakfast thing going on. i just checked and their birthday is september 7th, so they’re a virgo, which is unsurprising, all things considered.
trigger warnings: anxiety
*   🌸   ABOUT  VALENTINA  .
character inspiration: she’s got a summer roberts ( the o.c. ), brooke davis ( one tree hill ), and veronica lodge ( riverdale ) personality with the type-a neurosis of taylor townsend ( the o.c. ), monica gellar ( friends ), and andie mcphee ( dawson’s creek ) ... ok maybe also the personality of taylor too hehe ... mostly taylor.
growing up an only child, valentina’s parents were always focused on their darling daughter and ensuring her success. every move was scrutinized, every action taken in search of perfection. her father owns some of north carolina’s most successful car dearlerships and her mother worked briefly as a concierge at one of the state’s swankiest hotels, where she met valentina’s father at some sort of conference. they have a whirlwind romance and moved back to his hometown of irving, buying the home of their dreams along aquila drive.
valentina grew up wanting for nothing, yet had it engrained in herself that she must always strive for more. her parents constantly were on her back and she wanted nothing more than to please and succeed in every way possible. she wanted to be the best. her mother, a former pageant queen herself pushed valentina into the pageant circuit at a young age, and without much shock, she was a success. she even won the title of miss teen north carolina when she was in high school, but sadly did not place further than that.
during her junior year of high school, when gearing up for applying to colleges, she first experienced severe effects of the anxiety she had always suffered from and pushed down. it was debilitating for her at times and would oft suffer from anxiety attacks.
her parents, rather than personally being supportive, threw money at the problem and got her into therapy. they never really asked how she was doing, but still continued to pay for whatever sort of treatment she saw fit.
therapy helped, for sure, and taking the time to self reflect, she realized that the path she was on would lead her to crash and burn at a young age and it just wasn’t healthy for her. she had plans of attending columbia university in new york city post high school graduation, but soon realized the hustle and bustle of new york was not for her. instead, she found herself at cornell university in the school of hotel administration, looking to enter the field of hospitality management.
at school, far away from her parents for the first time in her life, valentina thrived. she had a life of her own that she was able to live for herself rather than in the service of her parents’ goals for her. she enjoyed the freedom immensely and really came into herself in university.
she had never pictured herself returning to irving post-graduation, and for a few years, she didn’t, instead finding herself a position in event coordinating at the very same hotel that her mother worked at all those years ago. it wasn’t too far from home, but it was far enough for her.
however, after a year she grew frustrated with the management at the establishment. there wasn’t much room for upward mobility within the ranks and she had bigger dreams than just working for someone else. it was then that she started doing freelance work as a wedding planner. however, running a business is expensive and she soon, much to her chagrin, found herself moving back in with her parents to save herself money while starting her burgeoning business. she’s back in her childhood bedroom now, hoping to soon save up enough to get herself a place at port apartments, maybe even with a roommate.
valentina is passionate about what she does. she loves love, to put it simply, and is extremely devoted to giving her clients the wedding of their dreams. she’s a bit of a hopeless romantic, even though she’s been burned a few times in the romance department.
Now introducing... LEX CRAWFORD
Page / About / Timeline / Inspo
Full Name:  Alexander Keene Crawford
Nickname(s): Lex
Birthday: June 13th, 1975 (45)
Hometown: Scarsdale, New York
Education: Harvard Law School
Occupation: Lawyer, Sr. Partner
Faceclaim: Ben Affleck
Content Warning(s):
Emotional Manipulation, Divorce, Cheating, Affair(s), Drug Use, Alcoholism
Last Update: November 22nd, 2020
FAMILY & CHILDHOOD
Born at Lenox Hill Hospital to Madden Keene Crawford and Vivienne Renée Crawford (née Townsend), Lex Crawford is the second eldest of the Crawford family. Crawford has three additional siblings. One older brother (Christopher Keene Crawford, legal advisor), and two younger sisters (Annalise Brigitte Crawford & Lillian Louise Crawford-Kingston, both socialites)
Madden Crawford was absent and distant as a father, mostly appearing to criticize his sons. Had a tendency to favor Christopher for his efforts even though he was less successful than his younger brother in academia. Christopher’s personality was well received as he was not nearly as cold nor as aggressive as Lex.
Vivienne Crawford, quite frankly, did not want anything to do with the children. For all of their childhoods they were propped up as pawns in her bid to outshine those in her social circle. The children were primarily raised by a variety of nannies, one of which would have a longstanding affair with Madden Crawford.
Madden and Vivienne were very clear on their lack of devotion to one another. The two photographed well and their interests aligned well enough to put up with being married to one another. Most of the married adults were also having affairs which were, sometimes,
Overall, the family is mainly composed of politicians, lawyers, advisors, and judges. A majority of them still have investments located elsewhere.
With a family like that it can be difficult to keep up or stand out. This has proven to breed a highly competitive nature amongst siblings and cousins in order to prove their value and worth within the family. While the patriarchs may be the ones judging sons for their selections of education and professions, it is the matriarchs that rule the roost with an iron fist.
Lex would attend The Dalton School in New York and then go on to attend Harvard. His choice and acceptance to Harvard was deeply criticized by family members and his father who claimed he was not good enough to attend Yale instead.
Lex has three children with ex-wife Liana Drayton-Crawford. Theodore Crawford (1999), Ava Crawford (2002), and Benjamin Crawford (2015)
MARRIAGE & SUBSEQUENT DIVORCE
While attending Harvard Law, Lex met an undergrad (Liana Drayton) from the nearby Northeastern University and the two began dating within roughly 6 months of meeting
Right before each of their graduations, she found out that she was pregnant
The two both graduated and had a rushed wedding later that summer. They would go on to have a total of three children.
Lex and Liana remained married for over 15 years before splitting in 2018 as a result of irreconcilable differences. Liana was the one who filed for divorce after issues that arose in 2015 after the birth of their youngest son.
For a majority of the marriage the two got along and enjoyed their time spent together. Lex was not necessarily an outstanding father by any means, but in comparison to what he had been raised with he did well for himself. Most of his life ended up being consumed by work which would not leave him with adequate time to see his children.
The Crawford family ensured that Lex was aware of their great disappointment in him for marrying Drayton who was not of their same social standing. They had attempted to convince him to get Liana to get rid of the baby or pay her off early on after finding out the news.Slowly over time he ended up being convinced that it was an issue which led to other issues within their marriage.
Around their 10th year of marriage he had some sort of meltdown after waking up one day and believing himself to be old and to have sacrificed his freedom of his 20′s on having a family that he never saw. This issue lasted roughly a year which would eventually include increased alcohol usage and drug use. These issues were found out (quickly) by his wife at the time and they worked together on these problems to keep ahold of their marriage for another 5 years before issues arose again.
Lex began to resent Liana for being one of the few people who had seen him at weaker and emotional points in his life. His family was keen on the concept that emotions made a person weak - while this issue had always been with him since childhood he had enjoyed being himself around his wife. Of course, with his slowly and ever increasing responsibility at the firm he became more distant and difficult to deal with.
Around their 16th year of marriage Lex was actively caught sleeping with one the law associates at work who was 10 years his junior
After this, as a guilt gift, Lex purchased his wife a Range Rover Sport Supercharged and had it delivered to the house with a large red bow. She was not impressed.
This led to immense bouts of fighting that made living together difficult. Eventually, Lex moved out of their family home and lived in an apartment by himself as the divorce was handled.
In a power grab, Lex ended up with full custody of the children and accused his then-wife of keeping his children from him (as he was sure the children would not want to stay with him even in split custody)
They fought about this custody in court for quite some time before the money ran out on his ex-wife’s side and she could no longer fight with him for it
At their departure, they had certain items split between the two as per the prenup.
OCCUPATION
Lex is a senior partner at a lucrative law firm that spends a great deal of time working on high profile cases
His competitive nature has helped him move up in the ranks at the firm and as a result he is often rewarded with some of the better cases that come in
Lex has a secretary and overall the firm usually has a few interns that come in throughout the year. At any given time there is usually at least one if not two interns at the firm
His ambitious with the firm ended up being the reason that he and his ex-wife drifted apart so significantly. It was also a part of why they got divorced.
PERSONALITY
Lex can have a tendency to behave rather erratically when he becomes upset. This has caused a great deal of issues with him and his personal relationships. He has also been described as aggressive and demanding to those generally outside of his social circle. Though even people within his circle have had no qualms with these adjectives.
However, he has great ambitious and is confident in what he wants and his abilities to get these things. He is also extremely well organized for the most part and uses his skills to his advantage often.
If he had not been so stubborn and set in the idea (that had been burned into him since childhood) that feelings = weakness, he could have probably fixed his marriage. Instead, he has a tendency to be resistant to these concepts which makes him cold.
Additionally, therapy could probably be of use to Lex to deal with his deeply rooted issues that really were planted by his family long ago.
OTHER
Avid smoker. Has attempted to quit multiple times and has been unsuccessful each time. He has managed to cut-back in some ways. Though it is often replaced with vaping instead.
The only pets that were ever had in the house were Great Danes. Before their divorce, Lex and Liana had two Great Danes. One was a fawn female named Bijou and the other a brindle male named Bruno. Somewhat near the end of their marriage they had adopted two more Great Danes. A black male named Salem (who now lives with his ex-wife) and blue female named Summer who remains in New York with Lex and the children (primarily cared for by Theo Crawford)
Though a lot of his traits can be perceived as negatives, they have always worked to his advantage in the workplace and for clients.
Although he does not express this, one of his greatest regrets in life is what happened with his marriage.
Lex is a case of Nature vs. Nurture where both do not lend themselves to a bright future. His family was cold, manipulative, and back-stabbing. His parents did not love one another and bad behavior was often encouraged between his father, uncle, cousins, and older brother. The criticism of his actions were often bothersome and did well at laying the groundwork for his meltdown over his marriage. Though it was still possible for him to avoid most of what went wrong, his family holds unchecked power over the younger members of the family even if the younger members are in their 40′s.
𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘪 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘴
[ connor franta, cismale, he/him ] have you seen ( malakai 'mack' sparks ) hanging around? the ( 24 ) year old often hangs around ( bean there, done that ) when they’re not being an ( actor/youtuber ). i’ve been told they’re ( witty ) but ( guarded ) and when i look at them, i see ( growing up too fast, playlists for all occasions, hugs that feel like home & bright stage lights met with brighter smiles ). wellcliff wouldn’t be the same without ‘em! [ spirit, 18, she/her, est ]
triggers: death (specifically death via car accident), anxiety & fighting/violence
Blake covered everything about the Sparks family in her intro for Ollie, but you know what? I’m gonna go over it again and then launch into Mack’s own history/personality, sprinkle in some headcanons.
Malakai Thomas Sparks was the second born son of Broadway actor Xavier Sparks and silver screen/television actress Joy Sparks (neé Townsend), younger brother of Ollie by three years.
When it came to families, Mack certainly lucked out because his was incredibly loving and accepting. Even though the world wasn’t always the kindest or most open to celebration of differences, the Sparks household would always be a safe place to retreat to.
This came into play many times over the course of his life, but two standout instances were his diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (G.A.D. for short) before he started junior high and when he came out as gay during his freshman year of high school. He thankfully received plenty of support from loved ones which was all that truly mattered to him at the time.
In reaction to the world’s cruelty however, especially during his junior high and high school years, this kid got into his fair share of fights. If anybody messed with his friends or talked shit about his family, then Mack would be quick to put a stop to it either with well-crafted verbal takedowns or with an actual physical fight. Thankfully, the scuffles were nothing serious, but they still served as a lesson to would be bullies. There would be hell to pay if you screwed with any member of Mack’s inner circle.
For the most part though, Mack’s life was peaceful and idyllic. Made the grade in school, did well in his extracurriculars, had an awesome group of friends then went home to a loving family. Plus, his acting talent was starting to shine through during his school years and he’d taken up YouTube as a way to strengthen his acting abilities while also simply goofing off on camera to hopefully make other people laugh.
As the story goes, lady fate threw a wrench in that happiness. Xavier and Joy had been en route to a movie premiere when they unfortunately got into a car accident then passed the same night. Seeing as how Ollie was 18, the elder Sparks was declared Mack’s guardian.
Eventually, a sense of normalcy returned. Mack had continued making the grade in school, but he’d closed himself off for some time. But he did eventually start hanging out with his friends again. He also rediscovered his passion for acting and revived his YouTube channel which had been dormant following a video that announced a hiatus after his parents had passed.
Fast forward to the present day. Thanks to Mack’s YouTube channel being pretty well recognized at this point, he has been offered some roles in films made by production companies that frequently worked with YouTubers interested in acting careers. He’s got his foot in the door and his star continues to climb higher, plus his channel continues to do well.
Personality wise, there are plenty of things that people notice about Mack right off the bat. His brightness, for starters. He’s quite the intelligent guy yet he’s also young and still has plenty of learning to do. But brightness also means he does the best he can to look on the bright side of situations even if it might be difficult to do so or when it seems his normally realistic nature should win out. There’s also his unwavering loyalty when it comes to his loved ones. How he’ll always leap to their defense at the drop of a hat and will always be there to either help you move in or be a shoulder to cry on after a break up. Of course, there’s also the fact that he’s quite guarded. Even members of Mack’s inner circle have dubbed him a tough nut to crack simply because he doesn’t want them worrying about him when he is of the belief they most likely have bigger fish to fry than whatever problems he’s facing. And there’s no denying his impulsive nature either, especially when it comes to protecting his loved ones or buying tickets for the hottest concert.
And that’s all I’ve got about Mack, but there is so much more to be discovered as the rp goes on! It’s currently almost five in the morning as I’m wrapping this up, so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for reading all of this. Feel free to like this, maybe slide into my messages and I’ll get back to you ASAP!
“The Doughy Boys headline a better than you’d figure card” UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs JDS Preview
Joey
January 20th
UFC 246 was a bit of a throw together endeavor, an attempt to get Conor McGregor on the card to start the year and using his name while he was still available and interested in fighting. In many ways, THIS was the original start of the year and it shows as this card, even with a mountain of injuries and fighters yanked, is pretty damn solid. At the top of the billing you have a solid HW fight between Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos with a damn fine co-main event pitting two massive LWs who have found consistent homes at WW with RDA vs Chiesa. The rest of the card has been picked apart due to injuries (and the Edgar yank) but there's still plenty of good with Arnold Allen vs Nik Lentz and an all action fight between Angela Hill and Hannah Cifers being trademark fights on the bill. We've even got yet another flyweight fight as Jordan Espinosa welcomes Alex Perez back down 10 lbs. The prelims are what they are but there's some intriguing prospects to keep an eye on here and the return of Sara McMann. It's not perfect but it'll do, I suppose!
2020 Stat-O-Matic:
Debuting Fighters (1-1): Tony Gravely, Nate Lewhwher, Herbert Burns, Jamahal Hill Main Event Exemption:
Short Notice Fighters (): Dequan Townsend, Angela Hill Main Event Exemption:
Second Fight (1-0): Dequan Townsend Main Event Exemption: Vs Debutantes:
Cage Corrosion (Fighters who have not fought within a year of the date of the fight) (2-0):  Sara McMann, Justine Kish, Brett Johns Main Event Exemption (1-0):
Undefeated Fighters (1-1): Jamahal Hill Main Event Exemption:
Fighters with at least four fights in the UFC with 0 wins over competition still in the organization (1-1): Main Event Exemption:
Weight Class Jumpers (Fighters competing outside of the weight class of their last fight even if they’re returning BACK to their “normal weight class”) (): Nik Lentz, Alex Perez Main Event Exemption ():
Twelve Precarious Ponderings
1- If the rumors are true about Stipe Miocic maybe looking towards retiring due to eye injuries, does that intrigue you more as it pertains to this main event? If Stipe retires then it's fair to wonder if Cormier has any reason to stick around. Cormier is a two time LHW champ and a former HW champ and so realistically could he just convince himself that no Stipe = no reason to fight? If so then it may be worth wondering if this is a pseudo tournament fight where the winner of this fight faces the winner of Rozenstruik vs Ngannou. Does that make this fight more appealing to anybody?
2- Outside of Cain, JDS has normally done really well against wrestlers (look at Stipe's takedown numbers) and outside of Ngannou, Blaydes has normally done real well against strikers. Both guys have been wobbled in fights they eventually won (JDS vs Lewis/Tai Tuavasa, Blaydes vs Hunt) and I think it's fair to suggest that this is a pretty well put together matchup with a bit of a high lean for boredom if it becomes a Blaydes type fight.
3- On a realer note, does JDS vs Werdum still have an appeal to anybody? Feels like win or lose, that would be a logical next step for JDS?
4- A bit ago, posted a link to a sites top fighters of all time and RDA was on it quite high up. While it came off like I have an issue with RDA, I really was more surprised that he's THAT highly acclaimed. I've always assumed RDA was a bit of an overlooked commodity by fight fans but I guess I read the read at least one side of the room wrong. There's no doubt RDA has one of MMA's best resumes and what's really cool about it is that RDA is still fighting at a really high level now into his 3rd decade and with little sign that he's about to hit a wall from a fighter standpoint. He's sort of transitioned into a high level MMA kingmaker (beat him you've beaten a significant name) and if you beat him, it probably means you're going places in your division. As such this is a pretty damn important fight for Michael Chiesa who is 2-0 at WW and looks massive for the weight class. If Chiesa beats RDA then no matter how you feel about his limitations on the feet, you're looking at three wins in a row over name competition. It's a damn good fight for both guys.
5- Is Hannah Cifers the most unassuming main card fighter in UFC history?
6- Did we ever get a solution on Arnold Allen's legal issues that made him getting a visa impossible for a bit? I'm guessing we did because he fought in Vegas last time but it feels like this is going to continue to linger over his head otherwise.
7- Is Alex Perez fighting for a #1 contender fight when he takes on veteran Jordan Espinosa? Perez has one loss in the UFC and it's to Benavidez in Joseph's first finish in over four years. Perez rebounded to get a win and it's worth remembering that he's probably the most talented fighter outside of the Formiga/Benavidez/Figueredo trilogy at the top of the division. He may not be too far off with a win.
8- Herbert Burns is the younger wilder unrefined version of his brother Gilbert but that's led to some pretty exciting performances outside of the UFC. On the Contender's Series, he didn't look great prior to turning the tables around and subbing a guy off his back to earn his contract. I don't know if he has Gilbert's upside but his fights figure to be plenty exciting in the UFC. He faces fellow debutante Nate Landwehr who has been dominating M-1 out in Russia.
9- Montel Jackson is a tough fighter to wrap your head around at this point. He's very much a raw but talented underdeveloped talent who is essentially getting on the job training in the UFC. He doesn't always have a plan of attack to make good on his many physical tools and he's one of the many prospects in the UFC currently who is very clearly in need of MMA slowing down for him in order for him to utilize his length, reach, wrestling and striking chops. He draws Felipe Corrales who is a solid dependable fighter out of Brazil and while I'd say "Montel should win this one", it's hard to say that definitively given how raw Jackson is. He's got tools to really make noise.
10- Brett Johns being back is a good thing for 135 lbs. He's coming off two rough losses and took a year off I suppose to recharge and refocus. Really interesting to see how he looks against quality regional vet Tony Graveley who gets in via the Contenders Series.
11- Bevon Lewis has been such a bust in the UFC but I'm not giving up hope just yet! He draws DeQuan Townsend on the prelims in a fight he pretty much HAS to win.
12- It wasn't all that long ago that Sara McMann was still considered a potential title challenger to be. McMann has always had all of the tools (including a really good striking base) but has lacked that added quality to get people over the hump with losses to the likes of Meisha Tate and Ketlein Veira where she pretty much snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. She's been out of the scene starting a family but returns to the mix with a fight against Lina Lansberg who she should in theory have a significant edge over in just about every department.
Farrah Fawcett sweet smile Barbie Doll.
The most beautiful women in TV and Movie History now become Barbie Collector Dolls created by acclaimed re-paint Artist Donna Brinkley.
Farrah Leni Fawcett is known as the world’s Sexiest Star of all time… she will forever be one of Hollywood’s greatest Icons. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, the younger of two daughters.[3] Her mother, Pauline Alice January 30, 1914 – March 4, 2005), was a homemaker, and her father, James William Fawcett (October 14, 1917 – August 23, 2010), was an oil field contractor. Her sister was Diane Fawcett Walls (October 27, 1938 – October 16, 2001), a graphic artist. She was of Irish, French, English, and Choctaw Native American ancestry. Fawcett once said the name Ferrah was made up by her mother because it went well with their last name.
A Roman Catholic, Fawcett’s early education was at the parish school of the church her family attended, St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. She graduated from W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, where she was voted Most Beautiful by her classmates her Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior years of High School. For three years, 1965–68, Fawcett attended the University of Texas at Austin, living one semester in Jester Center, and she became a sister of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. During her Freshman year, she was named one of the Ten Most Beautiful Coeds on Campus, the first time a Freshman had been chosen. Their photos were sent to various agencies in Hollywood. David Mirsch, a Hollywood agent called her and urged her to come to Los Angeles. She turned him down but he called her for the next two years. Finally, in 1968, the summer following her junior year, with her parents’ permission to try her luck in Hollywood, Farrah moved to Hollywood. She did not return.
Upon arriving in Hollywood in 1968 she was signed to a $350 a week contract with Screen Gems. She began to appear in commercials for UltraBrite toothpaste, Noxema, Max Factor, Wella Balsam shampoo and conditioner, Mercury Cougar automobiles and Beauty Rest matresses. Fawcett’s earliest acting appearances were guest spots on The Flying Nun and I Dream of Jeannie. She made numerous other TV appearances including Owen Marshall: Counselor at Law, [Mayberry RFD]] and The Partridge Family. She appeared in four episodes of The Six Million Dollar Man with husband Lee Majors, The Dating Game, S.W.A.T and a recurring role on Harry O alongside David Janssen. She also appeared in the Made for TV movies, The Feminist and the Fuzz, The Great American Beauty Contest, The Girl Who Came Giftwrapped, and Murder of Flight 502.
She had a sizable part in the 1969 French romantic-drama, Love Is a Funny Thing. She played opposite Raquel Welch and Mae West in the film version of, Myra Breckinridge (1970). The film earned negative reviews and was a box office flop. However, much has been written and said about the scene where Farrah and Raquel share a bed, and a near sexual experience. Fawcett co-starred with Michael York and Richard Jordan in the well-received science-fiction film, Logan’s Run in 1976.
In 1976, Pro Arts Inc., pitched the idea of a poster of Fawcett to her agent, and a photo shoot was arranged with photographer Bruce McBroom, who was hired by the poster company. According to friend Nels Van Patten, Fawcett styled her own hair and did her make-up without the aid of a mirror. Her blonde highlights were further heightened by a squeeze of lemon juice. From 40 rolls of film, Fawcett herself selected her six favorite pictures, eventually narrowing her choice to the one that made her famous. The resulting poster, of Fawcett in a one-piece red bathing suit, was a best-seller; sales estimates ranged from over 5 million[12] to 8 million to as high as 12 million copies.
On March 21, 1976, the first appearance of Fawcett playing the character Jill Munroe in Charlie’s Angels was aired as a movie of the week. Fawcett and her husband were frequent tennis partners of producer Aaron Spelling, and he and his producing partner thought of casting Fawcett as the golden girl Jill because of his friendship with the couple. The movie starred Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Fawcett (then billed as Farrah Fawcett-Majors) as private investigators for Townsend Associates, a detective agency run by a reclusive multi-millionaire whom the women had never met. Voiced by John Forsythe, the Charles Townsend character presented cases and dispensed advice via a speakerphone to his core team of three female employees, whom he referred to as Angels. They were aided in the office and occasionally in the field by two male associates, played by character actors David Doyle and David Ogden Stiers. The program quickly earned a huge following, leading the network to air it a second time and approve production for a series, with the pilot’s principal cast except David Ogden Stiers. Fawcett’s record-breaking poster that sold 12 million copies.
The Charlie’s Angels series formally debuted on September 22, 1976. Fawcett emerged as a fan favorite in the show, and the actress won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Performer in a New TV Program. In a 1977 interview with TV Guide, Fawcett said: When the show was number three, I thought it was our acting. When we got to be number one, I decided it could only be because none of us wears a bra.
Fawcett’s appearance in the television show boosted sales of her poster, and she earned far more in royalties from poster sales than from her salary for appearing in Charlie’s Angels. Her hairstyle went on to become an international trend, with women sporting a Farrah-do a Farrah-flip, or simply Farrah hair Iterations of her hair style predominated American women’s hair styles well into the 1980s.
Fawcett left Charlie’s Angels after only one season and Cheryl Ladd replaced her on the show, portraying Jill Munroe’s younger sister Kris Munroe. Numerous explanations for Fawcett’s precipitous withdrawal from the show were offered over the years. The strain on her marriage due to her long absences most days due to filming, as her then-husband Lee Majors was star of an established television show himself, was frequently cited, but Fawcett’s ambitions to broaden her acting abilities with opportunities in films have also been given. Fawcett never officially signed her series contract with Spelling due to protracted negotiations over royalties from her image’s use in peripheral products, which led to an even more protracted lawsuit filed by Spelling and his company when she quit the show.
The show was a major success throughout the world, maintaining its appeal in syndication, spawning a cottage industry of peripheral products, particularly in the show’s first three seasons, including several series of bubble gum cards, two sets of fashion dolls, numerous posters, puzzles, and school supplies, novelizations of episodes, toy vans, and a board game, all featuring Fawcett’s likeness. The Angels also appeared on the covers of magazines around the world, from countless fan magazines to TV Guide (four times) to Time Magazine.
The series ultimately ran for five seasons. As part of a settlement to a lawsuit over her early departure, Fawcett returned for six guest appearances over seasons three and four of the series.
In 2004, the television movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Charlie’s Angels dramatized the events from the show with supermodel and actress Tricia Helfer portraying Fawcett and Ben Browder portraying Lee Majors, Fawcett’s then-husband.
In 1983, Fawcett won critical acclaim for her role in the Off-Broadway stage production of the controversial play Extremities, written by William Mastrosimone. Replacing Susan Sarandon, she was a would-be rape victim who turns the tables on her attacker. She described the role as the most grueling, the most intense, the most physically demanding and emotionally exhausting of her career. During one performance, a stalker in the audience disrupted the show by asking Fawcett if she had received the photos and letters he had mailed her. Police removed the man and were able only to issue a summons for disorderly conduct.
The following year, her role as a battered wife in the fact-based television movie The Burning Bed (1984) earned her the first of her four Emmy Award nominations. The project is noted as being the first television movie to provide a nationwide 800 number that offered help for others in the situation, in this case victims of domestic abuse. It was the highest-rated television movie of the season.
In 1986, Fawcett appeared in the movie version of Extremities, which was also well received by critics, and for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.
She appeared in Jon Avnet’s Between Two Women with Colleen Dewhurst, and took several more dramatic roles as infamous or renowned women. She was nominated for Golden Globe awards for roles as Beate Klarsfeld in Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story and troubled Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton in Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, and won a CableACE Award for her 1989 portrayal of groundbreaking LIFE magazine photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White in Double Exposure: The Story of Margaret Bourke-White. Her 1989 portrayal of convicted murderer Diane Downs in the miniseries Small Sacrifices earned her a second Emmy nomination[20] and her sixth Golden Globe Award nomination. The miniseries won a Peabody Award for excellence in television, with Fawcett’s performance singled out by the organization, which stated Ms. Fawcett brings a sense of realism rarely seen in television miniseries (to) a drama of unusual power Art meets life.
Fawcett, who had steadfastly resisted appearing nude in magazines throughout the 1970s and 1980s (although she appeared topless in the 1980 film Saturn 3), caused a major stir by posing semi-nude in the December 1995 issue of Playboy.[citation needed] At the age of 50, she returned to Playboy with a pictorial for the July 1997 issue, which also became a top seller. The issue and its accompanying video featured Fawcett painting on canvas using her body, which had been an ambition of hers for years.
That same year, Fawcett was chosen by Robert Duvall to play his wife in an independent feature film he was producing, The Apostle. Fawcett received an Independent Spirit Award nomination as Best Actress for the film, which was highly critically acclaimed.
In 2000, she worked with director Robert Altman and an all-star cast in the feature film Dr. T the Women, playing the wife of Richard Gere (her character has a mental breakdown, leading to her first fully nude appearance). Also that year, Fawcett’s collaboration with sculptor Keith Edmier was exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, later traveling to The Andy Warhol Museum. The sculpture was also presented in a series of photographs and a book by Rizzoli.
In November 2003, Fawcett prepared for her return to Broadway in a production of Bobbi Boland, the tragicomic tale of a former Miss Florida. However, the show never officially opened, closing before preview performances. Fawcett was described as vibrating with frustration at the producer’s extraordinary decision to cancel the production. Only days earlier the same producer closed an Off-Broadway show she had been backing.
Fawcett continued to work in television, with well-regarded appearances in made-for-television movies and on popular television series including Ally McBeal and four episodes each of Spin City and The Guardian, her work on the latter show earning her a third Emmy nomination in 2004.
Fawcett was married to Lee Majors, star of television’s The Six Million Dollar Man, from 1973 to 1982, although the couple separated in 1979. During her marriage, she was known and credited in her roles as Farrah Fawcett-Majors.
From 1979 until 1997 Fawcett was involved romantically with actor Ryan O’Neal. The relationship produced a son, Redmond James Fawcett O’Neal, born January 30, 1985 in Los Angeles.[26] In April 2009, on probation for driving under the influence, Redmond was arrested for possession of narcotics while Fawcett was in the hospital.[citation needed] On June 22, 2009, The Los Angeles Times and Reuters reported that Ryan O’Neal had said that Fawcett had agreed to marry him as soon as she felt strong enough.
From 1997 to 1998, Fawcett had a relationship with Canadian filmmaker James Orr, writer and producer of the Disney feature film in which she co-starred with Chevy Chase and Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Man of the House. The relationship ended when Orr was charged with and later convicted of beating Fawcett during a 1998 fight between the two.
On June 5, 1997, Fawcett received negative commentary after giving a rambling interview and appearing distracted on Late Show with David Letterman. Months later, she told the host of The Howard Stern Show her behavior was just her way of joking around with the television host, partly in the guise of promoting her Playboy pictoral and video, explaining what appeared to be random looks across the theater was just her looking and reacting to fans in the audience. Though the Letterman appearance spawned speculation and several jokes at her expense, she returned to the show a week later, with success, and several years later, after Joaquin Phoenix’s mumbling act on a February 2009 appearance on The Late Show, Letterman wrapped up the interview by saying, I’m sorry you couldn’t be here tonight and recalled Fawcett’s earlier appearance by noting we owe an apology to Farrah Fawcett.
Fawcett’s elder sister, Diane Fawcett Walls, died from lung cancer just before her 63rd birthday, on October 16, 2001.[33] The fifth episode of her 2005 Chasing Farrah series followed the actress home to Texas to visit with her father, James, and mother, Pauline. Pauline Fawcett died soon after, on March 4, 2005, at the age of 91.
Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and began treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery. Four months later, on her 60th birthday, the Associated Press wire service reported that Fawcett was, at that point, cancer free.
Less than four months later, in May 2007, Fawcett brought a small digital video camera to document a doctor’s office visit. There, she was told a malignant polyp was found where she had been treated for the initial cancer. Doctors contemplated whether to implant a radiation seeder (which differs from conventional radiation and is used to treat other types of cancer). Fawcett’s U.S. doctors told her that she would require a colostomy. Instead, Fawcett traveled to Germany for treatments described variously in the press as holistic aggressive and alternative. There, Dr. Ursula Jacob prescribed a treatment including surgery to remove the anal tumor, and a course of perfusion and embolization for her liver cancer by Doctors Claus Kiehling and Thomas Vogl in Germany, and chemotherapy back in Fawcett’s home town of Los Angeles. Although initially the tumors were regressing, their reappearance a few months later necessitated a new course, this time including laser ablation therapy and chemoembolization. Aided by friend Alana Stewart, Fawcett documented her battle with the disease.
In early April 2009, Fawcett, back in the United States, was hospitalized, with media reports declaring her unconscious and in critical condition, although subsequent reports indicated her condition was not so dire. On April 6, the Associated Press reported that her cancer had metastasized to her liver, a development Fawcett had learned of in May 2007 and which her subsequent treatments in Germany had targeted. The report denied that she was unconscious, and explained that the hospitalization was due not to her cancer but a painful abdominal hematoma that had been the result of a minor procedure. Her spokesperson emphasized she was not at death’s door adding – She remains in good spirits with her usual sense of humor … She’s been in great shape her whole life and has an incredible resolve and an incredible resilience. Fawcett was released from the hospital on April 9, picked up by longtime companion O’Neal, and, according to her doctor, was walking and in great spirits and looking forward to celebrating Easter at home.
A month later, on May 7, Fawcett was reported as critically ill, with Ryan O’Neal quoted as saying she now spends her days at home, on an IV, often asleep. The Los Angeles Times reported Fawcett was in the last stages of her cancer and had the chance to see her son Redmond in April 2009, although shackled and under supervision, as he was then incarcerated. Her 91-year-old father, James Fawcett, flew out to Los Angeles to visit.
The cancer specialist that was treating Fawcett in L.A., Dr. Lawrence Piro, and Fawcett’s friend and Angels co-star Kate Jackson – a breast cancer survivor – appeared together on The Today Show dispelling tabloid-fueled rumors, including suggestions Fawcett had ever been in a coma, had ever reached 86 pounds, and had ever given up her fight against the disease or lost the will to live. Jackson decried such fabrications, saying they really do hurt a human being and a person like Farrah. Piro recalled when it became necessary for Fawcett to undergo treatments that would cause her to lose her hair, acknowledging Farrah probably has the most famous hair in the world but also that it is not a trivial matter for any cancer patient, whose hair affects [one’s] whole sense of who [they] are. Of the documentary, Jackson averred Fawcett didn’t do this to show that ‘she’ is unique, she did it to show that we are all unique … This was … meant to be a gift to others to help and inspire them.
The two-hour documentary Farrah’s Story, which was filmed by Fawcett and friend Alana Stewart, aired on NBC on May 15, 2009.[47] The documentary was watched by nearly nine million people at its premiere airing, and it was re-aired on the broadcast network’s cable stations MSNBC, Bravo and Oxygen. Fawcett earned her fourth Emmy nomination posthumously on July 16, 2009, as producer of Farrah’s Story.
Controversy surrounded the aired version of the documentary, with her initial producing partner, who had worked with her four years earlier on her reality series Chasing Farrah, alleging O’Neal’s and Stewart’s editing of the program was not in keeping with Fawcett’s wishes to more thoroughly explore rare types of cancers such as her own and alternative methods of treatment. He was especially critical of scenes showing Fawcett’s son visiting her for the last time, in shackles, while she was nearly unconscious in bed. Fawcett had generally kept her son out of the media, and his appearances were minimal in Chasing Farrah.
Fawcett died at approximately 9:28 am, PDT on June 25, 2009, in the intensive care unit of Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, with O’Neal and Stewart by her side. A private funeral was held in Los Angeles on June 30. Fawcett’s son Redmond was permitted to leave his California detention center to attend his mother’s funeral, where he gave the first reading.
The night of her death, ABC aired an hour-long special episode of 20/20 featuring clips from several of Barbara Walters’ past interviews with Fawcett as well as new interviews with Ryan O’Neal, Jaclyn Smith, Alana Stewart, and Dr. Lawrence Piro. Walters followed up on the story on Friday’s episode of 20/20. CNN’s Larry King Live planned a show exclusively about Fawcett that evening until the death of Michael Jackson several hours later caused the program to shift to cover both stories. Cher, a longtime friend of Fawcett, and Suzanne de Passe, executive producer of Fawcett’s Small Sacrifices mini-series, both paid tribute to Fawcett on the program. NBC aired a Dateline NBC special Farrah Fawcett: The Life and Death of an Angel; the following evening, June 26, preceded by a rebroadcast of Farrah’s Story in prime time. That weekend and the following week, television tributes continued. MSNBC aired back-to-back episodes of its Headliners and Legends episodes featuring Fawcett and Jackson. TV Land aired a mini-marathon of Charlie’s Angels and Chasing Farrah episodes. E! aired Michael and Farrah: Lost Icons and the The Biography Channel aired Bio Remembers: Farrah Fawcett. The documentary Farrah’s Story re-aired on the Oxygen Network and MSNBC.
Larry King said of the Fawcett phenomenon, TV had much more impact back in the ’70s than it does today. Charlie’s Angels got huge numbers every week – nothing really dominates the television landscape like that today. Maybe American Idol comes close, but now there are so many channels and so many more shows it’s hard for anything to get the audience, or amount of attention, that Charlie’s Angels got. Farrah was a major TV star when the medium was clearly dominant.
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said Farrah was one of the iconic beauties of our time. Her girl-next-door charm combined with stunning looks made her a star on film, TV and the printed page.
Kate Jackson said, She was a selfless person who loved her family and friends with all her heart, and what a big heart it was. Farrah showed immense courage and grace throughout her illness and was an inspiration to those around her… I will remember her kindness, her cutting dry wit and, of course, her beautiful smile…when you think of Farrah, remember her smiling because that is exactly how she wanted to be remembered: smiling.
She is buried at the Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
The red one-piece bathing suit worn by Farrah in her famous 1976 poster was donated to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History (NMAH) on February 2, 2011.[65] Said to have been purchased at a Saks Fifth Avenue store, the red Lycra suit made by the leading Australian swimsuit company Speedo, was donated to the Smithsonian by her executors and was formally presented to NMAH in Washington D.C. by her longtime companion Ryan O’Neal.[66] The suit and the poster are expected to go on temporary display sometime in 2011–12. They will be made additions to the Smithsonian’s popular culture department.
The famous poster of Farrah in a red swimsuit has been produced as a Barbie doll. The limited edition dolls, complete with a gold chain and the girl-next-door locks, have been snapped up by Barbie fans.
In 2011, Men’s Health named her one of the 100 Hottest Women of All-Time ranking her at No. 31
SCP-7238: Push For Rat
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7238 is to be kept in a secure minor-anomaly storage locker at Site 54. Any personnel may interact with or operate SCP-7238 upon request As of Incident-7238-Alpha, only personnel of level 2 or above may access SCP-7238. Object Description: SCP-7238 is a blue button made of plastic, approx. 7 in (17.78 cm) in diameter. SCP-7238's surface is made of a glossy blue polycarbonate plastic of unusually high density, and it is labeled in black text "push for rat". The border of SCP-7238 is a less dense, glossy black polycarbonate plastic. When SCP-7238 is released after being pressed, a seemingly non-anomalous rat (a random member of the genus Rattus) will be created with certain attributes related to the circumstances surrounding SCP-7238 being pressed.
Experiment Log:
11/██/20██ (Researcher A. Stein): SCP-7238 was pressed down for 8.23 seconds. Upon releasing the button, a large (8 in, 6.42 lbs) rat of indeterminate species appeared 2 meters in front of Researcher Stein.
12/██/20██ (Researcher P. Trunin): SCP-7238 was pressed 30 times in rapid succession. Upon releasing the button for the final time, 30 average-sized rats of varying species appeared in a pile in front of Researcher Trunin.
12/██/20██ (Senior Researcher H. Townsend): SCP-7238 was pressed lightly for 150 milliseconds. Upon releasing the button, an unusually small (<3 inches length) rat of indeterminate species appeared on top of Senior Researcher Townsend's hand. Senior Researcher Townsend has since adopted the rat and is caring for it. As of 2/██/20██, it has not exhibited growth, but exhibits no other anomalous effects.
1/██/20██ (Junior Researcher M. Agel): SCP-7238 was accidentally pressed after Junior Researcher Agel spilled his water on it and attempted to clean it up. Adjacent to the button, a small, wet rat of indeterminate species appeared. The fluid found on the rat was found to be non-anomalous water (H2O), and was chemically identical (including mineral concentration) to the water in Junior Researcher Agel's bottle.
Incident Log:
* Incident-7238-Alpha: A research assistant unintentionally left a clipboard laying on SCP-7238. Upon removing the clipboard, a colossal brown rat (Rattus norvegicus), 30 feet in length and measured to weigh approx. 2/3 of a ton, appeared in the containment area adjacent to the room SCP-7238 was in. No fatalities occurred due to this, but a minor Euclid-class containment breach occurred and 2 personnel were injured. The research assistant was reprimanded.
