About why I think Toraware no Paruma: Haruto and Aoi were the best otome/joshi-muke I've ever played because I could save him again and again until I could make things easier; and the characters don't focus on staying bothered for being on the receiving end of getting help or about roles of a man and a woman since what really matters in love is to be there for each other. Small things in the story such as when Haruto said it's not about calling each other often in a long distance relationship but never letting go of that feeling... that really resonated in me.

The person who did the art for Forbidden Palm/Toraware no Palm is reblogging a bunch of stuff about it today because it ended it's smartphone versions service today. It is available (in Japan only) on Switch. It's a shame Capcom hasn't bothered to localize it at all. Like, fuck, dudes just put it out overseas I assure you Otome fans aren't gonna be that weirded out romancing dudes locked in a prison cell.

just wanted to put a heads up that i'll also post some stuffs on my wordpress (daisannokagi.wordpress.com), since i'm also planning to make a text translation for aoi's route in toraware no palm. i've more or less finished translating the main story part in the prologue, and i'm planning to do the main story part first before touching the extra contents (monitoring quest, calls, meetings, etc)

for mizuho no kuni, i'm currently doing the 夢の都 track and will be posting it here soon (hopefully). i also bought haruka4 memorial book and some cds so i'm planning to post about it when it arrived

Ever heard of a game called Torawere no Palma? It was a mobile game from a few years back that was released on Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 12th. I had no idea this existed but saw it in my news feed when I turned my Switch on yesterday!!

The story: A trial of true love and lost memories A dramatic, suspenseful love story

The story begins 5 years ago

After noticing a dropped a book while walking one evening, you help a young man named Chiaki, who was passed out in a nearby alley

But, that was the day that changed your normal, everyday life To visit the man you helped you go to an isolated island, where you learn he’s being doubted

Chiaki knows important information about particular incident. You are asked help him regain his memories, in the hopes of solving the case.

As become his counselor, you must face the truth of his memories……

“I don’t…love you.”

The main cast member is Ishikawa Kaito as Chiaki! There’s a security guard at the facility that’s voiced by Sakurai Takahiro!!!!! As well as a part-timer at the library, voiced by Suzuki Tatsuhisa!!! There’s actually more but these were the only seiyuu listed in the official Capcom channel video. I have a post with the actual video coming up!
