I was trying to send you a question on your main blog, but the ask box doesn’t seem to be open??? Maybe it’s just a my phone thing. Anyway, I’m working on some fan art, and had some very important few questions , because I don’t want to misrepresent your characters. Does Kevin ever dance with Crazylegs? Is he any good? What sort of relationship do they have? Is there touchy-feelyness? Sorry if this is prying too much, but they’re lovely and I don’t want to do them injustice.

我还记得自己第一次看到《皮囊》（Skins）预告片的情景。那年我17岁，带着满嘴牙套，笨拙的肢体永远不知道该往哪儿放。一天晚上，我按照惯例收看扣人心弦的最新一集《圣橡镇少年》（Hollyoaks），突然，电视里的画面变成了慢镜头，在闪烁的聚光灯下，荧光色内衣包裹的性感肉体彼此亲热，嗑药后空洞失焦的眼神催促着我加入这场仿佛是史上最棒的家庭派对，伴随着 Gossip “Standing in the Way of Control”的癫狂节拍，一切都已蓄势待发。

我从没见过这样的电视剧。虽然我和其他人一样看过《橘子郡男孩》（The OC）和《吉尔莫女孩》（Gilmore Girls），但这些都是针对青少年的。剧中的美国少男少女个个家财万贯，发型一丝不乱，通常都由二十岁出头的帅哥和美女扮演。《皮囊》却另辟蹊径。主角们长着青春痘，穿着和普通人一样糟糕的 H&M 服饰，说的台词也很接地气。尽管剧集确实有些离谱夸张，不过超现实主义的背后是大多数英国青少年真正感同身受的故事：失去童贞，饮食紊乱，父母的婚姻破裂，应付无聊的课程，但你却不会觉得它在刻意说教。换句话说，这就像是我们的生活，只是因为更加有趣而被搬上了荧幕。

Godmode Pokemon AU - Villainous Team

I've been thinking about this yesterday while playing Pokémon Stadium 2. Since Pokemon stuff has been brought up a few times in the Godmode Skype chat, I feel a Pokemon AU is only a logical conclusion. XD  If there was a Pokémon AU of the Godmode AU, there'd have to be a villainous team, right?

Here's my idea of how that team would be made up (thanks to ParzifalsJudgment for helping me out with this):

Amber - boss Brutus - underboss Kevin, Tony, and Larry - captains Whim, Stage, and Fyre - soldiers

Followed by various grunts. As for the team name, I still can't find one that I'm happy with, but I get the feeling it wouldn't actually have "Team" anywhere in the name. That said, my placeholder/working name is "La Famiglia" because it's Italian for "The Family" and it fits the Mafia thing the Family has going on.

Just a crazy idea that came into my head, and I don't know what else I can do with this.  But hey, it's something for everyone, so anyone else can pitch in, throw in crazy ideas, and just do whatever with it.  So what do you guys think so far?

Here's my first contribution to the Godmode AU! My lovely friend Amber helped me create my Godmode Grimmwynd, so in return, I gave her a lovely fic, just for her. I hope you enjoy!

Don't know who Amber and the Family are? Look at the sources for Amber here, and for the four members in the fic here. I also put in a small scene that she drew right at the beginning.

Synopsis: When Amber chooses the wrong bank to rob, the simplest plan in the world suddenly includes several vampire cows, a minivan, a blue suit, and… a movie cameo?

The Goddess Amber and the Unlucky Bank Job

             “Hey Boss, I got you a coffee.”

            “Thanks, Brutus.”

            Amber, Goddess of Greed and Boss of the Family, a mafia gang strode confidently down a long hallway alongside her best friend, confidante, and right-hand man, a 7 foot tall long forgotten God of the Hunt named Brutus.

            “Is everyone in the conference room?”

            “Yes, Boss.”

            “Good. Thank you, Brutus.” They paused outside the double doors leading to the rest of the Family and to today’s mission. “Let’s get started.”

            She opened the doors and walked in, followed closely by Brutus. Amber took her seat at the head of the table, and Brutus joined the three other men that the goddess considered the best men in the business.

            Not that she would ever tell them that to their faces, of course.

            “Alright boys, today’s goal is a simple one. We’re gonna rob a bank. Easy shit,” she stated plainly. “However, First Bank down on Main Street is holding 500 bars of gold.” She paused as Kevin and Tony whistled appreciatively and Larry got a hungry grin on his face. “This gold is worth a quarter of a billion dollars and most importantly, I want it.

            “Is there a plan, Boss?” Kevin asked. Amber grinned evilly.

            “There sure is. We go to the bank. We hold it up. We take the gold. We leave. Kill any resistance. We shouldn’t have any problems. Let’s get going.”

              “What the FUCK happened to the truck?” Amber screeched. “Look at this!” The four hitmen looked at the mangled remains of their favorite white and grey truck. It wasn’t glamorous, but it blended in well when they needed a certain type of anonymity, and it looks like it had been, quite literally, placed in a blender for a few hours.

            “There was a problem with the job with the Nigerians two days ago,” Tony Crazylegs offered. Amber turned her glare onto him.

            “I thought we got those Ghost Parrots. You told me I have Ghost Parrots now, but you NEGLECTED TO MENTION THE TRUCK IS UNREPAIRABLE.”

            “Sorry Boss.”

            “Damn right, you’re sorry.” Amber sighed as the other three men glared at Tony, who looked awkwardly into the distance. “Alright, what other cars do we have?”

            Brutus cleared his throat. “Most of the cars were taken by the rest of the crew to handle the plan in Niagara Falls.”

            “The one with pirates?” Larry ventured. Brutus nodded. Amber seethed quietly.

            “Thank you for telling us what cars we don’t have. That’s so HELPFUL. The question was, however, which cars DO WE HAVE?” No one looked at her until Larry said: “Well… I have my car.”

            “THANK YOU LOCKJAW. Finally. That’ll work, let’s get going.”

            “Um well actually-” Amber stared him into silence.

            “What is it now, Larry?” After he sighed, she stalked off towards the employee parking lot. There was only one car in the entire lot.

            It was a dark grey minivan. Amber and the others walked towards it, but when Kevin looked up from his phone, he snorted. “Why the hell do you have a minivan, Larry?” The man in question spun around, murder on his face.

            “YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH MY MINIVAN, KABUKI? I LIKE THE RED ONE A LOT BETTER. MAYBE I CAN PAINT IT WITH YOUR BLOOD-” Amber punched both men in the face, hard. They covered their faces and groaned while Brutus and Tony looked on.

            “SHUT THE HELL UP. THE MINIVAN IS FINE. LET’S JUST GO ALREADY.”

            “Yes Ma’am,” they chorused.

              “Oh my god please don’t kill me,” the bank manager whined. Amber crouched on a desk, positioning her fire axe underneath the man’s throat. Kevin was holding two people up near the 20 foot high ceiling with his freaky tendon powers and the other three were standing over the bank patrons lying on the marble floor of the bank lobby.

            “Just take us to the vault. I hear you been holding some gold for me,” Amber purred, eyes wide, staring into the bank manager’s soul.

            “No no no no no you really don’t want to do that-” Amber pressed the axe against his neck until he went silent, eyes wide and breathing heavy with fear.

            “Take. Me. To. The. Gold.” Finally, he nodded, and Amber released him. “Big Bro and Lockjaw! You two come with me. Crazylegs and Kabuki, you stay here! Any one tries to resist…” She trailed off, looking one woman crying silently, in the eye. “Make sure they die screaming.”

            The bank manager led the three through several doorways to a large round vault. When he hesitated, Amber reminded him with her axe why they were there. He unlocked the vault door to show them two small stacks of gold. He stood nearby hands wringing. Amber guarded him, as Brutus and Larry stacked the heavy gold onto a cart.

            “Wait a minute, boys,” Amber suddenly said. They stood back as she meandered over to the cart and pulled out one block of gold on top. She held it easily in one hand and tossed it around a little, eyes furrowed. “Doesn’t this one seem a little light to you?” she asked the bank manager evilly. He blanched.

            “I’m so sorry-” was all he managed to get off before the bar of gold exploded in Amber’s hands.

            “Boss!” the two big men yelled. Amber coughed. Blue paint was splattered all over the room. One had managed to hit Brutus across the face. However, this was nothing compared to the damage Amber had sustained. She spat paint out of her mouth, shaking with anger, eyes literally blazing.

            “YOU LITTLE SHIT,” she began, stalking up to the manager, shaking and weeping with fear. “YOU ARE THE MOST INEPT BANK MANAGER I HAVE EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. LARRY! GET ME A GOD DAMN RAG OR SOMETHING.” He ran out of the room. “YOU!” she screamed, pointing at the weeping man as Brutus looked on, horrified and amused at the same time. “You only use the paint bombs WHEN THE POLICE NEED TO KNOW WHO STOLE THE MONEY. YOU COULD HAVE JUST TOLD THEM ‘Oh yeah, it was Amber and her goons” AND THEN THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN. NOW LOOK!” She pointed down at her suit. Italian cut with a subtle weave and a purple silk shirt imported from Mongolia. It was covered in blue paint, as was Amber’s face and hair. “THIS IS MY FAVORITE SUIT YOU FUCKER. LARRY! WHERE THE HELL IS MY RAG?”

            Suddenly, she walked up to him, grabbed the manager’s face in her hands, and quickly twisted it. A resounding SNAP echoed throughout the room as he fell to the floor dead. Larry ran into the room, holding two entire rolls of paper towels. Amber grabbed one and started wiping her face and hair desperately as Brutus sighed. Amber stalked out of the vault and the two men grabbed a cart each. “KABUKI, CRAZYLEGS, LET’S GO ALREADY!” Amber yelled, dripping paint.

            “Yes Ma’am,” they said, following Brutus and Larry out the door. The five stopped on the busy street, looking at an empty parking space. Cars and trucks honked and weaved around each other, and pedestrians were giving them confused and fearful looks.

            “Not AGAIN! WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CAR, LARRY?” He threw his hands up in frustration.

            “I don’t know, Boss! Someone stole my car!” Kevin sniggered quietly and mumbled something to Tony, who grinned. Amber whirled around and stabbed a finger Kevin’s chest.

            “Something funny, Kevin? Would you like to share with the class, Tony?” she asked, deathly quiet.

            “N- no, Ma’am!” they stammered, suddenly fearful.

            “THEN GO GET A CAR! WE HAVE SEVEN TONS OF GOLD, WHAT, DID YOU THINK WE WERE GOING TO WALK HOME?” They ran towards the street, looking for a van or truck that could hold seven tons of gold and two tons of muscly goon. “THAT ONE, TONY! YES, THAT ONE WITH THE TRAILER!” The aforementioned trailer smelled strongly of methane, and had echoing “Moos” emanating from it.

            “BOSS, THERE’S COWS IN IT ALREADY,” Tony yelled in desperation.

            “THEN KICK THE COWS OUT YOU MORON!” she screamed, eyes blazing again. Tony kicked the lock and broke open the doors. He wandered into the trailer while Kevin punched out the unfortunate man driving the truck hauling the trailer and threw him onto the ground. Tony shooed the cows into traffic. Cars swerved and honked as cows mooed and ran about. A few meandered towards Amber’s direction, but she ignored them.

            “All clear, Boss!” Amber looked at the two goons beside and nodded at them. They pushed the carts containing the gold towards the trailer, and Kevin and Tony helped them load up the seven tons of gold, breathing through their mouths to avoid the smell of cow farts. Larry growled when he stepped in a cow pie. Kevin had to hide a grin.

            Amber watched them worked, and glanced at a cow nearby, eating a tuft of grass. She scoffed at it. Suddenly, she could feel it lick her pants leg. She glanced at it, shaking her leg and moving a little bit so it would leave her alone. It licked again, so she pushed it. It bit her arm. “Hey!” she yelled. Her eyes widened when she felt the… surely they weren’t… fangs?! She punched it in the face, summoning her axe. She inspected her arm. Yup, those were fang marks. Two more cows stalked her, and Amber suddenly realized that their eyes were red.

            “GOD DAMN IT! THEY’RE VAMPIRE COWS!” she yelled. The men looked at her, her bleeding arm, and ran towards her as she chopped the head off an attacking cow. There were about five remaining cows, and they were coming towards them fast. Tony kicked one, and got bitten in return. He had to kick it about five more times before it finally went down. Kevin tried to rip one’s head off, but only managed to strain his arm. Amber chopped two more cows in half before yelling, “GO GO GO! KEVIN DRIVES, I GET SHOTGUN, THE REST OF YOU NEED TO GET IN THE TRAILER TO GUARD THE GOLD GO GO GO!” They piled into the trailer as Kevin dove into the driver’s seat. A cow threw itself against the driver’s side door as he hit the gas and took off.

            Amber sighed and rubbed her temples as they drove. “I swear if one more thing goes wrong today, I’m gonna murder somebody.”

            “You already did, Boss,” Kevin stated as he sped up.

            Amber nodded. “That’s right, I did. I forgot. I also killed three vampire cows. I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting that one. She looked in the side mirror, pulling sadly at the paint covering her golden red hair. Suddenly, a police siren resounded, followed by two more. Amber tilted the mirror to look behind her and sighed. There were three police cruisers behind them and a few more even further behind. When Kevin cursed, she glanced in front of her. Four more police cruisers blocked the road. They could try to break through the barricade, but that would likely destroy the car and the trailer, and while it was likely that no one would die or be seriously injured, it would make the job a lot harder.

            “This is a lot more police than I expected,” Kevin muttered. Amber nodded and her eyebrows furrowed even deeper.

            “Take the 7th street exit and try the bridge.”

            “Loop around to Western Fields and beneath the 14th Avenue tunnel?” he asked.

            “Exactly.”

            “Gotcha, Boss.” He sped up as the approached 5th and 6th street, and at the last second took the exit. They heard yells of protest from the trailer and some thuds as the other three were thrown against the side. The police followed them flawlessly.

            “FUCK,” Amber replied. “I hoped that would lose SOME of them!” Kevin floored the gas as he tried to outmaneuver the cops. The trailer door flipped open. Tony leapt from the open container and crushed two cruisers beneath his feet before jumping back into the trailer. Three more cruisers appeared, sirens blaring. The cops started shooting at them. “They’re shooting at us now? Are they insane?” Tony jumped from the trailer again and crushed the three cars. He jumped back into the trailer. Five more cars appeared, and now they could hear the noises of a helicopter. “What the FUCK IS GOING ON?” Amber screeched. “THIS IS A HELL OF A LOT MORE EFFORT THAN THE CITY POLICE USUALLY GIVE.”

            Kevin swerved through city traffic, heading towards the river, and the bridge. Finally, it appeared in the distance. “Are those FUCKING TANKS?” Kevin asked. Amber growled.

            “Turn left at Harris!” Kevin obliged, turning quickly. They were driving alongside the waterfront. “Wait a minute! There’s another bridge!” she exclaimed.

            “Another bridge? What do you mean THERE’S ANOTHER BRIDGE?! There’s NOT  another bridge in this city!” Kevin leaned forward as the mysterious appearing bridge soared into view. “I don’t remember there being another bridge!” he yelled, confused as anyone would be with a mysterious appearing bridge coming out of nowhere right when they needed one.

            “Who the fuck CARES JUST TAKE THE BRIDGE!”

            “YES MA’AM!” Kevin swerved right, and onto the new bridge. A few seconds later, Amber’s phone rang. It was Brutus.

            “What.”

            “Where did this bridge come from?”

            “Why does everyone care where the bridge came from? We needed a bridge. There’s a bridge.”

            “Uh-huh. And the cops? Who are, very conveniently, not following us anymore?”

            Amber thought for a moment. “Kevin must have lost them.”

            “All ten cruisers and two helicopters because Kevin turned right?”

            “Why the fuck are you asking me? I don’t fucking know, Brutus. I don’t look a gift bridge in the mouth.” Kevin leaned over, phone raised in his left hand, camera pointed towards them. “DAMN IT KEVIN NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR SELFIES KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD-”

            Then the world turned blindingly white. Time stopped and everything went silent.

              “Boss! Boss!” Tony was holding an unconscious Amber afloat. Wait. Afloat? Was she swimming? She tried to move. Oh god everything hurt.

            “Tony?”

            “Oh thank god,” he murmured. “Are you alright?”

            “Y-yeah.” Tony waited a few more moments, and let her go. She looked around. The bridge was scrap heap. The other three were in the river alongside them. “What happened?”

            “The bridge exploded,” Larry replied quietly. Amber blinked. The men waited as few moments as Amber’s face changed colors and her expressions switched from confusion to understanding and then to lividity.

            “GOD DAMN IT! GOODBYE GOLD! IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU!” she yelled. Kevin sighed sadly. “You know what, let’s go home. I don’t care anymore.”

            “Boss?” Larry asked, confused. She glared at him.

            “Yes, we lost 250 million dollars’ worth of gold, and I don’t care. Shut the fuck up. Today SUCKED. Let’s GO ALREADY. I need to get inside. All this fresh air is getting into my lungs.” They started swimming for shore. Around them, the ruined rubble of the mysterious appearing bridge smoldered and steamed. None of them could hear the sounds of sirens.

              Several weeks later, Brutus knocked on Amber’s office door. “Enter,” she stated, bored.

            “I brought you coffee, Boss.”

            “Thank you, Brutus.” He placed the white cardboard cup on her desk and hesitated. “Is there something else?”

            “Yeah. Some of the boys did some research on that bank we robbed a few weeks ago. Apparently it belongs to a local luck goddess.” Amber put her head in her hands.

            “That explains that. That’s so stupid. How did no one catch that?” she sighed. “Thank you.” She started to sign some papers. When he still didn’t leave, she sighed again. “What is it now?”

            “Well…” he hesitated. Amber glared.

            “Spit it out, Brutus, this isn’t like you.” He refused to look her in the eye.

            “We’re in a movie.” Amber jumped and accidentally hit her coffee cup. It tipped over, spilling its contents all over her desk and papers. Brutus looked desperately for something to dry the desk with.

            “Forget the desk, Brutus. What do you mean, exactly, WE’RE IN A MOVIE?” Brutus gulped as he started to explain.

            “That strange bridge we were on wasn’t really a bridge. It was a movie set that they were using for some big blockbuster movie that came out last night. They used the shot that we were in because, well, they couldn’t really build the bridge again.” Amber stared at him, eyes large.

              That evening, the five of them, plus several other small-time members of the Family went to see Instant Glory IV: Duke of Payback. Tony doesn’t like it at all, since the dance off scene was half-assed. Brutus liked the car chase scene, where the Duke shoots the corrupt police force with a rocket launcher from his car. Kevin gets chewed out by Amber because he tries to livetweet the entire damn movie and his phone was lighting up the entire theater. Plus, as Amber said “No one will respect us anymore if they heard we were in Instant Glory IV, so cut that shit out right fucking now.” Larry never admits it, but he liked the stupid romance a lot more than he thought he would. Too bad that after she died, she was raised from the dead thanks to modern medicine and joined the corrupt police force, leaving the Duke heartbroken. The Duke would carry on another day though.

            And Amber? She loved it. She got the movie on DVD, and has a poster hidden somewhere in her house. She’ll never admit it though.

Alright so I have been working on this for AWHILE. I really wanted to do a police lineup style to see everyone together! It’s not perfect but I tried to get everyone to their heights. So starting left to right first is Larry Lockjaw, my personal favorite <3 he came out a lot better than I expected! Tony “Crazylegs” Audino and Kevin “Doorman” Aiza the best couple, I am super excited to see these two goofs together! Gertrude Addie “The Spear” she likes to hit things! Also I have no idea what her shoes actually look like so….she got boots! Of course center stage we have our fish boss Eustal Apelli “King of the underworld” what can I say? He’s amazingly terrifying and I am looking forward to seeing him again! “Big Bro” Brutus Orion, I feel like other than Eustal he is the other person keeping this crazy family in line, also Kevin is totally not afraid of him! Agatha Rooks don’t know much about her but look how SMOL she is! I don’t know how this lady lives with all these literal giants. Marcy Breeze seems to be the gangs token human, no idea how she got mixed up with these monsters. Edwardo Aiza he’s Kevin’s cousin and probably regrets all his life choices that have lead him to be here. Olivia Heart loves drama and handing out naps to kids.

I really love these characters and am so glad I found Backlash.
