Just got BRUTALLY queerbaited by Stranger Things. Was wondering if you had any suggestions for good m/m fics to help ease the pain?

Sure, yeah, I can help with that. Let me look at my repertoire...

Under the Table and Dreaming by hollycomb - An amazing Sid/Andy fic from the Toy Story verse. And if that sounds weird to you, I still encourage you to give it a shot. It's genuinely a gay romance novel that tells a sweeping lifelong love story, and it's great.

Off the Record by Hella - It's Loki/Tony Stark post-Avengers film, and I usually don't like that ship but this one does it really well and keeps both Loki and Tony spot on in-character better than the movies. I like it because there's a lot of well written action and villain stuff in addition to the romance.

To Destroy or To Conquer by Eternal_Love_Song - This one is Doctor Doom/Loki, one of my OTPs, and it's not necessarily romance though the shipping is there. It's more philosophical and a character study on those two, and I like that kind of stuff.

Silver Alloys by JCMorrigan - This one is X-Men Evolution-verse and features both Lance/Pietro and Toad/Blob. You've got cutesy romance stuff, a little angst, and criminal found family fun.

And They Were Roommates also by JCMorrigan - This one's Jumba/Pleakly from Lilo & Stitch. This one works as a great companion to the franchise and the TV show showing off how their relationship evolved "off screen."

Today I Brew, Tomorrow I Bake by Imadra Blue - This one is Graham Humbert/Mr. Gold from Once Upon a Time. It was also written immediately after 1x07 was written, so it is very much AU for everything that follows. But I like the fairytale retelling aspect and the worldbuilding in addition to the romantic stuff.

Unfortunately I don't have anything else to offer. I *had* a favorite Stony fic but it has long since vanished and seems to exist only in my memory.

But I also am going to take this chance to plug my own writing.

Check out Quite a Glittering Assemblage by GAvillain - not strictly M/M but there are a lot of M/M couples in it. Doom/Loki, Jafar/Hook, Russell Edgington/Steve Newlin, Sid Phillips/Kieran Wilcox, Arthur Watts/James Ironwood, Hans/Demyx, Imperious/Caleb Covington, and more! It's a pretty fun ride if I do say so myself XD

One Piece Official Puma Collaboration

Eiichiro Oda's One Piece first began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. It has since been collected into over 80 volumes, and has been a critical and commercial success worldwide with many of the volumes breaking printing records in Japan. The manga has even set a Guinness World Record for the most copies published for the same comic book by a single author, and is the best-selling manga series worldwide with over 430 million copies sold. The series still ranked number one in manga sales in 2018, which surprised fans of major new entries.

One Piece is making waves in more than a few ways this year. Not only is the manga wading further into its on-going arc by the day, but the anime just surfaced with the Wano arc as well. And in a matter of days, One Piece will take an ever bigger leap ahead when its next film goes live. One Piece: Stampede will debut next week, and it seems the anime has a special gift in store to hype the release.

PUMA‘s Japanese team took to Twitter to announce a soon-to-drop One Piece collaboration.

This comes after Pokémon GO recently announced a crossover eventthat will celebrate One Piece‘s 22nd anniversary. One Piece Stampede – a feature-length anime fantasy action film — will also release on the same day as the supposed PUMA collaboration.

One Piece Stampede was recently celebrated in a UNIQLO UT collaboration, which takes inspiration from the film’s plotline seeing “the Straw Hat Crew receive an invitation to [the Pirates Festival] from its host Buena Festa who is known as the Master of Festivities,”  according to Fuji TV.

After all, Puma has decided to collaborate with One Piece, and fans can only imagine what will come from the crossover.

Recently, Puma and One Piece teased the crossover online. A simple black-and-white graphic was released which featured the Puma logo along with One Piece's sign. The date August 9 was included on the promo which refers to the release of One Piece: Stampede, the anime's next film. So as you can imagine, fans are very curious about what's to come.

After all, Puma is a well-known clothing brand which sneaker heads are known to gravitate towards. Their classic shoes can get pricey as you look into more collectible pieces, and fans are curious if One Piece will explore those high-end options with this brand deal.

Of course, this is not the first time One Piece has struck out with a shoe collection. A few years back saw Skechers undertake such a project when its first wave of One Piece sneakers went live. The collection used all the same sneaker models but with varying color schemes to match pirates like Monkey D. Luffy, Tony Tony Chopper, and more. Now, it seems Puma will give its take on the anime, so fans will be able to pick between the brand crossovers before too long.

The night up until that point had gone rather well, in Robin’s opinion. She’d gone out to a club not far from Queen Apartments and ran into a girl she’d met a while ago back when she was still nursing a limp. She’d thought Toni was attractive when she met her, but that hadn’t been her best day either. She had been grumpy and annoyed at the world, as well at herself and her leg for going and getting itself stabbed. Now luckily, she was all healed up and as physically able as she had been before the ordeal. 

Robin was far from a light weight, but that night she’d managed to get herself decently tipsy while partying it up with Toni. She enjoyed the others company and had moved onto the dance floor when they began playing Trap Queen, pulling Toni along. “This is my fucking jam, we gotta dance.” She grinned as she turned and began to grind against the girl. “I'm like hey, wassup, hello, Seen yo pretty ass soon as you came in the doe’, I just wanna chill, got a sack for us to roll . . .” She was singing slightly off key when she turned toward the brunette and grinned at her. “Toni, you’re fun. Don’t you think we should go ahead and ditch this place? I could introduce you to my stove if you want.” She joked. ( @toninewlin )

Who are your closest friends?

“That’s kind of redundant in my opinion. I mean if I was to consider someone a friend then they’d have to be some sort of close. The friend who I am closest to is Nev, even tough he and I may not be on the best of terms right now. Other people I consider my friends are Toni, Kaleb, Xo and Walker. Though that’s not to say I’m opposed to having more friends.”

BACKGROUND : While she didn’t know her parents well, seeing as they left her after a year she was born. Toni was soon raised in a fairly good family. Soon to believe that the family was truly her’s. She didn’t fit in right away with the family growing up, she has a bit of a temper but seeing as the mother is well known in the wizarding world wanted what was best for Toni. The son is a few years older and soon became a brother to her. All of the pure blood family were Gryffindor. They were well respected and no one would question them, however when Toni first went into Howgarts she questioned why she was Gryffindor in the first place. She also had a lot of questions on who her real parents were. 

The family that raised her didn’t know much. But diving into some dark arts and finding out her real past, Toni’s muggle of a mother had been killed by the father after birth and soon ran off. Never to be found again. Toni has her interest in the dark arts of magic and is a Chaser for the Quidditch games just like her older brother.
