It’s really such a shame there isn’t a version of ‘Tomodachi Life’ that’s less Inherently Heteronormative (…is that too ‘gentle’ of a word for a game that Literally Cannot Acknowledge the Possibility of Gay People Existing?) because it’s unique qualities as a Crackship Generator have really not been replicated by anything since.

So I have Aziraphale and Crowley as Miis on my Island. Since they didn’t end up together (and I don’t even think they’re friends yet), I have decided in my head that this is all happening mid-Ineffable Divorce and their Tomodachi Life Relationships are just their weird probably-extremely-inadvisable rebounds.

Which is very funny since Aziraphale is dating one of my OCs from my webcomic @justasidekickcomics- Elizabeth Wakahisa

Used to be optimistic and super-excitable about a scientific subject she was working on (in her case genetics) but then the general injustice of the world and also some Horrible Traumatic Events made her extremely sullen, snarky and cynical

Basically, Aziraphale got together with the Not-Crowley Crowley-est person on the entire Island. That Angel has a Type.

So when I put Crowley and Aziraphale on my Tomodachi Life Island, I knew the chance they'll end up specifically marrying each other was very slim so I started to think of their relationships as being, like, Weird Awkward Rebounds taking place during the Divorce Era between Season 2 and 3.

Which ended up creating some really funny scenarios in my head considering who they did end up marrying, with Aziraphale ending up with Elizabeth Wakahisa, a supervillain OC of mine who is... well....

Rather than just explain it all with words, I actually made a comic about it!
