Omg the Audrey tea, what a blast from the past. I forgot that existed. I took a tomdaya fandom time out just after the Audrey tea. I was weirdly upset about to strangers break up. I was over joyed at the reunion but didn’t one back to the fandom till last year.

In answer to your question, no, neither of them ever discussed Tomdaya.

It was always suspected that JE didn't treat Z that well, but that was based on Tumblr tea (some sent to my own blog), fan observations, and just plain looking at JE's past dating history. But there was never anything actually concrete.

The fact that Z paid him dust after their breakup though kind of made fans suspect stuff.

JE didn't outright call Z "boring" to my knowledge. The only thing I recall him saying was this really snarky comment in an interview during the TKB2 press tour that one key to keep a long distance relationship going strong is by "picking up the phone and calling every once in a while, instead of just sending memes" (loosely paraphrasing) 👀 lol.

Fans speculated that JE was talking about Z, and some of us surmised that maybe Z had lost interest in him and was just doing the bare minimum coz she wasn't really in love with him like that. When you can easily lose interest in someone when they are no longer there with you, and it's out of sight, out of mind, that's a sign (imo) that the relationship was mostly just PHYSICAL (which, most rebounds ARE), and that there was really nothing all that deep holding you two together.

I think when JE skipped town during the covid breakout (understandably), I think Z started to think more clearly, and realized that she still missed Tom, and wasn't really into JE like that. He was just a physical fling. She probably checked out. But I also think she must have felt that he did her wrong in some kind of way, because she acted so mad at him after their breakup lol. If it was just a matter of her realizing that she wasn't in love with him and she broke it off, I don't think she would have been acting so salty. I think he must have either mistreated her, or she felt slighted in some way, cuz she has acted like he doesn't even exist for years and they WORK together rofl.🤣

I assumed "Perez" is part of his family, but maybe not super directly, cause I don't think he just picked up that last name cause he liked it or because it's one of the most common Latin American last names, lol.

okay last thing. it IS a family name. his maternal grandmother he said that in multiple interviews. but that said, none of his siblings share the name. all public information about him before tkb2 is just Zakhar.

I would like your opinion on this please 🥹 I read somewhere else that according to someone "it's bad" that Taylor hasn't had any other films in 2 years and that his agent should work harder on that one. I do not agree? I mean, in my opinion it was also a conscious choice not to make films until the release of rwrb, I highly doubt he hasn't had any kind of proposal in 2 years or been able to audition. I think the fact that in these two years he focused so much on fashion was a conscious choice to make his name known around as much as possible. If we think about it, the popularity he acquired this year when he only came out with one film is very huge, so actually they worked very well and he is perfectly perceived as an actor and model despite not having had any more projects. We know we will have something in the new year and I can't wait but in my opinion the work they are doing with him now is excellent. Am I wrong? 🥲 What do you think about it?

I agree with you, it’s not bad at all.

First and foremost, because he’s doing whatever the fuck he wants and not what’s the Internet wants. Not working with or knowing him makes it difficult to know exactly all the how-s and why-s but if I had to guess, here are a few of my thoughts about it.

It’s good to remember that movies take FOREVER to be made between the initial talks and the final products. He could have signed or be in talks for things and we wouldn’t know about them before 6, 12 or many more months.

We also know that he had some heavy personal stuff going on in his family this year and I imagine that he dedicated time to his loved ones (and I hope to himself and his health) so he might not has been 100% through the whole year.

All of that being said, my guess is that it’s possible many of the projects/roles that were handed to him before RWRB were… not so good? First and mainly, because he’s so new at this. Also probably because having started as a model and being insanely beautiful very often don’t help to be taken seriously as an actor at first. Perhaps, also because himself didn’t feel confident enough in his acting skills to pursue roles that were actually good for him.

If he was tired of playing the dumb hot guy and wasn’t interested in the roles he could have taken and was growing more confident on his acting shoes with the roles he played in TKB2 and 3 and, obviously, becoming our lord and savior Alex Claremont-Diaz, maybe he became a bit more picky with the characters he wanted to play. I guess having other jobs prevented him from struggling for money so he would be right to be picky in my opinion.

The way his status changed over the past 6+ months has certainly opened more doors for him. Doors leading to many more projects without doubt. Most of them probably still being bad (but more numerous) because that's the way things are and he’s still relatively new even if he’s a big new now. And somewhere in the middle of all of these, there are probably a few exciting things might or might not become actual things. It’s a long and tiring process and if he’s being mature enough to take his time and not rush into the first stupid things just to publicly exist, it’s a very good sign. Having the choice to take time is a luxury for an actor and I sincerely wish that for him. It’ll be good for his career and his mental health on the long run.

Beside, the strike ended like 2 minutes ago and many actors/actresses didn’t announce new things since then so there is really nothing to be worry about for me :)

That, and for all we know, maybe he has signed for a potential sequel of a certain thing, meaning he’ll be busy for months ahead and working on other things could have been postponed for a while, if he made it a priority.

Sorry I tried to be as clear as possible but I’m not sure I’ve succeeded in writing down my feelings about it? I’ve rushed it a bit since I need to go butter some canapés and obviously everything is my very own opinion and not a statement of absolute truth but I hope it’s a decent answer to your question at the very least.

another anon here! I don't necessarily think that hiding photos or anything like that would be a red flag. I understand more how to make things even more private, since it was to be imagined that with the release of the film him would become popular with the public, since the book is very famous, so I see it more as a way of separating the private from the professional.

Hmm yeah, I can see how it could be more of a separation thing between lives (I saw he started deleting stuff after TKB2), but again i just don't fully think that the only intention was to be "private", ya know?

I just don't think he needs to fully come out to understand that he's queer, but it's also not being outed... because those were once public pictures... sorry if my brain is not communicating this well

I get second-hand embarrassment when some stans start insulting Kaia under her comments in Z posts. We don't have any evidence that she hooked up with JE while he was with Z. We just know that he attended a couple of events while he was Z that Kaia also attended and he hung out with Kaia and her friends. Then when he returned from quarantine in Australia he went directly to Kaia. But it seems Z and JE had broken up at least a month before those events. These fans forget that JE had his then gf Cari visit him in South Africa in June-early July 2019 when he was shooting TKB2. Then when he returned to LA in mid-August, he went to Zs bday party and a week later he was flying to Greece to join Z in her family vacation. Just like they shouldn't comment under Zs posts calling her a cheater for dating JE shortly after he broke up with Cari (or told Z he had broken up with Cari. It's possible he ghosted Cari rather than officially break up with her), they shouldn't be doing the same with Kaia. Both know what JE really is and they've moved on with their lives

you mentioned that tzp has archived posts before…..does he do it often? i have never seen anyone talk about it before which is why i was buying into the idea that it might be related to a new project being announced soon, but if it’s not a rare occurrence then the correlation isn’t necessarily there…..

i wouldn't say it's common, but it's not unheard of. The most blatant example is looking at his feed, his earliest post is 2019, when he was cast in TKB2. Then you take a look at his tags and they go as far back as 2012. There's a whole seven years of activity missing on his feed. per work stuff, personal stuff i'm sure.

but the number he went down do is interesting. 333.

seems like something he'd do. maybe he is manifesting something.
