ONE: Henry doesn't find out until much later, but when Alex was first approached about taking on tailoring work for HRH Prince Henry of Wales, Shaan gave him the full NDA—the one that gets given to Oxford hookups and guests staying at Kensington—not the slightly more abridged one external contractors and other service providers receive. If pressed, he would of course insist it was a simple mistake. (Shaan does not make mistakes like that.)

TWO: The first time they meet, Alex spends 40% of the time ripping the absolute piss out of whoever was tailoring Henry's suits before Alex came along, 25% of the time talking shit about the entire concept of a monarchy and everything he hates about living in the UK, and the remaining 35% of the time moving his hands around Henry's body as he takes measurements in a way that is both completely professional and utter torture for Henry.

THREE: The flirting never stops. It's overwhelming: half the time Henry is half-naked, or Alex is on his knees, or both, and Henry just has to grit his teeth and not react.

FOUR: Henry and Shaan arrive one day, a few months in, with instructions from Buckingham: ensure that Henry's depression-related weight loss isn't noticeable, because it isn't seemly. The resulting stream of absolutely infuriated Spanglish on Henry's behalf is the moment Henry falls in love for real.

FIVE: It's not the innuendo, in the end, that goads Henry into finally kissing Alex. It's the look in his eye one day when he smoothes the lines of Henry's suit jacket into place, the way he calls Henry beautiful with no hint of a tease in his expression.

do we think Erika slept with van because of what june told her about her neighbor that made her feel seen and beautiful. Van does that for her, do we see that going anywhere or is it just get getting back on the horse so to speak before perusing jacob?

mm i was pondering over this ever since watching the ep and after reading one of the interviews with Ashleigh (who plays Ericka) my thoughts are basically that she wanted to sleep with Van because he was safe and had the same mindset about caring for the person you're sleeping with (and also probably yeah, to get back in the saddle before turning towards Jacob)

but as far as the show told us Ericka doesn't know that Van is in love with her, she just thinks "well, we could all use some winding down, we're friends, we work together, we get along, it'll be fine" and then come the issue of it meaning more to Van than to her

but this show always goes down kind of unexpected avenues when it comes to personal relationships, so i could even see them go and make Ericka fall in love with Van through their casual relationship, but of course it could all blow up horribly, since Van went into it knowing that Ericka had/has feelings for Jacob (they made sure to remind us during the scene too)

but Jacob seems to be on a less emotional level, like, he clearly likes Ericka, but it doesn't seem to go all that deep with him... so idk if we'll see Van and Ericka give this a proper go or just have it all blow up and then try to work around it

or in the next 5 episodes we'll see them being worked into a throuple

anyway, i genuinely don't know what to expect but i'm sure as hell here for whatever they'll do with this storyline

OOOH I LOVE THIS QUESTION bc titles are so hard

OBV disaster but we titled that in 2023 so it doesn't count but i love the full title and having a cute shorthand that i love so i love that one so much.

already over is PERFECT i agonized over that one and you rolled in with the perfect title as always.

i also really love conformation bc its perfect but i truly don't even know how it came to me (and i actually thought of that one myself! gasp!)

also boys will be boys bc its fun and cute and they used it as one of the instagram captions from the shoot the fic is about so it's perfect 😍

one of those heavily implied "did they fuck" roles with Joe and Nicky because I think TZP would have fun with that

like they need a boat and he has a boat and also he owes them something and its just FLIRTING the whole time

or maybe if we want to get all Action about it he plays one of the men that were hired to chase after the main group and works with Uma Thurman again because ahhh she's in the sequel (that was filmed 2 years ago but that fact doesn't haunt me at all)
