Touch starved and love conditioned headcanons

-Omegas have it the worst off if they’re not unconditionally loved from a young age. They exhibit signs of insecurity, anxiousness, and chronic fatigue

-Omegas will have nests full of stuffed animals and blankets and pillows just to feel some sort of comfort and warmth that they didn’t get in their childhood

-Omegas will think themselves as annoying and undeserving of love especially if they’re touch starved from a young age

-It’s hard to convince any dynamic who wasn’t unconditionally loved that people now love them unconditionally

-Therapy is a must for all dynamics who don’t fit into packs or isolate themselves

-Alphas have more violent tendencies when not shown unconditional love. They’re more likely to lash out and say things they don’t mean

-All dynamics who are touch starved and conditionally loved will be way more sensitive to discussions and will either cry more often or not at all

-Betas will close off their emotions and pretend like everything is perfectly fine when it’s really not fine. It’s hard to catch a beta in this situation off guard

-Omegas will spend more time in warmer places like in a bath or in front of a heater in the middle of summer just to feel something

*bangs hands on table* more pup headcanons because I can’t get enough of them

-Little omega pups sitting in their parents’ laps at a restaurant because they don’t want to sit in a high chair or booster seat and eating off of their parents’ plates

-Pups are soooooo sleepy! A beta pup can be in the middle of coloring and boom asleep, or an alpha pup can just decide they don’t wanna play tag anymore and just curl up on the ground and sleep.

-Sucking and biting on scent glands 🥺 they just want a lil nom; it’s really soothing for them, so if a little pup noms on your scent glands, they trust you a lot and will self soothe with that

-Little puppies sticking their thumbs in their mouths when really concentrated; omega pups with their pacifiers making the b e s t drawing for their mama

-Teenaged pups will still do things to self soothe like chewing on the corner of their pillow or biting their knuckles. They don’t wanna seem childish (especially alpha pups), but they’re still pups and scared and tired

-Pups having to go to therapy for traumatic experiences and them being too scared to talk to the psychologist so they just sit and chew on their plushie crying and wanting comfort

-Oh no pups with neglectful parents being standoffish and scared of the world; they have a special item that they keep with them at all times because that’s their comfort item 🥺

More pup headcanons because I love talking about pups~

Omega pups don’t grow out of things as quickly as their beta and alpha counterparts, so they tend to get teased. Betas and alphas will stop sucking on pacifiers at age 2/3 while Omegas will stop around 6/7. Omega pups are seen more innocent, but there’s nothing odd about seeing beta or alpha pups with pacifiers either!

Teething is brutal. It’s brutal for our normal babies now, but each dynamic has a different way of teething. Alpha pups will chew on a n y t h i n g. They get in trouble for chewing on wooden things not made for teething a lot. If you see slobber or marks on the leg of your wooden chair, you can pretty much assume it’s your alpha pup. Beta pups are the easiest to teeth. They enjoy little plastic things to chew on and like cold things. Omega pups are the worst. They’re uncomfortable and whiny and scared because their mouths hurt. Pup popsicles are a must for omega pups teething. They’ll chew on them for hours, the little popsicles stay colder longer. If you can distract the omega pup, that’s probably your best bet.

So we know USA customs, so the government is much more hands on with pup raising. They supply the first 3 years of diapers, a small basket crib, a little plush, and a bonus on the parents’ checks. (We have an idealistic idea of society so there’s no like issues with stuff like this). Both parents get as much time off as they need for a newborn pup, especially the birthing parent.

They make little pup relaxers that dissolve in a pup’s mouth just in case they get too anxious or scared. Parents mostly use them on long trips or plane rides, especially with omega pups. Omegas don’t like to be far from their homes, so omega pups are even worse with it. But some parents will abuse the relaxers, so your account tells the cashier how many relaxers you buy in a year. If you go on a trip every month, you’d get through one box in 3 months, so you don’t need to buy a lot of them unless you have a prescription.

Omega pups go one way or the other when going into kindergarden/preschool. They either hold on to their parent’s leg for dear life, having to be coerced with toys and cookies, or they’re in the middle of the puppy pile, making sure everyone is okay. (Beta and alpha pups can do this too it’s just less common!)

You’ll have pup pheromones until you hit around 25. You of course have your own scent as well, but there will be a faint scent of pup under your scent.

Headcanons about newborn and toddler pups:

Omega pups are super small while alpha pups are large and beta pups are what we think of as a normal newborn. Parents can use hand me downs for alpha and beta pups, but if they have an omega they have to get a bunch of new stuff like pacifiers and clothes and blankets, even their bottles are smaller

Omegas will breastfeed their children until around 2-3 years old, and if they hear a crying baby, they’ll start to lactate to help the other mother just incase they can’t feed their baby. It’s really annoying in modern society.

Baby pups will yip and make noises like puppies and bunnies would. Baby omegas yip the most, being the babies who want the most attention from their parents.

I need more awww pups headcanons in omegaverse…

-Omega puppies follow their older siblings around everywhere to the point of the older sibling getting irritated. If the age difference is large, a one year old omega puppy will follow around their seven, eight, nine, etc year older siblings. They grab their plushies and blankets and follow the siblings around. Just imagine a very tiny toddler holding all of their things following around big kids.

-Beta puppies are most likely to be the ones to suck their thumbs or bite on their nails. Pheromones don’t work as well on them, so it’s harder for parents to calm them down.

-Deaf omega puppies not understanding how loud their noises are, so they chirp so loud an entire restaurant can hear them. They’re the ones most likely to make noises in their sleep and move around.

-Sleepy puppies rubbing their eyes and wanting so desperately to finish what they’re doing, but they end up falling asleep on their piece of paper they’re coloring or during an episode of a show they like. The caregivers just come over and get them comfy on the couch, in their playpen, or in their bed.

-Omega pups getting scared of a thunderstorm and hiding. They’re so small so they can fit in a ton of places easily, so their caregivers will check the weather every day and if it looks like it’s going to storm, they tell the little pup to hold their hand. Alpha dads/adas putting their pup in their lap when it starts raining and wrapping them up in a blanket and saying they’re going to protect them from the storm!

-Alpha pups getting stung or bitten by bugs because they think they’re brave enough to fight them, but they don’t realize that they have to kill the bugs or let the bugs outside for them to not hurt them and they growl and swat at the bug like a wasp and end up getting stung and crying. Their omega parent coming in and killing the bug for hurting its baby. Alpha pups will stand in ant beds and wonder why it hurts, but they’re also so young so they don’t know about fire ants.

-Beta puppies afraid of the water, but not finding out until they go on a trip to the beach with their parents and they cry the instant their dad brings them into the water. The omega mom is trying to show them that water is okay and mommy and daddy won’t let the water hurt them, so the beta puppy holds the mom’s hand and stands in the water that goes up to their little knees and the mom sits down in the water and shows them there’s nothing to be afraid of and the pup sitting in the mom’s lap, trying to not panic.

-Pups having sleepovers at omega pups’ houses and them all sleeping in a big nest made by the omegas. And then one by one the pups get scared because their moms aren’t there and the sleepover ends early because one by one everyone gets picked up because they’re upset.

Chapter 5

The knuckles on Damian's hands turned white as he gripped the steering wheel with force and the artificial leather under his palms creaked pitifully.

He sat in his car for 40 minutes and could not and did not want to think, his body did not obey commands while only her smell was in his head. The smell of his steam.

He used to think that the torment was not knowing if his true mate existed in the world, but now, when he knew that she was there and lived somewhere nearby, Damian was going crazy and realized that he was ready to burn in Hell just to see her. To feel her scent again, dispersing the blood in his veins. The smell, with the help of which he felt alivefor the first time in all 17 years.

At first, having felt a strange smell and an inexplicable reaction of his wolf, Damian did not know what to think, believing that this was just an idiotic joke of his brain. He had been so used to loneliness for many years and already seemed to have reconciled himself to his fate and experienced panic, realizing that the wolf was glad to smell a couple. To tell the truth, Wayne didn't know why he was afraid, this was all new to him and he had no idea what to do with it.

Wayne didn't know what this new feeling was when he caught himself thinking that he was angry after learning that Grayson met his couple first.

The guy gripped the steering wheel with a new force, anger and something else burned his body from the inside, when he thought about Richard's hands touching his mate, his eyes saw his mate, he spoke to his mate and heard her voice, and Damian was forced to be content and rave only with a barely perceptible smell.

He was ready to personally interrogate Grayson, as long as it took and even more until he compiled a complete list of all the people he had met this week. Time, place, description of a person all this, he is ready to knock it out of him by force if it becomes necessary.

The very next day it became clear who she was. More precisely, almost nothing has become clear now. Dick, exhausted and tired from the endless questions of the evil Alpha, suddenly dug out a strange incident on the road from the depths of his consciousness. He did not remember anything important and valuable, except that the girl had strange, bright hair and he helped her with a panic attack. He didn't know the face or the name, and he didn't remember it.

The information about her attack caused Damian's parents to worry, but he dryly ignored them, turning only one thought in his head about hair. The next day, his people were already scouring the city and the search continued until now and Damian did not know a week or less had passed since that moment, but his patience was dangerously exhausted and the guy did not know how much longer he would hold out in ignorance of where his mate was.

Rumors that the heir of the Wayne family finally had a couple scattered like a flock of birds, and after the rumor reached the neighboring flocks. Damian was congratulated by other wolves, asking about how soon he would bring his mate to the pack, and he just waved away their questions, asking himself the same question.

His family called him crazy. He saw only her, his wolf felt only a couple, and this sometimes became dangerous.

Occasionally, at night, the guy woke up from the fact that he felt someone else's emotions. It happened insanely rarely and felt intangible and so far away that Damian began to feel that he was really slowly going crazy. Sometimes he stopped understanding what he was feeling, and for someone in whose veins Alpha blood flows, it was disastrous. Wayne was still a fucking Alpha and the concern for his mate was becoming very problematic for his affairs.

All this made him restless, anxious, nervous, and he hated it.

Now the guy was standing on the side of the road, the engine of his car was not turned off, and his phone was bursting with calls and messages. His cell phone screamed again, pulling him out of the bottomless world of emotions, reminding him of what Damian was doing and was going to do, as his thoughts went to the damn ass as soon as he felt the echoes of other people's emotions again.

This time, it was something remotely similar to fear and it made his wolf howl in despair that he was not there at that moment to protect her. Damian tried not to think about anything bad. Just the thought that something irreparable had happened to his mate and the guy couldn't restrain himself from growling.

Wayne blinked stupidly, trying to normalize his vision, looking at the windshield of the car, but his gaze disappeared somewhere in the distance. He followed the drop of water running down the glass with his eyes and shuddered sharply, returning to reality. Damian took a deep breath, trying to start reacting again and grabbed the phone with an uncoordinated movement. He saw a couple of missed ones from his father and Grayson, and his brain finally began to convulsively return to reality, trying to start working again. He was driving to the pack council when the guy was overtaken by the emotions of his mate and unable to cope with it, Damian was forced to pull over to the side of the road.

They even washed about his mate, made him weak and Damian became disgusted with himself and his pity. He was fucking Wayne, a fifth-generation Alpha, and he shouldn't have been sitting around melting like a stupid boy dreaming of a girl.

The thought made him frown. He sent a quick message to his father that he would be there soon and threw the phone on the back seat, rubbing his face. Damian was no longer going to be driven by emotions and behave like a madman in love. He doesn't even know who she is, and already breathes unevenly at the thought of her. It was insanely stupid for Damian.

The guy growled angrily and pressed the gas pedal harder than necessary. He still has a question about the pack council, and if Damian doesn't show up there during this time, his family will raise the issue of his execution.

At the same time, on the other side of the city, Raven was once again asking how she had allowed herself to be persuaded to do this, standing in front of an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city and frowning listening to the muffled music coming from the half-broken windows.

These five hours in her life were the most intense in her entire history and Rachel was afraid to think what would happen next. She barely fought off Rogers with a wardrobe of indecently short dresses and won her right to stay in shorts with a T-shirt and a jacket. Roth wondered where Amy had gotten these dresses and if Mrs. Rogers knew about their existence. After slipping through the window in her room, she and Amy found themselves on the street, where, according to her, a taxi was waiting for them. The car was really standing a few houses away from Rach and she allowed herself to be seated in a rather muddy-looking car, clutching a knife in her pocket all the way, and then she was happy to stay in the car after seeing the place where the party was taking place.

Rachel had never been to a party before and was not eager. She had a list of what was bad and what was good, and the parties just related to the terribly bad. She knew that this was bad, partly because it was at one of the parties at the age of 16 that her mother met Rachel's father, Traygon, and became pregnant. She also did not like a large crowd of people who were under the influence of alcohol and carnal desires and she herself had never had a love for this kind of event and she had a hundred and one reasons why it was just a terrible idea.

But she was still standing there, giving her hoodie to Amelia, who was shivering in her dress.

-" How would you like to go home and forget the way here? " Rachel drawled warily as she dodged a drunken crowd of teenagers.

She looked at Amy, who was trying to force a smile, but her eyes were just as uninspired looking at the gloomy building in front of her.

Rogers tangled herself more tightly in Raven's sweater, casting a brief glance at her, trying to distract herself from the darkening facade of the building and the growing sense of fear. It was the first time she was so far from home, and if it hadn't been for Raven, who agreed to go with her, Amelia would never have decided to do this.

- "I didn't know you had so many tattoos. " Rachel smiled dryly.

"More than twenty...I think. I've never counted them.

"Do they all mean something to you?" Rachel frowned, thinking about the answer to the question. She didn't want to lie to Amelia, and lying was never her strong point, but it would be better for both of them if they were just stupid drawings without meaning and without what was hidden under them.

- "no. Just pictures." she smiled.

- "Cool. Amy's distant reply sounded." The girl nodded in the direction of the warehouse. -" I think so...should we come in? Michael...he should have been there a long time ago." -" I prefer to stay here. "Rachel caught the girl's reproachful look and just shrugged.

But Amelia Rogers wasn't the one who hesitated for a long time.

"Raven?" Amy said, glancing at the building, and Raven's name sounded questioningly on her lips. Roth looked at Amy for a few seconds, her thoughts were still against this whole terrible idea for the sake of one stupid boy, but she perfectly saw the love in the girl's eyes just at the mention of his name and smiled encouragingly at her, gently squeezed Amelia's hand.

Even if Raven had a certain fear of the party, strangers and the unknown, now...and even before that, she will not be able to say no when her hand is squeezed as the only support.

And Rachel Roth was the one who thought about others, much more than about herself.

Amelia nodded, a smile bloomed on her lips, and after returning the hoodie to Raven, she proudly walked to the warehouse, blowing a kiss to her friend. Rachel only quietly grinned after her, catching up with the girl and not noticing how wild, red-flushed eyes looked at her from the shadow of the forest surrounding the warehouse, and the toothy mouth stretched out in a cold snarl.

From the first moment they entered the warehouse, the thundering music deafened Rachel and she hovered in space for a second, trying to orient herself. There were neon signs everywhere, music and smoke, and Raven counted about ten couples kissing as she and Amy walked down the corridor and shyly covered her eyes with her hand, at the sight of not just kissing couples. Rogers snickered maliciously at Rachel

's reaction.

- "Shut up." Raven grumbled, still half covering her eyes with her hand.

She learned early what sex is because her mother saw fit to tell her about it at an early age and Rachel sometimes hated her for it.

Raven didn't know if it was related to Angela's pregnancy or if it was just her parenting method, but she remembered closing her ears to her mother's words, blushing in every possible way. Even now, having already a driver's license and a mental disorder, Rachel never considered herself old enough and ready for this, without ceasing to be embarrassed and it was quite stupid in her opinion, but she couldn't do anything about it.

She grimaced, feeling annoyed when some left-handed dude blew cigarette smoke in her face, continuing to follow Amelia down the corridor. She didn't know if the girl had been here before, but of the two of them, Rachel thought that Rogers knew what she was doing, so she just followed her.

The music grew louder and minutes later a massive door appeared at the end of the corridor, and behind it a huge room. The sharp smell of alcohol and something sweet hit Rachel's nose, sharpening her senses and she had to admit that the club looked much better inside than outside. It was a large, spacious room, in the center of which was an improvised dance floor, a DJ booth and hundreds of people, covered with music and alcohol. At the end there was an iron staircase and Rachel followed it with her eyes, paying attention to the fact that there was something like a second floor on top, where the party guests were. To her right was a large neon-lit bar, to which Amy dragged her through the crowd, grabbing Rachel by the arm.

She barely caught Amelia's words to the bartender over the loud music, but the next minute Raven was staring in disbelief at the machine in her hand, in which an amber liquid was splashing.

- "Is it necessary? "- she said and felt Amy roll her eyes almost to the ceiling, standing with the same glass and smiling provocatively.

-" Yes, especially for a boring ass like you. "Raven looked doubtfully at the glass again, completely sure that it was something alcoholic. Probably not once in her life had she stood and breathed so close to alcohol and did not even expect to drink when she agreed to a party, but the amber liquid in her hand aroused her curiosity. Rachel had no idea what the hell was in her glass and it did not cause confidence, although she trusted Amy, but her cheeky side of character began to take up and Rachel tried to sniff the drink, catching the mocking look of the bartender. It made her pride growl.

- "How about something else and non-alcoholic?"

"Oh, my God, Rachel, just drink this!" Amelia shouted, trying to shout over the loud music and drained her glass in one gulp. Raven stepped back, and after a few seconds she couldn't breathe as her throat burned and her lungs filled with fire as she tried to breathe. It was bitter, sharp and hot, but Rachel hummed to herself when the first sensations subsided and a pleasant sweet taste was felt on the tongue. It was a sharp contrast and it seemed to stop the time inside her and Raven caught herself that she liked it. The corners of her lips lifted in a satisfied grin and she defiantly licked her lips, collecting the remains of the drink, seeing how the young man behind the counter nervously swallowed.

Sometimes Rachel did it before she thought about it, but alcohol inspired her with confidence that previously she would not have had enough for this. Amelia watched this scene with the pleasure of a mother for her child.

- "Why didn't you tell me earlier about the magical effect of alcohol on you? I would put it in your lunch every day." - she drawled mockingly, replacing their drinks. Raven shrugged, twirling the glass in her hands and drank without hesitation. She felt her brain beep a warning signal to her, but ignored it and heard Rachel call sharply. She barely managed to leave the glass on the counter before Ro was dragged back into the crowd.

- "Let's go dance."

- "What about your adventures with Michael? " Raven finally remembered their main goal.

"That's why we're going to dance, Rachel...I saw him near that column." Amy whispered conspiratorially in her ear and led them to the one Raven Colon understood. They squeezed in between the flow of people, slowly dancing to the music Rachel tried to concentrate, the alcohol hit her well in the head, but she continued to wander with her eyes in the direction where Amy was nodding. Then she saw him, a dark brown-haired man with gray eyes, vaguely known to her from her friend's love stories as Michael. He seemed to be playing football...or not, and that didn't interest Raven much.

"What are you going to do?" Rachel asked.

-" Push us off. Amelia's immediate response came, and Raven's eyebrows shot up in surprise when it sounded like a well-thought-out plan from Rogers ' mouth.

- And?

-" Now we will pass by him and you will accidentally  stumble and push me into him. " Amelia dictated, and shot Rachel a furious look. "Don't you dare miss."

- "And he will save you from meeting the asphalt like a prince?"

- "Exactly."

- Okay. - if it hadn't been for the two glasses she had drunk, Raven would never have agreed to such an adventure, but now she found it somewhat funny.

"If you do it right, I'll get you some more of those cocktails." Amy smiled cheerfully.

"Oh, this is definitely getting interesting."

Raven leaned against the bar, irritably trying to wipe off her beer shorts. Some drunk idiot decided to flirt with her without being able to connect even two letters and stumbled, overturning the contents of the glass on the girl. Her head gradually began to spin, and her vision became blurry and indistinct, and she felt her body relax and get drunk, making her pliable and sluggish, and Rachel suddenly frowned.

Oh, yes, Rachel Roth, keep digging your own grave.

Rachel grimaced irritably, rubbing her face and returning the remnants of her mind, she was determined to get out of here before it was finally too late. She would have done it much earlier if it hadn't been for Amy, who, as expected, fell into the arms of her prince and flew away from Raven on the wings of love, forcing Roth to hang out near the bar, ignoring her anger at her friend.

She was angry at Rogers for just leaving her, but at the same time she was worried about her. Amy hadn't been in her field of vision for a long time, and Raven tensed her eyebrows on the bridge of her nose. Theoretically, Amy was with Michael, which means no one else could threaten her, but Rachel was the one who knew what girls in love could do and it covered her with a wave of nervousness. Maybe she was exaggerating, or maybe it was the effect of alcohol on the brain, but panic slowly rolled up to her throat and Raven rushed into a bunch of dancing people with a clear goal to get her friend away from here.

She didn't know how much time had passed, but a sharp sense of danger and panic didn't stop leaving Raven and she wasn't sure if it was just because of Amy.

Rachel suddenly found herself barely breathing as she scoured the building in search of a friend and her gaze involuntarily stopped on the man.

He was there, standing in the darkest corner of the opposite wall and his eyes were incredibly glowing when the man looked directly at Raven and she felt a herd of goosebumps run through her skin as soon as she could recognize in his dangerous and cruel smile, the local leader of the football players and her nedo-rapist Jonathan Wild.

He was looking at Rachel and only at her, and when he caught her eye, he grinned caustically. Raven swallowed hard.

Fuck.

The fear for her friend faded into the background. Now Raven was beginning to fear for herself. She didn't know what Wilde was capable of, but the fact that he was right here and right now, watching Rachel with fierce eyes made her doubt that it was an accident and her body froze with fear and Raven didn't know that it was possible to sober up so quickly.

She watched as Wilde moved in her direction, waving away everyone who got in his way, and this pushed Rachel to take a few frightened steps back. She needs to run. Right now. Her eyes carefully and warily slid around the room and Raven clung to the green sign "exit" under the stairs, and without wasting a minute rushed there. She felt like vomiting was rising in her throat from sudden movements and convulsive brain work, but she continued to confidently make her way to the exit through the crowd of people.

Grabbing the door handle, she forcefully pulled the iron door, literally falling out of the building, covering her mouth with her hand and leaning over the cold iron railing, spat the bitter taste of alcohol on the asphalt. Her head was buzzing, her hands were crumpled, and the fabric of her black shorts was soaked through with beer, viciously sticking to her body and she opened her eyes wide, staring into the forest.

Damn Data with its solid thickets.

Rachel tried to figure out what to do next. She had no idea where she was and was going to bite off her finger from anger that she didn't pay attention to the road when she and Amy were driving in the car. Her phone, of course, was happily left at home. And who could Raven call when her parents had already had their third dream, believing that their daughter was sleeping in her room with a girlfriend.

Amy. Raven could only guess where this woman had gone, but at least she was sure that she had a phone and money with the prince and urged herself to calm down mentally, her problem with the ferocious Wild hung over her a danger sign and Rachel had to move away from the building a few steps, I hope that she was able to break away.

Several long minutes passed, Wilde did not appear, but her nerves were on edge, Rachel stopped breathing, then inhaled sharply without taking her eyes off the iron door. The music continued to be loud, and Raven knew that no one would hear her screams from here. She shuddered.

Don't you dare think about it, Rachel Roth. You made it. You ran away. Well done.

In the next minute, her blood cooled and stopped, and her mind completely refused to accept what was happening. Raven heard a branch snap at her side and she heard a growl. A wild, bestial and dangerous growl, not capable of being made by a person. She swallowed hard, her muscles stretched into a rigid string and she did not remember how she turned around, meeting the gaze of three pairs of eyes. Wolf's eyes.

Popular!Luz AU concept post

This au concept is something me, @crispyclown , and @molotov-does-stuff worked out together on @pastatiger ‘s TOH discord.

The basic concept is “what if Luz never did become friends with Willow and actually did become popular” based on an offhanded comment from boscha in ‘Understanding Willow’ that went to the effect of “that human could have been popular if she wasn’t hanging out with Willow”.

Here’s all the headcanons we’ve all put together:

Timeline:

1) 'teenage abomination' never happens. Luz just has a boring day and becomes vaguely aware of Hexside.

2) during ’Covention’, Amity and Luz meet for the first time. They don’t hit it off but they don’t not hit it off either. After the Lilith speech, Amity still steps on King’s cupcake, but it’s completely by accident. Amity tries to ‘keep up appearances as a Blight’ and ends up accidentally insulting Luz and King while attempting to apologize. Luz ultimately still has the “Bog of Immediate Regret” line, but Amity doesn’t really care one way or the other, so she nearly says ‘you read Azura too?!’ Before instead accepting. Amity and Luz’s bet is pretty low stakes — Amity apologizes to king if she loses, Luz apologizes to Amity if she loses, maybe? But Eda and Lillith get waaaay into the bet and both sides cheat as canon. Amity still breaks down when the construction glyph is revealed, but Luz formally concedes anyways (with low stakes she doesn’t have any serious need to win, and she still would rather be this girl’s friend than her enemy), citing their own relative skill levels, before going and talking to Amity. Amity is still DISTRAUGHT about the whole ordeal, but she and Luz have a much more in-depth heart-to-heart, where Luz explains what she did, tells Amity how cool Luz thinks she is, and manages to tell her the “I’m not a witch, but… I’m training to be one“ line. Amity leaves Luz with the line, ‘they say humans can't learn any magic. But... I don't think that's going to stop you.' And… they’re, maybe friends? Unclear friends? Probably just acquaintances but the point is its nonnegative relationship development.

3) ‘Hooty's Moving Hassle' is removed.

4) in ‘Lost in Language’, Luz is still a little over-friendly with Amity (Amity respects her for serious but also She Has A Reputation, Luz) when they meet in the library. Luz still gets sucked in to the twins’ chaotic energy, and Luz still thinks hanging out with them will somehow translate to brownie points with Amity. When Amity walks in on them in the secret room, she’s much more visibly and viscerally betrayed by (what she thinks) Luz did. However after saving themselves from evil Otabin, Luz does convince her the twins tricked her, they book trade as canon, Amity actually clearly thinks of Luz as a friend at the end of it all.

5) the moonlight conjuration incident happens after the library incident. Amity spins a BS story about Luz being a skilled witch to her parents and invites her to the conjuring. While initially their conjuring goes as canon (ie nowhere), Luz turns it to a regular party with Boscha, Skara, Amity, and herself. (and Cat, i think? Whoever their canon fourth was, she’s still here.) Eventually they try again, and since (in this au) the conjuring's power == your conjuring group's friendship's strength, and everyone here is at least somewhat friends with luz now, they do manage to animate a few things.

6) at some point here, Luz, Boscha, and Skara team up for a pickup game of grudgeby, and Luz learns the fireball glyph.

7) During ‘Once Upon a Swap', both Skara and Boscha notice how out of character King!Luz is acting. They can admit King!Luz is being cool, if a lil dorky, but they have an out-of-character moment where Boscha tries to ask 'Luz' if she's okay. King doesn't get it, but the others walk in on it so Boscha resumes acting like a challenged alpha bitch. (Luz eventually explains to Skara what was goin on that day. Luz ‘conveniently’ never got the chance to clue Boscha in.)

8) at some point around here, Luz manages to get Eda to enroll her in Hexside.

9) 'adventures in the elements' is changed bc Luz does know two glyphs. However, She and Amity want to hang out some more and Amity thought Luz's fire glyph could help her learn the fireball spell, so they still go to the knee together (with Eda, Emira, and Edric as terrible excuses for chaperones.) Luz learns the ice spell under Eda’s somewhat hands-off tutelage, possibly after accidentally angering the Slitherbeast as in canon.

10) In ‘First Day', Boscha is looking forward to finally getting a read on this girl who wormed her way straight into Amity's heart. (she's not jealous. nuhuh. not even a little. YOU’RE jealous!) Luz still immediately gets Detention'd, tho, but this time Amity and Boscha show up to bust her out unprompted, leading to a VERY awkward moment where Viney (and Jerbo and Barcus) refuse to trust Luz on the basis that Boscha and Amity are her friends, and both of them are notorious jerks who would ABSOLUTELY bully the DT kids. Amity has to duck out for her performance tho. the episode concludes as canon.

11) we get an extended time where we see how Luz easily makes friends with almost everyone at Hexside. She's friend-shaped and she gets a HUGE popularity boost for being honest friends with Skara and Amity. (she gets rancid vibes from Boscha when they’re at school together, but she can't put her finger on *why*. and besides, Boscha calls Luz her friend too, so that probably counts.) during this time Luz meets Gus, who is one of E&E's classmates. Gus can have an episode, as a treat.

12) Luz finally meets Willow, and gets slapped in the face HARD with confirmation that Amity and Boscha are kind of massive assholes. Luz tries to befriend Willow, but Willow refuses to trust her due to how often Boscha, Amity, and the rest of the popular girls who make up most of Luz’s closer friend group have bullied her.

13) Luz tries to get Boscha to take it down a notch. Boscha takes it up a notch. Luz tries to get Amity to help, Amity asks why it matters — it’s just ‘half a witch willow’, no one cares. Luz realizes, awkwardly (and probably with the assistance of Jerbo and/or Barcus), that while she currently has a lot a friends and is popular, if she defends Willow from Boscha’s bullying she’ll lose a lot of her popularity. Luz kind of has a small breakdown over this, because she doesn’t want to risk friends here when in the human world she has so few, but at the same time, she has Principles! She can’t just ignore this! As one of her schemes to help Willow without going against Boscha directly, Luz manages to get Willow transferred out of Abominations, although Willow is kinda annoyed by this since even though she’s in plant track she feels a stranger. (This alienation eventually goes away, but not before…)


14) Luz snaps and punches Boscha in the face one day for bullying Willow once too many times. Boscha gets PISSED and Luz is NOT BACKING DOWN, even though she’s scared. Boscha basically exiles Luz from the friend group, which has the added effect of making almost all of Luz’s friends stop talking to her, most painfully Skara and Amity. Willow starts to tolerate her, but only barely. (Gus is still Luz’s friend tho. In fact, Gus, the DT kids, and E&E Are the only Hexside students at this point who’ll be caught dead with Luz.)


15) ‘Understanding Willow’ Is changed; Luz catches Amity burning up Willow’s memories. However, since Amity, Luz, and Willow are distinctly *not* talking to each other, the quest to save Willow’s mind is *much* more tense. Luz keeps taking potshots at Amity for abandoning the both of them, Inner Willow hates both of them, and Amity is trying desperately not to have fun with people who hate her and also trying desperately to defend her actions. Amity still reveals the same secret of the day she stopped being Willow’s friend; Luz, meanwhile, reveals some bad memories of her own human school that make it very obvious how much the chance to be popular meant to her and how she genuinely empathizes with Willow’s whole situation. Ultimately ends with a bit of a tense moment between the three where they admit they’re not friends yet… but at the very least they’re all willing to be friends, now.

16) We get some time watching Luz slowly re-making her friends throughout the school, as people decide they really do like Willow and Luz as people and they’re kinda tired of Boscha been an alpha bitch. Maybe spliced with Willow & Luz & Amity hangin out, being friendly, or with Boscha been salty and Skara et al. being here by obligation even though they *clearly* wanna hang out with Luz some more.

17) ‘Wing It Like Witches’ happens largely beat for beat here. Boscha attempts to re-assert social dominance, Luz invokes the sacred rites of a game of grubby with a bet, Luz tries to get Willow and Gus in for it but Gus can’t and Willow won’t; Amity talks Willow into forming a 3 person team with her. Extra angst from the fact that Boscha and Luz did actually have some bonding over being on the same team on an earlier grubby game.

18) Grom happens now, largely as canon. When preparing Luz for the main fight, Amity theorizes (incorrectly) that Luz’s greatest fear is losing her friends on the boiling isles; Luz goes along with it, because ‘I already faced that fear once this year, it’ll be a cinch’. Grom tries it but it doesn’t work, but then from turns into her mom. (We see Amity nearly cry from Grom turning into her, but realizes what’s going on, and then has a massive blush from being called ‘her’ Amity. Skara rolls her eyes, bc she’s been clued in. Boscha is deliberately not caring.)

20) Boscha eventually gets to the point where she decides to apologize to Willow. She starts with a BS ‘lol sry’ approach, ends with a record-scratch-sudden rant where Boscha really does break it — and herself — down in honest apology. Some of the bad attempts are played for comedy, this one played completely straight.

Miscellanious other elements:

Unrequited Boschamity / exes Boschamity, boscha has cool banter with her friends (mildly platonic boschluz banter, snarky boschamity banter, member boschkara banter, etc), Boscha being really jealous of Luz, Everyone — EVERYONE — pines at Skara, Luz also pines at willow eventually, BOSCHA ACTUALLY GETS A REDEMPTION ARC AND ITS WELL WRITTEN AND NO ITS NOT IN SERVICE OF A SHIP, Boscha::Azula Amity::Zuko wrt redemption arcs, Boscha joins the inevitable rebellion as one of those ‘everyone in public thinks I’m an enemy of the rebellion so I can help them out real nice in the DL’ people, and yes we ARE overthrowing the government at some point in this au just not right now, right now we’re having ANGST and LUMITY, boscha is actually very nice to her friends when she wants to be she just usually doesn’t feel like she Should Be Vulnerable, any episode that’s just ‘Luz With Willow And/or Gus doing Hijinks’ (ex ‘Really Small Problems’, ‘Something Ventured, Someone Framed’) that hasn’t already been mapped to an event in this timeline is skipped completely, yes that means Mathholomule successfully becomes president of the human club, none of this aus cast is actually friends with him tho don’t worry, Edric has been quietly dating Jerbo for a while now but his sisters don’t know, Emira is a disaster lesbian for Viney and the teasing is relentless, Emira is a terminal prankster with a maladapted sense of boundaries as a result of her parents, this is a point of contention for her courtship of Viney who can and will go OFF on her for crossing the line and not feeling guilty, Edric is very aware of boundaries but he also finds looking to her for direction gets him in trouble the least at home so he just feels terrible afterwards and tries to get Emira to tone it down and/or apologize, basically the library incident was her idea in this au and he went along with it because of blight child optics stuff, Luz’s memory may out Luz to Willow and Amity, Willow and Amity absolutely say ‘gay rights’, in fact the entire isle says ‘gay rights’, this au tricks you into thinking ‘oh easy lumity’ but then Willow comes in like a wrecking ball, during that murky period when Luz’s friends all hate her bc she punched boscha all the people still willing to talk to her get friendly REAL fast, yes that includes willow and amity once they all stop hating each other, nobody lets Amity live down “Oh, wow,,, sports” except Luz who didn’t get it, Everyone has a song assigned to them at the sleepover, Luz’s is Bad Reputation, Skara’s is Caramelldansen, Boscha’s is Money Machine, Amity’s is Eminence Front because I say so

Older omega Jay AU prompt: how did Jay and Bruce first meet and at what ages? Same as in canon or different? When did Jay meets his best friend Stephanie/Batgirl and did they (hopefully) go to school together? (Jay needs more friends than a gargoyle). What was Dickie’s first embarrassing try to impress older omega crush moment?

Hm, lemme thing. 

They met as they did in the comics, on the anniversary of Bruce’s parent’s, death. Bruce was about 22-24 and Jay was about 11 trying to hijack the Batmobile’s tires, because even if he wasn’t succeeding, he was so desperate he was willing to try ANS OS SMALL that Bruce just couldn’t in clean conscience leave him in foster care. Everyone’s ages are as normal apart from Dick and Jay’s. 

So, Babs was the Batgirl and she always has a bit of a tense relationship with Jason due to his dislike of cops - and her being a teenage alpha which meant she was trying to flex on him, which only made him annoyed - but they worked well together in the end. Then, Jason moved a bit away from Robin to focus on school at 15 and that’s when Dick was adopted - age 11. Jason trained him for a bit with Bruce, but stepped back when he thought that B intended him to be a stereotypical omega - Dick was robin. When Jay was 18-19, Tim made his way to the family (not in the capacity of robin, just as a neighbouring stray) and they’ve known each other for about 4 months before Jay was killed. Dick, age 17, swapped Robin for Nightwing in honour of Jason and his relationship with Bruce was tense - they were both alphas, and both mourning, and both hardheaded - and Tim, 14 became Robin. That’s when Steph came in. 

Jason returned to Gotham at 23, angry and so on, things happened and it took them a year to bring him back to the pack. Damian entered the stage then:)

Jay and Steph hit it off after he calmed down, because they had no history together and she was very easy going. 

Dick, in his own opinion, was the most embarrassing teenager on Earth, constantly trying to get attention of the older omega. That’s why he became Robin, that’s why he was more reckless than he should be, that’s why the Robin uniform gained short pants for the summer;] (Say, Jason’s uniform was very subdued, it was Dick who changed the colours to be bright). He was a walking, talking “Please look at me” mess and all he ever achieved as a kid was making Jason worried about his safety... ;]

Tired teenage parent Alpha-17 is my favourite headcanon. He was probably at most 1 or 2 years older than the command batch so his acceleration would have been brutal, like 4 or even 6 times faster than Natborn growth to get a 4 year old who looks 16 raising 2 year olds that look like they are 6. Whenever I try to make the time line of kamino work out I crumple right into this kind of world building.

I like to think that it takes the Command BatchTM a long time to realise how young Alpha 17 was when he was given them to train.

When they were kids and even as adults Seventeen is always this immovable pillar in their lives. Yeah he was a hardass who wouldn’t know his own emotions if they punched him in the face but he protected, cared for and taught them everything they need in order to survive and is the closest thing to a parent they have (except for Wolffe - he’s infinitely smug about this) He’s the reason they were the most successful batch on Kamino and later the most notable commanders of the war.

Then after the war and the improvement of clone rights, this documentary comes out exploring the years on Kamino before the Battle of Geonosis. It’s basically a horror show and includes footage taken by the Kaminoans to monitor and record their army building process (footage that would later be used in court to convict them of sentient rights violations and various other charges).

In the show there’s this one photo of Seventeen and his kids that’s basically that photo of the mom helping her kids beat their game as they crowd around her. The difference being that it’s a bunch of 6 year olds (developmentally) crowded around a 15 year old as he does his own coursework.

Alpha’s still in his red and blue uniform and has pimples and baby fat clinging to his face and he just looks so, so young.

Afterwards the batch phone him up and its like-

Command Batch: Damn we didn’t realise you were a teen mom… 😕

It takes some more time for him to understand that this did indeed affect him as a person.

I like to think that while dropping Fox off at his ex corrie guard support group in the community centre he accidentally finds himself in a young parent support group and huh these experiences of giving up your childhood (or never having one) while trying to give your kids the best of everything and feeling far too grown up and responsible and afraid really kinda resonates with him.

He gets invited back to this group because, despite not being a teenager or actively parenting anymore, he has a lot of experience in child rearing (even if the avoiding the wrath of evil scientists doesn’t really apply anymore) and for some reason all of their kids adore him even if he scowls at them constantly.

I don't know the name, but I know more info about the fic in Lost and found Batch #16 (the 11th ask). Jungkook keeps having nightmares about the car getting hit by a truck and going over the side, into the water. He always wakes up right before "dying" because his seatbelt was stuck and Yoongi couldn't get it to open. One day they're in the car and Jungkook starts having a panic attack because of the premonition so they pull over. Then the group finds out that the accident happened further up

Welcome To Beacon Hills

Chapter One        

 It had been a year since Julia and James Calypso had passed in a tragic cruise ship accident, leaving two 16 year old girls a whole year to grieve and continue on with their lives. These two young girls were turning 17 years old and moving to a new town. One was busy putting the last box into the moving van and shutting the door, her white hair flowing in the light summer breeze. The other girl was busy locking up the house and handing the keys over to the bank manager who would be putting it on sale in a month. The bank owner’s eyes held emotions he could not express towards the young brunette in front of him.

“Thea, we have to get going if we want to get there before dawn tomorrow morning.” The white haired girl stated as she walked towards the brunette.

She was the older out of the two. She had a fair complexion somewhat like a porcelain doll, and the white hair to match. Freckles showed as loud and clear as her Hazel, almost orange coloured eyes. She was in a dark lace dress that had a silver light material dress underneath. She smiled nicely at the man who took care of them through the past year.

“Right of course. Thank you Mr. Brim for helping us get through the year, Lorelei and I both really appreciated it.” Thea stated politely, shaking the kind man’s hand and turned on her heel towards the van.

She was the younger one out of the two girls. She had dark brown hair, the utter opposite of the paler girl, with olive coloured skin to match. Her emerald green eyes held tears as she looked back to the house once more, her long skirt blowing in the breeze dramatically. She knew then, that her life was going to change.

              Once on the road, the girls blast whatever music they wanted. There was no one to tell them to turn it down or to change it. Just their teenage angst getting out all the emotions they had held the past year long, being belted out with every single lyric of each song that played. Lorelei had chosen to be the driver first and when she started to get tired, Anthea would take up the position.

As Lorelei stopped at the first rest-stop, she parked and turned the van off. She unbuckled the seat belt and turned in her seat to Anthea who was holding the envelope. Tonight was the night they were told to open it.

“So, are we just going to stare at the damned thing or actually open it?” Lorelei asked somewhat irritated, the suspense had been killing her over the past year.

Thea slowly began to open the envelope with shaky hands. “What if it’s a letter that has nothing to do with us?” Thea aske Lorelei, somewhat nervous.

The envelope, now fully open, was turned upside down and the contents were scattered on Thea’s lap. The girls looked at the contents. A map, three letters, six pair of keys and a piece of paper.

Thea picked up one of the letters and handed it to Lorelei, “this one has your name on it. And I don’t know how to read a map so…”

Thea handed the map to her friend, practically sister, as well. Lorelei just scoffed and put the map aside and opened the letter.

“Should I read it aloud or..?” Lorelei asked unsure.

“Yeah, I would like to know what yours says.” Thea added politely.

Lorelei opened the letter with pride and anxiousness. As she pulled out the paper inside the little white envelope, she smelt something rather familiar, her mother.

“The letter, it smells like my mom.” She was as confused as Thea was at this moment.

Thoughts like, did their parents know this day would come and so on came to their minds.

“Read it.” Was all the push that was needed for Lorelei to start reading.

“My Dearest Aphrodite, if you are reading this, it means something incredibly terrible has happened to me and to Thea’s parents. Everything has been planned out since I found out I was pregnant with a baby boy. Sirens cannot have males as children, it’s very rare when a male survives the birth, and when they do they’ll become Incubi. But from the looks of this letter, that will not be the case with this little boy.”

At this moment, Lorelei was choking up, but continued, “Lorelei, you must continue to become stronger. You are the last of your kind, and there are hunters and other supernatural creatures who want all things supernatural that are able to seduce to go extinct. You will learn through the years that you may very well become an alpha, your features will change some, your skin will not have blemishes and your eyes will become a light shade of yellow. If this has already happened, I am so proud of you! Sadly, the only thing left to say is that you must stay yourself and be yourself. Be as normal of a teenage girl as you possibly can, and look after Anthea. I love you dearly, my Aphrodite.”

Lorelei wiped tears from her eyes and took a deep breath and released it moments later. She looked up at Thea who was doing the same. Although Lorelei lost her mother at the young age of nine, she wished it was later on in life than so soon. But she just nodded, the silent promise being agreed to.

“Did you get a letter?” Lorelei asked after she had composed herself enough.

Thea’s letters were practically identical to Lorelei’s letter although some things were a bit different. The words lingered.

“You’re a shapeshifter, be the greatest one you can be and find a pack that will except you, and let Lore know to do the same. Follow the map to the exact town that the X is on and all your answers will be told to you. Go to Beacon Hills.”

And so the girls almost half way there already, found a new determination. Their curiosity getting the better of them, but not having any way of finding out more about the town besides the brochure and the map about the town, they were stumped.

According to the main letter that was taped to the map, they had a house that was paid for until they turn nineteen, and they had jobs that they started as soon as they possibly could, as well as they were enrolled into school already and would be starting in three days. Lorelei and Anthea gave each other a look that showed they were curious about this town and it’s ancestry to their families.

Lorelei decided it was best she drive the whole way there and let Thea sleep off the storm of violent tears that happen to be too much to hold back. Her eyes adjusted to the now bright sky that was before her as she followed the only road that led to their destination. Relief showed on her face as she spotted a sign that read “Welcome To Beacon Hills!” Their new life was about to begin.

Fuck that, Stiles was a strong independent man who didn’t need no wolf. Submitting was straight up taught in classes. Don’t talk back, try to reason not argue, never run away when your Mate was in heat. Mate? More like owner. There was a reason Companions were called pets. God Stiles hated it all, the hypocrisy. It was an honor? More like a life sentence.

An AU where werewolves are given humans as pets called Companions, and a very begrudging Stiles is taken in by Derek Hale, much to both their displeasure. And then pleasure. Very, very sexual pleasure.

Derek stayed in Beacon Hills and tried to make it work because he wanted pack, wanted purpose. He gave his best effort and found himself back where he started: alone, with a few begrudging allies. He’s tired, and even though his werewolf body heals quickly, he feels the weary ache down to his center.

He packs his car with the few things he cares about enough to drag them from place to place. He locks the loft and calls a realtor about listing the building he’d bought in a misguided attempt to secure a future.

And then he leaves.

Stiles sees the flyer on his very last day at Beacon Hills High School. It’s hanging, unassuming, in the hall near the front entrance along with bulletins and other flyers, advertisements, posters for free student concerts, but the fact that the word “sex” is written in a font two times larger than the rest of the page catches his attention.

It’s an advice hotline for a whole range of things, from teenage angst to how to deal with your parents telling you you’re adopted and a whole mess in the middle. Stiles thinks it’s funny, though, that they offer advice on sexuality and sex education. It makes sense on the one hand, since high school sex ed does jack shit for actual learning, but anyone who really wants to know stuff has an infinite source of knowledge right on their phone—the internet.

So it starts off as a joke.

“I thought we could be friends,” Derek offers, to which Stiles gets an odd smile on his face.

“Friends,” he repeats, an odd inflection.

“Yes, friends.”

Stiles laughs, just barely. It’s more of an exhalation of breath than it is genuine mirth or anything else, and then he smiles. “I’m pretty good at friends,” he says with a tilt to his head, and Derek clears his throat and has to look away.

I endorse this emphatically. He's at most 2 years older than his charges chronologically. More likely he's just been slamdunked through multiple developmental stages to suit kaminoan target hitting. He's far more likely to be a parental figure than Jango "they are just livestock" Fett but the bar for positive interaction is so damn low on Kamino they might just all be limbo dancing in hell.

Alpha-17 is both a caring (for a given definition of the word) parental figure and the embodiment of "fuck them kids." He's a strong, intelligent, creative man. He can be two things at once.
