just wanna drop by and say that sometimes i hate how scarlett, and the outset in general, invites tiktokers to promote the brand. i know these bring money, sponsors etc. this is how marketing works nowadays and i get it. however, scarlett has a big fanbase and it will be good to see her also include her fans sometimes, interact with them and let them have their opportunity too. as a fan, i also buy products despite not having never done skincare before. i do it and we’re supporting the brand too and not because xyz tiktokers sponsored the brand.

it’s just sad i don’t know, i wish they would give more credits to also who support them because they’re them not because i do silly videos online and bring more customers.

and let’s be honest they give free products to influencers too, so i find it very unfair.

i really would like to see her connect with us more, it will be really cool and new to see it.

it’s only my opinion. it doesn’t change anything either way.

Today on "wow exclusionists are fucking wild" I legit just saw someone crying over people IDing as lesboys(on tik tok, surprise surprise). Like visibly had tears in their eyes, voice was shaky and cracking, the whole mile. All while saying "why can't you just accept that you're straight"

Like dude maybe you need to go offline enough if someone's orientation and gender labeling gets you worked up enough to CRY over it idfk

Genuine question, have you considered revisiting Glitter on the Floor (hands down my favourite comfort fic <3) or other fics and re-doing them in a similar style? Don't get me wrong, they already are incredible as they are, I'm just curious!

ooh good question! number 1, very glad you love the visuals because they age me about fifty years every chapter 😅

i don’t think i ever would revisit them and reskin them in the way of old habits mainly because they have different needs? the way i wrote old habits was with the graphics, photos etc in mind first versus glitter on the floor (and others) which is much more story driven, ie. story first, everything else after. and it’s quite difficult to actually translate them because of these limitations—the main one being the photos.

i don’t have photos of max and daniel in the monaco street for example, and that one is a really significant photo in the story because it’s the first time we see max also having a ring. i think these things would absolutely get lost in translation, because the photos are the whole reason you get their soft launch etc. (which is absolutely a thing i still find very difficult to do within old habits because im like well why isn’t there a photo of max and daniel together where one of them are doing XYZ for the plot?)

really good example of what I talk about a lot which is where people say things to be seen as a good person and will spiral if you don't see them as a good person. As opposed to you know just being a good person. If you only talk about Kick so other people know you dislike Kick and that's the end of the discussion then it should stay the end of the discussion. If your activism begins and ends with "hate speech isn't cool mate" then you have no base in activism and should Really not pretend like you do. Otherwise, you're sitting around on twitter the racist nazi website like "I couldn't be a bigot I said I'd die before I used a platform with hate speech on it... Israel sorry what?"
