Weave your dreams into a daisy chain (rated G) - 5+1 dnfies holding hands. it's very very sweet but it sure was a challenge to keep things PG and i feel like that kiiiinda make me stall a bit while writing it

i shed my skin (it blows away with changing winds) (rated E) - the awesamdream brainrot is so serious liiike. this fic was really fun to write, and the bitching trope in abo is sooo interesting to explore that i ended up writing more with gogygrops

(Don't) break the chain (rated E) - crazy concept that was 110% @purpleglitch's fault. king!gnf and knight!dream being freaks will always be famous to me

hold my body down (rated E) - OKAY. GUYS. LISTEN. this fic is so self-indulgent i canttttt. i always wanted to write gangbang but with ~romance, and i was sooo lucky to find someone to do it with me. one of my fave fics of the year without a doubt

Feet up above your sins (rated E) - dnf pirates with dream in rut. honestly, one of my proudest moments of writing smut. something just clicked in this.

peculiar (rated E) - monsterfucking beauty and the beast dnf that three different people reached out to me to say they wanted it. really really awesome setting and had a blast sharing snippets as i was writing it.

Lacuna (rated E) - first fic that isn't dnf in a *while*. Had a blast writing and it was fun to discover new dynamics to explore.

Sight (un)seen (rated G) - dnf love is blind AU that kinda grew legs and outpaced me. it was a piece where i got to kiiinda explore some themes abt sexuality that are very dear to me and kinda... solidify how I see Dream's own process in a way. there's some silly shenanigans with the reality show setting but it's a surprisingly serious fic and i love it a lot.

Here's where he meets prince charming (rated T) - My #1 fic of the year without a doubt. I love the fairytale exchange and this year I got my #1 pic and the entire process of this fic was lovely. the setting, the characters, all the art that I got for this fic... everything was so so perfect and i cannot find it in myself anything that i would change about it :))

Hi anon!!! Thank you so much for this, I went with the opportunity to write some Belle/Slick - they’re actually adorable, tsundere/tsundere couple that hate each other in the streets and are so loving and cosy in the sheets. This is just a short little thing, and Belle isn’t massively sick, but I hope you enjoy the sleepy cuddles!

“So, uh, what did you want me to do?”

Belle is curled up in her lap, looking smaller than ever, and Slick has never felt quite so out of her depth.

It was a bit unexpected, the affection of the sleeping car, especially in the days following the final and the unveiling of Slick and Greaseball’s schemes, but she’s not exactly ungrateful. After all, she was more than happy to oblige Belle’s shy gifts, flirt and chase after her when those enticing walls went up, and provide chaste kisses when the rest of the yard isn’t looking. Teasing and flattering is second nature - she’s had three older brothers to learn from, after all, only one of whom has ever been successful - but actually walking the walk has been… challenging.

Belle is not communicative at the best of times, too fatigued or slumbering to properly phrase what she wants, and although Tassita and Dinah have learned her tells by heart, they’re not so clear to Slick. That was how she knew this wasn’t just another brief fling to keep her trucking along; she was more mad at herself for expecting Belle to show up for a date during an unexpected nap time than she was at Belle for having an unexpected nap, which, by her books, was a first.

So now, she’s here, sat leaning against the wall of her bay in the freight shed with a somewhat pale looking Belle in her lap, curled up like a cat with her face occasionally scrunching up in discomfort. Struggling through her heavier than usual fatigue, she had explained that she just had to be deep cleaned from a sick passenger, and cleaning always made her feel vertigo; the coach shed was too quiet, the yard was too loud, and although she could think of other places, the smell of the freight shed was apparently dingy enough to distract her, and Slick wasn’t exactly going to say no.

In the warm yellow light of her bay, Belle looks even worse. She shifts slightly in rest, face falling into shadow as she rolls over away from the LED strips that Slick has rigged into the crannies of the walls, and Slick can’t help but hate the part of her that is genuinely concerned for Belle. She knows she’ll be fine, this is just typical passenger car dramatics, but the sickly lilac flush that has spread from Belle’s face down to where her skin meets frame definitely does not look good. Unfortunately, the other part of her, the part that isn’t actively hating herself for experiencing feelings, desperately wants to provide comfort, but neither part has absolutely any idea how to do that.

“Just stay still,” Belle mutters, muffled from where her face is pressed into the crook of Slick’s neck, “the more you move, the closer I get to my wiring snapping.”

As if on cue, something fizzles and groans from Belle’s chassis, and Slick feels eyebrows furrow against her neck.

“Alright,” Slick huffs, trying to make sure at least a little bit of performative annoyance bleed through, “I guess I’ll just sit here then.”

If Porter or Lumber walk in now, she’s toast. At least she can blackmail Hydra.

Seconds stretch into minutes into hours, Belle shifting once or twice again so she’s fully in Slick’s lap, and Slick kind of wants to chuck her off and call the whole thing a sham. It’s downright unfair how cute Belle is all cuddled in, ragged breaths becoming even and heavy eyelids finally fluttering shut. By her sides, her arms feel restless, useless, and every now and then she holds her hands up to stretch out her fingers. Really, she wants to wrap her arms around Belle, hold her tightly until the pain and the nausea passes, but then her hands hover above Belle’s middle for a second before she lets them fall limply to her sides again. Maybe Belle doesn’t watch to be touched - Slick knows how sensitive she is, and the last thing she wants to do is make her jump-

“You can hold me, you know,” Belle suddenly grumbles, almost as if she’s annoyed Slick hasn’t yet, and Slick can’t help the heat that prickles along her cheeks like needlepoint, “I would like that.”

“Well excuse me for not assuming,” Slick hisses, rolling her eyes as she wraps her arms around the coach; she’s soft from the velvet of her frame, warm and pliant in Slick’s arms as she scoots in to let Slick loosely hold her close. Belle is a comforting weight against her chest, and the feeling of her breath on Slick’s jaw is almost electric.

“I guess I’m grateful,” Belle mumbles, somehow sounding even more drowsy than a second ago, “when it’s just us, you- you don’t have to ask to hold me, got it? Just-“ she’s cut off by a yawn, and Slick can’t help but feel one of her own beginning to form- “everything you still need to ask for, but I guess I like it when you hold me.”

Slick is extraordinarily thankful Belle cannot see the heat in her cheeks.

“I think I’m going to sleep,” she continues, and Slick can’t help but squeeze her tightly, “wake me up before sunset, otherwise the others will ask where I’ve been.”

“You know I’m not your personal alarm clock, right?” Slick argues, but she can’t will up any of her usual bite, and Belle seems to take no notice as, within seconds, the sound of her faint snoring fills the bay. It’s quiet, almost adorably so, and absolutely addictive in its rhythm as Slick fights against her own eyes closing.

At least there’s no one around to see the small kiss she places on the crown of Belle’s head, and there’s definitely no one around to call her out if she rests her eyes for a second.

He doesn't like the texture of wet lettuce. If the lettuce isn't bone dry he won't eat it. For this reason, he doesn't eat salads

He goes through guitar picks like nobody's business. Why can't he just be a little gentler? Who knows!

He has a mole on the left side of his forehead (his right) near the hairline that is usually covered by his hair. When his hair is buzzed it's incredibly obvious

He was one of those babies who came out with incredibly light blond hair, and then it darkened as he grew up. It's more of a dirty blond as an adult, but it does get bleached by the sun

He eats his steaks extremely rare. As rare as he can get them. It's not a "durr burr manly men eat bloody meat" thing like you'd think with the rest of his personality, but because when he was little he [König has advised me not to finish this sentence]

He has a ball tongue piercing. He used to have snakebites, but they closed up when he went to the military

He has very veiny hands

He has a great sense of the placement of his body, if that makes sense. He would make a good dancer

hello i am here to ramble about homelander's fertility (not because the g20 trailer dropped and i started feeling feelings and thinking thoughts what nooo). i'm never quite sure what i think the show's view is. are we meant to think ryan really is a fluke? could it be that hl's dna is just so v soaked that it doesn't work with other supes, only non-supes (sort of like bringing fresh blood into a royal lineage)? i'm not sure how many people we're meant to think he's slept with in the past - maeve for sure, i'm personally not 100% convinced stillwell let him go all the way until the end of s1 but then again they did have 20+ years of history so maybe they did, and there's that deleted scene where maeve says they broke up because he was sleeping around but it doesn't feel super character accurate to me and it is deleted so. nebulous canon. i mean, even as i type this i'm thinking up an angsty scenario where a much younger less jaded lab-fresh hl is seduced by a fan at a convention (let's be honest, she'd probably just have to gush and giggle a bit and his love starved ass would think they're soulmates) and he accidentally kills her during sex. so there are possibilities. but anyway to get back to my point. 😂 i've also wondered if vought just straight up lied to him that he was infertile, but this would seem a very silly thing to do as then he'd be less careful and more likely to have a kid. unless they were always planning for a ryan scenario where he'd get someone pregnant and they'd whisk her and the baby off to train to one day kill him without him ever knowing. but this doesn't seem to be the implication from what is said in the show. so if they really thought he was infertile, considering all the insane unethical science those scientists are involved in, that'd suggest ryan really is a fluke? otherwise how'd they get that wrong? i guess all this rambling is just to say i find that scenario even though it's the likeliest kinda boring and i prefer headcanoning there are just strange requirements for him to actually have a kid. such as the other person not being a supe. he'd hate that so it's more fun. 😂 by this headcanon maeve's eggs would've been useless to him even if he did get his hands on them, and i think that would've given her some satisfaction. even if surely vought would've figured this out if it was the case, the irony just feels fitting.

(oh the G20 trailer also totally didn't fuck me up at all...)

This is a great topic to discuss, I also find the way the show handles it strange. And I think they dropped the ball on it.

If your insanely powerful and dangerous science experiment suddenly produces an offspring you should be like... a little more worried? Vogelbaum's "nature is tenacious" explanation is strange. You've put so much work into creating Homelander. Surely you'd care more about him actually being fertile? Vought cared a lot about keeping him on a tight leash, they would have thought about how him possibly being fertile and having his own kid would change his priorities (and potentially loyalties) and rewire his brain. After how much work they put into keeping him docile and cooperative it seems crazy to me that they'd just brush it off.

Obviously they could've been freaking out in the background, which is why they hid Becca and whatnot but it just seems like very poor planning on their part.

Because if they genuinely believed he was infertile well then they did a shit job testing his fertility. Unless they knew he was fertile. And did something to try to sterilize him. However that turned out to either be not long lasting or not working at all.

I'm sure Maeve was on birth control when they were together just in case even if he told her that he was shooting blanks. It's not like she's gonna trust him with that 😆

However I do wonder how many other people he slept with. (I also choose to ignore the cheating allegations bcs it doesn't fit the way I view him, tho thinking about it if it was totally canon I could imagine him doing it as a desperate way to get Maeve jealous just to feel like she cares about him. While she took it as the easy way out.)

But I'm curious how much sex ed did Vought give him in the lab. If any 😆 I'm not sure about the timeline re: Homelander's debut, his and Maeve's relationship. But I think the idea of him getting easily swayed by a fan is fun. Especially if they never actually have sex and he accidentally kills her before they could get to it. That could put him off sex with non-supes for a little while (so no need to worry about him getting people pregnant) and then his actual first time would be with Maeve who again would be on birth control.

Then the next person in line is Becca. And that's the first time he actually had a chance to impregnate someone? And it took.

So maybe Ryan is less a fluke and more just Homelander not having had as much sex as we thought he would. Because he's not really been to exposed to most of it right. And seeing as he was out there already worshipped as something different than a human, something better, I imagine he didn't immediately go like. Hmm now that I'm free, it's time to finally fuck.

Also, I do like your non-supe theory! (The only other supe we know he had sex with was Stormfront but she could've also been on birth control.) I also adore the idea that for him to have kids it has to be with a human. Though at first infuriating I'm sure he would justify it all sorts. Like he's so godlike, other gods can't match him. He has to grace the lowly humans his presence to gift him another mini-him.

I think my final headcanon is that in the beginning, Homelander was sex-averse. After one bad encounter with a fan he realises that for him to feel good he has to lose control, which ends up in him killing somebody. Back then I like to believe that he cared about it a little. Or at least, he was spooked. Like 'oh no, oh no, oh no, Vought's gonna find out, they're gonna put me back in the bad room, they're gonna take away my freedom' kinda thing. Obviously since then he's gotten better at controlling his powers. But with Maeve then being his actual first time, somebody who can handle him is what ignites this need again and he's then constantly chasing that high, that pleasure. With how much I imagine sex was a part of their relationship as opposed to cute dates and hanging out, it's the only way he learned to love. Though that's off topic! But this is what I'm going with.

“So… you said a cat did this?”

“Ah… yes.” Damian is distracted—not by the distant tug of a needle, in and out of his skin, but rather by the man doing the stitching.

He would not call him the most beautiful man he’s ever seen, but the man is certainly… attractive, with his sharp cheekbones and aquiline nose. Most striking is the pale, ice blue of his eyes; made even more so by the dark circles under his eyes.

Damian can relate.

“It was a kitten, actually,” he admits, somewhat reluctantly. 

That gets those eyes on him, the needle stilling. The nurse’s brows raise. “A kitten?”

“She was very fierce.” Normally he keeps gloves in his car for such an occasion, but he had taken them out to wash them, and— Well. Of course he ended up finding the kitten before he got them back into his car.

"I see," the nurse says, a smile tugging at his mouth. "I wonder if I'll be stitching up the next poor person to find her, too."

Damian sniffs. "Hardly," he says. "She's in my car." His emergency kennel, luckily, had still been there. He hated to leave the poor creature out there—on the way over, he had contemplated calling Richard or Todd to pick her up for him. However, neither of them was likely to listen to his instructions to leave her alone. Richard because he would believe he could befriend her, and Todd because he would underestimate the severity.

Pity Cassandra was out of town.

Pity Jon lived two hours away.

“Huh.” The nurse goes back to stitching. “You didn’t let go?” He sounds vaguely impressed. Damian cannot help the way he puffs up with pride.

“Of course not,” he says. “I would hardly leave the poor thing out there to suffer. Fierce or not, Gotham’s streets are no place for a kitten.”

The curve of the man’s mouth turns—soft, almost. It is reminiscent of a look he often sees from Richard, though it incites a different feeling in him entirely. He feels… warm. His fingertips tingle.

“Of course not,” the man echoes, softly. “Do you do that a lot? Rescue kittens, I mean.”

“At nearly one in the morning? No, not typically,” Damian says. “However, I volunteer at an animal shelter, and I am enrolled in the veterinary program at Gotham University. I find myself rescuing many animals.” He also had, vaguely, considered the notion of stitching himself up. It was only the knowledge of Richard and Pennyworth’s disappointed faces that had sent him to the clinic, instead.

“Huh,” the man says, thoughtfully. “So what happens to the kitten now?”

“She is young enough it should be fairly easy to socialize her,” Damian says. “Once she is used to people, I suppose I will look into finding her a home.” He would keep her himself, but— He has reached his limit on the amount of animals he can realistically take care of. His younger self would scoff at this, but part of adulthood was learning his limits. A dog, two cats, a snake, and several fostered kittens were certainly his.

The nurse hums, snipping the thread. He lingers at Damian’s side. “You know… I always wanted a cat. Do you… think I could call you, sometime? Maybe arrange a visit?”

Damian’s pulse quickens. “I—yes. I would be, ah. Amenable to that.”

The nurse smiles. The brightness of it steals the breath from Damian’s lungs. “Cool,” he says. “Hold on just a second.”

The nurse disposes of the needle and washes his hands before snagging one of the brochures from the countertop, by the sink. He withdraws a pen from his pocket and writes, quickly.

When he passes it to Damian, he winks. “You should be good to go now, Mr. Wayne.”

“Thank you,” Damian says, sliding off the exam table. As he walks out the door, he glances down at the paper. On it is a phone number, which Damian memorizes automatically, signed—

Tim Drake. Call me :)
