So ace I did a thing.
i doubt that Arata's going to make any major appearances now, but i think it would be so funny if VBS starts travelling and he is made to supervise them, because Ken is busy and tells the kids, "sorry, i am not trusting you guys by yourselves abroad in a million years." so he calls up Arata, since he's travelled before (to America)
Arata is like "yeah, sure. how hard could it be?"
about everything that could go wrong goes wrong.
in the middle of the night, they were all meant to meet at WEG, from where Ken would drive them to the airport. all of them except Toya forgot at least one thing at home and had to go all the way back to retrieve it.
Arata ordered a cup of strong coffee while they all waited for An to come back after running up to her room for the sixteenth time.
at security, An, Akito and Arata seem to accidentally create a "whose jewellery can set off the metal detector more" competition. Toya is highly disappointed in Akito. and just before the trip, Emu had given Kohane a tiny little robot that has recorded messages from all of W x S, to remember them by while she's away!! so cute!!
it gets Kohane pulled away to be searched.
not even anything dodgy in it, it's just as if the machines could detect the Made In Rui Kamishiro's Room essence. Kohane was terrified. it took Arata, Akito and Toya to hold An back from fighting security and getting them all arrested. Rui woke up at home a few hours later to fifty missed calls from Akito, An and the airline.
Arata bought another coffee at duty free afterwards.
oh, and since i'm silly about my headcanon of Iori and Arata being twins, STANDOUT happens to be doing a world tour at the same time. Arata prayed he would not see his sister at the airport. he is not God's favourite. she sees him struggling with the kids and immediately takes the piss. he retorts that he hopes her plane crashes. nearly gets jumped by the other band members (minus Mio)
he needed two coffees to recover from that.
Kohane is super excited about taking as many photos as she can while in the airport, wanting to capture everything. Arata sees her struggling with holding the camera while dragging her suitcase and decides to be nice, offering to hold it. she accidentally calls him nii-san and he feels joy for the first time, thinking that maybe it's all worth it. which is very quickly dissolved when An takes him holding Kohane's bag as an invitation to drop her bag on him ("cheers, Arata!!"), followed by Akito. Toya tries to scold them and help carry all the things, though sheepishly finds that he does not have the strength to.
"why the fuck do i bother." ~ Arata Tono, 2024, on his fifth coffee.
Arata gets a call from Souma checking up on him and is so relieved that he's positively beaming (and maybe even tearing up) while he walks away to answer.
"ehhh, he hasn't smiled at us like that all night, even though we've been so good!!" ~ An. she and Akito tease the hell out of his relationship with Souma when he returns.
while waiting to board the plane, he has to deal with standing next to a bickering An and Akito, the sleepiness starting to really get to the both of them, making them more snappy. Toya is starting to really realise that flights involve... heights. and is staring into space while having a silent panic attack. Kohane unintentionally wanders off to go take more photos, nearly giving Arata a heart attack when he thinks he's lost her. or that might've just been the caffeine.
he is unable to buy another cup of coffee at this time.
the second Arata gets into his plane seat, he goes "do not talk to me" to all of them and immediately falls asleep. some poor flight attendant has to shake him awake to ask him to put his belt on because he'd forgotten. he starts sobbing right then and there.
he gets to order his now hourly coffee from that same flight attendant a bit later.
he tries to drift off once more, though is awoken again, this time by poor Toya in the middle seat digging his fingernails into both his and Akito's arms from fear, like a cat, while the plane takes off.
Arata downs some more coffee and reflects every one of his life's decisions while his arm is taken hostage.
An, who is much too peppy at this sort of hour, in Arata's opinion, reaches across the aisle every ten minutes to shake his free arm and ask "are we there yet??" so he makes Toya keep an eye on how many exact miles away they are and regularly report it to her, to both distract him from the height and satisfy An's curiosity.
when they arrive at their destination, VBS is ecstatic. Arata promptly goes to his room in the hotel and passes out for about twelve hours.
he gets offered coffee during breakfast and feels sick at the thought... before remembering that he's with this lot for a good few days and quickly accepts.
#I didn’t do Toyas cause I don’t feel like it……#Sorryyyyy#also Akitos looks lazy cause I did while I was tired and hungry. So.#lyn-ne’s art#Hope these are good!!!

@eiriee (a beautiful new post for you)
My confusion did indeed come from the fact that the very simply titled Fire Emblem on the GBA is FE7, and more comonly referred to as Fire Emblem Blazing Blade now (thanks to FE Heroes, the mobile game). And, uh, Fire Emblem First Of Its Name (Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light) is (was ?) also available on Switch and somehow my brain went "yeah of course this is totally about FE1", having apparently forgotten that FE7 is. just. named. Fire Emblem. in the West
'cause it's the first game we ever got !
And it was also my first ever Fire Emblem !
With this out of the way...
Do you like strategy ? Do you like cool pixel art ? Do you like a story that is a lot more personal in scope than the usual fantasy story ? If yes, then Fire Emblem is the game for YOU !
... More seriously, Fire Emblem GBA was my first introduction to Fire Emblem as games, and despite some potential criticism of the changes to Lyn's Story, it makes for a great introduction to the game and how it works. In the Western version, the game forces you to go through Lyn's Story as an easy mode tutorial, to teach you the ropes through her personal quest after she finds you, tactician, just. yeah. you were out there. She had to help you. And you decide to help her when you get attacked by bandits.
And that tutorial does give you all the tools you will need to play the game, when, once you are done with Lyn's story, you get introduced to Eliwood, main Lord of the game. And once you've done that, you can go through the story from another point of view, with Hector's mode. Which is a huge plus for me - Hector's mode is harder than Eliwood's, but they didn't just decide to give you the same old, same old - there are a lot of scenes that reveal more of what happened in the story, things you didn't get to see during Eliwood's side of the game.
So you get one really well made tutorial, especially if you don't know how Fire Emblem works as a game (only downside is that it's not skippable for people who know how that all works), and then you get two versions of the same story, from different point of views, with a cool difficulty slide. I like that personally ! that really grabbed me !
An interesting thing about Fire Emblem Blazing Blade, to me, and something that absolutely grabbed me as a teen, is that while the story does end up having beats of saving the world... it is not as grandiose as most of these stories. It starts about a son searching for his father, and it always stays somewhat in the shadows, partly because FE7 is the prequel to FE6 and its much more open war. People just kind of. Don't know what happened. And I think that's compelling.
Another cool feature you can enjoy with FE7 : having so many little guys and gals to pick from and become obsessed with. While most characters don't get a lot of dialogue, you can and will find Your Special Boy Or Guy (mine's Kent he's a boring stick in the mud and yet I love him <3 but also shout out to Renault and Vaida). Fire Emblem is often known for its support system, that allows unit to build relations and let you get fun dialogue between those units, and it has always been one of my favourite feature ! and I really like the FE7 cast and the supports ! Having so many guys and gals to pick from is just a plus for me :D
And finally : ... a bit like the point I made about NES FE, I have to say, but... it's worth checking FE7 just for the pixel art. I find myself loving it, not only because it's really pretty, and I think there's a lot of reason why people make GBA FE Style pixel art, but also because it's a genuine asset for the game as a strategy game. I always find it really easy to read and a really solid asset for the gameplay : the maps can be large, but it's usually easy to spot ennemy units VS your own, and get a sense of what's going on where !
... and yes, the game makes the calculations before combat for you, unlike FE1, which definitely makes it easier to play and find your own favoured strategy :D
So... I hope I've sold you on it ?

Designs are no longer available on Redbubble as of April 2023, as they’ve started actively stealing money from artists. Sorry for the inconvenience. You are, as always, encouraged to save these designs to use as icons or in other art, and you are encouraged to print them out and make your own shirts or buttons if you’re able to.
-------------------
The List of neopronouns! Whenever I make a new pronoun pin/icon design from now on, I'm going to make one for every single pronoun set on this list at least.
I am no longer employed because it's past high time I admitted that I can't have a normal job and have an appartment that's livable in, so my twin's income is now our sole source of income. So from now on I'm going to try to make at least 60 new pins a day, since that's the limit for designs you can upload to Redbubble at once, in the hopes that more pins will mean more people are buying them.
If you would like to donate to help out, both my venmo and cashapp usernames are Rjalker! There is also our gofundme here. The Redbubble store is set up so that I get half of the listed price (instead of the default 20%), so if you buy a pin for $6, I get $3, and Redbubble gets the other $3, and same with more expensive products.
As always, if you are buying a pronoun pin from Redbubble that you want to be functional as a pronoun pin, I suggest buying the "large" size, since the "small" size is way too small for people to notice or read easily. You can see an example of how big the "large" pin is here.
If you don't see your pronouns on this list, or would like a specific combination (it/xe for example) or different spellings, please let me know, either in replies, reblogging, sending an ask, or whatever! :)
Any pronouns not on this list that are requested for other designs will also be added to this list so that hopefully nobody gets left out.
Maybe if I find a website that will do it for me, I will figure out how many unique combinations there are of these pronouns in sets of two and make all of them, we'll have to see, lol...
They have been sorted into alphabetical order to help finding them be easier.
Some of these have only just been added while making this post, so they aren't on the newest pin designs yet. That's on my to-do list.
You can request pronouns to be added to this list even if you have no intention of ever buying from my Redbubble store, because the designs will also be free to use for icons and other things! (or if you have a printer and are able to make your own buttons, you can print them out for that, as long as you aren't selling them or claiming the design is your own)
This list will be edited and alphabetized again anytime new ones are added :)
You can also read the list on this google doc with larger font.
Please use my name rather than pronouns

Physical appearance - I have learnt that I am. very tiny. shorter than literally the entire cast. if the ruler is to be believed. however Kohane (glasses/hair colour) and Honami (eye colour)
Personality - Ichika, Kohane (earlier events Kohane specifically), maybe Nene (gamer)
Relatability - Honami. oujexhebxiej. some parts of Ena also because of. art. and Kohane again but that is maybe just the projection
uhhh tagging. @ace-and-the-rpg-horrors @lyn-ne @vivid-street @2-kamikou-1 and whoever wants to join
Starting a tag game for pjsk fans: describe yourself in three categories with proseka characters
Physical appearance: Rui (freakishly tall) and Honami (curly hair gang)
Personality: Rui (again, autistic) and Mizuki (silly but running from my problems)
Most relatable: Saki (all the chronic illness omg did not expect her stories to hit as hard as they did)
Anyway, if you see this reblog and tag your pjsk besties @stars-and-guts

Most Popular Actror (Kim Soo-Hyun)
Best OST
My Sassy Girl’den sonraki rollerinde favorim olduğu söylenemez.
Mimiksiz, tepsiz. Çok sonra It's okay to not be okay dizisinde kendisi ile karşılaştığım zaman ciddi bir şaşkınlık yaşadım.
Her sıkıntıda kızın yanında bitiveriyor.
Ve “Cinderella and the four knights” dizisinin parlak dudaklı jönü Ahn Jae-Hyeon’u vardı.

Rules: tag ten people you’d like to get to know better!!
tagged by the lovely and talented @lambourngb
Relationship Status: Married. Married to a guy I first got together with at the end of senior year in our small town (it was a secret hookup because my family was so ridiculously religious), followed by almost five years of on/off stuff, followed by a seven-year long-distance relationship, and now we’ve been married for eight years. Ask me why I like Malex, ha?
Favorite Color: Cobalt blue, coral
Lipstick or Chapstick: Even when I am actually leaving my house, my absolute favorite lip product is “je ne sais quoi” in “Your Perfect Pink” by “it cosmetics.” It goes on clear and feels really nice, and it works with your natural lip pigmentation to give you just a little bit of enhanced color. I love it.
Favorite Food: Fresh pasta with fresh made pesto, mushrooms, maybe some beautiful seafood in there (shrimp or scallops or something) with a generous sprinkling of locatelli romano cheese on top and fresh basil and fresh bread on the side. And some really good chocolate for dessert. I am pretty low-key about most things, but I’m picky when it comes to tea, olive oil, chocolate, and cheese, ha.
Last Song I Listened to: Lizzo “Good as Hell.”
Last Movie I Watched: Movie intended for adults? Old Guard, ha. Most recent movie, period? Moana.
Top 3 Favorite TV Shows: Oh geez, this is tough for me. I don’t watch much TV. Roswell NM. Let’s just leave it at that given the space it occupies in my mind, though @lambourngb recently reminded me I need to finish Justified, ha.
Top 3 Favorite Bands/Artists: Carly Simon, Angele Dubeau, Beatles
Book I’m reading: Unsurprisingly, I always have like eight books going at once, ha (similar to my WIPs, honestly - I like beginnings!): The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion by Jonathan Haidt, The Art of Power by Thich Nhat Hanh.
And (I love this one) Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Emily Nagoski and her sister, Amelia Nagoski. Emily Nagoski’s “Come As You Are” is the best book on sex I’ve ever read, and I am loving her book on stress, too. Recommended to everyone, especially during these strange times.
Tagging @ninswhimsy, @andrea-lyn, @foramomentonly, @sabrinachill, @saadiestuff, @haloud, @myrmidryad, @ober-affen-geil, @tasyfa, @vague-shadows

Hi 👋
I checked out your blog, The artwork 👀 was very cool ❤️❤️
Are you taking/accepting art requests?
ooc
I am taking art requests! I would prefer for those interested to contact me on my main blog @lyn-ne
Please no NSFW, any triggering topics, or anything overcomplicated. It would be appreciated if the request is in a fandom I am currently into (South Park, The Owl House).
So, if you are interested in art requests, simply private message me, and I'll try and get back to you as soon as I can!
Again, if you are looking for art requests, please ask them on my main blog, @lyn-ne . That's where I post whatever art I want. This blog's purpose is an au that I made up.
Have a great day!

"Get to know your followers"
So, @intp-fluffy-robot tagged me (thanks for the tag!) and I procrastinated on doing this, a lot (sorry). Also sorry because I don't have 20 followers so, instead of blaming the poor souls that do follow me for doing so, you've been saved, not tagging people.
That lovely rule I'm breaking: tag 20 people that follow you.
Now then, let's begin, before we end up doing this at Christmas or not doing it at all.
Nickname: Neku I guess, at least with online friends, otherwise just a shorter version of my name, or Ne.
Gender: just like my coffee, none.
Star Sign: Libra.
Height: 5'4.
Sexuality: Asexual.
Favorite animal: cats maybe, owls are nice too but cats are fluffy, warm and usually rather warm, plus they're usually pretty chill.
Average hours of sleep: around 6-7 during the week, 8 on weekends and maybe a bit more during holidays.
Number of blankets: two right now, they go down during summer and will probably go up by one when Winter shows up.
Dream trip: London to check some writers' places and the streets where Jack the Ripper made their killings and Japan I guess (so much stuff I want to buy from there, I hope I'm rich when I do go or it'll be bad, bye food money).
Dream job: writer, because dreaming is free right, so for once I'm allowed to say it at loud without being frowned upon. Right.
Favorite song of the week: ehhhhh, Drunken Dream of the Past by Terry Lyn (I think, just looked it up on SoundCloud and not sure if the information there is correct) and Hey Ho by Sekai no Owari.
Things you find comforting: rain, music, closing my eyes and thinking about characters, write, a certain person, cats, holidays and, ehh, cute art (may it be fanart or official art).
And that's it. Thanks for reading who anyone who did, as the rulebreaker I am, see ya without the tagging!

the “I Want To Play Fire Emblem But Don’t Know Where To Start” post
Hi! Are you one of the many people whose first and only exposure to Fire Emblem is Smash Bros. and/or Fire Emblem Heroes? Do you want to get in on Fire Emblem but feel unsure what game to play first because there’s so many? Well here, let me help you!
There are three games I consider good starting points for new fans. All of these games have been released outside of Japan, so you don’t need to worry about futzing with fan translations. All of these games have characters that you can get in Fire Emblem Heroes, so if you’ve been playing that game you can learn more about your random pulls in these! Two of them are easy to emulate as well, if you don’t have the systems or funds to play them but want to check them out.
Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, known just as Fire Emblem outside of Japan, is a GBA title and the first game to get a worldwide release after Smash Bros. Melee introduced the world to the series. As such it was designed with a global audience in mind; it is the first game to feature a player-made avatar (though they are not actually playable) and the first ten chapters are designed to gently ease new players into the series by gradually introducing and explaining various mechanics. This game serves as a prequel to The Binding Blade, the game that Roy is from, and one of the main characters is Lyn, who you may recognize from Smash Bros. The game lacks some of the more user-friendly mechanics that have been added in later games- namely, the option to play without permadeath- but if you play on an emulator (or on the Wii U Virtual Console) you can use savestates to make your life easier. This is the game that introduced many fans to the series, and as such it’s a great entry point.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is a DS remake of the first game in the seris and stars Marth. If you’re curious how the series started, this is the best place to go, as you’ll be introduced to many of the series’ recurring themes and character archetypes. This game is also surprisingly friendly towards the permadeath mechanic; should you lose a certain number of characters the game will give you access to bonus chapters where you can pick up new characters you otherwise wouldn’t see. However, if your primary reason for playing Fire Emblem is because you like shipping, this may not be the best choice for you. The support mechanic that allows characters to hold conversations with one another doesn’t exist in this game, and as such many of the characters are woefully lacking in personality. The art style for this game is also not as colorful as other games, opting for a more realistic look than a stylized anime one. This game is available on the Wii U Virtual Console as well.
Fire Emblem Awakening is the first 3DS game and is the most accessible game on this list if you are afraid of the permadeath mechanic- because you can just turn it off entirely! This game stars popular characters like Lucina and Robin (who is customizable and can be renamed) and builds on a variety of mechanics and themes from every other game in the series. This game was designed to be the ultimate Fire Emblem game due to uncertainty about the series’ future, but as a result of its success Fire Emblem has exploded in popularity. It’s easy to understand why if you play it! This one is the most expensive game on the list and can be difficult to emulate, but it’s by far worth it.
“But Diddgery,” you may be saying, “What if I’ve played those games and I want more Fire Emblem? Where should I go next?” Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
If you enjoyed The Blazing Blade, you absolutely should seek out the fan translation for Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. This game stars Roy and takes place several years after The Blazing Blade wraps up, so you’ll be able to learn about what happened to your favorite characters and potentially meet their offspring. Some aspects of the fan translation clash with the translations you may see in games like Awakening and Heroes- most notably character names- but the fan translators did a great job of being true to the way Blazing Blade was translated. You should also consider checking out Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, the third and final GBA entry. This game features branching promotion paths and an overworld map, two elements that hadn’t been seen in the series since the NES days. If you happen to be a 3DS Ambassador, this is one of the free GBA games you received, so you really have no excuse not to try it out if that’s the case.
If you enjoyed Shadow Dragon, track down the fan translation of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem. This game is a remake of Mystery of the Emblem, a SNES sequel to Marth’s first game, and remains the only game in the series to not get a release outside of Japan after the series went worldwide. It features a customizable player avatar who is playable much in the vein of Robin. Many gameplay features that were missing in Shadow Dragon make it into this game- most notably support conversations. Another game you may consider trying is Fire Emblem Gaiden, which is a sidestory set on another continent in the same world as Shadow Dragon and features a variety of unique gameplay differences that have rarely been seen since. Keep in mind this game’s remake, Fire Emblem Echoes, will be releasing outside of Japan in May, so it may be best to just wait for that rather than play the NES original.
If you enjoyed Awakening, you should check out Fire Emblem Fates for the 3DS. It builds and polishes on Awakening’s gameplay and completely overhauls the weapon system of the series. It also goes full anime as far as story and character design goes (albeit with some censorship outside of Japan so you can’t pet and stroke your units). Unfortunately this game has its three storylines divided into three separate games; if you want to play all three, it’s going to cost you about $80 USD and will eat up a lot of time. Whether or not it’s worth it is entirely up to you. Fans of Awakening may also enjoy Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, a SNES title that Awakening drew heavy inspiration from.
If you liked any of the above, check out Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for the Gamecube. It’s got catgirls and catboys and y’all like that, right? Also this is the game that Ike from Smash Bros. first appeared. He fights for his friends, and if you play this game you can learn who his friends are and also why he fights for them.
Here’s a link to a page where you can find a bunch of info and links to fan translations, also. Happy Fire Emblem-ing!
