#song of the day #I just remembered to go back and edit this song file on my comp so it has the correct artist #it was so stupid funny--last week-ish Duncan and I were talking about the playlist I'd made for him to veto things off of #(neither of the boys are any good at telling me what songs of mine they /do/ like so we've landed on this variably-successful strategy #where instead I make a playlist of my best guesses for their taste and then as it plays through they tell me which songs I was wrong about)#and we got to 'Brown Chicken Brown Cow' by Trace Adkins and I was like 'yeah you probably don't want this one do you'#and he was like *extremely flat expression* No. Thanks.#and I told him I'd already remembered to remove 'Ala-Freakin-Bama' (also by Trace Adkins. same album and all) so I should get partial credi #and he was like mm. sure.#and I told him how I'd started with my 'all country music on my laptop' playlist for scaffolding #and then added in pretty much everything I had by other artists he'd seemed to enjoy before #(Duncan's more tolerant of this playlist-winnowing process than Nick is so his playlist starts with a much wider net #Nick's playlist I was a lot more cautious with because if I lose him at an early stage we'll never get a successful final product)#anyhow so Duncan rolled his eyes so mightily at the mention of Ala-Freakin-Bama and I was like actually you know what #here's all the songs I have by Trace Adkins. tell me which ones you /do/ want and we'll pull all the rest now (to save your eyeballs)#and he looked over the whole list (about twenty songs) and finally he said 'oh! Watermelon Crawl! I do like that one. at least there's one'#and I had to laugh and tell him 'actually I'm pretty sure that's mislabeled. that's a Tracy Byrd song' and he rolled his eyes again #turns out there's actually no Trace Adkins song Duncan will tolerate! no respect for the artistry of the Honky-Tonk Badonkadonk

i feel like at this point in the entire honky story in the entire one (1) arc and 1/3 parts of a chapter the entire screentime owl has and 60% of it is just him crying being a wet sopping piece of cardboard and it would be ok if it amounted to anything but it’s like hes just a punching bag that serves to introduce useless concepts that never get used well. and its like,,,,mhy literally finds a way to bring this guy back from the dead and completely disregard everything from his established backstory and make it another shit arc like mhy can u just let this guy die and forget abt him so my attachment to him can fade and the owl brainworms can finally lose their hold on my brain its been two years i want rest

i did Not Start feeling better lol.i feel worse

#my throat hurts so bad ive been popping mints all day and rhey kinda help #but i also feel so incredibly woozy and physically weak and im overheating like crazy #and ive legit collapsedlike.twice #and i ws supposed to have 6 rooms everybody ws gonna have 6 rooms but none of my rooms were gone so she gave me ones of Charles #so now he only has to do 5 and i have to do 7 and one of thems a deepcleab so i basically have to do 8 #and im over 30 minutes behind which is an entire room #i wanna give myself a 30 minute lunch break bc i think ive earned it but thatll tank my mpr even more #im thisss close to crying #i just wanna go home and rake a nap and feel better but thatll ruin my sleep schedule and i have to go to work again tomorrow #and im pretty sure im missing a family dinner. with my dads side oft eh family aka All of my cousins #whatever. i feel so bad. and rajis still here she was supposed to be gone but shes still here and she cn be rly rly mean anytkme im like #showjng weakness.+ shes violated labor laws sm by telljng me shell writeme up if i take either of my 10minuye breaks (im supposed to get 1 #at 11 and the second one at 3 but they bitch at me everytime nd told me that if i keep takjng them illget a write up #and shes like..told me not to yake lunch before not even a 15 minute one when i only had 1 room left #it makes me wanna throw up i hage it here i just wanna go home and my fucking raise hasnt gone thriugh kristle got hers weeks ago and she #started the day after me #i dont get fucking paid enough for this everything is so fucking awful. n when i get home im just gonna sit and cry bc i dont have anything #else to fuckin do #whatever. i feel like track 3 off honky chateau by elton john.#wahhh wahh.and also anither rhjng #i packed thanksgiving leftovers for lunch but theyre repulsive to me for no fuckjng reason i cant eat them #but im ohhsically weak and ikpart of that is bc i judt had a protein shake this morning. and nothjng else #but i just rlt rly rly dont want to eT the thanksgiving leftovers but if i dont itll be even worse and. gd i feel awful #sry for making a vent postim henuinely on the verge of tears im so frustrated i fucking hate it here i want to be home
