why does brennan make his d20 characters assless. like truly.
we just got confirmation of evan's today, with:
"I just need to point out, with how I'm imagining Evan's musculature and body, his butt cheek is sort of an amorphous leg to back zone." ~ Misfits and Magic II, Episode 4, "A Change of Plan"
then you have raphaniel. i believe the phrase was:
"I don't think you've ever seen legs connect to lower back and have a butt hole in the middle. And be like, there is no butt. It is legs to back with a butt hole in the middle and no ass." ~ The Ravening War, Episode 4, "The Light and the Shadow"
captain hob is ass out all the time, but has digitigrade bugbear legs and a little deer tail and enough fur that you cannot tell how much ass he has, if he has any.
"So, immaculate military uniform, no pants, because his legs are digitigrade like a cat's, like a cougar's legs, and he's got a little deer tail that's white on the underside to help communicate danger to my comrades in arms!" ~ A Court of Fey and Flowers, Episode 1, "A Bloom to Remember"
the only one who has an ass, canonically, is tula, and she's a stoat, with a quadrupedal body plan.
(Tula): "Everyone relax. Mama keeps it tight, but we don't have to talk about that right now." (Viola): [holding a hypothetical badonkadonk] "Look at this butt! She's had this butt since she was a child! Look at that thing, golly!" ~ Burrow's End, Episode 8, "Five"
like what is the source of this. why is he like this.
to be clear: nothing wrong with assless men. why is it the majority, and why the distinct mention of it. the phrasing legs to back is used on two separate occasions.

I think if Oda really decides to give Sanji a canonical love interest (pls don’t) I can only accept Nami. He’s always had something special for her and if Sanji is Oda’s self insert then Nami being the wife checks off lol. They do have a really cute relationship and I can see them working out.
Unless Oda got boinked in the head and makes sanji and zoro kiss nasty style LOLLL THEN GO AHEAD
((Actually what if they end up like the little garden giants. Very platonic codependent bros fighting every day in a totally non gay way))
Tumblr media
I mean the thing is Oda CAN change, he CAN evolve his writing because he doesn't agree with his past views. But after writing WCI, he seemed to semi-regret Sanji and Pudding because he said both of those characters lost fans upon writing romance. I'm not sure if that means anything, and Oda isn't one to cave to fan appeal, but I have no clue what that will mean from here on out.
I truly hope he doesn't regret it anyhow, cause I do think Pudding and Sanji are gorgeous and very sweet, and it was such a touching story between the two of them. It just kind of bothers me a great amount when people take that story and decide "Yup so this is it! Obviously endgame!" like......nothing has been set in stone guys that was just one of many stories we've seen within the series. Sanji also had a connection and a seemingly requited crush with Viola, Sanji is LITERALLY the reason Viola broke away from Doffy and helped free her kingdom, but I don't see ANYONE saying those two will be endgame ?? It's bizarre to me LMAO
ANYWAYS with those last things, I think it just tends to be people forgetting what has happened in the story. The Zoro being a lapdog one does frustrate me a lot though because it's like, Zoro has openly disagreed with Luffy PLENTY of times. I don't know why people think Zoro would just immediately kill someone cause Luffy told him to, as if Zoro's totally mindless without any thoughts or morals of his own LMAO

Alright, go crazy, go stupid ✌️
48. What’s your favorite physical/design feature for this character?
For the Bloodborne girl cast!
uhhh, Maria, Doll, Annalise, Henriett, Gratia, Queen Yharnam, Ebrietas, Rom, Flora, Kos, Arianna, Adella, Eileen, white church doctor, black church doctor, Fausefka, Iosefka, Old Lady lol, Viola, Gascoigne’s daughters, Mergo’s Wet Nurse, Vicar Amelia, Witches of Hemwick, uhhhhhhh, Yurie, Bell Women, Cainhurst portrait women, Dores, Adeline,…..uhhhh….well….dammit if I have forgotten someone very important then I apologize to all women.
(Ask from this ( x ) meme) Ohhhh boy, look who heard out my wish to discuss the design features!! Thank you very much!
48) What’s your favorite physical/design feature for this character?
ATTENTION: for some of these characters I might use my own headcanons on their appearances as an answer!
Maria and Doll: their lovely super pale eyelashes! As usual, common Fromsoft W putting effort into a detail that is hard to notice by normal means!
Tumblr media
As for the distinct design elements (which in their case their clothes), for Maria I love the cute smaller broches by either side of her main one, and for the Doll I love her cute floral-patterned gloves!
Tumblr media
Annalise: I love her big forehead. I am worried that I miss out this feature on accident sometimes in my drawings of her (just need more art skill), but I am mindful about it!
Tumblr media
Henriett: I love that she either 1) is implied to wear a makeup (gotta stay class no matter what) or 2) just has naturally different color for brows and eyelashes? Common Fromsoft W on details no sane person would detect yet AGAIN. Close second is her awesome top hat that no one wears like her.
Tumblr media
Gratia: I love her red hair so much. She has the most red hair in the setting. I love this so much. Hers is more red than Cainhurst red, even.
Tumblr media
(From this ( x ) page with datamined corpse models, some of the following ones will also be from here)
Queen Yharnam: This is exclusive for her pregnant/boss variant, the one we interact with peacefully doesn't have them. But I love cute rose-themed decorations around her gown! Adorable detail!
Tumblr media
Ebrietas: Her big anime girl green eyes, what else I can say? x) The very distinct feature, and they look like there are green cosmic nebulas shining inside them!
Tumblr media
Rom: This is hard to choose because this IS the perfect female body, I think her existence alone should prove how useless beauty standards are dhfsdh I will never be her 😔 Her adorable tails is the close second, but I love that she is a forest. What grows on her back is more resembling of tree branches with glowing buds! This is not lumenweed, this is lumenWOOD! XD
Tumblr media
Flora: The small wings. Of the 'skinny' type and not birdlike type, same as Ebrietas' and celestial children, but kinda damaged, or undeveloped? These wings tell a story. Feels similar to how Amygdalae have just lump of flesh in the place of wings, but their Kin, Gardens of Eyes, do have beautiful butterfly wings! It feels like a theme of needing humanity (?) to be truly fulfilled. Jealous Moon, eh?
Tumblr media
Kos: I love her fins, especially the fin on her back! Well, it doesn't look very fin-like anymore, and there is clearly better look at it on the concept art! Just...... fish
Tumblr media
Arianna: I love her purple eyes! Really stands out! I was really excited to find out she had such unusual feature!
Tumblr media
Adella: Similarly to Henriett, I love how her brows and eyelashes color has a contrast with her hair color! Hers is paler!
Tumblr media
Eileen: The only truly notable feature about her design is her unique mask, as Bloody Crow wears the same garb, and I feel like it won't really say anything.. The girl doesn't even have canon face data! So let me pull my own out uhhh..
Tumblr media
I am quite happy with her beak! x) I needed the resemblance of 'crow' in her visual design, you don't understand! My initial idea for her design, though, was making her blonde in earlier life and then have silver, basically white hair in her old age, while still having skin dark because contrast is so good. It would be to symbolise a change, from "sunshine" to "moonlight".. I got discouraged when I was told it was 'unrealistic' feature for dark skinned people (and should not have listened, because Bloodborne already has two characters canonically who are blondes with dark skin). If I ever backtrack on that idea for her, consider the beautiful white hair and how it contrasts to be the answer!
White Church Doctor: In this case I will go for the obvious answer. This is her cute mole! I am so happy when other people notice it too!! When someone draws this character and does feature the mole, I am so happy ;-;
Tumblr media
Black Church Doctor: I love the shape of her eyes! Interestingly though, she uses the same sliders as female preset hunter (in initial character creation), and her eyes are green like Brador's and have a similar shape, also her eyelashes are same color as his. Both Brador and Paleblood Hunter come from the same foreign land as their clothes lore suggest, so... same country? Or even relation to Brador? Hello....?
Tumblr media
Fauxsefka and Iosefka: Eyelashes. Eyelashes. They use the especially long variant of eyelashes. I always enjoy drawing them, especially Fauxsefka's!
Tumblr media
Lonely Old Dear: This is the hardest one yet, because there is nothing particular to point out. There are no other distinct old female characters we are shown in the game, nor her outfit is unique as there are many corpses in this outfit in Yahar'gul (and one in the woods). I do like the cute setting-appropriate hat, but I think a more fair one is to say that they bothered showing her eyes condition!
Tumblr media
Viola: I love her red brooch! ...that we never do see on her in the game. But I think it is a really good detail for her design, and the best color to contrast with both her hair and clothes!
Tumblr media
Older Daughter: This is an interpretation liberty, since this can and likely is a blood drop, but I like to think she has a spot on her forehead!
Tumblr media
Younger daughter: Another case where I gotta use my own design! I like how her appearance mixes that of both parents rather than resembling one or another x) Gascoigne used to have auburn hair and green eyes, so hers mix those colors with Viola's blonde hair and blue eyes!
Tumblr media
Mergo's Wet Nurse: Uhhhhh everything?? She is so incredibly stylish? fdsjfdshfd I fucking LOVE the absurd amount of heavily detalized trinkets all over her body! Get it.... because crows love shinies...... haha....
Tumblr media
(Take a closer look at all her glory in wiki's gallery ( x ))
Amelia: Her very tiny tail. :3
Tumblr media
Witches of Hemwick 1 and 2: The fact that!!!!! the eyes are all different colors??? How sick is this??? Look at this! Some also have iris whitening, same as what happened with Djura's eyes, and others have fully enlargened pupil!
Tumblr media
Witch of Hemwick 3: Okay, you absolutely saw this one coming lol. I love how wide is her nasal bridge! Very distinct feature! (Also coming clear with my skill issue, as I do not give a justice to her eyes; in reality they're smaller and located wider from each other!)
Tumblr media
Yurie: I really like her lips shape, actually! Very full, very smoochable.
Tumblr media
Bell-Ringing Women: I love the decoration circling around their cape! This really adds to the design, it looks so much better this way than if it was just plain cape as is!
Tumblr media
Cainhurst portrait women: Damn, they are all so beautiful! I guess as for Bell-Ringer resembling one, the previous point applies! Though she looks like she could be mother of Iosefka and Fauxsefka? And the knight woman has a very distinct nose shape! With Annalise's mother (I am not sure who else would wear a crown on portrait whereas not being Annalise..), I of course love how long her neck is x) Her posture is so regal, and this emphasises it!
Similar feature shared with the one who wears silver variant of the Noble Dress (basically Arianna's dress, and even identical shoes, but a bit more detailed in a couple of places). I'm gonna say though, I do love the silver variant more than burgundy one, especially with Forsaken Castle Ghosts whose hair became platinum! And the old lady has not only the necklaces, but also earrings and the bracelet which are quite modest and harder to see, but they are here! I love this attention to small details!
Tumblr media
Dores: As iconic as her wearing a scalp of Pthumerian face like a mask is, but my favourite bit is, actually, the ungodly amount of tools dangling from her belt! My Mico in his Research Hall surgeon era can only dream about the same level of unsettling x)
Tumblr media
Adeline: Again, she has the appearance of a Research Hall patient with the exception of larger amount of belts (she is feral!) and unique bandana around her neck! It feels unfair to point out either of these, because... yeah, sure. They just make her distinct. So I'll refer to my version of her and say that I love her hair buns and want to squeeze them every time I draw her. x) The bandana IS precious, though!
Tumblr media
______________________
Okay that was WILD, thank you for letting me go mad dfhahds You HAVE forgotten Hemwick Gravewomen, Evil Labyrinth Spirits, Snail/Slug Women, Mergo's Chief Attendants and female Beast Patients though XD I've met Tumblr images limit so I have to combine into one image.
But, Hemwick Gravewomen have strangely elongated skulls, and I love this bit. Considering the bandage over their forehead, perhaps, they've found their own way to place eyes on their brain? With statue behind Memory Altar and in the dungeons featuring a stitch over forehead and Rune Tool being found in Hemwick, would not be surprising. And with Evil Labyrinth Spirits, I guess I love the cool feature that is only in the concept art, but didn't make it into the actual model?? The evil red spirits erupting from her belly area are so badass??
With Slug Women, I guess the only thing I can tell is which variant I like more... And it is the shell one, of course x) Or simply red eyes with female Beast Patients! But with Chief Attendants, the plate on their bellies features upturned wings, and this is my favourite detail! They could represent wings of Wet Nurse or Flora! I love the mystery hidden on the plain sight so much!! Why could not Bloodborne give us a way to farm armour from mobs so we could read the description that would explain... ;-;
Tumblr media
Okay, now my brain is OFFICIALLY fried (in a good way), and this post definitely will help me as a good self-reference! This is, however, now one of my favourite posts by myself, because.. many women.

The Couples in T&T Represent Phoenix/Dollie
I played through the second investigation day of Recipe for Turnabout the other night, and it made me realize something properly for the first time.
All of the couples in Trials and Tribulations parallel one another. Honestly, it makes sense that they would - T&T has more canon couples than any other game as far as I can recall. The series typically focuses on familial or friend relationships rather than romance of any kind. But this game in particular has a lot of couples, all of a sudden; there's gotta be meaning to that. And there is.
Every single couple in T&T reflects some aspect of Phoenix's relationship with Dahlia/Iris, and the progression of them as you go through the game reflects his journey as he heals from the betrayal, as well as exploring possible other ways Phoenix's relationship could have turned out instead (both good and bad). In doing so, it also ties in really nicely to the themes of the other two games in the trilogy.
This gets pretty long since there are a lot of couples to talk about, so I'm putting it under a cut. Read on if you like!
First off, here's a list of the couples, in order of appearance:
Feenie/Dahlia (3-1) *
Doug/Dahlia (3-1)
Ron/Desiree (3-2)
Gumshoe/Maggey (3-3)
Tigre/Viola (3-3)
Mia/Diego (3-4)
Terry/Dahlia (3-4) **
Godot/Mia (3-5)
Phoenix/Iris (3-5) *
*I'm counting these as the relationship as it was presented at the time, as well as how Phoenix thought of the relationship. I'll get a bit more into the nuance of Dahlia vs. Iris later.
** This relationship is pretty upsetting in several ways and there's a lot that could be said about it. However, for the purposes of this meta, I won't be really getting into all of that fully, instead briefly discussing the thematic/interpersonal relevance.
There's at least one couple per case (typically two which contrast one another), and no matter how you count up characters, a minimum of 5 reciprocal relationships (meaning established couples, not necessarily reciprocated feelings). Every single one of these relationships has strong importance to the plot, and what's more, we see all of the characters alive onscreen and get to interact with them (with the exception of flashback couple Doug/Dahlia). This is a significant departure from the first two games. In PW, Larry/Cindy is important, and Yanni/Polly has relevance for motivations, but in both examples one of the characters is already dead, and they don't have impacts on other cases. In JFA there's a whole love triangle at the circus centering on Regina, as well as a different sort of percieved 'love' triangle in the final case involving Adrian. Neither of these actually show a reciprocal relationship onscreen, and while you could talk about the ways they contrast one another that's a different post. We get closest with Juan/Adrian and Maggey/Dustin, but again only one person is still alive in both those pairs by the time their cases start. (Granted, I'm not counting Larry's other infatuations or Oldbag's with Edgeworth in any of these metrics. But they have a very different feel, you know?) Even games released after this one don't have the same density of romantic relationships as far as I can recall. This game stands out.
As I said before, I think the reason why is clear: all these relationships reflect Phoenix. For the first time, a main character has a romantic relationship. Not only that, but the player character, the one the series is named after, and the one whose arc this game in particular is meant to tie up. Previous games centered far more around the Feys and Edgeworth's arc, and Phoenix grew in ways related to his relationships with both of them. And that's certainly still true, don't get me wrong, but T&T puts Phoenix's own personal feelings and motivations more front and center via the throughline of his relationship in college and the aftershocks thereof. This is why there are so many romantic relationships... and why they all reflect the central one of Phoenix/Dollie (meaning both Dahlia and Iris). The exception there is Miego, which is significant as well for the fact that this game's prosecutor/rival's entire motivation is tied up in a romantic relationship. And it still ties into some of the themes going on even if not as directly as the other couples.
I'm going to break this down couple by couple, going down the list chronologically by case. Then there's a final wrap-up at the end.
.
Feenie/Dahlia
This is the catalyst. In the first case, we flash back to when Phoenix was Feenie: quick to fall in love, naive, willfully blind, very emotionally demonstrative, very emotionally vulnerable, dedicated... betrayed.
As far as Phoenix understands his relationship, it was one of deep and real love. The person he knows could never have done the things she's accused of. The person he knows loves him back. Phoenix is willing to take the fall for her even when all the evidence points Dahlia's way, even when she seems to be turning against him, because he believes so completely in the person he knows. He's even willing to destroy evidence to save her. But finally, by the end of the trial, he's forced to surrender to the facts. They don't match up to his perception, and the conclusion we (players on their first playthrough as well as the characters themselves) have to draw is that Phoenix was wrong all along. He was fooled; Dahlia used him and then tried to get rid of him when his usefulness ended. She never cared about him at all, and in fact hates him. She thinks he's an idiot.
This has lasting scars for Phoenix. He is far more closed-off after this case, far more prone to hide his feelings, or at the very least be less demonstrative. He develops a deep hatred for two things: betrayal, and poison. And it seems pretty clear that he has a harder time trusting people, at the very least in a romantic capacity.
In terms of some specific details that later on get echoed: Phoenix fell in love at first sight. His partner lied to him, and he didn't realize for a long time. She tried to poison him. Even when he had lots of evidence, he couldn't bring himself to confront the truth for quite a while.
.
Doug/Dahlia - BAD END 1
This relationship is the only one in the entire game where we don't get to see and interact with both characters. Nonetheless, this is an important early contrast to Phoenix/Dahlia, in two significant ways.
First, Doug realized Dahlia was up to something, and he broke off his relationship with her. He was able to look past his feelings to become suspicious of her.
Second, Dahlia killed Doug. When he tried to stop her from hurting someone else instead of just keeping his distance from her, he paid the ultimate price.
Doug's entire story is a look at "what could have been" if Feenie had been less trusting of Dahlia in the beginning. But it's a bad end. Doug never came forward about what he suspected Dahlia had done to Diego, possibly because he felt complicit given the poison was his creation (an early parallel to Iris); when he did try to help the second time around, he fatally failed.
Doug trusts evidence over emotion, unlike Phoenix who believed in 'Dollie' till the end. He is at once a cautionary tale of how Phoenix could have been killed by her (/representative of Phoenix's love being 'killed'), and also a kind of model to trust the facts over your feelings. Their relationship reflects Phoenix's feelings of betrayal and reluctant acceptance of the verdict immediately after his trial. As such, it's fitting that we see this couple at the same trial - it represents Phoenix's initial trauma and pain.
.
Ron/Desiree - IDEAL END
There's already a really fantastic meta about how the Delites parallel Feenie's relationship by @eggpngg, and I don't want to just retread all of what she said. Please go read that post instead - suffice to say, there are parallels between both Phoenix=Ron + Dahlia=Desiree, and Phoenix=Desiree + Dahlia=Ron.
I do, however, want to add on slightly. Just as Doug/Dahlia was a "bad end" for Phoenix, this is a different kind of 'what could have been' scenario. In this case, it's the ending he hopes for. The partner who was lying (Ron/Dahlia) was revealed to have been doing so out of love all along, and was innocent of murder. The partner who fell in love at first sight (Desiree/Phoenix) had their affection returned and their faith in their partner rewarded in the end. Though there were still lies and betrayal, everything turned out okay in the end and they were stronger than ever.
The Delites represent the kind of relationship Phoenix hoped for. They are his last kernel of uncertainty about the trial, the part of him that stubbornly, even after so long, can't help but think about how different the Dollie he knew was from the Dahlia he saw on the stand. It's his wistful daydreaming and doubting, something he wanted but never got. This would be a recurring dream in the time shortly after the trial, as Phoenix dwells on his college relationship.
.
Gumshoe/Maggey - HOPEFUL END
Gumshoe's affections for Maggey aren't returned. In fact, she feels as though he has betrayed her when his testimony is unhelpful, and is angry at him for most of the trial. However, they are both good people who care about others. Maggey's anger is based on a misunderstanding, and by the end of the trial, Gumshoe's earnest affections and dedication to her is able to reach her. She may not feel the same way, but their relationship isn't broken. And there's hope that she may return his affection in the future (the gifted trenchcoat).
Maggey is Phoenix in several ways: accused of murder, feeling betrayed. But Gumshoe is Phoenix too: he believes in the person he loves, she doesn't love him back, he investigates and learns the truth for her sake. This time around, no one is really playing the role of Dahlia/Iris. Instead, both parts of this couple still represent a better outcome Phoenix wishes could have happened for himself.
However, once we are looking at them purely in terms of metaphor for Phoenix's relationship, Gumshoe/Maggey as a couple is asking for a lot less. Phoenix has over time given up on the idea of a true happy ending like the Delites got. Maybe it's true that Dahlia never loved him. Maybe it's been long enough that he's almost okay with that. But what if she weren't truly all that bad? What if she at least weren't a killer - what if he could have saved her? It's still a hope... just a smaller hope, something more tempered. Phoenix eventually moved on from still being in love with his Dollie; at the same time he never quite got over hoping she truly was the person he knew.
.
Tigre/Viola - BAD END 2
In the same case that we see Gumshoe/Maggey as a kind of softer hope, we get this couple as a harsh, even brutal, reminder of the reality of how Phoenix/Dahlia turned out. Tigre/Viola are sharply divided in who they represent, for the first time. There isn't any mixup between Phoenix mirroring both people in the couple, or even between Dahlia/Iris really. Instead, for the first time, Iris/Phoenix both share a representative. But I'll get to that in a moment; first, Tigre.
Tigre is firmly Dahlia. His only callback to Iris is when he impersonates another person to cover up his own crime - and that could be seen as relating to Dahlia too, given she later impersonates Iris. Tigre was the first one to approach his partner and initiate a romantic relationship, in an attempt to avoid consequences for a crime he had just committed (car crash/poisoning Diego). He stayed with Viola out of a fear of the consequences catching up to him, but despite her devotion, he looked down on her. Tigre even insulted her as soon as the jig was up, much like Dahlia expressed contempt for Phoenix once she was no longer pretending to love him. Tigre's weapon of choice was poison, just like Dahlia. And just like Dahlia, he used someone's love for him to help him get away with a murder he'd already committed.
Meanwhile, Viola is an amalgam of both Phoenix and Iris (and someone else, but I'll get to that later). She is Phoenix, once again, in that love at first sight. In trusting and believing her partner even against her own doubts. However, this time, that trust isn't warranted, and she's eventually forced to confront that fact. She is betrayed and injured by the one she loves... and all because she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (car crash/courtroom meeting). She's also Iris - despite knowing what she's doing is wrong, despite knowing Tigre is a murderer, she loves him and wants to protect him from being arrested, so she impersonates someone else (Viola faking being a waitress poisoning someone/Iris being 'Dollie' ).
This bad end comes later for a reason. Because Phoenix has to be the one to help Viola face the truth about Tigre. He's very gentle about it too, guiding her along with evidence in a Psyche-Lock conversation as he says things like, "But do you honestly believe that to be true?" and "Do you want to know what I think...?" leading into him asking her if it's possible Tigre is only with her because he's scared of Bruto. Phoenix doesn't often talk this way. He isn't usually callous or anything, but he generally speaks confidently when presenting evidence, making statements as opposed to questions. But in this moment, he just gives Viola the option gently. He leads her to the truth, just like he was led in his own trial - but not forcibly (unlike his trial). He's obviously empathizing with her feelings in this moment of horrible acceptance.
And then comes this exchange:
Viola: I wanted to believe him... I wanted to trust what Don Tigre said... He said it had nothing to do with my grandfather being Bruto Cadaverini... I wanted to believe he helped me because he cared about me. Not about my grandfather... But I knew... That wasn't really true... Maya: Wow. I'm so sorry. Viola: What he did to get the money was... It was... evil! Phoenix: ...! Viola: He said it was all for me... So I... I helped him...
Viola hands over her medical records, and as soon as she leaves, Phoenix exclaims, "It's inexcusable!" out loud, before going on to think, "(There are two things that I consider inexcusable. Poisoning, and betrayal! Only a coward would hurt people using either of these tactics.)" He's obviously visibly upset, because Maya asks if he's okay. And then right after this, when they meet Tigre, Phoenix gets so angry at him. In the second game, Phoenix mostly got over his tendency to show vital evidence to murderers and reveal his hand too soon, seeing as it never worked out for him (White, von Karma). But he does it again here, and the only reason the evidence isn't stolen from him is because of Gumshoe stepping in. Tigre demands the medical records back, and Phoenix shows them just to tell Tigre he won't be getting them. He brings up the betrayal of Viola's trust. He swears that he'll convict Tigre. It's no longer just about defending Maggey - Phoenix wants revenge this time.
And that's the big difference between this bad ending and the last one. Doug represented the pain Phoenix felt in the immediate aftermath. Viola represents the anger Phoenix feels when all is said and done. The hatred he has for Dahlia, the desire to confront her and get revenge for how much she hurt him. Viola isn't dead like Doug in the aftermath; instead, it's heavily implied that she poisons Tigre in prison, acting out the kind of revenge Phoenix wants to have. (But using a method he considers cowardly and would never do, foreshadowing how revenge isn't his primary motivator even when he gets the urge.)
This is also foreshadowing for Phoenix's urge to defend Iris later on. By merging Phoenix and Iris's roles together here, instead of Iris/Dahlia, Viola opens a path to putting them on the same side for the first time. Thematically we are shifting towards Phoenix/Iris reconciliation and Phoenix/Dahlia enmity, just in time for things to all start fitting together.
.
Mia/Diego - HOPEFUL BEGINNING
This brings us to the next flashback. Miego stand out among all the other couples in the game, because they actually hold nearly an equal share of narrative weight as Phoenix/Dollie. Their relationship is key to Mia's hatred of Dahlia (which lead to her and Phoenix inspiring one another), as well as motivating everything Godot does after he wakes up from his coma. As such, Mia and Diego don't quite reflect Phoenix's relationship in the same way that all the other couples do. Instead, they hold their own. In fact, some of the other couples reflect them as well, though to a lesser degree that more concerns things echoing what happened to Diego (e.g., an entire case revolving around poisoned coffee).
However, the difference between Miego when they're both alive, and the state of affairs in the present time, is a distinct contrast as well. Miego in 3-4 aren't a couple yet. Instead, their relationship is something hopeful, something that develops out of a comradery and dedication to the truth/justice. Every couple in this game has a relationship that is hurt by lies or misunderstandings. Miego and the Delites are the only established couples where those secrets are entirely about helping the other person, and were forgivable without costing the relationship. Yes, Diego meeting up with Dahlia ends up putting him in a coma and their relationship isn't resumed after that, but we don't see any evidence of Mia resenting him for continuing to work on the case, or anything like that.
Of course, none of that happens yet - that's for later, chronologically in between 3-4 and 3-1. During this trial, Mia and Diego's relationship is most importantly one of equal partners, both supporting and encouraging one another.
.
Terry/Dahlia - BAD END 3
Every time there are two couples in the same case, they contrast one another, as well as represent one good/bad possibility each. Everything about the Terry/Dahlia relationship is completely different from Mia/Diego.
Miego are just beginning; Terry/Dahlia are finished both as a couple, and also never going to see one another after this. Mia and Diego both want the same things, and work together to get them. In their initial relationship, Terry wanted love, Dahlia wanted money, and she actively sabotages him. When they met again, he wanted the truth while she worked to hide it. Miego are partners. Diego is a bit older, and more experienced than her initially, but they're both adults, clearly mentally on a level and even over the course of just this one trial he begins to start working with and supporting her as an equal rather than a subordinate. Contrast that to the many layers of inequality in Terry/Dahlia, from the pedophilic age gap (20/14) to Dahlia's cleverness vs. Terry being portrayed as slow/possibly disabled (a not-so-great portrayal to say the least), to him being her teacher and her his student, etc.
This relationship of course culminates with both possible bad endings Phoenix later avoids in his trial: Terry refuses to admit the truth that Dahlia betrayed him, and dies from drinking poison on the stand. Phoenix comes alarmingly close to both outcomes, but manages to escape physically/legally unscathed despite the trauma he experiences.
Neither of the couples in this flashback case directly correspond to Phoenix's recovery from/emotions about his relationship with Dahlia after the fact. That makes sense given that it is a flashback set before he even was in said relationship. However, they both represent one final "what could have been" contrast, one Phoenix learns about when he is in the hospital, preparing to defend Iris in court. Before he learns the full truth of the matter, he gets one final look at how things could have gone for him. Either a supportive partnership (what he wanted, but which could never happen with Dahlia), or a dismal end (what he nearly got).
.
Godot/Mia - BAD END 4
The thing is, as soon as he learns about Miego, Phoenix realizes who Godot is. And while he may not instantly know that he was the one who killed Misty and why, as soon as he knows Diego's identity, seeing Godot prosecute Iris has got to be ringing alarm bells. Godot at the very least could be drawing the same connections between Dahlia and Iris as Phoenix. (In fact he's way ahead of him for a while.)
Mia/Diego doesn't get to remain a simple "what if" of a happy couple for Phoenix. As soon as he realizes who the people involved are, he knows they ended in tragedy as well. But Godot's storyline doesn't represent a possible bad end for Phoenix/Dahlia back in the day anymore. Instead, his actions which lead to 3-5 are a continuation of what we saw with Viola/Tigre in 3-3. We're picking back up on Phoenix's current-day emotional arc, and Godot is following in Viola's footprints in one very specific way. He is obsessed with getting revenge on Dahlia (remember, Tigre = Dahlia. As I said, that distinct split there was significant in multiple ways, and Viola parallels one more character).
And Godot is the final bad ending. Sure, he gets his revenge... but it's at a terrible cost. A cost that both he and others are forced to pay. This is what comes of being more focused on the anger and pain you feel, instead of moving on and focusing on the people you still have. The comparison can go even farther because just like Phoenix always has a client he is protecting, Godot was 'protecting' someone in Maya. The plan that he/Misty/Iris use is bonkers and not the best way to keep Maya safe at all, but as @queergodot said once, that's kind of the point. It makes sense for all three characters, and for Godot specifically, it's clear that his drive to protect Maya got twisted up in his wish to be the one who protects her (a different thing than making sure she is protected) and of course his hatred of Dahlia and desire for revenge. Godot/Mia in the final trial is the counter to Phoenix/Iris in the same trial, because once again we have a bad end and a better one.
.
Phoenix/Iris - TRUE END
Phoenix finally learns the truth at the end of the game. His intuitions/hopes were never wrong, exactly: the woman he loved wasn't the Dahlia revealed to him in the courtroom. Iris loved him back, and would never have tried to murder him. And yet, the betrayal he felt was just as real. Iris knew what Dahlia was up to and willingly went along with it. She lied to Phoenix for their entire relationship, and then was too afraid to admit the truth to him in all the years since. Just like Doug, her inability to admit to her complicity in her first crime with Dahlia put her in danger later.
Phoenix learning the truth and protecting Iris is the better end than what happens to Godot and Mia, but it's not a good ending. It's at best hopeful, and if we take the following games into account it's clear they never resume any kind of romantic relationship after this. That's not really any surprise, though. If we follow the 'good ends' leading up to this point, they have been getting less and less hopeful for that. It's been years, and Phoenix is no longer in love with Iris. But he still cares deeply for her, and for what they had. This 'true ending' is most importantly closure for him. It marries together the evidence/facts of the case with what Phoenix's intuition/heart always said. He wasn't wrong to doubt; he also wasn't wrong to accept the facts. Everything makes sense now, everything is out in the open, and he can finally move on.
Phoenix and Iris somewhat contrast Mia/Diego in this final case, by being on the same side. It isn't immediate, far from it... for a long time Iris refuses to fully cooperate despite allowing Phoenix (well, first Edgeworth) to defend her. But she does agree to be defended, she listens to Edgeworth's request that she tell Phoenix the truth, and later does in fact do so as much as possible without betraying Godot, before finally being ready to tell him all after the trial is over. In contrast, Mia and Diego are literally on opposite sides of the courtroom; as soon as they begin to work together even somewhat it's the 'death' of Diego as it leads right to what he did, whereas Iris cooperating helps Phoenix win the case. When Diego finally admits the truth, it's an admission of guilt, not innocence. Neither pair are exactly a team of in-sync partners like Miego were in 3-4, but Phoenix and Iris at least come closer to having a 'positive outcome' (though honestly, the death of Godot and resuming the identity of Diego is much healthier ending for his character than escaping repercussions would've been).
Really though, far more than 3-4 (generally more of an outlier case), both of them follow 3-3 better. Phoenix could have gone down the same route as Viola (is implied to have) and Godot did, becoming wrapped up in revenge. But just as, even in the midst of his anger, he felt so much compassion for Viola helping Tigre out of love, so too does his compassion for Iris win out over his anger towards Dahlia. This is what shifts Phoenix away from the track leading to a final bad end, and instead lands him on something much closer to the resolution of Gumshoe/Maggey from the same case. While Iris is actually guilty of crimes other than murder, and so doesn't walk free at the end like Maggey did, she's not guilty of the crime of trying to kill Phoenix, the most central one to their destroyed relationship. In the end, just like Gumshoe/Maggey, the misunderstanding is cleared up and they end on positive terms. In the final visit to the Iris in the detention center, there's even a hint that he may still have feelings for her, just like we got a hint that Maggey may feel something for Gumshoe. Neither turns into anything in this game (and indeed ever, for Feenris; I believe there's room to read into Magshoe in AAI but it's still not like a confirmed thing), but they don't really need to, because that isn't the point.
The point is that closure. The truth. And choosing compassion over anger. That's the final culmination of Phoenix's arc, and while it does result in Dahlia losing one final time and that's very satisfying, the most important thing is reconfirming his dedication to truly protect people and ensure justice. Justice, not revenge, even when the lines may start to get blurry between the two.
.
Wrap-Up
Phoenix loved Dollie, and was betrayed horribly. In the immediate aftermath he felt deeply hurt (Doug/Dahlia), though a part of him still longed for it all to have been a mistake and for things to end happily (Delites). As time passed, he eventually got over being in love, but still couldn't completely let go of the idea that she hadn't been evil (Gumshoe/Maggey). At the same time, the pain he felt slowly transitioned into anger for all she'd put him through (Viola/Tigre). Finally, he learned the further truth and saw how much more was lost than he ever knew (Mia/Diego) as well as how much worse things could have been for him (Terry/Dahlia). He learned the last missing piece of the story and gained closure at last, choosing compassion (Phoenix/Iris) over revenge (Godot/Mia).
All the couples in the game tie in really well to his arc (with Miego as one partial exception). And not only that, but this storyline helps to conclude the trilogy by marrying themes from the first and second game together. In PW, Phoenix is driven by a belief in Edgeworth that initially flies in the face of the person he's become. It's 'I know my Dollie would never do that' in another guise, and while that faith is justified somewhat, it only goes so far. In JFA (as well as RftA, honestly) Phoenix is confronted with the limits to that sort of belief/motivation. @96percentdone wrote a really good meta about the themes of JFA, I highly recommend you read it. Not going over everything he already said again here, but in the end Phoenix's choice in the Engarde trial shows him the limitations of saving everyone and forces him to choose the truth. T&T now takes both those ideas and first pits them against one another in Phoenix's trial, before resolving the conflict in Iris's trial. We go from "heart" to "truth" to finally, both together instead of being in conflict.

alright Bayonetta character relationship rambling now
uhhhhhhh the really sudden Luka and Bayonetta situation in 3 came right the fuck out of nowhere? in comparison to, say, her more fleshed out friendship with Jeanne? Frankly it's better if none of them are romantic with each other because friends are enough, but we need Viola for some reason? (We don't need Viola, even the game treats her like a punching bag who accomplishes almost nothing.)
So for writing and research reasons I've been watching playthroughs of the mainline Bayonetta games (which only excludes the Baby Cereza prequel iirc?). And I don't think they planted this tree as well as they think they did.
Bayonetta 1: Luka is hunting Bayonetta down since he thinks she killed his father. She kind of doesn't give a fuck at all about what he thinks, since she is a witch and he mildly amuses her with how wrong he often is. He then proceeds to basically babysit Babynetta for the remainder of the story until he gets thrown off a building. Babynetta now does some stuff by virtue of the fact that she was brought to the future and sent back to the past, and she is now strongly implied to be the Bayonetta in 3 who is grown up.
Bayonetta 2: Luka is basically NOT RELEVANT in the slightest. They hired Yuri Lowenthal to do some narration and explain some mystic backstory, but aside a quick save during the final boss, he doesn't do a whole lot.
Bayonetta 3: An AltBayo and an AltLuka have a roughly 18 year old kid now, and this is enough setup for the canonical ones to be romantically involved and have a tragic death together...??????? The exasperated almost-respect Bayonetta has for Luka is not a romantic thing? At all? And Luka being cheesy is not new and is not flirting, he's just a dork. Also remember that this Bayonetta is implied to be the girl he babysat during Bayonetta 1. Even if this isn't the same Luka necessarily, that's still just weird from an audience perspective. And if that's the justification for the relationship, that it's all different universes and maybe this one HAS been flirty with her, that's still really weak because the audience hasn't seen it?????????
Compare: Jeanne
Bayo1: Jeanne and Bayonetta are former friends and now enemies due to Bayonetta's amnesia and Jeanne being mind controlled. They have established now that these characters have history with each other and at the very least are battle sisters. This is exemplified when they literally fall back down to earth with the corpse of Jubileus, and have to work together to destroy it.
Bayo2: Literally the entire plot is kicked off because Bayonetta needs to go get Jeanne's soul from hell so she doesn't die and get eaten and stuff. All the Loki and Loptr and Let's Fight God Again But Different are secondary motivations for Bayonetta. She gets roped in along her way to her actual goal of saving Jeanne. Hell, since we already know all three games are different universes, this Bayonetta and this Jeanne might even be together! They're chatty and casual with each other in a way that they really aren't with anyone else.
Bayo3: What little Bayonetta and Jeanne interaction we have in this one is still hypercasual and very friendly, even a bit playfully barbed with:
"I hope some of the things she told you were TRUE." [Sideways glance at her gal pal]
"You bitch [/aff]!"
So yeah like...????
idk why they needed Viola at all, and since that brick isn't laid properly the whole idea that Luka and Bayonetta need to hook up symbolically is completely out of wack.
Viola's existence and Luka having romantic intent with Bayonetta really just feel like an ouroboros kind of problem. They need to justify only each other and they kind of fail to justify either.

Keep rereading that romance in OP post 'cause honestly it has me thinking about the current options for endgame partnerships.
I put Kaya and Usopp as the most obvious 'cause it literally is. I mean hell we just saw Kaya and a panel of Usopp's 3 veggie friends with them literally pointing out how lucky he is to have a woman like her waiting for him to come home and heal any of his wounds...like please. I miss the days when it was shown how often he thought about her too, making snow statues of her, drawing her, stuff like that.
It's also been heavily implied there WILL be more between Sanji and Pudding. I don't know to what degree Oda will go with them but at some point she has to return his memory of her kissing him, and his reaction to that 'cause hello, that's the first woman to fully and completely return his affection. I know Viola seemed close but I just don't think they got enough in Dressrosa to go further and not much else to imply they'll have more chances to see each other. Pudding has so much set-up to stay a part of Sanji's story past everything that happened in WCI, I firmly believe he'll be the one to save her once the Straw Hat's finally face the Blackbeard pirates.
Less certain but there's also Hiyori and Zoro. I'm not sold on it just yet 'cause Zoro did not care when they parted. I know a lot of people see him and Tashigi and like...eh. All Zoro sees when he's forced to interact with her is Kuina, and Zoro wasn't in love with Kuina, she's his rival and his ''goal''. In order for Tashigi and Zoro to work even remotely that would have to be addressed in full. Semi-likely he ends the series with no partnership though.
I think Chopper's only option is Milky LOL (reindeer mink from Zou) 'cause like...yeah, he can't and doesn't find any appeal in human women, and he's been thoroughly and completely rejected by actual reindeer. He's not even physically or mentally compatible with full animal reindeer anymore thanks to his DF. He could talk with them sure, but would he find a life of a common animal fulfilling if he were try and return to it for partnership? Highly doubtful. Otherwise, Chopper endgame has no love interest, 'cause he's baby (I know he's canonically 16 but shut up I can't accept it).
Two characters in the SHs that are obviously not getting any endgame relationships are Brook and Jinbe, one's literally dead and the other is already well into his adult life having had no prior showcases of being in or pursuing a partnership. It'd be kinda weird to shove one in for Jinbe at this stage in the series or going forward when we're in the final saga with few arcs left.
Luffy remains our aroace king and I hope he stays that way but IF Oda were to pull a Dragon Ball on us then he's done enough work for Hancock to make her the most obvious choice. She loves him, and he at least respects her, which isn't love but who knows. Luffy is not incapable of deep love as clearly shown in this series, it's just not been of the romantic kind and he feels no sexual attraction toward anyone. But honesty if Luffy ends the series with no clear partner I'll cry tears of joy he avoided the shounen curse of getting a bad haircut before being married off with kids for the inevitable sequel.
Nami is a lesbian hasn't been presented with a clear partnership either. So many people ship her with 1 or more men of the crew but aside from that she hasn't interacted enough with any characters that make it clear if she has an endgame partnership. However, there is still time I think...'cause we still don't have all of Nami's backstory. We still know nothing about Oykot and Bellemere finding Nojiko and Nami in those ruins, the fact she was smiling/laughing through the despair (very D. coded) and so that leaves it open for more story for her, where a potential love interest could still be introduced. Otherwise, she may also end the series not paired up.
I'd also throw Robin and Franky in the group of 'no ending partnerships' but for different reasons. Franky because he, like Jinbe, has gone most of his life not being presented as pursuing or caring about that. Franky already has a family, the Franky family, consisting of all his brothers and sisters. He's content with his ragtag-found family back in Water 7, he's always been happy with that dynamic since he was raised that same way by Tom with Kokoro (who were not a couple, just business partners/friends) and Iceburg. If Franky having a love interest was something Oda cared about he'd have sprinkled in any kind of element of interest in his backstory, or showcased him having any type of reaction in the current story from his introduction. But there's nothing, the only reaction of excitement Franky ever showcases is toward cool-ass tech and Vegapunk LOL
Robin because she's only just now fully coming into her own thanks directly to the Straw Hats. Robin's been isolated and burned by people her whole life, it took the events of Enies Lobby for her to FINALLY accept that her crew loves her unconditionally. For her to go from only accepting and loving them thanks to a lot of work to falling for some other person she's met or yet to meet would be interesting to say the least. She'd have to have a good relationship with that person already to some degree to open up to them. Which is why there are people who are open to the idea of her being with Law (they also have several similarities akin to Pudding and Sanji, plus all the time he was with them through multiple arcs has made the crew comfortable with him, including scenes with them specifically). But otherwise, I don't see her in a relationship either in the end of the series.
I guess in conclusion I can only really see 3, maybe 4 out of the 10 current SHs being in a relationship by the time OP ends. I can also see an ending where none of them are ever officially paired off but instead it's left open on where everyone went after completing their dreams/goals and parting ways as the Straw Hats. I'll be interested in seeing what Oda does with them compared to how he left Roger's crew.

sorry if this sounds mean or anything (that's not my intent) but raine whispers plays viola, not violin, as shown by music that's written in alto clef in the file about them
Okay, I actually have Thoughts and Opinions about this one! (I myself am both a violist and an Owl House fan lmao.) We do see sheet music of theirs in alto clef in Follies. However, Avi Roque (their VA) has called it a violin, and Raine's Rhapsody is almost definitely played by a violin on the soundtrack. It doesn't go lower than about a B3, and there's lots of high notes—idiomatic on the violin, (playable but) problematic on the viola. To me it seems more likely that the sheet music was animated by someone who just wanted to include that. Even in-universe, it makes sense for them to have music for another instrument—their secondary instrument, or something they wrote/arranged. (The unthinkable is that they switched from viola to violin, but I'm not gonna entertain that notion. Bad.)
However, does Raine Whispers deserve to be a violist?
They do. They really, really do and I wish they were. I don't think canon intended them to be, and if the writers said definitively that it's a viola I would be surprised...but, like, pleasantly surprised. Ecstatic surprised. I mean, you know how it is, being a violist. It wouls fit with the show and their character better, and it would be awesome to get a violist character, they're pretty rare. And a violist—the butt of orchestra jokes everywhere—who's the head of the bards? Hell yeah. I absolutely understand why a lot of fans want them to be a violist. I do too, I just don't think they are. And I mean, we never see their instrument in the flashforward...maybe they switched 😏
That was a lot of typing. TLDR: I think they are a violinist, unfortunately. However, I'll probably add viola in addition to violin on the poll. A case can be made, and a lot of people like to see them as a violist. Plus, the only other violists got eliminated in the preliminaries.

for the headcanons meme: kinzie
4 headcanons ask meme
Headcanon A:  realistic
Allergies! I've talked about this before but I  just think that she would have a lot of allergies and as I said before, her paranoia started from being told she couldn't touch things that the rest of us take for granted like flowers and peanut butter and cats. From looking it up, generally redheads have more sensitive skin and idk, I just feel it's realistic.
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
I can't think of anything that hilarious but the whole thing around Kinzie hating Nyte Blayde in SR4 when she canonically liked it SR3. I don't think I ever really had Josh and Kinzie as homies at the same time to hear that she liked it, or I just forgot. Either way I wrote that she didn't like it so then had to hc that she was entirely put off by the fact that Matt liked it enough to model a full simulation off of it. Idk if that's hilarious but the fact that I had to throw that in bc of my own fuck up is kind of funny, as is Matt reacting to finding out she used to like it with "Wow, I can’t believe I ruined Nyte Blayde for you, I’m sorry.”... because I genuinely never decided if he meant it or was being sarcastic. Like, oh, right, *that's* the part you apologise for.
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
Just... how extremely depressed, hurt, destroyed she was when the earth blew up. When she lost Oleg and Viola. When she was forced to work with Matt. When she was presumably the only one to experience the simulation twice. Not unlike the Boss, hell not unlike everyone in SR, I don't think the attitude we see from her in game reflects just how soul-crushing it all was for her and I think in private she breaks down a lot.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
Being acespec I guess? They were obviously going for "secretly kinky character" and in my written canon she does engage in some pretty sadistic fetishy stuff but to whether she also seeks stimulation from these encounters is never really elaborated on. The idea that she sits somewhere on the ace spectrum came from the difficulty she had in my fic of making the jump from relationship with Oleg despite me having her sleep with people she has less of a close relationship with no issue, which I ended up explaining with the idea she leans towards fraysexual. Idk, looking back I had a few signs that she was uncomfortable with certain aspects of sexuality that I only really thought about when making decisions for the pride thing.

"Well, Suzume isn't coming to the party, man," William said to Luigi.
"I can't blame her. Walter will be there. He is the last person she'd need to see right now." Luigi sighed, throwing a cigarette onto the ground, and stepped on it. "Why did she date him in the first place?"
"She liked him, dude." William opened a can of beer and drank it. "But, no, he has to fuck it up."
"I'm curious. I thought Miss Ehnleit was the only girl you and your homies give a darn about."
"The hell?" William raised an eyebrow, confused, as he held his half-empty beer. "Did we really look like we only cared about Alicia?"
"You didn't hear it from me, but Walter thinks so." Luigi frowned.
"That bastard! He has the nerve to say shit when he never ONCE gives a damn about Suzume!"
"Y'all didn't hear this one from me," Daisy emerged from the public restroom. "but Suzume may get back together with Viktor."
"Ooooh, fucking shit!" William gaped enthusiastically. "Viktor's pretty much is FUCKED."
"I thought he likes Alice?" Luigi wondered, raising his eyebrow.
"Suzume was in a threesome with Viktor and Alice," Daisy admitted. "Walter has no idea."
"One way to piss off Walter and his ego," William drank the rest of his beer and tossed the can into a recycle bin. "So, y'all coming to Reina's party?"
"Mah." Luigi shook his head no. "I'm staying home tonight. Big bro is having his own party."
"Cool. I ain't going either. Edwin is out of town with his family, Oswald's crashing in early for a huge ass exam tomorrow, and Alicia is chilling with Suzume, Viola, and Caph at her house. I probably go home and play video games."
"Or you can join us!" Mario appeared along with Ash and Tai. "I'm having an open party! Cloud and his gang will also be there."
"I'm in now," William grinned. "I need to talk to Cloud anyway."
"Heck yeah!" Luigi jumped excitedly. "I was about to ask you to invite William, bro!" Luigi looked at Mario.
"No need! The more guests, the more fun!" Mario smiled kindly. "First, we need to head to the convenience store. Waluigi and Wario drank all of the sodas." Mario chuckled.
"Let me buy the sodas," William offered, grinning. "That's the least I can do, man!"
"Welcome abroad!" Daisy put her arm around William's shoulder, smiling at him. "New blood!"
"Hey, now! That's the vampire way to settle things," Ash giggled.
"Tell me about it!" Tai laughed. "Matt and the others at Reina's party."
"Ugh. Don't even mention that asshole. Reina caused the break-up between Suzume and Walter. Daisy scowled in disgust.
"Forget about that poser." Ash scoffed. "Mario's party is better!"
"What the hell are we waiting for me?! Let's go already!" Luigi cheered.
Everyone nodded to each other and headed toward the convenience store to buy more sodas, alcohol, juices, and snacks. Before finally returning to Mario's two-story house, Daisy ordered a massive meal takeout for the party.
What an incredible night to be alive as the full moonlight shined upon the party attendees.

My silly headcanons for my Pokémon Masters EXperience
Tumblr media
Headcanon #1: Lillie is the ruler of Pasio in this singularity and nobody can stop her due to winning the PML along with Sniperchu (not even Ash and Red somehow). Their days include giving all the Pikachu hugs and chats. (also there's 5-6 Lillies running around Pasio) Headcanon #1.5: due to this, Pasio is in a state of chaos. Nobody can figure out what to do, and everyone is running around like rats in a lab (pun intended). Coordinating a team up in game equates to Lillie telling everyone who to work with like a boss assigning groups, and it somehow works out as long as the team is still there (don't ask). All of main story happens because multiple versions of every trainer (yes, even the ones that don't officially have alternate Sync Pairs) play the story out because cloning incidents that all the scientists are working on.
Headcanon #1.7: Oh yea everyone's personality is an exaggerated/flanderized version of their canon selves with a few exceptions (tho I'm not sure who)
Tumblr media
Headcanon #1.9: New Sync Pairs join the roster via Sniperchu prank calling
Tumblr media
Headcanon #2: Lear lost his position as Prince of Pasio due to Lillie overthrowing him. He is salty about it but at least he can still host events and stuff because Lillie has no idea how to make an event in Pasio.
Tumblr media
Headcanon #3: Lusamine got thrown in the mix due to Sniperchu wasting one of his scout point prank calls on her. She is traumatized by the sheer amount of times she has been beaten by Pikachu in the past (yes, even during childhood). She tries to be better with her kids but the sheer amount of Lillies in Pasio overwhelms her and her Sygna Suit self. (they can only handle 2 at a time)
Tumblr media
Headcanon #4: Ash and Pikachu are actually TV characters taken out of their world of Anipoke and thrown into Pasio. Their anime is watched in universe in Pasio and everyone knows him as "That guy from the Pokémon Anime." None of the characters with Anime counterparts remember Ash besides what is shown on TV. (i.e. Misty and Brock don't really recognize him as one of their best friends but instead as "the anime protagonist that features us as his companions")
Headcanon #5: Gladion makes most of the outfits in the game on his own will. Don't ask me how.
Headcanon #6: Burgh, Viola, Valerie, Mina, Piers, Roxie, and a bunch of other Artistic Sync Pairs own a few companies that compete with each other for being the most artistic.
Headcanon #7: Anyone who can set weather determines the weather of Pasio for the day. Chaos ensues and weather wildly changes every hour.
I think I'm done for writing headcanons for today so please ask any questions about my other headcanons or something among those lines cause these things have been in my head either recently or a very long time so.

Thank you for the tag @achaotichuman!!!!
Who's your favourite ACOTAR character?
Elain!! I'm always flipping between her and Gwyn, but I think Elain wins this time
Who's your least favourite character?
Rhys! No questions asked!!
Say something nice about your least favourite character.
He made a great villain. Like cmon, the mind reading powers were HORRIFYING! Good for you, book 1 Rhys
Who's your favourite High Lord? (If you picked one for your fav character, then who's your second fav!)
KALLIAS!!! He was so interesting, and he only shows up in like what, 2 chapters max? What a waste of a perfectly good man!
Favourite MINOR character?
This one's a really odd pick but I'd have to say Demetra (The Golden Queen). I know she's SUUUper minor, but the whole stuff with the Mortal Queens was super interesting. And she has a gnarly death so like, props to her, always go out with a bang. If Demetra's too minor, then Vassa & Jurian (they're a package deal)
Favourite ship? (Crackships included!)
Oh well I, as the president of Feyneth nation, can't not say Feyneth! I'm like 90% sure I was one of the first people to ever ship that
Favourite court and why?
All the other courts are so cool, but spring will always win. I like nature (i'm allergic to trees and pollen...)
Make up a brand new court RIGHT NOW, NO PREP JUST VIBES.
The almighty court of dirt. Just lots of dirt. Everywhere. Termite mound court.
What relationship would you have wanted to see more of in the books?
Tamlin, Lucien, and Feyre's awesome trio. I don't know what's with SJM and making the funnest trios in the first book and then getting rid of them! Bring me back my Tamlin Lucien Feyre friendship pleaaseee, they were fun i loved themmm
What's your unpopular opinion?
i don't think any of my opinions are popular... But I think the most unpopular one is that I don't think Tamlin was abusive. It's been a year since I read ACOMAF though so like, idk maybe i'm wrong. I just never like, interpreted it that way ig? Everything Tamlin did (which iirc wasn't all that much), Rhys has done. Tamlin locked Feyre in the manor? Yeah well Rhys locked her in a bubble where she couldn't even kiss her loved ones so like, idk. If it's excusable for Rhys then excuse it for Timmy Tam? Maybe I should've just read ACOTAR as a stand alone who knows
What's your favourite headcanon/fan canon?
Can I mention pretty boy tamlin here??? It's canon....in my head!
ok but all jokes aside It's the thing about Tamlin and Rhys being exes. Not because I ship it but because everytime I see posts about it i go "oh yeah, canon" without giving it a second thought
If you were swept away to Prythian, what's ONE thing you would want to do?
The festival thing in ACOTAR where Feyre meets Rhys. I like parties and dancing and music! Let me play my viola alongside Tamlin PLEAASE!! It'd actually be a dream.
If you could have ONE faerie ability seen in the books, which would it be?
see shapeshifting is like 100% the better choice..BUT HEALING!! i'm so clumsy I need it so bad , ive got a scraped knee at this very second!! Imagine all the good i could do for myself. I could tumble down the stairs with no consequences!!!! plus i've got a knee condition so it'd be nice to like. fix that. instead of wearing my brace. because it's itchy.
UM IDK WHO TO TAG so uuuuhh if anyone wants to do it!! do it!! i'm tagging every single person
ACOTAR tag game 💕
thanks for tagging me @mathiwrites ! I don't normally do these even when tagged because i never know who to tag, a lot of times everyone i think of is already tagged LOL, but i figured id start today!
I don't think I've seen one around, and figured this might be fun to do!
Answer the questions below & tag whoever you want, or make it an open tag!!
Who's your favourite ACOTAR character?
My boy tamlin!!
Who's your least favourite character?
Hm....hmmmm...oh Amren for sure.
Say something nice about your least favourite character.
She has a cool character concept and i thought it was really sweet and endearing when she gave feyre the bracelet (necklace?) to help her get through the Prison trip without panicking
Who's your favourite High Lord? (If you picked one for your fav character, then who's your second fav!)
Oooh hm not to be a copycat but I loved tarquin from the moment he was introduced, he was an instant fav and i was kind of sad that he didn't have more involvement later on that didn't have to do with the whole feyre and rhys betraying his trust thing
Favourite MINOR character?
ooh i dont know if this is minor enough but i've come to really like jurian. i didn't really have much of an opinion on him for most of the series and then for some reason in silver flames when he was in it for like 2 seconds i was like wait a minute why haven't i been more into this guy he kinda fucks
Favourite ship? (Crackships included!)
tamsand by far. though azris is becoming a close second.
Favourite court and why?
well i loved the spring court aesthetic from the first book, but at this point in the series I think I'd say maybe actually dawn. it just sounded so pretty, and i think it would be one of the subtler, less overwhelming courts while still being awe-inspiring.
Make up a brand new court RIGHT NOW, NO PREP JUST VIBES.
oh shoot um okay court of clouds?? people who specialize in wind manipulation, likely populated by a race related to the Peregryns or Drakon's race? an actual cloud court like in the sky could be a vibe I think. perhaps it would be more removed from the politics of prythian--they'd still have a High Lord, but maybe it would be more of a military government or something.
What relationship would you have wanted to see more of in the books?
oh wow i mean i am always here for more rhys and tamlin content obviously, but i would have also loved to see more of like stories and stuff about the sentries from the spring court that went over the wall, like Andras. andras and lucien's relationship in particular would be one I would have liked to know more about. I also really want to see Azriel and his mom.
What's your unpopular opinion?
god what ISN'T my unpopular opinion. hm. i think feyre's whole reasoning for wanting a baby out of seemingly nowhere is dumb. like i get it, yolo, life can be cut short, but like i really do not feel like she picked a good time to have a baby, nor do i think she is remotely ready to be a mother. when she realized she wanted kids in acofas, it wasn't a strong enough argument for me to actually like get behind her decision.
What's your favourite headcanon/fan canon?
omg i have so many I literally started a list lol. the first one on it is kind of silly, it's that Helion is actually the faerie romance author sellyn drake that nesta, emerie, and gwyn like
If you were swept away to Prythian, what's ONE thing you would want to do?
go to a festival! not necessarily something as crazy as calanmai, but i would love to go to some sort of celebration. maybe starfall?
If you could have ONE faerie ability seen in the books, which would it be?
shapeshifting without a doubt
thanks again for the tag! ill tag @cheap-spirits @achaotichuman @thedickgraysons @wingsdippedingold @hugevanserrass @lady-of-sevenwaters @the-darkestminds @msbrownwithacrown @tamlinsnailtech and anyone else who wants to contribute!! if were mutuals and i didnt tag u im sorry i tried to think of as many as possible LOL but yeah definitely feel free to contribute if you want to! this was fun

exes au part 12
post directory
obsetress: don’t ask why i had this thought because i couldn’t tell you but
obsetress: jamie wakes up in the middle of the night one night and is like “i... had a dream. about vi”
obsetress: and dani’s like “ok baby” and just nuzzles deeper into her pillow and jamie’s like
obsetress: “no, dani, a... a dream”
obsetress: and dani’s like “oh. oh” and is immediately wide awake and bright eyed
obsetress: and is like “was it any good?” and jamie is just. already flushed so red and flushed deeper and dani just hums
em: sighs wistfully
em: i also love that something compels jamie to tell dani Immediately
em: oh the perils of begrudgingly being friends w ur gfs ex
em: jamies like um. no see i can see all these different things my brain mashed together and WHY i had this dream and danis like ok but that wasn’t my question....
obsetress: jamie finally throws up her hands “of course it was”
em: jamie: And You Can’t Tell Vi She’ll Be Insufferable
obsetress: dani, very plainly, at brunch the next morning: so vi
obsetress: jamie looks like she’s going to have a heart attack and dani lets her sweat and then just smiles sweetly “i like those sunglasses. are they new?”
em: jamie what’s the problem (nothin. indigestion)
obsetress: dani very smug n thinks she’s very funny
obsetress: (she is a little funny)

obsetress: “fookin sick, the both of ya”
em: idk why you had this thought but i’m GREATLY amused
obsetress: skskksksks right
obsetress: jamie explaining her dream to dani in great detail afterwards
obsetress: dani sitting there nodding and hmming “oh that sounds like her. no, she wouldn’t do that. now THAT she would be very good at, you’d like it”
em: i need a moment
em: jamie thinks the dark hides her massive fucken blush but it Doesn’t
em: dani can feel her heating up
obsetress: jamie “i don’t ask you to do this” dani “you’re not stopping me”
em: dani critiquing jamies sex dream is such a fucken funny concept sjdhdkhdkdhdkc
obsetress: RIGHT
obsetress: i’m dying
em: dani: oh no that’s OOC
obsetress: she wouldn’t have a riding crop jamie, it’s 2021, not 16—
em: jamie: it’s a wet dream do u really think it’s gonna have beta readers and a three act structure
em: dani hums
obsetress: dani: well did you enjoy it
obsetress: jamie: i— dani: did you?
obsetress: jamie mumbling yeah
em: jamies like i’m gonna interrogate dani next time, see how she feels- but she forgets dani is incapable of feeling shame
obsetress: like dani wouldn’t just launch into a ramble
---
em: viola
Tumblr media
obsetress: fuck
obsetress: yeah
obsetress: to jamie, specifically,
em: to jamie specifically andhdjhdjd
em: once again ironic jamvi has turned, in my brain, into ‘yes and....’ jamvi
—-
obsetress:
Tumblr media
obsetress: jamie sending this to viola n vi's like
obsetress: she doesn't get it because she's convinced her taste is immaculate
---
em: anyway this is ooc even for exes au but i keep thinking abt like. jamie tryna crack how old viola is (she cant be 34 im 30 it doesnt make sense) and going through her fb timeline like. 'aha! motivational quotes. gotta be late 30s' and danis either like
em: danis either like 'you have a notebook where you write down all the quotes you like baby' OR shes like haha ok thats fair (posts another motivational quote on her fb)
obsetress: god i love that so much
obsetress: both of those dani responses are
obsetress: honestly porque no los dos if we're already going ooc
obsetress: i do think the first bit "gotta crack it she can't be 34 i'm 30 it doesn't make sense" is in character fwiw
em: obviously i was inspired by ur post in the milf channel abt viola always saying shes 35
em: big brain
—-
obsetress: this is literally just. exes au rebecca
Tumblr media
obsetress: down to the caption
obsetress: vi and rebecca patiently staging like full photoshoots for each other every time one of them wants a pic otp: i'm not high maintenance, you're just low effort
---
em: bold 2 say that we don’t think about jamie and vi tho
em: gotta keep some sorta. presentation of respectability
em: they absolutely couldn’t date tho
obsetress: lmao ikr
obsetress: yeah no they'd kill each other
obsetress: now just thinking of silly circumstances and um
obsetress: rebecca's out of town and dani's flying back from some iowa thing jamie couldn't get away for to go with
obsetress: and viola's like "oh, just stay at ours, it's closer and i'll get you a car"
obsetress: and just like
obsetress: imagining the two of them cohabitating at vi's for a night
em: jamie sneaking around at night tryna find the bathroom and runs straight into vi in a face mask and a dangerously low dressing gown Again
obsetress: the parallels to canon
obsetress: im giggling
obsetress: walks straight into her path
em: opens a door. sees something she doesn’t want to see. immediately turns and walks away
em: god the face mask would make her look like the lady in the lake
obsetress: yeah
obsetress: vi wants to go out to dinner, jamie's just like "i'm already getting up early to go to the airport, can't we just have an easy night in"
em: what did i say before. that thing abt if ur friends w damie you will inevitably walk in on them
obsetress: god yeah
em: flip of that.
obsetress: oh GOD
em: god they would argue about dinner
em: bicker about EVERYTHING
em: dani and rebecca both make the married couple joke
em: jamie goes pale
obsetress: wait sorry i just went back to tahirahs insta post and like
obsetress: katie parker commented and was like "i love these shots of you" and she was like "thanks luv " and i'm like
obsetress: why does this....... still track........... with exes au...............
em: perdy is always a little too flirty w vis paramours
obsetress: always! except dani for whatever reason
obsetress: she's just scared of dani
em: Please
obsetress: rebecca's like "i don't see what the problem is. she can do what she wants, but you trust me, don't you?" "of course i trust you" rebecca shrugs "that's it then, isn't it?"
obsetress: anyway vi huffs n crosses her arms n pouts a little bit and is like "well i don't want her to"
obsetress: rebecca is endeared and uses the opportunity to her advantage like the top leaning switch she is
em: dani rebecca parallels: always dtf
obsetress: perdi and vi fighting and vi's like "are you even gay? or do you just want what i have?" and perdi is like "does it matter?"
em: are you even gay perdi nahdkdhdkdhd
em: perdi is like you KNOW about jamie and viola crinkles her nose bc she forgot about that and she’s starting to respect jamie as a person
obsetress: djflakdkfjldkadjLDJFLSKDFJLSDKFJx
obsetress: i screeched
em: viola: you only MET jamie because i hired her for landscaping you fucking-
obsetress: just thinking about perdita watching jamie working on some property sweating in a tank top and Deciding
em: bringing out some lemonade etc
em: haha you look parched
obsetress: smiling widely, turning on the charm
obsetress: jamie is very attractive and very swoonworthy, but perdita 100% only goes for it because she refuses to let viola have one (1) thing
obsetress: and that extends to lesbianism
em: viola's like no this is normal right. siblings competing. rivalries etc and danis like uh i’m an only child and jamies like uh i raised my brother
em: they don’t know how to tell her sure it happens but it’s also extremely fucken weird vi
obsetress: jamie: you have to tell her dani: why do i have to tell her jamie: you tell her everything dani: i don't tell her–– ok, i tell her most things. i'm not sure i want to tell her this though jamie: why not dani: she's not... she's not gonna like it jamie: So You Might Be A People Pleaser,
em: jamie: i can’t tell her. she’s only just forgotten the perdi thing. what if she remembers i’ve
em: in depth character study of viola and perdi’s fucked up rivalry
em: violas like goddamn it do i have to fuck jamie to get even
obsetress: i––
em: she decides against it
em: jamie is none the wiser
obsetress: she Considers it tho
em: jamie would die on the spot if she knew
obsetress: weighs the pros and cons
obsetress: the best part is like
obsetress: this is all post-danvi and pre-damie right so when dani n jamie see rebecca and vi at that video store
obsetress: viola's like wait.
obsetress: wait
obsetress: dani ending up with the hot gardener her sister fucked because she has bizarre jealousy and possession issues is really just the cherry on top of a shit sundae
em: the funniest part of all our very tangled lore is like
em: none of it contradicts bc it’s even funnier when it’s Extremely Ugly And Messy
em: because lesbians are just... like that
---
obsetress: exes au au where viola did fuck jamie, the video rental shop scene is 100 times more awkward
em: don’t think about it don’t think about it dont
em: i am thinking about it
em: jamie has to deal with having been railed by all three of them instead of just the two
em: it feels very uneven to her bc rebeccas a doll, dani, u don’t understand, and ur only running into one ex,
obsetress: talk about the mortifying ordeal of being known
obsetress: "wait, that's your ex?" "yeah" "dani" "what" "dani" "what" jamie's voice is hushed but a lil pitchy and a lot panicky "i think i fucked your ex" "you think?" "i fucked your ex" "you fucked her or she fucked you? because i'm sorry, baby, but i really don't think––"
em: sorry, baby, but i really don’t think-
em: SCREAMED
obsetress: that might be my fave lil bit i've ever written adlfkjasdklf
em: dani being a little too interested in jamie getting railed is like. everything to me
obsetress: jamie's already big blushing
em: a little secret between hannah obsetress and em cowlesbian but i am So thinking abt it
em: patreon exclusive exes au au
[em edit: you can imagine how long this lasted]
obsetress: no one is happy about this situation except dani, who is delighted
em: after, jamie's like. what did u mean by u don’t think that...
em: puffs out her chest
em: i could have-
em: danis like yeah but i know u didn’t did u
obsetress: dani clayton ilu
em: danis like um
em: completely unprompted bc dani ‘finishes a conversation 5 hours later’ is really funny to me
em: danis like i did tho
em: jamies like can you DROP IT
em: she’s SMUG
em: she’s so pleased w herself
obsetress: in bed with the lights off jamie's pulling the sheets up and closing her eyes afterthought
obsetress: just a happy lil hum and an "i did, though"
obsetress: and jamie knows IMMEDIATELY what she's talking about
em: dani never lets jamie live it down
obsetress: never!
obsetress: they'll be washing dishes one day "hey baby?" "hmm" "you slept with a landlord"
em: oh um. flipping the whole ‘experienced jamie virginal dani’ trope everyone loves but
em: i love the idea of dani being like hey jamie did u ever- and jamies like (grumbles) does it matter
em: dani is mentally applying a gold star to her chart
obsetress: ksdljfskdfjlsdjflksdjaf
obsetress: the gold star
em: at this point dani is absolute just tryna tease jamie so she’s like oh well when- and jamies like ok i get it
em: jamie Pretends not to be a little interested
obsetress: meanwhile vi and rebecca very matter of factly swapped stories the first day they Realized
obsetress: vibecca swapping stories and their stories complimenting each other so well that they're like well. hmm
obsetress: glad those two found each other
em: two praise kinks u say
em: ok sorry one more thought i’m thinking abt like
em: jamie staying over (idk if this is before or during damie) and viola and perdi are having yet another spat on the phone and violas like
em: no you ALWAYS do this, whatever you think you’re doing with rebecca-‘ and she barely hears some muffled sorta ‘oh, sorry, remember jamie-
em: and jamies doing the maths. hmm
em: jamies like actually i refuse to examine this further. self care
em: brings it up with dani later and dani LOSES her shit laughing
em: haha jamie you got willoughby’ed
obsetress: SCREAMS
obsetress: you got willoughby'd
obsetress: how does one get willoughbyd asking for a friend
em: yeah same asking for a friend
obsetress: dani, gigglesnorting: wait, you hooked up with... with perdi?
obsetress: (dani hates perdita because viola hates perdita and it is a deep seated hatred she refuses to unlearn)
obsetress: a loyalty strange and enduring, despite it all
em: to be fair perdi is the Worst
em: all of these characters i love to make sympathetic and then perdi is where i draw the line akdhdkhd
em: it’s funnier if she’s awful
em: like a viola that never gets therapy
obsetress: lldjfkaskldfj god same
obsetress: it's too good
em: danis like wait hold on. lemme get a pen
em: makes a silly little chart
em: if the fandom tries to make jamie into a shane the l word character i will simply take that and make jamie mortified abt her uh. well! a pretty girl is nice to her and she forgets how to behave
em: jamie's like oh sure like u don’t have embarrassing flings- and danis like yeah but i don’t interact w them on a daily basis jamie
em: also i didn’t fuck perdi
obsetress: skskskflsdflks
obsetress: "you did fuck perdi though, right? because that just be embarrassing, jamie, if she had been the one who..."
em: skgsdjhdkdhdk
em: jamie grumbles something abt pillow princesses and dani like
em: CLAPS her hands in glee
obsetress: jlsdjflkJSDFKJSDFJ
obsetress: GOD
obsetress: she's immediately pulling out her phone to text vi
em: jamies like why would u message her sister that u freak n danis like oh no theyre very open with each other it’s uh. hmm. anyway

002. Eileen. Now
My ask box is all crows now, huh? x)
(Asks from this ( x ) meme)
002 I Give me a character & I will tell you
• How I feel about this character
I like her, but for some reason I do not think all that often about her? She is just one of those characters who is so crucial for the story itself and for the lore that I kinda... stop noticing them and take them for granted? It is hard to explain. I feel like she could certainly use way more exploration with her backstory and depths of her personality and relationships - that includes me too! Basically I think I am not being fair on her myself because she is just as important as Maria, Adeline, Valtr, Fauxsefka, Gascoigne... you know, THE core cast.
Tumblr media
All the people I ship romantically with this character:
Hmmm... I don't find Eileen very shippable, since her occupation suggests a great dose of emotional isolation. For all she knows, anyone she loves could go blood-drunk and she'd have to hunt them! I entertained the idea of the post-game scenario where she and Henriett raise the daughters of Gascoigne and Viola together now, but even in that case it'd probably work better as grandma + aunt taking care of them as a ship. I do think she used to see some women back in her youth, when she was just a student/doctor, even before the plague took her own place. Crack ship idea though - Eileen x Arianna! Thumbs up, thumbs down?
My non-romantic OTP for this character:
Not going to call ANY NAMES *cough coooooough*, but I think the mother-son reminiscent bond between her and the Crow of Cainhurst is the top tier of the headcanons! I remember ancient times when I thought that Eileen and Crow were not even that familiar, and instead he simply mimicked appearance of Hunter of Hunters to not get questioned when he kills a hunter (important for his goals), but I've changed my mind since then! Doomed mother-son bond for life!!
My unpopular opinion about this character:
Not really an opinion, but rather a pet-peeve. We know from the lore that there WERE other Hunters of Hunters before Eileen, and only one was appointed at the given time. Presumably, Crow of Cainhurst is an apprentice and that's it!
Tumblr media
But at times I see takes that have Eileen as the one and ONLY Hunter of Hunters that ever was, who appeared long ago and was the one since Old Hunters prime...? Example off the top of my head - that one manga centering around Maria (that I never properly read...). You know, with gingerhead white-garb Adeline (just like miiiiiine!!), super sigma male asshole Laurence, Willem recognizing as the pope of the Healing Church before he yeeted... all that. Of course I am not saying to go and write several OCs, but... Eileen was not the only one, clearly... come onnnnn.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:
I want to see where Eileen's shack is at, so we know in what house to visualize her in the after-game events in which she totally doesn't die but simply retires because of health issues... She DEFINITELY just retires and simply stops fighting, right...? That's canon, you know? Of course you know that haha.,..
my OTP:
Again, I personally do not really have one that is romantic... I remember I used to be a big Eileen x Valtr stan, but that one indeed became platonic since then, especially since I shifted towards headcanoning her as a lesbian. However, as far as fan-stuff goes in general, I do support Eileen x Djura shippers! Very cool and based ship, definitely deserves its popularity! ...if 'popular content' and 'Eileen' are even compatible things fdanhfhds HELPPPP
my cross over ship:
Hmmm... None yet, however, I think in the crossover verse she'd be more likely to find love than in BB canon! I have a feeling that I'll find a great match for her somewhere in ER or DS, actually! .....yes, it has been far too long since I've touched any other universe besides Soulsborne...
a headcanon fact:
Like I mentioned in some other post, I think she was a student, learning to be a doctor! ...and then just a doctor. She wanted to stay in the university as a teacher, but could not stand aside when her place was plagued, and became a doctor! I do think her beak mask is the only thing remaining from the clothes in which she originally appeared in Yharnam!

Thank you for the ask!!!!

hi taylor! is it alright if i ask your opinion regarding fc choices? i'm considering opening up a skeleton rp that involves canon characters, which come from books that were turned into movies. some of the characters don't have their race/ethnicity specified at all in the books, however the actors that played them in the movies were of mixed race. i definitely want to make sure the characters are kept as people of color (1/?)
however, i am not a poc myself and am unsure if their fcs should be kept mixed race or if a non-mixed race poc can portray them? i know race/ethnicity isn't interchangeable, however since the characters don't have a specified race/ethnicity in the source material and it's the actors' race/ethnicity, i'm unsure if it needs to be kept in this exact way, if that makes sense? (2/?)
for example, one of the character's race/ethnicity was never discussed in the books, but the actor of the character is half black and half white. should this character only be portrayed by fcs that are half black and half white, or can the character be portrayed by a black fc (that is not mixed). i fully intend to keep all characters of color as poc, but since none of this was specified in the books, i'm confused when it comes to fcs that are mixed. (3/?)
i really want to make sure i'm casting fcs appropriately & not erasing any representation! thank you so much for your help, i really appreciate it! (4/4)
hiiii yes it’s more than okay to ask for my opinion, i’m always happy to help !!! in my opinion , as long as it isn’t specific in the books/movies about what ethnicity they are , which going off what you’ve told me , it isn’t specific i would say yes it’s totally okay to use people of colour that aren’t mixed for your characters . in fact i think that would be pretty neat if you did that bc hollywood has a huge problem w diversity and like to use mixed and light skinned actors to fill their diversity quota . dark skinned representation is incredibly rare , the only incredibly popular actors i can think of are ryan destiny , john boyega , lupita nyong'o , idris elba and viola davis whereas i can rattle off a whole bunch of light skinned actors . but no for sure as long as you keep them as people of colour , that’s okay !!! hope that helps , angel .

alright, responding to each of your points:
1. there, i guess you do have a point. but the dceu isn't going to be as closely connected as all the mcu films are, so we probably won't get any culminating event like infinity war/endgame. (unless the snyder cut does get released and is enough of a hit that wb lets zack finish his series of films as intended, but i don't think it's likely. SC release yes, the rest no)
2. there's no confirmation that he's out. as he said in the men's health article, the suit is still in his closet. he's yet to deliberately say he's no longer superman, he's still expressing interest in continuing to play the character. it's probably like the situation with chris pine and star trek, where cavill demanded a higher salary and couldn't come to an agreement with WB so he walked away. but with the pine thing, star trek 4 is now back on and the full cast is expected to return. cavill never actually had another superman project in the works, so it's not like his refusal to agree on a new salary got anything cancelled. but until he says "i'm not superman" or wb officially casts someone new, he's still our superman. wb/dc still has gal, jason, ezra, and margot signed for upcoming films. and of course there are other returning ss cast members too, who will be back for that sequel/reboot, like viola davis, joel kinnaman, and jai courtney. so the only person wb/dc has lost is affleck. (other cast members haven't exactly said they're out but also haven't guaranteed dceu returns, like ray fisher.)
3. she has only canonically cried about him once so far. if you're saying she'll lose him again in 1984, we don't know that. obviously there are some test screening leaks so people are basing their predictions off of that, but we don't officially know anything till we see the film. there could always be a twist that brings him to modern day, like being granted immortality or something. i don't know. just don't go by leaks, things could easily change in the next 6 months.
also i never said the dceu never had any tragedies????? my post is just about how the fandom is feeling right now, because everyone's hyped for the future slate of films. (except for those james gunn antis ignoring the existence of tss, but i'm sure they'll still be watching and commenting on the trailer, once it's out.) i never said the movie universe itself is all cupcakes and rainbows.
4. yeah, only dceu proper film out this year was shazam. but aquaman was still in theaters right at the beginning of the year, so it only had its billion dollar milestone in 2019. and yes, joker isn't technically the main dceu. but you really think dceu fans will ignore it just 'cause it isn't part of the connected universe? that logic is like mcu fans not going to see the xmen or deadpool films. and i know you all did see them and hyped them like hell. so dceu fans do technically also have joker and we're celebrating its success, both critically and financially.
the end.
major fandoms at the end of 2019 be like...
