FULL DISCLOSURE this was traced from this screenshot, i wanted to block out his design accurately. aheem heem. dont take this that serious, im not a professional or anything. my personal issues with asmodeus' design, small head aside.

things i left out but more going on in his mane would help balance out the design, if the amount of shit going was more proportional it would be less egregious. especially because his actual face is pretty simple - compared to others (even stolas who has a comparatively simple design has markings + extra eyes + line signifying the curve of his beak in the middle. ozzie functionally has 3 lines and that's it) his facial design is very simple and it does not help his case. his shoulders are so broad and busy and his head is so tiny and. not, comparatively.

his face contrasts pretty heavily with the mane behind it as well which only really emphasises the amount of unused space in the mane vs the extreme clutter of his torso.

ngl one of the wild things to me about US politics is like

the election cycle is fucking neverending, yeah? everyone drops everything and starts poll-watching at least a year in advance of the actual election. people get themselves all (understandably) worked up and scared about the incoming president, for months. then they vote, and in november, they all have a horrible panic and crisis and are afraid and cling to everyone for support and yeah, ok, I get it, that's an understandable response to a terrifying outcome.

HOWEVER. parking garages look FANTASTIC, the vibes, the shear scale of it all. hundreds of cars, spirals going up and down for there is little other way to do it. the slight inadequacy of the lights. the columns of concrete going through the building, the pipes exposed, raw to the air for there is no use in hiding them. the insulation being exposed often because it needs not hiding. for already it is to high to touch for most.

and you don't care while in the building. you get in and out.

so while actually great brutalist structures exist, that I love aswell.

do not ignore the brilliancy of that which is common place.
