it appears that 90% of most of our troubles stem from the fact that we cannot be alone.
how many times have we texted that toxic ex and regreted as soon as they reply just because the state of solitude was unbearable
what of the compromise to our types just because we got the attention of another who meets not our basic requirements just because it feels good to be wanted, oh how we're in cloud nine when we get someone to be all about us
let's not even start with the places we say yes to going yet we are fully aware of how the ambience and crowd keeps dragging our baby steps behind
I'll not pretend I'm a master to my own company.
many are the times I've sent that text and as soon as they ask the first question, I can already foresee the impending doom
when I'm in the talking stage and the subtle signs telling me to run are louder than my mother's shouts, but I tone them down because I want to see where it goes, let things flow they say
I've let things flowed to lakes of I knew so and oceans of regret, not for the experience but of the time wasted doing things that ensured my constant state
It's not everyone's thing, but oh is it nice to make me proud
to not give in to the temporary highs and create the stable grounds for whatever life I plan with my daily acts
it's never that deep until you're in too deep and there's no way out

I have to say, dragons rising is doing nothing for me. I watched the first part, not the second, so no idea what is going on. And I am sure when people say, it's good. But again, it does nothing for me.
Also the way they characterise Lloyd lately rubbs me the wrong way. I get they do a different approach, put him in more funny scenes etc. But looking back at earlier seasons and season 8/9...perhaps I just got too used to a more serious Lloyd. Not one trying to copy his uncle for some reason (and that is just one thing).

I used to read fics where Naruto was physically attacked-like-tortured and nothing was done about it, and I got thinking… Naruto realistically wouldn’t have gone through something like that, nothing physically harmful would have been allowed to happen to him, but not all abuse is physical y’know?
Do you think he fell in love with Ichiraku’s ramen immediately and was so loyal to it because it was the first time he’d ever gotten a 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦 meal?

🎯 Ed Sheeran beats copyright appeal over 'Thinking Out Loud' song
On November 1, Reuters reported that Ed Sheeran, along with his record label Warner Music and music publisher Sony Music Publishing, successfully convinced a U.S. appeals court to uphold a previous ruling that his 2014 hit, Thinking Out Loud, did not infringe on Marvin Gaye’s 1973 classic Let's Get It On. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan sided with a lower court's decision to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Structured Asset Sales, which owns the rights previously held by the song's co-writer, Ed Townsend.
David Pullman, the owner of Structured Asset Sales and an investment banker, stated that the company was considering its options following the court's decision. Donald Zakarin, the lawyer representing Sheeran and the record labels, expressed that they were "gratified" by the 2nd Circuit’s ruling. Earlier, in May 2023, Sheeran also won a different copyright case brought by the heirs of Ed Townsend, who hold a separate portion of rights in Let's Get It On, after a closely followed jury trial.
Structured Asset Sales (SAS) filed a lawsuit against Sheeran in 2018. However, U.S. District Judge Louis Stanton dismissed the case after the jury's decision in the lawsuit filed by Townsend’s heirs. Judge Stanton concluded that the musical elements in question were too commonplace to qualify for copyright protection. The appeals court upheld this view, noting that granting copyright on these elements could hinder creative expression and affirming that Sheeran’s song did not bear enough similarity to Marvin Gaye's work to infringe on SAS's copyright.
The appeals court also dismissed the argument that Judge Stanton should have considered Gaye's original recording, which, according to Pullman, contained essential elements allegedly copied by Sheeran, instead of limiting the review to the sheet music registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Structured Asset Sales has filed an additional lawsuit against Sheeran based on its rights to Gaye’s recording, though that case is currently paused.

I hate you.
Me? Yes. You.
I hate you so much.
But I’m trying to love you.
It’s hard bc there’s not a lot to love.
Or maybe too much to love.
You’re ugly. Tom left so easily bc you just weren’t worth anything more than sex.
You’re a worthless mother.
No, I’m doing my best.
It’s not enough.
But I’m trying.

Correct me if I'm wrong but most blind believers of man made spirituality by the name religion are those with a hard time accepting their mortality and life's vanity.
Death ain't an easy concept to grasp, leave alone to accept its inevitability.
even harder is the fact that no one knows their time of departure, but for the recorders of such times.
why things happen, when they happen, if they happen is something many try to make believe and have a reasoning but sometimes things just happen. as simple as that.
we want to believe we go through hard times to make meaning the good, and the reverse.
but in the end what does it really count to? what's the metric of the scores and who determines the fates of the different parties when death is the grand jury to wipe it all away?
even better, who can tell us of the aftermath but for those who precede?
too bad... dead men tell no tales.

My heart beats as loudly as the beast in Neverland.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Then I hear my youngest pose and talk in his sleep.
Now my heart feels as steady as Van Helsing.
