chat i'm having random thoughts about eos post-game and eevee protagonist. it's no secret that eevee is a popular pick for this game and imo no matter what you choose to evolve them into there's a very poetic explanation for each (though i'm not sure how well i can articulate my thoughts lol). like,

- Flareon: coming from a world of darkness and sharp hostility, the hero chooses to become a soft and fluffy fire type. the hero is so smitten by the sun in the past (and so horrified by the lack of it in the future) that they become a fire type to bring that warmth and light wherever they go! (plus flareon's my favorite :])

- Jolteon: similar to flareon, wanting to bring light to the people of the past. there's also something to be said about the fact electric type are immune to paralysis, as well as the idea that hero was gone for months after defeating dialga, then once they come back they're alive! they want to run, and jump, and celebrate that they're here!

- Vaporeon: the fact that Grovyle and hero were seperated in a storm, that they met partner for the first time on a beach, that the hidden land is across the ocean, (smth smth manaphy, ive never played that far), that water doesnt flow in the future, eeeeverything about chapter 5, and that the partner found comfort in the krabby's bubbles. water in eos is important when it comes to partings and reunions.

- Umbreon: they're a dark type. do i need to explain.

okayifyouinsist, hero comes from a world of darkness!! even if they don't remember it, that darkness affected them on such a deep level that their body never forgot! as well, umbreons and dusknoirs have lots of golden rings on their bodies, and umbreons have a type advantage against dusknoirs your partner still loves you in your new form, but everytime they look at you they can't help but remember Him, and shudder. it's about being forced to reckon with the fact you placed your trust in Dusknoir, and he took advantage of it and betrayed you.

- Espeon: right this wasnt just about umbreon. espeon and umbreon were made to be parallels; where umbreon has high defenses, espeon has a high special attack (+ dark type is immune to psychic). where umbreon has a type advantage on Dusknoir, espeon has a weakness. an umbreon hero will never trust Him again; and espeon hero chooses to believe in second chances.

- Leafeon: GROVYLEEE, it's about choosing to change your very dna so that you never forget your friend! in the short time you know him, you fully understand why your past self stood by his side! there's sorrow in that without your memories you'll never fully understand your relationship with him, but your soul remembers, and you still love your friend. deep down, a leafeon hero is ashamed they ever considered Grovyle a criminal, and wishes they could have had more time with him, in less dire circumstances. last note, the fact that the world of the future was so barren and lifeless without the sun, and the fact you become a leafeon to reflect how the future is alive. :)

- Glaceon: the fact that the hero comes from a world that was frozen, and still becomes an ice type, the future was cold, but a hero glaceon still found beauty in it. it's about remaining hopeful and that with or without fixing the future, you still need to survive in this world. it's about understanding your situation and making peace with it, while still striving to make it better.

- Sylveon: i remember that when fairy type came out, people were trying to justify why it was strong against dragon, and my favorite explanation for it was that in "fairy" tales, the hero slays the dragon. the sylveon hero did it! they slew the dragon, and their story has finally come to an end! as well, it's about wanting to give off a cheery look. it's about saying "don't look at the violence and darkness, look at me, smile! i'm here to help you!" (we'll have Explorers DX someday, trust 🙏. )

We can start with a moment I've never seen until 2day....

But we already knew this yes? It's not the first time JK has said Jimin treats him the most. Even during one of the unfortunate moments when JK rated Jimin last, the latter was sure to remind him that he's the one who spends on him the most. So Jimin has always been generous with his baby since the very beginning. Which is why our next moment should come as no surprise.

-Jimin travelling across the world in 2019 for JK's birthday and then doing so again in 2023 for JK's solo debute. Anything for the love of his life it seems. #allthefeels 🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍

It is not an underrated moment by any means whatsoever. In fact you will see this clip every few weeks on twitter on your timeline. Jikookers love this moment. But, we mostly talk about Jimin feeding JK which it's fine. Really. Its sweet and really nice to see. But all members feed eo it ain't a big deal. So what I like to talk about is what happens before Jimin feeds JK.

JK wants pizza. He stands, looks around, they've ran out so he sits back down. He glances at Jimin's one, but its whatever, pizza is finished. But here's the part I like; Jimin without even looking at JK, just knows what he wants and thats when he feeds him a bite from his own. So either a) He was watching JK on his periphery, or b) He is just that in tune with his boyfriend. I'm going with the latter coz it ain't the first time he's come through for JK even without him asking. That's what sets the moment apart from all the other times members have fed eo.

Next moment that proves how much Jimin loves JK applies to both since it also involves a whipped JK. Analysis time guys. 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

If you've ever noticed Jimin praises JK ALOT. I would say he praises JK the most. He is always telling us how good JK is, how talented, how he's good he is at everything. Even though we already know. Jimin never hesitates to praise JK and I for one love to see it. Most recent being the flying yoga episode when first thing he said was how good JK was gonna be at it

Even though we all know he was the king of said flying yoga. Jimin seems to be extremely proud of JK's talents and prowess. Here we saw him drooling over JK bungee jumping so yeah... he definitely likes that JK is so good. Jimin has always been super proud to have JK as his boyfriend. Its a shame antis don't care to see it.

Another thing that shows how much Jimin loves JK, is always being there for him when he needs comfort

What i love about this moment is that Jimin thought JK was puking when he ran over. And yet the first thing he does is grab JK's face to check on him. Vomit be dammed 🥺🥺🥺

Jimin is always there for the members when they need comfort. Yes. But I love love love how soft he's always been with JK. Remember during summer package when JK wrote a letter for Army and then got emotional? I love how Jimin wrote a poem for him after

And we haven't even talked about how Jimin has always rubbed the back of JK's neck since time immemorial.

That last one brings us to our last point since I've ran out of image space; Protective Jimin that one time Suga did the thing. They were reacting to that last concert and JK who as we all know cries the most was being comforted by Jimin. Once again.

Jin is the one who pointed out that JK was crying.

Yeah... Jimin wasn't having it. He was like; bro you'd better shut tf up.

Pointed a finger at Suga, his hyung and everything. Suga picks on Jimin all the time. It's the most popular Yoonmin dynamic. And usually Jimin doesn't care. But he drew the line at Suga picking on his bae. 🤭🤭🤭 I love this moment sm!!! He seriously wasn't having it and that was so hot of him 🥵🥵

These moments are endless really, but i will stop here since there's no room for more imagery. i remember sky saying in one of their live that after kkhc megat opens a bar lmao, so what if along the way he's meeting with kahar again who still does multiple works aside from selling burgers, does other jobs too like idk street painter, busker etc? and they somehow fall into their old dynamic bcs old habit dies hard ok...and then boom they're in d/s relationship (they convince themselves that no actual feelings attached lol)... something something kahar wears collar 🫠

this is totally inspired by am*r irl but kahar being a beach guy… going for surfing in his free time….. because i think sky also mentioned that megat opened the bar in langkawi? or did i make the langkawi part up. anyway. they probably met at a beach somewhere that’s more fit for surfing, and kahar finally sees megat again, all tall and tan as kahar remembered him to be and he didn’t think he’d get nostalgic, or that he would miss him but it hit him that he really does, so much that he’s kinda… awkward when megat approaches him, that smirk-grin still the same on his face. the exact same one that used to make him Swoon

it kinda feels like how they first met ngl megat having to lead the conversation, throwing an arm around kahar’s shoulders to pull him close, like nothing really happened. maybe nothing did between them—or that its just not significant enough. they didnt have a bad fall out the way reza/megat did, its easier for them to pretend nothing happened

they fall into bed just as easily, megat always makes it so easy. he takes the lead like he always did and kahar follows wordlessly. it’s nice not thinking for himself, kahar had to be independent for too long, he forgot how liberating it is to just… let go

megat finds it easy to be with kahar too. he didn’t play any mental chess, speaking to him was easy because he was honest. kahar still has that innocence to him with the way that he puts his complete trust on megat like nothing ever happened, like there’s no reason for him to be wary

i’ve said it before in a fic but—poor kahar has been abandoned for so long, no one really knew how to deal with him. there was fakhri but—fakhri is fakhri. he doesn’t really take care of kahar the way he needed it. he didn’t do it for the good of kahar, he does it for the both of them to fool around. fakhri fights him for the obedience but megat can just command it out of him with no problem. he makes kahar Want to be good

even for little things—like kahar’s hand would just touch megat’s arm slightly, hesitant but not pushing him away, but megat would already click his tongue

“sabar,” megat would say and kahar tries to relax back into the bed. “aku baru tinggal kau sekejap, kau dah lupa nak sabar, eh?”

megat reminds kahar whenever he’s misbehaving, he makes kahar feel the shame of not being able to listen. sometimes he’s encouraging (“tahan, sikit je lagi ni”) and most times he’s mean (“aku suruh kau buat benda simple je, tu pun tak boleh tahan”). kahar just wants to be Good for him

it’s only a little harder to follow because kahar got used to quick and easy. he forgot what it’s like to have someone take their time with him, to have them really, completely unravel him. like these two are just the perfect fit for eo in terms of body chemistry. what megat wants just fits everything kahar needs

the collar part is sooooo tasty… megat always liked getting him things even since back then and kahar would carry it around with him everywhere he went. whether its his first box of cigarettes or a bruise on his neck, kahar is happy to carry them around anything given by megat (even if it needs to be hidden)

it starts off sweet, a thin leather necklace that megat helps to tie around his neck. for once there is something that kahar can wear out in public, a reminder around his neck for when megat’s hands aren’t there to wrap around it. after all, marks don’t last very long

but the next time they meet it gets private again, megat gifts him an actual collar. again, it’s made of leather, megat is quite particular on these things. he wants the best for kahar, even if it’s a collar that he’d only wear in the bedroom

maybe outside, whenever they’re feeling risky. megat thinks up of a play and kahar simply follows along. megat at least pairs his collar with a outfit so it’d go along, makes it less obvious to the people in public

their d/s relationship would actually go so crazy because there’s not really anything that kahar’s not willing go do for megat. at most it’d take a little persuasion. kahar has self destructive tendencies, and handing megat the control of his entire being is just. liberating.

they’re unhealthily healthy. that’s the final conclusion ngl

so kahar has been meeting megat on and off, whenever he’s nearby. he thinks of going home, back to the real beach he grew up on, and by chance meets reza there. its why he tells reza to give megat a call, because he knows megat is waiting for it even if he’s never explicitly asked about reza. after all kahar can also observes megat as much as the other observes him lol

What uncommon/common fear do they have?

Pyerce: Fear of being manipulated or being stuck in a situation that is out of his control; fear of making a terrible mistake/failing his kids; fear of clowns.

Tarah: Fear of being kidnapped or drugged (because she saw the same happen to her best friend, Eos); fear of the uncanny valley or things that seem normal but feel off; fear of being a disappointment to herself

Josh: Fear of being trapped (claustrophobia, but also fear of being contained by others); fear of being unredeemably evil (he wasn't exactly The Perfect Cousin - in fact he was quite the... complicated and annoying angsty teen, sometimes toxic but not more than any regular teen - prior to his abduction by the PHANTOM Industries, plus he has what they call an "evil power" because he controls fears/nightmares, so the constant pressure by his captors that "he is inherently evil and needs to be fixed" kind of broke him in a way)

Gwyn: Being unable to protect the ones she loves and herself; fear of being found and recaptured by the PHANTOM Industries; fear of Zander Corelli (the mob boss - and pimp - Adrien works for, who basically haunts his and the twins' lives for most of the duration of the WIP); fear of being trapped in the heat.

Do they have any pet peeves?

Pyerce: Corrupt governments to lie to their affiliates and discard their assets once they're no longer useful to them once that person isn't "useful" to them anymore. Not being fully aware of a situation. He also can't stand people who legitmatelly make excuses to be lazy and who leech off of others instead of trying to be proactive.

Tarah: She doesn't really like loud and repetive noises. Tarah also hates bureaucracy - with a passion - especially when it gets in the way something she has a time crunch on succeeding or when it prevents active change in an environment.

Josh: People who are nosy and try to pry on other's private matters - on another hand, he can't stand people who care too much about what others will think and have that constant "but what will the neighbours think?!" mindset. It gets on his nerves.

Gwyn: Being pressured - especially when there's something time sensitive involved - which usually makes her panic and spiral rather than to figure out what to do faster. On a sadder note, she doesn't like people who get too handsy with others in an uncomfortable way - she's seen Adrien's patrons do that all too often and now she has a "touch (me/my siblings/my friends) and you won't fucking have hands" mentality.

What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?

Pyerce: Coffee candies, hidden weapons of all kinds (remember he's a retired assassin, and the most dangerous assassin there ever was at that), and probably some messy crayon drawings that Gabi and Morgan made when they were kids (because he's their dad and cherishes the memories)

Tarah: Her best friend's unfinished woven bracelet, protein bars, hooded cloaks and generally oversized hoodies that can help her hide her features when on the run.

Josh: Weights (to stay fit), a radio playing vintage rock music, a nightlight (he's afraid of the dark but doesn't want anyone to know)

Gwyn: Cheesy potato chips, tickets for a comedy show or for the movies, a giraffe plushie she won at a fair

What do they notice first in a person?

Pyerce:... Everything. He's the ultimate secret agent/assassin - so I think he'd pretty much have a clear picture of that person with just a quick once over or a glance. Black Widow/John Wick-style, like a very meticulously detailed analisys of that person.

Tarah: If they look like they're trying to deceive her, catch her or if they're generally a threat to her or her friends. She is also pretty good at reading people's feelings from their facial expressions.

Josh: If he can take them in a fight or if he needs to run. How imposing they are or if that person is trying to intimidate him. Because of his powers, if he tries to, Josh can immediately see/find out what that person's worst nightmare/fear is (his power is Nightmare Manipulation) and choose to do with that information whatever is more relevant.

Gwyn: If they seem nice or friendly. She's bad at navigating social cues because she has spent the past three years locked up in a lab and the years before that in an isolated household, and generally just wants to make friends.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?

Pyerce:

Emotional: 8, but pretends its a 10

Physical: +11

Tarah:

Emotional: -1 (squishy, kind hearted, anxious baby girl)

Physical: 6

Josh:

Emotional: Before his capture = 5, but didn't let it show too much; After his capture = -4 but pretends its a +10 in really extreme ways

Physical: 9 (before and after), unless some kind of psychological trickery is also tied to it - in that case its a 0

Gwyn:

Emotional: 7, sometimes too oblivious to stuff though tends to overthink

Physical: 8

Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure? (I'm also including freeze and fawn)

Pyerce: Goes "Scorched Earth" kind of Fight Reflex - especially when it involves protecting his daughters. And because he is the most lethal assassin of his generation, whoever is threatening/pressuring him better run - though that will only stall the inevitable.

Tarah: Usually Flight 100% - she's the embodiment of deer in headlights and will bolt at any sign of danger even if that just a misunderstanding. However, if the danger is too overwhelming or too similar to her past traumas, she tends to freeze.

Josh: Before his capture - his first instinct was Fight. He is and was a very angry and stubborn person, who tends to have fits of rage when scared or frustrated and who often lashed out in ways he later regretted but was too headstrong to apologize for, often in a bully-like way but not fully - much like Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things. After his capture - if the pressure is psychological or triggers him, he tends to go into an "unique" Freeze mode in which he acts as if in a trance - his conscience feels distant and detached, but his powers are lashing out in Fight mode to protect him from whoever is triggering him. If his former captors are specifically involved, he tends to go into a complete Fawn reflex to appease them.

Gwyn: Fight, especially if she has to protect herself and her loved ones, or when she wants revenge. If there's absolutely no other choice she may choose Flight to Fight another day.

Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?

Pyerce:

Original Family unknown

After he quit being an assassin, he dedicated his life to raising his two adoptive daughters Gabi (the one he adopted first) and Morgan (the second one he adopted), so I would definetly say he is a family kind of guy, despite his murderous past.

Tarah:

Her father was killed when she was a little girl and though she was saved by her godmother, Tarah ended up having to flee the Junction galaxies all alone with Eos (her godmother's son) after her godmother too was truck down by the Junction.

Tarah is fiercely devoted to those she calls family, especially Eos, who is her best friend and who is like a brother to her.

Josh:

He was orphaned at a young age, and his original parents are a mystery. Currently, before his capture, he used to live with adoptive/foster parents (Erin's uncle and aunt) but they weren't very close at all, and he was kidnapped by the PHANTOM Industries shortly after.

Not really. He used to be very troublesome, rude, brutish and often harsh towards anyone that tried to show kindness to him, because he saw it as a scheme and feared he didn't deserve it. That lead him to have a bully kind of behavior to pretty much everyone for years and to be a certified rule breaker who often made things worse than they needed to be. However, deep down, he was developing some semblance of a friendship with his adoptive cousin Erin, but they still argued a lot and he was kidnapped before he could truly have a sibling bond with her. After escaping, he was so conditioned by the Industries to believe he is evil that he thinks he is unworthy of love and respect and that he is a dnager to anyone who tries to get close to him, so he takes a skittish approach to others now.

Gwyn:

Her mother was a troubled, but kind, young lady who had many boyfriends in her youth and didn't really know how to handle parenthood yet and wanted to find out more about herself first. So Gwyn, her twin - Rhys - and their half-brother Adrien (from their mom's first boyfriend) ended up living most of their childhood with their toxic grandparents. A few years after Adrien was kicked out of home at 15, Rhys and Gwyn developed superpowers after coming into contact with a chemical factory leak, and were sent by their grandparents to the Spectre Academy. After they tried to escape at first, they were sent by the Academy to be lab rats of the PHANTOM Industries.

She is - especially when it comes to her twin brother Rhys and their half-brother Adrien. They're the only family each other has ever had, so they kind of have a "us against the world" kind of mindset, though they still have a lot of getting reacquaintted to do with Adrien since they were apart for so long.

What animal represents them best?

Pyerce: A black wolf

Tarah: Hummingbird

Josh: Either a raccoon or feral cat

Gwyn: Arctic fox

What is a smell that they dislike?

Pyerce: The smell of rotten things - especially rotten blood or flesh (a.k.a he is an assassin who hates the smell of corpses)

Tarah: Scent of alcohol and the smell of a lot/too much of perfume.

Josh: Laboratory smells and also the smell of mold.

Gwyn: She generally hates the smell of sweat and unwashed things.

Have they broken any bones?

Pyerce: Yes, many times in his former career, but not once since he quit it.

Tarah: Not really, just a sprained ankle once when she was a kid

Josh: A couple times, most when he was being experimented on.

Gwyn: Not really, probably.

How would a stranger likely describe them?

Pyerce: A quiet and introvertedly serious man who wants to just live his life and do his own thing, who most people don't know much about but who is a genuine benefactor to many and is also a doting father.

Tarah: That skittish kid with the woven bracelets and the multicolored nail polish who never stays in one place and always feels like she's too scared or too anxious to talk to anyone she doesn't fully know.

Josh: A troublemaking, brutish and angry teenager who is always looking for new ways to cause chaos, who doesn't obey any rules and doesn't give a fuck about anyone, and is also rude to most people he doesn't know and harsh to those he does know. The weird kid that is always causing grownups a headache.

Gwyn: It depends on the stranger. If the stranger is with Zander's mob, they'll probably address her as 'Ametrine's' sister (Adrien's stage name is Ametrine) or if they're keen on being especially rude, they'll probably call her "the stripper's brat" or "that girl who is always walking around with Zander's plaything". Yeah. They're not... kind to them. But most other strangers would describe her as a lively, bright headed, kind young lady with a big heart who wants to have fun and has a sparkling laughter.

Are they a night owl or an early bird?

Pyerce: Probably both?

Tarah: Night owl in an unsettling (looming) way

Josh: Night owl - poor boi has insomnia and night terrors

Gwyn: Morning bird, also in an unsettling (but giddy) way

What is a flavour they hate and a flavour they love?

Pyerce:

Loves: Well cooked, refined meals with rare spices

Hates: Painfully sweet desserts, like the nauseatingly sweet ones

Tarah:

Loves: Spicy fried food

Hates: Alcohol

Josh:

Loves: Comfort food (pizza)

Hates: Bland food or sticky food

Gwyn:

Pyerce: Sharpshooting, listening to music, growing poisonous flowers, reading cheap romance books

Josh: Reading comic books, weightlifting, driving around aimlessly on stolen cars, listening to rock, watching rom-coms (hates horror movies)

Gwyn: Going to ice cream shops, watching stand up comedy shows, walking around the city at night, making ice sculptures on the window with her powers,

Boom, surprise birthday party! How do they react to surprises?

Pyerce: Calm happiness and a bit of surprise. After so many years out of the field as an assassin, he's learned to enjoy the joys of regular life, and honestly is always glad to do so.

Tarah: Initial panic but it would then turn into awkward joy as she realizes the situation is harmless. She would probably not know how to properly navigate it and be confused at how to proceed.

Josh: WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS - (almost has a heart attack out of fear, needs three cups of water and a cookie to calm down then is like). Oh, fuck yeah I like this, let's party! Just... don't scare me next time.

“He’s always had a habit of picking up strays.”

The voice croons through the air like an oily black smog, Orana feels faint already as she blinks against the suddenly intense light. Like an insect beneath a magnifying glass. A hands cards through her hair, nails just on the wrong side of sharpness that nearly makes Orana wince. She feels terribly groggy, her limbs left feel uncooperative.

“He and Andruil are alike that way.”

Orana carefully keeps her eyes closed and her breathing as steady as possible. She cannot keep the small hitch at the name dropped before her like an unwanted gift--but the voices are busy with their petty squabbles somewhere above her.

“Hold your tongue, lest I take it.”

“I meant no offense to your paramour—“

“My wife—“

The first voice booms, righteous like thunder in her ears. The hand in her hair tightens, and the nails sharpen against the thin skin of her brow. It is this that has her scrambling down and away. She loses balance, as she often does when in unfamiliar locations. She crashes against the floor falling off of some sort of soft pedestal onto unforgiving stone, but lets but only a small grunt. It takes more time than she would hope, steadying herself enough to slither backwards and away from the voices.

“Eo canavarum, what is going on?”

She squints past the bright light, waits for her eyes to recover and adjust. Gradually she finds her breathe caught in her throat as she fully registers the two figures above her. They are so imposingly large it makes her heart stutter, remembering when she had dangled helplessly from such a monster's hand. For a moment phantom pain shoots up her lost limb while she scrambles to her feet.

Better to die standing, she decides. It was a courtesy few born within her station received.

Instead, she is once again touched, the large clawed hand reaching forward to stroke the side of her face. Orana steels herself, thinks of Danarius' hand tenderly caressing her baby soft hair as he boiled her Papa's blood in his veins.

The woman's voice sweetens, like honey meant to dul the taste of poisoned wine when she trills, “They call us a family, I suppose that makes me your Auntie.”

She takes in their twisted forms, Corypheus and his blighted corruption coming to mind. She suppresses a shiver and forces her face blank and her eyes foreward. She cannot look them in their glowing eyes but she can look just above, stare at skin stretched taut and tearing into flesh like horns. She thinks of the blood bond between Hawke and the Old Magister, that was not family. That was theft.

“You are no kin of mine.”

The male figure laughs, condescending and bright, “Come now, da'len, you’re smarter than that. We do not speak of your mortal father, I speak of your Babae.”

It shutters her thoughts, that this was somehow related to Hawke's blood, another warden curse. Babae, she knows that word, if only through the muddled voice of the Well singing in her ear. That is the connection, she realizes, that is who these people have decided she is kin to.

“S-Solas?”

“What a terribly rude da'len,” Mocking snickering unbefitting of such a titanic elf as he sneers, “Calling her father by his first name.”

The hand on her face travels, ghosting over the scar of her amputation and it takes all of Orana's will to keep still. A game, they are playing a game with her. They are the Evanuris and she would wager the woman must be Ghilan'nain a horror made flesh. She is less sure who the man is, but the way he spoke, the regard for reverence to the Father.

“Don’t be so harsh on her, manners have fallen to the wayside in the time we have been gone,” The Mistress of Monstrosities is petting her hair, like a noblewoman with a kitten. Her nails have reblunted, smoothing neatly over Orana's brow where the Ancient might find Vallaslin had she been Dalish, “His influence I’m sure.”

Orana takes a deep, even breath. They are only Magisters, more ancient and more powerful but she knows what it is they want from someone weak, prostrate before them. She bows, she has no pride not in the face of death. Pride is a waste of life when humility means she might live another day.

“It is an honor to meet you, Mistress Ghilan'nain and Father Elgar'nan.” She does not know the proper titles, the Well does not provide that to her but she knows courtesies. Orana pulls them over herself like an armor, like a shield of frost cooling her heart into something that cannot be harmed.

Laughter booms, not disapproving if his grin is to be believed. Her gamble was well spent even as unease creeps down her spine, “Now that's a clever da'len.”

The hands return, more than two and Orana breathes and breathes as they corral her further into this place--This temple, she assumes. “Yes, little Orana—No, I don’t believe I like that name overmuch,” A tight squeeze against her scarred stump. Orana presses her lips firmly and nary a sound escapes in spite of the pain, “It comes from vultures picking over the bones of our empire. What shall we call you, little Dread Pup?”

Her eyes are averted politely, just below their mouths as her betters but Orana's voice is firm when she announces, “My name is Orana Feddic-Hawke, my lady.”

Two grins greet her, “For now, da'len.”

I'll do Ed (both canon and your version), Flynn (Canon only), Sark... and Jake Kesey (from The Wraith - bonus non-Tron character). I haven't interacted with Mercury, your version of Flynn, or Eos and Clarke, enough to form opinions of them.

Now, I saw Legacy first, and then the original film, so my initial thoughts on the Tron characters are biased that way.

First impressions:

Ed (canon) : Sassy smug kid. Why's he there.

Ed (yours) : All The Therapy for this one. Someone hug him.

Flynn : Old man with good intentions in his past that have come back to bite him. Interesting but where's the substance?

Sark : I don't know if you're an actual threat, or comedic relief.

Jake : Huh. (Literally just huh. Was more focused on the cool car and ignored the people).

Impression now:

Ed (canon) : so many missed opportunities. Also wouldn't it be neat if there was a symmetry in him helping Sam, with his father not defining him, to save the Grid and Encom instead of... we had less than a minute of a throwaway Dillinger, and two hours of Sam making himself a damsel in distress by trying to be the hero and failing.

Ed (yours) : ...I will fistfight the universe if that's what it takes for him to experience happiness without a spectre hanging over him.

Flynn : WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU going from the wildcard in the original film to... that. In Legacy. There's age and stupid decisions, and then there's somehow becoming the most oblivious bastard known to man and Program. I hate the Legacy version SO MUCH.

Sark : oh buddy you're in far too much over your head here. Still not an actual threat.

Jake : ....yesss gettem you funky undead gremlin.

Favourite moment:

Ed (canon) : the miniscule bit of screentime we're given, because that's all we have.

Ed (yours) : him and Sam doodling flowers on Eve and each other. So cute.

Flynn : "that's a really big door" (goofy dork). Also the part where he philosophises at Tron when Tron's figured out he's a User.

Sark : his "oh shit" face during one of the chats he has with the MCP. Blink and you'll miss it, but so funny.

Jake : blowing holes in cars with a supernaturally-powered shotgun while in a really cool full-body-leather suit and blank helmet (hey that's familiar...). I could not make this up if I tried.

Idea for a story:

Ed (canon) : what does he get up to outside of work. Literally anything.

Ed (yours) : Ed Finds Happiness And Nothing Goes Wrong. I don't care how this happens.

Flynn : exploration of why he ends up Like That in Legacy - as far as I know and remember, Uprising didn't give us any of this and neither did Betrayal, as they both focus more on the Program characters than the human ones.

Sark : what was he like when he was new? What would he be like without the MCP commanding him? (Wanting to explore both of these in Serendipity, but haven't got there yet.)

Jake : no story ideas as such, just wanting him to go to other places in the States and... dealing with... their gang problems because he died because of one psychopath ringleader and he's not about to let others suffer the same fate.

Unpopular Opinions:

Ed (canon) : none, mostly because we don't see enough of him to form an opinion.

Ed (yours) : I don't... know if I can have an unpopular opinion about him? I love him too much. Maybe... idk, he needs a "guard dog friend" who's stuck by him for incomprehensible reasons to all (including him). I know he has everyone in our RPs (and others in other RPs!) but... yeah. That's the only thing I can think of.

Flynn : I've seen it around a lot, so it's probably not an unpopular opinion, but his character in Legacy is a disservice to the one he played in the original. I have no idea how he got from point A to point B, and it annoys me.

Sark : probably the whole comedic relief thing. He's just... kind of a non-issue, typical evil-character's mostly incompetent SIC character.

Jake : Why, of all people, did Charlie Sheen have to be the actor for this guy. Also the whole romance subplot was very 80's, and unnecessary.

Favourite relationship:

Ed (canon) : we never see one. However, I like imagining he's head over heels for a tiny barista who looked a would-be mugger dead in the eye when he threatened her with a switchblade and pulled out a Bowie knife in retaliation.

Ed (yours) : all the sibling relationships he's accumulated. Buddy you have a family now.

Flynn : whatever he has with Alan. Also the bit we see of him and Ram.

Sark : he has none we can see aside from the whatever with the MCP. I like imagining he has an "admire from afar" kind of relationship with Yori, because she scares him.

Jake : he has a brother, and goes out of his way even as a vengeful undead to spend time with said brother. Very cute sibling bond.

Favourite headcanon:

Ed (canon) : see the relationships point above.

Ed (yours) : ooh, so many... probably the crochet. I like thinking of him making things.

Flynn : can't keep a shirt for 5 minutes without damaging it or spilling something on it. Ranges from "spilled my water" to "how the fuck is this thing rags now, I bought it yesterday and have worn it for ten minutes". Only affects shirts he's bought himself.

Sark : those horn-things double as handles, and it's possible to pick him up by them and carry him around like a disgruntled kitten.

Jake : can't sing. Loves to sing. The spooky car he was gifted when he came back for revenge has thrown him out more than once because it can't take any more of his yowling.

Hello and welcome!

I am experimenting with writing, and would love and appreciate any feedback. Currently I’m attempting my hand at a TOG fic!

Originally, this was supposed to just be one and done, but I decided to continue. The first chapter may seem a little cringe, but bare with me here.

First chapter was inspired by Exile by T-Swift and the consecutive chapters follow the same pattern or so.

Set after EOS and before KOA. Provides that in-between as the group searches for Aelin, but focuses on Elide and Lorcan🥲

Chapter 1

Elide Lochan knew two things with absolute certainty: they needed more coin and she was going to make herself useful. The tavern, located in a city in the outskirts of Doranelle, was larger and nicer than she expected. Seeing as it was dinner time, people filled the wooden tables. Drunkard citizens both fae and human sat chatting idly as they waited for their food and ale, while a piano played in the background.

Elide ran her hands over her skirt as she explored the tavern. Rowan, Gavriel and Lorcan had agreed to let her wander into town, considering the three legendary males were highly recognizable. Gavriel and Rowan did not hesitate in permitting her to travel alone, Lorcan had argued against it. Ultimately losing. She did not permit herself to dwell on Lorcan and his incessant need to protect her. He had lost that privilege the moment he had called for Maeve. Her heart ached at the memory. It ached at the weight that his betrayal bestowed upon her and her lack of judgment. It ached at the loss… of their relationship.

It was not as if Lorcan had not tried to apologize. He had attempted it to no avail, but Elide could not bring herself to look at him, much less speak to him. A repetitive cycle is what they were currently entangled in. A cycle she wanted out of. Each time she managed to really look at him, all she could see and hear was Aelin, the whip, and the bloodied sand on that beach. She remembered that he had done it for her. To save her. It took all of her will power not to throw up at the memory.

She scanned the room thoughtful and calculating. Moving towards the back of the tavern, she found a seat close to the beat up piano. Hungry eyes fell upon her, making her heart race. Their eyes roved over her body. Before she left the camp, she had dug through everyone’s packs. With the little material she could find she altered her appearance to accentuate her features. To make her look more desirable. She had unbuttoned a few buttons on her shirt to provide more cleavage while her curly dark hair fell past her breasts. She willed herself to smile at the men. No. Males she corrected.

The barmaid made her way over to her table and requested her order. Elide, remembering her lack of funds, only ordered an ale. Not that she was going to do much drinking. When the barmaid walked off, that’s when Elide noticed one of the Fae males approaching her.

“What’s a beauty like you doing here alone?”

Elide glanced at him and took him in. He was certainly attractive, most Fae were. She was not sure if it was his arrogant demeanor or the nasty gleam in his eye, but she felt her senses go on high alert. “Would you like to join me?” She asked winking, trying to make sure she seemed open to his invitation.

“My name is Elric.” He said, quickly pulling the chair out and taking a seat. Setting his ale on the table, he ran his hand through his long blond hair. “And you are?”

“Liv.”

At that moment the barmaid returned with Elide’s requested ale. She made eye contact with her, a warning in her eye and left. “Are you waiting on someone, Liv? Or are you looking for… a distraction?” Elric said bluntly.

Elide took a moment to really look at him. He was perhaps a few years older than her. He wore a finely made red tunic with a jacket adorning his shoulders. Cold blue eyes met her own. At her silence, Elric pulled out his pouch of money, gold gleaming as he opened the bag. “Can I offer you a drink?”

“Oh, no I couldn’t impose. I’m waiting for my brother.” She let her gaze wander adoringly to the piano. “ I’d like to have a turn on the instrument.” Elide said happily, an idea quickly forming at the sight of all that gold.

Elric’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “You play?”

“Slightly. But no, I sing.”

Elric shifted in his seat and looked at her as if she were stupid. “If you sing and only play slightly however will you use the instrument?”

She considered his words. Elide only sang lightly enough for herself. It was one of the few things she did while she was locked in that tower, and in Morath, that had kept her sane. She had never had an audience and for all she knew she could be terrible at it, but the challenge in Elric’s eyes made her steel her resolve. “It’s simple really.” She went to take a sip of her ale. “With or without instruments, I’ve been told I sing like one of the Goddesses themselves.”

Elric smirked, “Like one of the Goddesses you say.” He smiled wickedly at her. “I own this tavern, you know. If you want a shot on the piano I can make that happen for you.” He leaned forward, his arms on the table. “Are up for a wager?”

Elide narrowed her eyes. “What sort of wager?”

He looked around the tavern smugly. “I wager you can’t hypnotize half of this tavern with your singing.”

She kept the disgust off her face as she watched his eyes greedily look at her breasts. It was moments like these that she allowed herself to miss Lorcan and his glowering. “What’s in it for you?”

“If you lose—“ Elric didn’t get the rest of that sentence out, because the chair next to Elide slid out and in sat Gavriel.

Gavriel’s tawny eyes met hers. “Sister, I finally found you. I do apologize,” He said looking at Elric. “Was she causing you trouble?”

Elric blinked. Whether in surprise or something else, Elide was unsure. She had no idea why Gavriel had decided to track her here, after willingly letting her wander into town. Elric chuckled darkly. “No, of course not. We were simply making a wager.”

“What sort of wager?” Gavriel said in a clipped tone.

Taking another sip from his ale, Elric responded. “Your beauty of a sister here mentioned she sings. She was waiting for her turn on that instrument over there.” He nodded towards the piano and the musician currently occupying it. “I simply wagered she couldn’t have half the tavern entranced with her performance. We were setting terms.”

Elide felt Gavriel glare at her. “What terms.”

Elric waved his hand lazily, while his eyes gleamed. “If she loses she is to spend an evening with me.”<

Her stomach dropped at that and Gavriel paled. Elide’s mind whirled at the suggestion. She willed the fear away, and instead willed herself to think of Asterin. Her flirty and nonchalant attitude. How would she react to a male like this? Before Gavriel could interject, Elide leaned forward making sure Elric caught enough sight of her cleavage. “Fine, but if you lose, your bag of gold is mine.”

“Have you lost your mind?” Gavriel whispered fiercely. He had walked Elide outside of the tavern in an attempt to talk some sense into her, hoping the music and thrum of constant conversations drowned them out. He was thankful that he had made it to her in time to witness the mess that was about to unfold. Nevermind that once Lorcan even scents this scheme, Gavriel would never hear the end of it. He had already been gone too long. He had promised Rowan and Lorcan to be back within the hour, and the end of that was nearing. It wouldn’t be much longer until Lorcan poked his head through this tavern.

“Gavriel, we need the coin.” Elide said in a matter of fact tone. “I can handle it.”

He sighed, checking his temper. “I don’t doubt that you can,” He said trying to keep his voice at a whisper. He couldn’t risk Elric hearing them or they would be finished. “but you don’t know how to play that instrument. How will you win this wager without it?”

A mischievous smile erupted on Elide’s face. She cocked her head to the side, a strand of her curly hair falling across her face. “Lucky for me, my brother has played for centuries.” She patted his cheek affectionately.

Realization hit him all at once. He cursed himself for giving her that one particular detail. As their small group traveled in search of Aelin, Gavriel had made sure to be attentive towards Elide, considering she would not allow Lorcan to even breathe in her direction. He had taken these few weeks to get to know her and in return he told her about himself. As they bonded, Gavriel quickly began to see Elide as a friend. “Elide, there are other ways—“

“It’s too late, Gavriel.” She limped over to tavern door and opened it. Elide faced him, determination in her onyx eyes. “We can do this.”

Lorcan Salvaterre cursed Hellas and every other god he could think of as he snuck into the tavern he tracked both Elide and Gavriel to. Once he and Whitethorn had caught scent of soldiers from Doranelle lurking near their campsite, they quickly packed their belongings. Whitethorn was to head West and then make his way towards the river separating Doranelle from the rest of the landscape. Lorcan, on the other hand, went to track down Elide and Gavriel.

He tried not to dwell too much on the fact that Elide would rather have Gavriel helping her. Didn’t want to admit that the ache in his chest only got worse and worse each day she kept ignoring him. Didn’t want to admit what he suspected about her. What he had felt in the Stone Marshes the day he finally permitted himself to do what he had been itching to do since they spoke in that shitty oracle tent. Truly, he was a fool. An ancient stupid fool and there was nothing he could do about it.

Almost instantly, he caught sight of Gavriel leading Elide to the worn piano in the corner of the tavern. Lorcan made eye contact with Gavriel for only a split second, but it was long enough for him to realize that Elide had dragged Gavriel into one of her schemes. Lorcan knew better than to interfere and gracefully made his way over to an empty seat next to the window. He tried not to be bitter about the whole situation. He should be the one that should be helping her enact her lies. Not Gavriel. Not anyone else but him, and he knew it was selfish but he didn’t care.

He watched transfixed as Gavriel played the keys on the piano. He did so elegantly, and Lorcan, begrudgingly, had to admit Gavriel played it well. After a few keys, Elide opened her plump lips but no sound came out. From where he sat, Loran observed how her breathing picked up and a red flush crept up her neck. She was nervous. Elide who always seemed so sure of herself and could lie and become whoever she pleased was nervous, and there was nothing he could do to help.

Gavriel quietly continued playing and after a few more seconds of silence he began to sing. In the centuries that Lorcan had known Gavriel, he did not remember him being able to sing… or maybe he just hadn’t cared enough to pay attention. Lorcan watched as Elide took a deep breath and took a seat next to Gavriel and as he ended his verse, Elide began to sing. It was the most beautiful sound that he had ever heard.

There was no indication that she was anxious in the slightest as she sang, however, he knew better. Traveling with her for those few months had taught him how to read her, and it was the fidgeting she was doing with Athril’s ring, the ring he placed on her finger to protect her, that was the give away.

The longer she and Gavriel sang, the quieter the tavern got. Elide and Gavriel commanded their attention unlike any King or Queen Lorcan had ever known. Never mind that he had no idea that Elide could sing. Not once during their travels did Elide sing. Not for him, and she never would.

He leaned his head back against the window and listened. Elide’s voice grew stronger with every word that came out of her lips. Not as uncertain as she was when she first began. The song they sang—a sad love song it seemed—at first came out choppy but now… now it was a story of its own. Elide sang as if she were reciting a prayer to Anneith herself.

The emotion behind her every word was indescribable. Elide’s dark eyes locked with his from across the tavern, and it was there in that moment during one of her verses that her voice hitched and cracked with so much emotion that it left him devastated. It took all of his cowardly strength not to run up to her and hold her.

As she closed the song, Gavriel harmonized with her. They hadn’t sung the last word when the occupants in the tavern began clapping, and with each clap, Lorcan’s heart fractured more and more as the verse that ruined him echoed itself into his soul and laid itself to rest. It was with that verse that he knew she was never going to forgive him, and he was not sure if he wanted her to.

(Although it doesn't really go for separate saves since they coexist in the same savefile, but it's to understand me better).

Are you named after anyone? A long time ago my mom got pregnant of me, she was the one who chose my name. According to my dad she said something like: Ryuu, honey. I've always told you how much I love your name and the way it sounds, haven't I? How about Ryuuya? Our little Ryuuya, with the kanji for dragon (竜) and the kanji for arrow (矢). I'm sure he'll be very strong and fast. My mom was right about me being fast but as for strength I don't think I'm that strong, my best friend Icaro is more stronger.

When was the last time you cried? When Icaro and I saw a movie, a cat died because a murderer killed it and I don't like it when people kill animals, so I got sad and cried, even though I only do it in front of people I know!

Do you have any kids? No, I'm still too young (I'm only 17 yo) to have them but I would love to run away soon with Icaro from my fathers and start our own family, as I feel overwhelmed that they are always so clingy to me, they could be called helicopter parents. Hear me out, I love my fathers they're wonderful, but sometimes are so annoying that they overwhelm me.

Do you use sarcasm? No, I try to imitate people in order to appear more "normal", but sarcasm is something I have a hard time understanding, I don't know if it's because I'm autistic or just because it's something I'll never understand without any deeper explanation.

What’s the first thing you notice about people? Their voices, I have a hard time remembering people's faces, but for me the voice is something easy to recognize.

What’s your eye color? Brown, a rather vulgar color from my point of view.

Scary movies or happy endings? I love scary movies, happy endings don't exist, only the movie ends, if you think about how their lives continue after that happy ending, it can end up being the opposite because only the movie ends, not their lives. I think sometimes maybe I'm too pessimistic.

Any special talents? Special talents? Talent? Playing the piano, I learned it in school. For now it's the only one I know.

10. What are your hobbies? I really love music, nowadays I love astronomy too, thanks to Icaro who tells me about it every day because he loves astronomy since was little. Oh, of course I love legends and mythology too and also love fashion, I would like to wear at different styles and get different hairstyles, but I'm not very good at it, my mom was but she's now taking care of me from the stars, and my fathers are very traditional when it comes to clothes and hairstyles, so if they saw me wearing something didn't like, they would be upset. Another reason why I wish I could already have my own life. Oh, I almost forget it I also love to make cosplay as my favorite characters or of people who make awesome costumes or who for me are really an inspiration, like Sora my schoolmate or Prompto, the friend of prince Noctis from the continent of Eos that I had the chance to see him once, he takes wonderfuls photos.

Baseball, I'm really good at it, but my fathers put so much pressure on me that over the years more than having fun it overwhelms me, so at the end I ended up quitting. I've also tried surfing and skateboarding thanks to Icaro, but it seems that I'm better at running than holding myself on a board, although that doesn't mean I won't try it again, because I would really like to have a personalized surfboard or skateboard with many cats as graffiti, yes, probably more because you can customize the accessories, but I'll always have Icaro to hold me if I'm going to fall, which sounds pretty nice. Although I must clarify something, games where the ball is the main focus such as soccer or basketball among others, I'm not good at all. Running and using the ball are not my strongest suit. 1)Who was your first ever OC? Do you still “use” them? How have they evolved over time? Answered here! :) 10) OC you most struggled to make? I already answered for one OC that I struggled to make, but I have more than one, so I can answer here as well: Eos, my brainchild for Genshin Impact. I am finding myself in a bit of a slump with her because the way I first designed her, while perfectly aligned with how I envisioned her at the time, was too generic and also not considerate of how she would play a specular role to her sister Mirana. Therefore, I had to go back to my mind whiteboard and work harder to find a way to incorporate all the details that would both make her unique in her own way BUT also very much connected to her sister. I am still trying to find the perfect vibe for her, but I feel like I am getting closer! :) 20) What story are you the proudest of? Why? I answered with the first one here! But, my second story I am most proud of, is most definitely my FFXII “Tale of Two Empires”. It’s so filled with political intrigue, I remember plotting everything out for MONTHS in order to have a plot that would sort of make sense. I spent hours at the library in my hometown, just reading and reading biographies about queens and empresses and kings and emperors, to gather as much knowledge as possible and then, eventually, develop my own political system that would expand on the one presented in FFXII. And I loved loved LOVED writing Nabyrie’s story, and show her path from cheerful young lady to anti-villain, because life kept breaking her down over and over again, but she held to a thread of light and memories that was also the same blade that caused her to bleed into villainy. I think, much like for my “The Larks Song”, I am immensely proud of this story because I was finding myself expanding from simple fluffy sceneries to darker waters and in truth, was starting to finally analyze how events and trauma can transform a person accordingly.

21) When did you start considering yourself a writer/artist? I have to be honest: I still don’t. When I talk with people and address myself as a Visual Artist, it’s mostly so that I can make others understand where I dwell creatively wise. But I do not truly feel like I have any right of calling myself an artist, but I also know that this is caused by me holding Art in extremely high regard. And do not let me start on writing. I am no writer by any means, just a person that likes to embroider her stories on canvases and hang them somewhere, to keep them as memories of all that I was able to achieve, even if it was just for myself. :) Also, please, allow me to make a clarification: this meter of judgment is one that I use only on myself, and never - NEVER - in regards to other artists and writers.

I meant to type up something more in depth earlier but i got sidetracked so I'll do this in the meantime.

Gates to Infinity is both better and worse than I remember it being. I the best part of its writing is it's main characters and the overall theme of the game "hope in the face of hopelessness" n all that. The worst part of its writing is plot and villain motivations. I hate Munna even more than I remember. She's just such a nothing of a character that she made me angry.

It makes sense in EoS that Dialga would be resistant to the changing of the timeline. That game's theme was self sacrifice versus self preservation and Dialga was the pinnacle of preservation. Time itself did not want to change. But, what the hell does Kyurem have to do with seeing the future and preventing the changing of history?? Gen 5 was never my favorite generation so maybe there's something I'm missing but Kyurem feels so empty and devoid of anything when not paired up with Reshiram and Zekrom (Side note I think Kyurem is one of my least favorite pokemon period, I hate it's design so much) He has no real thematic reason to be included or to act the way he does. They just needed a Gen 5 legendary to act as a big bad and they chose him.

The main thing about the updated graphics and designs is that I hate how zoomed in the game is when you're in dungeons. I can hardly see where I am going half the time and end up using the bottom screen map. Dungeons feel like they take forever because of how claustrophobic they are.

Virizion is by far my favorite character of this entire game. She has a very well defined redemption arc and continues to grow even after that arc ends! She has a great relationship with Keldeo and Emolga and Dunsparce that they are the best part of any cutscene. The ending and epilogue made me cry like I had played them for the first time again they do know how to write grief in these games.

This was kinda obvious. Some people would rate this duo lower than Yoonkook but I think that's not fair. If you compare them with an unbiased eye Tkk are stronger than ynkk. First they are closer in age which helps. Meaning they're gonna be closer, too. But put them in a room together and it's not even awkward its nothingness. I'm talking silence. By JK's own admission here it just wasn't working. And we all remember the joint IG live where they ran out of things to talk about and JK would play with Bam instead. Another duo where JK needs a buffer for sure. I mean, sure tkk have been out and about but notice how its always with the Wooga squad? Never just them two?

On the plus side, they look really good. So, I'll give them that. 💚

Minimoni

Again this is so hard because Jimin has very strong duos. But yeah, I will put RM second last because RM as a person (bless him and his dimples) he's not the most entertaining and has to bounce off of someone. Them together, alone won't be boring but I'm not sure it would be that memorable or mind blowing. These are just my personal opinions guys so feel free to disagree or chime in. But yeah. I feel Minimoni is 2nd last for me.

I do find it interesting how comfortable RM is with skinship when it comes to Jimin considering he's not big on that in general (unless its Jin) He's even the one who initiates so he is quite comfortable around Jimin.

Anyway, they're a nice duo with a dynamic that gives you UWUs but they're not the most interesting in my eyes. Sorry Minimonis 🤷🏽‍♀️

What's the most recent thing that we know about them? We know they hanged out after JK left Jennie's CK event. And we know before that JK said him and RM hadn't drunk together in years. Years. Not months. Now this dont mean they don't see eo. It just means they don't drink together often. I do find this to be significant however because both men love their liquor. But, they drink with other members just not eo so.... 😬😬 again, not making this up, its as per their own admissions

So Namkook in a room together 🤔 what do we got here guys? Have we ever had this? We had a Namkook live but the only memorable thing for me was them outing the fact that Jikook live together. I am blanking on Namkook which makes me feel confident about the position I've put RM.

I would actually have Jinmin and Jihope as a tie but since I'm choosing I will rate Jinmin lower. But man. These 2 together are the absolute best. They are such a comedic entertaining duo. Them together alone in a room is worth every penny if we were asked to pay for any such footage 😂😂 they are funny and they bounce off of eo so well. Never a dull or awkward moment between Jin and Jimin. Never.

These two are the ones you throw to a team that's drowning. They are the ones u assign to a team for better views. I love them together fr fr. Best duo. Such a good duo. Honestly. Throw JK in there and you are set for life with the best trio ever. Go search for any of their compilations and I dare you to be bored.

Hopekook in a room together alone, I'd say that's solid entertainment right there. They're good together, they're funny. It's Jhope we're talking about. He rivals Jimin on having chemistry with the members so him and JK alone i think that's a solid video right there. No awkwardness or nothing and Bonus skinship for the Hopekookers. Good times, really.

JK is extremely comfortable with Jhope so yeah... they're a good duo. No one is getting bored.

Yoonmin

Okay y'all. We know most Yoonmin supporters are rubbish vermin but don't let that make you forget that Yoonmin are extremely entertaining together. Put these 2 in a room alone together and come on... GOLD!! The Yoonmin Suchwita episode is hands down the funniest for me. I laughed from beginning to the end. Swear to God ✋🏽 that episode and the one with the drunk TXT members are great rewatches for me ngl. Also Jimin is Suga's favourite member so Suga is super comfortable with Jimin in everything. But my favorite part of them is the bickering of course.

They can't ever seem to stop fighting which is just so freaking entertaining. Remember ITS 1 when Jhope told Jimin he was being cocky so Jimin said he was going to look for Suga so that the guy could kill his cockiness? He said going to Suga would bring him back down to earth 😂🤣 Because this is who they are, its what they do. They insult eo and call eo out. So people who get mad at Suga need to watch a good old Yoonmin bickering compilation. They've called each other ugly, fat, stupid, skinny, and a bunch of other stuff some people seem to have forgotten.

you’ve got to talk more about the mario pmd eos retelling please please

HEY SO I WASNT EXPECTING ANYBODY TO ASK ME ABOUT THIS???? (Context in the tags here)

I don’t know who sent this but it’s been almost 12 hours since I got this when I’m writing a response I REALLY needed to sit on this to remember the details.

So when I said Mario characters I failed to elaborate on the fact that this was not just Mario characters. This is Mario characters, turned into Mario enemies, heavily redesigned to look like Pokemon. So you’ve got Koopas and paratroopas and other Koopa variants based off several starter lines, I think the torchic line was retrofitted over some goombas. And yes this all still (SOMEWHAT LOOSELY) plays out the plot of PMD: EOS.

All the in-between stuff was unplanned outside of the REALLY major plot points like the Beach, the Future and Temporal Tower, stuff like that. I must confess that EOS was my very first pokemon game, and all the other information I had on pokemon was based on a book I had on the Sinnoh Pokédex. so a lot of things like “does this enemy actually work as a good template for this pokemon” were completely thrown out the window because for some reason I couldn’t fathom just turning Mario characters into Pokemon.

I had a dedicated prologue that explains how the characters ended up in PokeMario Mystery Dungeon World, mostly derived from my headcanon that all the major Mario characters lived in Peach’s castle, yes even Bowser (who’s villainy is more of a day job because why else would he join them all in kart racing), yes even the other bad guys (including the dead ones), yes even Mario and Luigi (who I didn’t know had their own house). It was that two characters would leave the castle at night, go into the woods (like a moron) and they get Magic’d away. One of them would get sent to the beach, become the PokeMario hybrid I associated them with and meet the partner; the other would be sent to the Dark Future to play the role of Grovyle.

Now you may be asking, why are you being so vague about the characters here? Well to put it simply, I did this multiple times with multiple character pairings:

Mario and Luigi (Charmeleon? and Grotle)

Dimentio and Mimi (???? and Glameow. Sorry friends I have genuinely forgor what I turned Dimmy into for this crossover)

Blumiere and Timpani (Crobat and Beautifly)

There are others but I didn’t keep track of them because in my 9 year old mind I assumed this would be easy knowledge to recall 15 years down the line. Obviously this was not the case.

My memories are so faded that I honestly can’t recall what the point of the partner was. Or if I even included the partner at all. I just recall that that unlike canon EOS, your playable character did not lose their memories. In fact they are very aware of their past but just don’t know where their original travel partner went. The whole Planet Paralysis thing is just as much a surprise to Player 2 in the Dark Future as they are for Player 1. Also the fact that you don’t lose your memories and EVENTUALLY piece together that this other hybrid thing is your partner does make The Sacrifice sadder. I think the EOS postgame was not covered in this crossover because Player 1 and Player 2 would both wake up at home again after disappearing and saving time.

I can look through my old sketchbook in the morning to see if I can find drawings because I swear to god I have some. Thank you for listening to my unhinged ramblings.

I would ALSO like to note that within like, a few years of creating and discarding this crossover that I saw a video that combined PMD with Portal, subsequently introducing me to the Half Life/Portal universe and resulting in me replacing this crossover AU with a DIFFERENT crossover AU that was literally just the plot of the HL/Portal games with pokemon. I have lots of confidence in saying I could 100% bring back the Half-Life/PMD AU in the current day. Especially now that there is over 1000 of those little poké-fucks to attach identities to.

no, and funnily enough i have this question of kids on my mind a lot nowadays lmao. i related heavily to daniel howell on this topic, he talks about it in a video “i don’t want kids” and the main point he makes is that he wouldn’t want to bring kids into this state of a planet, which i basically agree with. but it would be SOOO easy to just get pregnant for me rn, because my family would love it. they want grandkids and i believe they would support me and love me even more if i decided to have my own kids, but sadly i don’t think it’s an option for me lmao. like.. i guess i wouldn’t be opposed to pregnancy?? even tho i’m scared of it, but if my partner would really want our own kids, idk.. i think i could get persuaded. but that’s another topic altogether, since my romantic life is also far from being the norm in this society and it’s just very complicated and long distance at the moment 😐

Just my 2 cts but some fans are either really young or just don’t spend much time around young men tbh… The things I read on sm about the members and Jikook always surprised me. as a woman with 2 brothers + spending a lot of time around my fiancé’s friends I think a lot of Armys don’t have much knowledge about men’s behavior in general(there are variations, of course). For them it’s either 1-the members are all bffs without boundaries hence why the recurrent "poly bts" joke- when the only two who have shown consistent lack of space/boundaries/romantic vibes over the years are Jimin and Jungkook 2- they’re dating every single women that are less than 10feet from them and that have worn the same trendy shirt or accessory or god knows what 3- they’re never ever dating women and only have very chaste thoughts haha4-they’re even less dating a man.. I have been around my brothers and my fiancé’s groups of male friends so much, they come from various backgrounds, ethnicities, a few are gay men, and they can be really touchy, tease eo all the time and flirt for fun (seriously, do these fans have spend even a tiny bit of time around a bunch of guys?) but they never gave eo hickey made a whole romantic video vlog of their trips suck on eo’s ears and all…. Men don’t behave like this with their friend/bestfriend. For real, spend time with men, just observe them around their friend. Take a look at JHope and Jin almost accidentally brushing their lips at an event (can’t remember which one it was) and the same thing happening a few times between Jimin and Jungkook: very different reactions, those two don’t seem phased at all… Or make your male friends watch GCF in Tokyo and ask them about it. men and women have a different vision of friendship I think (I know nowadays it’s not very popular to highlight differences between the two sexes..). I feel like as a lot of armys are teenage girls or young women, they project their own friendship with their female friends onto the members. It’s not that uncommon for teenage girls to have such a close relationship with their bestfriend that the boundaries between friendship and love mingle a bit (happened to me). Young men’s/young women’s friendships tend to be very different. I can be biased as well, but to me it’s pretty obvious that Jimin and Jungkook share a different kind of bond and their behavior/touches are usually more charged and clearly not usual at all for friends. Especially now that they have grown up and the boundaries between the members are increasing as you would expect for adults friends. They all share a close bond with a bit more skinship that we’re used to in the west but behind that aspect you can still spot patterns in behavior and for me no other duo has made me raise my eyebrows. First off, your "messy English" made perfect sense so please do not apologize!

Second, I'm sure there's lots of nuances to gender, age, and culture at play here that many non-Korean and non-male Army are missing (I know I'm one of them). So it's natural to try to view and interpret things through your own lens because that's all you have for reference. But yeah, I often find myself thinking things like "Why didn't Jungkook mention Jimin's OST on his Instagram??" or "Why didn't Jungkook reach out to comfort Jimin when he was crying during Festa dinner?" Because that is absolutely what *I* would do if *I* were blessed by the gods to be in the same orbit as Park Jimin. But I'm a 43-year-old cis-het white American woman who has been conditioned since birth to demonstrate emotions and do emotional labor. I don't know any 25-year-old males that would constantly telegraph deep feelings the way that I would, even if they didn't have to contend with a glass closet.

If people watch original content (and sadly many don't, which baffles me) they will quickly see patterns in BTS that raise questions. Yes, there's just a TON of skinship among all of them (they kiss anywhere but the lips, they hug, they sleep in the same beds, they compliment each other's looks, they hold hands, they eat each others' food, the list goes on and on). And for some reason fandom seems to hyper-focus on the maknae and tries to compare the relationships among that line for "supremacy" (which makes me sad because there's overwhelming evidence they all truly care for and delight in each other, so pitting them against each other feels a bit sacrilegious).

For me, only Jikook does highly, highly suspicious stuff. Jungkook is super playful and affectionate with all his members, and Jimin is the human embodiment of loyalty and comfort, but the vibe completely changes when it's them with each other, versus them with the other members. Now, they aren't sharing as many glimpses into their personal lives these days so I don't have tons of recent examples (outside of concerts) but there are hints everywhere you look that they still mean the world to each other. But even if you wanted to dismiss years and years of their lingering looks, magnetic pull toward each other, intimate knowledge of each other, time off-schedule spent together, intertwined family and friends, and downright giddy flirting, the most telling aspect of Jikook is the way the other members react to them (especially Hobi and Joon, bless them).

This is my reaction every time I watch the rest of BTS tense up and hold their breath when Jimin and Jungkook are having a moment:

So yeah. I haven't been around young men in well over a decade. I'm ancient and an introverted recluse. I probably fall into the trap of filtering BTS' behavior through my biased lens all the time. But when I step back and just view the content independent of my own desires, what I see is that Jimin and Jungkook have something unique between them. The only way to discount that is to actively dismiss mountains of circumstantial evidence.
