It's not difficult to see, especially when he's as close as he is to this man. The eyes losing focus, the eyebrows, even the way his lips form, the way his overall body language.

It piques Sebastian's curiosity all the more. He waits and eventually the blond man introduces himself and the demonlord smiles. It can almost be described as fondly.

"Ah Eddie Brock. A befitting name for a man such as yourself." He removes his hand from his wine glass (it's nearly empty) and places that same hand on his chest, "my name is Sebastian. First to my name. Ruler of hell, and a monarch to my vampire clan." There was definite pride that he feels when he makes this known. It was pride for himself.

"I," he starts, chuckling light and tucking a strand behind his ear, "am always looking for fun and I believe you may be the one to show me tonight." Nodding, Sebastian is already working on heading out, but he does extend a hand out for Eddie Brock to take.

"Let us go elsewhere, mm?"

Eddie isn't exactly . . . eased by that answer. But aside from talking like the sexier-half of Kraven, he doesn't really have any plausible reason to be a dick ( just yet ). He reaches for more of his drink, and his symbiote relegates whatever mass is left towards his heart. It's closer to his esophagus, makes it easier to transform if-- when they need it. ╭ When? No, no, come on, keep it cool. This guy might be a weirdo, there's plenty in NY already. But so far, not too weird, right? ╮

「 Told you. We don't like this one. 」 It's not so subtle, when there's a mental conversation. Eddie's gaze looks distant, his brows twitch like he's concentrating a bit too much. By the time he tunes back in, the symbiote has to remind him that he's been asked a question.

"Eddie Brock." Smile and wave. Spider-Man taught them that one on accident. Pretend everything's fine and that you're not overthinking everything in your head when, really, you're trying to plot some sort of plan in your messed up mind. "Your turn. What's your name? What exactly are you looking for in a place like this? You know, my partner wouldn't mind if we decided to go elsewhere . . ."

basically, tails was thinking back on how, during the forces war, eggman was able to conquer the world when sonic and shadow weren't around. and, well, he got a little worked up remembering that! he got mad! yeah--real mad!

honestly Percy and Nico's dynamic is made even funnier when you take into account how Will is written in TSATS. Like, oh okay then, Nico just has horrible taste in men and keeps getting smitten with boys who loathe everything he stands for. Percy stopped being Nico's type because Percy started to respect him too much. Cupid is yelling at Nico to raise his standards while Nico scopes out the latest guy who will treat him wrong to take on a date to the Underworld.
