It's not difficult to see, especially when he's as close as he is to this man. The eyes losing focus, the eyebrows, even the way his lips form, the way his overall body language.

It piques Sebastian's curiosity all the more. He waits and eventually the blond man introduces himself and the demonlord smiles. It can almost be described as fondly.

"Ah Eddie Brock. A befitting name for a man such as yourself." He removes his hand from his wine glass (it's nearly empty) and places that same hand on his chest, "my name is Sebastian. First to my name. Ruler of hell, and a monarch to my vampire clan." There was definite pride that he feels when he makes this known. It was pride for himself.

"I," he starts, chuckling light and tucking a strand behind his ear, "am always looking for fun and I believe you may be the one to show me tonight." Nodding, Sebastian is already working on heading out, but he does extend a hand out for Eddie Brock to take.

"Let us go elsewhere, mm?"

Eddie isn't exactly . . . eased by that answer. But aside from talking like the sexier-half of Kraven, he doesn't really have any plausible reason to be a dick ( just yet ). He reaches for more of his drink, and his symbiote relegates whatever mass is left towards his heart. It's closer to his esophagus, makes it easier to transform if-- when they need it. ╭ When? No, no, come on, keep it cool. This guy might be a weirdo, there's plenty in NY already. But so far, not too weird, right? ╮

「 Told you. We don't like this one. 」 It's not so subtle, when there's a mental conversation. Eddie's gaze looks distant, his brows twitch like he's concentrating a bit too much. He'd say something like I know, I'm such a hottie or something along those lines, if he were actually paying attention. By the time he tunes back in, the symbiote has to remind him that he's been asked a question.

"Eddie Brock." Smile and wave. Spider-Man taught them that one on accident. Pretend everything's fine and that you're not overthinking everything in your head when, really, you're trying to plot some sort of plan in your messed up mind. "Your turn. What's your name? What exactly are you looking for in a place like this? You know, my partner wouldn't mind if we decided to go elsewhere . . ."

this is 3. he was created by tails in an effort to develop the "ultimate defense system."

basically, tails was thinking back on how, during the forces war, eggman was able to conquer the world when sonic and shadow weren't around. and, well, he got a little worked up remembering that! he got mad! yeah--real mad!

so, tails did what all great minds do when they get mad, and he conducted some... let's say... unethical science experiments.

honestly Percy and Nico's dynamic is made even funnier when you take into account how Will is written in TSATS. Like, oh okay then, Nico just has horrible taste in men and keeps getting smitten with boys who loathe everything he stands for. Percy stopped being Nico's type because Percy started to respect him too much. Cupid is yelling at Nico to raise his standards while Nico scopes out the latest guy who will treat him wrong to take on a date to the Underworld.

If anyone were to ask her if she liked this whole color thing, she would say Not really. On a deeper level though, she didn't like that she could be perceived. People can see the thing she's hidden so hard. Buried deep within her core. Not even her best friend Haru could spot the inner war she has with herself and now...now everyone can see it.

She isn't the only one. She knows that much, but damn. The guilt of feeling that she wishes she WAS the only one who didn't have to go through this is so, so strong.

And here, she isn't even alone. A stranger sees her. TRULY sees her and she feels vulnerable in his eyes. He's right to think that she'd wrap her arms around herself because that's exactly what she does.

There's sorrow that radiates from her, it's permeated the space around her, and Malchior simply watches. Because of course he does. He's distant and proud and so very numb, because very little has been written in any color on his pale gold ⎛ parchment ⎠ body. He's dipped his fingers in various paints he's seen around the Ward, but he's yet to truly stain- to be filled with anything other than the base magic of a dragon. Not that it's such a bad thing, but ... it's so strange not being able to feel much at all. He has to re-learn emotion, a rather important thing to have in the first place.

I still can't get over how Eliot and Hardison do their "secret" handshake- even though Eliot is miffed that Hardison ate his sandwhich.

I still can't get over how Parker calls Eliot "Sparky," and he's scared enough to rip open his apple- because he actually thinks Parker somehow got a razor blade in it.

I still can't get over how Eliot tells Hardison that he won't help him if he goes to far with "Ice Man," and when Hardison calls him out on it- Eliot blames Parker.

I still can't get over how Hardison comes to Eliot when he needs help brushing up on wine.

I still can't get over how Parker goes to Eliot when she's looking for something to love and he teaches her to love food.

I still can't get over how Parker is allowed to poke and push Eliot.
